The Yard at Ballys Atlantic City

Went on a Sunday evening and while there were few people seated, took a while to be shown a table. Asked for it to be wiped down but was ignored. Heard the loud protests from the wait staff that the hostess shouldn’t have seated us where she did so we felt a little uncomfortable. We were handed the regular menus but when we tried to order meals, we were then told the only reason we were given the larger menu was for the cocktails choices… only the smaller menu options were available. After perusing, tried to order pizza but was told it wasn’t an option. Third try at ordering was a success. Soft drinks were served in plastic cups - free refills provided on the sodas, not lemonade. The smash burger was just 2 squares of hamburger, a slice of cheese and some sauce. Nothing special and not a do over for the price. The Yard salad included two little pieces of halloumi cheese and 2 pieces of avocado - it was delicious. Wings were good and very saucy. Once the food was received, we were looking for the truffle tater tots we’d ordered. We were eventually told they weren’t available but not to worry, they would be taken off our bill. I’m sure it’s a very happening place when there’s live music, and dinner menu looked promising.

Its easily one of my favorite places in AC. The food, the service, and the atmosphere are all perfect for any group. Live music, indoor and outdoor seating, great food, games for kids and adults, PERFECT! Not to mention, the location was prime time.

Food here was great. Have been here multiple times, always having a great meal. The buffalo wings overall are great, although the last time we had them, they were SUPER spicy compared to the other times. I highly recommend the snack attack for 3 + people. It consists of pretzel nuggets, buffalo wings, truffle tots (DELICIOUS), and Philly rolls (also delicious!). The new england clam chowder was such a great comfort dish. Servers are kind but can fall slightly behind when very busy, but overall a great meal!

Awesome place to grab drinks, huge venue, clean and good service. Its like having a biergarden on the boardwalk. Located next to and part of Ballys.

Came in yesterday, on a Saturday evening, and the place was nearly empty. The hostess claimed we had to wait 10 minutes for a table shockingly, so we decided to sit at the bar. It was kind of gross and nobody really offered to wipe it down. Spouse got a margarita, and you could tell it was some premade mix. I got something on tap and nearly waited 5 minutes for it after the margarita. Would not recommend coming here if you can help it. It seems the place relies on its new, cool ambience for its lack of quality service and overpriced food and drink.

Popular and busy, but the hostess, Robin was a sweetheart & she got my party of 3 seated in about 5 minutes. The server was friendly and the food (cheesesteak egg rolls, buffalo wings, and cheese burger and chicken sandwich platters) was delicious. There was a little wait on the food & it could have been a bit hotter, but the service was GREAT A really hardworking crew. The drinks and beer was chilled & tasty! We loved the atmosphere of the restaurant and we will definitely return on my next trip to Atlantic City.

We are currently staying at the Ballys Casino. The room is really nice and clean. We were looking forward to watching the Futbol game at the Yard. The food was a total dissapointment...I ordered a Ceasar Salad and shrimp and the lettuce was wilted not crispy the shrimp that is supposed to be grilled was cold and overcooked. I could have done a better job with a Dole Salad bag from Shoprite. My husband ordered the Cheese burger in a brioche bun. It was good he was drinking beer. I had a Mocktail it was okay. It was nothing to enjoy. We saw a lot of food leftover on the tables by other guests. The service was horrible. The Yard had only two waiters at around 4 pm. We sat down and we waved at the waitress and rather than coming to us and telling us we needed to be seated by the hostess first then order with her, she completely ignored us twice for at least 12 mins. The bar tender were all in a group behind the counter doing I dont know what. My husband asked one of them if we could watch the Jet Game on one of the screens you would think he would set the audio so we could hear the game. There was no attention to detail. I could have gotten better food somewhere else. Dont go to the Yard is not a big deal. We saw videos in YouTube and is nothing like they describe. Thanks God we are leaving tomorrow.

We were there before the live music started, so the place wasnt very crowded. We like the layout. The drinks were good. The food was OK. The service was slow. Theres a lot of energy when a band is playing.

Went in on Friday afternoon and the bartender we had was awesome. I didnt get his name but he was a middle aged gentleman who was very knowledgeable about all the events going on that weekend. Great conversation and his quick wit kept us laughing as we had some great cocktails. Five stars for him ✨️.Went back on Sunday for lunch and didnt have the same experience. The man at the host stand let us know about the all you can eat brunch and we decided to eat off of their regular menu anyway. The hostess sat us at a high top where we sat and waited for 10 min without waters or anyone to come over and greet us. There were only 4 other tables and we watched 2 waitresses walk past and ask other tables if they were OK. The girls then stopped in the middle of the restaurant to talk and have a laugh and then carry on to walk away. So needless to say horrible service and we got up and walked out.

One of the worst dining experiences I have had in a very long time. Service was painfully slow- 2 1/2 hours for drinks and a snack.Unbussed tables all around us. Other folks were getting up and walking out --15 minutes before we even saw our server, and it got worse from there. It wasnt even crowded with several empty tables.Food ok, DJ ok, a band that was setting up for 2 hours, played Footloose and then left. Still not on by 9:30 on a Sat nite.Epic fail, Ballys

Love the atmosphere. The music and drinks were good. The food was good too but took almost an hour to come out so it was barely warm. Maybe they were short staffed. Id give it another try!

I dont know why this place is rated so low? Great place to eat!!! Good wine, fun atmosphere and good music and delicious food!!! We loved it!! The also had a pretty broad menu with lots of seafood selections. They have games to play and enough screens to watch whatever sports you like. Great place, if youre staying at Ballys I would advise you to try it out!

Very cool sports bar within Ballys AC casino! Theres plenty of outside seating during warmer weather and the inside seating is nicely spaced so youre not too close to other patrons. The food is tasty and on-trend with popular bar food flavors like truffle fries, smash burgers, etc. Plenty of local craft beers along with the usual brands, and there are a few games to play. Lots of TVs and a very large one in the middle of the room. Our server was great and even gave us some complimentary tots 😋.

Ehh i would like to leave a better review but for the price you pay here the food is very lack luster. The nachos were ok but needed something to make the flavor pop. Wings were not popping at all and the sprinkle of ranch should have jus been on the side. The live band was good i would return only for the music at this point. And they said they closed at 11 but we were pushed out at 10pm 🤷🏾‍♀️

Went on a Friday night around 9pm. There was a DJ rocking it, playing some good music and her transition was perfect and seamless. There was 2 bartenders and a bar back on the outside bar and maybe the same for the inside bar. Sadly it was not busy. The lady behind the bar sad that Fridays are a slow burn but the specials make up for it. She was not kidding, happy hour started at 9pm! Cocktails were $15, beers were $5 and they had a beer/shot combo for $10.... I wont lie, we had planned to hop around and do our version of a bar crawl. We started and ended here. A couple of friends showed up later . We had a blast and plan to go back

We loved the Yard! Our server, Chris, was super sweet and very attentive! We havent been to Atlantic City in years and was impressed with the new additions, especially The Yard! I hope to return before the summer is over.

1 of 2 places that I can say I couldn’t finish the food. Philly rolls were cold and seemed like mush. Bigger was just below average. Not to mention we were given an old menu where they didn’t make the “influencer” burger and they didn’t have ginger beer to make the drink I ordered. Had to order a different drink and the balance was just off. Server was nice and provided a discount on the meal we had.

The Yard an excellent Atlanta City place to eat , get a great meal and walk away beyond satisfied. Special note the server Angel who provided awesome service and guided us to making a great choice from the menu. Thank you for a great AC @ Bally’s experience!!!

Nice and modern restaurant bar. With an outside seating area (currently with live music - bluesy). Theres a covered bar area that is huge (pictures below) with a massive bar and shaded from the scorching sun, yet allows for the ocean breeze to come through and roll off your back. My mocktail (watermelon, Cucumber, lime and ginger beer) is to die for($6 versus the $4 soda). The food was ok. The pickle was homemade and delicious. Service was good but slow, although not the waitresses fault. She had a lot of tables.

Very cool spot for friends or solo. Maggie & Chris are great attentive bartenders 👏 👏 👏.On my first visit, I had a filling shrimp caesar salad and margarita pizza with my favorite go-to drink,Old-fashioned. On my last day before I headed back home, I had a juicy chicken sandwich w homemade chips and a drink called Purple Haze.They also have live bands performing on the weekends.Food good, Atmosphere good, Service great! Ill be back!!

Angel is the best server in town. Weve been coming to AC for years and recently discovered The Yard. The chicken Sando was amazing, ask for extra sauce. Wife loved her salmon. Recognized our server from another favorite spot on the boardwalk. Highly recommended server, great with families, hell take care of you every time.

Apparently we were here and its a good place, however the service is so bad. I understand its a saturday and it can be busy, but waiting 1 hour just to get a drink and getting skipped again and again by different people. MOREOVER, the attitude that was given to me by Mac and Sky was so rude. I hope they do something about these bartenders.

We got share app and it was awful pretzel bites were dry and hard the wings were so small and there were only three of them the cheese steak egg rolls were burnt; tons of tater tots and they were okay. I would not recommend this to anyone yuck. For the money that you pay for the Atlantic City experience I would never recommend or go back here again

Had a live band. They sounded really good.Night Anthem was the name of the band. Definitely you should check them out. They had people up out of their seat. The pretzel I had was real good and drinks was and shots were tasty.

Stopped in on my most recent trip to AC. Just wanted to have something quick so I went with the crab house wings. Great Old Bay flavor and nice and crispy. I look forward to going back again and trying more of the menu.

I am disappointed in this place, waited at the bar for 30 minutes the bartender never looked in my direction. I had to shout out loud looking really rude to get these guy’s attention. After getting the menu to place my order it was another wait. My wife and I did not bother we just leave this place. Smh I spent hundreds of dollars here over the weekend to accept this.

Angel was, just that. An ANGEL. His service was sincere and welcoming, and he provided top advice on what to order. He took great care of us and is one of the main contributing factors as to why the Yard is such a popular spot. Thank you Angel for top notch service - never change!

Not sure why there’s so many negative reviews but me and my Girlfriend had a very pleasant experience. It wasn’t very busy so that may be why our experience was much better. We both got the Yard Salad with grilled chicken which was awesome if you are looking for something light but also full of flavor. The service was good and our waitress was nice as well. The only drawback is it’s a little pricey (17$ for the salads) but also this is a tourist spot so that is kind of a given. Overall a good place to eat!

I had an awesome time, and so did my bf. The band playing that night was so good!! Loved the atmosphere, and the bar tenders were also great as well as the crowd.

I had the wagyu beef hot dog. It was yummy but the peppers to me dont make sense to add on a hot dog. They were too spicy. I had the purple haze drink. I dont know why it was served in a plastic cup. It sounds like a fancy drink. It was way too strong and I couldnt get any hints of coconut or the flower or other flavors. I learned from a bartender at Carousel that they let that drink marinate for a month and I possibly got stuff at the bottom of the barrel :/ he may not have said it like that but thats the impression I got. The whole drink tasted like when you reach the bottom of a good drink..those remaining strong bits of liquor. Dont recommend the purple haze drink. The server did try and help by bringing me something to add into it but it honestly wasnt much better.

We visited The Yard for their New Years Eve party. Tickets were $75/person, and were advertised to include appetizers and open bar from 9-11pm. The atmosphere was modern and nicely decorated. There were a few tables, and our group was lucky enough to grab one when we arrived. The bar service was good. The food, however, was a disappointment. The buffet setup included chips and salsa, soft pretzel bites, truffle fries with optional cheese sauce, flatbread pizzas, salad, and fried chicken sliders. The problem was that it seemed disorganized and unprepared, and they were constantly out of food and plates. This created long lines to wait for a plate or wait for the sliders, etc. The entertainment included a DJ who was decent and a live band that played all 80s music. The bathrooms located immediately outside of The Yard were labeled poorly, and I witnessed people walking into the wrong room a few times. They were also absolutely disgusting. Overall, we had a good time celebrating the new year, but it seems The Yard has some kinks to work out before their next NYE celebration.

They don’t know what a hazy IPA is. We ordered two IPAs and they were Miller lite. Asked for a sample of the beer we ordered and they gave us a sample of Miller lite. Maybe just trying to get rid of a keg? Service was good but when you over pay for beer you at least want what you ordered. Will not come here again

Food was great, and service was quick! The parmesan truffle tots are a must try! The yard 22oz drinks were really good as well!

6/15/2024. Got there 3 minutes before opening and was turned away. Was told to come back later. Terrible customer service on behalf the staff setting up the patio outside. Landshark ended up getting our business.

Very limited menu of a few bar food items like pretzel, wings, and sandwiches. The Florida Man mahi mahi sandwich was good, but the Margarita was poured from a tap, not handmade

Great vibes I was there on a Sunday afternoon. Got to watch the football games. Staff is super nice and friendly.

Some of the bartenders could not be ruder. One of the bartenders was talking about my group to other people Infront if us calling us “rude customers” and “just taking up bar space”. Safe to say I will never be going back

Alittle noisey, service on time. I got the smashburger. It it was ok... nothing speacial. I might would try it again.

The place was very crowded with customers, the waitress stated that seating would be 45 minutes. I gave her my name. We waited about 15 minutes and then was seated for the restaurant. The burger and fries were very good. The chicken wings and celery were good. Good Pepsi soda drinks. Good place to have some food and music.

Overall, just terrible. Never have I seen an overpriced restaurant be so bad in all phases.The Good - the Philly cheesesteak rolls. They were excellent.The Bad - the tots were stale. The pretzel also seemed stale. The burger I ordered was completely tasteless. Even the coke was flat.The Ugly - One of my friends got the fried chicken. He had to peel off the skin and breading because only the meat had any flavor.

Fun spot with a great layout on the boardwalk. The service was fine when I went for lunch and the food was great.

Food was great and quick. Suze helped us with all our needs. She was very helpful with our drinks and guided us on what to order for food.Drinks and service was fantastic. Our bartender, Shawn, took care of us. He kept us entertained and always helped us out! One of the greatest bartenders out there.

This place was a big fat bummer. My husband and I had travelled all day and we were tired and starving and so excited to finally relax and eat. The food was ok; it was as expected. The service was awful. I got a really yummy beer and was planning to order a second but our waiter was constantly MIA. Besides never getting a drink refill (beer and water) we had to wait forever to receive our check and waited so long to pay our bill that I finally just walked it to the bar to cash out. Was it so busy that our waiter was in the weeds? No. The place was dead. Perhaps the empty restaurant was a testament to it’s unreliable service? That’s my guess. Skip this place.

Have been there several times. Right after it opened we enjoyed the food and service at the bar. August 2023, Got a table in the game area and lets just say everything was barely two star. DJ Music was incredibly loud for early evening but I suppose thats the vibe they want. Wish it had stayed as good as last years experiences.

The bar menu had much to choose from and everything we ordered was excellent!! The service was above and beyond! Ryhan was the best waiter and very attentive! Highly recommend!

Great atmosphere, only issue was the $15 pretzel was Stale and hard as a rock but great sauces. wife had The People Margarita no salt on rim and too much sour mix. Not a traditional margarita.Server was awesome.Will I go back? Maybe.

During my night at the yard, the bar staff were extremely rude. They would avoid interaction with customers (not make eye contact or even acknowledge us). Then the 2 older gentlemen bar staff would give dirty looks while we paid. When ordering our second drink one bar staff did not accept a government approved drivers license stating he needs a passport after already accepting the form of ID once already. These 2 older gentlemen worked on the bar during the night of 09/03/2023. I am extremely disappointed due to the unacceptable Behaviour and service of the yard. Would not recommend this bar.

Unprofessional and ghetto. No one even wanted to seat us, I had to walk around to find someone. The hostess didn’t even feel like being bothered. She gave us menus and said sit over there and someone will be with us. No one came over for ~10 minutes. One of the waiters made sure to go around collecting his tips though. We ended up leaving. Never coming here again.

This place was PACKED on Saturday for tidalfest. Wife and I got a table in the afternoon. Terrible woman in front of was really abusing staff. She was miserable. But our server Dave was great. I would have thrown her out but he handled her with grace. He was great for us aswell bringing us water and beers promptly. He even helped me decide on a chicken sandwich over the burger. It was great. Food was fresh and tasty. Well be back next year and hope Dave is there when we eat!

Like many other reviewers, I am also not sure why this place is rated so low. My family and I had a good lunch here and enjoyed it very much. The interior is clean and fun, the menu has a variety of items, and the service was great. We had three entrees that came out in no more than 10 minutes and food was hot and fresh. My Mahi Reuben was delicious. I definitely would recommend this place and would easily come back.

Only come here if you’re someone who wants drink specials and to hangout with college age kids. They have a cool outdoor space with games and fire pits for the summer. We came for food as there wasn’t anything else really appetizing- we should have just ate pizza on the boardwalk. Super expensive even for AC. 30$ for wings and a soda including tax and tip. Only got 8 wings. They were okay but small. One waiter working on a rainy Saturday afternoon with a half filled place. Took about 10 min after sitting for him to come over. Will skip this place from now on.

My husband and I spent 5 days in Atlantic City and we went to the yard, at first it was good. The greeter was quick to greet and seat us, the waiter was quick to get to the table and That is where it all ended! I ordered chicken wings and fries and he ordered a burger and fries, Simple! When we got there, it was just Us in that section and then two women showed up to our left and then a couple to our right! We waited for about 15 minutes before the women showed up, they ordered, got their food, ate it for about 20 minutes. The couple next to us ordered, waited for about 15 minutes, ate it for about 15 more minutes, Finished the food sat and had a conversation and We were Still waiting for our food, Yes, Still waiting! I was ready to start trouble, my mistake Was asking my husband would he be embarrassed if I started trouble, he said Yes! The women noticed that we were still waiting and mentioned the fact that We were there Before them, the couple Also acknowledged us being there Before them! The couple also acknowledged they ordered the Same thing my husband I ordered and received before we did! At that point the lady jumped up and went to who I assume is the manager and complained about Us not getting our food a lot sooner and lo and behold 12 minutes later, here comes our food! That really made me angry, were we an Oversight, Or was it that We were the Only black customers that day and yeah I looked Or did you forget, Either way, I will never go back! Im Sure they wont miss our money but being forgotten about Without an apology has made me Very angry! Thank You to the couple that seemed to care more about us than the restaurant!

Seeing as this is one of the newer venues in AC, expectations were high. Service was inconsistent with being seated and the wait time for a server was not worth it. To go along as well, understanding that your paying AC Resort prices for food and drink, the food was disappointing; burger was worse than what you can find at Applebees or another chain restaurant and the cheese streak egg rolls were not flavorful as well. Overall, not worth the effort to eat at; overpriced and underwhelming.

Great looking place but they are so understaffed 1pm on a Saturday 1 guy in each section and the place got crowded . We got the sampler the tater tots were cold so he replaced them but his response when we said they were cold was weird he said that’s how they came out the kitchen it wasn’t his fault smh. The chicken sandwich , fish sandwich , and sampler was good but the cauliflower wasn’t good it had a little hot sauce on it and that’s it . Hire more staff and make sure everything is hot . It’s bar food good not great

The wings, we ordered the BBQ because the server said the Buffalo Style were spicy (Buffalo Wing Should not be spicy, as Franks Hot Sauce and Butter make them very savory) anyway the BBQ sauce was awful, no flavor no tang just spicy, yuck! The Caesar salad had like , day old dried out grilled chicken on it. Yuck, and we had to pay extra for it! But I needed the protein to hold me over till later in the day, so I dipped the strips into the Bleu Cheese dressing and chewed them down.

Shawn! The absolute best, a legend, a friend, a god amongst men. Best drinks and nicest guy ever. Now for Suze…. WISDOM, best drink and food advice. They made the night epic. I’d invite them to my birthday, Feb 15 in LA, they’re invited!

My Experience at BALLYS was amazing ! The staff was very Friendly Respectful in Courteous , everytime I visit Ballys I always feel welcome Ballys has become my home away from home ! I feel extremely safe when Im at Ballys thanks to the security team Ifeel very Secure on the casino floor , the environment is clean the slot machines is Constantly being wiped down in cleaned off , overall Ballys has become my favorite place the food is amazing at the yard the atmosphere is welcoming the service at Ballys is amazing 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Vibe wasn’t terrible. Ordered shared appetizer platter, probably the worst appetizers we ever had. Waitress(rhymes with Juzy) never once asked how things were or if we needed anything, more drinks, etc. Beer is served in plastics cups. Pretty bad experience. She eventually came by our table one more time, but to drop off the check.

Really enjoyed the 1st time we came because they had great drinks and awesome shareable platters. Went on a Sunday and they had an overpriced buffet and did not offer the regular menu. Very disappointing. Probably won’t be back.

Was that this location Sunday. . . Ordered two cheeseburgers rare.They both came out extremely well done and dry. Bacon was burnt Roll and cheese stale. Would only credit one meal. If you are trying to plan a good weekend don’t eat here. They overbook constantly, and don’t care if you are driving from out of state to see a concert and your reservation time at this place is crucial to making the concert on time. When I asked the manager if she could help us, she said “well you can eat somewhere else.” What is the point of planning ahead and making reservations if your going to let more people take tables then you have for the people who made reservations.Reservation was at 5:45, didn’t get seated until 6:15. Didn’t get my order taken until 15 minutes late. Now we have to rush and eat.

Horrible service . They let their customers drink too much to the point this one guy was so drunk threw up standing there in a puddle of his own drinks . I was waiting for him to fall bump his head and make lots of money because it was a lawsuit waiting to happen. The other guy was cursing at the TV (a game was on) . Very un comfortable so we left . This was only 10 minutes of being there. Horrible!!

What a nasty mess! Had the cod sandwich. Basically grease on a roll. Mrs. Paul has more fish in her filet. Poor waitress working her butt off trying to serve at least 9 tables . Terrible quality of food and I felt terrible this woman was working so hard to service so many people. You should care more about your customers by buying quality food and respect your employees. TERRIBLE!

Who ever the band was that played Friday August 4th was excellent. If u get the right performer what an awesome place to dance and drink. I will pass on the Disney songs the following night but to each there own I guess. Kinda of a gem spot on the considering the state of the boardwalk around it.

I went to the Yard for dinner with a friend of mine and had a mixed experience. The atmosphere was great with a DJ who interacted with the crowd the drinks and food were awesome. The sever was excellent as well but the restaurant was closing at 1000 and we did not know. We didnt know because at 945 we put a food order in after we finished our appetizers and drinks. At 1000 before our food arrived a security guard information us we had to leave. I informed him about the food order and he started asking the staff if my statement was true the manager came over and told us we could stay but by this time the atmosphere had changed because they were closing down. Lights on music off clean up beginning. So we got our food to go which also changed the quality of the food a little bit. While we were packing our meal at the table the security guard and our server started arguing over the incident as two other parties experience the same thing and one of them didnt even tip the sever. I understood the severs point because if I would have followed securitys request I would have left without paying for the appetizers and drinks I already had. I was disappointed in the manager for not really addressing the issue but overall I would give this place another chance because like I said the food and drink are very good.

No stars. The place isnt even open.during the week. Was in AC for a conference mid-week. Lots of signs amazing to go to the Yard. Menu looked okay. Prices are outrageously high like everything in AC. Went to the restaurant to find it was only open on weekends.

I read a lot of good things about The Yard. We finally got a chance to go and try it. We are in Atlantic City often . Our experience started out good. The restaurant was pretty much empty. At first our waitress was attentive. It was chilly and they put the heaters on without being asked. Then a party of 8 came in . Some of them were clearly intoxicated. One made a big stink about how hot he was. They moved them but turned off the heaters forgetting about the rest of the patrons in the restaurant. They turned on one fan which happened to be the one above our table not near the complaining bunch. It then became freezing to the point that none of us finished our meal. Our waitress now was focused on the large drunk group. No o e came to check on us. No manager was to be seen . It was clear we were unhappy. Our check was handed to us without a word about dessert or boxes . Then our waitress didn’t return so we could pay . We had 2 $10 off offers . She only used one. We were so frustrated that we didn’t even argue . We just left . At this point I don’t think we would ever go back.

Starchy American food - which isnt for me but you might like that. Live bands Friday through Sunday... no horn sections. Kind of like, wedding bands. (FYI If you like dance bands with horns, theres the Hard Rock lobby bar on a Friday / Saturday night.) Dance floor at the Yard is amazing but not many people on it.

Very disappointed. My wife and I along with a friend stopped in at The Yard to get lunch today. First, we sat at the bar (the bartender was very friendly) and we ordered a draft beer. The sun was strong which made sitting at the bar uncomfortable. So, we squared up our tab and went and spoke with the hostess who sat us under an umbrella on the outside patio. Nice setting. She gave us menus and said our waitress would be right over. We sipped on our beers (which we brought from the bar) and chatted. After twenty minutes, I went up to the hostess and let her know we would like to order lunch, but no server had come over to us. She said she would get somewhere right away. Ten minutes later, we had finished our beer and still there was no waitress. With no waitress in sight, we left. Lunch at Cuba Libra was great service and delicious. I gave this review 2 stars instead of 1 star because the bartender was nice. Recommendation, skip The Yard and find another place to go.

Nice place. Went on Saturday when they opened so it wasnt busy. Wings not that great. The bacon cheddar cheeseburger and fries pretty good. Drinks are a little light on the alcohol. Pricing not bad. I will give it another shot during the night when they have live entertainment to see how the place is.

This place is never over packed (at least whenever I go), but it surely has the potential to being a great spot to eat, drink and hang out!!! Although I do miss Harrys I do like its replacement thought The Yard!!!

I have ate here twice and this place is awful. The service is bad and the menu always a question mark as to what they have in stock. Burgers aren’t cooked properly and the food is just bland. I’ve spoke to other people, and their experience is very similar. Changes are needed for this place to succeed maybe rebranding at this point.Harry’s the previous restaurant was amazing and is missed.

Confused by the negative comments and low starred reviews here. It was a great spot for a beer and some quick food (with large portions!), and the staff was absolutely lovely. Matter of factly, the staff made it all that much better ! They were joking around with us and were very personable the whole time.

1st visit & last visit. too many bugs they come as soon as food shows up. Im fan one hand & insect still land on sandwich w/other hand. We could not finish meal only few bites. 3 flying insect jump in the ketchup like a swimming pool 😂 Pls put up nets or smoke repellent... anything 😕

Went here around 8 pm on a Wednesday and the place was busy. I asked to sit outside and was told that it was self serve and you can order at the bar and then go sit. I didnt want to wait standing at the bar for a food order, so I found a seat at the bar.Service was quick. They were out of my first choice draft beer but they did have my second choice, Bells Amber Ale (22oz, $11).The food was below par. The New England Clam Chowder (small bowl, $13) was mostly broth with hardly any clams or potatoes in it. It didnt even come with any crackers to try and make up for it. The Blackened Mahi ($29) was tasty, but it was overcooked and dry I had to use a knife to cut through the blackened side.Finding a dinner spot later in the evening can be a challenge since there arent very many people around and some places are only open on the weekends. But, I will definitely put this place last on my list when staying at or near Ballys.

Server was good but food not so good!!! Fried cauliflower was greasy cheese steak egg roll same bland ! Wife had Turkey club was ok house chips stale !! Really Bring Back Harry’s Oyster more variety of food!

Food was not available in the area we were in, ok. The bar service was less than ideal but the place was packed with 200 plus people so Ill concede. All in all it was a great night, the Billy Walton Band whipped the crowd to a frenzy in a more than generously sized room. Ill definitely go back.

We wondered in by accident and so glad we did. We Sat at the bar, our bartender was so informative and attentive. I highly recommend the Smokey Margarita sooo good. We also had the Tuna stack and charbroiled oysters both were amazing.. From the bartenders to the servers to the food We thoroughly enjoyed all, looking forward to our next visit.

The atmosphere and food were good, but there was a sign promoting discounted drinks during the time we were there and none of the servers knew about it or honored it. The server also added a tip to our bill but didn’t give us an itemized receipt. If I hadn’t asked for an itemized receipt I wouldn’t have known and would have double tipped (which is their intention). Generally shady business practices

Staying at Bally’s, Had high hopes for The Yard at dinner time. Asked for a table and hostess said they are all reserved (remained mostly empty) and said we can sit at the bar. Oddly enough I checked Open Table and could have reserved a table on the spot. We squeezed into two chairs at the bar and after a long wait, bartender asked if we wanted drinks so we ordered two and immediately told us the charge, I said we would like to order some food which was a limited short bar menu. As soon as we placed an order she immediately told us again the amount and couldn’t wait to charge your card felt so rushed. They had a dinner menu but only bar menu was being offered. So much for $18 wings and $12 tater tots not my idea of dinner.

Second time I’ve been here and it didn’t disappoint. The band was awesome and the Snack Attack is our favorite shareable! The Philly Rolls are good too! Thuan was our server and super friendly!

This place is extremely racist ! They refuse to sit black people and tell them it’s a private event when clearly it’s an open public establishment. I came here visiting from Los Angeles and noticed all black people were denied a seat or to be served but all other races were being served.I will also be reporting the business to business bureau and sharing this story with local news.You should not treat people that way and nobody should be supporting this company.The staff was also extremely rude

Cool vibe but we waited 40 minutes and still didnt even have a drink on our table. And that was after I already had to ask the hostess where our waiter was 20 min in. We thought this would be a quick bite to eat! Ended up leaving without anything.Worth noting there were 5 tables with people at them and 8 people behind the bar. Waiter also had a mask at his chin whats the point?

Absolutely horrible. Food selection limited, atmosphere was dry, watered down drink, and you cant even eat at the bar....it was the middle of the 2nd game on football Sunday. They will be closed soon. At least I know I will never go there again.

Disappointed. 1st time there, several tables were filthy, uncleared for the duration of our time there, staff and management was disorganized, although tables were open, took 10 mins to find someone to seat us. Food was bland, service was a joke, wait staff very slow, several tables near us were leaving, had to look for waiter to pay bill and still took another 10 mins or so to come back w check, then they took over another 10 mins to bring my change after going to get them… he was talking at the bar. Definitely recommend crossing this place of the where to eat list.

We came here after a race so it was a modified food menu. Very good. Only 2 bar tenders but they were hustling, not a long wait. Has some games inside and out. Really enjoyed our experience.

Horrible… I can’t comment on the food because a server never came to our table. I went to the hostess and wanted a table outside. Should be named “The Backyard Trash Can”Food was absolutely awful and service was the worst. Sad thing is they weren’t even busy and now I completely understand why. Should’ve read the reviews first. Fried chicken must’ve been cooked in the same oil as the fish because the fried chicken was “fishy” never had that one happen before. Burgers are frozen meat and they didn’t have the time to cook it all the way through I guess? Cheesesteak eggrolls? I could’ve put money down that the meat in those egg rolls were definitely not cheesesteak and they were nauseating. The one thing I looked forward to on my plate was the pickle and it was flavorless more like a cucumber. Finally hunted our waiter down and he was asking if we wanted boxes and we said no and explained that the food was not the greatest and he said oh you should’ve told me and I would’ve had the kitchen make you something else. If all 4 of us had awful food why would we want to wait 45 minutes for something just as awful to come out? No discount for poor service or rechid food. Bill was 150ish for 4 people expected much better everything for that price. Will never go back or recommend to anyone. Take it to the backyard trash can.

Our first time there, the Lady at the reservation booth was rude and said we needed a reservation. We gave her our name and when we went back she told us no table as yet. Her tone of voice just set us off to go elsewhere. If you dont like your job, quit.....

Did not have the beer we wanted, chose a 2nd choice ok. For 2nd beers asked for what was listed Fat tire red ale gave us amber ale. When questioned bartender said yep thats the fat tire 🥴Bar staff needs to be more knowledgeable about their products. Service time was fine. Did not eat but menu looked appetizing good options. If youre looking for a unique beer experience would not recommend.

Ok food better surroundings. Chicken sandwich bacon was burnt, chips were cold and burger was mediocre. They also up charge for things like lettuce, tomato and other items. Better Options on boardwalk for the price unless the setting compensates for the food quality.

Had the pleasure of seeing a fantastic band at The Yard with a decent experience overall. The drinks were expensive and weak. Long Island Iced Teas were 85% coke and sour/lemon juice. They also were only comprised of vodka, gin, and rum. Vodka lemonades had barely any discernable amount of vodka. The Vodka RedBulls were all RedBull. Also, I understand the need to keep the space warm, but the heat lamps in the ceiling were a bit excessive for the type of event being held. Anyone dancing was soon overheated, and those directly under the lamps were being roasted.

Waited over 2 hour for our food but people that came in way after us got served never got our food but had to pay 24.00 for two drinks and a pretzel we got up and left. You think after 2 hours no food they would have taken care of our 24.00 bill .If you hungry go somewhere else.

If you’re looking for an outside venue to eat and drink go somewhere better on the boardwalk. We asked if we could in some way order food and eat outside and they said that wasn’t allowed as we watched two tables eating food outside. Apparently that wasn’t supposed to happen and the host had no idea what to say. Everyone is for the most part now inside so they can eat so what’s the point of having a dj outside. On top of that; spread the word, pretty sure Bally’s is a racist company as the other day at Beach Bar and this weekend at The Yard the di said they weren’t allowed to play Hip Hop. We heard multiple people requesting songs they couldn’t play so they left. Are you kidding me? So they’re only isolating that genre of music? Because everything else was played. If you don’t want that culture present there or black people you should be honest about that. I’m not even black and was offended so we left. That was the last straw.

Stay away from this place.We wanted to check out the place and the food.It was so fast in and out.The greeter is clueless, then decided to start talking to some other patron that arrived with a party. Then 2 other very young girls asked us if we were the party of 15 ppl. Obviously NOT!The greeter decided to takes us to a corner, i asked for another table since the one she wanted us to sat us was right beside loud speakers.As we got ready to sat down, i noticed the table was dirty, was wet and has small straw wrapper on it as well. Obviously it had not been cleaned properly! Who does that kind of nasty 🤢 clean up, specially when we are still dealing with COVID. Stay away from this place! We walked out, i was disgusted by the service and their tables. If i could give - 5 stars, i would!

It was just meh. Took me and my friend almost 14 minutes sitting at the bar, with 3 bar tenders mind you. There were only about 50 ppl total in thd bar. Just to get a blue moon and an angry orchard. Then the bill came, and it was $20!!! Lol...Thats higher than what Id pay at an upscale bar in Manhattan. NOPE, will not be back.

I understand being a faux indoor outdoor eating area means you cant fully control the temperature but all our food came out cold, the drinks were decently priced compared to other places on the boardwalk which was nice but it seems they care more for flash than substance. I ordered a pretzel and it was legitimately about a foot around but barely had any substance and was ice cold.

Stumbled upon this walking the boardwalk looking for a place to eat. The menu was limited tonight but had a selection for everyone. The food was delicious and Anfanee, our server, was very pleasant even though he was clearly very busy. So glad we found it.

Large open air space with a long bar, stage, and high top tables. Came here for lunch. I liked having a nice breeze, and the food was great. I liked hearing the band at night and the yard games.

The vibes here are super chill and they have a good beer selection, however the food was not good. I would suggest if youre coming here for the beer and vibes, stick to the bread. The meat was all cooked to death and dried out.

This place is racist. This place made my party wait for over half an hour and told us sections were closed but they sat white people. We were instructed to eat at the bar and they didnt serve us. They treated us as we were invisible. We ended up wasting over an hour of our time and didnt even order. Dont go here. They treat people of color terribly and they dont have it together.

Staying at Ballys. The music is too loud on top of the fact that whoever they hired for a band SUCKS. All night on 9/3/22, we listened to some off-key horrible woman singer who makes my 5year old students sound like opera singers. So not only were we subjected to lack of peace, but the band/singer were an absolute joke.

If you are what they consider “Black” they will have you waiting for your order on top of that they don’t get you what you ask for. And they will give you an actitud for not getting you what you ask for. Thank you for your horrible service.

Staying in this hotel a few floors above, music blasting, can hear every drum beat and bass shaking through the window. No reason to be this loud. Even with blind close lights still flashing through its 2:00 in the morning

Had one drink and it cost $15.75 with the ice it was still not as full as the price. At home the same drink cost $10.00 .What a mark up.

This is my first time at The Yard at Ballys since they opened. I highly recommend this place. The drinks and food is pricey but well worth it. Will definitely return again.

Can’t even comment on the food or drinks because we waited over 20 minutes and never even saw a menu or had a waiter come over to our table. Tried to stop a manager to have someone come over and he told us because we didn’t have menus a server wouldn’t come over…. Don’t know how that process would ever work but we will never be coming back.

Looked like it had potential but wasn’t impressed. Service was slow, food was okay, pickle was just a cucumber, “Draft” beer came out of a can and was warm.

Really didn’t even want to give it one star. Hostess and severs were rude. Place was empty and couldn’t even get a table. Spoke to a manager and he was just as rude gave the excuses that they were short staffed, that is no reason to be rude and nasty to customers.

Large venue with bar, dance floor, tables inside. Has outdoor tables and yard games. Has live bands and DJs. Bar drinks are very overpriced.
