I really can’t say enough good things. I hadn’t had my hair done in years and was full of anxiety. Sydney not only achieved my goal hair which is so amazing. She made me feel comfortable. I’m obsessed with my hair now and it’s given me a new confidence. Highly, highly, highly recommend her to anyone that’s looking for hair services. I’ll be coming back. 😊

Ashley Z is phenomenal. Her vast knowledge in the science behind color always leaves my hair looking exactly how I pictured. She’s effortlessly efficient creating a comfortable environment while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Treena is absolutely amazing with cuts and color! She takes her time, is thorough, and is skilled with curly hair. She did a phenomenal job on my highlights and balayage! Highly recommend her for all your hair needs. Super sweet and friendly as well!

Shania is amazing. My skin feels so soft and the experience is really wonderful. Its incredibly relaxing and she gives an unbelievable massage as well as a facial. I highly recommend her.

Manicure and pedicure were both amazing. Shyanne was so sweet and patient with me since I had no idea what I wanted to do. Her work is flawless. She made sure I was comfortable and checked in to make sure I didn’t need anything.

Ive been coming to this spa for over a year now. I get the prettiest nail art and hair done by Katie and the best, relaxing massages from Rachelle. Today I came in to get my hair dyed with Katie, she is so professional and my hair is STUNNING! I always enjoy our talks too. I went with a color I was nervous about but brought a few inspo pics and she nailed it (of course)!!!! I always feel so refreshed leaving everytime. Front desk is always so sweet and personable. I highly recommend everyone to them and will continue to be impressed every few weeks. My girls need a raise :)

I have been seeing Taylor for about a year for my nails and about 6 months for my hair cuts - she slays them both!!!! She is friendly, funny and I can bring her pictures of an idea for my nails and she makes then 1000 times better! Everyone at the salon is nice and they offer seasonal pedis and beverages (yes the adult kind as well as the everyday stuff)

The spa is very relaxing and I love the people. Everyone is very kind and cheerful. A visit lifts my spirits and Jessica is a great stylist!

I’ve gotten a haircut and color a couple times here with Sydney and she always does an amazing job. I first came to her with layers that were too high for my liking and she helped blend them in so they weren’t so obvious.

Best haircut I have had probably ever! I will definitely come back to Aimee. She has all the right skills to tackle my giant mess of hair and made this a fun experience. I love my new look and my new hair. Im also interested in the other services available at this salon, so I will certainly be keeping this place in mind.

I was desperately looking for a good hair stylist. Well alot of people recommended Sydney Lanz. So I booked a consultation and I then booked me an appointment. Today I got my hair done, I had almost all grey. Sydney did an awesome job. I am so impressed with her talent. And shes fast which is even better. I loved talking with her and getting to know her. She definitely makes you feel welcome. I highly highly recommend Sydney Lanz. She does fantastic color and cut. So glad I found my new permanent hair stylist. 5 Stars!! Ive had my nails done by Tiffani and Taylor- those girls are so beyond skilled and sooo nice! I always enjoy my time with them. They take the time to listen to what you want, check to make sure youre happy with your set, and their eye for detail is amazing! This particular set was done by Taylor. LOVE THEM! 😍

Had to get my hair done for a wedding and of course I waited last minute. Unfortunately most salons in Albany including my normal hair stylist was booked, Luckily I was able to call 14th Ave. and Elydia was able to get me in the same day due to her being available on Sundays! The color and trim she did made me feel so much more confident in myself and I absolutely love how my hair turned out plus I was offered a free glass of wine!Excellent service! And thank you Elydia!

I had a spa manicure and a classic pedicure. Very first time doing either. The 2 ladies that I had were very polite and did a great job on my nails. Definitely would recommend, and I know I will be going back.

This was my first visit to 14th Avenue and I was impressed! I was welcomed immediately and offered a refreshment. Yasmín did a great job on my spa manicure! She was very sweet and friendly! Made an appointment to get my hair done next week!! Will leave another review after that appointment :)

Edit: since I wrote this review, I’ve had 3 more nails chip.My husband got me a gift card for the salon so I could get pampered before I returned back to work from maternity leave. On Sunday the 2nd of October I went in and had a full set of nails put on. That following Tuesday (2 days later) I had a nail chip and then another one on Thursday. I have an office job, so its not like Im hard on my nails at all. I called to see what they could do for me. I was told that I had to come in this week for it to be fixed without a charge. I let them know that between my work schedule, having 5 kids, 2 of which are in sports. I wouldnt be able to come in until next week. Now I understand that me having a busy life is not their fault. BUT- I do feel like they could have given me another option. All the receptionist said was, thats what my manager said and that is all we can do. I spent $78 on nails that chipped within the first week. Had I known they were that much, there is no way I would have had them done there. I would have gone to Excellent nails, where I typically go and have never had issues with my nails chipping, and they dont cost near as much. Im very disappointed and I will not be going back for any of their services.

Katie is phenomenal at her craft and is a delight to talk to during your appointment. I was new to acrylic nails when I first met Katie but quickly caught up to speed as she always informs me of my options and the latest trends. I’ve gone to her 4-5 times now for both full sets and fills and I can’t wait to continue to come to her for service. 5/5 stars!I have seen Karissa for my hair for a few years now and will never go anywhere else. She takes such great care of the health of my hair while suggesting the right services for my hair type and style. A true professional with an eye for new trends and techniques. Several friends and family are now seeing her as well!

Got my nails done by Kenzie today! She did an amazing job and I got the exact nails I was looking for. She checked in multiple times through the process to make sure they were the right color, lenghth and etc... She also recommended a product for my eyelashes after commenting on her beautiful lashes, and I cant wait to try the product!

Website has haircut pricing starting at $48, however, when I go to book an appointment it is $60 with zero explaination as to why the base price increased. This is dishonest and false advertisment.

I had my first facial in a long time with Shania recently, and it was everything and more! She takes her time throughly, making you feel so relaxed and comfortable, and she is really focused on health of the skin individually, not just one facial fits all. I loved my experience so much I’m going back to see her this week! Highly recommended booking some R&R with her, and getting your glazed donut face on🥰

I recently went here and had a full day of pampering. I first started with getting my hair highlighted by Ashley and she was amazing and then i went and had a pedicure that was well needed. It turned out super cute as well. And lastly i had a facial by shania graham, i had never had one before and it was one of the most relaxing and informative experiences ever. She explained everything that she was doing and helped me get a new skin care routine. Can’t wait to go back!

This place is great! Its a very classy place with friendly staff. I really enjoy coming in and feeling pampered. Ashley is my go-to gal and I always leave happy with her work! So much that even when I moved up to Portland, I still drive down here to get my hair done.

I received a vitamin facial from Shania yesterday and it was absolutely amazing! I’ve had facials before but nothing compared to the one I had yesterday with her. It was so relaxing I fell asleep during it. As a mom of two little ones, I’ve been really stressed lately and I just wanted a facial, but I got more than just that. I felt like I was treated like royalty. I was given a robe and slippers and I instantly felt pampered. My skin looks radiant & my stress levels have diminished. Before I left my appointment, Shaina gave me great advice tailored to my skin type. I will definitely be booking more facials with her!

Booking my appointment was super quick and easy. The front desk staff were very nice while checking in/out. Amanda did an amazing job, she’s very thorough with her work, and I’m always so amazed with how good my nails turn out. She’s super friendly and very accommodating. I’m always excited to come back!

First time getting a pedicure. It was for health reasons to make sure my feet stay good. The lady doing the pedicure was very Is knowledgeable. Ill be going back to keep up on the maintenance of making sure my feet are healthy. Men should not be afraid of getting pedicures to make sure their feet stay healthy.

On 3/11 I went into Fourtenth Ave salon and got the spring cleaning seasonal facial done by Shania Graham and📣LET ME TELL YOU!!!! It was the best facial I ever received. It was so relaxing 🧖🏼‍♀️and enjoyable☺️. My face and lips were left feeling so refreshed and hydrated. Definitely would recommend going to her for services. She is super friendly and nice. She made me feel comfortable the whole time.

One of the worst haircut experiences Ive ever had. No one deserves to be treated the way I was. Especially from a salon that charges as much as they do for a simple haircut. I wouldnt wish that experience on anyone.

I just had the BEST MASSAGE of my life!!! My husband purchased a gift card for my birthday. I had a 1.5 hour massage with Annie. She took the time to work on my problem areas. The ambiance is so relaxing and the sauna is glorious. Cassidy at the front desk was super sweet and helpful. Thank you guys so much. I feel like a whole new person.

Always clean and welcoming! Atmosphere is very sophisticated. Karissa has been doing my hair for countless years and I always walk out with my expectations exceeded. She’s done my nails and pedicure and does amazing with those also. Refreshments are offered every time! Worth every penny!

I had a horrible massage experience here. I arrived 15 minutes early to ensure I had enough time to fill out paperwork, and to change, etc. The receptionist then told me to me to wait in the massage wing. The massage wing itself was nice and relaxing. I looked at my watch and noticed that it was a few minutes past my massage time, and nobody was there. I waited a few more minutes. Still no one. Finally someone came out of one of the massage rooms and didn’t say anything as she walked out, so I slightly opened the door to see if someone could help me. I felt uncomfortable walking all the way out because I only had a robe on, and someone who worked there said “I’m sure someone is coming for you soon.”Finally, 10 minutes late, my masseuse comes in and tells me to follow her. She walked me OUT of the massage wing, up the stairs (passing by the salon and everyone else in my bare feet and robe), and took me to a room on the upper floor. I had no idea that we were going outside of the massage wing, so I would’ve asked to at least put my shoes on before we went. The room I was now in was not nearly as relaxing as the massage wing, and it was brightly lit. She had music playing and I tried to relax as the massage started. Well I couldn’t. I could hear EVERY conversation and laugh from the employees as it echoed up to the room. I asked her multiple times to turn up the music to drown out the noise (it was THAT bad, sounded like loud college roommates), however it never drowned the sound out completely. She didn’t even massage for a full hour, and when she finished early, I didn’t even bother mentioning the fact that it wasn’t a full hour because my heart was beating so fast and I wanted to leave. Worst and most unprofessional salon experience I’ve ever encountered.

I book an appointment with Shania for a body scrub! The service was amazing! My skin was so soft and smooth! Shania was sweet and professional! Ill definitely be back for another service with her!

I booked a week ago and was looking forward to a little pampering. That wasn’t the case, first thing I asked to soak off the Gel polish I had on. I was told she didn’t have time she had to file it off. Picking out a light pink was too much, twice I was told she didn’t have time. My French manicure is sloppy and the white is super thick on some nails. I’m sorry, I didn’t enjoy my visit and no massage, no hand lotion for over $50. I won’t be back

Ashely is fantastic! She really understands color and what looks best for the person. She immediately knew that my hair was the wrong tone and corrected it! My hair looks and feels fantastic and she gave me tips for making the curl hold in my hair! Thank you Ashley, thank you 😊

I have used this spa for years but will no longer do business here. Bought a spa package for over $300 and its taken 6 months to schedule it because they only offer very limited services on Saturdays. Took months to find a Saturday they could get a therapist to come in and accommodate me after telling me that if I couldnt do it during the week that was just too bad. I was the inconvenience because I work during the week and can only do weekends. Like what?!!? I had already paid for it and its supposed to be a reputable spa and if a client cant go during the week then they just keep your money and youre out of luck. Then they couldnt do acrylic nails, again what? How can most of the nail techs not do acrylic nails. This has been a complete cluster and the front desk staff who used to be nice is now VERY rude and not willing to accommodate clients at all. This spa has gone down hill significantly and I will never do business here again.

I love this salon, Madison has been my stylist for a few years! It is clean, people are friendly and they always offer you a beverage. They have many services and beauty product for sale. If you are looking for a new salon, try this one first, you won’t be disappointed!

I have been working with Taylor for hair and Amanda for nails. Great people to sit and chat with. I still love my purple hair which is fading beautifully after 2 months from the work Taylor did to prep my hair beforehand. Amanda is always willing to try out new minimalist designs on my nails and i have loved them every time. She is also gentle on my nails so they dont break often and the polish lasts! Thank you 14th ave!

My appointment was canceled within 24 hours, and when I showed up for my rescheduled appointment (that I had a confirmation text for), I wasnt on the schedule. They were apologetic and nice, but I have a busy schedule and two appointments in one week not working out is too much for me to return. I was not offered anything for my time and effort, like a discounted haircut, even though the fault was clearly not mine.

A much needed pedicure to help relieve a very stressful six weeks. Did a great job giving me back my toes! Thank you, Shania!

I love Madison at Fourteenth Avenue! She has worked miracles on my hair during and right after pregnancy (now my hair actually behaves and doesnt require a miracle). It is always so nice to see her and spend some time at the salon. The atmosphere is relaxing, yet fun & you can tell they paid a lot of attention to detail while designing it. I also love that all of the products my stylist has recommended to me are ones I actually find myself using regularly. I used to get sold products i never used, but this is not the case here. I genuinely love all of the products I have and never feel pushed to buy anything. Also, I really appreciate the knowledgeable recommendations for products because I am definitely not a hair expert, but I want to take care of it properly, so I find it so helpful when I am told what to use and how to do it. They also have lots of other services, I just have a lot of experience with the hair side. Go ahead, treat yourself to a day here!

Reganns facial was so good! The lavender scent, relaxing massage and results will definitely get me to reschedule with her. And ending it in the sauna was the best. Also, I tried a brow tint for the first time and I love it.

Madison was great with my 5 year old daughter. She was friendly and asked my daughter questions to keep her focused and the haircut turned out adorable. I usually have to give the kiddo my phone to keep her head down, but she was so engaged talking to Madison, she didnt want it, which is a win in itself!

Go get your hair done by Miss Carlie immediately!! She gave me thee most beautiful highlights ,cut and the best experience she was so kind and friendly and made sure at every chance that I was taken care of literally above and beyond service !

I went here to get my hair done for the very first time professionally because normally I am a pretty natural person my hair is pretty long but thin like to my belly button and I had experienced hair loss due to personal issues and I had even told the stylist and she kept pulling my hair like extremely hard while she did my hair like even as she was washing it she kept pulling it I should have something but I was like truly shocked. Her name was Ashley Rowe. I had put a review but I am not sure what happened to it when I called they said no one had ever complained about her and they didn’t believe me. I have no reason to lie. I have really thin hair and paid the most you could pay and she didn’t even do 30 foils she did no where near 30 then still charged me $20 extra on top of charging the most you can charge. So altogether it was $131 for partial highlights that weren’t even partial highlights I didn’t mind the outcome but they weren’t very many highlights at all. They also accidentally over charged me $55 but then refunded me thank god but still. I will never be going back here.

Jessica always does a great job on my lashes. She is open to what I want if I want to change curl or length. She is super sweet and its so relaxing doing them.

Shania was super friendly and efficient. She got my eyebrow wax and tint done so quickly (and more importantly so well) and answered all of my questions as a first timer to tinting.

I got a cut and color and it turned out so great! The stylist took her time to understand exactly what I wanted and communicated with me through the entire process. Prices are high, but specials are run every month, and the service is certainly worth it. Ill definitely be back!

Ashley H is great for hair. Ive gone to her a few times. She even coached me through cutting my hair into a pixie. Ive also had my eyebrows waxed and tinted here, have had a facial, and am about to get my first bikini wax here. Its a solid place with a ton of services. Ive always had a good experience. I recommend it.

I came in for a cut and all over color, the color was great but the cut was horrible. I came to Amy and asked for just a little trim, about an inch, with some long layers, she cut about 3-4 inches off the length and made it uneven on one side making it way too short and choppy so the other side of my hair had to be cut even shorter to make it even again. I had to go back in for her to fix it and she told me “It must have been a miscommunication, I cut off what I thought you needed.” It has taken me years to grow out my hair and now I have to start over with a haircut I hate, I’m beyond upset but you can’t add the hair back. The only reason it isn’t a one star is because the color is actually nice.

The staff was very friendly, but I would not recommend getting your eyebrows done here. My brows are now two different shapes and lengths. Per usual, when she finished she handed me a mirror and asked me if I liked them. I absolutely love going to Fourteenth Avenue. I go specifically to Ashley Harp and she always gives me everything I want with my hair. She is so personable and I love being one of her clients. The entire salon has a great atmosphere that I love.

Ashley did my hair after i foolishly tried to bleach it myself. I came in for a consultation and told her what I wanted and went over price. Late that day I came back and she got me done super fast and totally fixed my hair. The only thing that I would mark her down for would be that i asked for more of a balayage and she did a full weave, which did turn out amazing. Still love my hair but I do wish she would have double checked what I wanted if she didn’t remember. -posted from my husband’s account.

My review of this salon is this.The salon nice looking inside and out. Location is convenient.The Mens Hair cut I received was a bad version of a Hi and Tight militaryhair cut for 30$ that when I got to my car was not even at all.There is still uneven hairs all around my head. I went back in to havethe same person, I can not call here a stylist, address this problem.She touched only the largely obvious spots where it was large patches of hairnot even. Now home I see still yet more patches not even, stray hairs all over my head sticking out. This all could have been taken care of by going over my head with the clippers more than 1 time trying to rush me out. She didnt even have a client waiting. She simply ran to eat.I would not recommend this salon to any man wanting a hair cut you can call good.

First time back with Destinee after over a year and she was so kind in making me feel comfortable! She also did a great job on my brows like always!

I saw Melynda for waxing services and was thoroughly pleased with the process. When I called to inquire about pricing and availability, the person on the phone was knowledgeable and friendly. I received a reminder call the day before, and found the lobby area to be clean and tasteful with hand sanitizer and delicious sample lotions available. Melynda herself was courteous and communicative with a gentle hand. I will definitely be a return customer and may try out some of the other services in the future.

I needed to find a new Salon closer to home with a talented stylist, which is exactly what I found at Fourteenth Ave Salon & Spa. The location is great, the atmosphere inside is calming, the prices for services are reasonable, they have a wide variety of products and their staff is educated and friendly. My stylist was Elydia and she was both efficient and did great quality work. She also took the time to style my hair just the way I like it, as well as guide me to the right heat protectant for my hair. They’ve earned my continued business.

BEST SERVICE EVER! I came in with my mom to get pedicures and I’ve never been so happy with it before I’m definitely going to be returning! Everyone there was sweet, funny, and all around a good time!

Very relaxing environment. I saw Jacob for an hour and a half massage. Being a busy hairstylist for 10 years, my body has been experiencing chronic back and neck pain. Jacob was extremely professional and found and targeted my problems perfectly. So satisfied I booked 4 more appointments before leaving. Excited for my next visit.

New to area and looking for quality spa. Everyone there is very friendly and accommodating. Facilities are very nice. . My issues were more with quality of hand formed gel nails which were way to thick and uneven. The spa area is not set up for privacy between men and women. Neither is the two bathroom/shower areas where you change and keep your clothes. A lot of the techs do a variety of tasks which I feel doesnt allow for them to get quality experience in certain areas. You can see more of my detailed review on their Facebook page. I would give them a better rating on Google, but in the past 24 hrs after my Facebook review, there is now suddenly a rash of 5 star reviews, I guess to counter my 2 star. Half of them work there if you check and a couple others appear to be friends from high school. I find this very dishonest. May have given them another chance, but not now. Especially since one of the 5 stars is from tech who did my nails. Its too bad.

I don’t normally come here but I’m glad I don’t. I had extensions in my hair and said that on the phone. I thought I had less extensions than I actually did however and yes that’s my bad! When I called I wasn’t thinking about time allotted just price so I asked “ if I have less extensions in like my hair like 12 is it cheaper”? She said no so I scheduled the apt and came in. I learned as I sat there she had a client coming at 12 my apt was at 1115. I said well we’re not gonna have enough time. She said I’ll have someone come finish conditioning you and dry you etc. no problem I said. This hairdresser comes and washs and conditions my hair then says I don’t have time to dry you. I say that’s ok I’ll just dry it myself since I live outta town can I borrow the hairdryer. She goes oh you can’t use someone else’s dryer and I can’t fix your hair cause I have a client. In the mean time no hairdresser of mine anywhere. I was like you gotta be kidding me so now my lunch is ruined cause I had lunch plans. I can’t borrow a dryer cause I guess I’ll break it. And nobody had any way to do anything at all to make it right. Just sorry your problem go away. I ask the front desk for a manager or name or number. Sorry nobody here today!!! Can I get a name and a number? No shell Be here tomorrow. All the while I’m dripping wet and now have to cancel my lunch plans to go home to dry my hair that I believe I paid to have done with the $78 service I paid for! I’m not happy nor will I come back! So mad and so bad!!!!

The Fourteenth Avenue salon gave me the absolute worst haircut I have ever received. I specifically asked for a stacked bob, and to not remove much length from my hair. Rather than listen, my stylist unevenly chopped off my hair, leaving a ‘V’ shape on my left side with my hair. Not to mention, the whole cut was uneven. When I called, I put my mom on the phone and they were homophobic to her and her partner (who is a woman), refusing to speak to either of my parents (one of which also did not receive what she asked for on her hair). I have never encountered such an unprofessional manager to speak to, she was rude, defensive, and used the argument “everyone does hair differently, you just have to live with what you got.” What I thought was an a amazing service did nothing but disappoint me. I will never give them my money, time, or energy again.

Ive been to Fourteenth Avenue twice now for spa pedicures and Ive had amazing experiences. The staff has been very friendly and helpful. Im planning to go back every few weeks, and next month Im trying the monthly special spa pedicure that is margarita themed! 🍹

14th Ave Salon was such a blessing today. After a horrible experience at Adore Salon in Corvallis in which they cancelled my daughters hair appt when we got to the salon (we drove 45 mins to get there and made the appt 3 weeks in advance due to Covid-19). I called 14th Ave and they worked my daughter into their schedule same day and Taylor did a beautiful job on my daughters hair. She is ready to graduate! DO NOT GET YOUR NAILS DONE HERE. I had a terrible experience both times I went with different technicians. The second time the girl rushed my appointment and did not fix my nails when asked because they were uneven and the French tip application was terrible all jagged. I’ve tried to find a person who I can come to time and time again it won’t be here. Especially for the prices they charge, I’d rather go to the mall.

Disappointed in trying to get an appointment! Tried 1 month in advance to schedule a spa day only to be told they had nothing available. Tried 2 weeks in advance for a mani & pedi. Once again, no openings.

I got a full set of gel nails. I was not happy. I went to see Dominique and she fixed me up right! I love my nails and I am looking forward to going again.

LISA is a new stylist at this salon and I will never use them again because of her. Total scam. She was under the impression that I wanted a full weave of color in my hair, I corrected her before she even started that I want her to bleach all over instead and then tone as close to platinum as she could, (my hair is already blonde). She proceeded to dye ONLY the roots blonde, leaving a yellow band around my crown and the rest of my hair was left platinum to the ends! She then stated I needed to come to her again for her to fix it further... as I was checking out they stated the cost for her to simply bleach my roots and trim my hair was $180! I questioned them if this was correct and they said yes! I should have fought them further at that point! I had to call back and request a receipt later to see she had charged me for a FULL WEAVE! I had to serve in the National Guard a day later, imagine my mortification at having a bright gold halo band in my hair in my military uniform and looking incredibly unprofessional. Tried to work with Lisa and my bank but no dice, I have had to pay another hundred dollars to try to fix this without frying my hair. Total scam. So thank you for wasting $280 dollars of my money for something I could have done better at home. Lisa is a scam artist. Shame on you, Fourteenth Ave. I’ll take my business elsewhere from now on. Don’t be taken for a fool and made to look ridiculous like I was.

I actually thought they rang me up incorrectly, Im not cheap, and im not poor, but were not in Beverly HIlls, this is Albany, Oregon. Nobody, can give a $40 mens haircut. BRUTALLY OVERPRICED.

My pedicure has lasted SO long! My feet were so soft for a few weeks and the polish has basically lasted a month, which never happens (and it was just regular polish, not gel!)
