The vibes were good and the dj did a good job. I like how spacious the place is as well. My boyfriend & I didn’t think our drink had much liquor in them though, they were pretty weak :/

I am an out of towner visiting from Houston, so this review is for everyone who does not live in Florida. First, I must say, this is not an upscale establishment, so if thats what you are looking for, this is not it. It is a sports bar just like it says. With that being said, the service we received from Ashley was a 10/10. Request her if you go. As soon as we walked in, she greeted us and asked, Will we be dining in? We said yes, and she said I can seat you or you can sit wherever you want. We then chose the table we wanted to sit at, because most tables were empty, and this was about 8:30. Ashley was attentive until we left, and she had such positive energy. She is seriously in my top 5 best customer service at a restaurant/bar. Something I am not used to at this type of establishment. (IYKYK).I thought it was just Ashley with excellent customer service, but Mimi was amazing as well. She was serving the table next to us, and her energy and customer service were just as amazing! So much so that I noticed her serving other customers. She even blew the whistle when she brought shots out for a girl who was celebrating her birthday next to us. This was not a bottle service. Next, the food we ordered, which was a burger, was actually top-tier. Great taste and juicy. Finally, heres some things to know: They play good music but its loud. If thats not your thing, dont come. You can sit at a table on a Friday, as long as you come before 10. Something else I am not used to. Im used to every table in the establishment being reserved and/or a 2 hour limit. They have happy hour on Friday until 10. The drinks were 2 for 1 wells and $2 off top shelf. Overall, I will be recommending Flexx to any of my friends who visit Tampa and look like me. We had a great time. Ladies, I wore flats. There were a few women with heels, but most wore sandles and/or tennis shoes. Other things to know, its free before 10. After 10, the cover charge is $10 or more. This video was taken at 11. Prior to that, it was not too crowded.

Flexx Sports Bar in Tampa, Florida, is a hidden gem, especially if youre in the mood to dance! I didnt get the chance to try the food or interact with the staff, but the DJ on Thursday night was what drew my friends and me inside while we were out in Ybor. His music selection was on point, creating an infectious energy that made it impossible not to hit the dance floor.The vibe in the bar was cool and laid-back, with a diverse crowd that added to the fun atmosphere. Theres also an outdoor patio in the back, which is a nice touch if you want to take a break from dancing and chill for a bit. All in all, it was a great spot to stop by after dinner at 7th Grove, and if youre looking for a place with a good DJ and a solid vibe, Flexx Sports Bar is definitely worth checking out!

The DJ was great. The vibes were even better! Hookah didn’t give me a headache which shocked me! The wings are A1 but the breakfast bowl needed a sauce to drizzle on it. Our host had a good personality and was attentive.the security guards were cool as well. They have a bathroom attendant which threw me off but good thing they did bc the mints & mouthwash came in clutch lmao. We were visiting from Destin & spent way too much money here lol but it was worth it! Can’t wait to come back! Officially my spot when in Tampa.

We stood in line, waited almost 30 minutes! Asked server to find us a table. Weve been here 1.5 hrs after paying for food n drink, n manager Josh or John is telling us we have to move because table was reserved. THATS NOT OUR FAULT BECAUSE YOUR SERVER WAS NEW, ONLY 2 DAYS ON THE JOB!!! SHE SHOULD BE SHADOWING SOMEONE....!!! YOU JUST LOST A FOREVER CUSTOMER, EVEN AFTER I SAID WED PAY FOR THE TABLE!!! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!@

Great place but drinks is weak , drink specials suck shot with ice 7 bucks plus tax….dj fire! Food good!

Kira was exceptional she took care of me the entire time I would recommend her to any customer that enters the bar

I went here to grab a drink with friends on a Friday night around 11 pm. I like the atmosphere. The serves were friendly and attentive. The only thing I didn’t like was how overbearing the music was inside. It seems a bit louder than most lounges. We stayed outside in the back.

I came here with family last night the dj was good and it was a nice vibe. We did run into an issue with one of the waitresses, she was rude and had poor customer service! We were apparently in a walking path for the workers and needed to move. Instead of her asking us nicely she said “ yall need to move out the way” we initially didn’t move because that’s not how you talk to or treat customers. When we didn’t move she ran off to go get someone who never came. When she came back we told her she shouldn’t speak to customers like that and she ignored us and walked around. We did move and when she saw us for the rest of the night she rolled her eyes and had a nasty look on her face. I did not catch her name but she was a short dark skin girl with thick top and bottom lashes, she also had a red bow in her hair. When being in this industry you should know how to speak to ppl and have good communication skills. She was definitely slacking and I hope she fixes it ASAP. I would go back because we had a nice time other then that but I hope to not have to run into her again.

Customer service was terrible after We spent over 500.00 at this bar and they decided to remove chairs at 10 pm. Security told us we had to stand up to finish our food and hookah. We had family visiting from Detroit and they couldnt believe the poor service. So embarrassing. Pls do better makes it very difficult to support.

$15 for 5 wings is crazy. Portions are small. Its definitely a vibe though. Pricey entry fees, on a reg night its 20 for females & 30 for males. Its pretty crammed inside. The lay out for a club is different, not alot of space. The bar is in the center so all you can do is walk around it, no dance floors. The Dj is lit though! Nice little outside area outback. 2 bars.

I love the vibe here. Very welcoming. Only negative is that it gets overcrowded. Limit should be reduced to allow a clear path of egress. This was not the case and... it was DAYTIME.Soooo.. be careful‼️ Its definitely not a bad place. But when it gets crowded.. you will want to leave. You wont be able to breathe🙄.

Flexx is one of the greatest establishments in Tampa.The food is amazing (10/10) wings ☀️🔥And they are always showing sports and games and PPV events.there is always specials going on and the DJs will make sure you get that Florida vibe if you are not from here.This is definitely a place to visit. Fire the dj he told us don’t tell us how to do his job but the music is lame now he playing back street boys remind me of 5th grade DARE “ don’t do drugs”. Food was 3 star ⭐️ no flavor shrimp and grits, now they playing something my mama would listen to i should be @ her 63 year old party 😂😂 plus, we brought a table and a 3 bottles and charge 1 of our guests an extra entry fee!!! The best service popping is our bottle girle Jo she did her thing ocd she keep the table clean management give her a bonus 💸💸💸

I visited this sports bar frequently, and for the first time, the experience was horrid. 1/27/2024, while in the bar lounging in the couch area, I was advised that because someone purchased a $125 bottle, I would have to relocate elsewhere. Mind you, I had been in the bar since 8 pm 1/26/2024 and spent over $200. The hostess and security advised me that it was company policy, but when asked to speak with a manager, he or she was never available. Again, I visited the bar frequently and was taken aback by the lack of courtesy. I could have easily flexed and purchased several bottles, but for what purpose. Customer courtesy and respect go a long way and are much more valuable than money. People nowadays dont value the most simplicity of things.

Had this post on their instagram (posted the same day 06/01) that ladies are free until 11pm on first Saturday. My home girl and I pulled up at 10:05pm and we were still charged $10 each at the door. $20 for both of us isn’t a lot but we pulled up expecting it to be free. I attended a wedding after party 4/27 some of us was in one line that was supposed to $20 an the other line was $40 it was moving quickly to get in. Then we was at the door waiting in the $20 line then ask to get in the other line that was originally was $40 line the the price went from $20- $40 to $40-$60. This was insane.

Great vibes!! DJ was great, played a little bit of everything,we didn’t eat brunch but we did have a few drinks. Kira was GREAT and very ATTENTIVE!! we would definitely come back when visiting tampa

Kira was a great waistress, ahe kept checking on us and made sure we had everything we needed. Also Sam the hookah girl was awesome, her attention to detail is amazing. She seen our table was rocky and asked if we wanted to switch to another table. I came down from Charlotte, the customer service here is amazing! I will advise all my Charlotte friends to stop by if they are in Tampa.

KIRA KIRA KIRA is all I see so I know Im not the only one who thinks she is great. She services her guest with respect and attention. So many places need a Kira working for them . Food is good better then I thought. The vibe is great only negative is I wish they creates more of a dance floor. For the money I spend I want to dance. But as long as Kira there I keep coming back

The energy is great in here. I went for brunch and I could see how this place would get lit at night but honestly the brunch was not all that. I got a mojito and it was delicious. I also ordered a waffle and it was less than good. Honestly Waffle House makes better waffles. My friend had catfish and that was pretty good. I will also say, they do not put their prices for food on their menu AND they charge an automatic 10% gratuity. Which is no problem but the gratuity was not disclosed to me, I had to find out by looking at my receipt.(payment is done through the handheld machines)Overall it was a decent experience but I feel like some minor changes could make this place better. I don’t think I’ll be returning for brunch but I might come back at night.

I’m always skeptical about trying new places but some friends suggested Flex so I went with some friends who visited from out of town. Honestly was truly a vibe when we went, our server was Julia and she was great so highly recommend asking for her. It has already been said in the group chat that we have to go back and I do agree.

So I have waited for about thirty minutes each time to get a drink and the place isn’t crowded at all… I guess no one was working on the side of the bar I was sitting on… the young man that claims to be a manager/ bartender made me a drink and just walked off… the drink is not made right and now I guess I will have to wait another thirty minutes for someone else to walk over to the side I’m sitting. Please assign your bartenders to a side so the service can be more efficient.

This club is bias. I’m ask All African American, Caucasian, Mexicans, all nationalities. Stay away from this club. I’m all about peace. If a female say you follow her to the rest room and you was sitting down. How in the hell you follow here to the restroom. You spend $400. And was put out for no reason and the own said he will take care of my bill. Then didn’t address the real problem. You were excused of something. If you been in this world for a long time and if you didn’t want to buy a lady a drink when she ask and you say no. Then who is wrong? Please support other business… boycott please. Military folks from Mcdill and other veterans please stay away. All American stay away. This is the worries experienced I ever had. Don’t go to this bar. The manager tattoos all over his body is a liar and the security guards is an African American that don’t have and skills in SG…Boycott it….D9 and HBCU, College shouldn’t go here.Everybody…. Watched lions vs san diego .Great time only issue was that we bought 500 worth in bottles and the wanted us out of vip . WE stayed but that was not classy at all.

Used to be Elmers . Old dirty dive sports bar but was way better good service atmosphere and clientele . Now its a bit frightening to go in . Very uncomfortable and uneasy feeling.
