Been a customer for years and just have seen this location go downhill, between the high turnover rate of staff and them losing all the skilled managers to the inability to keep items in stock to the new batch of bud tenders, the whole building relationships with staff and them getting to know you as a customer goes right out the window now that owner got rid of all the staff that i have come to know and build relationships with, i know owner does not care about this review but i vote with my dollars and they have lost a loyal daily customer. Also i have seen them implement so many frequent customer programs and they are now trying to put the breaks on giving discounts to the loyal customers and i just cant support what they stand for and how they treat the staff, to the OGs who are left i appreciate you and thank you for always greeting me as a loyal customer but its just time to vote with my dollars and take my business to somewhere that appreciates its customer base

Ive been here twice. The products are fine; however, it seemed the employees were playing shell games. The experience took quite a bit of time during both visits due to the shenaginans. Managers were called over to check something a few times, selections were removed from the counter and subsequently replaced, the buy 2 carts get 1 for $1 turned out to actually be buy 3 and get 1 for $8, and a few other interesting behaviors. I wont be going back.
I love it here. Great service from the security guard at the front to the customer care while shopping. Very kind and knowledgeable professionals. Naturally, I wouldn’t be a regular customer if I didn’t like the product - it’s great, selection is vast, top notch quality, they always have what we are looking for and new stuff.My only question is why the door says “pull” on both sides? One of my favorite dispensaries in San Diego. They have a great selection with some of the most competitive pricing in San Diego. The people are always great and you cant beat the price. My only advice is make sure to check package dates so your product isnt too old.
Good products and service in store but delivery department is lacking. Put in an order only to have it cancelled hours later. No call or text. Called in to check the status and was hung up on. 3rd time it has happened. Going to Urbn Leaf instead.
Make sure you check your bag before you walk out the door. Cashier grabbed the wrong thing bc she wasnt paying attention. I paid, walked out the door, looked in my bag, turned right back around...so tops 1-2 minutes after the transaction, and went back in. They dont do exchanges so now Im stuck with something I dont need or want due to their employees mistake. Annoying.

The folks that work here are genuinely friendly and helpful. There is always a long line, so its best if you order online because then you go to the pick up counter where there is no wait. They always have some deals going on. I wish theyd bring back the Lolo preground; that was the best deal in San Diego.
I find this dispensary to be one of the best in San Diego. I say this because of the variety of products they carry, the many different brands and types, every kind of cannabis product out there from shots of liquid to drink to the butter and sugary gold nuggets you can add to your joints. The WORST dispo in San Diego. So bad they had to take down their Weedmaps pages and create new ones. Be aware that they NEVER update their menu, so dont bother placing an order online. Also be aware that if you placed an order ahead you need to go to the back of the store. Also be prepared to wait in long lines while employees play on their phones. A line of 14 people on a Friday night, one clerk and 6 other clerks all standing around laughing at a Tik Tok video. The most unprofessional dispo in all of SD. Dont support these people, they dont care about their own store, they definitely dont care about us.

Went into the store today and while my budtender Desiree was her usual bright, happy and friendly self, the security guy who checks people in was not. Not at all friendly, just a grumpy guy who is not a good representation for your facility. In the past, they have always been nice and friendly. Get those peple back!
First experience at a place like this as I am from out of state. I forget the guys name but he had a Texas tattoo and he was great. Showed me some options made some suggestions and got me set for a 4/20 weekend.
SDRC needs more parking and bigger spaces! Perhaps the new location will help. The experience is a little hectic and rushed, but that seems normal for dispensaries. With that, SDRC boasts a stunning menu of cannabis products and accessories. From beautifully crafted water pipes to live plants to delicious edibles, their pricing board reads like a wish-list for stoners. The knowledgeable, friendly attendants are ready to offer solutions that meet your requirements. With careful listening skills (in a noisy, boisterous place), they are quick to produce exactly what you want. I wanted gummies under $35 and without coconut or strawberries: Boom! There they were. I will certainly be back soon and hope to visit the new location. You should too!
I have health issues that are relieved somewhat with the use of cannabis and I have found the budtenders here are helpful and informative with answers to my MANY questions. Their pricing is pretty good and include taxes so the price listed is the cost out the door. I strongly recommend stopping in at least once. ♡
Located upstairs. When you reach to the top of the stairs be prepared to show an ID upon entering. There are guards.The smell of the plants are strong if youre not used to it.Nice and clean and a lot of selections from Vape to edibles. I went there to get CBD lotion. Unfortunately, they did not have my first choice of the roller oil so I opt for the tube. Ive used the other one in a bottle but thats too much work.The service is always good. Stand in the line and someone will call you to the counter. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff.Happy shopping!
Located in Hotel Circle of Mission Valley in beautiful San Diego, this dispensary is ideally located for tourists, conventions, and locals. I love the out the door pricing on the menu; there are no surpirse taxes on checkout as its built into the sticker price. I have received great advice on product selection from the Budtenders. One trip to this location, I was purchasing several St. Ides High Tea 100mg. The woman behind the counter suggested I come back on Sunday as this product line goes on promo with a 25% discount. Just this last trip, I went to buy a 1oz bag of shake, and the gentleman behind the counter suggested a different brand that was far superior in quality with a similar price. Ended up with 2 half ounce bags infused with diamonds instead of one 1oz bag with no diamond infusion. The staff seems generally happy to work there and offer great advice that only comes with knowing their products and, more importantly, their customers. Great job SDCC team!

Great experience for a person who is visiting from out of state ( Ohio ) and a little nervous about entering a recreational cannabis shop for the first time! The security guards were friendly, the staff was knowledgeable, and the prices were cheap, what more could you ask for.This is your one stop shop! The place is very clean and the selection has a wide variety of brands and products for everyone. Deals and prices were easy to read and the staff was more than happy to find you exactly what u were looking for. Visited a few other shops after this one and this would be my top choice!
Hurts to say, but this dispensary is starting to go downhill. Their debit machines have been down for I want to say a month now, have to keep pulling cash out and pay their ATM fees. My guess is its down because they want more cash-flow then electronic cards. Also their stock of items never seem to be refilled. The turnover for supplies is not ideal. This was my favorite place since last year, but this past month lately, seeing it slowly sink, I would recommend going elsewhere for now. Maybe they will make a comeback. However, if we follow the same speed as them fixing their card-readers, I wouldnt hold my breath.The one thing this place never does fail, is their staff. Each staff member who has assisted me, is knowledgeable, always in a great mood (or hiding their dead-inside moods well). I kept going back cause of them.

I had a wonderful experience! I suggest this to anyone. Dont feel awkward if youre completely new to any of this, they are very helpful and work with a lot of first timers.

This organization has become impossible to communicate with. They no longer accept calls and delivery is a thing of the past. The new owners definitely arent going to help the customer base anymore.
I have been to SDRC a few times and today we were attended by Mako. From the start she was super welcoming and gave off a good vibe. She was willing to take the time and provide us with all the options available to make sure we were happy with our purchase. I hope next time we go we are attended by her again. Really like the way this place is laid out, and the selection they usually have. The people are great, knowledgeable, and have made some great recommendations. Even if theres a bit of a line, it moves very quickly. Pricing is always transparent and better than a lot of other places. Parking can be a little sketchy, especially when it gets closer to the weekend and in the evenings (go figure), but a little patience and an eagle eye will net a parking space in relatively short time.
Website doesnt work cant use my card. There is no reason to shop here anymore when other dispensaries are more convinient and have a working websites and card machines. Variety keeps the customer ijs
Business is on the second floor, small entrance on the first floor. Look for the Cannabis 21+ signs to help you find the discreet store. Once inside and up the stairs, we joined a happy parade of all kinds of people up to see what they had. 😁 Not at all disappointed!! The best feature for me, beyond the product, is the service. Im not as experienced and it is really fun to get true expert advice. As for product, they have an amazing selection! As my photo shows, they also have quite a bit of information for even a casual browser.

Dont waste your time with overpriced deliveries of mid grade (at best). Instead go here. This place is legit. They have two locations right off the fwy. The selection is massive lots of Sativas, Indicas and Hybrids plus Edibles, Tinctures, Vapes and more. The service is excellent, Cash Only, in and out in 10 minutes. Tip your Bud Tender and definitely pick up a few clones for your garden before you leave.
I love SDRC, but wish this location was a bit better. The staff are fantastic but the building is shaded with a gym, so naturally there is shared parking. Except most spots are filled. The spots are tiny too, so be prepared for a squeeze. This location is always busy and somehow seems to be a tourist attraction. Lines go by quick, and staff are super helpful if you’re looking for recs. No need to pull out cash, they take debit and credit finally!!
🤣 this place has some jokes. Don’t even waste your time. They’ll just sell you leaf and stem with seeds and a hair in it and call it “artisanal outdoor” and that it’s still smokeable. Whoever picked up the phone when we called to figure out how to exchange the product or refund for disgustingly poor quality flower decided to laugh at us and say how the package explains it’s outdoor. Yet the package does not say outdoor anywhere on it. Hope the better business bureau has a hay day with you.
First time going with my sister, entering the place was fine but was helped by a rude cashier who explained nothing to us. Wouldnt come again. guy had a dumb ponytail and lil thin sharipe mustache. sorry if you had a bad day but i work retail n its not hard to be the bare minimum n speak to us like humans.
Have been a loyal customer for years. Now I will never come back here. Live only 5 mins away and still won’t come back. will drive further away now to get my cannabis. If you order delivery, be prepared to wait 3-4 hours. 2 hours if you order an hour before open. Their radius is from San ysidro all the way up to Oceanside and only deliver from mission valley location. They have 1 driver and that’s it always. There is nothing timely about them. They held my order at the store for almost 3 hours till I called and they just sent a driver out with my order because I called.Delivery from SDRC is utterly useless unless you want to spend half a day waiting for your order. No courtesy on their end to tell you while placing order that there’s a 2-3 hour wait. They tell you at hour 3. And I’m still waiting. They told me I was next up, coming straight from store, that was an hour ago. Then he tells me he has no clue where his driver is. SDRC should be ashamed. After being told I’m next up an hour ago, find out after bitching that driver decided to take lunch with my order. So get to wait for him to come back from northern San Diego and then eat lunch and then get my order 4 hours later. I also live no more then 5 mins away just no car.Go down the street to March and ash if you want delivery. Order on Tuesday and it’s no tax Tuesday so same prices as SDRC. Much better options for edibles, carts, flower and everything in between. I’m done giving this place the benefit of the doubt and zero care about wasting half my day.

ATM HUSTLE - employees don’t like it eitherBeen using this dispensary for the same item multiple times. I’ve watched the card machines be down and the atm withdrawal fees climb. Feels like a sneaky way to get more money out of people. Today my discount was supposed to have me under $40 but the discount was messed up by the manager and I had to pull out another $20 from their atm. Causing nearly $8 in atm fees. After city tax, tax, and something else it was and expensive trip. Even better, My Jeep is 11 MPG too hahahah but that’s on me.

First time patient here; the bud tender was rude and kept trying to rush us.He wasn’t really clear in explaining deals, and just wanted to get us in and out even if it wasn’t really busy. They didn’t even offer first time discount which was shocking. It wasn’t until a manager/supervisor was called over and approved gave us a small discount. Personally, I would just go to THC down the street, I got treated better there.
Wonderful store but the website and the app NEVER work correctly. i can never get it to redeem points, it says i dont have an account but i definitely do and have for a very long time. says delivery not available in my area but then if i schedule it it all the sudden works fine. today ive been trying to order from mobile and computer and both keep crashing. this reason has sent me to other stores multiple times.

My experience with their advertising strategies has been excellent. I love their expert team and high-quality services. They have developed effective marketing techniques, and their prices are very reasonable.
I have made my final purchase here. Last 2 times I have been here (mission valley), I have been given the wrong change. It happens, I get it… but this seems more of a pattern. Examples: total $92, paid $100, given back $4… total $54, paid $60, given back $3… the number make no sense. I also run into items on the menu being out of stock regularly.
I order from here all the time and would consider myself to be a regular for their great prices and helpful service. Today the Delivery driver showed up with the wrong order so I called in to figure it out. Alma was so kind and helpful that she totally made me forget they made a mistake. Truly amazing customer service!! She solved my problem in a matter of minutes and got my order back out really quick!! Highly recommend

Very friendly and helpful employees, with average prices and decent selection. Theres a solid mix of items that are almost always available, as well as new stuff that seems to rotate. Come with cash - their card machines dont always work, so youll want to avoid the ATM fee.
Went in for Wild Bills Miracle Balm. It had just been restocked. Always very clean and bright. Easy to read displays and plenty of budtenders. Ive always received great service here. BTs are knowledgeable and always willing to put up with all my ignorant questions.

If i can give you guys 0 stars i would, simply because i let the security guard know i was a first time patient and he was just eating being rude i asked what the process was since they have a censored machine and he asked for my ID with an attitude i handed it to him and he asked me for a different form of id? ( i handed him my US passport ) after that he let the bud tender know we needed help twice and the bud tender said “ well if they need help they can come to me “ meaning my fiancé and i . if you can’t work with people then don’t! highly unsatisfied and will probably never go back. the bud tender wasn’t even trying to help at that! ontop of all the attitude we received in under 5 minutes .

This is easily the best dispensary to go to in San Diego. Any of the others youll walk out paying close to double the sticker price after taxes and all that and its all the same products. Sometimes you even walk out paying less thanks to daily deals.

I used to be a regular customer but this place has really gone down hill. Their selection has been steadily shrinking, their budtenders are usually sweet but they have to get management approval for weekly standard discounts which is crazy inefficient, and the delivery service is still screwed up. I put in an order but they *forgot* to make sure they had my phone number. Who does that on a delivery? Sigh.
The best customer service and prices are phenomenal. Best part of my vacation. They found us the last bag of red velvet cookies, above and beyond customer service and management. My stay was entertaining enough however this little gem of a spot was right under my nose the WHOLE time I was in San Diego!!!!! This place is stocked nicely. The budtenders are helpful and make the effort to get what you want. Parking is a pain and if you go during peak hours in the afternoon, you’re going to be circling for a parking spot to open. Go up the stairs and meet the nice security staff. Then, wait in queue. When a counter spot opens they’ll call out the window number

A good store. Good selection of products, good location, good layout of store, and enough parking. The problem Ive had the past couple of times there was the guys behind the counter (budtender?) were kind of rude to me. They definitely were not friendly and seemed like they did not want to help me purchase some items. I wonder if the fact that I am old enough to be their parent, makes them uncomfortable. Maybe they have not been trained properly. I think with a few adjustments, this place can go from good to great.

I’ve been coming to this dispensary for two years and typically come 1-2 times per week. Usually the budtenders are great, but the one who helped me today seemed disgusted by my presence and would not even make eye contact with me. I will probably not be going back.
Their prices are low, but they do not accept medical recommendations as stated on their website, also they claim to have a rewards program but no store I’ve been to claims to acknowledge that either. Otherwise pretty good experience usually. Just frustrating for someone who is on a budget and trying to find shops that accept the recommendation

This is one of my new favorite shops to go to when I am down in San Diego Area. The gentleman that helped my husband and myself pick out what would work best for us and our dog because my dog has anxiety problems. The staff members are very knowledgeable about their products. Very polite and friendly. I will be coming back to get more products. This product works really well for our dog.
Came out to San Diego for vacation and was very pleased by the size of the location as well as the size of the inventory. They pretty much have a little bit of everything. Everyone was very helpful and in a great mood. I love the fact that I was able to take pictures and record inside. This was definitely an awesome experience, glad I came!!
This location is great however I come here on a daily basis almost and every single day Im in the store for at least 25 to 35 minutes not sure if they have enough employees or not gosh this really bugs me that I have to stay in this store for so long EVERYTIME ....or if its just their systems that are slow but latley every day theyre doing some kind of upgrade to their system and every day the system still glitchy and doesnt work also inventory is pretty bad at this place every day that I come theyre usually out of the product that I want... granted its probably a popular item however the amount of times that I go there and I get denied for the product that I am in the market for honestly the manager needs to train the people better they dont understand whats going on with the new system or the point system the manager needs to be better with inventory and the fact that you guys do inventory when the store is open it just slows things down even more and because inventory is done during the day if Im interested in my product but the cashier next to me has it but theyre being counted I cant get it this is ridiculous and it makes no sense!!!! Seriosuly this location is starting to p*ss me off. I am sorry but its the honest truth
I come in here at least 3 times a week, every time I have a great experience. All sales reps are extremely knowledgeable of their inventory and some even recognize me and know what I’m looking for as I walk in. Zaire is one of those homies, he reps team SDRC very well. Happy to be a returning customer!!!
I have been in here a ton now and always have an amazing experience. The inventory is immense so the system relies on patient budtenders who give feedback and help you find exactly what you are looking for. Shout out to Joseph, who I believe is new, for giving the perfect recommendations today.
If youre going to pay $60 and you choose different items they should be honored and correct. It is bad business to just say sorry but we cant do anything if not one but two of the items are wrong. So you cant take it back okay well then give me the right items if it comes down to it, the mistake was on your end. It comes down to the business losing money by making a wrong a right or the customer on a limited income having to spend an additional amount of money to then get what they originally wanted. I just bought two products that were not correct. You cant say its just the nature of the business because it would be no sweat off the back of the business to give the CORRECT drink AND chocolate edibles its a small loss compared to a regularly buying customer. Might not seem like a big deal to some but when youve waited awhile to be able to afford specific things you wanted and now you cant get it because someone says sorry oh well it cant be returned I dont have extra money to buy the two items again so you all should have done the right thing and given me the items since the evidence is there.

First time trying this place out. I ordered through the delivery service, I placed my order shortly after 3pm and it took over 5 hrs to get my delivery. The driver didnt show up until 830pm, I still tipped him and when I go inside my house I find out that one of my containers has already been opened. Read other reviews and found that other had similar experiences. Not a good first experience.Edit: I went in to the store last week and the experience was night and day from the delivery service. The bud tender was very knowledgeable and friendly, plus the selection is huge!! I was able to use my 10% off coupon on my entire order and was in and out of the store. Will definitely be back to the store but I dont think I will be using their delivery service anymore.
Very clean, very high tech! Friendly staff! Talked with I believe Jesse and he helped me pick out the best products for my needs and took the time to thoroughly explain everything and even suggest some things I didnt even know what an option! Definitely will be returning to this location in the future! Other locations just dont stack up!
Fought their website and placed an order after 8. Received an email saying they won’t deliver tonight despite being open until 9 and drivers working until 10. Delivered 45 minutes after opening the next day without issue. Great driver, product, and helpful tracking saved ya 3 stars
I really love SDRC. Clean and organized. Friendly and professional employees. Including the security guards. They have everything. And the prices are great, and clearly stated. You know exactly what you are paying for your purchase. The staff is happy to help you in any way. If youre a noob, and just arent sure what you are looking for, they will listen, and help you find exactly what you are looking for. They are all very knowledgeable.And sign up for the rewards program, and they text you coupons and deals.
I was like a kid in a candy store. Best place Ive been. Geo was awesome and so helpful and got me some great deals. Super friendly. Very clean lots of product. Prices are a little high personally, but they are out the door prices. I wish they would install lights at the registers because listening for a yell and looking for a hand over the top of loud music is annoying. Staff is great!
I swear my bud tender was high on coke. So awkward. He got mad at his manager right in front of my wife and I for not coming to his station fast enough. Sweating and pacing and pushing product we didnt want at us. Very strange. The cannabis itself was ok. Nothing Id brag about. Not coming back

Ive been a customer here for a while now. I called in a curbside pickup order yesterday. I was never asked for my name when placing the order so they have no record of it, I also was never given a receipt for it - which is illegal. I got home; the cartridge will not work at all. I called to see if I could return the cartridge and was given so much attitude on the phone, basically blaming me for not getting a receipt when that shouldnt be my concern, it should be the business. I will not be returning to your store. You have lost a loyal customer.

Did a walk in order and a Wednesday evening and the line did get a bit long but it moved along quickly enough. Selection was good and staff was very helpful. If I’m a rush totally order ahead.
For those of us who grew up in the era of patchouli scented head shops by the beach in suspect neighborhoods, picking seeds out of our dime bags and desperate the police wouldn’t catch you, times have changed! This is no scummy smoke shop, the bar has been raised and a new level of expectation has been established by SDRC. As you climb the stairs to their 2nd story loft store front you’re met with a friendly security guard who checks your ID (and your person with a metal detector) and WELCOMES you! Around the corner another security guard opened the door for me and WELCOMED me. I was no more than three feet through the second set of doors before a smiling friendly up beat young lady WELCOMED me and asked if I’d ever been there before. Since I hadn’t she explained that each station is a cashier and I am welcome to choose any open station I like. Gabby helped me at the counter and WELCOMED me, and took her time to find the perfect products to meet my needs. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and patient while I asked questions. This is more like a boutique, spacious, sparkling clean, great customer service, open concept and it’s bright and inviting. I’ll be back. The only hang up was the fact that their credit card machines were down, so for now they’re cash only, but they have an ATM in-store so it wasn’t an inconvenience. This place is awesome! SDRC—your sign twirlers worked! They brought me in the door!
This is a fantastic place with reasonable prices. I got 2 dab syringes and 3 edibles packages for $100. Theres an incredible selection. Honestly I had a difficult time deciding and leaving the place. Haha. Johnny(green eyes)😉 was the employee who helped me. He did a tremendous job and was very knowledgeable about the products. Ask for his service when you come here. 👌👌👌
Awesome storefront if your going there. Super speedy.DELIVERY IS A DIFFERENT STORY.I ordered twice, both times took 4+ hours to deliver. I live 20 minutes away.No compensation for super late delivery.Even EAZE takes less that half an hour to deliver. Just unacceptable and unnecessary waiting times.
Very rude people. First you have to put your drivers license into a machine to let you in to buy product. They will not say what the machine is doing with your license. I think they are making lists of people who buy from them to give the California authorities. I have asked on numerous occasions why they scan driver’s license. They will not say why. When I try to find out they tell me to leave when I am not satisfied with their answers. Rude place try somewhere else!
I visited the store twice in one day. The first time the line was super long and they don’t have clear signs or people around to help disabled folks. The second I called the store to make sure the product I wanted was in stock. I’m disabled and told the gentleman that I couldn’t do a lot of walking due to my disability. I was told that they would have them as they always do and there was no line currently. I arrived less than 15 minutes later to be told no we don’t have what you’re looking for. Won’t be giving them another chance.
Horrible service - wish I could do negative 5 stars. Nedsin (or whatever his name was - I asked twice but still no clear name) 5 hours for delivery with no communication and when I called after 2 hours he said the guy would be here within 30 minutes, 2 hours later I call and he had an attitude and said Id get my order by 6:30 (ordered at 1:30 and live less than 5 miles from their location)
100% would recommended this place. From the second I stepped in I was greeted and provided with personalized service. I felt like I had walked into the Dave & Busters of dispensaries - a magical playland just for adults. My budtender Darrell Wilson was the best. He gave me a tour, took the time to find out my tastes and preferences, then found me great product while offering great promos. Huge thanks to Darrell and all the time he took to make sure I walked away with product that was perfect for me. Ill start off with saying that the store itself was really neat and that everything besides the plants were amazing.TLDR: Their store had spider mites, and issued nothing to fix their problem.The reason Im rating this a 1star would be because I bought clones from them a few months ago and it turns out that they had spider mites on them and I had to toss them away. $100 down the drain because their store was infected with spider mites.I call to inform them that my plants had the spider mites and the person on the phone said that yes they had to even stop sells on the plants because that area had been infected, and they tried to recall all the infected plants.I didnt get that call, and I asked if there was anything that they could do about it, like even in-store credit or something. He told me no, that if I didnt get the recall-call that once the plants stepped outside the store that it was my responsibility even though it was legit their fault?Needless to say that I wont be going back.
Been ordering here for years now they usually don’t disappoint but this time I had placed an order and after getting confirmation that they are making it and will be to me within 45 minutes to an hour. 3 hours proceed to go by before I finally call them and ask what was going on they said oh it’ll be another 1.5 hours until it gets to me. I don’t mind waiting but 4.5 hours is just plain ridiculous
The delivery service has been terrible since shopc21plus took over. There is nooooo communications when they are out of stock and whoever is responsible for updating their website has been dropping the ball. They used to be the only game in town, but they arent anymore. Spend your money elsewhere
I love this place. There is a great selection and a wide array of things. When looking at the building it looks like inside would be very small but it its pretty spacious inside. I definitely would recommend this place to all of my friends
Big selection, super knowledgeable staff but it can get really busy and everything is behind the counter so the buying process can t a ke some time. It can also get pretty loud in here and be hard to hear. If you are concerned about that try to go in the afternoon on a weekday when they are slower.
Used to be the top dispo but they hired a bunch of new people in the last year and customer service is absolutely GARBAGE, especially for deliveries. Be prepared to wait 4hrs with no updates then get attitude when you call for an update
I did a online order though the app and the time frame was 60-90 minutes and after 3 hours I called them and told me the delivery driver came and nobody was home. And then they put the order back out and it still never came. I’m over they delivery already my first and last with them.
SDRC happen to be next to our hotel so we went to check it out. It looks nice. Very clean and neat. Well organized, but would be nicer if prices were listed on the displayed edibles and other items in the display case.We have medical marijuana cards and were told that we would receive a discount if we showed it to the cashier.I asked if there were any specials and was told that there were joints for $2 that were normally $6. Limit two per person. There were three in our group but only one smoker, so we each decided to buy two for her. We also wanted to try some of the candy edibles, which were reasonably priced, and an eighth of flowers, also reasonably priced. The total came to about $65. We were then told that if we used our medical card, we would receive a 10% discount, but that the joints would be full price. So I told the cashier that we would forgo six joints and get four instead. One person would buy the edibles with the 10% medical discount and each of the other two would get the two joints for $2 each.He said okay and then processed the transaction that included the edibles and weed.When the next two of us came up to buy the joints, we were told that in order to get the joints for $2, we needed to have a minimum purchase of $20 each.We were confused. And upset. The discount on the edibles and weed was about $6. The discount on each joint is $4. If we had been told that we needed the $20 minimum, we would have split the purchase of the edibles and weed so that we each could have gotten to joints each - as planned. The cashier did not explain the policy ahead of time and did not offer any solution to the problem he created for us. Then he got a bad attitude with us and slammed the joints back into their container. We left without any joints and pissed off and there was no reason for all the negativity.
First time ever in a dispensary. Came here because an out of town friend wanted to try so I took an opportunity to do the same. Local friends that smoke recommended this place because like all the positive reviews here theyre friendly and helpful. Maybe, if you go more than an hour before close. Despite announcing Id never been to the entire store it felt worse than being at a bar dealership.
The location is kind of funky and you have to go upstairs, but, once youre up there, its a quite large showroom. Sales person that helped me was seemingly quite knowledgeable and friendly. Prices are pretty high (no pun intended), but thats the normal state of affairs in California where regulations make costs of production high as does the taxation.
Bobby was an amazing sellsman! He made our first visit amazing! Took us to space within moments of being there! Really enjoyed all of the smells and Information that was given to us! LGBT friendly as well! I recommend you go in and talk to Bobby!

Issac was outstanding! When I arrived I had about 15 people ahead of me but the line moved so quick! Between waiting and Issac helping me it maybe was a total of Five minutes! I was blown away by the selection and customer service.

Really good prices and very big selection. Lines can be long but theres a lot of staff so it goes by quicker than one might think. Couldnt get the online store to finalize my purchase so my items so they would be waiting for me.
As a regular, I’ve never had any issues here and the staff all are friendly and well informed on the products they sell. There are two ATMs if you need to withdraw cash. They have a nice rewards program. Parking can sometimes be a little rough but the wait inside usually doesn’t take too long.
Line moved fairly quickly, staff was friendly, Donald was my cashier and he helped me decide what I wanted in a quick and friendly manner. Even struck up a cool little convo. Glad these guys are here during this pandemic. God bless.
Very clean. Organized. They have a highly educated staff unlike the old days of MED CARDS where the stores had employees who were only motivated by sales. Here we go....I placed an order for delivery a week and a day ago (Tues. Sept. 8) and I have had the worst, most frustrating customer service experience Ive had in a long time.First, after placing my order for delivery online around 8 pm, I received a phone call from a representative who told me you were unable to deliver that night--which was fine--but I told him I would not be home the next morning and that delivery in the afternoon would be a good time. He said that was fine and he would make a note.The next morning, I receive a voicemail from another representative telling me they were processing my order and that it was going to be delivered shortly. I tried to reach SDRC through the only phone number listed on the website, used the appropriate extensions, but the phone line was busy. When I tried to leave a message, saying I would not physically be home to receive my order, I was given an automatic message that the voicemail box was full. Why is a business using a phone number that is clearly inoperable?I tried calling multiple times to no avail. Luckily, the man who delivered my order came a few minutes before I was about to leave--so I thought it turned out okay. But oh no that wasnt the end of it.When I opened my order later that day to ensure the quality of the goods I ordered, the disposable vape pen, which came straight from its packaging, didnt work at all! $30 for a useless waste of plastic.Well since calling did not seem to work the first time around, I tried sending several emails to SDRC--and no surprise here, not a SINGLE REPLY.Okay well now its already Wednesday/Thursday. I had to go out of town over the weekend--so I figured Id just go to the store and physically return the expensive, useless piece of plastic that they sold to me for $30 claiming it was disposable vape pen.So here I am, Tuesday Sept 16--physically in the store, risking my own personal health in the midst of a global pandemic--attempting to return the disposable pen, receipt in hand.But if it were that easy, this wouldnt be a one-star review. Nope. Nah instead, they told me that because they dont know how people store these devices, etc., etc., they CANT ISSUE REFUNDS MORE THAN 24 HOURS LATER. But hey--they could offer me a 25% discount?? Thats exactly what I wanted! A $30 25% coupon--that I could get pretty much any other dispensary just by signing up--cool!TLDR: Non-communicative dispensary that will mess up your delivery, deliver items that DONT FUNCTION AT ALL (straight out of the packaging), not answer your calls/emails, and then smile in your face as they tell you your $30 can get you a nice coupon instead.In conclusion--I dont generally believe in leaving scathing reviews for a one-time bad experience, but their website claims to be the best dispensary in San Diego, and boy is that false advertising.Also--if youre going to employ fancy limited warranty language when speaking with customers, you should at least pretend you can also run a business.
Im sorry to say but my experience there was not pleasant. A new guy didnt tell us a offer correctly. But what was even worse a co worker or trainer for the staff told us the bad news of the price difference. He also just walked away from the new and just let him hang!!!! He could of at least try and close the deal with us and show us something and try to look like your making up to us at least! Poor service in not helping his new co-worker. It wasnt even busy and we left without buying anything sad sad sad.
I ordered once online they where very nice. Went in person, asked about the disability discount and told me I do not qualify. I have arthritis in both my knees, Autism Spectrum and APD. The staff where so rude about explaining and that documentation was needed. I stated my ADA rights to not have to give that info and there response was and we have the right to refuse you. Absolutely disrespectful and zero on customer services. Will never come back, if you want to be rudely talked to about being disabled and have them deny that you are. This so the place for you.

This shop is really nicely setup and is the largest one Ive been to in SD so far. Love the working hydroponic system on display too. Not the best prices though unless you shop the sale items.
Fast and efficient dispensary for great prices. The staff was very friendly. Got to meet the owners and theyre super welcoming and kind. SDRC seems like they care about the customers and the quality of the products. If youre in San Diego then you have to check them out 👍

Cool place, visited from NY and had to visit. Didn’t buy anything so can’t comment on product, although they have animal grade product which would be nice for anxiety ridden animals. Make sure you have your id with you, just like any other age restricted place. Staff is very nice but they will not let you in without an id. Parking may be hard depending on time of day
Friendly environment, go to spot. Ive tried other. Places not sure if others over price and i have still been let down with quality but here you get what you pay for consistent quality have yet to be disappointed with service or quality. Keep it up guys 👍🏼
Tons of staff which keeps the line short and service quick. The prices are slightly higher than average but they have constant sales and promotions that cover the majority of the menu.It’s clean, bright, accessible, and central.
Big variety- kind of expensive- but they have alot of Daily Deals, so its worth it to ask. Plus they accept Debit Cards- which is super convenient & not always the case!

SDRC is one of our favorites, and the best rec dispensary near East County by far. They have a huge selection, good prices, a ton of deals, and great product! Victoria was awesome and helped us find exactly what we were looking for and got us in and out quickly and affordable. We’ll definitely be coming back!

After doing some research on their website, I decided to purchase several products mainly for pain and inflammation. Beware, their in-store prices are different than what appears on the website. I was told by several people including the store manager. Their website needs updating only they dont have the time to do it. Then dont direct people to the site if its outdated. Take it down until you get it right!
I’m a local, and I use this place all the time in person. First time ordering delivery because I’m home with a fever and needed something for pain relief that is natural. Placed an order for delivery that stated it would be here within 2 hours. 3 hours later, made a phone call and said he’d check on the driver. Another hour goes by, I call, he said driver is out for delivery. Another 30 minutes goes by, call again, checks on the driver and says 10 minutes. Stayed home sick today, it is now past 8pm, I was planning on being asleep by now so I could feel better for an early work day. Still up, waiting for delivery. Offered to go pick it up. No offer to comp this order or throw in something free, or any customer service considerations. Very disappointed by the lack of remedy.
I’m a first timer of SDRC - tbh I thought google maps was taking me to my old gym, close enough. The security officer - what a hoot! Sweet guy with some funny stories showed me to the line where there is a queue of people waiting. Eddie on no. 3 helped me out. I told him I smoke vape, indica preferred and I have a high tolerance. He brought me out a great selection of brands and I’m very happy with my Gelato carts. Eddie deserves a happy, high day everyday! Pip pip cheerio!

Really underwhelmed. So the short guy, the manager was asked what do we get for 5 stars in the loyalty program. He made it out like it was going to be a great gift, nope. Just the same funky 10% off they always give out. Then I had to walk back to the car to get my for in order to redeem. I just decided to get in the car and forgo getting bud from them today! I mean I am truly turned off and disgusted. Parking is horrible, and when you find a good brand you like its removed. That LOYAL brand that they try to push tastes outdoor chemy. Ive also brought guests in that the staff was short with, not to mention the darker the skin the more likely you are to get the wand. Im venting, but truly am disgusted. So bitter Ill take my business elsewhere. 10 - fn😠% off! Thats their loyalty program is. Anything dealing with them and the word loyal is a bust.

Place was huge but the selection was minimal and nothing on display helped narrow your decision on the purchase. Our server was great as my friend had lots of questions. Not a lot of personality but professional.
No student or first time patient discounts. But offer out of state card holder discounts... Reason for 4 star. Nice and big place. A lot of options. I get 2 carts and 2 grams. Dont remember the names but good quality products at a fair price.

I decided to try out the delivery service last night. I HIGHLY advise AGAINST using this service or going to this dispensary at all. First of all it took over 3 hours from the time I placed my order to receive my delivery. When it did arrive I was in the other room and my husband answered the door. Since I was the one to place the order I was supposed to sign for it. The driver told my husband he would just forge my signature. I came out only to find that the $128 jar I ordered was opened and had clearly been pinched. I read a bunch of other reviews that claimed the same thing happened to them so needless to say I DO NOT recommend going here unless you like getting ripped off.
Great place but a lil pricey. They do offer coupons/discounts but, my biggest issue with this place is that the discounts never equal out on your receipt. 15% always ends up only being 5-9% actually off. Everytime I ask I get a different answer and you can tell they dont care. Oh well, they have good bud 😉
Ok this was my 3rd time coming here and its what I normally expect but today let me tell you Juan was the best! He was so knowledgeable about their current products AND that new new from some of my favs! Found all the stuff I needed, he was honest and not at all pushy or trying to up sale me! This was by far the best experience ive had at any dispensary but Juan made a repeat customer out of me and im bring my girls who are coming into town this week too!
This is the best dispensary in San Diego they got all the high-end products and cheap consumer options. My budtender Connor k was extremely nice and help me out early select the best product for the best price. Connor k is extremely knowledgeable and gave me those good vibes 😃

Absolutely wonderfully helpful staff who takes the time to get what you need/want. My budtender checked in different locations around the dispensary to find the right products.While all the products are behind the counter, they are happy to allow you to read the boxes and ask questions.Cash only, upstairs but there is an elevator down the hall. Spacious, not very busy during the day, but the parking lot is not at all large enough to accommodate all of the shops in the center. Be prepared to not find an ADA parking space and to have to walk a ways to reach the shop.

This place is like a restaurant that fails cuz the chef knows a lot about food but not about running a business. I picked this place for delivery because they had a brand of edibles that I like but I ended up not even getting my order due to their lack of communication. The website states that there’s a $50 minimum for delivery but lists no other restrictions. I put in my address and got an email that said my order would be delivered in no more than 2 hours. This was at 5pm. After 7:30, I got a call that the drivers are backed up but should be able to still deliver my order, do I still want it? Of course! so I wait and wait. At 8:45pm, I called back to check and was told that it’s too late to make the delivery, so do I want it in the morning? I said yes and got an email at 9am saying my order is out for delivery and will be here in no more than 2 hours. At 11:30, I called to check in and was told that the driver will be leaving shortly. But then 10 mins later, I got a call and was told that my address is outside the 5 mile limit for $50 minimum orders and it’s actually $100 minimum. I told them to cancel my order at this point.What I don’t understand is how did I speak to someone 3 times before they checked where my address is and told me about the $100 minimum? Why doesn’t the website check my address and tell me it’s out of the 5 mile range? And why doesn’t the website tell me that there’s a $100 minimum outside the 5 mile range? All this info would’ve saved lots of time and stress.Seems like SDRC still has some kinks to work out.
One of the biggest dispensaries Ive been at. Prices match the quality of the flower. Gummy our always having a deal u cannot beat that. If I wanted to grow plants they are fully stock with clones ready to go. The customer service there is A1. Employees make sure that our needs are met. They will be seeing me again. So yall make sure yall also show a lil love by donating a little love 😉 😉
I live in San Diego and glad to have a dispensary like this one in the neighborhood. The product is really good at the best price in town! I dont like smoking untested weed any more. I dont have to worry about pesticides or herbicides in my weed when I shop at SDRC. Travis was great at helping pick out some dank stuff! I wont shop anywhere else!

My go to dispensary, rapidly becoming a huge pain. New POS systems twice i a year, artifically inflates wait times. Also, evaluating employees by cart size effectively turns customer interactions into a pressured sales situation. Employees are great to deal with, but the rest ofnit making it so I dont like coming here anymore
First of all, I would like to say that I’ve been a loyal customer since you guys first opened and have been coming almost twice a week ever since. I love the place and people that work there. From David, to Gio, to L J, and everyone else there has always treated me great, even Nick, but today was drastically different. Before I arrived to SDRC, I called prior to see if they can do something about my leaking cartridge. Louis told me to come in, and that they can see what they can do. Once I get there, I’m pleasantly approached by L J after letting the budtender know about the issue with the cart. She then takes it back to Nick for him to review. During that time, I was told by my BT that he purchased the cart over the weekend and he has the same issue. Nick then approached and stated that “it was a definite no,” in which I replied with, “why?” He then proceeded to explain to me, with aggression and a weird attitude, that the cartridge needs to be leaking out of the package, as if I knew the reasons why they can’t do returns. I then asked even if the cart was leaking after using it? He then replied, “you can’t go buy liquor and drink half of it and try to get your money back, can you?” Of course not, but the liquor isn’t defective, the cart is. Not a good example at all. And while he is explaining all of this, he waving his hands around in my face and slamming the table. Why? Not sure what’s the reason behind his attitude towards me. I wasn’t arguing with him, I wasn’t even disagreeing with him I was simply explaining my issue with him, and I’m given complete disrespect. All of the while, L J is watching this happen right in front of her and I ask her, and say it out loud so Nick can hear me, Why is he being so aggressive? And he responded after approaching me by saying “If I was aggressive towards you right now, we would be fighting. I would be fighting you.” Is that right? So now I’m threatened by one of your employees. I didn’t know it was customer appreciation day! I then was told that I had to leave and Nick had Auggie come over and the new guy escort me out. Really? There has to be something done about this situation, otherwise this will happen again with Nick, he seems as though he is a ticking time bomb in a sense, waiting to blow up. Unfortunately, I was that guy he blew up on. Completely unacceptable behavior that shouldn’t be tolerated anywhere, part of a great company or on the streets, behavior that causes potentially huge complications.Update [3/26/21]: After sending this exact review as an email to SDRC HR, here is their response:Good Morning Noah,We would like to offer a sincere apology for the awful experience you had in our store yesterday. We have read your email and public reviews, and are so sorry for the way that you were treated and dismissed without solving any issues you had or satisfying your needs as a customer. We have addressed this instance with all of our managers, and action is being taken on multiple levels.To extend an olive branch, as it were, we would like to offer you a care package that you could pick up along with a face to face apology. While we realize your experience was terrible and entirely our fault, we also suffer greatly from negative public reviews, and ask that in accepting our olive branch that those reviews could be taken down as to not hurt the entire company for the actions of Nick. We hope that you will accept our apology and our offering with forgiveness. You are appreciated and valued.Sincerely,Human Resources DepartmentNot sure what to say about this one guys, Ill let you guys be the judge of this, because Im done.
