I purchased a Yocan Evolve Plus 2020 version in azure green but when I opened the box it was Apple green. I took it back to the store & the guy said theres nothing he could do. So I asked for a manager, he said he couldnt get one. He told me to contact the manufacturer they may be able to exchange it. He couldnt swap it out because it would mess up the inventory & he didnt have the power to mess with the computer. All sales are final no refunds no exchanges. I left very angry.
I really like the staff. Their competitors at Vape Super Center (just a few doors down) acted annoyed to see a customer come through the door and one just sat on his phone the whole time. These guys are always super cool and knowledgable. Store also has a good selection.

Very disappointed with my last few experiences. I wasn’t going to be that person to leave a poor review but the repeat in bad service needs to be addressed. Went to purchase a single item before work, and upon arrival there were two other customers and one staff member. I was patient and stepped aside to give him room to continue helping the first gentleman. He then looks around and says “Give me just a second man, I’m going to help them and I’ll be right back.” And proceeds to check out the second gentleman. And then ignores me. :) this is NOT the first time I have been snubbed by the staff at this location, and I would like to know if that’s how the staff is trained- to ignore older female customers in favor of men or cute girls. It sure gives that impression when a customer has that experience several times in a row. As a sales associate myself in a small store, ignoring customers is unacceptable. Even if it’s just an acknowledgment that I’ve been waiting for his attention would have been perfectly fine! I ended up leaving without making a purchase and I recommend thinking twice before offering them your patronage.
I hate every product I have bought here. Its either made very cheaply and over charged, or the vape juice is either out of stock or the bottle say 6mg but ITS NOT. Cheapskate should be shut down
While they have a few things their prices are a big high. Not a huge selection but in a pinch you can usually find something to work with but youre definitely going to pay for the price of convenience.
Staff are generally pretty friendly and helpful. I frequently encounter issues with a product I purchase regularly - a vape cartridge - (at no fault of Black Castle, by the way - its a manufacturers issue) and theyre always really helpful and understanding about it. Sometimes the coils arent properly joined or something like that, other times the cartridge started leaking due to fluctuations in temperature. (I have very limited knowledge or understanding of how the cartridges work, if it isnt obvious.) Every single time Ive discovered a problem with one of these cartridges and returned to the store for help, they have either replaced my product with one that is functional or have refunded me for the purchase. I appreciate never feeling like I need to worry about whether Ive wasted my money on something that was broken before I purchased it and isnt refundable. Ive never had a poor experience at either the Monroe Street or Central Avenue locations.
Im not particularly critical of anywhere that I think is just your average place to go for what you need. Its a vape and glass shop that sells the same stuff every headshop sells. This location serves that purpose. I am however put off by asking for 5 star reviews in order to receive a discount.

!!!!!!!! NOTICE FOR ANY WOMEN WHO ARE THINKING OF WORKING, OR ARE CURRENTLY WORKING HERE!!!!!!I’ve worked here for quite some time and it was great until I found out I was pregnant. The more and more pregnant I got the more and more harder it was to work with the rest of the staff as they grew less understanding of the needs of a pregnant women. The management was great Kilo, Richard and Kenny were amazing. Eventually they started giving me less hours without me asking on a count of me being pregnant, which I get it they were looking out but I did not really want the less hours, I took them anyways and took my rest breaks. After harassment from some of the staff, not all, for not being able to finish drops due to some being over my weight limit, and eventually the managers not letting me work at certain locations, because I was pregnant. I finally had enough and went on maternity leave. I couldn’t stand it. I sat at home wanting to go back to work every day. with a duel income household to only a single income household it was very hard and stressful, still is. I had asked to come back and they wouldn’t allow me to work at the counters, again because I was pregnant so they put me in the back. Like I said I took what I could not minding that it was discrimination against a pregnant women and worked until I couldn’t. Now black castle is under new management and I’m trying to come off of maternity leave to what was suppose to be a promised job as provided with the law and my position is being questioned. Their exact words were “I don’t know if we’re hiring at the moment on account of new employees”. They decided newer employees were more important than the women who was on leave to take care of postpartum, the time that’s suppose to be promised to all women who are pregnant. And when I decided to stick up for myself Kenny was very rude about it. I’m not sure if I even want to continue with black castle after all this. I do not encourage any women to work at black castle glass and vape in fear you will be treated the same. We’re losing our rights as it is.
This place sold my wife a 600 dollar studenglass set up come to find out its fake... called to get a warranty set up through them and they told me its counterfeit product! Ill let you know if they decide to fix the problem or not!!!
NOT Recommended. Known for selling sub-par and Fake (Clone) Products.Very High Prices and Poor Customer Service. Often out of stock on many products.
I was in the shop today and I got help from a guy named Brandon and the service was excellent Im giving 5 stars because he was very knowledgeable about all the products and if you go there, try to go when he is working he is good.

Recording says open Sun. til 8, but you close @ 7pm. Clerk friendly, but they dont sell glass. Went to Sylvania Vape store, open til 8. Ill be back, but only for liquid & because youre closer to home (for me.)
