Great atmosphere and high end. The providers were amazing, professional and made you feel comfortable. The front desk agents were also very nice, welcoming and I always review businesses that have these qualities because the more we recognize the traditional customer service values the likely we can keep them around. Awesome place!

Such an amazing experience! Every person we came into contact with was so attentive and friendly! Andrea provided the most amazing massage I have ever had. It’s been days now and my body hasn’t felt this good in years. Andrea took the time to really make me comfortable and it made all of the difference. Justine who was my esthetician provided the most fantastic facial. She was so kind and knowledgeable, truly made the experience even better. And my skin is glowing! Thank you to everyone! Truly can’t wait to come back.

I will miss being a client here due to moving out of state. Particularly Justin, Mike and Anthony were my favorites. I will provide some feedback on how this establishment can improve.The massage rooms have the worst air circulation. Almost all the massages I had, the room had no air and was STIFLING. It was extremely uncomfortable being too warm in the room.The entire establishment is all carpet except the massage rooms which makes zero sense. The floors are slippery and such a risk for someone to slip when they have exisiting massage oil on their feet. Area rugs could fix this issue.The towel warmer machine provide no warmth to the towels placed on the body. The towels get cold within seconds, whats the point?These improvements can make clients can have a more enjoyable experience.

Everyone at LaVida Massage is wonderful. I look forward to my monthly visits!! I only gave it a 4 star because it’s so hard to book an impromptu massage because availability is a bit scarce. My life is crazy and sometimes I need a last minute message but 9 out of 10 times there’s no availability for days. 😭 Other than that, I love this place!

This was my second time @Lavida and with Jessica. very pleasant atmosphere. Jessica is amazing, Gave recommendations and explained everything she was doing. My skin is still glowing!!! Will definetly be booking again with Jessica ONLY!!

Had a massage last week at LaVida in Smithtown from Ellen. It was Absolutely amazing and she was so in-tune to where I needed the most attention and took the time to listen and explain. It was my first time there and the staff were ALL great and very knowledgeable. I will definitely be going back soon!!!

I have been here twice, once for a reflexology treatment that was really good, and again tonight for a deep tissue massage-that was outrageous!I have been trying to find a really good deep tissue massage, that is deepBut doesn’t hurt, my therapist was spot. I also like the fact that I have been thee 2x, and there has been. O pressure to become a member.

I Love the Customer Service a big reason why i come here so often. I love the Sauna it is a private room that is extremely cozy! I come almost once a week to use the Sauna. It has changed my life no joke ! I am a Breast Cancer Survivor who needs to continue to Detox my body. I have not felt better my energy, skin, and overall wellness has much to do with this weekly practice. Love this Place and Thank You for what you have brought to Smithtown. Beautiful building. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The massage was heavenly. This was my first visit but definitely not my last! All the staff were extremely nice and professional too

This review is NOT about the quality of massages given at LaVida, as I cannot comment on that. Let me explain.Over a week ago I set up an appointment online for a 90 minute massage at LaVida. I received a call from their staff to confirm my information and just like that, my appointment was set and confirmed. Since my appointment was set a few days in advance, I received several text messages and email reminders about my appointment, which was great. On the day of my appointment, I received yet another text message reminding me about my appointment later in that day with additional instructions. About an hour before my appointment, I received a call from La Vida saying that “my“ massage therapist called in sick. I was left with two options. one was to get a 60 minute facial or a 60 minute massage. While, I appreciated that they offered some type of solution, but it didn’t match the 90 minute massage that I was so looking forward to and anyone who gets massages knows what I mean. Unfortunately, the high end massage that I was so looking forward to never came to fruition for me. I truly wish LaVida much success, but for now I will look elsewhere. Hopefully, these types of situations are far and few between for LaVida, but if they do happen again, I hope they treat the situation a bit differently. I truly believe a good managerial move, in order to not lose a potential “new” client, would have been to offer a small discount on a 90-minute massage some days later. You never know just how many people that one person could bring to your business. ✌️

Had two massages scheduled for December. They called and asked us to switch it because the masseuse wouldn’t be available, which they should’ve gotten their own coverage not made the customer reschedule. Called the day of to confirm only to find out they scheduled it for a month away rather than the week prior to original appointment. I was never sent confirmation either, otherwise I would have made note of their mistake the day I had to reschedule. Didn’t take the proper responsibility of their mistake in my opinion or offer anything for their mistake besides giving the price I booked it at. Also came across another review of someone who had the same situation so clearly, they need more coverage and employees and better communication.

I am not one to write reviews but I felt like a needed too. A few months ago, I went to get a facial, from an older woman. Ever since I was a teenage Ive have skin issues. No matter what Ive tried my hormones fail me, and I break out often and it leaves scars. As I grew up, I learned to live with it, and what makeup works best for me. A few months back I came here to get a facial and this woman was extremely rude to me and speaking poorly about my skin and how it was my fault this has happened to me. Now imagine doing everything you can, trying all medicine, anything to help and this person who is suppose to help you, speaks so poorly about something that is beyond your control. Absolutely horrendous. I will never be coming back to this establishment.

Update: Gail has been gracious to refund me the cost of the service and offer me a complimentary facial to make this right. The facility is a beautiful, relaxing place. I heard a couple ladies speak very highly of there services while waiting in the relaxation room.The staff when you walk were very welcoming. I got there early as asked. I waited 10 to 15 minutes for my appointment time in their relaxation room. I like the new place. They have a lot to offer. Unfortunately today, I can not give a great review. I thought the facial I was getting would be 50 minutes. It was only about 35 minutes. The massage part of the facial was lacking. She only massaged one arm. I could tell she was on her phone when when the hot towel covered my face.She was in a hurry and it was apparent during the whole appointment. She also left green stuff on my face as well as a blob of white lotion on my nose. No one said anything as I checked out about the stuff on my face. When I got to my car I noticed it right away in my mirror. I treated myself to what was supposed to be a relaxing hour. I was disappointed.

Excellent new facility in Smithtown.. My massage therapist has been consistent in technique and very helpful to my condition. They continue to add new services like the salt room which I want to try sometime soon. The new prices seem to be a bit excessive to me but I would still recommend them. All in all one of the best places around.

Upscale atmosphere with exceptional therapists Ive had 3 massages here already and they absolutely helped my soar shoulders and upper body region very polite and caring to my all of my concerns.

I have a lot of trouble getting my mind to stop racing and relax. From the moment I got there from the relaxation room to the table I was already feeling incredibly calm. The aroma therapy, meditation music and the lighting set the stage for the most incredible experience. Linda was amazing, professional and easily found and worked on all the achy areas. You could tell she really takes pride in her work as she should because when I was done I could barely form a sentence I was so relaxed. That’s never happened before!! I will never go anywhere else, and I will always make my appointments with Linda.

Fantastic spa-clean, friendly and a will definitely go back. Can’t recommend LaVida enough!!

When I initially tried to book an appointment for the couples massage, there wasnt a time that lined up with other massage therapists. A few minutes later, I received a call that they were able to line up a time. I appreciated the extra effort taken and booked a few weeks out.The couples massage at LaVida was so relaxing and romantic. My partner and I really enjoyed it. Afterwards we stopped by Maureens Kitchen, 1min away for an amazing brunch!

The person who book the massage for me over the phone sounded annoyed and inpatient. However my wife and I went ahead and got the massage. The Staff there were great, very friendly and polite. The massage with Jaia and Cameron was everything. Second to NONE. The place is very clean and the settings is perfect. Great place to go. We signed up for the monthly plan because of the great massage we got and the desk staff. Excellent service outside of the booking agent.

The visit was serene. I loved feeling like I was being taken care of by staff. Everyone is very friendly and the waiting room was so relaxing. This place may be a little pricy but the experience you get here is certainly worth it.

My experience was wonderful. Staffs are nice n welcoming. I got facials and Brazilian wax done with them. Alyssa is amazing, sweet, and patient. Loved the customer service i received from the start. Christina was my massage therapist and I must say, she was exceptional! My first time experience at LaVida was great from the front desk staff to getting my massage. You are greeted with calmness. One of the ladies in the front walked me to the relaxation room until my LMT was ready. My LMT Andrea then walked me to one of the massage rooms. I told her how it was my first time getting a massage professionally. She walked me through the process. She made me feel at ease. During my massage she would ask if the pressure was ok for me. She worked on the areas where I was feeling tense. Overall it was an exceptional experience and I am definitely going to book again.

I received a massage then a facial at LaVida. Nancy did a great job as a massage therapist and made me feel very welcomed and calm! I got a facial done by Alyssa and she was amazing as well. Everything was great! The front desk staff was kind, the atmosphere was relaxing from the moment I stepped in the door. Christine gave me a wonderful massage (I came home and told my husband it was the best Ive ever had), and she listened to all of my questions and concerns ahead of time. After the massage, the front desk staff let me know about the membership program, and did a wonderful job explaining it and answering all of my questions (I signed up before leaving). I am currently a member at another spa/salon in the area and decided to cancel that membership and come to LaVida because my experience here was so much better than I have ever received at that spa/salon.

I had the pleasure of attending a salty yoga class led by Amy in the salt room at the new La Vida Spa location in Smithtown. I personally love the benefits that the salt room (halo-therapy) has to offer. I suffer from Asthma /seasonal allergies and I find it helps improve my breathing. Yoga combined with halo therapy is a great solution for anyone looking to promote relaxation, and wellness into their practice. I highly recommend it.

Overall experience was wonderful. The staff is very sweet and welcoming. John is excellent. His massages are the best for a relaxing experience or an area of discomfort, I would highly recommend John.

Beautiful spa! I went for the infrared sauna treatment and it was amazing. I had my own private room and felt so relaxed. There were plenty of towels and blankets and the best was my ice cold lemon water that was given to me! Also being able to switch the color of the light was awesome. The girls behind the counter were friendly and welcoming. They have a large selection of products and salt lamps to purchase. I will definitely be back for another sauna session and maybe even a massage. Cant wait!

I had a facial with Dee and it was so relaxing I even fell asleep for a second! My skin felt great afterwards and looked great too. The chocolate product that she applied smelled so delicious. The place itself is set up nice and they have lots of great products. They are very professional and very welcoming.

I had one of the best massage experiences EVER with Nicole! Relaxing , wonderful technique and she paid extra attention to an area I advised I was having issues with. Id never tried Dermaplaning before - so I added as a service after my massage. So very happy that I did! Kait was friendly and made sure to explain each step. I was so comfortable and loved what my skin looked and felt like afterwards. I like the text messaging to confirm my appointment and check in. Ive been to LaVida for a facial recently as well, and will definitely be returning!

My family has been using the salt room for a few different purposes with great results. My husband is allergic to our dog. His weekly salt sessions have been a huge part of his game plan to combat his allergies. We have both done other salt rooms but never gotten the results like at LaVida. He read on one of the brochures “think of it as a toothbrush for your Respiratory system” and he said that’s totally what it feels like. Please keep in mind this is a husband who never likes to admit my hippie ways are effective lolMy teenage daughter - another one who hates to admit I’m right- has been to the salt room to fight a persistent sinus infection. She said her head felt more clear after a 45 min sesh. No cell phones are allowed in the room which is great because it gives us 45 screen free mins to talk ( or read a book or just zone out) Anyone who has a teenager knows how rare that is! Salt therapy is effective for so many things- definitely try LaVida’sgorgeous, clean and relaxing salt space.

It’s a nice place but it’s like $90 intro massage and $110 going forward which is pretty wild. Would be cool to get some hot stones or something with it. People are nice. Place is clean and accommodating. Also got an hour massage started 15 minutes late leaving me with only a 45-50 minute massage. For $90 + $20 I’m not blown away. Bagel store next store is a steal though.

Wonderful experiences, every time! The front desk staff is so helpful and accommodating. The therapists are knowledgeable and skilled. I especially loved the migraine massage. I left feeling awake and invigorated.

I live in NYC but I choose to drive to this location in Smithtown because they are the best! I had a massage and a facial and both were fantastic. Covid-19 protocols went above and beyond expectations and I had no concerns at all receiving treatments during this time. Highly recommended!

I became a member here after leaving Massage Envy. Prices are comparable and reasonable. Main reason for the change was location convenience, but Im glad I did.I must say I really enjoy their app. I can view all available massage appointments both 60 and 90 minutes and see who the therapist is then book it. Super convenient as usually I book these things last minute and love to be able to check at a moments notice for availability.All of my LMTs have been great so far. Everyone is personable and professional. Will be a member for as long as I can.

Definitely not relaxing when you get jipped out of 20 minutes. Had a 3:00 appt. I arrived at exactly 3 and as per the previous text instructions text arrived. At 3:15 they text come in and Shannon apologizes for making me wait and says they had a computer glitch. No big deal...except Drew promptly ended my massage at 4:00 and when I asked him why i was cut short he told me well I have a client waiting for me.When i came to the desk and was asked cheerfully how was it i asked Shannon why I was penalized for the computer issue she just said oh and processed my payment.Most unprofessional ever. So glad the person after me received prompt on time service. Must be nice.

Came in this morning for a body wrap after an exhausting weekend. Asked if I needed to fill out the facial intake form and the lady said “no”. The other woman at the desk chimed in and rudely said “yes I need you to fill that out”. To which I said, “ok so do I actually have to fill it out? Since she said no and you’re saying yes?” And the one lady aggressively cut me off saying “ACTUALLY, I’m the manager so uh yeah you do need to fill that out”. I said “ok I’ll fill out the forms but I don’t need or appreciate the attitude”. Then she stared me down until the other nice lady chimed in again to break the tension. The lack of professionalism and aggressive hostility towards a customer asking a clarifying question was completely unwarranted. The service I received from every other staff member was incredible and on point. It is disheartening that the manager handles situations like that and meets clients coming to this entity for relaxation, with hostility and aggression. 0/5 stars is what I would rate the manager if I could. The owner of this location should seriously consider a change in management because she will runs customers out of the building. Goes without saying, I will never come here again.

For a 60 minute massage session, starting 10 minutes late and finishing 6-7 minutes early is not acceptable. Why not just say we do 45 minute sessions?

Had massages and facial at the location; was very pleased with the services received. Furthermore, got an evaluation for a photo facial, although that service was provided for free, the esthetician was extremely explicit & attempted.

I bought my kids a gift card each and I got the feee one (it was a Christmas promotion ) we went with my daughter recently , all the girls were very nice , why I didn’t give five stars? Because the therapists were 5 mts late for us and by the time we were ready and everything it was already 10 mts lost. Other than that we loved it but if decided to go back, I’ll make sure they take us on time.

We signed up it was great at first but they self make your appointments and they charge your card on a no show then on top give you a negative attitude over the phone they wont last long if they keep this up, watch out before you book this location theres plenty of other options on the island your not the only spa
