My favorite place to go line dancing! Their Thursday country nights with Dance Out Atlanta is my favorite event in Atlanta by a mile. Staff is super friendly too. Somewhat pricey drinks, $6 for a beer

If bartender asks to up sale, ASK how much more. Ordered a vodka Sprite, bartender asked is Titos ok. I said sure, thinking maybe a special, or 50 cents/dollar more, after all Titos isnt an overly expensive vodka.I asked is it on special, she replied everything is a special here. Looking back that is a shady used car salesman responses.Turns out it was a 150% markup.First time here, first drink here, great and lasting first impression.

Easy place to talk to men and find a couple good ones. Had a pretty good time once I got the $20 cover charge for 70s night

First. No club, in Atlanta Georgia, is worth $25.00. This club is small and very basic. This is not South Florida, where everyone is an aspiring model. This is De ATL, where everyone has an attitude, and is dressed like, they are ready to do the laundry, or clean the kitchen and bathroom. The DJ tried his best, but it was an uptight, unattractive SMALL crowd, and I couldnt wait to get out of there.

Staff were weird about me wanting water. Soap smelled good tho.

Had a good time and met some cool people. Would have been a great time except the $20 cover charge.

A disgusting place that traffics in debauchery. Steer Clear if a traditional good time is your jam. Especially on Wednesdays..

Guys, Srsly! The cover charges are getting out of hand. It really not worth some of the pricing. So sad as this was our go to club.

Tickets were purchased online at $20 per person. We get to the door just after 11 PM and the guy says that since we didnt get there before 11 we now have to pay another $30 per person. I told him we would pay him the extra $10 since we had already paid 20. He accepted that, but didnt want to. Ive re-looked at all the ticket sales online and nowhere does it say you must be there before a certain time or you will be charged the door price. The overall vibe was good, but the place was practically dead. Bad policy and overpriced entry fees will kill a club fast. Ask yourself, is gouging for an extra $10 worth a bad rap? The 2 stars comes from the really nice white haired bartender who was very welcoming. I wish I remembered his name. It seemed like BoBo or something like that.

By far the best bar I have ever been to. Will definitely visit every time I go to Atlanta.

If you’re looking for anything to do on a friday, you should come sit with Josh at the bar! he made me a fabulous strawberry margarita, and that’s for someone who doesn’t like margs. Josh was sooo friendly and such a pleasant person to be around!! he’s the best :) i will return soon!

I visited from New Jersey, I had a lot of fun in this place, the music was on point they played my fav Beyonce like 3 times, with that being said i can’t wait to come back

Loved it had a blast been 4 times now and plan on more but was wondering a friend of mine is just starting to wear skirts all the time and he wants to go but doesnt want to go if not allowed

Had an amazing time line dancing. The instructor was so patient and friendly and the place was full of regulars with incredible dance moves and a beautiful generosity of spirit. I cant wait to go back ♡ very fun night out with such a diverse group of individuals!! Like a gay Cheers :)

This is a fun club that always has something going on. Monday night its a show with great entertainment

This is the friendliest, most inclusive bar Ive been to in ATL! I always have a blast line dancing and two-stepping on Thursdays! If youre looking for dance lessons they offer them for FREE here.

What a fun night! We visited for a theme party and had a blast. We brought a group of six and the bartenders are no beginners. They were whipping up drinks faster than we could get the names out. The cover was only $10 for the night, the dancefloor was huge, there were two cool bars, and a big smoking deck. It didnt feel crowded at any point and the staff was awesome at keeping it light and lively. Well be back soon!

Best club ever! I had a lot of fun with my friends. Music and the dance floor were amazing. The dark room is 100% highly recommend. Thank you for the great time. I just put 4 stars because a bald and old bartender guy that was fixing my drink had a bad behavior (Rude and screamed me) I wish remember his name.

It was fun, it was big, its totally out of my realm of familiarity.!!! I came down for bear pride with some friends and as someone whose only been in Nashville clubs this place was amazing. I didnt know there was a leather store inside, that was a neat surprise. I especially liked the dark room, it was discreet and adventurous but not out of the way. And the restrooms were numerous, thank God. Next time Im down in Atlanta, definitely coming back to this place.

This fun and lively atmosphere was so inviting. I went for dance night on Thursday nights where they teach you a dance from 8-9pm. It was my first time in a dance class and everyone was so nice and willing to help! Afterwards was open floor which was so fun! If you like to line dance or two step definitely go to the Heretic, you’ll fit right in!

Gay bar that has monthly goth events. Its small but nice. Staff is friendly, but their drink selection is limited. Bartenders pour heavy, so watch out. Theyre an outdoor smoking patio that looks recently refinished. If you like privacy when you pee, you wont get it here!

Ive been here a few times for themed nights where it wasnt specifically a gay event. The staff is always professional and chill, the club itself is pretty clean for a club. I have yet to have a bad experience here. There are usually the clubs regular patrons there, but theyve never given us any smoke about our presence. Def recommend!

Ive been here a few times with my girlfriend for line dancing and two stepping country nights on Thursday. Cool spot and the drinks are cheap and you can get them pretty fast. Wish they did more line dancing and less two stepping but other than night not a bad place to check out for country dancing every now and then!

Its my favorite club in Atlanta. Theres plenty of space; Leather shop, back patio, outdoor deck, dance floor, two large bars, and MORE ;) bartenders are friendly and move quickly, music is normally good, ect. I have NEVER had a bad night here.

Doesn’t accept American Express and only does cash only covers, super inconvenient and unmodern of a practice when they clearly accept credit cards literally everywhere else around the property. Also a bottle of water is $6, so the owner must be pretty desperate or just inhumane to charge that much for a bottle of Member’s Mark Sam’s Club water when a soda is only $3. What an absolute disgrace, hopefully they can sleep well at night.

This bar has brought so much joy to my life! I go on country night, mostly. Great spot, good music, and one of the only places left in Atl to line dance, two step, swing and more! The people who work here are wonderful!! My favorite week night spot.

The Heretic is super nice inside. Wood everything and a leather shop when you enter. It gives off a rustic look and smell. Everyone is always friendly and the servers are always spot on. They have events weekly. I definitely recommend this bar. God bless.

My partner and I went there for my birthday. They had some Deviant Army event happening. Paid what ended up being a 40.00 each Cover charge to get into what was a 3/4 empty bar. The Vip area was an extra 20.00 which thankfully we didnt get because i literally didnt see a soul back there. But the Vip area took 1/4 of the bar space. So overall Paid an excessively high cover charge to get into a portion of the bar that was mostly empty. Total waste of time and money left a terrible impression and dont think Ill be back again.

It’s the best place to go for young and not too young men to dance, meet new guys and have a drink or two or more. It’s fun and diverse just check the theme night before you go so you know what kind of nice crowd you’ll expect.

Interesting place, but Ive been there 3 time and had to pay $20 because it was charity event, a special weekend, and the 3rd time, they blocked off most of the bar for a themed event. If u wanted to go past the 1st bar, you would have to pay. Dont need to go back.

They have line dancing every thursday with a lesson from 8-9pm. Lovely people who are willing to talk, dance, and teach. Also, a good variety of other events like disco night. Go forth and be queer.

Your local gay hangout! Good times with good friends... bring em if you got em!!! the dance floor is always open for when the mood strikes... Friday nights Miss Lauren is dealing blackjack, she is great fun and might teach you a thing or two about the game

My coworker had told me about staying night on Wednesday Wednesday of last nights my first time. the security guard was at the door he waited until I came in the building ask me for my ID I feel really do Im 45 years old he replied that was nasty attitude I still got to check your ID. Ill let him check my ID went and hung out at the bar got a sweet dreams I noticed he left almost 40 people in and he didnt stop not one of those and ask them for id I was there to do it for 15 minutes because I didnt like the vibe of the security Ill give you A5 if the security was not being judgemental on picking who hme ask for ID. told my friend that recommended your Club to me about what happened last night. He reply yes the secuity guy do that only to us black and he can be a jack asssometimes

Im not sure what this place is like on a regular basis, but my visit was on Wednesday we Drag, featuring Bob the Drag Queen. The food was minimum but good and the show (minus one performer) was amazing.

When I go out to dance I want to be somewhere with great dance music and a static free vibe. HERETIC REALLY HIT THE SPOT!!

We went to the Heretic on Thursday, and the smell was was awful! It was terrible and sickening. We had to leave.

Country dancing every Thursday and some Saturdays too!!! So grateful for this place! And Ron is my favorite bartender!!! So sweet! XO

We had such a wonderful time catching the Armourettes! Sadly we were kicked out because there was a party that night. We had to buy tickets or leave immediately after the show.

Each week they host Warp Zone Wednesday here with unique artwork and all your favorite games to play, for free! Its a great time with great people.

Game night and good music on a Wednesday. With cool vibes and great drinks and prices there’s no place like this in Atlanta. “Amazing atmosphere”

This place was always packed for a Fri night but it sucks now since they changed from the mid evil theme when I first came it seems like its just going down hill fast and now 20 dollars a person to get in and bad drinks dont know if Ill ever return
