Enjoyed my time here at the start of the bar crawl. The space was not very big for the event, but as people were transitioning in and out it all worked out. There are two bars here separated by a short wall. Then, another area on the side where you can place food orders. You had a direct view into the kitchen from this area. It was a little more quiet over there; at least out of the way of the larger crowd. We had a chicken sandwich (that tasted like fish because of the tartar sauce) and a breakfast quesadilla. That quesadilla was everything. It was flaky and cooked to perfection. It could have used a little seasoning, but it wasn’t bad at all. The mimosas were good too. My favorite was the cranberry. The other two flavors didn’t taste flavored at all; just like champagne. The bartenders were so nice and they worked fast. The young lady serving food was nice too; and they had her serving all those people alone. She stayed poised the e tire time. There is a parking lot right outside the building, but it’s not very big. Street parking is available though. The restrooms here were super cute and super clean. I’d go back here sometime.

Very nice facility located in the heart of midtown. Within walking distance of various other establishments. I was walking by but what really drew was the music they had playing on the patio was very welcoming. Inside it has a unique layout that you really dont see at many of the other bars in the area. Friendly staff and overall general atmosphere.

This is by far the worst gay bar to host eventsAn all around awful setup with no interest in building any sort of stage for performers. Outside of what the performers chose, the music might actually be worse than Blakes.Per a review they responded to about a year ago- they are lying in saying that they have a raised stage. My Ugg slippers are raised higher than that stage. They are also lying that they play the show on the screens at the bar. No such thing happened. And I agree with the reviewer that only 20% of people could see. Maybe even less... and Im 61!!! NEVER i repeat NEVER see a drag show here.Even the care packages/gift baskets they send the performers are busted and give a Five Below budget, so I see why they cant afford to make this venue nice or even realistically usable.

The loml and I were in Atlanta for some schooling. Oh boy, did we get it. We were seated at a table near the stage. The ladies at the bar were watching and commenting on Ru Pauls Drag Race before the live show. The show was your typical drag show with lip syncing, outrageous outfits, and a great and friendly atmosphere. The bartender was a huge rippling muscle boy with arms bigger than my legs. After a few drinks, the dollars were flying! Next time, Im in Atlanta. I will definitely be going back.

They keep selling too many tickets for RuPaul special guest drag shows. Solution: they need to put in a temporary elevated catwalk OR put in rows of folding chairs throughout the entire bar so the performers can WORK and perform the whole area. Tonight I would say 20% of the people in the building could actually see what was going on. The performers were missing out on a lot of money because there was no way to hand them cash (or even throw it far enough) Play in Nashville has the perfect set up for drag performers they have room to give their all and you are in actual seats and its such a nice enjoyable experience.

This is a fun gay bar, and my friends and I always have a great time going here. The vibe on Saturday nights is super fun. It starts getting busy generally around 11/11:30. They play a good mix of current pop music and throwbacks to the 00s/10s which is fun from a millennial perspective. Its definitely good music for dancing, and theres plenty of space on the dance floor, so this is our preferred gay bar for actual dancing rather than just socializing. Theres also a nice patio where you can go to chill out and take a break. Last time I went on a Saturday, cover was $5 and they give you a stamp so you can leave/reenter if you want.Ive seen some people complain about not getting free water here. The only time Ive experienced that was once during Pride in the pre-Covid times when it was super busy and I hadnt bought an actual drink. Ive generally found that if youve been buying drinks, theyll give you a cup of water for free. I dont totally agree with this practice (water should be free, keeps people from getting dehydrated, sick, etc.) but its just what Ive observed personally, so try to get water from the same bartender you were buying your drinks from (and it doesnt hurt to throw a tip in for the water too). Overall it doesnt bother me enough to knock off a star. The bartenders have always given me good service and the drinks are fairly priced.

We happened to pop in here by accident when realizing that Blake’s was closed just down the road. The facility itself, bathrooms and all were really nice. The music is was great and there was a nice patio. Our bartender was very friendly and remembered our drink orders the entire evening and didn’t have to ask me once “what’s the name on the tab?. As an out of towner, that’s huge. I only have two minor complaints. First, we showed up early and it got packed about an hour later - it’s a Saturday, I get it. . Aside from the staff, we were one of the few wearing masks. I’m not sure how much you could do but we were a little uncomfortable. Glad they at least did a temperature check. Second, and this is really petty, the drink prices were reasonable but the cups were tiny (no biggie, less mixer), but there’s no way we were getting a full shot of liquor each round. Our bartender more than made up for it with his service, and I’m sure we didn’t ‘need’ the extra liquor with a day of travel ahead, but it seemed kinda cheap. I’m sure he’s just following the rules. We’ll be back again once things calm down and when we are in the area.

Essentially one big, boring “dance floor” with corny strobe lights and a lackluster patio. I’ve only been there a few times and each time, didn’t feel it’s a safe space for the LGBTQ+ community at all. It’s essentially a fraternity ran by a bigoted man, who frequently attacks the surrounding businesses so his own, quite boring, bar can stay afloat.- editing this to include the last experience my partner and I had at this bar, which confirmed my prior belief that this is a bar for privileged men. A couple making out aggressively, with one of them SITTING on the bar top. When they began to fall onto my partner, who was waiting for drinks and asked them to keep their distance, they told us to “f*** off lesbians” and the bartender giggled. They were still making out atop the bar when we finished our drinks and left 30 minutes later.

Place could be decent if they ever had good music and/or was ever busy. Instead, you have an owner so out of touch that instead of changing his entertainment, he has to get other, more popular parties, shut down.Don’t go here. Waste of a cover and your time. Walk over to Blake’s instead. Plus the owner is a huge Republican and Trump fan.

I’m not one to leave a review, but there is a certain level of respect that a service establishment should show people, and the owner/DJ simply did not demonstrate it.Extremely disrespectful comments were made towards me and my girl friends for just requesting a song, after which he proceeded to arrange to have us kicked out.If you’re going to be this rude to women attending your establishment, make it exclusive to men. If you accept them as customers, treat them right.Absolutely wouldn’t recommend this place to any sane person.

This place is as dead as my grandmother who died in 95. Lets talk about the service. If you want a small plastic cup with more mixer than liquor you are in the right spot! Over priced drinks and lets not forget about the cover at the door, they should pay us to come in! The owner, James Nelson who is a real winner cant stand the fact that no one comes in the bar to hear Britney on repeat and admire the horrible plant wall of 2020 or is it the backyard tiki bar? Regardless if you want to visit a bar in Midtown, do yourself a favor and walk right past X Midtown! You are doing yourself a favor and why support a business who does not support the community!

EDIT: Response to owner— I was not confused or misinformed I saw exactly what happened and those caution wet floor signs were NOT anywhere in the building. I saw the employees bring out the signs after the fall and they started taking photos to hide their negligence. I’m sure management was rightly concerned when they realized their wrongdoings could get them sued.Negligent employees watched a patron slip and fall on the wet floor, and instead of helping him they scurried to find the caution wet floor signage that was NOT displayed when he fell. The employees then started taking photos of the caution wet floor signs to hide their negligence. This incident occurred Sunday, September 4th around 11:30pm. The floor was extremely wet from the rain and spilled drinks yet the employees would rather watch people fall than have a dry floor for their customers.

The owners of this miserable pace feel the need to call the cops on any potential competition or gatherings so that they can maintain some sort of monopoly on the queer community. This is a cute little spot in East Atlanta. Very casual and comfortable. I usually sit outside at one of two small round tables where I can people watch. I saw a deal on yelp where I got a free small hookah for checking in. I am a frequent hookah smoker and although there arent a lot of hookah flavors to choose from, I did find the basics. The quality is great and the flavor is good. The staff are courteous and attentive and definitely aim to please. I dont believe they have food but I believe you can order from nearby restaurants and eat it here. There is live music on some nights which makes the inside vibe a little louder. I will definitely return.

On their best day the service is slow, rude, and uncaring. They make it very clear that your more of a bother and should be grateful they allow you in their space. The space is a psychotic mess. They cant decide if they are a gay restaurant, gay bar, gay dance club or a movie theater that has 3 long forgotten b/w movies always playing. Have been turned away more times than actually able to order; 1) special event guest only 2) now we are a gay club 3) no one at the hostess stand for 20min so I left. I think the place was opened and only wants transvestites, Transsexuals, and special gay men, so they treat anyone else with disdain. The bathroom is so dark you will need to use your flashlight APP. If your not finished eating by the time gay club is scheduled.. then loud annoying house DJ will run you out with the noise level. If you get to account on service with a sneer and to be very slow. The worst night they had one server covering the entire restaurant. The food is a reflection of the owner and the space (see above). It was nothing special and very forgettable. They moved in the space after Five Napkins went belly-up, 10 has a remarkably similar attitude toward their customers. Hopefully they will follow the same path and maybe finally a good restaurant can enhance the neighborhood. 10 scores more like a 3; and that is being generous!

Here’s some advice instead of getting actual fun spaces shut down why not try just making your bar better. Ratchet Level: LowCover: FreeMusic: Pop/EDMYou know the typical gay club formula. Televisions on the walls playing pop videos, colorful lights, dance floor, and outside seating. I was underwhelmed. These separate venues are located directly across the street from each other. Blake’s has two floors. I didn’t spend any time up stairs excepting entering there. I went straight downstairs and started dancing. A friend of mine gave me the history of how they have drag shows downstairs. The venue is nice and modern, both of them actually but as I have been reviewing clubs internationally for 7 years now I did not see anything fresh, new, or individuality. The crowds were mostly white males with minorities and females sprinkled in between. I was bored at Blake’s (though it was extremely packed) and went across the street to Ten. The drinks at Ten were alright. It was cute dancing to Ariana Grande then chatting with the locals outside. Overall these are both cute safe places for gays to conjure and gather, but there is nothing special going on. I would like to return on a signature night, but I guess this type of scene isn’t popular in Atlanta. Your favorite club critic Shamel Jones!

The Mac and cheese was the best Ive had, that isnt made fresh by my new bride, and the chicken fingers were unique, crispy, and perfect for a late night dinner. If I liked downtown at all if go back again and again.
