Great service, drinks, and people. Always a great time!

This is a fun bar and grill that features bands mostly from Kansas and local Wichita bands. The owner is awesome and always greets us. We like the live music and glad that they finally get to have bands playing again. You can check out Wichita 360 to see which bands are playing. They are always pretty good and they have a great variety of music.

Came for Taco Tuesday. Was very good and staff friendly. Will definitely be back.

Used to be a great chill dive bar. Lots of locals used to come here. New ownerships advertising as a club = more shoot outs, bar tender rude, drinks not .ade correctly. Diffently wouldnt recommend this place anymore.

New owners are terrible people. If you want your wife to get her shirt taken off and exposed then this is a great place to be! Rudest people I’ve ever dealt with in the bar scene. Avoid this place

Great music, friendly environment, relaxed atmosphere during the day and a lively party setting at night complete with a stage and live bands. Serving East Wichita, KS since the 70s.

Had an amazing time! We loved the live music and the staff was amazing! Well definitely be coming back! Annie up was the band playing that night and we they are highly recommended as well. We cant wait to see them again!

This has got to be one of my my top 3 bars in Wichita. The atmosphere is great. Live music, karaoke, nice drinks, you can find nice people to have a good conversation. Strategically located. Good place overall.

First New years in Wichita! This place fit us perfect. Great band, fun owners that made sure we enjoyed ourselves. Wait staff handled the crowd amazing. Cant wait to see what a weekend is like. Thanks for a great start to my New years!!

Awesome live music! Loved Hijinx! The Port has a good dance floor. The bar tenders are great, will remember you and they make good drinks. Four pool tables, so you dont have to wait all night to play. Overall a good place to have a fun night.

We were there 5-14-16 and they had a live band which was great!! However the staff was really rude! The bartenders had horrible attitudes all night and the DJ was an ass to the band just because they played a drum solo. If I was that band Id never book another gig there again!! I felt obligated to apologize to the band for the way the DJ treated them and gave them a different location they could go and feel welcome!! Wont be going back to The Port!!

Ive been coming here on and off for the last couple of years... more off than on though, to be honest. But almost everytime.. service is a little slow to start but by my second or third drink.. Great times are had by all that come with me. Drinks are poured with experience and the food has always been good! Happy hour is where it is at! I havent been there when a music group is playing but I think their setup would make it a Groovy time. Definitely a valuable hidden gem the locals have there. Ill be back very soon!

Was very disappointed with the service. The bar tender Tara was very rude and only paid attention to the costumers she knew. I only had one drink and had to wait for her to have a 15 minute conversation (gossiping about south rock) with others before I could finally get her attention, at that point I was over it and just wanted to tab out and leave. 0/10 do not recommend.

Was SO hopeful and excited when I heard someone had reopened The Port. I went in to check it out and was immediately horrified by how they were attempting to run everything. I still wanted to try and be a part of their team because I love the regulars and The Port in general. I made it one evening and was insulted by the owner in front of customers within hours of clocking in. Nonetheless I was not discouraged although their entire system causes customers to have to wait and makes any wait staff or bartenders look incompetent.I started my second shift clinging on to the smallest amount of hope that they would be able to pull it together. 30 min in to that shift Mike (one of the owners) decided it would be the most professional decision to loudly have a conversation which would inevitably end in me quitting in front of some of the ONLY customers in the building. Obviously, Im overall disappointed in everyone and everything about this place I once held so near and dear.

Went in after the lunch rush. Was greeted by the bartender, a very sweet woman. Suggested the margarita special, and when asked suggested the Italian sub. Sandwich was very good (although next time, Ill ask it to be heated as it is served as a cold sandwich) and french fries were very fresh and crispy, not oily. Will definitely be going back! Glad to see this Wichita Institution, back up and running!

My regular bartender is awesome, but the owners need a little more understanding as far as running an establishment like this. Need better drink specials, better staffing, better event scheduling. Otherwise, the place is great.

The Port of Wichita just reopened recently. We went for Saturday night Karaoke. Bob Alison was the DJ for the karaoke and he did an amazing job! We had a lot of fun! If you haven’t gone recently you should go check it out.

Admittedly, Im not much of a bar person, but I do have to say this has a cozy feeling despite being fairly large in space. Much of thats probably attributable to the sunken dance floor in front of the stage. Because of that , theres a large railing that stretches around and helps give the place it nautical appearance, along with the drag line and other decorations. It is still a bar, but does get an above average rating because it is actually trying. Im not sure if the sound is permanent,or if it was provided by the band, but I can say it sounded quite nice; The shape surely helps it not sound like a cement echo chamber, a common problem amongst the typical bar.

Cool atmosphere looks like a great setup for a club with pool tables, dance floor, and a stage. The bar is a ship which is really neat and the bartenders really nice. Food is typical bar food but the lunch service is super fast!

Love this spot. It’s a locals delight so one might feel a bit out of place if not a regular. But don’t let that deter you from going, the patrons and the regulars are pretty chill and welcomIng. Sara and Tera rock!Zippy

Love Taco Tuesday ! A lot of good for little $$. They also had a ramp, so I and other people in wheelchairs can join the fun. Will be going back either Friday or Saturday for karaoke.

There for a friends birthday. It was okay at 1st but its not a big place and the later it got the more packed it got and the service got slower, the waitresses were struggling to keep up. Also, a friends truck was broken into shile sitting in the parking lot so no security.

Im one of the bartenders, and I couldnt be happier to be working for the nicest, most amazing new owners mike, and Nancy. We all want nothing more then to provide a good, fun, environment for people to come and enjoy life at.

Good tasting burger and fries. Also served nice cold beer. The only downside was service was slow, but they were crowded because they had a live band playing.

Located at Harry and Webb in Wicbita across from QT. Nice place, nice people. very clean. smoking outside on patio. friendly service. We didnt have food but they have a kitchen. The drinks were tasty. There was no live music or karaoke on a Sunday as advertised but the atmosphere was pleasant and it was a beautiful night to be outside. Plenty of parking.

Friendly, fair prices, good food, appropriate volume of music for the type, & for the activities advertised for the particular evening. I would enjoy going back.Easy to get to, and easy parking.

Nice bartender. Prompt service. Passable band. Kind of empty for a Thursday night. Decent burger. Good beer. Fair price.

They have a poker league tournament there every Monday and Wednesday at 7 in 10 and the owner even participates the waitresses there are very nice and hard-working everyone there is very friendly

Ive been here 3 times because it was recommended as a good Friday night evening full of entertainment. Not been my experience going to try again in a few weeks.

Worst LIT Ive ever tasted. Service staff are kind and friendly, but far from fast.Live music (house band) was live-ish, and music-ish.

Server was inattentive. $5 cover charge at a dead bar on a Saturday night. Drinks were good though.

Absolutely horrid. Cant wait til they close down so something worth it takes their place. Owners have a combined IQ of 6. Dont waste your time.

The bartender puts her fingers in the cups and pushes the straw down at the top you drink from with her fingers never seen her wash her hands or sanitize after touching money just gross

Unaware they were re opened and decided to drop in for The Banned when we found out. Venue is the same ol Port. Bar service was absolutely horrendous. Ignored. Slow service. Orders forgotten.

Free poker on Mondays and Wednesdays starting at 7 P. M.

The bar has 10-15 regulars.. be ready for a warm beer and a cold shoulder. Not joking

Great old sports bar. I first went to the Port 40 years ago.

There was a posting for a band, yet no band and at 10:00pm the place wasnt that busy, yet we seemed to be an inconvenience to the bar staff.

It was clean drink was well made has smoking outside.

The staff is very friendly. I always have a great time when I go here.
