Celebrated a birthday here and our server Emily was amazing. Her busser/SA were attentive and our entire group and the birthday girl had a great time.Music and lighting was on point and the volume wasnt too loud to the point you go home ears ringing.Liquor and beer selection was commendable for a night club, but the staff from the entrance line to the restroom attendant and security were all quite professional. Will likely be back.
Nice s e t ting with a bar like atmosphere. Food is good at a reasonable price. Not easy to find free parking so expect to pay for parking. Customer service is average but detailed. Impossible burger is good as well as their shrimp and calamari. Brunch experience is nice and mimosas are good. Nice for small and large groups. Overall the food and cocktails are good for the price. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND that they place rules on what is considered appropriate dress code as they do deny individuals who dont wear a belt or have certain attire on but nothing on website explains what is considered Proper Attire. The customer. . service and not having rules on proper attire is why they recieved a 3 instead of a 4 in my book.
Went for a Bat Crawl and was never given a wristband. We asked for a simply for a mimosa, was sold a Mimosa tower. I was told we could take it to go with our food. I was approached twice by staff when I was given the wrong information. Don’t come here unless you want to be overcharged and mislead for a upsell .
Me and my cousin went to this bar after the Super Bowl. I go to the bar and order two margaritas. He only served me one so as I’m trying to get his attention again to let him know that I wanted to. He keeps brushing me off, basically saying I give your drink. So my cousin comes back from the restroom and I was explained to him what was going on. He also tries to flag the way the bartender down to order himself a drink, but they’re ignoring us and they’re doing it on purpose it seems. They were too busy, making TikTok videos and flirting with the group next to us while they’re throwing money at them. we ended up, leaving with nothing. We were only there for a matter of 10 minutes, and I really hate to pull the race car but in that moment, I just didn’t feel Comfortable being black in this establishment!!
We came on NYE and the place was lit. The DJ was phenomenal and the crowd was good for the most part. It was super packed and security kept running back and forth and would push you out of the way if you didn’t see them which was a bit off putting but oh well. Drinks are weak and watered down, we got a Long Island iced tea and couldn’t even taste any alcohol. Still had a great time though.
Im not from Texas but honey Ill be back here when I come. The place is huge, lots of screens and seating. Food was so good we had wings, sausage rolls, fries, mozzarella sticks, calamari and a TOWER which is like 2L of which ever drink u pick we did mimosa. There is a roof top with a full bar, restrooms and out door games. The view is amazing!!
Great view, good food, everything else not good. The staff seemed more focused on volume than customer service. The male bartender probably high-volume bartender, nice guy but needs work on his customer service. Female bartender gave great customer service. Very cliquish, not the place for tourist, across from a mens strip club. The name says it all. Very Fake.
New GM is awesome!! Convinced a friend who had a bad experience here a couple years ago to come back. This a place to come on the regular, best music in the DFW.
Atmosphere was dope but food and service were horrible. Wings were filthy and they tried to pass some Members Mark off as Dusse. Highly WOULD NOT recommend
Richard from Bottled Blonde WAS AMAZING along with all the other bouncers! We felt so safe and had the best experience. Thank you bottled blonde
We had an amazing experience at the club! The owner and staff were great. The atmosphere was vibrant, the service was top-notch, and we genuinely had a great time. Were already looking forward to coming back for another fantastic evening. Highly recommend!
I am currently sitting at the bottled blonde bar and having an amazing time. This is one of the best tequila sours I have ever had, happy st. pattys day. Gig em.
DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT EVERYTHING STOLEN. The absolute worst establishment I have been to. You are targeted and pickpocketed. I had a purse that was tightly latched, and I left home with nothing. I went in the next day to find 5 other girls there that wallets & phones went missing as well. They are running a whole crime ring out of this bar and management sees the issue but ignores. When asked the worker annoyingly checked in the back for my phone and was back within 2 seconds, so Im pretty sure nothing was even checked. definitely target people who are dressed nice and take theyre stuff. I literally beg you, if you want to go home with a wallet and phone that night DO NOT GO HERE AND MANAGEMENT WILL NOT HELP. I will be filing a police report but just wanted to warn everyone to prevent what happened to me from happening to someone else.
Eva was a great host. She took care of all of our needs. Made sure we had a blast. If you come here, make sure you ask for her!
Super clean high end bar. We got a table for bachelor party and it was a success. The bottle service was superb. Appetizers were delicious and the atmosphere was top notch!
Staff is incredibly rude. Stay away from this place. I witnessed the bouncer throw a girl and proceeded to hit her. There is no reason for a bouncer to hit a girl. Will not be coming back. Advise others to think twice about coming here.
Got a section and lived our best lives although it was a late start to our night
I am deeply disappointed with my experience at Bottled Blonde on July 21st, 2023. My friend and I decided to spend the evening at the club, and we only got one drink on this card which was only about $10 for my friend considering I do not drink that often. However, as I checked my phone weeks later, I was shocked to discover a charge of $346.50. I immediately sought assistance from three different bartenders, hoping to resolve the situation. Instead, I encountered a lack of accountability and unprofessionalism. The responses I received from the bartenders were inconsistent and unhelpful. I heard phrases like, Wheres your receipt? and Youre going to have to talk to the manager, but the resolution remained elusive. This lack of assistance left me feeling frustrated and helpless. To make matters worse, I was treated unfairly and unjustly when I was repeatedly flashed with a light and then forcibly removed from the premises by a tall security staff member. During this altercation, my phone was dropped and subsequently stepped on, leaving it shattered. In the days that followed, I made multiple attempts to contact Bottled Blonde to seek a resolution, leaving voicemails, but received no response. As a woman, I expected to be treated respectfully and fairly, and the treatment I received that night was unacceptable. The situation escalated further when I reached out to my credit card company to dispute the transaction, only to be directed back to Bottled Blonde. This left me feeling helpless and frustrated. I am not only upset with the establishment for the financial loss I incurred due to the unjust charge but also for the physical and emotional distress I experienced during and after this incident. I had to purchase a new phone due to the damage caused, which was an additional unexpected expense. I am left with no choice but to voice my strong dissatisfaction with Bottled Blonde and to caution others about the treatment I received. I hope that this complaint will prompt the club to address the issues I encountered and improve their customer service to prevent such incidents in the future.
My second time here at 1a on 11/12/2023 is also my last time. This wannabe establishment needs to close by 10p. It’s failing with its lame excuse for a night life scene. If you are out to have a good time, don’t come here. If you are out to dance, don’t come here. If you are out for good music, don’t come here. If you are out to possibly meet even slightly attractive people, don’t come here. If you would like to be treated with respect, don’t come here. And if this prevents even one person from coming here, I’m happy with my job. Here’s what happened to make me write my first review ever: I was vibing, by myself as usual, actually getting very bored because the dj sucked. Bad choice of songs and switched them way too fast to even get in the groove. There’s also NO DANCE FLOOR. Just a thin walking area between weak sections lining the walls and the irresponsibly placed bar in the middle of the floor. But I tried.I was behind a seating section, and noticed a lady sitting in the seat in the section, staring right in my face. I stared back until the lights got in my eyes. Then continued dancing. I didn’t think anything of it.Later on a security guy comes up as a different man tried to grind on me. I thought the security was saving me. But this is what he actually said:“Some people are complaining about you being in their section, so I’m going to have to ask you to move.”I was initially in disbelief, but I moved right away. He went back to his post, albeit with a customer who was trying to mark her territory with him…and after I thought about it a few more moments, I went up to him and asked what was even said. I told him I come by myself and haven’t touched or bothered anyone, and I’m physically BEHIND their section, not even in it. He kind of repeated himself, and then I pressed that it didn’t make any sense. He finally said that “it was probably one of the females who was offended that you were by their dude.”Oh ok. Me looking good, vibing and having fun, is offensive to an ugly lady who has her own whole section with her own whole ugly dude that nobody wants. And now I have to move? Got it.So I went to find a manager. I asked a lady at the desk right before you go into the main bar floor. She pointed outside and said “the guy in the black polo,” and there were two that fit that description. I asked “is it the black guy, or the non black guy?” And she explicitly and stupidly said “the Mexican looking one”So I went up to the man this untrained lady described, and asked him if he was the manager. He laughed and was kind of dismissive, not making eye contact. So I stood my ground and asked who’s the manager. He nodded his head towards…a “man” who looked exactly like you would expect a sleazy bar manager to look.As I was expressing my frustrations, it didn’t take long for me to realize doing that and this manager was a lost cause. He kept looking off and getting distracted, but I would stop and wait patiently for his attention. He also didn’t comprehend the layout of the bar he apparently managed, because he couldn’t figure out where I was standing from my description of the bar…and the third and final straw was him basically saying I could’ve been kicked out and shrugging his shoulders. I just walked away and will not be returning. Went to Green Light Social and they took good care of me!I’m glad I never spent any money or more of my precious time here. And I don’t think this place is smart enough to actually be functionally racist. But they definitely don’t cater to black women.
A woman who works there, that I will keep nameless, was very prejudice towards my friends and I. Her attitude is not acceptable for this kind of environment. She was extremely rude. Management has to do better about hiring people who are caring and respectful of all people.
I started off having a great time at bottle blonde till i did not receive my credit card or my ID back. I have called them at least 10 times and i get no call back. I also came there already and tried to collect my stuff for them to only tell me they do not have it. I had to order another ID and credit card. I need a manager to call me back because not only did i spend 3,000 dollars there but i got a parking ticket for coming another day for them to only tell me they did not have it. My time and money was wasted and there was no good outcome. Also your bar tender was super rude when i asked her if she was sure.
Oh its heaven. People get crazy over here. people become hippie over here. Got drunk dance like no one is watching you and forget about everything. Forget self and involve in this insane craziness. Drink & Observe people. But yes be decent else bouncers will throw you out. Lols. ;-). Be old enough to get into it.
IN MY OPINION: i believe this is the most dangerous, unsafe and un-fun bar in Dallas. I urge ladies in particular to not go here. It is my opinion that this bar is a safe space for predators and generally awful people. It seems like the staff cater to these types and don’t offer any sort of protection for women. I was violently groped here last october and then when i tried to defend myself by pushing the man off of me, i was pushed and knocked around and threatened by him and his friends no one stopped it, apart from my 5’6 girlfriend. We went to report what happened to a bouncer and the bouncer seemed shocked and he asked for a description of the person. We gave a detailed description of him, down to the jewelry he was wearing (which was very unique). We even pointed at him as he hadnt really moved. The bouncer left quickly as if he was going to take care of it. The bouncer left and was no where to be seen. He did nothing. Didnt even try and talk to the guy. It feels like he was Just trying to seem like he cared when he didnt. This bar is the reason i dont go out anymore. So if youre looking for a fun night out dont go here…. In my OPINION
So, I went to meet some friends tonight for the cowboys/giants game, the shorter light brown hair door guy checks my id , doesn’t say hi or have fun, my third step in, he’l says “hey sorry no giants jerseys or cowboys jersey “. Man it’s a sports bar, I said really ? He said yes , so I leave. I’ve owned bars and club in Texas , and was in the industry for 15 years, never heard “cowboys jerseys only” it’s Sunday night football game. Unbelievable. I will let everyone know and will get dallas morning news involved as my family member is a writer for the newspaper. Don’t support this place. Horrible
Definitely crowded looks like the bar does well. Just wished more people were dancing and having a good time. I’m sure people enjoy it, but it’s not my preference for a nightclub experience. Music was just lacking energy and I wasn’t impressed by the DJ. Would have loved to hear more dance/house music. My group and I were just bored.
I was starting to become a regular as I came before a few times, no issues. Some reason they kicked me out at nearly 12 am,when I was there since 7pm today May 12. I go by myself usually, keep to myself and dont talk to people unless spoken to and try my best to stay out of the way. As I do each time I go. I recieved no explanation either. It went like Are you here by yourself? Could you follow him for me? Than a sorry by a different bouncer. The absolute only thing I can think of is that I had white hair which again makes as much sense as this scenario to me as I was already having a bad day and this WAS one of my favorite spots.
The security at this place sucks. After closing, security stood by and watched 5 guys viscously assault 2 individuals, with one being hit with a beer bottle. The beer bottle came from inside bottled blonde and the icing on the cake is the perpetrators were underage. Stay far away from this place.
THEFT - There is a ring of thieves operating in this place. Daughters phone and purse stolen- turns out this happens often. Many people have had their phone and purse stolen there. Management must be in on the scam because apparently they shrug it off. What happens is someone will approach you and distract you while their cohort steals, your phone and purse when you are not looking. They have it all on security camera. But obviously Dallas not interested in prosecuting thieves anymore. If you like having your stuff stolen, then this is the place for you.
Do not go here, I’ve heard of the bad theft going on at this place and it is 100% true. Had my wallet stolen right out of my purse when someone shoved into me. Authorities did nothing. Woke up to hundreds of dollars of fraud charges at the mall. Be safe and STAY AWAY!!!!!
This bouncer was pushing a young blonde female and shining a light down her shirt. When I walked over there to ask if she was ok he pushed me and called 4 other security guards to choke me out. This is a RACIST CLUB. 5 black men on 1 white female. Common here how racist can you be by picking out white only people and picking on them. I watched this bouncer treat a young female so awful and disgusting. Do not come here if you wanna be safe or have a good time. They will take advantage of young white females!!
If I could give it less than one star I would. The staff was rude and racist. They definitely treated us differently than they did our white friends. The rules of how upstairs versus downstairs make no sense, and the music was not as good at it could have been. I will never ever be going back. I have never been so mistreated by the staff of an establishment. And truly no one should go here. There are far better places to spend your money.
This place should be closed immediately. There are serious scams going on. My wallet was stolen from my purse and charge hundreds of dollars the next day at Target. I 100% think it was a bouncer or one of the female bar tenders. I dont feel safe going here as a woman and Id warn everyone against going. Ive been coming here for 2 months and its just dangerous at this point.
Fine mix of vibes - the downstairs is more like a club atmosphere and the upstairs is a bit more chill. It’s a good place to come for people from out-of-town trying out deep Ellum. Good variation in crowds - people of all sorts come here. You may catch Ezekiel Elliot or Dak Prescott here in the off-season scoping out Dallas’s white women.
My husband and I went and this place has more of a club vibe so if you’re not into that I wouldn’t recommend going. However if you like the club vibe I’d recommend it. We had a good time the music is good you can dance. It’s loud so if you think you’re going there to talk while you drink I don’t see that happening. Also there is always a line to get in.
There is no racism here. There is no bad service. Drinks are not overpriced. Beers are not lukewarm. Staff is not waiting to see who they can rob or kick out. None of this is true. Two truths and a lie:1. After visiting this place you understand why its named so.2. You WILL regret your decision to go here the next morning if not that same night.3.A lie.
This place is a beer garden and pizza joint, and apparently theres a dress code.. my husband short were too long? So should he have worn daisy dukes or was he have been turned around too? But half the girls ate almost naked so too much clothes is not okay?
Gameday atmosphere is impeccable. I loved the Seafood platter and truffle fries. The cocktails are also pretty good.
Do NOT I REPEAT DONT COME HERE !!! My friend got her walletStollen right from her purse there’s a lotOf theft here !! If u do decide to come plz bring a closed purse ladies don’t talk to no one here that’s how my friend got her things stolen they distracted her and boom out of nowhere nomore car keys and wallet management did nothing just a simple ‘oh yea they allways steal here ‘
This place had its bouncers kick me out for no explanation and broke my phone on the process I contacted police, but unfortunately they didn’t do nothing either. I was literally standing by the bathroom waiting for my friend to get out when they forced me out, and when I requested to talk to their superiors they refused. Never coming to this place again, after the bad service. Don’t come to this place they see you as a cash grab and don’t treat their customers with respect or dignity. They see every person as a drunk thing who isn’t conscious of the situation they are in. And their drinks are expensive on top of that.
Best Service! , Best Staff super friendly. I was very happy they reopen I love coming to bottled for their delicious pizza and wings. I feel safe here as well super clean. I love the measurements they have taken to keep people safe. You just have your mask on at all times unless you are seated and eating. Even to the bathroom which I thought was great have your mask on at all times. Over all super fun to be at the music is great and the atmosphere. I recommend this to anyone that visits Dallas. 💗⭐️ Six stars cause five isn’t enough.
Tried to purchase table for bottle service at this establishment and denied me entry because I was wearing Nike Dunks. I was told that was against the dress code which was fine but then they continued to let people in with Nikes. Racist establishment and they honestly should be shut down. I was prepared to spend $$$$ and they denied me that possibility in the Dallas location. I’m visiting from Miami, FL and I was not expecting this. 0/10 . The bouncer I spoke with his name was Malcom.
I went here for my first time today because they hosted pizza fest. I ordered 1 alcoholic beverage and they charged 26$ PLUS a 5% venue charge. This is the most I have ever paid for a beverage in my life and I am from New Jersey and went NYC often. I have never paid a venue charge or that much for a single beverage before. This place definitely upcharged their prices for the event and are making out like bandits. Very disgusting to see. Not for nothing it took me about 15 minutes to actually order my drink. Even though they were hosting an event this does not mean they should be charging this much or making their customers waiting this long. Cant believe people still go to this restaurant! I would give zero stars if I could!
Had a table reservation and was confused as to why it was taking so long to get in. Then the door staff walked by the line asking if anyone was with a table reservation and he got me straight in. He was very helpful given how busy the place was and given how many people were trying to talk to him at the same time. Bottle service was good and the security guy at our table was very helpful and even got us to a VIP restroom! Great experience!
They were only allowing “VIP/Bottle service”downstairs which is the main area and dance floor. The general admission was only allowed upstairs which had a line wrapped around the building, mind you it was still early around 9:30pm.We waited in line for about 20 min for the downstairs area because there was a male security stating if we wait, we can enter eventually. We were then approached by another male stating downstairs is only for VIP and we were told incorrectly and wasted our time.Used to enjoy coming here but recently they are just doing nothing but attempting to pressure folks into buying $350 bottles and tables. That’s why your downstairs was still empty around 11:30, continue to pressure your patrons and they will find there are plenty of other options to go to.
Fun atmosphere, ladies restroom attendant keeps it clean and its nice
The bartender literally walked past me and made eye contact multiple times and served everyone else around us that came up after. I have no clue why. I waited for about 15 min just to get a drink and on top of that, I had went to the bathroom while waiting and THEN thats when the guy I was with was able to order our drinks... like what? I probably would have tipped better with having a restaurant background.. otherwise it was a good time and a great environment but I probably wont be back unfortunately.
As soon as the DJ had a good song playing he would change the song LITERALLY every 10 seconds and I didnt even have a chance to dance to the song. Full open air bar felt great and had nice vibes and great seating Im just disappointed the DJ didnt hold his end of the bargain. Nice bathrooms. Nice venue! Not to its full potential. TERRIBLE DJ!
Skylar , was very prejudice towards Black women. Very rude and not friendly at all. NOT A PLACE FOR BLACK PEOPLE !!! You will be treated differently. Would not recommend anyone to come if you are not a certain race/ethnicity.. very sad !
When I first arrived for our paid section three others and myself were denied access. Which of course upset me so we had our party came to get us. As we were quickly allowed access afterwards I asked for bouncer name as he rightfully declined. We did enjoy our drinks and service in our section. At the end of the night I was able to speak with the bouncer and we were able to communicate the mishap which ultimately ended the night wonderfully. I’d definitely like to praise this bouncer privately to upper management if given the opportunity.
Am just frustrated that they keep saying they ran out of non-alcoholic drinks yet it seems pretty clear they dont stock any. They should know not everyone wants to get drunk.
Despite the not so good reviews about Bottle Blonde I actually had a good time and good service. I went to help out with a bar crawl and from the door folks, to the bartenders, to the servers everything was great. The people were welcoming and the music and atmosphere were just fun. Even the food was great! My friend and I shared their 10 supreme pizza it was delicious and more than enough for the both of us! I wonder about the atmosphere during the day versus night, so the jury is still out on this spot for me, so for now I will give it 4 stars and I will have to check out them out again.
Seemed like a great place to go, I heard about a good rooftop and good drinks. However I was turned away due to not meeting the unlisted “dress code”. Bouncer was also incredibly unprofessional. For those wondering I was wearing white shoes, tailored khaki pants, and a clean shirt. Bouncer seemed more interested in my female friends. We took our business next door to a bar with a much better vibe! I would recommend going there.
After reading the reviews, I’m glad I’m not the only person that feels the same way about this place. There’s definitely some type of racial discrimination going on in this place that is mostly aimed at East Indians. I’ve noticed that people waiting to get in are mostly turned away when they are any shade of brown, while all the others are welcomed right away. I’m hispanic but look East Indian and every time im in line, I get dirty looks or treated leas than human by the dude managing the entrance. The Tall, skinny, white dude at the entrance seems to live and breath Jim Crow laws, you can see the hate towards minorities in his eyes. The head of security is a short black guy who is bald on top but pony tail in the back, seems to be okay and even encourage this behavior from his employees, self hate much?
This place does not like black people and it’s painfully obvious. I’ve come on several occasions hoping for a different experience, but I constantly see everyone (non POC) serviced before me even if I was waiting first. Tonight I watched several bartenders make eye contact with me and continue walking. I waved at one, he ignored me. I asked a bar back if I could get a drink, he threw his hand towards the bartender with a very nasty attitude. I asked if he could help me get his attention, he again did the same gesture and walked away. Horrible service, horrible way to treat human beings who cannot help the color of their skin. I’m nothing but nice to the employees here. I bartend myself so I understand being busy, they were not even remotely busy tonight. So to blatantly ignore a guest and to blatantly be rude for no reason, is appalling and despicable. I would never treat a guest at my bar that way. And management obviously condones this, because I continue to hear of the same experience from other POC, which means they are continuing to hire these heartless people and do absolutely nothing when these complaints are brought to their attention. Will never spend my hard earned money in this establishment again.
This is going to sound crazy, but Im at an event on the rooftop right now (10:30pm on Friday), and the bar does not have enough change for a $100 bill, so they said they cant sell me a drink with cash right now. My options are to use a card or go somewhere else to break my large bill for smaller ones.
All around trash establishment. Low-life security, trash owners, and weirdo patrons. Won’t be going back.
Cool spot. Beer pong tournament happened after I got there. Cool vibe. Drink prices a little high though for how generic they are. Bouncers and staff were friendly. But service was pretty slow and theyre werent even my people there. But still, pretty solid place
Frat bro central along with those that still think they are in a frat. It either is your scene or its not. Food is okay but theres plenty of better options in the area. Also, depending on the time, dont expect to be able to talk to anybody because the music is so loud.
Well didnt get to try the food or drinks because they wouldnt let me in said my shorts were too long , was wearing dickie cargo shorts and a polo shirt , unfortunately me and my wife had to leave but the other 4 in our birthday party group they let in. Very disappointed because I saw what others had on.. Im a grown man not a 21 year old but females are almost wearing no clothes. Ive heard of shorts being too short but too long? Cmon!
Say goodbye to your hearing, if you want to meet new people this isn’t the place to go. You’re gonna have a lot of “what” so you better have great body language. Dancing is fun thou! Drinks are somewhat averagely priced.
Wish I could give this place zero stars. The staff are complete tool bags. It’s not a safe place for females to go. I felt so uncomfortable. The wait staff were friends with multiple males there that were regulars who made it very uncomfortable for me and all of my friends to be there. The general manager is a complete scum bag. The waitresses sat us down at our table and never once came back to pour our drinks for us. We poured our own drinks, yet they wanted over $100 for a tip??? Ridiculous. I will NEVER be going back. And I will be sure that none of my friends do either. This place either needs shut down or more professional management.
Showed up with another friend of mine to hang out as we were visiting dallas. Music, people and vibe💯💯💯 you cannot complain.Staff: Rude to rudest. Bartenders seems like being into forced labor with no smiles. Separate entry for rooftop and the dj place. Just because you got indoors doesnt mean you can go to rooftop. I mean you can but once you are at rooftop, the security doesnt let you back in🤦♂️🤦♂️ Wth😂🤦♂️And the worst part: 25% gratuity! I mean you got to be kidding right? I was with just another friend and when i saw the bill they added 25% gratuity! I club around bars in almost every city i visit, but this place was the worst when it comes to this. I left “0” tips and wrote “take the tip from the owner”😂🤦♂️ I would suggest you to check your bill before you swap your card.
Love this place! Not typically the type to enjoy bar food but their food here is actually amazing! Pizzas are awesome and the frozen mules are bomb too. The crowd is a great mixture and the positive energy that I received from the staff definitely made me want to come back. Just when I thought it didnt get any better I went to the rooftop and saw the amazing view they have of Downtown Dallas. This is definitely a place that Dallas needed, from the huge projectors used for sporting events to the transition into nightlife, they definitely nailed it all.
Great place to have drinks with friends on the weekends. You definitely have to get a table on the weekends because it gets crazy packed. Decent music and always a great crowd. Main level is where you want to be. Upstairs is always dead or too hot to be outside
This was the worst experience ever . Literally if y’all are going to enforce a dress code please post it online . If I could give one stars I would . Completely disregard me and my boyfriends outfits .
Love, love, love the atmosphere!! If youre looking for a good time, good music, and even better people. This is definitely the place to be. Not only do they provide their customers with a great night club atmosphere it is just as great during the day...and dont even get me started on the food!I will definitely be returning.
Security are active all over and very polite and want you to have a good time. The atmosphere is great. Lots of people just want to enjoy themselves and have a few drinks. Its very popular and rightfully so honestly. Bar staff are excellent as well. Look, if youre looking for a clubbing spot or a place to kick it with your friends after a long week, just come here and youll have a great time! Also, DJ Rizza is that dude! If hes playing the music, there will be amazing energy all night long. Tight sets! Smooth transitions! Amazing songs! Good drinks!
I was invited to a wedding and the groom had rented out 2 tables at this establishment for a party. I spent most of my time dancing and engaging with the other guests. After 3 hours of dancing I felt tired so I sat down at a booth a few feet away from the tables that had been rented for the event. Within 2 minutes of sitting down I was removed from the club along with another wedding guest. I had a great time but I am a little hurt that I was ejected without being given an explanation or opportunity to understand the actions of the club.
Friendly bartenders. It was during the afternoon but it was still a fun atmosphere with a dj. People were playing beer pong and taking shots. I would like to go back at night.
Awful customer service. Security team is just awful. I don’t know where they come off treating paying customers so poorly. They made people stand outside when the club was almost empty!! Would give it negative starts if I could!Just BAD! Would avoid this place at all costs. Ended up having a great time at Backyard.
Nice new, clean, bar. It was packed but we were able to get our drinks and table quickly. The walls are plastered with TV screens. We didnt try to order food. They have a nice bar on the roof. Very loud music during commercials.
Bouncers are abusive! Committing assault and getting away with it! This place needs to be shut down!
So today on February 25, I went to bottom blonde and they didn’t allow me in because I had on sneakers, the guys behind me who were white, who also had sneakers on were allowed without hesitation. This place discriminate against Hispanics.
After waiting in line for an hour I decided to talk to this bouncer to see why so many people were paying him on the side to get let in and they weren’t letting anyone in that had been standing in line. He said that they were not going to let anyone in the line in anymore. I asked why not tell the waiting customers that and he said “it wasn’t his problem and he is not holding anyone against their will. Don’t waste My time
I like this bar a lot. It has a great atmosphere and a ton of staff to keep an eye on everyone and make sure no trouble happens. They have a great rooftop with a good view of the downtown and surrounding area. They have lots of seating up there and even have the cornholes game. Lots of beautiful women. Drink prices are expensive, but not as bad as some other places. Expect to drop some coin here.
This place is crawling with complete weirdos. Starting with the bouncers... I was waiting in line with 3 other girls for about 10-15 minutes when I saw girls coming up on the side and asked if that was the line for females. He literally stared at me as if I was not even a human, rolled his eyes and didnt say a word. A simple no would have worked. And then once he finally let us in he was so incredibly rude and acted like he didnt want to let us in. It was weird. He was weird and made me and my friends really uncomfortable with how aggressive he was being with us. And then once we got inside a guy was harassing us and getting aggressive after I told him his breath smelled bad. He then proceeded to find a security guard and attempt to get us kicked out for insulting him. This guy was obviously beyond drunk, being aggressive and confrontational with us and the security guard. But apparently he had a section so the security guard just allowed him to keep harassing us instead of telling this dude to chill out. To make matters worse, youre paying $12 for a watered down drink with slow service. This place is so pretentious that it hurts. I dont recommend this place to anyone. Dont waste your time. And get better door staff for the love of god.
My friends came in from okc to play at this venue, and everything was going great until I ordered a drink at the bar from Nate. He was extremely rude and stuck his hand out and demanded payment from me before he even made my drink or told me how much it was. My friend also ordered a drink and requested to keep the tab open, and he closed it and told her she needed to speak up. Serving is more than just making drinks and demanding payment, its also about customer service. From the reviews before this, i can tell this venue doesnt really care about customer service. Save yourself some money (the drinks were pricey) and the disrespect and dont come here.
Decent bar. Depends on what day and time you go though. Fellas, be aware of the dress code. You may want to always have a pair of jeans just in case your shorts are considered Athletic
I came to this bar expecting a good time but the bartender lost my card and when I asked where it was they tried to blame me. When I asked to talk to a manager he never came to apologize or talk to me. Apparently they had closed it out and had given it to someone else. The bartender gave it back to me with an attitude and didn’t apologize for blaming me for losing my card or almost giving out my credit card. Terrible service.
Went in on a Thursday night to enjoy a Football game and that is exactly what I did. The food was great and atmosphere was right on par. Staff was friendly, energetic, and always willing to help. Would definitely recommend ordering the Shrimp & Calamari Fritti with just about any entree. If you’re wanting to have dinner, it’s a great place to go. If you wanna watch Football, it’s the only place to go.
Wow is just one of the many adjectives I can use to describe this place. I ate here last week on Friday the day after there grand opening and was blown away by pizza and drinks. I was with a group of people and everything on the menu sounded so good so we order as much as we cold. I cant tell you what was better the food or the specialty cocktails. Our service was great and it was the perfect place to watch the games- seriously the place has TVs perfectly positioned all around the bar as well as the rest of the restaurant.
Unethical and discriminatory. Jordan shoes are only allowed if you pay $500. All other trashy sneakers allowed. It’s disgusting and not sure how they get away with it. We came from out of town and looked clean, classy, and crisp. Will not promote this place. We hit up the backyard next store which was a BLAST where we spent our $500 on drinks instead of paying off the bouncer!!
I went there on a Sunday mid afternoon. The music was poppin! The drinks were good... normal price for trendy places. The door man was a douche. He didnt say a word and didnt give us eye contact. My husband showed up a little later and he wasnt allowed in because his jeans were ripped... a lot of other people, both guys and girls, were wearing ripped jeans. As we were leaving, they denied entrance to another guy who was wearing a tank top. Not muscle shirt, a tasteful tank top. Not sure if I would go back; it may be too trendy for my taste.
One of the worst bars Ive gone to, not planning on coming back. Very discriminatory environment and atmosphere is very toxic. Both security and bartenders seem very arrogant and rude. Came here for the first time for an RSVP event and was treated poorly as the security did not know how to do their job in directing or even communicating correctly with people. Very unfortunate to feel this way about a place as I will also not recommend this place to my network.
This place used to be good when it first opened. The cold beer was good, the dancing was great. If you wanted to go have fun this was the place to go. As of late this place has been the top hit of a crime spree. I was visiting last night, and I was standing at the bar and I felt someone attempt to bump into me and felt them slide my phone out of my pocket. I turned around immediately and tried to follow them outside. I asked the Manager if he could get my phone back that was just stolen. He told me no, you come in at your own risk and he isnt responsible for Phones that are stolen in his establishment. Which I think was stolen from one of their bouncers to be honest. I will not be back, and when asking someone outside if they had seen the phone the lady told me that shes been there twice in two nights and she saw 5 phones get stolen the first night, and then 10 more last night. This seems to be a popular place for pick pockets and thieves. I would not recommend going this place to my worst enemy and I have marked all of my phone as stolen. This place does not assist in researching the thieves either forget about it. Go to backyard its safer, and Next Door.
My bro and I drove all the way downtown just to hit Bottled Blonde from Frisco, TX. Pretty good distance of a drive to be turned away at the door because my brother worse a fresh light wash denim overalls. I forgot what it was like to get turned away from a bar for dress code. But all good won’t come back. 0 STAR
Drinks are way over priced and everyone working there looks like they hate their jobs. Not one smile or anything. Promptly kicked everyone out even the people on the patio while it was thunder-storming outside and chained the doors shut at 2 am. They even locked two people inside. Their security didn’t do a very good job at “sweeping” the place
I was evicted after having 2 drinks for being too drink aparently. I was given no explanation. I was minding my own business listening to music and I was booted by the bouncers for dancing with my girlfriend. On top of paying 60$ for 2 drinks and the pizza rolls which were not that great. I am still not entirely sure why or what I was doing. I was not bothering anyone and am still sober. I went to a police officer and my blood alcohol content was below .02 so im really not sure. This place sucks and I pray none of you seeing this will go there.
Visited this place from out of town. Was not impressed with the security staff at the front. One gentlemen in our group got in but the others were denied for their pants being too baggy. In my opinion the reason they were denied entry had more to do with their ethnicity. The only person that got in had the same style pants but was allowed in. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I don’t support these types of establishments.
Even though we spent way more money for shots for a large group than table service they kicked us out because we were dancing too close to the tables. Ridiculous
Contrary to some of the other reviews, I had a great time here. Yes they have a dress code. No they are no racists. All of the staff from bussers to bouncers and bar staff, everyone was nothing but nice and polite. Great mix of people all having a good time and enjoying the night. Definitely one of the best places Ive been in a while and one of the best in deep ellum.
If you are looking for a spot just to watch some football on Sundays this is not the place. While they will show all the games as soon as things pick up you will be asked to leave your table so it can be converted into a bottle service section for the trendy types and club donkeys to roost at. Some of the security staff has interpersonal skills comparable to that of a toddler. Maybe the nightlife at this place is great if that is your thing but it just isnt the place for football fans to enjoy games and a cold beer.
Their chicken panini is very popular and I can see why. Its so good! Everyone has to try it. The only drawback to my visit is the lack of to-go cups. I didnt have my desired drink with my meal. But overall the service was quick and the food was good.
I really wanted to try this place out, just wished I would have read the reviews before going! My husband and his friend were not allowed in since they were wearing Jordan’s and Nike’s! I am pretty sure my husband shoes cost more than the bouncer outfit! Lol. We also went on a Sunday afternoon, right at 2:30. Didn’t think we would have a problem since it’s not club hours. This establishment was not even packed. I only saw the workers inside, no customers. I GUESS they just have a dress code at all times. So I would not even waste your time coming here unless your coming after church, you should be fine to get in! Haha. BTW their are plenty of other cool bars and restaurants near by!
This place is garbage. My friend came in from out of town so I met him there. I was wearing my regular clothes, nice looking nothing crazy but when I get to the bouncer he says I cant get in because Im wearing high tops... But literally the guy in front of me who was wearing some high tops was able to get in. These bouncers are on a power trip and managers should check them.
What a wonderful Sunday experience. Weather was amazing and the staff were all great. From the bartender to the security guard who goes by... Tater. Such a nice GENTLEMAN! Im walking with a crutch currently but that didnt stop Tater from looking out for me. He went beyond his call of duty to assist walking me to the ladies room and patiently waiting to escort me back to my seat safely. Great teamwork in what seems like could turn into a rowdy (BUT FUN!) Venue. I havent been out in so long because of my injury and Tater especially made it possible, safe, and enjoyable. Ill definitely be back, injury free, soon!
This place is awesome! We came here for brunch and had the breakfast pizza. YUMMM! The mimosas are $10 each, which I wasnt expecting, but they fill them all the way to top with champagne so its all good. The atmosphere is awesome! Cant wait to come back at night to check it out.
A scam. It’s a bar who’s whole purpose is to pressure you to get Bottle Service. And the Bottle Service is the Scam.$350 for a handle of vodka, but it’s actually $480 because gratuity is included and they don’t tell you that ahead of time. There are better places to go.This bar is for those who don’t have money to convince their friends that they do.
A sad reminder of the downfall of both society at large and old Deep Ellum in particular. For the love of all that is good, please dont go here.
Racist Management and Employees i have ever seen in my life specially those at security they didn’t kick me out but i was sober with friends watching out on all alcoholic people and their arguments with them. Lesson Learned
Jerod (Bar Manager)took care of me and my friend by recommending drinks and continue to check on us to see if we were ok. Most definitely will be visiting this establishment again.
We are POC (people of color) who went into this bar in hopes of a fun night, but we got kicked out for dropping a plastic cup with ice (we finished the water prior to), and I personally got lifted up and asked if i wanted to do this the hard way or the easy when I asked if everyone had to get kicked out. They lifted me up from my armpits without consent to leave the bar. I, myself, did nothing. Only asked a question. Were there early as to avoid the night rush, yet once they saw us they gave a look as soon as we came in. We felt we didn’t belong as soon as we entered. Before the night rush came, they kicked us out. This behavior is unacceptable and anyone who support this club is supporting a staff who cares more about having a white population in their bar than treating people equally. Thankfully Citizen didnt look at our skin color and allowed us to be treated as normal people in this city, despite the color of our skin. We hope that one day Bottled Blonde will treat POC the same as Citizen did. 0/5 stars but we hope for their growth as a franchise
Nice place very rude guys at the door giving 2 stars because it is so bad to deal with them. wanted to walk off because of how rude and snobbish they are its the 3rd time and not how you want a good time to start. Inside it looks nice, bar is slow but thats not that bad because they are so nice. If youre first contact with a place is always bad, then its slow inside no mater how nice the bar or severs are you are still thinking about what its like to walk in. I want to like this place, I keep going but I just wish the guys in front where polite.
Racist guy at the door. Group of 8 decided to go the to say good bye to a cousin visiting from abroad. Front door guy saw cousins passport from Mexico and denied access, second guy at front door support first guy, they said long shorts are not allowed. B.S. wait at the door and counted over 10 guys getting in on long shorts and sandals and even wed smell.... I asked them to call a manager and denied. I called by one and a guy just talk to them and let us in.I hope the club management takes charge of this complaint. These 2 guys on front door did not allow access to other 4 from other group.First time in this club and this happens.Yes looks nice, good music but please management teach your front door guys to read passports and listen to the people when they need to talk to a manager. Some of us can actually do something if management dont. Thank you
This place is awesome! They have a roof top bar if you want to get away from the dance floor and crowds. When you are done and want to go home for the night there are a bunch of black suvs outside but none like Escalade i have gotten rides from. There is a black uber Escalade that is high class(has stars in the roof) that parks out front or by the pizza place out back. He is the best driver! Worth every penny and if you want to impress a girl, his car is the go to!
Service was good, however we were one of maybe 4 other groups of people in the massively empty sports bar area, and they wouldnt put the game sound on the speakers for the large screen! They were playing 90s music instead of the game we were watching, despite us asking several times. Disappointing, especially considering the place was nearly empty.
If I would out “No Stars,” I would. My family and I went out Saturday(9/17) during the day for brunch so we were bar hopping. We sat and ordered a tower and there was no one really at the bar so we asked the DJ to play Bad Bunny and he laughed saying “playing bad bunny is like playing Metallica” meanwhile the only type of music the DJs were playing were songs from 2016 and depressing music like “Drop the World” by Lil Wayne. Just say you are a trash DJ. How can you have fun, dance and drink with that? There was no flavor, not even a few Latin music especial for it being Hispanic Heritage Month. Our Bottled Blonde in Houston is better than what ever this is. I read another review where they were being racist and I believe it. Never coming here again, this is only for people with no taste in music because their set mix was trash. If you want your place to be poppin, update your set mix.
DO NOT GO HERE EVER!!! The thread against this establishment being extremely racist is the absolute truth especially for the bartenders who will go to the extreme lengths to get you kicked out of the club for pointing out that they treated the white guest different from the minority customers! I will be reporting this to the manager and the BBB if this doesnt get handled because the way they treat minorities is completely unacceptable and the white blonde bartenders should be extremely disgusted with themselves. Its 2022 and you still treat minorites like its 1952 civil war era you need serious help absolutely horrifying
I had a blast here over the weekend. This is a great spot to party, eat, and drink. It is a one stop place. The pizzas were heaven in my mouth! I definitely reccomend the Margarita! I really loved how sweet and professional the waitress were. LOVE LOVE LOVE. I will be returning! The rooftop is to die for!!
My boyfriend and I tried to gain entry, but we were denied because I was wearing baggy jeans. For the record, while my jeans were a relaxed fit style, they were sitting up on my waist, not hanging off my butt like the bouncer seemed to insinuate the second we walked up.Based on other reviews, maybe if the two gay guys had shown up with some of our female friends, they might have let us come in....
Fun but be careful if you go on the wrong night. have had multiple friends get roofied here, disappointing. fun until you are carrying your unresponsive friend out the door
I dont think Ive ever hated any single establishment as much as I do this place. Ive witnessed everything wrong with Dallas nightlife in this one spot. Just somewhere else. Its not a safe space. I will update this over time as there are so many incidents to type out at once.
Spent $1400 on a table but left a jacket underneath next to the bus bin. Returned the next day and came up empty handed. Felt unusual that it wasn’t found.I doubt patrons were going around looking under tables for belongings after close, which makes me believe it was most likely found by a staff member. Disappointing I wasn’t able to get it back as it had my Invisalign in the pocket. :/I wonder what would happen if that was a client’s phone or purse instead? Was kinda shocked when the manager asked me if I was more concerned about getting the Invisalign back or the jacket. There wasn’t any real effort in looking for it or asking the staff if they had seen it either. Not the way I would run a business in the service industry if you ask me.~~~With the exception of Chris the Security guy, the staff at the Scottsdale location is 100x better. The bottle girls here didn’t seem like they even wanted to be there. I didn’t see them smile and made most of my drinks myself.
Great music/Venue. Solid staff but definitely get here early on the weekend if you want to be able to get inside. Also dont dress too casual or you will not be allowed in. Dress for the weather and youll be fine. $7-9 well drinks are to be expected.
Great Restaurant. Staff are cool and place is great. Whole Indoor side of business opens into the outdoors, plus all outdoor upstairs - Makes it safer than most places during this time period. They got audited by Dallas for being open and passed with flying colors 🙂.
If I could give a negative review I would. And I never give reviews. Door staff was awesome. Upstairs male blonde bartender was terrible and rude. I’m a nightclub bartender so I understand a busy crowd, I’ve never been so disrespected nor will I ever come back. Terrible. You have to pay $100 a head for the main floor by the way.
Great experience and fantastic service, above and beyond. Yesterday on Sunday it was a beautiful day and I wanted to take my good friend from NY to the upstairs patio to enjoy so we did just that. She’s injured and in a walking boot and the elevator was on the fritz. So the security guard Mark offered to help her all the way up the stairs and he didn’t stop there he sat up a table and two chairs for us out of the way so no one would hit her foot. Mark even carried our champagne tower over to the table! Above and beyond great service! A great venue, beautiful day, and great staff that highly elevated our experience and day! Thank you so much for everything.
The one star that I am giving this place is because it does not allow me to go negative. This is the worst thing to happen to Deep Ellum and I do not see this place being there much longer. The service is the worst. Food and drinks are overpriced. Also, they claim to have a dress code but lets be honest, they are more welcoming to a certain demographic of which not everyone can relate. The door men are absolutely the worst people.
This place has so much potential. I know its new but Its always packed which I find interesting as their service is terrible. We went early on a Saturday(was busy but not packed) and it took almost an hour to get our food. They definately hire wait staff based on beauty and not brains. Waitress didnt seem to care about the time it took to get our cocktails(15 minutes). Food was really good though. Only reason I will give it another try is because of Scotty Jones. The dude was awesome and super friendly.
Im not a big club person, I went because of a birthday party. We did have VIP bottle service and had a great time and fun experience. The price is about right for what that type of service usually goes for.
Delicious pizza with a neat atmosphere! We usually go here on a weekday for dinner and it is DEAD so we get our food really quickly. Guess they are more of a weekend nightlife place, but they also have outdoor games and an upstairs patio area with a nice view of the skyline!
This venue is by far the best addition to the Dallas area! Super friendly staff, abundant amount of patio space, and food was delicious! I would recommend the margarita pizza & their brunch menu is delicious as well! I highly recommend this bar to anyone visiting from out of town.
Went to bottled blonde and had my card stolen. The bartender never returned my card...while I was asking about it, I was receiving bank notifications on my phone where it was being charged. I hope half the bar enjoyed their tequila shots. This happened to my friend 2 weeks before. Doesn’t sound like such a coincidence now
Interesting. Great spot. Service is the worst. Prices are crazy expensive. $6 for Ultra, really?? Bartenders don’t give a $hit. Lines for the only bathrooms are way too long. Possible maximum occupancy issues. Definitely a one a done place. Will not be back.
I came in with friends on 5/23/2018. We asked the bouncer if they were still serving food since it was late, to which he replied yes. After making our way upstairs, we were informed that the kitchen had already closed. We decided to stay and grab a drink and sat in a booth for at least 10 minutes while the two waitresses ignored us and gossiped to each other at their POS station. I then decided to walk up to the bar and order directly from the bartender who was very rude. Needless to say we did not stay. Its a shame because this would be a very cool place if they hired worthwhile staff.
I was excited to try out this place on Sunday afternoon @ 12. But when we got there we were turned away because we had on a bandana (we rode a slingshot on a beautiful day). Yes I could of taken it off but no thanks. Bad business. Took my business and money next door to Backyard Dallas which was an amazing place.
First time going to this place last night and the bouncers are so rude, kicked us out for no reason cussing at us to get out when we were just sitting down enjoying our drinks… Drinks that are extremely over priced. Will definitely not be going back after how we got treated.
Always heard bottled was known for roofing girls (bartenders and the creeps that go there) & it happened to me this past sunday! I was barely buzzed & after i drank 1 champagne flutes i blacked out from 1am til 7am with no memory!! be safe!!
Worst service ever! Do not order food at this place. The two waitresses for our table were very rude. Our waitress was chatting with friends instead of doing her job. I had to tell her to do her job because we had already waited about 45 mins for her to come back to give us our check. This place needs to get their service together.Im never going back. And Ill be sure to tell people of the bad experience.Hope the manager starts paying attention. Theres plenty of other places in Dallas where they do treat customers well.
Went for the first time last weekend since I was in Dallas with a group of friends. I just gotta say definitely not going back ever again the bartenders rude and bouncers. No place to sit since all around was booked for VIP only they wouldn’t even let us stand behind VIP. People are judgmental as hell never going back
This place is amazing! One of the best views and the atmosphere is super comfortable, its like youre in the beach in the city! Except theres no water. We had a great time! Its not kid friendly though, they dont accept kids.
We went here for some St Patricks Day Celebrations. Drinks werent overpriced, staff was friendly and quick to help (even with a full bar), they have a great patio and wrap around space.Love the setup. Would definitely come back for a birthday or bottle service.Decucting 1 star because it was SUPER loud
Things got stolen and management did nothing but blow us off. Dont go if you want to keep your own belongings. Take a look at previous reviews. Many people had the same experience. DO NOT GO. STAY AWAY!
I was rejected for wearing “athletic pants”, bouncer said they were joggers. They were Lululemon ABC pants… tapered at the leg, but I wear these to the office, on campus, never had an issue anywhere. The funny thing is that they were letting people in with off the rack dress pants that werent tailored or anything, jeans.
I was told I couldn’t get in because I was wearing Jordan’s than I literally seen a white guy in the bar with Jordan’s on... I pointed to him and said “ what about him” then he let me in the bar but me and my friends decided to go elsewhere. Not to mention I went the week prior with the exact same shoes on and it wasn’t a problem, if your black I suggest you find a better place to have a good time.
I was turned away because i was wearing cargo pants. I am 53 years old and I have never been turned away because of the way I dress. If you like turned up noses, I guess this place is for you. On a positive note, because they turned me away I walked in to the ´´Backyard’´ which is just behind and this is the most impressive sports bar I have ever been in. And I travel alot.
Got bottle service on Saturday night just to check out the vibe and the service was terrible. Paid $1500 and sat us at a section outside while it was slightly raining. Server brought the bottles out and wasn’t seen again for the rest of the night. First bar I’ve been to that takes payment before the bottles were brought out. Also before getting bottle service they initially said one of the guys in our group couldn’t get in because his pants were not fitted. He’s a bigger guy about 250lbs so idk why they would except him to wear skinny/fitted jeans 😂. Won’t be back here and do not recommend this place. Concrete cowboys, side bar, theory, and clutch are a few that are by far better establishments.
This is not your traditional sports bar, this is a high class sports bar for millennials. Expect people dressed to impress and bottle service. Loved my experience there. Delicious food, amazing service. Order the pizza rolls! YummmBe careful on weekends of trying to go eat dinner. They start reserving tables for bottle service about 6pm.EDIT: bonus points for helping me find a lost diamond out of my wedding ring. This will be one of my favorite bars forever. Thank you!!!!
Stop going where you’re not welcome they don’t want you in there if your melanin. They steal and trying to squeeze money on of you when your drinking they do bad business highly recommend finding another place
Here for a girls trip, and we came across the perfect place! So cool and a great atmosphere! Mariah is the best!
The venue itself is awesome. Lots tvs, good looking people and just a fun atmosphere. However I would say even with all that its not worth it. I have serveral issues with this place after watching the cowboys game Sunday. First it took 30mims to bring us our check and it was a group of 12 of us. They brought one check for $600 plus dollars. We wanted the check divided since some us hardly had some things and other came at later times. The manager came and was very rude said his name was Hunter. Basically told us to just divided it among ourselves that no bar in Dallas is going to have a waitress take each persons tab. Its 12 of you what did you guys expect you all should have told her before hand. By this time its been almost an hour waiting to leave this place but getting our check and meeting the manager was crazy time consumption and doing the math with that amount of stuff is stupid. Thats not how management is supposed to run a business and most places they take your card before hand and charge taps by person. It was horrible. Aside from that I saw a man across our table get kicked out for other reason then he was dancing and he was gay. The women he was with were pissed and once again the manager was rude to them as well they left pissed off and threw a brand new tower of beer they had just ordered all over the floor out of discontent. I never post reviews but I felt the need to this time. Just letting yall know what to expect. Lots of people who were trying to get in were turned down including good looking girls because of the way they were dressed. Not even uptown acts the way this place does and this place is basically in deep ellum. Theres plenty of places in Dallas to watch a game or pop bottles where customers arent treated like trash. I would suggest going somewhere else. I dont see this place staying open for very long unless they make a huge management change and train their entire staff differently.
We came here on November 30th let me just say that we spent a GOOD amount of money here. As we were leaving we walked outside to wait for our Uber. The security guard that was outside was EXTREMELY rude. He asked us to get out in the poring rain because “we were in the way” I don’t recommend this place. This is our first and last time here.
Tried to come in for lunch around 2:30 on a Sunday. We couldn’t get in because of their dress code- I was wearing a tee shirt, jean shorts and flip flops and the bouncer didn’t seem to have a problem with it. But my boyfriend was wearing a sleeveless shirt and that was apparently not allowed. Nevermind the fact that we passed a group of women inside all wearing tank tops. I get having a dress code for a night club, but for a Sunday afternoon? Whatever. We took our business elsewhere to places in Deep Ellum that weren’t concerned about us being dressed for the Texas heat.
Visiting from boston. This spot was recommended. We got tables at Vivo and Theory the previous two nights. Didn’t expect this spot to be bottles only starting at 8pm on. You either slide extra cash to the bouncer or have a table but dallas aint miami and the vibes are all the same regardless of location. We just left at 9pm after an hour they stated they’re only allowing bottle entries.
Bottled Blonde is a hotspot in Dallas. Always take friends from out of town to show them the vibe of Dallas. I have never witnessed any type of negativity in the building. Never had a problem getting in, and make sure always get a table. The experience is completely different from standing
I’m giving one star because I can’t give less. My husband and I came here for dinner with a few friends and stayed for dancing once this place turned into a bar/club. We were asked to leave for no apparent reason. This place has some racist policies and we will never be coming back. We were excited when this place opened up, but after this incident, we would never consider contributing to their unlawful policies. STAY AWAY!
I had a blast with some old friends here. The staff was very personable and the drinks were great.
WOW how do I even start... first off I had a waiter named Jasmine and she came up to me calling me her alladin? Like I appreciate the compliment I guess but wasnt it kind of racist?? Anyways throughout the day I was watching college football and hanging out. Finally get my food and beer after a long wait and great! A hair is in the food and Waitress is too busy to replace my burger. I then go to talk to the manager, Mr. Mike. Once he approached me I told him my situation and he said you are a valued customer and tried to help the situation but only made it worse. He printed my receipt of items other than the burger and said just leave if you dont like the service. RUDE AND DISGUSTING SERVICE. NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN
Morgan was amazing! Open spaced concept with a long bar, great beer and liquor selection, and Tuesday all day Happy hour ( happen to wind up there on a Tuesday, not knowing that fact).Went on a slow day... apparently it is live on the weekends!
My friends and I went for brunch (this was our second time trying to give this place a chance). Just like the first time I tried this place, the doormen were rude and acted like they were annoyed a customer wanted to come buy something at the place that pays their bills. Anyway, there werent any open tables, so they told us we could sit in one of the table service sections with couches; however, if someone paid for table service in our section, theyd let us know, and we would have to move. No worries - understood. The place got more and more crowded, but none of the staff asked us to move. Rather, they waited until someone from our group got up to use the restroom and then sent two of their bouncers (more like pouncers) to escort him out of the bar with no explanation and no re entry. We were sitting in the section near the entrance, but they did not escort him out passed our group - they escorted him out on the side opposite from us. He asked the pouncer what was going on and why he was kicked out multiple times. He said the pouncer wouldnt even look at him (because he knew he had grown up to be a slimy snake bully who makes stories up so he can kick minorities out of bars...and he probably thinks he looks good doing it too). Finally, the pouncer said Its protocol. My friend asked, What is protocol? The pouncer then replied, When someone is seen throwing up. My friend advised he wasnt throwing up, but of course it didnt matter. The interesting thing is, that friend was the only one in our group who had only one mimosa. Yes, a mimosa...not even liquor. He called his boyfriend, another friend within our group, to come outside so that he could tell him that he was accused of throwing up and then kicked out. His boyfriend told us what happened and then went back outside to wait with him. Those of us still at our table waved our server (she gave wonderful service to us the entire time) down and explained that our friend was accused of throwing up and then kicked out. She immediately pointed at the seat where our falsely accused friend was sitting and asked, HE was kicked out? He only had ONE drink! To which we said, Right?! We know! He was falsely accused! She told us to hold on and that she was going to let the doormen know. She then ran outside. While she was gone, we received a text from our falsely accused friend saying that they had left to wait for us elsewhere. Our server came back a couple minutes later and asked if they were still there. We told her they left. She did not charge us for his meal. She was nice and looked upset that this happened. The manager didnt come over and say anything either. We really wanted to like this place, but this was the second time one of my gay Latino friends was mistreated at this establishment. My friend was singled out and unapologetically disrespected by two guys who couldnt even look him in the eye to explain themselves. Tragic souls. We wont have to worry about that happening again because none of us will be back.
We were hanging out at The Backdoor and wanted to check out Bottle Blonde. The Bouncer would not let my friend in because he was wearing athletic pants. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the way he looked. Looked like he was wearing black skinny jeans. As we walked past later the same bouncer let a man in wearing athletic pants and sneakers just like my friend. Oddly enough, my friend and the guy that was let in appeared to be the same ethnicity so not overtly racist. This is just another place that uses dress code to pick and choose their clientele. If this bar goes under before long I would say that it is well deserved.
My friends and I were waiting to get a socializing table with Jenga and some games to open up on the rooftop, so we just stood and hung around for an hour or so. It finally opens up and were able to enjoy ourselves more.Guards came and told us to get out after 30 mins of playing because they said it was apparently reserved...but there were clearly no signs of them being well-prepared to let us know beforehand that we were waiting on a reserved table...It was crowded enough everywhere, so we just left.Never coming back.
Bottled blonde is something Ive never experienced in Dallas before! The atmosphere even on a Saturday morning was amazing I had so much fun attending the opening I cant wait to go back this weekend. The drink were great and the food is delicious I have no complaints. Also they come out and do bottle service in mini cars which I thought was hilarious and loved every second of it :)
This bar is so much fun. It has a beautiful rooftop, and is great for watching sports and/or getting bottle service late night. The management is really helpful with any questions, and the staff is so friendly! I would highly recommend.
Cool bar. Has a lot of tv’s to watch the games and good music, I’ve never been on the rooftop but I’m sure it’s nice. Cool garage style doors and always has a good crowd of people. I don’t like the valet parking but I guess it’s needed with the large crowd they get. I think this was a good addition to the Deep Ellum neighborhood. Even though it’s in Deep Ellum I will caution it’s uptown vibe it has.. Take a trip down here and see if your style, it’s definitely worth exploring.
If I could give this bar 0 stars I would, I believe I was discriminated at the bar. White male bartender made me wait almost an hour for a drink and when I asked my sister with a lighter shade of skin (we are Hispanic and I’m tan) to order my drink she received it in 2 min. The crowd is not a nice one, and good luck moving through the crowds. #racist
Bottled Blonde is always the best spot! from the delicious menu to the amazing staff it is the only place to be! You can visit during the week for great food and drinks or the weekend for a high-engery atmosphere with bottle service options! They have a very open concept with a great roof top bar! I highly recommend visiting because it is always an incredible time!
Definitely a unique and cool concept. Nightlife here is unreal with great music and a fun crowd. Rooftop has best views in Dallas. Whether youre looking to Sunday funday and watch football all day, or party it up on weekend nights-Bottled is the go-to spot! You wont want to go anywhere else!
I’m disheartened because racism is still alive and present. It is definitely present here when the bouncer denied access to a black couple because her jacket was neon green. They wouldn’t even speak to us because the bouncer and I guess the “manager” said we were with another group. But you know they think all black people look alike. They workers were EXTREMELY disrespectful!!Funny part of all of this we asked a white girl on the street to put the jacket on and see if she could get in and they let her in. I’ll never go where I’m not welcomed and I definitely won’t beg to spend my money at a racist establishment.
Went here with a friend Thursday night and was turned away because his shirt had a camouflage pattern on it. He was dressed better than Ive been in there on a friday/Saturday. Just seemed like racial profiling. Must be very convenient to blame it on the overly ambiguous dress code.
The typical profiling starts again. Similar to Kung Fu! I was meeting several friends to watch some games this afternoon. Dressed like a normal customer I was stopped and told that if I was to come back this evening that I could not wear my Jordan’s? It’s interesting but not surprising that I was told this considering I’m black. More interesting is that my white friend was wearing a similar pair of shoes, entered the bar, and was not told the same thing. When I asked to speak to the Manager his explanation was that it depended on what time of the day it was and that would determine whether or not I could wear these shoes. He was extremely unprofessional and seemed to take offense that I asked him about the dress code. When I continued questioning this rule I was told that if I didn’t like it I should leave. Apparently, he felt I was angry about the dress code. I simply wanted clarification since so many other patrons had similar shoes, shorts, running shoes etc. I googled Bottle Blonde in Chicago and was made aware that it appears this practice of profiling blacks was the norm there as well. This is a post to warn other folks about their practice of profiling and discrimination. I will not spend my money there again and hope others are aware. Minorities spend money as well!
Always have a great time here! I love visiting when Davina is bartending, she is the best! Fast service and good vibes :)
It’s very interesting coming from Canada and seeing different clubs/bars and how people are treated in them. This place treats you like trash unless you were buying a table. You are pushed around by bouncers it’s so strange. I’ve been to other bottles blondes and treated much better.
I’ve gave this place 2 try’s with both times expecting great service only to get the worst possible service or none at all. I don’t like to write bad reviews but I feel like this needs to be said. Went with the wife to go see the Barcelona game only to not be let in because my shorts were to long. What gets me mad is that I’m seeing people in the establishment with similar shorts, I don’t know what this business is trying to filter out but I’m not that guy. A outdoor bar with roof top that has a dress code sounds funny to me. Anyway I’m not gonna go in to detail no more but will take my business and my tips else where. Should just knock it down at expand The Backyard .
I’ve never been a part of a more ratchet and disgusting experience in my life. Five of my girlfriends got into bottle blonde and me and my guy friend got denied. When we questioned it, the bouncer said,”you can’t come in because I said” …. He had no reason to turn us down and then started using profanity towards us. We then left and went to the backyard and they said we couldn’t get in because of “talk at the bottled blonde”. Both of these places are some of the most ratchet places I’ve been. Do not go or waste your time in this area or either of these establishments.
Arrived shortly after they start their nightclub time, last night (Friday, 7/13/18), dressed appropriately for Texas summer: nice polo shirt, nice cargo shorts, and nice leather sandals. There were 10 of us. WE WERE DENIED ENTRY BY THE BOUNCERS, due to having open-toed shoes on, even though there were some customers wearing basically the same thing still inside from before the nightclub time started, and there was no dress code posted anywhere in sight. They barely had anyone inside, because so many folks who wanted to spend our $$$ there didnt meet their frivolous dress code. But, we had already Valet-parked in their lot, so we left our cars there and went to The Backyard (next door), instead. (That was also a somewhat unsatisfactory experience, but Ill review them separately.)After that, we just walked over to Deep Ellum and had a great time at The Anvil Pub, High & Tight, and a few other of our favorite bars, and closed out the night with a large BBQ chicken Serious Pizza (long wait, but worth it). After walking back to the Bottled Blonde Valet lot (just before 3am), we found the Valet stand packed up and locked down, with no attendant anywhere, and a note left on our windshield saying SORRY WE MISSED YOU... Please see Bottled Blonde management for your keys... Luckily, the folks at Bottled Blonde were still there closing up (they didnt mention my sandals this time), but they claimed that the Valet didnt bring them any keys... So, I told them that of course we needed to speak to a manager. 10 minutes later the bouncer walked out with a handful of keys, let us take ours (along with the others who are trapped in the Valet lot), and we thought that was the end of the ordeal. But wait, the Valet lot entrances/exits were ALL CHAINED OFF!! So, to exit the lot, we then had to drive over part of the adjacent sidewalk (at an edge that was partially not chained off, because its just a sidewalk), then down the sidewalk to the handicap ramp right next to the Bottled Blonde main entrance, and then finally back on the street and on our way home.In total, Bottled Blondes policies and ineffective management practices wasted about 15-20 minutes of 8-10 peoples time last night, and we never even got to enter the place!! Now we probably never will!!
Fun, fun! FUN! GREAT TIME, great people and yes! Fun! Take your time and enjoy!!
After a friend and I said to a bouncer that we didn’t think a girl knew the guy she was about to go with, he told us to “mind our own business” and that he wasn’t about to let these guys get “me too’d”. Absolutely will never be coming back to an astablishlent that allows that kind of intolerance and assault to happen on their grounds. When we tried to report to police that were there they told us that they wouldn’t do anything with what we told them. Completely disappointed in this establishment and the local police department.
Couldnt tell you what its like inside. I couldnt get in to get brunch because I had on tennis shoes.. while a bunch of other races were allowed in with Nikes, Adidas and chucks. I couldnt get in with similar running shoes. The chicken bouncer didnt even want to look me in my eyes to tell me. He knew he was wrong.I can only give 1 Star because I cant give 0. Save money, time and effort. Its a NO for me Dog!
I dont recommend this place to anyone. This is a douchey bar with daddys money types all over the place. Apparently Uptown just wasnt enough so they had to come to deep ellum (FYI it isnt actually located in real Deep Ellum, so theres that). Security is a bunch of roided out frat kids shining flashlights randomly in patrons faces. They basically patrol the bar like a J Crew Gestapo. Scantily clad bartenders do a fine job, but the place gets crowded quickly and the service starts to suffer a bit. I didnt have any food, so I cant speak to that. I also cant speak to the racism claim, but I will say I saw white people getting thrown out frequently. Racist or not, the security is overzealous. I was dragged here by a friend of a friend and quickly saw it didnt contain the caliber of people I usually spend time with. I left and probably wont be returning.
Cool place. Beautiful views. Upstairs outdoor and downstairs indoor option. Not a huge place for people to dance unless you want to crowd the bar. Definitely a need a table place.
I was having a good time when suddenly I was pushed into another girl by a big bouncer escorting VIP to their section. I was literally pushed out of the way and knocked into the poor girl behind me. A nice random guy behind her even asked us if we were ok. We thought there was a fight or something similar that he was trying to get to...but that wasnt the case unfortunately. The bouncer is a tall, buff, red haired, mouth breather and Im a small, petite girl, which he didnt mind running over. He knew what he did and kept walking. I dont like having to pay to get into a bar and then getting treated so disrespectfully.
Love the open concept and wonderful service! Staff was so friendly and helpful. Seemed like they really care for the type of service they give. The barbecue chicken pizza is to die for and the pizza fries are nothing to miss out on either! Cannot wait for my next trip back to this amazing venue!
This place looks very nice, but the people who are running it are extremely rude and impolite. Even for the standards of a bar/nightclub targeting douchbag crowds, this one is a real douchbag house. It is a shame such a beautiful place is being run by this crew.
I couldnt have felt more disgusted & and like an absolute outsider, me and a group of 10 gentlemen were in town for the chiefs cowboys game, a very diverse group might i add. We attend this establishment on Saturday night all together and had a great time, fast forward to Sunday night 11/6 , we all decided to go back following the game, this time we split up one group arrived first, it just so happen that these 5 arrived first, 4 were white 1 light was skinned, everyone dressed in similar attire. Minutes later we arrive and see our friends inside from the balcony, us 3 happen to black. We go up to enter and the door man says, hey theres a no high top shoes or jordan policy here to one of my friends, we thought thats odd, we were just here last night & didnt have a problem and he had more the same pair of shoes, mind you there were tons of Caucasian guys in the bar with cowboy jerseys & hats ,We conversed with our friends from the balcony on the issue, and one them that had made it in with jordan shoes before, then I went back up the door on my own, and thats where things turned negatively, someone radioed to the door man not to let me in either b/c I now had become in dress code violation, but 5 mins ago we couldnt get in b/c our friend had jordans on, now I couldnt, (wearing fitted jeans, grey fashion tshirt & vera wang adidas shoes) our friends eventually came outside with us to get clarity of the situation, were the Asian doorman gentlemen working became a tad rude and dismissive, the other door man just sat there with smirks & finally we were able to come to the conclusion that, they just dont allow small groups of African American men together, we were all respectful & carry ourselves as well dressed articulate individuals, and were directly discriminated against from entering this establishment. After talking with our Uber driver she stated that, she had heard multiple situations of same thing happening to people, in the short time of this place being open. Its unfortunate and Im never the one to pull the race card, but after leaving this place and all of our friends witnessing the events that took place, everyone was in agreement that it was discrimination.
I thought the atmosphere was kind of pretentious but I had a good time, surprisingly. The sparklers going off randomly inside the bar put ashes in my beer. When I asked for a new beer the bartender inspected my beer like I was lying. She then gave me a new beer (with an attitude) with a glass that has a chip on it which cut my lip. Obviously both these things were bad luck but the bartender could have turned something catastrophic like cutting my lip on the chipped glass she gave me into an opportunity to provide good customer service.I will say the best part of the bar was the layout and the DJ killed it all night.
Never going back to this club ! I am a regular at a majority of the clubs in dfw! I always pay my tab and over tip. The first time I went to the club with my friends the staff looked at us like we didn’t belong until my nfl friends came then we got treated decently. My tab was 2275 for 1 bottle of henny 1 Don Julio regular and 1 ciroc...the waitress did not bring me the tab or receipt she just told me what I owed and I tipped her 300 over.. the next time I went to the club was 11/9/19 I made sure I txtd the waitress at 12:30 letting her know I was on my way .. I got there at 12:40 and they gave my section away .. they put us by the door and still required me to pay 2275 I asked to move over a section they said no, by 1 o’clock the table next to me that I had asked to move to got kicked out because they could not pay their tab they were white ppl by the way .. so I ordered 1 henny 1 ciroc a 1942 and a champagne for 2275 mind you the 1942 was 800 so I’m wondering how I got this much liquor for the same price has last time but I only order regular bottles and got no receipt ... the previous waitress pocketed my money then sold my section ... I tipped the waitress 300 and told her I was never comming back ... there are rumors this place is racist and they only like white people in their clubs unless you are an athlete... I got to see first hand that this is true! I will not be going back and I will be speeding the word
Guys there dont really know how to talk to girls so huge plus if you know what you are doing. The place is crowded and very fun. Drinks vary widely in prices so it kinda depends on how boujie u are for example beer is very cheap. Redbull vodka very expensive. U will most likely have a great night if you come here
This place is racist. I was told I could not come in with Jordan brand shoes. Gym shoes are ok, but not Jordans. Almost every customer had on gym shoes. While waiting outside the line after being kicked out of line, the security guard told a group of black girls Yeezy brand shoes are not allowed and kicked them out of line as well. Then the security guard started being very disrespectful to the women screaming at them to move back.We were meeting a friend (white guy) at this location when he learned why we were being denied entrance. He spoke with the manager and the manager told him, We dont allow anyone with gym shoes. Our friend replied, Everyone got on gym shoes! At this point we didnt want to spend money there and decided to go next door to Backyard and had a great time!
They make excuses NOT to let in most minority Men. If you show up on a slow night or with a group of pretty ladies then you have a shot of getting in. Otherwise, they favor white or Athletic looking men. This has been my experience several times, last in March of 2020. Not sure if it has changed now.
Such an awesome venue! Love the look, the staff, and of course the pizza! Who doesnt want a cool place for great food and drinks? Will definitely be coming back and bringing my friends along!
