Great massage! I hurt a teeny bit after it was over, but it was the good kind after a massage where things get worked out. As the day wore on, I felt better and better and better. By the time evening came, I was totally pain free! It was time released! AMAZING!

My experience at this NORTHWEST MASSAGE ENVY was a disaster! We arrived 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork as requested. I had made a massage appt at least a week before. when we arrived, the ambience was hostile - the multi multi pierced guy behind the counter obviously hated his job and his customers and seemed to hate us from minute one. He did not greet us just shoved a tablet at us to complete our check in and was rude and disdainful when we did not complete everything on the tablet - I have dealt with many medical tablet check-ins and theirs was not particularly easy. Nevertheless I was looking forward to a relaxing massage which I did NOT get.The massage therapist Julissa was equally rude and dismissive and when I complained to her highness that the front office person was a little rude she cancelled my massage right there. I asked for a refund of my $80.00 (?) which I have yet to receive.Honestly, I sensed that she was lucky to have a job there as a massage therapist and was probably saved from a poor massage by her outright refusal to do my expensive massage.AVOID this massage parlor at all times and Julissa especially, unless you prefer to be treated poorly and with outright hostility by the badly trained staff and massage therapist.One star is too many

Vanessa is the best for anything skin care! I’ve been going to her for customized facials and microdermabrasions for a year or so and my skin has never looked better! The customized facials feel so luxurious and relaxing, I think I like those more than massages! Highly recommend her!

Clean facility, very comfortable and the massages are good. My appointments have been cancelled a few times the day of but I understand that things come up. Staff is super friendly and welcoming.

Choose Vanessa for facials! Why? She is extremely professional and knowledgeable. Her attention to detail is 5 star and shes very sweet as well. Dont hesitate! Book with Vanessa!;)

To date I have had 4 massages at this location with Dominic. I am an elite level athlete and require monthly maintenance massages, plus I am pregnant and need a prenatal massage therapist. Unfortunately Ive grown more disappointed with Massage Envy and Dominic with each session. The last 2 sessions I was not draped properly, the therapist did not listen to my concerns, he talked the entire duration of my massage about his personal life and the last massage lasted 37 minutes when I paid for 60 minutes (oh and I was the only client in the building for this entire time). Highly disappointed and do NOT recommend. Complaint already filed with Massage Envy. Please give me my money back and I will go away quietly.

It was a disappointment, setting myself up for what I believed was a lower extremity stretch. I went in and was led thru at home solo stretching by massage therapist. Ive had them done before and this was the worst ever experienced. Paying $80 dollars for what essentially a in person tutorial, never again.

I thoroughly enjoy my monthly facials and look forward to when my next appointment is. The facials have made an amazing difference in the texture of my complexion and helped ease lines.🥰

II have had amazing massages at Massage Envy in about 10 states! I travel a lot for work, and they are always so professional. Each therapist tries to give you the best experience possible by asking you about what you prefer and checking in throughout the process. The facials are pretty amazing too!

Stay away!!! Don’t sign a 12 month agreement. Horrible customer service and horrible message technicians. Northwest location is the worst. I would try at least 3 times before you commit to anything.

Front desk goes above and beyond to find appointments and schedule what is most convenient. They are professional, calming and warm. Lauren is an excellent massage therapist and she is a very important part of keeping me moving and at my best. Thank you massage envy at Oracle and Magee!

I have almost always had a very good 😌experience except one time and I never saw that person there again , so even though I didn’t complain about him other people may have because it worked out that he was goneI try to see Melissa. She is excellent and professional but difficult to get in with . I haven’t been in for a massage in over a year but I finally took a chance and went today. I had a young man by the name of Dominic He was very kind and friendly and was excellent at his job! I will book with him again . I was happy to find that even though I never met him before I really enjoyed the massage I received. He did not disappoint . Great place to get a massage. They got in the same day. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. I got a 60 minute massage. This place was clean and quiet. The massage therapist was good. I would use them again.

Ive been seeing Alyssa for massages consistently lately and shes fantastic! Shes been helping me address a number of issues Ive been having, so appreciative!

My first visit to Massage Envy in North Tucson (Oro Valley) was five-star! Melissa is a fantastic massage therapist, and expertly worked on the exact areas I needed. Also, the front-desk staff was wonderful. Everything from the waiting area to the rooms to the restrooms was super clean, which I so appreciated. Great communication and text reminders. I’ll be back!

Sadly, I have not had good experiences at any ME. This time, the masseuse was running late, and it was NOT the experience I was looking forward to. Just a deficient massage, not the way to start bday week😑. I noted that i would like to be contacted and never was.

Great place. Everyone treats you as if you’re the most important person at the time. Miranda has been my aesthetician for over a year now. She came highly recommended by friends and I go to her once a month and have never been disappointed. She knows her skin and has a wonderful touch!

Shanda at Massage Envy is a true professional. She listens to whats going on in your life and caters each session to how youre feeling that day. For those of you who think you need a male to do harder pressures, try Shanda and be convinced otherwise. I leave an inch taller and it feels good to not just give self care lip service but invest in myself. I travel extensively and spend alot of time on flights and in front of computers. If this is you, try 90 min with Shanda and your posture will improve 10 fold. I never even knew my shoulders could relax! Thanks again, Shanda. Highly recommend. Plus, as a bonus shes fun to chat with during the session!

My Therapist Lauren is the best!!! She is a kind hardworking professional that is dedicated to helping her clients feel their best. My back issues have been totally changed by massage therapy. As long as I keep my regular sessions I no longer have to take medication. Changed my life!

I have been a member at massage envy for many,many years. At this point, I request Edlin every time. She is the best therapist I’ve ever had at ME. She’s a great communicator. She has taught me stretches to help heal injuries and lets me know when muscles are needing extra work at home. She really knows how to de-stress my body and mind and give me a super massage. I feel so relaxed after her massages that sometimes I go out to the car and have to sit there for a while before I can drive home!

I had a full facial done by Miranda. She was extremely sweet and informative on my skin care. I found her to be a pleasant young lady that really knows what shes doing. Milissa has been wonderful. Both my husband and I have been going to her for years. My husband has begun to have health issues and a solution needed to be made. She helped me work through a solution. I met with the manager, Cee Cee who also understood the situation and worked with me for an answer to my concerns. Thank you Massage Envy for going beyond expectations. I will continue to look forward to my monthly massages.

I am a member and get facials every month with Moranda. She has done a great job with my skin. Last week she did a chemical peel and the results so far are remarkable! I will definitely be following her recommendations. I am very happy with this establishment and their service.

I felt welcomed at this office from the time I walked in the door. The lady at the desk addressed me by name, offered me water and set up more appointments. My therapist Cameron is wonderful. He has the ability to hone in on those tight spots. I feel rejuvenated! I would highly recommend this office.

I just had massage with Lauren. It was perfect. She was working on my lower back. She found all my stiff and tight spots and went through them over and over again. Im in much less pain after just one session. Place is clean, and staff really friendly. Higley recommending.

My therapist name was David. David does excellent work and I feel he has helped me in many ways. It was recommended to me and I would recommend him to others as well . on other occasions I have work with David or Carlos and both are extremely good massage therapists. I have been purchasing 3 month massages for over a year at this location. In June one of the massages expired. I didn’t receive a courtesy call to be informed when I called to schedule I was told it was expired but could be “re-activated”if I purchased more massages! Okay so my fault I purchased additional massages. Which brings me to today.. I just booked a massage I put it immediately in my reminder for 8PM. However the receptionist scheduled it for 5.. I know I would not have scheduled this time. because Mondays I am still at work at 5PM. So instead I was told I would have to pay 50% to keep the 8PM massage. I explained everything even told them I would write a poor review. they didn’t care! Don’t go to this place... they don’t work with you.. any miscommunication or lack of is the fault of the customer.

I was texted from Massage Envy’s text service for my appointment, and they canceled morning of due to emergency. That’s not why it’s a 2 star review. The person I spoke with on the phone was not able to help more than hanging up, after it seemed the person listening was too slammed to even hear any of my issues, and no apologies or recompense was made. This was for my wife who works 10 hour 6 days a week, and today is her only off day till another 6 days from now. She really needed this, and didn’t have the support from the place that booked the appointment. Shame, absolutely.

I visited their Oracle Rd location in Tucson for the first time and had a 90 minute session with Xavi- he was awesome!! He had great technique, he was intuitive, he gave me great feedback on the trouble spots to focus on, ways I could stretch and exercises to do to help those trouble areas. Ive been to several Massage Envys in other states and its usually a mixed bag... sometimes you get someone great and other times its a corporate regimented massage where they refuse to spend more time on troubled areas and have no sense or intuition to read the tissue. I would highly recommend Xavi, hes great if youre looking for deep tissue or medium massage!!

Matt is a healer!! I told him I suffer from plantar fasciitis. He focused on my feet this session. His therapeutic hands massage my soles and tendons wow what a huge difference. He rubbed the pain and ache right out my feet. I came in there limping by the end of the day I had my heels on!! I swear his massage helped!! I am so grateful for his attention to detail. He is a healer!! I hate I have to cancel my membership but he was worth every penny! Thank you for your professionalism and passion for what you do!! God bless you!!

*When calling, try to avoid calling at the top of the hour (right at 3pm for example) that is when most of the services start/end, and it always gets a little crazy for the associates checking out guests. Ive been in there before with like 15 other people coming in or leaving all at that time. It gets busy! Just shows how good of quality their therapists are!Everyone needs positive physical touch in their lives. Massage Envy is the best place to do that. All of their massage therapists and estheticians are held to very high standards of professionalism. There are roughly 40 different service providers, so there is a pressure and personality for everyone. The sales associates and management is great, they work their hardest making sure you are comfortable and feeling secure as soon as you walk into the lobby.Another great thing is that if you travel a lot, the Massage Envy membership travels with you! There are over 1,100 locations, nation wide, all accepting the membership you have. Regardless of where you signed up! Heck, they already have TWO locations in Hawaii!!I highly recommend going in and getting a massage and facial! Youll be glad you did!

Sadly my therapist did not listen to what I needed for my injuries. I asked to please not have my neck done, compressions or stretches. Unfortunately she did all of those things which hurt me by the evening. This is the second time in a row that a therapist has done the opposite of what I asked. Very confusing and disappointing. For the record, my typical therapist who is out listens perfectly! Shanda is amazing and I wish all of the therapist listened like she does.

Laura found my sources of pain and helped my tight muscles to release. Fantastic! I have less pain since my last massage. She helped make my hike into the grand canyon much more enjoyable. Very thankful

I didnt go in with high expectations, but wanted an affordable relaxation experience. I knew it was a chain with an emphasis on discount massages, and figured Id get what I paid for. What a pleasant surprise to get a quality deep tissue massage that really worked out the kinks in a clean, pleasant, relaxing environment.I really enjoyed the lavendar aroma therapy upgrade. I dont really believe in any magical claims about aroma therapy but it smelled great and was relaxing! It felt a bit frivolous but I thought it was a worthy upgrade. On the other hand, I did the sugar rub foot upgrade as well and while it was fine, it was only fine. Ive had better foot scrubs with a discount pedicure. So, I would not recommend the sugar scrub upgrade.The 5 star rating is taking into account the terrific value. If I had paid $100, it might have been a 3-4 star massage. But at under $60 for 90 minutes and a good strong massage therapist, Id call it a five star experience.

Marcus was a great massage therapist. Very professional and focused on my areas of concern.Nicki also was very professional and explained every step and product used in me facial session.

Often difficult to get the appointment day and time I want. Gets better when the winter visitors fly North. I hate the constant marketing when I call for an appointment --(What service can I book for you today? . . . How about Hello, how May I help.you?) Good news is there are some AWESOME massage therapists. And I meanAWESOME. Id tell you who I like but then theyll never be available for me!! Hint--ask for someone who does sports massage. The skin care staff seems to rotate out a lot and they seem very unseasoned/fresh out of school. Overall, good value for the money especially if your options are Miraval or Canyon Ranch!!

Love my home location of Oracle and Magee. Have been a loyal and grateful customer since 2007! Got a great facial with Miranda last night and my fav massage therapist, Clarice, is awesome! Wouldnt be able to keep on going without her. The staff is always friendly, helpful, never pushy and very accommodating. Staff is friendly, unfortunately massage therapists are not dependable. I schedule my appointments out several weeks in advance to accommodate my busy schedule and several appointments have been cancelled last minute. Location is aware that they have repeat offender staff members who constantly call in sick, but seem to not be able to resolve the issue. Its crazy to pay for a monthly service, a service that is supposed to bring you stress relief, that you cant take advantage of and only brings you stress. Unfortunately would not recommend this company with so many other more dependable options available.

I walked in for facial today with Taja at 9:55 am and by 10:32 am she was done. Im so upset, I pay a monthly membership and didnt even get my full hour. She didnt remove blackheads or anything else. I will never return to this location.

The best massage therapist I have ever found works at Massage Envy (Northwest Tucson on Oracle Rd. )Melissa is by far the best massage therapist I have ever encountered. I have not had a pain-free day since 1981. It is Melissa who has helped me to cope with this through massages roughly every two weeks over the last decade or so. She has a God-given gift, on which she has built through education and experience, giving her an amazing knowledge of human anatomy, trigger points, referred pain, reflexology, acupressure and more. If the owners of this franchise know what they are doing, they will handsomely reward Melissa for the amazing talent and genuine compassion that she brings to her practice of massage therapy. As a long-standing patient of hers, I thank God for Melissa, the best licensed massage therapist in Tucson (and far beyond)!Update: As of April 27, 2021, Melissa, LMT, continues to amaze. I limp in with a very stiff , very sore set of hips and she zeroes right in on the problem, (without ignoring the rest of the body and all of its problems). Truly a gifted therapist. Tucson and Massage Envy are so very lucky to have her. But, like many super-talented and gifted people, in my opinion, she is definitely underpaid by her employers (though she never complains). Whatever you do, Massage Envy, don’t lose this therapist. You’ll never find one like her!Update as of May 27th, 2021. Yesterday, I had perhaps the most amazing of massages to date. Afterwards I had to ask myself whether I was dreaming about having a sublime massage or whether the massage relaxed my aching body so much that I fell asleep. Perhaps it’s both. We have been packing to move and my always pain-filled body has been screaming. And yet, after the massage by Melissa Y, I felt almost normal. God bless her! Massage envy has a wonder worker on staff!

Most of the therapists are rather skilled. You can request a do not match for any therapist who does not meet your preferences or expectations.Armando at River and Danielle at Swan are strong choices.

I initially posted a review in (January on FB) this place with 5 stars, (River location) specifically recognizing Santa Maria (who is awesome). My review changed today after I was turned away from the front desk receptionist. I initially made an appointment this morning for a 4pm appointment with Santa Maria. When I arrived I was not greeted with a hello or welcome, rather the older receptionist blurted out “Are you *random name*”? I responded by providing my name and appointment time. The receptionist then stated she could not find my information and asked for the spelling of my name twice. During this time the other receptionist said she was looking as well. I then explained how I made the appointment this morning, online and had a screen shot of my confirmation. I provided this to the receptionist who took my phone and went to a back room (I’m assuming to show a manager). She then came out and said “yeah we can’t find you” and don’t have anything else today”, the other receptionist stated they have been having trouble with their online scheduling. I replied by informing both of them it was unfortunate because I took time off of work and drove 45 minutes to get there. The older receptionist said “YUP”. I was NEVER given an apology for the mistake, instead it was about making me feel like it was my fault and they did not care to fix it. As a supervisor working in Patient Service Excellence I am appalled at the lack of respect and customer service. What the other receptionist (with glasses) did offer was a card to make another appointment. I responded by stating I would decide if I would return to this location or not. The fact that a manager did not come out to apologize or even address the situation is upsetting. I have contacted the original location where I initially signed up and have requested to terminate my services.

I’ve been going to Cynthia for monthly facials for over 2 years now. She’s always extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and always takes the time to make sure your needs are met. I’ve noticed a pretty big improvement in my skin from the time I started seeing her until now.

All staff positions are professional in customer care. My body is totally relaxed with great freedom of movement following my sessions with Ray. He competently relieves tightness in muscles, ligaments and tendons without causing any pain. This freedom of movement and relief from pain is long lasting in spite of my return to daily activities.

Everyone at this Massage Envy is fantastic. Ive been going here for about three years now. In that time, Ive only had one or two massages that have been so-so. I go in every month to help manage my chronic pain, connective tissue problems, and muscle spasms. Be clear with the receptionist who books your appointment in regards to what you need from a therapist. Their recommendations have never steered me wrong. I love that I can make an emergency appointment for acute issues with very short notice (many times, I can get an appointment with someone the same day!). There have also been times when Ive had to cancel the day before, and Ive never had any problems re-booking or moving my appointment.In regards to reviews about their monthly membership charges being expensive- as someone whos gotten massages for chronic illnesses for ten years in several states and cities, Ive never found any place that is as flexible, affordable, and experienced as massage envy. A monthly fee of $49/month is NOTHING. Most massage therapy studios charge at LEAST $60/hr. And, if you need someone really specialized with lots of experience, be prepared to pay $100/hr or more. Ive heard MEs spiel about their monthly membership explained to other customers a countless number of times over the last three years, and Ive never felt that their sales pitch is unclear about what youre signing up for. This isnt a low-cost, government-run indigent care clinic, folks. This is a private business that delivers exactly what they promise. If youre choosing to not use the massages youve paid for, and you dont want them, Ill use them for you. Choosing to not use what youve paid for is not their problem- its your problem. A contract is a contract - end of story. Buyers remorse does not equate to a failure of the other party to deliver their half of the contract.One last thing- I do see a fair number of customers who tip their therapist a measly $5. (To be fair, this seems to have gone up over the year a bit.) For the service theyre providing, I think they deserve a lot more than that. Maybe thats one of the reasons why Ive always had good experiences here- I try to tip at least 20% every time Im in, based on the non-membership rate, which is still way discounted from anywhere else. Im sure these therapists could make a lot more at other clinics. Most of the therapists Ive met at Massage Envy do have a genuine desire to help people. I think they should be rewarded fairly for that.

Both my wife and I am very happy with the service Dave, Jenny, and occasionally others provide us at this Massage Envy location. The front desk is always friendly and helpful. We are regularly coming back.

This place is just ok. Most of the girls at the front desk act as if you are bothering them anytime you ask a question. If you dont book your next massage when you are leaving they give you an attitude (has happened more than once). After trying a few massage therapists I finally found a great once who actually listens and focuses on my problem areas. If they got a new front desk staff this place would definitely be a full 5 stars in my book.

Hate this place. I went and had a massage their. Had two gift cards for $50 each. I had one massage , since this was my first massage it cost $55.00 their after it is $95.00 for actually 50 min,s. If you dont,t sign a contract. Signing a contract for one year is $65.00 auto. From your visa.or c.account, use it or not. Highway robbery.

Had a massage scheduled with Dominic. He listened to my concerns with a problem area and concentrated on that area with his massage. As the session ended Dominic provided suggestions for followup care to allow me the most comfort.

Laura is my new favorite. She was worth the wait to get on her schedule. Next time 90 minutes. She was wonderful 😍.

I have been a Massage Envy member for 10 years and have been coming to the NW Tucson location for almost 9 of those years. All of the therapists are amazing, quite attentive, and have provided me with excellent deep-tissue massages over the years. Clarice is EXCEPTIONAL and I highly recommend Massage Envy!!

Went in unable to lift my arm over my head and a great deal of pain. the therapist was able to work out the knots that were plaguing me and I am now feeling much better (after a few days of soreness from the intense work she did. Thank you :)

Miranda is top rated masseuse. Allowed to relax without conversation. She asks which parts need special attention before starting. She remembers the amount of pressure I prefer.

Cynthia always knows what treatment is best for my skin, and is very informative about what the different products are beneficial for. Her technique is beyond pleasurable and I feel renewed when she is finished.

Xavi is always very professional and is always able to relieve any tension or sore muscles I might have. I have an unbelievably busy schedule, as I work FT nights at the hospital, and attend nursing school FT, as well. Much has changed for those of us in the health care field (as for EVERYONE), but I always make the time to come in for my massage with Xavi. For me, this is a MUST, and truly is the only thing I do for myself, throughout the week. Thank you Xavi!
