We stayed in a 4-bedroom condo that fit our family of 10. It is right off the main drag and was absolutely lovely. We felt it could have been a bit cleaner (the main king size bed comforter had stains all over it and there were dead bugs). Not a deal breaker for us for the location. The outdoor pool was fantastic and Noahs Ark tickets were included!
My fiance and I were looking for a place to stay near Devils Lake. We didnt know the area so took a gamble. This property was awesome. It was right on Lake Delton, so we were able to enjoy the water and paddleboard. We just walked out the patio door.It was quiet!! The building was quiet. It was away from the hustle and bustle of Wisconsin Dells. The room itself was great! It was very spacious.I liked the small refrigerator and microwave. This property would be great for a single person, couple, or family to stay in.We will definitely be going back.
Amazing location but needs improvement. First, our room keys did not work when we arrived, went back to office for new keys and still did not work. We called the office and the lady was laughing at our situation, then got an attitude when we asked how this would be fixed. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the power went out while we were there. Called Vacasa and told them the situation, said they would submit a refund request and never heard anything. Not as nice as it should be for the price
We have stayed at the Delton Grand every time we take a vacation to the Dells. Usually a great room and lots of fun. NOT this time!😢 The fire alarm was going off all night and we didnt get any sleep at all...when we asked for a refund for the night, the manager said there was nothing they could do about it. Management was very rude and swearing at us. Police were called by management unnecessarily and solved nothing! After one hour of arguing, we were told that we would be reimbursed...nothing yet😡 Guess we will have to find another place to go.
We had a beautiful room with a balcony over looking the lake. The room itself was huge, the extra high ceilings makes it feel even bigger. They have a curved TV which just adds to the room. The sliding door is perfect and if you are up early enough the sunset is gorgeous. Beach and pools were very private and nice. Walking distance to Noah’s ark was also perfect. It is located within 5 minutes of everything we needed.
Although we stayed in early March, I can definitely say it would be worth going back in the summer! The room was so cozy, and spacious. The whirlpool tub was amazing, and made me never want to leave the room. The massage shower was also phenomenal.Overall, we didnt leave our room much other than to go out for food, and also for a nice walk by the lake (which is right outside the patio door). It was a fantastic stay, and I will definitely be returning!
Let me be clear, I really was excited about my visit only to be extremely disappointed. There were holes in the wall. The shower didnt work and the cable in one of the bedrooms didnt work. I called the front desk who stated that the project manager would come to check it out. An entire day passed and I had to call again. He finally came, walked in looked at the cable box and said it was outdated and the unit owner should have changed it. Nothing else was done. My kids had no television in the room for the entire trip.
Such friendly customer service in the office, a beautiful, clean, and comfortable room (we love the surprise of not knowing which themed jacuzzi room we would get - ended up loving our room, very peaceful), and incredible view of lake delton from our screen door. The small beach and provided lounge chairs were a pleasant unexpected bonus, just a quick set of stairs from our room. Such a lovely stay - would highly recommend for anyone looking for a romantic, fun, comfortable getaway. The tub was also larger than in other jacuzzi rooms we have tried, which was so nice. The tub settings for jet bubbles were a little tricky to figure out as some buttons had worn off (maybe a short informational guide could be provided in the room?) but it was a very minor inconvenience.
My stay was incredible. At first I was a little apprehensive about privacy for my boyfriend and I But after speaking with the front desk and her assuring me that the 1st floor was private we were on our way and the young lady picked the perfect 1 bdrm suite !!!!! Ours wasn’t themed but I’d didn’t matter. The A/C worked, it was fully equipped with silverware and towels, the bed was clean and comfortable, the bathroom was spotless. The Wi-Fi was working and there was more than one tv The views of the lake were amazing and it’s close to everything in the Dells. There’s so much to do so having a place to retreat that’s comfortable is important.I’m coming back and requesting the same room. It was that awesome
The room was clean and comfortable. The service and noise level was not acceptable.I made a reservation a month in advance and the person was helpful to MAKE the reservation. She blocked a room on the end of the hallway because I requested a quiet room. The day of arrival, I had not received confirmation info, so I called. They moved my room to the middle of the hallway without notifying me. The night of arrival, the office was closed (at 8pm and plane was late) so I had to go through a hassle to get into the room. That night, the room next door played loud music from 11pm to 2am. There was no contact info to notify anyone (not very safe). In addition, the room on the other side had a big dog who barked. This place is not quiet and they dont enforce the stated quiet hours. The loud music continued a second night, along with the barking dog. The third day, the people below my room SCREAMED to their kids from the room to the beach area. SCREAMED! For over an hour. The service stopped at reservation. Theyre happy to get your money but dont provide service. I asked from a box of kleenex, and was told by four different people throughout two days, that they would get me kleenex. It never arrived. The room itself was clean and nice. I truly wish I could have enjoyed it without constant noise. This distracted from the lovely setting.
I found this place surfing Google and YouTube, I brought my wife here for her birthday and stayed 2 days. Our experience was overall good. The indoor pool was under construction so we couldnt use it I wanted my wife to experience the spa treatment I was told the spa had been down since covid I stayed here in September of 2023 the covid excuse seemed weak. We stayed in the King lakeview suite with full kitchen included which came in handy with dishes, coffee pot, stove and fridge with an excellent view of Lake Delton. The couch was small and felt cheap, the bed was very firm and was not comfortable for us.Overall I give the room a 3.7 there was not much for service this is more of an Airbnb style situation you check in at the front office and get directions to your condo/Apartment. The location is 5 stars 🌟 you are 5mins- 10mins from everything.
We really enjoyed our stay in a spacious one-bedroom lakeview condo. Stay was spontaneous due to very hot weather and AC being out in our house and needing a new on installed. Staff was very welcoming at check in, remembered why we were coming. Comfortable surroundings, great shower, beautiful sunrises, nice private beach and pier. Could have used larger coffee cups and a better stocked kitchen and an outdoor grill that worked but were very happy overall.
Horrible customer service. They are not willing to work with you on cancellations/refunds if you go through third parties; even if your wife has an unexpected high risk pregnancy. They will repeatedly lie to you about who is in charge/on site and will run you in circles always saying its out of their control. I was told on four occasions that someone would contact me. The only call back I received was on the day of my booked asking if I was going to check in!Of the 9 hotels I had to cancel on my trip, this is the only one who did not negotiate. When I do inevitably take this family road trip, I’ll be sure to book all of the same locations except for this one.
Easily one of the best places to stay. Not only are reception desk full of the nicest and most charismatic people, the room is quiet. The whirlpool of amazing and the view is stunning. Highly recommend!!
Views.. beautiful... Location.. very nice.. Service... ask alot of questions..could not lock sliding patio door to outside .. called.. no response.. late check in time at 4:00 pm.. couldnt get into room til 5:00 pm.. thats not acceptable... took a full day to get a bag of ice from service desk.. no ice machine in building..could not change thermostat temp.. called front desk,.. no one responded.. warm in room for two days..
Room #415 is a total pass. We love this resort for their lakefront view, bonfires, pools, and overall lovely, relaxing ambiance. We have been before and had an amazing time. Do not stay in Room 415. When we arrived, the room reeked of cigarette smoke. There was a grease spill on the kitchen floor that we had to clean from the previous tenants. There are strange blue stains on the living room carpet as well. We tried to bake breakfast in the morning and the oven door legitimately fell apart in 4 places when I tried to open the oven. We had to call maintenance to repair it. Later tried using the hair dryer and it immediately started smoking with sparks and shut off. Again, room looks beautiful, but needs a total upgrade if people are paying upwards of $600 for a weekend. Will not stay in that room again, but hope to stay in another room, since I enjoy their amenities overall. Customer service is great.
The room was not clean. I’m not sure if housekeeping even came even though they advertise as having high cleaning standards and practices with COVID. The dishwasher was full of dirty dishes the comforter was stained and there was change on the floor. The blinds had many panels missing as well. The upstairs neighbors were also blasting music late into the night and no one answered the number to call with issues. They tried to charge us for erroneous charges and was overpriced to begin with. My relative stayed in a villa next door and the room smelled of weed and the tv was on when he arrived. The layout and building and furniture was gorgeous along with the views and furniture. Great location as well!
We had a small group of us stay at the resort on New Years Eve. Thinking that we would have a nice new year but not turning out what we expected. We advised Valerie from the front desk on the extremely slippery parking lot after our daughter fell and hurt her arm, we asked if the parking lot could be salted or if we can get salt and we can do salt ourselves, she advised us that she would have the manager contact us, no one ever contacted us. As we left we assured that the suite was completely clean by washing the dishes that were used and making sure that all the garbage was thrown in the dumpster. We received our credit card statement and noticed that we had $150 charge, we contacted the resort and the person who answered mentioned that the deposit should have been returned but will have a manager contact us. We waited on a call and never received one so we called back and finally was able to talk to the manager named Rick. We explained the situation and he said that the $150 was due to cleaning the room, we told him that we cleaned the room and he said he was told that they found crumbs in the couches, we told explained to him exactly what we cleaned and he said that it wasn’t clean enough. I explained that crumbs are something that can be vacuumed but we didn’t have a vacuum and were unaware that we needed to vacuum crumbs. He rudely said that room needs to be cleaned. When asked about salting and the accident my daughter he dismissed the situation by saying that we were suppose to report it, we told him that Valerie told us that he would be contacting us . She never did. He also said that he had pictures of the room we asked for him to send us the pictures and he immediately hung up the phone. To anyone is planning to stay we warn you of extremely rude staff and lookout for your deposit. I would bring your vacuum with just in case you drop crumbs. Not a good start to the New Years with this resort.
We are a group of 4 adults and 2 kids and we got the 3 bedroom condo with lake view. The room is very spacious, clean and has very nice equipment and amenities. The master bedroom is huge with a bathroom with nice bath tub. Everyone has room to relax in the open living room and dining room.
My family and I stayed here for 3 nights and overall enjoyed our stay for the most part.Pros: The lake view 1 bedroom suite was amazing. We woke up to an amazing sunrise everyday. We enjoyed watching the boats and Jet skis. The suite was clean and the 3 head shower was the 2nd best thing after our view. You get a wristbands to enter Noahs ark waterpark for the duration of your stay. The kids had a blast.Cons: The oven didnt cook our food well. It would get hot but not actually cook the food. There was no gym at this resort, but we were able to make up for it by running outside and working out in the parking lot. We enjoyed the outdoors so it wasnt a complete fail. The customer service needs some serious work. This place had potential to be 5 stars, had the staff and management been better. We had to use the same towels for 2 nights. We consistently had to ask for more towels that never came. We were advised house keeping would bring them over each day we asked and NOTHING. It wasnt until I walked over to the office on our last night, that we were told we had to put dirty towels outside the door to receive new ones. We received no clear instructions and it was extremely frustrating. The lady at the front desk ended up giving me pool towels because it was too late for house keeping. She said she just found out the day before this was apparently a rule, and management was hung up on the technicality of this rule. There was another lady at the front that said nothing to assist with our frustration and barely ever made eye contact. You should be more cognizant of your customers experience. We dont just come for the location, we come for the experience! Please do better. We paid way too much money to not receive good customer service. This property is 1 star for that alone.
Stayed 1-night on 1/21/23 ($180 with taxes). (No Spa anymore) Check in at the office and then drive to your unstaffed building. Pool is small, back at the office. Room wasnt real clean. Leftover stains from things never wiped up, etc. Outdated, furniture beat up, stone sink so old and worn that it had holes worn in where the water runs on it. Out of ice. Had to sign three different times saying we would pay $250 if the smoke alarm goes off. Dont know whats up with that, no stove in the room. Would not stay again.
Where do I start??I agree with all of the negative comments, with the exception of the office staff, especially Pam, they were great!I just finished a 5 night stay at the Delton not so Grand. When we checked in, our tile floor was very wet and the unit reeked of Pinesol. Since the floor was so wet and tile gets slippery, my wife grabbed a towel to dry it. The towel came out black. We called the office and they sent a man back to redo the floor. However he argued with my wife about why he needed to do it again since it was just done.We then discovered that our fully stocked kitchen had no coffee maker. I called again and was sent a Black and Decker machine with a Mr. Coffee pot. Very classy! After three days we attempted to do laundry. We put in the clothes and money and nothing happened! The machine did not work. Finally you are told to load and run the dishwasher before you leave, and empty the garbage. Well, you guessed it, the dishwasher did not work. Also if I wanted to be responsible for taking out the trash,I could stay home! The property and views are beautiful. It is such a shame that the owners and management team dont take any pride in keeping the units up.If you want a relaxing stress free vacation in the Dells, stay away from this place!!
My husband and I stayed in condo 430 for an extended stay. This condo is beautifully decorated and cozy. Amazing view of Lake Delton. Loved the great walk in shower with the bench. Kitchen had what you needed for a couple to make complete meals. Really appreciated full size appliances. The king bed was amazing and very comfortable . Nice fireplace in living room. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
Please anyone who reads this review. DO NOT RESERVE YOUR ROOM HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT BLOWING YOUR MONEY. Other reviews state that the views are spectacular and believe me they are. But if you want a room that is filled with cobwebs, patio doors that dont have window blinds, tvs that have a black spots on the side of the screen that will pop in and pop out of picture. And dont ask about housekeeping or towels because you wont get either. The people at the desk are quick to.point out all of the things you will be charged for but never receptive to help with anything else. Your room will have broken furniture and light bulbs missing.
My bf and I visited the resort over the weekend and stayed in a lakeview condo…Everything was nice and clean and pretty well stocked I would definitely recommend. The scenery was nice and calming and the lake view was beautiful.. Would have been 5 stars but I feel check out times were a bit off and it would be helpful to have a detailed list of whats provided in your stay such as towels, cleaning items,etc..So that way you won’t have to guess or bring unnecessary things
We were there with the Wisconsin Chimney Sweep guild and it was perfect. we didnt get to spend enough time in the room but I loved it.y only hiccup is I wish the pull out coach had a little more padding. But I was able to make a Very comfy bed out of the cushions and pillows. Big Plus was the shower.....OMG.... AMAZING. great pressure, can control temp of water - 120°water is amazing for dry hair well mine at least. - I could have stayed in there for hours . The showers heads, yes heads, there were 3 are perfect for all sizes of people. Im 55 and my dad is 6 neither of us had to adjust the heads to get clean which is again amazing.
The view of the lake was outstanding! There was also a heated outside pool, kayaking, grills and a bonfire. The resort is older with small, compact studio, hotel rooms....... We expected more for the price. QThe staff was very friendly and helpful. The downside was that the main light inside the room was not working so we were given a lamp. You have to specifically ask for the silverware, pots and pans for cooking due to COVID
This is a beautiful spot on the lake, with absolutely amazing rooms to stay in. We had 3 different TVs with Direct TV, and everything was amazingly clean and well taken care for. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars were the owners. While you will not meet them, they have very definitive rules you must follow. Youre required to also clean out all trash and fully clean all dishes -- something I would have expected as a part of the exorbitant price. Overall, very happy!
The check in was great. Very nice lady was very helpful. When we got to our room it looked great but soon after we found quite a few issues. The bed was extremely old and not comfortable one bit, very worn in. After we got back from dinner we found that our fridge was at 74 degrees when it was set to 39. So we took everything out of the fridge and wanted to go find ice. When I got my ice bucket there was dirty water in the bucket. Woke up the next morning and wanted to make some coffee, but no coffee was available in the room. Yes we could have called and probably gotten some from front desk but find it inconvenient that I would have to drive to the front desk to receive the coffee. Overall I don’t believe we will go back for how much money this room costed us.
Its over priced and one of the oddest stays Ive ever had. The views are beautiful however you have to take out your own trash, and deal with your own towels. We booked a room only to have the hot tub not work. We called the office and they sent us to go hunt for a breaker box. They did eventually give us a different room however it was full of oddly used bargain furniture and had a ton of light switches that didnt do anything. We wont be back.
Diamond in the ruff!! Amazing 1-4 bedroom condos for a super reasonable price. Only minutes from from Kalahari and other venues and activities in Wisconsin dells. The views of Lake Delton are stunning. Its very private and personal, clean and relaxing. Would definitely recommend highly for anyone from families to couples.
We stayed in Unit 423. It was clean so that was a plus. However the air conditioning did not work well at all. And the ceiling fan sounded like it was going to fall off as it clamored around loudly banging. It was difficult to sleep with the loud banging of the fan but even more difficult to sleep in the 77゚ temperature. We stayed 3 nights and continuously called about the issues. They told us over and over again that they would send a maintenance person over or that they would get with the manager and take care of us. However no one ever contacted us or sent anyone to help us out. They literally lied multiple times. Our Room does have a nice view of the Lake but we will never be back. We have 2 teenagers that tried to sleep on the pull out couch but it was the worst pull out on the planet. All you could feel were the 2 bars digging into your body so they slept on the floor. The people in the office Either do not care at all, or they are not supported by management or maintenance folks.
Well not going to lie I was pretty disappointed at what we got for the price we paid. The room was nice and all but thats all you get is the room. First off the indoor pool is not connected to any building besides the office. So if you want to go swimming you have to walk or drive there, which is not what you really want to do in the dead of winter. The room itself came up short also. The jacuzzi tub is only big enough to comfortably fit one person, also not what I was looking for while on a vacation with my wife. There was also no telephone or list of the amenities the spa provides. Furthermore the chair in front of the bathroom vanity had a broken leg as did ironing board. The bed was way comfy tho. Lastly would have been nice to have a place to put all my clothes instead of living out of my suitcase all weekend.
Overall this is a nice facility with nicely designed and laid out condos (villas) but the maintenance is lacking. Master bath toilet didnt flush, one dining room chair was missing, coffee pot was missing, among other things. Cable didnt work and the front desk wasnt much help to fix it. We had to rely on Google searches and phone calls to fix it ourselves. On top of that, we paid for a two bedroom villa with 2 master bedroom as we were staying with another couple. Upon check in we were told the 2 bedroom was no longer available and they put us in a 3 bedroom. We thought it was an upgrade but it was not. The 2 extra bedrooms were basically kids rooms or for single adults, unless you and your spouse prefer to sleep in separate beds. It made for an awkward weekend because neither of us wanted to make the other couple sleep in the bedrooms with the small beds. Ive been to a lot of resorts around the country and this one needs some attention in the management department. With a little attention to detail, this could be a 5 star resort, but our experience from our memorial day weekend stay was far from 5 stars and not worth even half of what we paid to stay there.
Room was clean, beautiful, smelled clean. Fiance brought me here for some peace.. It was exactly what I needed. Very stress relieving, peaceful, the beautiful lake view. I loved being able to drink some coffee on the patio with nothing but birds chirping. Will definitely be back
We stay here quite regularly. Its the off-season, so staffing is likely challenged. We werent able to get into our room until notably after 4:00pm. But once in, the stay was fine. Our unit had some notable deferred maintenance in the bathroom, but wasnt a problem. Overall, the price was ideal and the pool was warm. It was definitely worth it staying here again.
No good kitchen utensils to cook with no good pans to cook with, and they messed up are stay they didnt communicate with each other, we had to hurry up and pack up to get out because they over booked the room. The room we were supposed to get was dirty so they put us in a smaller room and tried to make us stay there. The sheets didnt fit the bed, tv didnt work in bed room so it wasnt relaxing at all I will never book through booking dot. com because you never know what your going to get. they took to much money out of my account. For the terrible stay that I had I want my money back . We try calling booking .Com could get through. My first experience with them never again, people just dont care any more and there is no professionals hardly anymore they really need to return my money both parties, because Im at a lost
We did have a small mix up on our room when we arrived, but front desk was great, resolved quickly, and upgraded us. Room is amazing with lake view, massage shower (best ever), comfy bed, large TVs, kitchenette. No room service that I can tell, not sure if that is expected. Great stay.
Stayed for one night in the Italian Renaissance room for our anniversary. The room was Beautiful! Everything was just a little higher end even the bedding was extra soft! The view of Lake Delton was breathtaking. The hotel/condos were very quiet and private, We felt like we were the only ones there. At first I thought the Vit.C shower filter was just a gimmick but I swear my skin stopped being itchy and irritated and my hair never felt so soft! Im so pleasantly surprised that Ive decided to get one for our shower at home! The only reason I am giving 4 out of 5 stars is because we couldnt get the in room spa tub water hot enough and the warm water we did get didnt stay warm very long but the tub itself was very nice. Also said HBO was in the room but it wasnt. Overall, we will definitely be coming back and may try one of the other themed rooms.
Me and my husband came here for 1 day and it was amazing. Let me say I reserved a 2 bedroom courtyard it was way to small for me so I went back to the office and staff was able to get me in a 3 bedroom lakefront unit which they still offered a discount because I previously stayed with them. The moment I walked in I felt so relaxed, it was so spacious just like I liked, the master bedroom was awesome, the bathroom was huge with a soaker tub. The master bedroom view was amazing. I cannot wait to get back and stay for at least 3 full days to relax. Hopefully we can come the week of thanksgiving if we can find a good discount this will be a perfect spot. I have been here 3 times in 3 different units which all have been exceptional. There was 1 negative thing but it was small but worth mentioning, the carpet in the unit was getting a little worn and needs a little cleaning, other than that it was amazing.
Urine was on the sheets in the master bedroom, TV was not working and staff did nothing to fix it or compensate me in any type of way. Overall, it was a horrible experience. And a staff member had the nerve to tell me they double charged me for cleaning I took pics before I left and have evidence of no damages to the property just had to be clean because that what you’re suppose to do after each visitor last time l checked.
Not far from the main strip. Very nice rooms. Big bed and really nice shower. Had room with kitchen that had most appliances. Fridge, stove, dishwasher, garbage disposal, coffee maker, microwave, and toaster.
Was really disappointed. We stayed there last year and it was wonderful. Everytime our 9 month old crawled on the floor his feet were black. The bathtub wouldnt hold water for the kids to take a bath. I asked twice to have it fixed and nobody ever came to fix it. The whirlpool in the master bath was missing the cover and you couldnt tell what to push to make it work. The light switches were kind of hanging out. Light bulbs werent working. The parking was terrible theres so many poles to try to park around and if people dont get in the right spot you cant find a place to park. Maybe I wouldnt be quite so picky if it wasnt $2, 100 for three nights. I think the maintenance man needs to step up. In one bedroom the plug in was black as though it it shot out fire, definitely did not want to use that plug in. I was really disappointed this time. For the cost they need to step up.
I recommend avoiding unit 314. (The other penthouse, 313, was not available for our family reunion dates, so I was glad to be able to reserve 314. I had seen 313, and it was beautiful.)314, the unit we did secure, is described as shabby chic. VERY shabby, not at all chic. The dishwasher required two visits from maintenance because it literally fell forward out of the cabinet. One of these surprise pitch forwards resulted in my shin being gouged by the corner of the door. It is healing nicely. (Overall there were five visits/interruptions from maintenance during our six day visit. Sometimes something was actually fixed; sometimes there was measurement taken for a future remedy. Each time we either needed to stay in or give permission for a stranger to enter the unit if we would be gone.) One has to wonder why a unit with this many challenges would be rented in such a repair-needy condition. The pots and pans have lost all their Teflon and are dangerous to use. Only one cooking utensil has a matching lid. There were seven forks total for ten guests. Nothing even remotely matched, and most kitchen amenities looked like garage sale items. I did appreciate having plentiful towels (which I washed before leaving) and laundry/dishwasher detergent. One of the deck doors cant be locked. The microwave prompts dont work because the dial is not functioning (which was verified by a call to GE), and the manual couldnt be found in the unit. The main bathrooms each have a wall-hanging hair dryer mount, but only one dryer could be located, and it sparked and smelled like an electrical fire when turned on. We returned it to the front deck for safety purposes. One of the kitchen cabinet doors was falling off. This was fixed during our stay. Two of the bedroom door handles were broken and were also replaced/repaired. This also necessitated two interruptions in our plans. The carpet was so filthy that kids had black dirt on the soles of their feet and had to wear shoes at all times. The powder room sink has a deep crack in its bowl. One of the main bedroom beds has a splintered frame with sharp pieces of wood exposed. If wed had a crawling baby it would have been very dangerous. The two sectional couches in the living room were either torn or badly faded. The spa tub is a fancy amenity, but one of them has broken hardware. Another penthouse perk is a vanity area in each of the two large bathrooms. Only one of those has a chair for SITTING at the vanity sink, and that chair is broken. The Project Director does not return phone calls. I have been polite and fair about each of these disappointments, some of them representing an unsafe conditions (ie., splintered wood, flaking Teflon, sparking hair dryer). He asked to come over to see these items the day we checked out, so we were ready early. He didnt show. He texted to say that he would call me instead. No call.I felt that the lovely surroundings of Lake Delton and the public areas of the resort were such a great draw. The large unit was supposed to be perfect for our reunion. I didnt mind paying $996.00 per night. But the reality is that I feel I deserve a partial refund for needing to overcome these drawbacks. 314 is NOT worth it.If I can find a way to attach photos, I will. I wonder if the project manager will ever call ...
We stayed at the Delton Grand Resort & Spa over a weekend in October. We meet the owner Rich on a whim during dinner on the way to a wedding. He asked where we were staying, and at the time, we had no reservation since it was the off-season in the Wisconsin Dells, and there are plenty of rooms available. He mentioned that we should stay here. And I am glad we did! We had one of the four-bedroom courtyard villas at the resort. The views of Lake Delton were spectacular off of either of the two decks. The homey open concept main living area with a large kitchen would be perfect for a getaway with the whole family. The fireplace is a great gathering spot in crisp nights. There is even room for the extended family to stay too. We will be back to enjoy the Wisconsin Dells with the family at the Delton Grand Resort & Spa!
Could be a great place to stay. Do not stay in unit 106, broken/old furniture, missing cable boxes in bedrooms so can not watch TV. Needs a refurbish for the price you pay for. When you tell the staff the issues they really cant do anything since the owner has to take care of it.
Great Resort when youre traveling with a family. We stayed in condo 305. It was very clean, plenty of room and great view of the lake. Kitchen was equipped for our use. I love the fact we could park in an under garage. The staff is very nice and accommodating. We will stay there again for sure.
My wife and I decided to book our stay at the Delton Grand Resort to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary. We had a long 2 hour drive that we started after a long day of work. In short, we were tired and looking forward to relax in our Suite.Booking was troublesome, as I had to call 3 times to just confirm the room number after booking our stay online. We followed the detailed instructions to retrieve our room key with ease. We entered room 409 only to find many personal belongings scattered throughout the room, including a room key and envelope labeled Stephen 409. Fortunately we didn’t walk in on Mr. Stephen...My wife and I called the numbers listed on the office door multiple times with no answer. We went back behind the suites and ran into other guests. A nice man called his friend Dana who happened to know one of the owners. Dana came down to meet us in person and called again for us.After a couple calls, Adam picked up. Adam worked to get us another room, and was aware that we had a two night stay, as he specifically didn’t give us a room that was only available one night. We met Adam near the lockbox and he gave us the keys for 406 and said we can stay there for both nights and apologized and said that never happens and that he would make it right and just to email him Monday. There was still confusion as the woman from the desk came to the door early Saturday evening because she was told 406 should be empty and ready to be cleaned. Fortunately we were present at that time and could talk to her in person, and fortunately for her she didnt walk in on us celebrating our year of marriage...As Adam stated the room was very nice however the blinds didn’t completely shut which was irksome because theres a lot of foot traffic near the stairs on the level this room was at and didnt exactly give us the privacy we had hoped for. It was mostly clean but we did find some belongings from yet another guest, including a swimsuit underneath the pillow on the chair.Adam did say they would make it right and to email him Monday. I emailed them and they asked for an address to send a gift certificate. 8 weeks later and we still havent received anything. We were hoping to have at least have a nights stay refunded to us. Because of all these issues and lack of follow up, I cant in good conscience really recommend this place.. sorry!
Me and my girlfriend stayed for 2 nights. On arrival we checked in and were greeted by a rather unfriendly receptionist. Once we arrived to our room (401 londen suite) we discovered that the only thing the spa correlates with London is The beetles. I kid you not when I say EVERYTHING was beetles themed. As someone who enjoys new places I didnt mind terribly as it was almost humorous. After the first few hours we quickly realized that this resort was not so much a resort and spa as it was a poorly maintained hotel that happened to be next to a lake. I dont think putting jacuzzis in the rooms constitues calling yourself a spa. After noticing the large lack of customer service (not being able to request extra or new towels, not having any ability to request extra blankets or non beetles themed pillows) we realized how much of a swindle this place truly was. They didnt even have an ice machine. Instead they had a small communal ice chest with a heavly used bag of ice that youd purchase at a gas station. The kitchenette in all actuality is just a small group of minimal appliances that youd find in any Super 8 or even Comfort in. Last but not least you are REQUIRED to take your own trash bag out to the large dumpsters. I find this insane when Im paying $500 dollars for 2 nights after experiencing all these other issues. Im surprised I wasnt expected to launder my own bedding before leaving. In the end I suggest finding somewhere more reasonable and reputable. Hell Id of rather stayed at a holiday in at the rates we payed.TLDR: overpriced under staffed and poorly maintained hotel that masquerades as a spa.
The rooms are pretty nice, management is pretty bad. I had management knock on our door stating there was a fire alarm. My family and I were in the condo and didnt hear anything. Lady said she was going to charge us $250. I asked to see the alarm panel, she said no and said she would have her manager contact us. Nothing. Weve stayed many times and it was awesome and maybe this was just a fluke.
Right on lake delton with a very pretty view, but thats about it. Our room needed a lot of work on it it and with the pandemic it just seemed unclean. Our shades people could see right through which is a nice view to our bed, one lamp was missing a shade, The carpets seemed dingy and unclean. Our past stays have been enjoyable and very nice but it seems to really have gone downhill.
I took my Husband here for his 40th Birthday a couple years ago and we stayed in the Moroccan suite. It was amazing. We are now back for our Anniversary weekend and are in the London Bridge suite. We are spending a small mortgage payment to stay here and this is not the same experience as last time. Our whirl pool tub was busted and the knob had exposed wires (around water - super safe), our coffee pot wouldnt work and we woke up at 5:30 this morning to the sound of water coming down pipes next to our headboard. These are supposed to be LUXURY suites. On top of that, we were told the Manager would be in contact with us and instead, they sent the Maintenance guy who just screwed the tub knob back in (even though you need to turn the dial for the tub to work), so its just going to pop back out. We feel like we were completely blown off. Super disappointed this time!
Overall comfy, fun room and place. Check in was quick and friendly. Didnt hear noise from neighbors and enjoyed the relaxing evening. The 4 stars is simply that the room could use a little updating to freshen it up.
Stayed at the lakefront Italian Renaissance room which was gorgeous. But there were some aspects of the stay that sadly made the experience less great. When we arrived there was a used cup, a used bar of soap in the shower, and missing and twisted blinds (pictured). But we figured mistakes happen right? We told the receptionist about the blinds, for jacuzzi instructions, and a couple extra towels and they said that someone would contact me or come in to fix it. Unfortunately no one came or called us for any of these things. For a resort that values privacy we expected them to fix the blinds because people could see inside on their way to the beach area. 2 stars because the lack of response to our concerns.
Location of the resort is very beautiful overall i had good experience here.We booked king suites was hoping for better room than what we got , they need to renovate there suites because few lights were not working , comforter was not so comfy, and few furniture were broken. The only plus point was location and view from resort.
Avoid this place like the plague. Broken fixtures, no lampshade, holes in the wall, broken appliances. Completely unresponsive to concerns and calling them out on misleading advertising. Frustrated maintenance (when he finally showed up) just left without fixing most of the issues and said “too bad.” We were in unit 303 and it was so poorly decorated and maintained we looked for alternative lodging. If you are booked here PLEASE save your money and stay elsewhere. I hope everyone finds out what a rip off scam they are running!
Beautiful suite with whirlpool tub, huge shower and bathroom, kitchenette area very nice, very comfortable sleeping space with huge bed. Private beach area very well maintained and clean. Access to docking area on Lake Delton. Very quiet and calming atmosphere. Design of room was spacious as well as comfortable!
Delton Grand Resort and Spa was amazing we spent 2 nights here in a beautiful little Villa. The rooms were spacious and clean, shower was amazing, kitchen was fully equipped with everything to make a simple pleasant meal (food not included) great cable and wifi. Thank you so much for having us, if we ever need to have a little vacation again this will be the first place we go
This was my email to the manager Adam, I still haven’t recta reply!Hello Adam, my name is Renee and my husband Lozamar, and I rented room 7132 at Delton Grand Resort and Spa/Chula Vista. Upon arrival we noted some major safety issues and an unclean environment. One of the bed frames is broken, and can’t be used. The bedding has blood like stains, and discolorations. There is obvious blood splatter on the walls. The door cannot be locked and secured properly. The table in the dining area has chairs that are broken, and unfortunately the list goes on and on. My husband and I didn’t expect ‘Caesars Place’, but at the very least a safe and clean environment. This place is not safe for children, and should have never been rented. I called the office an spoke with Valerie, that rudely stated there was nothing she could do. Another woman from the office brought over linens, and noted all of the broken furniture. I have attached a video and pictures for your review. We are requesting a full refund, this has been the worst lodging experience of our lives. You all should be ashamed. Please contact me right away at the number listed above, at your soonest availability.
We came here to celebrate our 47th Wedding Anniversary. The room was so lovely!! The staff helped us have a wonderful time. The view from our room of the beautiful lake was breath taking. Thank you from us to all of you!!
Serenity for our late September visit. The whirlpool bath in the center of the ‘Cabin’ room was sooo worth it. The huge stone shower was amazing. A private patio overlooking the lake-and we were in heaven. Thanks !! We’ll be back
Room was disgusting, smelly and completely misleading from marketing pictures of room. When I contact property manager Richard no response, he truly showed how much he didn’t care. Some items of concerns, it smelled like smoke when we got in room, previous people’s hair in bathroom sink, floor and shower. Exhaust fan and molding caked in dirty, multiple lights out in bathroom. Bedroom fan didn’t work, putted drywall holes from were tv was rehung and both TVs had pixels out which are par for the course since they seemed to be from 2000’s if I had to guess. Couch and chair were both wal mart specials from 20 years ago. Pantry had water damage and drywall repair that was never completed, wouldn’t pass code. Didn’t spend too much time in pantry but pretty sure it had mold as well. In short stay away!!!!
Great view! The property is clean, well kept. Very overpriced! Poor lighting in most of the rooms. The courtesy notice stated they would not service rooms and restock anything because they wanted to respect your privacy! In other words we needed to ask randomly for everything. Please bother me when paying over 400+ a night and stayed 3 nights, with 5 people in the room! WE WANT clean towels, toiletries, ect. Paper towel ran out, only 1 dish towel, dishwasher was hard to start, light bulbs burnt out, and ran out of TP w/out any in bathroom! Priority seemed to be cost cutting efforts. All previous resorts I have been to always cordially found ways to visit the room daily, if not I would hang out the notice on door telling them dont bother,......in other words, I tell them, them not telling me! Sorry, for this price I will never be back!
Location is nice, right on the lake, room 413. The internet was decent, I was able to achieve a stable 5mbps down and 5mbps up. The rooms looked awesome at first glance but when you took a closer look you will notice the rooms are not super clean. There was hair in the bedding and a French fry beside the bed. The showers are pretty cool with 3 faucets and 4 shower heads. However, because everything is more spread out, the pool was disconnected from our building so in the winter that kinda sucked.
Room smelled like natural gas, and the carbon monoxide detector was in pieces on the counter. The staff did not care and didnt seem concerned at all. Lack of maintenance is apparent. We had to go buy our own toilet paper even after we asked the front desk to refill. If you like your privacy the Moroccan room is not it. Its on the ground floor and everyone can and does walk right past your window. For the price, find another place to stay. The staff could have made this better and elected to do nothing.
I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. If a zero star rating was acceptable then that is what they would get. We booked our room almost 4 months in advance and I called 1 week prior to confirm our reservation and room selection. To begin our weekend, our room was given to someone else which we found out is a usual occurrence so we were moved into the Wellness room which was cleaned but not prepared for guests. Because this was during after hours no one picks up for calls. We wanted to cancel the reservation and stay else where at this point but it looks like we were stuck. There was so many things broken and not working such as: the blinds for the large sliding door, the top lock, lamps, towel rack, bed frame, internet cable box, a/c, portable a/c and more. We were honestly laughing at the state of the room. We were promised a meeting with the manager in the morning so we figured we would talk then. We went to check out of the room to find out that the manage Rick is not in but we were promised a phone call the next day. And then the next day came and went and I have called attempting to get ahold of Rick for a week now with lots of broken promises of returned phone calls. I guess it doesnt bother them, they got their money. Please go else where for your stay at the Dells. They will steal your money, give you a messed up room, switch your reservation and not give you the courtesy of calling you back.
So close to everything and the facilities are amazing! We are staying in a 4 bedroom condo (207) that sleeps 16 with 8 girl scouts and 7 moms. We dont feel crowded at all. The owner Mike has been nothing but amazing at making us feel welcome and we highly recommend it!
We stayed in the Lakefront Penthouse (#313) & it was BEAUTIFUL! It was spacious & clean. We comfortably fit 13 people, but could have probably fit 17 if people wanted to sleep on a couch. There were two master bedrooms, two living rooms, two decks, 3.5 bathrooms, a dining room & ample storage space. The community outside firepit was electric & all 13 of us fit around it. The front desk staff was meh. When we checked in, they didnt give us a wifi password, & didnt give specific instructions on how to check out. Upon checkout, they didnt even bother to look at me, say thanks, smile, or be pleasant at all when dropping off the keys. I would still highly recommend the Delton Grand!
My parents decided to plan a trip to the dells for a family get away that was also boat friendly so I could bring my fishing boat. She called ahead and asked multiple times if the parking was adequate for large fishing boats which they assured multiple times that it was. Well upon arrival at 630pm on a Friday there was ZERO boat parking. I walked into the service office and asked the lady nicely where the boat parking was that was promised to which she replied you can park on the main road in front of the office. So by boat parking you mean park my $65,000 boat on a 2 lane busy street with no shoulder to even remotely pull off to the side on? Yah youre insane! So I told her that I would have to stay elsewhere and scramble for a place and she pretty much shrugged her shoulders and had no intention of helping out the situation at all. I ended up finding adequate boat parking at the Aloha Beach Resort and Suites right down the road. The gentleman at the front desk of Aloha I believe his name is Less is a great man and went out of his way to ensure me that I had boat parking plus electricity for charging and even a room with a direct view of my boat and truck from my room with security cameras on it. On top of all of this my mother wanted to make spaghetti tonight for dinner for all of us and they didnt have any large pots or pans in the room so she called room service to ask if they had any they could bring up. The front desk lady said I will contact my project manager, well 3 hours later and a call from my mother.........they finally got the pot for the noodles and pan for the sauce.
Rented a 4 bedroom 4 bathroom condo for a night out with friends. All of the rooms were clean and decorated nicely. The living room and kitchen upstairs and downstairs were also clean. Quiet and comfortable place to rent and reasonably priced!
Great place for the Dells. If your looking for more of an upscale, renovated place to stay near and/or the lake then this is your place. Has units with Lake view as well as other across the way. Small clean pool on the lake, a “beach” for swimming as well as an indoor pool next to the lobby checkin building, it’s about the size of a large hot tub tho. Short drive to down and about a 10 minute walk to the water park down the street.
This was a last minute getaway that we only planned a one night stay for. After seeing the room we decided to stay longer. We stayed in the theme rooms, all lakeside. Clean, updated and inviting. I cant remember the last time we were able to relax like this! The stay was perfect. We will return.
The hotel is fine, but at 2am someone attempted to enter our room from the patio, we had the lights off and were sleeping and had to yell at the man to scare him away. The Resort makes a big deal about people wearing their yellow wristbands saying they will escort you off the property if youre not wearing one. This leads me to believe they have some kind of issue with this. The one star rating is because nobody at the front desk answered when we tried to call them about it, then called three times asking to speak to the manager the next day from morning to afternoon. They took my number and I never received a call. Just stay somewhere else they dont care about their guests here.
Nice clean hotel on the lake, I would not call it a resort as I associate resorts with added amenities like restaurants, golf, water park... There is a small beach, and they do keep it groomed well, however this side of the lake tends to accumulate green floating weeds... I do like this location for the veiws and quick access to the Dells. For what you pay for, I would say this is one of the better place to stay in the area.
We stayed in the Chalet- the only stand alone unit on the entire property and paid a ridiculous price to have that privacy (and not disturb other guests with our children on their first vacation). The unit was barely clean- we found an empty alcohol container in the bathroom drawer, toenail clippings all over the place from the loft to the living room, the private dock was broken and unusable, there was a nail sticking out of the drawer on one of the childrens beds in the loft (knob was missing thus exposing the nail), etc. The management was mostly a joke. They did get the dock fixed by the second day of our stay but when calling to ask for help with the fire pit, someone promised to come over to help and never showed up. Thank God my husband figured it out as we hyped up smores to the kids for weeks leading up to the vacation. When I called to discuss the above issues, I was told theyd pass the info along... no apology or anything. The overall property seems nice and the views were great, it just was not worth all that money we paid!
Room was horrible it looked ok but not the room the property told me I had expected a different room they have Bed bugs then when I informed the room (which didn’t open until 11 and I found a live bed bug crawling at 7-8 in the morning) they first wanted me to just kill it and send a picture we can go to the water park and then come back to the same room that had bed bugs I had to explain to them I didn’t want to be in the same room and I have children. Also my room came with water passes I was informed the water park that came with the room was closed instead of giving us other passes they gave $10 off of $59 tickets which made me spend way more they didn’t offer anything to accommodate the fact the room had bed bugs or that they inconvenienced me with the water park or anything my trip was horrible good thing my kids are young because they didn’t understand what was wrong. I will never book with them again
Shower went from extremely cold to extremely hot. Hard to take a shower. Shower knob was falling off and toilet paper holder also falling off wall. Not 1 livingroom chair to sit on only a couch.
No privacy! Italian Renaissance suite (ground level) blinds on patio doors didnt work & looked horrible. Needless to say absolutely NO privacy after dark. Only could use hot tub during the day because of that. So called Noise Policy (quiet time) from 10pm-9am & had neighbors partying from 11pm-4am with loud music & yelling the first night. Complained at the rental offfice next day. The next night (our last night) the same neighbor was pounding on the patio doors & room doors for over 3 hrs between 130am & 3am. Our special occasion/getaway was anything but that. Hardly any sleep & no apologies what so ever from the Rental Office Staff & nothing offered to resolve the nightmare!
The rooms are okay, but overall not a great experience. Staff didn’t tell us about the included water park passes. Indoor pool is in a completely different building on a separate block. Tried to book a spa service and staff person said they would check and get back to us, but never did. Left over food in the fridge. Room smelled of harsh cleaning chemicals. Requested ice, and never received.
Great view, cool room. There was a leak in our bathroom ceiling making the bathroom floor wet... Didnt enjoy having a shared porch area either. Next time, well be requesting a different room! Haha
Have stayed here a few years ago under different management and it was wonderful. Returned for a romantic weekend with husband for 3 days. What a difference. I made reservations over the phone directly with the property. Only charge on our credit card except for a 3,000 charge to some business we never heard of. We cancelled our credit card and called the resort three times and were told a manager would call us . Never happened. We decided to come anyway. Met with the manager about credit card. No results. Room was ok but not worth almost 700 for two nights. Had the wellness room. 2 towels for 3 days. We called 4 times for them and even tried to get them from housekeeping. We offered to go get them ourselves . Which after being told no. We ended up doing.Extremely disappointed and will not be back. There are other good options in the Dells for less money and better service
Disgusting. Awful. Poor excuse for owner, manager, and staff. This place doesnt deserve a star. Not only was our room disgusting, we didnt have a working shower or television, but they charged my credit card a week before we checked in for our honeymoon! Upon check-in we asked to leave immediately as the room was that awful- holes in the wall, carpet torn up revealing nails that we just LOVED stepping on. The issues were endless. We were told we couldnt leave because there was no manager there to refund our money. So we stayed Friday night. Saturday came and we once again complained and asked to leave, again told no. Sunday came, we checked out, complained again and were told RUTH the manager would be calling us Monday to refund our money.... this never happened. I have called a dozen times or more to try to come to a resolution, none has been reached, but my credit card company did inform me that this joke of a resort charged my credit card a week prior to us checking in, which is illegal, as a deposit is all they are allowed to have a pending charge for as we had 72 hours to cancel. The owner Rich Kawalec has refused to return our phone calls, and has had these young girls make excuses for him every time I have called. They are even refusing to let me contact him myself. Not only have I reported them to my credit card company but am now going to call the BBB. Save yourself the money and the headache of this resort and sleep in ur car. Trust me, Im sure your stay would be more delightful. Oh, and their pool is disgusting, their parking is inadequate and if u were hoping for a relaxing spa day, just throw yourself onto some sharp jagged rocks, thats an adequate comparison. Oh, and the mold growing all over the shower was the icing on the cake of my honeymoon weekend.
The 4 bedroom condo was beautiful and privided all amenities. The staff was nice and accommodating. We even met one of the owners who was very down to earth and genuinely concerned about our satisfaction with the property and thanked us for our patronage and told us about the discount offered to returning guests.
Don’t book with Delton Grand Resort & Spa in WI, my experience has been so stressful and frustrating! The hotel changed my booking that I prepaid (4 bd/ 4ba) a month ago without my knowledge and put my family in a 3bd/2ba without giving me a partial refund, is not acceptable. It shouldn’t have to fall back on me for the mess up. I only found out after I called the day before my trip to confirm, nobody from your hotel called in advance to notify me instead the hotel management team were waiting for me to get to the hotel to tell me. Nobody called me to try to find a resolution and for Adam, operations manager and owner, to call me after 12 hrs arriving at the hotel to tell me they can’t do anything is a disappointment. When I called the day before, the front desk claimed that Expedia sent them the wrong request, but when I got there they told me the villa got sold so they automatically assumed I’ll be okay with a smaller unit. No advance notice whatsoever. I’m demanding for a refund for the smaller room and emotional distress! This hotel failed at communicating to me and assume that I will be okay with the smaller room- which couldn’t accommodate 12 people. If you want a nice family resort and place to stay, stay away from this place. This horrible situation just occurred on 6/24/2021.
I have no idea how this place got any good reviews. The only thing it had going for it was the price was reasonable bun I sure wish I would have paid more someplace else. Tried the Spa numerous times leaving a voice mail each time but no response back, both ice machines broke in the entire resort, room never got cleaned even though we walked past the maid several times in the hall. Went to the front desk on Saturday afternoon to find a place to get ice and was told sorry we don’t have any. Then asked about why no answer at the spa over the previous week and she responded that its closed. Maybe when you have the word Spa in your name and close it you might want to let people know....... It was a place to sleep, do read anything more into it.
Beautiful condo. Everything we needed and more for our weeks stay. Kids enjoyed the pool a lot. We visited in the middle of winter so the lake was ice but the lake is just walking out your door, and down the hill. Would love to come back in the summer to enjoy the lake. Easily located, a short car ride close to the many, many Wis Dells attractions.
It was amazing. My GF loved the petals and chocolate. We had the renaissance Italian. My favorite was the shower. If i could say 1 bad thing the tv is small compared to the room. Wonderful Stay. The couples massages were wonderful.
The condos are beautiful, spacious, and clean. There is a nice fire pit, a pool, and a great view of the lake right outside the patio door. One downside is the access to the garage parking. There is a single garage door opener given instead of a code to get in, so access can be tricky with multiple cars. There is also only 1 fire pit for all of the condos. All in all, its a nice place to stay.
Furniture was falling apart and needed major updates! I sprung for a lakeside suite and was disappointed in what we got. My credit card was charged twice and I finally had to call my credit card company to get my money back 3 weeks later. The resort said they refunded my initial charge but they never did. Very disappointed.
The Fantasy suite rooms are INCREDIBLE! Well decorated, Great lake view. Im not used to thinking of the dells as a luxury getaway destination, but this was up there with the highest quality resorts I have stayed at anywhere!
We spend a week in the 4bdrm suites, it was beyond my wildest dream. The pics doesnt tell it all. Once you see it in person you may never want to return home. The staff there were very nice, the director went beyond his call of duty to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Cant sey enough about this place, me and my wife are serious thinking about purchasing one of these unit for our summer home.We will most likely be back.
This place was the best place you could possibly ask for on Lake Delton. The view was amazing and the room was vast and very accommodating. There were no words as to how nice it was here. You would just have to go there and see for yourself. Room 312 was exceptionally excellent! We left a little message in the bottle that hopefully someone will read and leave us one for when we return. What a great experience, we will be back for sure!
We stayed at 106 Lighthouse Cove. The girl at the front desk was not friendly. She demanded an additional $150 security deposit even though the owner had his security deposit. Never was given a key for the pool. The wifi didnt work in 106. Tv in the guest bedroom not connected to cable. Busted toilet tank in the master bedroom. The owner was unaware of the condition. Poorly managed.
This place is a well kept secret..The room was comfortable, clean and modern..The view of Lake Delton was AMAZING!!! ..This lady at the desk was extremely helpful and nice..I think her name was Veronica( she worked the weekend of 9/18/21)..I would definitely stay here again..
Very nice and clean condo rentals. Make sure to stay in rooms with a lake view but stay on the 3rd or top floor due to traffic and noise. They provide almost everything you need (except can openers) so you only need to bring consumables. If youre looking for a higher end place to stay with a larger group of people, stay at the Delton Grand resort!
Stayed in suite 410.Highly recommend for couples looking for a cozy retreat.
Outstanding stay at the Delton Grand! Family end of Summer trip filled with great views, clean accommodations, and friendly staff! Love the atmosphere at Delton Grand...makes you feel like youre secluded from the rest of the Dells! I highly recommend staying here for Family getaways!
Great location. Lovely shower and showerheads 🚿 🚿 🚿🚿. Condo has nicely appointed decor. Comfortable bed and pillows. We would happily rent this unit again.
It was perfect! The atmosphere was super relaxing and it was the perfect spot for a two day getaway. Everything was clean & check in/out was stress free. The fact that its so close to devils lake and mirror lake was ideal
The worst experience I have ever had in Wisconsin Dells. As we walked in into our condo we had water leaking from our ceiling through the light by the kitchen counter. With each time it kept leaking harder and made a lot of messy yellow water puddles. We waited for maintenance for about 30 min and when he arrived he was lost. He didn’t know how to fix this problem. We waited for another 30 min and learned that we were being flooded by the people on the second floor. I was so surprised that nobody offered help to clean this mess or even apologize for such inconvenience. A day later, after our check out, I got a charge for $195 due to extensive cleaning they had to do after our check out. I called the office to learn more about this charge and at that point they were very rude to me with an explanation. I was NEVER told at the check in that I had to clean ( wash dishes, take out garbage and strip beds) before my check out?!?!? How I would have to know about such policy if I was never informed. I have never seen such thing in any of the places we have stayed before. For the price we paid I thought “housekeeping services” were included! Such an awful experience!!! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND this PLACE to anyone ! You can find a much better place with even lower prices with exceptional customer service!
Room was very comfortable, loved the view from the balcony. Wish we couldve had a tub and shower in the bathroom. We stayed in the 1 bedroom lakeside villa. Other than that stay was awesome close to everything.
The only thing that got to me was it had rained the night i stayed and I opened my door and walked right into soaked carpet with my socks! And the laundry room was flooded also and I didnt even get as much as an Im sorry for your inconvenience! And I spent a nice piece of change to stay there!!! Wasnt to happy!!!
Great location and beautiful suite, but for the price terrible lack of details. Wont answer the phone when issues, no internet service in our condo, wobbly deck table, no pizza cutter, limited towels, etc. Stayed at cheaper places with more attention to detail
We got to the resort late on Saturday night because of a snow storm. We had already paid for our room and they refuse to give us a refund. I also called that saturday to check in and they never called me back. That is very rude and bad customer service. We were going to rebook with them, but not anymore. Dont waste your time and money on them.
The penthouse is gorgeous nice and big. Great lake view. I would stay again but things could be fixed in room 314. The WiFi isnt strong your lucky if you get connected. Bedrm by the hallway with the fireplace blinds needs fixing missing pieces and the deck light needs fixing. Kitchen needs new pots and pans all are worn out very worn. Needs new dishes the plates are chipped off and sharp , the refrigerator is very small inside could be bigger for food for a large group. Clear direction on how to use the tv that you have to press input on theTV itself to get a picture and dishwasher. Needs extra sheets and blankets and some blankets and sheets for the sofa bed. Check all plugs especially in the living room. The blinds in next to the fireplace needs fixing doesnt let down, the bedrm next to the kitchen the toliet doesnt flush all the way or at all, the bedrm arcoss from the bathroom in the hall the tv needs updating its an old box tv, also the living room tv needs updating, Make it clear to first time visitors on what to bring (ie) washing detergent dish detergent, dishwasher soap, cleaner for the tub and sink, dish towls, oven mits, grill tools, optional, how to use the gas grill and fire pit, paper towels.
Loved it! It was very nice, it was very comfortable, great view and a great experience all the way around! We stayed here in October 2013 for our honeymoon and it was very relaxing! Will be going back when we get some extra cash!
Our 3rd time here and love it everytime!FYI- some 1 bedroom units are bigger than others. But still spactacular !!Its very quiet, clean, and wonderful staff. If youre a returning customer as for a discount and try to go during mid April for the best deals and after peak season!
To start off this place is has a beautiful lakeview, and the rooms are nice and clean 👍They also have available themed suites with outside patio, currently im in the vegas room. Price is awesome for a nice romantic getaway and good views. The room also has a jacuzzi 👌 I also must add, the service is great here for first impressions, we ended up switching rooms and Pam at the front desk was nice and friendly about guiding and helping me get setup.Indoor pool and spa treatment if thats your style. This place is a real sleeper hit for anyone in Dells area, I highly recommend it.
Unfortunately, this resort does not really have a spa and it is deceptive to call it such. The spa is located down the street from the rooms and does not have basic services available. I booked massages for my mother and sister and when I tried to book facials, I was told (at the last minute) that the esthetician was not available. This was very disappointing. If you advertise yourself as a spa, you should have all options available for your guests. I would not have booked the room at this resort had I known that these options would just randomly not be available.Worse, my sister’s “massage” was a complete waste of money. The “masseuse” stepped out to check the time (!), she chatted and chewed gum incessantly and she spent at least 10 minutes of the 50 minute massage with her hands on my sister’s head gauging her “cerebral energy” or some such nonsense. Thus, a good portion of the massage I paid for was not delivered. The staff is very unhelpful and we had to call repeatedly just to get towels in our room (which was stocked with only TWO tiny towels).Overall, this was a disappointing experience. Its a beautiful location but beware of the misleading website.
I didnt really like the perfumed smell of the room. The key cards worked only when they wanted to work. Otherwise, the room was very comfortable.
Awesome. We got good moments from here.i high recommend this hotel.lake view room free Waterpark tickets for every days just walk distances. Good removal furniture ,Large room there is more good thinks for everyone only i see problem is suit names is very nice but first floor i was at 1 br to 4rd floor
Made reservation for business. Trip was postponed. Tried to move reservation to different dates without fees. Flatly refuses to compromise and clerk was very snobbish. Will never use this hotel again and recommend other looking for better hotels in the area with more reasonable management.
We had a wonderful time. It was nice and quite. We had a beautiful view of Lake Delton. The room was so nice and very clean. Looking forward to coming back in the summer.
Out of any resort you can stay at in the dells, this place is top tier. Plenty of amenities, walking distance and access to Noahs Ark, and friendly staff. The only negative thing I could think of is the quality of tiny things around the villa. Low quality paper towels in the kitchen, handles missing on the shower doors, but for what youre getting, in the dells, its still very good.
This was the perfect getaway in the Dells. The room was amazing, and being able to cook in the kitchen saved us a ton of money with the kids for breakfasts. :)I highly recommend checking into the Delton Grand if you and your family are in the Dells.
A bit pricy, but it was spacious and fit our group well. The view was beautiful, evwn though we couldnt fully appreciate everything due to rainy weather. Parking for a group was a bit confusing and multiple large groups confused the reception staff.
Dirty room, rotted drywall in the bathroom, old used mattress and pillows were flat as a pancake for nearly $400 it’s not worth it. don’t spend your money at that resort. NOT IMPRESSED.
I was given two rooms that wasn’t cleaned at all. I also was given a room that I didn’t make reservations for. When they finally got me a clean room and the room I made reservations for. The manager was MIA, due to me requesting accommodation for their screw up, he/she never called me like the attendant stated. I would not recommend this place to no one. I stayed 3/15/20-3/17/20....
Love this place! The lake is gorgeous the rooms are nice as well.
We come here every time we’re visiting Wisconsin Dells. The lake behind the condominium is so beautiful to wake up to. The staff is friendly and helpful.
They gave my room to another person with the same last name. Didnt get my lake view or jetted tub! The place is nice but Ill never return!
Chose location for Rhapsody Spa and INDOOR POOL. Arrived on Monday saw scaffolding in middle of indoor pool. An email notification would have been nice. Could not book a couples massage. Gem of Wisconsin Dells, I disagree
If everything else is booked you could stay here but it definitely wouldnt be my first choice I stayed in a theme suite I dont know how the other rooms are but for what they charge I dont think the money is being put into the property amenities or their employees
This place was awesome. Its winter time too, cant wait for better warm weather. We are planning a Wedding during August and had a most welcome experience this weekend.
A huge relief, me and my friends had no place to stay when we came to wisconsin and ohr original plan failed. Since we are 18 most places wouldnt take us but suzy at delton grand was a complete life saver. I would give this place 5 stars for a great affordable price . Welcoming staff, and an amazing time in the dells.
This place is BEAUTIFUL and our room was so clean. The pool was nice and the view of the lake was gorgeous in the morning sipping coffee waiting for my toddler to wake up
We stayed in the “safari” suite, which I understand that every room has a theme, but the decor included statues of giraffes and elephants.. but there was an open window making full view of anybody using the toilet or taking a shower, the temperature on the shower gauge did not work, several lights were burnt out and outlets did not work and finally our rooms hot tub kept malfunctioning.. I stayed at a different suite before and none of these problems existed.. but still a beautiful view..
Room was good the hot tub in the room worked but couldnt really figure out the dial on the hot tub frame of the bed was very loses and the fitted sheet would not stay on the bed so we were sleeping on the plastic mattress pad it was kinda uncomfortable coffee pot didnt work very well either shower was amazing they didnt turn over our room on Saturday or give us new towels or anything like that was a great place but would of rather have been a little better experience than it was price was ok for the most part but could of been a better price with the complaints we had but thanks for a great weekend
The room clean had everything we needed as far as cooking utensils. Service at the front was great. We enjoyed our stay.
Amenities are less than a super 8 motel. Doors proped open. Room smells like harsh cleaning chemicals. No wifi or water park pass as advertised.
I am Here for My Daughter Birthday Weekend and I booked the Penthouse for 16 people and only it only has bath towels for 4.... Called for housekeeping at 9 am and was told some one would be over ..... Called back at 11 and was told someone was coming... When I called back at 12:30 I was told there were no towels clean and that they will be ready by the afternoon... The Master Bath Tub is NOT WORKING... Someone came this morning said he was going to get a tool and NEVER RETURNED... The SERVICE IS HORRIBLE...
Amazing beach views, good indoor and outdoor pool, good beaches (there are 2), and good/but buggy fire pit area near the outdoor pool. The service is “okay”, they are very particular.
The room has a spectacular view of the lake. Very peaceful area and the customer service has been awesome. Definitely recommend getting a massage.
Its a nice place to relax, the service counter could be better and check in times should be sooner than 3pm since youre paying for that day. Especially after a long drive. But the view is amazing.
Stayed at this amazing place now multiple times This is just such an amazing property...breath taking views, clean, high quality everything, its the best spot to unwind, relax and just breath.......a Dells expierence like no other!!! Highly recommend it!!!
Broken furniture, missing amenities, and fairly unresponsive staff. Stayed here 2 years ago and they were much better. I think they are struggling here. Understaffed and unapologetic. Stay somewhere else.
Great location, but more quiet than some of the big resorts. Walking distance to Noahs Ark. Indoor pool, outdoor pool or there is a beach on the lake.
Was a nice place to stay in the dells area. Lake view was cool. Beds were so so on the comfortable scale
Better in person even than the pics. Service was excellent, spa also impressed. Views are awesome, stayed in the two bedroom condo mid winter.
We stayed in a 10 guest suite with a great view of the lake. It was perfect for what we were looking for! Would recommend it.
Nice stay for a large party. Sleeps 8. Has silverware. Full fridge. Dishwasher. Overlooks a lake. Free water park tickets.
I grew up in the area, so happy to see the area developing with Condo style living. I would stay here again every trip back home! Thank you for the great accommodations.
The room had everything I wanted for the weekend except for a coffee maker(which they delivered). The view of the lake was great!
The best condominiums in the Wisconsin dells the best and most luxurious full spread 3 bedroom condo full kitchen awesome lake front water views very professional and family friendly 2 pools one indoor and one outdoor with Jacuzzi and sauna just awesome getaway for the family with boat docks as well
Great location, on the lake as well as close to downtown action. I’ve stayed there many times and always enjoy it!
We arrived for our weekend business retreat and no one was present nor available to give us access to our $2K penthouse! No one responded after several messages left with the after hours phone number. What a joke!
I will definitely be coming back next year . Great place with a beautiful view and has a lot of privacy . I highly recommend to anyone looking for a weekend getaway.
Beautiful, immaculate resort on Lake Delton. Breathtaking lake views, walk in showers, full kitchens. Freindly staff. Great place to stay.
Outstanding apartments for rent near Noahs Ark and overlooking Lake Delton. Not the cheapest place in the Dells, but we consider it good value for money...
Attended a bachelorette party at one of the condos. We had great views of Lake Delton and it was a great place to stay with a large group (12).
Very clean resort and hospitable staff. Would definitely recommend Delton Grand and will be staying with them again!
Wonderful location, spacious fully stocked rooms (kitchen etc), indoor /outdoor pools to enjoy right off the lake
Big room very nicely adorned, priced very reasonably, excellent location. Showed a little bit if wear, only reason it wasnt a 5
Beautiful place we had the lake side room. Swimming pool and jacuzzi indoor and spacious.
Delton Grand Resort is beautiful with beautiful views. We had a wonderful time and very much enjoyed our stay.
Best place for couples to relax and enjoy some time off. Nice condos, quiet, immaculate condos! Worth the monies.... :-)
Great place for staying with a big family, with garage parking, full kitchen, in unit laundry facility, and offsite pool in the clubhouse.
The staff is very friendly and the views are amazing! Very nice and relaxing place for a get away weekend.
Was completely amazing room had wonderful time for my birthday weekend!!
Very nice view, great condo type place to stay. Shower was amazing.
Ok but not outstanding; shower in our unit was best part;good lake view
The view of the lake was beautiful and the room was spacious and very comfortable.
Had a great view, no complaints at all. Only stayed one night.
Place was amazing just for a weekend getaway! Felt more like home than hotel!
Nice place right on the lake. Condo were nice and it if the way
The hot tub and shower are by far the best parts of this Moroccan suite.
Great views of Lake Delton. Comfy rooms. Located nearby to some good restaurants.
Great place to hideaway for a few nights and relax. Love the variety in room options.
I just love this place its beautiful. And the theme rooms are really cool
High end condo units on Lake Delton, accommodating and friendly staff, an indoor and outdoor pool, beach access, and walk to Noahs Ark!
I would have rated 5 stars but we had to wait a couple hours after check in to get into our place.
Just wonderfulEverything about Delton grand is greatHome away from home is how we feel about our stay
Rooms were clean and quiet, beautiful property and lovely staff
I stayed down by the lake with my family and got bitten up by bed bugs! I’ll never book with them again.
Terrible customer service they never answer the phones and when we requested TP and towels they took forever to get there with them
Horrible check in time at 4pm and you cant be early even for 10 mins. 10 pm check out as usual. Not the best spa neither.
By far great quality but when they wouldnt honor the price that we received and paid the year before it put a bad taste in my mouth for this place.
Air conditioning didnt work. Temperature didnt get under 78. It was cooler outdoors! No resolution from the resort.
Great price. Quiet. Lot of room. Wonderful view.
Beautiful property on lake Delton! Rooms are updated and nice
The staff was beyond compassionate and always helped me in my time of need.
Great location, the condo was amazing. Great view and huge!
Very nice resort! Beautiful rooms and views!
Great place, friendly staff and right next to Noahs arc and lake Delton!
Loved loved loved this place! Clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need
