My husband and son went here for a few haircuts, the last haircut my husband received, they didnt do it right, so my husband went back to have it fixed properly, then the lady told my husband not to come back for any more services because he was getter by a full haircut when they were only fixing it, and they will not honor the groupons we have. I dont care for my son and husband to go back to that place, however when you provide a service, the customer has a right to have it done properly to their satisfaction. There a million and 1 other places available with much better customer services we would love to frequent.

Ive been here as a client for nails, hair, facial, you name it. None of my results were good. They didnt know I was Latina, so the whole time I was there they were talking negatively about my hair and what I asked for, and the person doing the service was literally saying they didnt know what they were doing. It showed. Place almost seems like a front.Update: The person who responded to my review is literally implying that I am making it up. For what purpose, I am not sure. To answer a few of their questions, and not take up too much more of my time with these people, read below.I never said my experience was recent, my last experience was well over a year ago. I have had all of the services I mentioned, all at different times and dates. I would never return to a place that messed up my hair, to get my hair done again; but, I went back thinking maybe the nail techs know what they are doing, nope. Then went back for a facial, not good. I think I even went back and tried a hair cut after the botched hair dye incident; if I find pictures of my orange horrible hair dye ordeal I will update again with that. Every time I went back, it was months after, maybe even more. I guess I thought, new students, maybe new management, why not try a different service. I am super frugal and always trying to pinch pennies. I have learned my lesson that on some things you cant be cheap lol... as for the other review at the same time, yes I reviewed Empire Beauty School very positively moments after reviewing this location; because I was looking into a school for my niece to go to locally and while I was on the google page, I remembered my experiences with both places. I have zero ties to Empire or Latin Beauty schools, just a consumer who has used both of their services. I know how important reviews are for myself as a consumer to look into before using a service, so I thought I should leave the reviews. I am not lying about my experience at this school, I have no reason to or gain from it. What I said happened, happened.

As a first time client , I was a bit skeptical about a student cutting my hair, however i do believe everyone deserves a chance. From the moment I entered I was greeted and made to feel comfortable .even though my Spanish is rusty it was a smooth transition. I was assigned a barber named Jose . I was impressed by his professional demeanor and attention to what the customer wants. Eventhough he was young enough to be my grandson 🤣🤣 . His talent was all grown-up 💯🔥💯🔥 Everyone I meet since cant stop complimenting my cut . I gotta say it is the best cut in 20 plus years . Jose you got a new customer FO SHO . Latin Beauty Academy ..keep producing winners . JOSE..Ill Holla.I almost forgot to say thanks for the Cuban coffee ☕.

I visit here regularly for manicures, pedicures and facials and am very happy with their excellent services. Highly recommended

I had a Groupon for a deep treatment and haircut. I was also given the option to add a pedicure of facial for free, and I picked a pedicure. All three ladies were thorough and took their time to make sure that everything was just right.edit 8/15: I have a Groupon for a European facial that I have tried to schedule twice. It is expiring 9/8, and I sent a message on the website trying the schedule a third time. I am not sure why there is an option to message on the website since no one replies. I made an appointment and went in for it 8/17. The receptionist was a bit rude when I marked used before showing her the Groupon. She could have been nicer. The facial was relaxing except for the noise level of people talking around me.

My husband recently gifted me with a Groupon for a treatment, scalp massage and a haircut, and I finally had an appointment with them last week in the morning.The place was packed with students and a few customers: it is definitely way too small for that many people, and looks very chaotic and disorganized (and this is the reason for my rating).I was however happy with the service: Rosy (the hairdresser I was assigned to) did a really good job, everybody is friendly, it’s nice to see the camaraderie among the students, and the teachers keep going from one student to another to check on their work and/or intervene for more difficult tasks.Prices are similar or cheaper to the ones of Kool Cuts.I will definitely consider them again for my haircuts.

First time customer. I went in for a facial and was treat great. Super service. The specialist took her time and also explained everything she was doing. Will definitely return.

The best of the best! Staff are professional, knowledgeable, and provide exemplary and super, reasonably-priced services. Ariel is a hands-on owner, takes pride in his business, and makes you feel like you are family. Nelly is an outstanding teacher, too! Pamper yourself! You would be crazy to go anywhere else. I’m currently barber student and I appreciate how the teachers and the school try their hardest to show us how to do our things, Paul the barber teacher knows what he’s doing and he’s shows you the right way how to paint hair and cut male and female hair. The school have a great structure and communication with their students.

Hello my name is angelica and I came in today and I got a balayge and it was great! But, I have some light blonde parts....but the rest was good. They did a good job and they were super nice! There was only one problem, there was light blonde in some parts of my hair and thats all.. I liked everything else thank you:)

I am currently studying at this school, I like it a lot, I really enjoy my days there learning, the director, the receptionist, everyone is very friendly, I started with nail classes since I took the full specialist degree, and my teacher is called Arasaí She is super patient, she takes the time to explain to you, she is super good at doing what she does apart from her 25 years of experience in the subject and who better to teach you than a person with so much experience, the truth is my experience here has been very very good, when I finish this specialty my husband will also enter here to study and then I will return to be a full cosmetologist, do not be influenced by the bad comments, this school is really very clean, and even before us students and teachers leave if we have made a mess something, we clean it, we organize it and then we leave,They speak English and Spanish.Every time we are doing a service for someone who comes to school, the teachers are ready to help you and solve if something is not right, they would never let a client go home with something wrong.
