I was looking for Boone & Crockett Whiskey and was told previously from another place that it could only be gotten by ordering it on-line. I called Pyramid Fine Wine & Spirits. They had two varieties including the one I wanted so I went there and was searching for it on the shelves when a lady (Laura) came and asked if I needed help. I told her what I was looking for and that I had called previously. She said yes, you talked with me and to follow her to another shelf. I got it at a much better price than ordering it on-line. Laura was terrific and very helpful, both on the phone and at the store.

I come in all the time during the evenings. I see a lot of praise for Laura, but not nearly enough for the night workers. Every single time I come in, I deal with mark, Sam, Nancy or a Hispanic girl that wears a hat. All of them are helpful no matter what I need, and they all make my night better by just interacting with me. The night kids are very knowledgeable, and if you ask a question they don’t know the answer to they will look it up to help you anyways. The owners have a great store that’s always clean and employees willing to do what it takes to make sure I always leave happy. It tends to be overpriced, but that’s what happens when you support local small businesses! Please pass on to the night crew that they do a good job, too!

What a great place for beers from around the world. And liquor as well. I didnt know we had a mini Total Wine over here. A great find it was. A great selection of German, English, and other beers. You can spend a whole lot of money here. The customer service was excellent. I will surely be back.

Laura was beyond helpful when we came into the store for our first time! While we arent strangers to alcohol, we certainly hadnt been to Pyramid Fine Wine &Spirits before, and Laura was truly amazing! She gave us the grand tour after guiding us to the specific alcohol we were looking for and she couldnt have been more thorough! I admit, the place is jam-packed with product and a little intimidating to navigate due to the copious amounts of glass on the shelves (I get nervous about breaking something by accident, Ill admit) but we definitely knew where we were going by the end of our shopping experience! We used to frequent a competitor years ago, but we know where we are going from now on!

This was my first time going into Pyramid Fine Wine and Spirits. They are pricier than others, but honestly that doesnt bother me. I love the huge selection and all the little knickknacks they have! Laura was great, and noticed I bought two different types of hard cider, and told me about a tasting they will be holding. That is what I call attention to detail!!

This store has a great selection on booze, while a little pricey I would still purchase here. They have all my types of whiskeys and yesterday they had a whiskey tasting. No limit, had about 5 different types and ended up buying a bottle. People seem nice no issues to report.

I was very disappointed in today’s visit(s), 2/16/24, with Pyramid Fine Wine & Spirits. I went in this morning for a friend’s retirement gift from the military. I thought I was being a good person by saying “I don’t know if you have this whiskey, I know they are no longer making it, but I wanted to get some for my friend.” There were 3 left on the shelf and I wanted to buy all 3. (Mind you they are 104$/Bottle). The employee, Laura, had to then call her boss to make sure this was okay since she now found out that this whiskey is now being discontinued. The manager said only one for myself. So, I called my sister and she came and picked up another bottle. Laura then followed her to the door to make sure she was not giving me the whiskey out front.I go in after work around 7pm and go get the last bottle. (There was no rule on how many purchases, just one at a time and there was no sign on it as well). To my surprise, the bottle was still there, however, the price tag was now handwritten with $294.00 on it. I go to the front and kindly ask why the price was upped almost $100. As I am asking this, Laura and a young lady (13-15?) were standing just feet away telling the cashier that I had bought 2 already earlier in the day. He proceeded to tell me to go to Costco and buy whiskey or I can find another one that he sells. I told him kindly that I did not want another kind as this was his favorite, and that I wanted this as a gift for a friend. During this time, Laura and the young lady are now standing by the door, watching and the young lady kept moving closer to me as if she were going to throw punches.The manager told me that this should not have been on the shelf and that he did make the price change because he could not have changed it in the computer yet until the “supplier” was able to “allow” him to sell the bottle. (Even though he told me earlier that he did not know who changed it and they don’t do hand written tags) I informed him that he would have never known it was an item that was being discontinued unless I had said anything to Laura. He then proceeded to ask me why I needed all these bottles and accused me of reselling them at my own store.As I leave the store, Laura and the young lady are waiting outside the store. They watched me get into my car and walk back in after me.I get home to see if I can buy it online from them and have my husband pick it up. It was available for 104$. Within minutes, my order was cancelled for reasons of “Out of Stock”.I will NEVER go to this place again. I will NEVER spread the word of this store either. They are screwing people with price hikes because they are GREEDY. I was willing to spend $$ today for a well-deserved person who deserves it. To each is own, but, I wont go in again.

Good place to overpay for bourbons.Bourbons listed on website that you can prepay for pickup, but then they laugh at you and say they don’t have in stock if you visit the store.I grabbed one off the shelf to get a price check on and was told that it shouldn’t be on the shelf and the clerk then removed all of the remaining bottles.I felt very unwelcome there. Apparently I need to find out when Laura works.

This is the best liquor store in town! Their varieties are endless the store is well organized and always such good spirits when I come. I always get treated so well there. But there was this older lady named Nancy who went above and beyond. I walked in looking to make a cocktail and had no idea what I was doing. She came, and Helped me so much. She took her time to go on the computer and look up every single ingredients in the cocktail. I was trying to make. She was more than patient with me and she made sure I did not leave until I had all the ingredients. And she made sure I did not leave until I was 100% satisfied. She’s such a sweetheart. I came from the UK in June 2023. My son took me here, and I was amazed. Great quality beers and liquor. There were lots of vape supplies, which was a bonus. If youre around Sparks, drop in and have a look around. Its a great place with a huge selection of everything. Staff are so warm and inviting. It makes it a pleasure every time you go there.

You walk in and whether you are greeted by the owner, his wife, or a knowledgeable staff member, you immediately feel at home.Without a doubt have the best variety of quality wines and liquor in the community and if they do not have it they will work hard to find out if it is available. I personally have collected rare bourbons for years. Nevada is one of several states that does not allow shipments of liquor to individuals from out of state, so, in my case the options are limited to hoping a local vendor will get it for you. Every other liquor store in the community has disappointed me in my quest to obtain certain rare bourbons either because I did not belong to their “club”, had not spent enough money in their store to qualify, or frankly, just did not have the knowledge about what I was seeking or the ability to obtain it.Pyramid Fine Wine & Spirits on the other hand has never disappointed me. Quite often it is in the store. If it is not available, they can usually get me a timeline as to when it will be in and notify me when it arrives. Obviously, my tastes also vary to wines, cordials, and beer depending on the season.Probably most important is the simple fact that the owner, his wife and staff have always been honest and straight forward with me. Yes, at times they may be a bit more expensive, but I also consider they are a locally owned business and I choose to support them because of that and for the other reasons stated in this review.I highly recommend Pyramid Fine Wine & Spirits.UPDATE 12-25-2023:For the past 3 years I have shopped exclusively at Pyramid Fine Wine & Spirits for additions to my Bourbon - Whiskey collection. They have never failed to either have what I am looking for or get it for me.This year and 90 bottles of bourbon - whiskey later, I have started a Rum collection. Cant wait to see where this goes.Bottom line - There is no better place to find what you are looking for whether it be spirits or wine or to ask their staff to find it for you than Pyramid Fine Wines & Spirits

My lady and I always come to Pyramid Liquor for our adult style beverages. Sammy and Cianna, I hope I spelled those names right lol, are amazing staff members. Both of them have helped us, because we mostly come by in the evening, and they are very knowledgeable and friendly. Sammy goes above and beyond to make us feel welcomed each time we visit. Cianna is always very personable and helps us find our way around the massive selection of party favors! Sometimes at checkout they suggest really delicious drinks and mixers so you just gotta go in and see whats special...you wont be disappointed!

The selection is incredible! I love how they have different types of beer and seltzers from all over the country. The owner was there with his distributor and I asked about the different bottles. He told me how much he was charging ($99), which was only a couple of dollars over MSRP, but because I wasn’t sure how to get them on my flight home I walked away. Two days later I returned to purchase the bottle I asked about only to be told by the owner the bottle was $1000, $900 more than originally quoted by the same person. I tried to explain to him he quoted me $99 and he replied, “If I get it for $99, you’ll get it for $99.”As a collector I explained to him I know the price is $60-$70 from the distributor and was good with the mark up, until he tried to overcharge over $900!Periodically I will run in to see hard to find bottles and to see what outrageous prices this guy and his wife are charging hard working individuals. I’m new to town and just discovered Pyramid Fine Wine & Spirits and wow! What a find! They have an amazing and EXTENSIVE selection of literally every possible wine and liquor you could ever want. But just as importantly, the people that work there are super friendly, super knowledgeable and just a pleasure to deal with. And as an added bonus, they have a great points program! Finally, a big shout out to Laura. She is a very cool lady who knows every inch of the store. I had a ton of questions like “Do you have this?” And “Where can I find that?” and she helped me with everything, always with a big smile!

Pyramid fine wine & spirits has wide variety of drinks. This is the only store in town that has the sour smoothie beers. The employees are really nice and usually try and make everything easy to find and Laurs has been very helpful when looking for certain drinks or just wanting a recommendation on something new.

Went in one evening to check out the store, being new to the region. First of all, the appearance and selection within the store was fantastic. Huge selection and variety of choices. Now the reason for the 1-star review. Pricing. Like others have mentioned, I dont mind a slight markup, but the markup here is almost double MSRP. I found a bottle of Jeffersons Old Rum Cask. Ive purchased several of these in the $60-80 range. Their price was $139.99. Bottles of Fortaleza Tequila (MSRP $60-80) were on display for $150-160. Yeah, I get you have this loyalty program, but you dont advertise it on your website and I cannot find any information on the requirements to be eligible for allocated spirits or discounted pricing. It just reeks of a scam.In the end, Im not going to shop at an overpriced store. I can buy these products online for a slight markup, or find similar spirits elsewhere and not feel like Im getting gouged. Its sad because I would love to support a local business and the location is super convenient. If this is your attitude towards your customers, you lost one right from the first experience.

I called to find out if they had any Blantons or any of the Weller whiskeys. The lady that answered told me she looked on the floor and there was no Blantons or Weller whiskey. I decided to show up to see their selection and they did indeed have both Blantons and 10+ bottles of different Weller whiskeys. So the lady was just too lazy to look. They also had a 12 year Jack Daniels for $350 which is crazy!!! Sierra mart had the same bottle for $178 up the road… So not only does customer service suck at the shop but so do the prices!!!

This place is a dream come true! Every inch of shelf space is filled with a truly diverse selection of beer, wine, and spirits. From the everyday staples,(which is the only thing most other stores seem to have a constant supply of, even though they advertise to carry a wide variety! But thats another review.) to unique, hard to find, proprietary and truly craft labels. Customer service is impeccable with Sonny and Corina at the helm, they really make me feel happy to make my purchase, be it large or small. As an amateur drinker, I dont have much experience with alcohol. Out to dinner one night we had Lemon Drop Martinis and wanted to create them at home. So armed with three different recipes, we went to Pyramid Fine Wine & Spirits to find the ingredients for this tasty concoction. As we looked around in total confusion about what we were looking for we were saved by Laura, who took us under her wing and chose the best vodka, and other ingredients that we needed! Not only did she go out of her way to set us up, she also helped other customers at the same time, keeping everything flowing smoothly! The Martinis were everything we hoped for, and Laura is our number one go to for any alcohol related questions we may have! Thank you Laura, our martinis were better than the ones we had at the restraunt!!

Two years ago, I posted a 5 star review for pyramid fine wine and spirits, and tonight I am leaving another.After searching all around for a bottle of Sam Adams Utopias - a several hundred dollar bottle of a very limited release - I found one here! The last place to have any in all of Nevada, California, Oregon, Washington, and Arizona.Long story short, I am getting married soon and this is what we want to toast at the wedding. Finally I was in a place where I decided to ask sonny.My issue was, I own a small business and by the time I am off work, sonny returns home to his family, and I wasnt able to meet with him in person. Finally I left a message with one of his fabulous employees and a few days later I received a phone call - come and pick it up!All of my pestering the employees and bugging them with asking questions didnt seem to bother anyone.Everyone involved went leagues beyond what they ever needed to just to get a guy a bottle of beer. If that isnt the coolest thing, I dont know what is.I have been a patron for a couple years, and will continue to be for many more to come.Sonny keeps some very neat finds on the shelves.Sonny, you have wonderful and kind employees, they have been so great. I look forward to meeting you to express my gratitude in person.Congratulations on the new addition to your family, also!
