Customer service has declined a lot lately. I was there today and all workers were in a rush, talking super loudly with each other during the service, interrupting our massages to greet people coming in, and ended all services about 5-10 minutes early. We still paid for the full service (3x 30 min foot massage) and left some tip reflective of the bad service. The guy who took our payment was visibly mad because, on top of all that, he was expecting more tip. Terrible experience. I recommend you look for another massage place and don’t come here.

I really love this place! Recently, I’ve been having back pain and every time it gets hard to handle, I’ll come here for a massage. The guy who did my massage relaxed my shoulder very well and finished perfectly on time. My muscles and my back felt a lot better afterwards. Highly recommend!

Foot massage is good and deep, but they always end short of the 30 minutes, not to mention leaving twice to talk to coworker and also turning up AC. Its really about 27 minutes. Happened both times I was here. Only went here because I was in the area ....but usually go somewhere else.

I normally love this place. The last three times I’ve gone have not been up to par. Went today for a quick combo foot and chair. I should have specified exactly which one they automatically gave the higher combo. No big deal. The issue I have is the masseuse was just entirely too rough. I was vocal about my discomfort and he just chuckled. I attempted to breathe through the pain but it was too much pressure to enjoy. Not only that I had to repeat myself about my discomfort. Later in the evening I felt like someone seriously beat my back. To my surprise I was basically beaten. You can see the bruises on my back and my legs along with what looks like a skin burn from continuous rubbing with no lubricant. This establishment use to be my go to for relaxation from work. Now I have to recover from this “relaxing” experience. Please listen when a customer is vocal about their unpleasant experience or discomfort.

The massage was not great and a part of that was having to listen to the occasional talking amongst the workers.But I’m mostly disappointed that our time was cut short by two minutes each.My husband recommended this spa but did say in the two previous times that he and my son visited that his time was also cut a couple minutes short.

Great place for a massage. You can do any amount of time depending what your schedule allows. Love the flexibility. You can walk in and if there’s a wait, usually it’s not too long. Andy is my favorite but everyone is really good. The place is clean and just what you need for a drop in reflexology or chair massage! Affordable prices and very relaxing.

10/10 will be back. Amazing foot massage. Excited to try a chair and table massage as well. Clean and cheap hidden gem.

This place is great for a solid, relaxing, no-frills massage. The communal room is dark and quiet, and the chairs are super comfortable. They all have very strong hands, which is better than weak, but sometimes I need to tell them to use less pressure. Its well-priced and there is almost never a wait.

Where do I start --- I just love this place. Dr. Hunter, Jason, You-You, to name just a few are my staple faves. But theyre all good. Typically I get a full-on massage in the back, but the chair massage is wonderful when unable to spend full hour. Thank you Relax Day Spa for taking good care of me!

If you’re looking for an affordable massage and don’t need all the bells and whistles then this will be your spot. I received an hour lay down massage and it was great. Alice my masseuse was AMAZING and communicated with me throughout my massage to make sure it was to my liking. 10/10 i’d recommend!

I’ve been coming here once a week for several years, and you can’t beat the price for an excellent self-care treat. Everyone is so lovely and applies great pressure. You may have to tell them “too hard,” but I’d rather that than not enough. Anyway, I love relax and recommend them often! :)

Been coming here for the last 8 years and have never had an issue. Today when I walked in a lady greeted me and I told her combo one. She sat me down with a bucket of water and then I waited 15 min and a guy proceeded to complete the massage. When I went to pay he charged me for a combo 2, I said I asked for a 1, its a $15 difference. He was incredibly rude to me and then asked for a tip, the other staff told him to go ahead and charge me for a 1. I still left a tip, but next time Ill go somewhere where Im not given attitude. If you look at any of my receipts over the time there Ive only ever gotten the same thing. Wont be back!!

0 star -Horrible service and very rude!my massage person demanded more money for a tip.A 30 min massage cost $30 and I tipped $5 which is 16% thats reasonable considering he was rude and speaking to his co workers throughout my treatment.Three of us got a massage and they first tried shorting my time to 20 min vs 30. Then he demanded more cash very loudly and disrupted others while getting a massage. Not to say how he tried to humiliate me. He continued to yell and demanded more tip.I was so embarrassed that he was treating me as if I didnt pay for my service. I will never return here.Please consider a more professional

Such a treat to be able to get a walk-in appointment for a massage. The lovely people who work here are quite skilled in un-tying those pesky knots I tend to have. The ambiance is perfect and I always feel cared for when I visit. Sometimes after I leave, I have to sit in my car for a little while, due to the extremely blissful state of mind I find myself in after a 45 minute chair massage. I always sleep like a baby after a visit here!

Been coming for years and have always had fabulous massages. They will tear you up in a good way. Ive never had to wait more than 5 min and Ive always walked away saying man that was amazing.

This is my go to place to help relieve my neck and shoulder pain. The chair massages are heaven and are just enough pressure that it slightly hurts but feels so good. I also just walk in every time and have never had to wait.

Came in for massage, they showed me to a room, waited 20 minutes undressed on a table and no one ever came in. Finally give up and get dressed and go back out and they say oh sorry 5 more minutes. Beyond bizarre to think your customer waiting half naked on a table with no heads up for 25 minutes is okay.

I used to come here regularly, but I’ll find another place in the future. The last 3x I’ve gone, the quality keeps tapering off either from apathy from the masseuses, my feedback was ignored (eg harder/softer), had to deal with attitude, or other non-insignificant issues.This time around when I asked for increased pressure, I had to stop the masseuse multiple times because his idea of adding pressure meant he was digging his nails into my skin. He not only seemed annoyed with the feedback but he also seemed annoyed when I asked for warmer water because the water for the foot massage that you presoak in was lukewarm. After using some of the towels, he threw them where the bucket was at the wall rather than just gently tossing them in. It’s disruptive to the tranquility of the space and for other patrons when they here a loud thud of wet towels hitting a bin. I also got two mosquito bites while there.Enough is enough. Go somewhere else.

I highly recommend this place for anyone new to the neighbourhood. The massage was fantastic. I really love how she hold the muscle and patiently wait for it to release.

I am not one to leave reviews, but here we go.I am new to Austin, but have gotten regular massages for several years due to chronic migraines and back pain. I saw this location accepted walk ins and was close to me, so I decided to check it out.I walked in and asked if they had time for a 90 minute table massage, which they did. I asked if they were able to do a Swedish massage, and was told no problem.During my massage not only was the massage very rough and definitely more of a deep tissue massage if you even want to call it that. The masseuse did not seem to have any knowledge of basic massage technique-it was very sporadic and all over the place. He also did not use any lotion during the massage until I asked for it, and even then used so little that it was still very uncomfortable.I asked several times for lighter pressure and was either not heard or not understood. It got to the point where I was actually crying because of the discomfort. I was counting down the minutes for it to be over. He also went in and out of the massage room at least 3 times with no explanation.To top it off, after I dressed I opened the door that I was lead through that I assumed went back out to the lobby. Instead, I accidentally walked in on another client getting a table massage. Extremely awkward for all involved.Needless to say, I will not be returning.

My daughter & I got foot massage. Her masseuse talked to co workers continually. He shortage her time & then raised a ruckus because his tip wasn’t enough. $5 ??? They were rude & persistent. Tips are not mandatory- especially when his service was lousy. We came home angry & stressed.

I come here once in awhile when my back/shoulders are especially stiff. I love that they do walk-ins, because Im not a planner.Theyre incredibly quick, efficient, and respectful. This is my favorite place to treat myself. Thank you!

I personally love this place. The table massage is the best. They rotate masseuses but I’m lucky i always get the same guy who does a strong neck and back massage. It’s amazing. He really gets out all the kinks and feel so much better than how i did when I first went in. I always want to go in before but work so much that i never have the time but this guy seems to be able to still meet the challenge of my messed up nerves and muscles. Thank you. Great work!!! Nice and relaxing. I just wish they would have monthly promotions or special packages and a reward program to lower the price and give a discount to special loyal, repeat customers.

Absolute best massage of my life! Walked in without an appointment and was helped immediately for a 30 minute table massage. I feel like a new person, and it only cost me $38. This place knows what theyre doing! Dont expect chit chat, but I prefer my massages to be quiet anyway. Definitely going to be a regular!

You will get an amazing massage for the price! Their hands are very strong and they will go hard - as Id expect with any Asian massage parlor. You can ask them to go softer. For $38 - combo 1 - you get a $40 min foot reflexology massage and a 15 min chair massage. You will be in a large dimly lit room with many chairs and many people. Ive never felt uncomfortable. Yes they expect a tip and why not? They are working on your body and at a great price. Ive waiting an hour for a spot on a Saturday so be aware that may happen.

Although the people who work here are undoubtedly good intentioned, this place was “mediocre” at best. 😔 The two massage therapists that my friend and I had during our 90-minute massage laughed at my friend every time her therapist pushed too hard and hurt her. 😢 Super inappropriate. 😏My therapist’s techniques were awful…sadly. She displayed no real understanding of how to give an effective massage. 😳Both therapists talked to each other throughout the entire hour and a half. And when one of their phones rang, I realized that this place doesn’t have their heart in providing a competent service from the heart. It felt like they’re just open to make money. 🤔Disappointing all around. Especially given that they charge $114 for a 90-minute massage…so it’s not even a fair value. 🙁

I go here every week. There has never been a wait, and every masseuse Ive had has been wonderful. Great prices and package combos too. Very convenient and high-quality, easy parking, highly recommend.

Very rude people. I asked for the guy standing there I used before and the girl stepped in. They were very rude yelling to not talk. How are you supposed to tell them what you want? During the foot massage I had to tell the girl 4 times about the pressure.These arent licensed massage therapists so dont expect a real massage. If you want a Featherlite experience then this is your place.She even got the equipment stuck and never said thank you for the tip she didnt deserve.Never going back waste of money.This needs to be reported to the Tx Cos Board because they can actually injure you like the girl did on my surgical arm I told her not to do

Just had an amazing experience and was able to work out without pain afterwards. I have so much neck and all over body pain but was grateful I’m feeling better now. My therapist was Tom and he did a great job and got it there. They are all friendly and be sure to leave a nice tip for such great service.

Overall, this is definitely one of the better walk-in massage places, offering complimentary bottled water, and theyve upgraded to hot towels from paper towels. However, I would avoid waiting when theres a line, because the staff get tired and the massages become rushed and less than attentive. However, when theyre not too busy, the quality of the massage for the price is excellent.

My husband and I went to this place. Got a 20 min chair massage. Our massage started with being shoved into our chairs. Then both the massage therapist spend the next 20 minutes having a full blown conversation with each other. The therapist was laughing the whole time and totally missing the pressure points. I have had many reflexology massages... this one was the worst. And to top it all off the lady insisted we give them 15-20% tip.

The oil used was in an old container of Dove hand soap. You dont see flowers lying around no aroma therapy scents. Music is way too loud. Massage therapist is good but left the room twice during 11/2 hour massage. I had bruises on my arms next day. It felt good but first time I ever have had bruises from a massage. Not enough oil was used. Not a complete massage my thighs were not done.

I have been here many times and 99% of the time it was great. This is the 2nd time I got what I would call rubbing oil on my feet period! No pressure applied even after I requested more pressure. It was far from relaxing. All I could think of was just getting out of there. I experience real foot pain as a result of chemotherapy. So I need a real message to help my pain.

The employees at this establishment are extremely rude and the quality of the massage was underwhelming to say the least. I could never recommend their business.

Just left this place. Had a 50 minute foot reflexology. It was awesome and I’m very particular! Looks like everyone there knows what they are doing. Very clean and while everyone is in one big room, it was still very relaxing. I’m in town visiting from Dallas and this beats YaYA foot spa hands down!

I love the prices, and the environment seems relatively clean. My only complaint would be that you cant be sure that you will get the same masseuse every time. I have had really excellent massages and mediocre massages it really just depends on you end up with.

Asian massages - table, chair, or foot massages. I had a 30 min chair massage, after my workout. Muscular therapist gave very physical massage. I winced a few times, but all in all it was a very effective massage. I felt relaxed afterwards. I definitely will do it again.

Pretty nice place. Prices are great. Im actually writing this while Im getting my massage. The only thing that I didnt like is that they can or force you to tip. They dont like it if you dont. Well, if I get a good service Ill rip for sure. But if its an ok job I know what to do.

Wow! What a rude staff! First a guy whistled at me and clapped his hands to get my attention like I didn’t know where I was going. Then after I wanted to get a 15 in the chair along with the 40 min reflexology they charged me 10 dollars more. There was no reasoning with them. The guy was even offended that I tipped him 2 dollars and he even came back to scold me about why they over charged me 10 dollars. Then another staff laughed at me like I was stupid.Please don’t waste your time and money here.

The ambiance of the spa is good, the problem is their therapist. He offer me an extra service. Ill not recommend this to anyone who wants to look for legit massage.

Always end up going back to relax day spa after trying other places. They are well trained in acupressure massage that gets those cranky spots each time.

BE VERY CAREFULL . Shady PLace!!!! First of all they could give a hoot if you get relax...they talk and rush like they cant wait to get rid of you. I have the worst foot massage. When it was so soft that I had to say a bit harder please . The woman went from way too week and soft to so hard it felt like she wanted to break my foot !! They talked most of the time and rushed through like the last thing they wanted to do is get you relaxed. I went to pay my fee plus tip (cause Im nice not cause she deserved a tip) and the guy who was also in a rush put my card through and said oh did not go through and put the card through a second time. My gut said he was lying and sure enough my card was charged twice. This place has one thing on their mind YOUR MONEY!!!! NOTHING ZEN ABOUT THIS PLACE>>>DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND SKIP IT ALL TOGETHER!!!

Quick, no nonsense, and cheap massage. Dont mistake the cheap price for their quality. They do top dollar work. Cracked parts of my body that I didnt know could crack. Excellent all around.

Chair massage prices in web site are not what they are charging.Theres no arguing with them, but I hope this makes them update their website. Paid 50% more than I was expecting to pay. Thats not cool.

No wait, 20 minutes, no talking. The masseuse hit all of the trigger points in my shoulder correctly and showed me the door. Im pain free and more flexible the next day. Pretty cool.

Cant believe they dont have more reviews. Love this place. The price is right on and the services have always been amazing. I have stoped going to sports physical therapy and started this route which has been a better fix, less time, less money.

Just tried to purchase a gift card for someone but they have no online platform, people that speak poor English, and no way of providing a receipt if purchased over the phone. They called back and stated my CC was no good and hung up. Come on now.
