Great place for a massage, all the massage therapist are amazing! I usually request one of the female staff members. So far, Ive had massages with Gigi, Dao, Janet and Lucky. Each one of them are masters of their craft. They are very intuitive and always make me feel renewed and energized. Like i said they are all amazing but based on my needs I have to say that Lucky is my favorite. :)

I been coming to The Massage Place (now called Massage Hub) for years and it never disappoints. The place is clean, has reasonable prices, and the massage ladies are on point. I would definitely recommend.

One of the best massages I’ve ever experienced. Gigi incorporated stretching and firm pressure without being painful. Highly recommend.

I bought 5 gift cards here a few months ago and now that they changed their name they will not honour it… even though their website, email address, booking platform and even bank statements still show the company as “The Massage Place”. The staff and interior and everything is even exactly the same. Such a scam.UPDATE- responding to owner’s reply “Hi Sam, if you purchased the gift certificate from our store, we will always honor it. We do have the same owner and therapists. “The Massage Place” is the company name that we are no longer affiliated with. I really apologize for the inconvenience. Your gift certificate will still be valid at other “The Massage Place” locations.”^^^ If you are no longer affiliated with “The Massage Place” how do you explain my wife receiving an email to book through “the massage place” website from “themassageplacesp” email address? And to top it all off my credit card statements reading that I was charged by “The Massage place” after your refusal to accept my gift card from “the massage place”See below images.

SCAM. New name- same interior, same staff, same website, same booking platform, same email address, same email blasts from the company from “massage place”, same everything but they do not honor their gift cards that say “massage place”. We got a 5 pack a few months ago and they said they’re a new company and no longer take those. No one felt the need to let anyone know about this? Interesting…. Then I paid you and the bank transaction still says “the Massage Place” but you’re not the same company???Every email I kept getting to book (last one received 7/18/24) was also from the email address that says “massageplacesp”. (See imagines below) I recently had a baby so I had to wait and m I finally booked after that last email and I clicked through that email and it took me to the platform on the “massage place” website. No where did I see that it’s a new company and I would not be able to use my gift card. I only found out AFTER my massage as I was trying to use it to check out.After this happened I looked on Yelp and it seems other people feel scammed as well. Go somewhere else, these people are taking advantage of loyal customers.

Best place to get a massage! Been coming to Lucky for years. She just knows what to do and what you need. After a long week of work Lucky takes all the knotts out of my muscles!

Gigi is amazing and the experience is always great. Everyone is friendly, the facilities are clean and they are always on time.

I was really looking forward to a reflexology session, but all I ended up with was an extended foot and leg massage. The first red flag was when the therapist asked if I wanted a full body massage (um, reflexology is foot-focused). So I said I was there just for reflexology.Second red flag was when she put lotion on my feet and began massaging my feet and ankles. At that point I didnt want to complain so I just went with it but I was a little bit annoyed.When I checked out they added an extra $10 for reflexology. I told the lady that no reflexology was performed it was just simply an extended foot and leg massage. After a couple minutes speaking with the therapist she came back and basically told me that their reflexology is simply a foot and leg massage. When I explained to her that its specific pressure points on the feet and no massage (and NO OIL OR LOTION) she basically told me that every place has a different definition of reflexology. Note to owner: 1. please educate your front desk staff on the definition of the various services that you offer and 2. have your staff trained in proper reflexology technique, or dont offer that service at all.If she would have given me what I wanted I would have been fine with it but the worst part is that on the back of the door they have a suggested gratuity of $25 for a $59 service. Whats the point of having a no-frills establishment if youre going to try and make it up with exorbitant gratuity suggestions.I wont be back and I dont recommend.

Very consistent. I’ve had a different masseuse for each session booked and each masseuse does an thorough massage. I usually get the deep tissue or firm Swedish. I’m never disappointed.Always friendly and easy to set up an appointment.

Very friendly staff, welcoming and warm atmosphere. But the massage was weak. Felt more like a back rub in the same spots for 90 min. Asked her 5 times to apply more pressure but she kept going back to soft back rub mode. Disappointing experience.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Massage Place in South Pasadena that exceeded all my expectations.The therapist who worked wonders on my neck pain is Nok, and I cant speak highly enough of her skills and expertise . Noks ability to identify and target the source of my discomfort was remarkable.Beyond Noks exceptional abilities, the overall ambiance of The Massage Place added to the experience. The calming music, soothing aromas, and well-appointed rooms created an atmosphere of tranquility.What sets this place apart is the exceptional value it offers considering the quality of service provided. The prices for 1 hour massage is only $59.Will undoubtedly be returning for future treatments and I highly recommend anyone giving this place a try.

Had a massage here with a last minute day of messes. I did voice my pain that when she uses her elbow to massage my upper back, she was pressing and massaging up on my spine, because she was relying mostly on her elbow to massage me, her arm bone kept, rubbing and putting lots of pressure on my spine. I didn’t realize how bad that was until the next day, I felt my spine, extremely painful and sore. Please make sure to inquire or ask to share the technique of the masseuse. I find that those that rely on their elbows to massage clients does not work well with my body as I am on petite stature.

Terrible. I booked a massage and tried to cancel an hour later and then they charged me for 2 massages claiming a 24 hour policy. 24 hour policies are not legally binding in CA if you make the reservation within less than 24 hours. This is a scam practice and I would recommend going to other places nearby, they match the price and are much nicer.

Lucky and Gigi are excellent massage therapists. Excellent methods, perfect pressure, I am a repeat customer and find this location to be consistent, reliable, and worth every penny.

Priya is the greatest Thai Masseuse I have ever used by far. You can tell she knows exactly how to read your body and really work on the areas that make you feel better...everytime. And is the kindest, and most respectful person as well.

Terrible service. I made a same day appointment for my first visit; not only did they tell me when I got there that they didnt have a masseuse for my appointment, I never got an apology or an honest reason for making me drive half hour to this location. When I asked why I didnt get a call to inform me my appointment was canceled they lied by telling me they kept getting the wrong number yet when I repeatedly asked what number they called she refused to give me a number on file. Again, I never received an apology, a reason or a reasonable alternative solution to the situation. Incredibly disappointed.

Best massage I’ve had ! The price is good and they give you the full 60 minutes. Kate was amazing ! The receptionist was also very kind. Overall the place was super clean.

Once informed that its was going to a deep massage, pleaded not to massage to hard I didnt what to feel pain the next day the reseptiones assured me that it was going to be ok I booked my appointment... I notice the ownership change Didnt think nothing of it since it was my 2nd time in the place, love it when I went for the first time... I did notice the masseuse was massaging a bit to hard I did bring it to her attention I notice she was taking too long in some areas. She did not massage my feet and it felt uncomfortable and incomplete The next day I woke up with pain my feet were cramping and they felt uncomfortable she did not complete the job very unhappy.

I owned a Thai massage parlor years ago. I finally located one of my former masseuse. She works here on weds.and sat. one of the best! April is her name, you wont be disappointed!

Incredible massage. I was almost drooling at one point. I like that they incorporate Thai table stretching, it really gets in deep into the tissue & problem areas. Im definitely coming back here again.

I’ve had plenty of massages over the years, all while in a special massage chair. Some were pretty good, a lot were absolutely forgettable, and occasionally some were so bad and amateurishly done that I barely felt anything at all, which makes them the most memorable of all.So when I walked into The Massage Place for the first time, I didn’t know what to expect. It’s in a strip mall, and the place itself is pretty non-descript. I’ve been in some massage places that seemed more like overly fancy Greek spas, with a lot of kitsch plastered all over the place. But I’ve learned that what you see is quite often not what you get. The plainer places are often staffed by better masseuses than the larger ones, and this proved true today too.Hannah came out from the back and led me to a dimly lit room, with a long table dominating the space. Relaxing piano music filled the room. She left the room while I undressed, then slipped under the sheet and covers. Wonderful, a heated table! When she returned, she asked me what I was there for. Since I have a long-standing work injury to my neck and shoulders, which occasionally extends into my back and arms, and which still bothers me ten years later, I told her that I needed more than just your standard oily rubdown. She knew immediately what I needed, and quickly and efficiently went to work.I won’t bore you with the minute details but I can tell you that when I left the place, I felt so much better. The pains in my neck and back were almost gone, and I felt better than I’d felt in years. She did some very deep tissue work on me, and could I ever feel it! She also told me things I could do for myself at home, such as posture improvement while on the computer, stretches and pressure points, and so on.Hannah really knows her stuff, and I know I’d gladly come back again. And if you know me, that’s saying a lot.
