Mike is so impressive. He has a great knowledge of the human body and explains in an excellent manner how certain muscles and posture are creating pain in the body and gives easy tips and tricks to help yourself in between massages. I feel very lucky to have found him.

Received this massage as a gift after running my first marathon. Michael was excellent! Great massage & super knowledgeable/provided tips on muscle strengthening. Highly recommend!

Jenny is such a lifesaver for my skin and my sanity! She’s great at taking my harried explanation of what’s going on with my skin and finding the right fix during a facial, and no matter how stressed out I feel when I arrive I always feel cool, calm, and collected after I leave an appointment.

Karen and Jenn are great! Always have amazing massages with them. Come out feeling better than when I went in. And they always check in, make sure I’m doing ok etc. Five stars!

I tried a stretch session with Niko not sure what to expect, and I am now excited to continue future sessions to improve my flexibility, feel better, and improve movement. I appreciated his enthusiasm, explanations, and engagement in helping me feel comfortable. Even after one session I feel a little different for the better and am excited to practice the disco chicken before my next appointment.

Russel makes my experience very nice. As I keep working with him, he has adjusted to a point with his technique to where I am leaving a lot better then I came in, and having lasting effect with my body.

My experience was amazing. From the moment I arrived at the front desk, Sophie who assisted me and explained the whole process was really kind and nice to me to the moment my session began with Renee, who was also kind, nice and made me feel so comfortable during my session.

Renee is a fantastic aesthetician! She is very knowledgeable (answered all of my numerous questions), has great suggestions for my regiment without being “salesy”, and my skin is always beautiful post treatment! Bonus is that she is the best to talk to and just as cool when I nod off (and snore slightly :)). I’ve come to trust any and all of her suggestions because she’s done such a great job every single time and my skin is consistently improving.

Joy was very attentive, asked question to understand the pain point and the service was on point! Will definitely come back to her!

Every person there was friendly, kind, and accommodating. I was there for the facial and they had more options available than where I had been before. Renee examined my skin first and then made treatment options tailored especially for my needs. At the end she offered great suggestions for at home care and my follow up appointment. She believes in her product line but never pushed it. Thanks to everyone it was a wonderful experience. Definitely worth the travel time (2 hours from my home).

Rene has always been such a great clinician! She goes out of her way to make sure each and every appointment is exactly what I need and want, as well as helping me organize my treatment at home. She really cares about her clients!

This is a very long overdue review but after todays massage, I must comment. I typically see Natalie which she is great, very consistent, friendly, and respectful. For this recent massage, I saw Jen for the second time, and I must say it was one of the best massages I have had at this location. She was working spots and muscles I did not even knew were there or needed work. 60min felt so much longer and I left feeling incredible and euphoric almost. The front end staff are always excellent, happy and friendly so it is always a pleasure coming in. I did have one masseuse one time, and he did a very poor job. It was very uncomfortable, not relaxing whatsoever, which I discussed with the staff and they seemed to have appropriately responded. All of the many great experiences certainly outweigh that one sub par. I highly recommend this location and I always look forward to my next massage.

Good therapists, my favorite are Katrina and Cameron (avoid Russell!), but I wonder if monthly membership would be cheaper if there weren’t always 3 people staffing the front desk? Also, the tippy app is terrible and charges you so much just to tip the therapists. They should go back to the old system where you can just leave the tip on your card.

Actually one of the best massages I have ever had. If you like firm/deep tissue, go see Russell.

Catherine was knowledgeable and was very effective in her massage technique! My shoulders felt well balanced after leaving her. She also provided time to rest as well as for light conversation. Overall, a great experience.

I enjoyed my experience with this location. The desk called proactively to sort out a common issue I have when booking online, which is a first! I had a 60min massage session with Marc. He is fantastic. Very professional. Ill definitely be going back!Update!Natalie is also amazing! Great communication with pressure and comfort. Think I have found my massage therapist for the area!

A warning for those looking into their membership program:I’ve had a membership since February 2022 and have gotten to have maybe 4 massages as of this post at the end of January 2023. The dates they have available to book seem to fill up instantaneously as they post them. The only way I’ve gotten as many massages through them as I’ve had is by calling them to complain. They explained they didn’t have anything available and they could alert me as soon as something came up. It wasn’t until I claimed I was being scammed and felt like they were just signing people up to take money never intending to fulfill anything on their end that suddenly something opened up for a few days later. And how about that, another two weeks later. How interesting. You unfortunately can’t cancel the membership midway through the year they contract you to. You have to pay $75 a month for absolutely nothing unless you press them and complain enough. I will be canceling my membership next month and probably losing several credits, as they expire 60 days after cancelling your membership. I advise anyone thinking about this to rather support a different business that cares.

I have had multiple facials over the years, and multiple of those of which were Massage Envy. I had one of the worst facials ever the other day. Rushed, sloppy, and I just felt awkward being a client. Very disappointing because I truly love being able to get a facial when need be at Massage Envy.

Russel is phenomenal!! My whole body was pent up with stress, and I left feeling amazing. Very kind, and great conversation. A million percent, I recommend him!

Russel is hands-down the best massage I have ever experienced. The front desk team is lovely. They are barraged with phone calls and I watch a couple of clients walk in that were grumpy, yet they operated from the highest level of customer service. Amazing team. Stellar Massage Therapist. Marc is an absolutely incredible masseuse and human being. I have seen him for years now and I have never once been disappointed in a massage with him. 100% respectful, professional and comfortable around him. His massage is the perfect mix of relaxing and helps undo tight and sore muscles from strenuous exercise. I have had many massage therapists over the past decade of massage and Marc is the best therapist I have ever had and I will continue to see him as long as he is in practice. I couldnt suggest him more highly!!!

This was my first time in this Massage Envy Queen Anne location, my experience was nothing but wonderful, from the lovely ladies who great’s you when you check in and to the massage therapist who takes your stress away from the every day life. Also I have found my former therapist Catherine in this location, which I’ve been trying to find because she has helped me tremendously with my frozen shoulders. My overall experience with Jen my therapist was absolutely heaven, thank you! My facial therapist Elise is nothing but lovely 🥰, gentle and it made my face feel fabulous! Thank you ladies! Finding a good massage therapist is never an easy task, but after finding Kristina, I will continue booking with her.The staff at the Queen Anne location is friendly, and very helpful. It’s a great experience. I have never had any concerns with cleanliness or professionalism.

Massage Envy Queen Anne is fantastic! Everyone there has always been so friendly and lovely towards me. If you can get a massage with James, I highly recommend it! I’ve had a lot of massages... and his are the best. They are what I will now compare all future massages to! His skills, knowledge, and techniques are on point! And I’ve always felt safe and secure with him... as a woman, that’s very important to me!

I was a member of the Queen Anne location for 5 years and absolutely loved my experience. The front desk staff are so kind and welcoming! I love that you can text with them to book appointments, make changes, ask questions, etc. If I ever had a question about who to book for what type of service they were helpful and honest.I saw Vanessa for regular facials and she is the BEST! She is so knowledgeable about skincare and great at what she does. She is also so fun to talk to but can also sit comfortably in silence if thats your vibe. Massage Envy uses a variety of high quality skincare products that they also sell. I have loved the Jan Marini line.I saw Zumaya for deep tissue massages and he is wonderful! Really understands the body and will recommend helpful stretches and exercises. I have also seen Catherine B. for firm to deep tissue massages and she is great as well.Unfortunately I had to cancel my membership at this location as I am moving but if I am ever back in Queen Anne I will certainly return as a customer.

Jenny is the best! I’ve a monthly membership and every time I come, she takes care of my skin with a custom facial. I love her professionalism and that she created a relaxing and calm atmosphere. Thanks!

I am always so impressed with this Massage Envy. From the helpful and friendly front desk staff to the knowledgeable and skilled therapists. I always walk out feeling so much more relaxed. All of their therapists are fantastic but I cannot recommend enough, James S. James is not only a fantastic massage therapist and very good at releasing even my tightest muscles-- hes also a pleasure to be around. I highly recommend this location. You will not be disappointed!

If you are looking for an excellent and affordable massage in Queen Anne, you must come here and work with James! He is kind, intuitive and has the ability to apply good pressure! I have had many other massages where I have to keep asking for more pressure. Not with James! He is exceptional.The only reason they got 4 stars and not 5 is what I think is super frustrating part of massage envy. I was a longer term member years ago and forgot about this when i recently rejoined. Anyone looking to join, please reset your expectations. Let me explain:If massage envy says 60 minutes, expect 45-50It massage envy says 90 minutes, expect 70-75It is in the small print of their agreements but they consider the time for you to undress and dress as part of your massage time. Therefore the actual amount of time you get a massage is significantly reduced. I always leave wanting more and feeling like it was too short and then I started noting the times and realized that this is just how they do it. Considering the price, it’s still a great deal but if you come expecting a full 60 minute or 90 minute massage, you will be disappointed and it will not be a good fit for you. Honestly, I think it is a bit silly as they tell you you have to be there early to check in and sit in the “tranquility room” (there is nothing tranquil about it) and if they are running late, it shortens your time even more (that just happened to me). But this is their business model and how they keep the prices down. They only make money if they are back to back and churning guests.If you are looking for a great massage and can deal with these nuances, this is a great place to treat yourself to a membership for self care. If you like the finer things and want to be pampered and get a full 60 minute massage when you signed up for it and then have a relaxing before and after….. I would suggest looking elsewhere. For me, I get over the nuances and get a 50 (not 60) minute massage monthly and it makes me happy.Suggestion to massage envy: call it what it is…. If we are only getting a 50 minute, call it a 50 minute and not 60. It is teetering on false advertisement

I have been a Massage Envy member for many years. I had my membership on freeze during Covid & feel comfortable to resume my much needed massages.Kristina was wonderful & I left feeling so relaxed. Queen Anne Massage Envy is taking excellent safety measures as Covid is still with us. Looking forward to my next massage.

I had a work emergency come up so was unable to make it to my appointment. I called, explained, and asked if there was anyway we could reschedule verse just cancel and me loose the money. The person I talked to was very nice but unfortunately the company policy of same day cancelations/no-shows are charged 50% of the service is strict so she had no option to do anything different despite there being semi-extenuating circumstances. Looking forward to my rescheduled appointment next week.

The facial was great as usual.Would be more fitting if the restrooms had soap other than a generic grocery store brand (Dial in this case). ME strives to offer a spa-like experience, but the toiletry doesn’t cut it. Would be great if the soaps in the restrooms could be replaced with a more appropriate brand. Thanks!

Jordan is an amazing receptionist! She realized that another location took my credits and I didn’t get the service. My account went down 2 1/2 credits... (this was from my usual location in CA.) I had shown up for an appointment that was double booked at the CA ME and I had proof (appointment card) that the appointment was given to me. They checked me and an I waited a half hour before I had to say he’s usually not late, so after waiting that long they said oh your not Jennifer? Something they should have asked when I walked in. No manager ever called me, I was turned away, and then when talking to Jordan she reluctantly told me that I only had 4 1/2 “credits” left. Essentially the prior location “canceled” the appointment that I showed for and charged me each credit is $80 so loosing 2 1/2. Is literally them stealing $200 from me. I still can’t believe charged me for the appointment the gave to another woman and turned me away from. I had the card first and she was added in the system later because the card was written first because it was available and the admin forgot to add it, then Tiffany scheduled hers. My appointment was made first and I had taken a day off work. So I lost a $600 job, left incredibly tense and waited 30 minutes thinking I was going to relax only to figure out I was waiting for nothing and they didn’t even know who I was? And then they took $200 out of my account after turning me away!I had had enough. When I called Jordan, she was responsive kind and sweet. Before my new appointment was scheduled she wanted to make sure they didn’t charge me anything more. She went above and beyond doing that already, but now she is going to call the location to find out why they would have done that to me! This place seems thorough so far and I’m excited to get my first massage at this location. Jordan, 3 days ago I would have never thought of staying in the program due to the management of that one location, however you saved the day! I’m curious to see what the outcome is as I have heard many stories, but I’m confident she will do everything in her power to make this right. I hope we can. I’m a reasonable person that just wants to be treated fairly and with respect.I’ll keep updating but so far.. stellar service!

Russell is a fantastic massage therapist. He is always responsive to my requests and is skilled at deep tissue work. Ive seen him for a deep tissue massage at least seven times. Each time is uniquely wonderful!

Once you finally get on the schedule, it is worth the wait!!! Call the office, set up future appointments for wellness and dont try to call same-day or same-week because they book up fast. John is a fantastic massage therapist for deep tissue to break up tight shoulders from working on computers all day. And Elise is an amazing aesthetician, who really makes your skin glow!

This is not a review on pricing - however you should know ahead of time they dont accept insurance. This is a review on the message itself - there are several factors that made the experience not as great as I would have liked.First is their equipment - im not sure if each person provides their own or if its company provided but it no where near as comfortable as other message places. The face pillow was already uncomfortable after 10 minutes (too hard and not enough surface area) and the table was not as comfy as some others ive been on.Then there is the actual massage - and note that while im no professional in the field I have tried out several other massage places. Im sure they knew their stuff well but the execution was lacking. First, they didnt make sure to even out both side of the body but rather focus on the side mentioned. Second, the nails. Throughout the whole massage their nails were digging into my skin which took away from being relaxed. Third, as a matter of personal taste, they didnt go in as deep as to make the massage long lasting. If youre looking for deep tissue maybe not the right place or make sure your specifically ask for this. And lastly, even for the parts that were massaged they were not able to hit the right spots well half the time, sometimes stopping at points that didnt really release tension.Other small notes; their cream being too slippery from experience and they pulled on my hair on several occasions.

My experience with Massage Spa Envy Queen Anne has been delightful. I want to give them 4 stars for many reasons but I think the staff there also wants to be better which in my book is 5 stars. It also conveniently located in my neighborhood up on Queen Anne Ave.Ive had many amazing massages and others that were OK. Tell them what type and pressure of massage you want because they care about matching you with the correct therapist. Im now working with Hillary and every deep tissue massage is amazingly therapeutic. Im recovering from many surgeries so I need adjustments and relaxation to heal. My posture is better and I feel good. Yes, Ill share her name...HILLARY.The staff is awesome - welcoming and helpful both on the phone for scheduling and at the salon. Its a new salon and the staff is gaining experience and to me - their business is running smoother. Im telling you - the staffs attitude is infectious with kindness. I love it!The membership plan has been positive for me due to cost savings and monthly reminders to come in and take time for myself with a massage. When I missed a month massage, my time was added to the next month and so on. So for the next month I scheduled a 2-hr massage and I just melted. You dont need a membership and the regular costs are reasonable. They also work with Health Saving Plans which is very helpful!

I have found this location and massage envy on Queen Anne to be a organically professional, responsive, and supportive. My massage therapist is exceptional at communicating, and responding to changing needs of my older aging body! I am so impressed with him (John).

I saw Natalie and it was the massage I have been looking for! I had been having a ton of neck/shoulder/upper back problems. Natalie was so friendly and immediately put me at ease. She was communicating throughout and checking on my comfort Ana the pressure being used. I slept so good last night and feel like a new person!

My esthetician was fine, she’s always friendly and professional. However, the chemical peel left severe burns on my face, more than the expected peeling. Also the after care kit they gave me had exploded and left a crystallized substance covering everything. MassageEnvy does not do a good job of explaining “credits” or “hours” and there’s no way to check how many you have left. The “membership” price is a scam. I would not go back to massage envy for skincare.

I can’t remember the woman who checked me ins name, but from beginning to end everyone was very friendly and efficient. Ally is amazing - not only at what she does but as a person!!! Cannot recommend her wonderful massages enough!!! Perfect mid to firm pressure, wonderful conversation (though shes good at reading the room on days youd like to be a little quieter), and professional. She cares and it truly translates. I always leave feeling better both physically and mentally. 90 minutes with Ally can undo all the pain and stress youre carrying.

Kristina has a calm and intuitive way about her. It was a deep massage that flowed. When I asked for more pressure, she dialed it up just enough and stayed at that level.

I’m a client from Southern California and although I am absolutely satisfied with my masseur, Nario, but I would move to Seattle just to utilize this service. I highly recommend my Esthetician, Jenny, at the Queen Ann location in Seattle Washington. Massage envy should watch out as Jenny could be working in a 5 star resort. Her technique is phenomenal, her touch is graceful, the overall experience was Superb. She is without a doubt one of the top Estheticians I have ever had. Plus I am a male client and most Estheticians I have encountered are intimidated or inexperienced with a male client wanting a facial. Mens skin care is just as important. I can’t say enough about Jenny.

The more I go here, the more upset I get. I had a subscription back in California for over 5 years. After 3 months here I stopped. The massage therapists do what they want. They are unfriendly and dry. I tend to only get light pressure, like Im getting petted.

Chris is amazing. If you like deep pressure than he’ll get the job done. Best massage therapist I’ve ever had. Super hard to book him because of how good he is.

First time seeing Darla and she did a great job of rooting out and getting in to really working on some of the long term issues I have been having. Had a similar positive experience with Katherine before as well.

They take COVID seriously and I don’t have to worry about safety when I go in for an appointment. Marc has been my massage therapist for most of the year and is excellent at his job. He is attentive, has a very calming presence and I always feel better after my appointment. He goes above and beyond by recommending some simple stretches I can do at home to continue the work. I highly recommend this location if you need therapeutic massage for medical issues. My therapist was very knowledgeable and helpful.

I made it abundantly clear that a massage was a gift for my wife yet when she shows up, they ask her for payment (*even though my card is on file)! When I called, the coordinator didnt act like it was a big deal. So the gift is to simply organize a massage for her but allow her to pay it herself?!! Come onMoreover, my wife said the masseuse used too much pressure even after asking him not to. Not going back there again

Massage Envy has been my greatest touchstone throughout my wanderings this last year. I’ve been fortunate to attend massage sessions in several locations with many excellent massage therapists, including James at the Queen Anne location.

Very poor scheduling experience. I asked for a 90 minute deep tissue massage on any weekday evening. She looked out 2 months in the calendar and couldnt find anything. Told me that they can only do 60 minutes because of the therapists break schedule. Then the front desk person told me it was my fault because I was asking for something too specific. Sorry, I dont think a request for a 90 minute deep tissue on literally any week night is a difficult request for a massage studio that is open until 10pm every day. I have been a Massage Envy member for 12 years and was trying to switch to this location because it is closer to me. Never had this issue at other locations (and Ive been to 5 other locations). No thanks, Ill stick with a location that actually cares to have my business.

I highly recommend the Queen Anne location. Every massage therapist that I’ve seen, especially James, have been highly skilled and therapeutic. I just tried a microderm infusion for the first time and I am hooked thanks to Ciara! Also all the receptionists are very kind and professional.

Michelle did a great job getting me all checked in and explaining how the derma blade worked for men. Renee is an amazing esthetician.

Rating is a solid ZERO. It was hands-down the worst experience of my life and Ive had well over 100 professional massages. Russell put a sheet over me and then proceeded to alternate between digging his elbow or his knee into my body for the next 45 minutes. For a good part of that time he had his hands in his pockets with his knee drilled into various parts of my bodys applying his full body weight. There was nothing relaxing or therapeutic about it! After about an hour of my 90 minute massage I told him to stop that I was done and got up and walked out. Russell is talentless and inconsiderate, he started the session by putting on some alternative rock music without even asking me if I wanted any music at all much less his his personal playlist. Ive been a Massage Envy client for several years now and was absolutely shocked at my experience on this last visit. Do yourself a favor and fire Russell immediately.

Great sanitation from the business. THE BUSINESS IS STILL PROFIT DRIVEN AND I FEEL CHEATED OUT OF SOME OF MY TIME AND MONEY. YES THE SANITATION IS GREAT, BUT THE BUSINESS DOEANT GIVE THE THERAPISTS AMPLE TIME TO SANITIZE THE ROOM BETWEEN CLIENTS. THE RATE IS $70 AN HOUR, MORE THAN A DOLLAR A MINUTE! SO EVERY MINUTE COUNTS, I HAVE CONSISTENTLY BEEN CHEATED OUT OF THE FIRST 5 TO 10 MINUTES OF MY MASSAGE SESSIONS. I MAKE $19 AN HOUR, I HAVE TO WORK AT LEAST 4 HOURS JUST TO COME AND AFFORD THESE SERVICES.

I have had 2 facials with Elise now and she did such a great job. The face massage almost put me to sleep! I will definitely be back to see her.

Darla knows how to find the issue associated with the pain. I followed her to this location because she is fantastic and its difficult to find a good, reliable and helpful massage therapist. Shes worth my drive.

I followed my massage therapist, Sara, from the Bellevue Massage Envy location to Queen Anne. Obviously my massage therapist is who keeps me coming back - shes FABULOUS, but the cleanliness of the spa and the front desk staff are an added bonus to the overall experience! I would highly recommend anyone interested in regular massage therapy at an affordable price to pay Massage Envy Spa a visit!

I have had monthly facials for many many years. I love seeing LeAnne and the results in my skin are evident. I like the product line and I have started to use some of the Murad products at home as well. I expected a chain would have more of a ticky tacky atmosphere but I was thoroughly pleased to see that this is not the case. The atmosphere is pleasant and the decor lovely.

If you want a true deep tissue massage, Russell is your masseuse.

Good experience overall. The place is clean and well-maintained and the staff is helpful and professional. It is a struggle to get appointments, which is the only real downside at this point. Hopefully the more we ease out of Covid the more availability will pop up.

Be careful if you aren’t going to use all of your credits or move to a place where there aren’t any MEs. Their freeze policies are frustrating, expensive, and will cancel themselves after a certain amount of time, leaving you with sudden charges.

Super rude receptionist!! First she talked so fast I couldnt understand her. I was given a gift certificate from my mother and tried to make an appointment. She tried to give me a 90 minute appointment 3 times then when I finally had her find me a hour appointment she told me it was 60 dollars and that I needed to have a credit card on file. Every time Ive been to this location they try to sell sell sell or they are rude!!

This was my second visit to ME since the pandemic. I wanted a soothing and relaxing massage, with a focus on knots in my upper back and neck. Natalie gave me exactly what I wanted.

I made my first appointment today at massage envy in queen Anne, after hanging out in lobby for 30 mins they informed me they didnt have a masseuse for my appointment. So probably try somewhere else, I definitely will be.

First time at that location. Guy spent the most of the time on one side of my low back and told me how bad my back was the whole time . Geez, I know.. thats why I was there. Glazed over the rest of my back because he ran out of time. Back was sore in that spot because he spent so much time there and no where else. It was just a swedish massage. No flow.

Always good experience at this location. One little suggestion: change the background music in the therapy room. Maybe something more white noise than the muzak.

I have had great experiences with Massage Envy - Queen Anne. I’ve gotten a massage here myself which was wonderful and relaxing, and I’ve had great experiences with their customer service team whom I found helpful and knowledgeable.

I am a member but they never have enough appointments. You get an appointment if you book like 2 months in advance which defeats the purpose of having a membership. Also their therapists always move around so you cant stick to one for long.

Catherine is always amazing! Shes the only therapist Ive had that has ever gotten rid of my hand pain.
