Relax Sun Spa

The price is good. But I came here twice and each shoulder got hurt. Why did I come the second time? Because the first time my right shoulder started to hurt I didn’t connect it to this place. Until my left shoulder started to hurt right after the second massage here.

I love this place. Great massages, no wait time or short wait time with walk-ins, really earnest and nice staff, cozy, beautifully decorated with soft lighting.

This is the third time I’ve tried to leave my comments. All and all it was a good massage until the very end the man told me to flip over so he could do the inside of my thighs in the last two minutes, but proceeded to lift up my underwear and grab my junk for a split second and then put the underwear back up, I didn’t know what to think so I kept my mouth shut, but he then went to the other side to do the other thigh and did the same thing. I don’t know if it’s a cultural thing and I’m making a big deal about nothing but I don’t appreciate it and I won’t be going back.

Fantastic experience every time. From a 15 minute foot massage to the foot/chair combo to a full body massage, excellent experience every time.

This place is my go-to for a quick massage because it’s affordable, well done and the people are kind and thorough. Occasionally, you can get a massage with pressure that’s too aggressive, if you don’t speak up, but I personally like deep tissue. It’s not for everyone, but I’ll continue to frequent Relax-sun!

Beautiful facility and professional staff. We did a couples massage. I would rate it a 5 for a Chinese deep tissue intensive massage where you get work done if muscles are tense. My husband would rate it a 3 because he felt his female massage therapist wasn’t trained and he told her about 5 times what she was during was hurting him. My person was great. I was very happy they got us in the same day within fifteen minutes of calling. I would come back, but my husband wouldn’t. Just know if you like a Chinese massage because it is very different than an American massage.

These men get deep into your problem areas. This is my go to place, nothing fancy, but so much relief! The therapist work hard and constant with little to no breaks. I will say some therapist are better than others, however, I prefer very deep work. Have recommended this place many of times. Affordable, assessable and good. I love it here! Best massage in Austin. Know what I’m getting every time I walk in. Completely beats the run of the mill franchise places. If it anyone complains about price, they need to think about the quality. THE BEST

I was in the area and read such good reviews about this place so I decided to give it a try. When you first walk in there is an entryway where you mask up, get your temperature taken and choose a service. The person who did this was in a huge hurry and we had a language barrier. I almost left right then because I just felt uncomfortable with the way I was treated but really needed a massage and decided to stick it out. I chose the least expensive chair massage and I hoped things would get better. I tried to explain to her to go gentle on one particular shoulder because it was sore but I don’t think the message went through. As soon as she got into a groove and I started to relax a little bit, things would happen. During the massage, she asked me if it was OK and every 10 to 15 seconds. Also, she was constantly talking to other people and darting off to do something else. When the time was up, she seemed to be rushing me to get out of the chair and pay. I told her that I needed to use the restroom and on the way there there was a large roach breakdancing in the storage room hallway leading to the restroom. It would’ve been really nice to go to a restroom that was a bit nicer. Before that, as I was walking she pulled on my mobility device and made me fall. What the hell was wrong with this woman? I ended up paying and leaving a small tip even though I didn’t want to after such horrible service. I almost asked to talk to someone about what had happened but was too overwhelmed at the moment to do that. I just wanted to get out of there. My anxiety was really high at that point and I was starting to panic. Not exactly the effect I expected from going into such a place. The only reason I left two stars is because the massage area is beautifully decorated and very relaxing. The way I was treated is horrible. At this point I would like my money refunded but I doubt that will ever happen. I waited quite a while to leave this review because I just don’t like leaving bad reviews, especially on small businesses. I know they are struggling enough as it is.

Had lower back pain and after each session these therapists have been able to relieve the pain - without fail! Never a long wait and they are super friendly and welcoming! Highly recommend!

The MOST AMAZING EXPERIENCE! My friends & I walked in (unknowingly) just before closing time. Joshua assured us in the most kindly manner that they welcomed our business, and ushered us to sit down. We walked in to the most peaceful room, with a beautiful ceiling that inspires awe & serenity. All three of us walked out on cloud 9. We’ve never felt so comfortable or more welcomed in similar establishments as we were here, at Relax Sun Spa.

Just went for a 45 minute foot massage and all I can say is WOW. It was the right amount of pressure while still being able to relax and enjoy my experience. Loved it! Definitely coming back!

I have been coming here for 4 years. Predictable, clean, quiet and relaxing. Pricing fantastic, a 20% tip doesnt seem like enough. The communication can be spotty, as most of the employees dont speak English very well, but it never prohibits a lack of quality or customer care thats exhibited through kindness. Ive come here after a shoulder dislocation and through pregnancy and theyve always been able to respect that I need a gentler massage!

This place is a hidden gem! They are so talented and I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes. Try to foot massage with the chair massage to relax. I’ve had leg issues for a long time, and they have done a lot to ease that pain when I go.

Ive had a chair massage 3 times here. Every one has been great. The lady was a little gentler than the young men who massaged me. One of the guys found a knot and worked it relentlessly, I swear he has the sharpest elbows of anyone. I was sore for three days...It was great! Will definitely continue to go there.

Relax Sun Spa was able to take care of us quickly and professionally when we were looking for a nice massage after a long and busy weekend. The location is clean and smells nice, and the massage tables are comfortable.The only downside is that the massages seem to automatically be deep tissue massages, and was not discussed prior to starting. While relaxing and nice, I did end up with a few bruises and tender spots on my back and temples after the massage, but that’s partially on me for not communicating better what I was looking for in a massage.

Great therapeutic massage. I injured my back last year and have been in constant pain since then, living on advil. I went seeking relief from this pain and have found it. Jesse delivered a perfect deep tissue, firm but not TOO firm, Not a fancy new age place wasting time, good value. . Walk in friendly, seems like a family business. Clean and pleasant. I will be returning regularly

They got me in quickly and I had a wonderful relaxing experience until I paid. My bill was $38. I then left a $4 tip which is not my usual but money for me is tight right now. The therapist ( we have a language barrier) keeps pointing to the amount of cash I gave him like I didn’t pay my bill. Me not understanding just looking at him. Then he writes 20% next to the tip line!!!!!!! I told him I’m sorry but $4 tip is all I can do now. I was shocked - sadly I will not go back there. I’ve been going there on and off for two years.

The male therapists in particular provide the best foot massages Ive ever had, and Ive had literally hundreds. They know all the pressure points and arent afraid to apply plenty of pressure (the ONLY way a massage can be therapeutic). If youre looking for a mild foot rub that avoids pressure points, I suggest somewhere else--you wont have trouble finding it in Austin

On a random Thursday night after a delicious dinner around the corner, my friend and I decided to walk around the shopping center before heading home and on a whim, decided to check them out. What a Treat! I went for the 40 minute Foot Reflexology massage while she had a Chair Massage. Incredible ! You really owe it to yourself to give them a try...prices are very very reasonable and the place is gorgeous inside.

Just got a massage from this place. While the massage (deep tissue) was good, the therapist was so damn push about the tip afterwards. I left a 20% tip but the masseuse was trying to “haggle” for a 25% tip….very low-class if you ask me. Just because of this I’d recommend avoiding

Amazing quality and price. I have been to a few Asian massage places. This is definitely more of a massage to relax and loosen things up. Not really if you have specific knots you want to get worked out. I felt comfortable and the gentleman was attentive. I did combo 4. I was pleased with the bumpy bottom of the bucket of warm water that you soak your feet in at the beginning. After the foot relax part I was taken to a different room that was private. I already got excited seeing poles installed above the table. Im actually not sure he walked on my back. I know he definitely got on top of the table with legs on either side and applied downward pressure with his hands. The massage was amazing except for one thing which is the reason for four stars... my face didnt fit nicely into the hole of the table. It isnt like a normal massage table where it extends past the table and the face rest is inserted into the edge of the table. This table the hole is pre cut into it. So I had to choose between letting my face sit in the hole but I would have my esophagus smashed into the edge of the hole when pressure was applied near my shoulders, or to sit my forehead on the edge and put hard pressure on my brow and have to sort of hold my neck straight. But still enjoyable and worth it! I will definitely be back.

My massage therapist if she truly is licensed, clearly was having a bad day. She was lazy during massage and not applying much pressure so I nicely told her it was ok to apply more pressure. She dug her hands into my leg causing severe pain. I lay there with tears coming out of my eyes and pulled my leg back. She then took my leg back and applied normal pressure. I went there because I was in pain and left feeling more!!! Beware of trying to tell them that you need more pressure or you have any areas to avoid on your body.

I have been multiple occasions for foot reflexology and all other experiences were fantastic. I went last night and it was not a good experience. The reflexologist was rushed, focused on one area for too long causing pain, scrubbed my legs dry with the paper towel which felt like sand paper. had a chair massage as well. Never again will I do a chair massage. I woke this morning with bruising on my lower back and arms.

1st time visit. Im an Uber driver. I had a cramp in my neck. Walked in and was on a table within minutes.

Clearly says theyre open till 9:00 on the photo. Their light was on also saying that theyre open. Last time I checked the cost to buy some razor blades to take off stickers off of a window wear like $2. If your hours have changed you probably got enough time after work to remove it from the window.

I just had the worst massage here. DO NOT COME HERE. I weight lift and wanted someone to rub my lower back and hips. Instead, the man who massaged me focused on my SHOULDER BLADES, rubbing the bone and scraping at it with his elbows for 45 minutes of pure pain. The massage ended with scalding hot towels being applied to my back and legs.I was physically in pain, wincing, and saying OW, hoping he would ease up. There was no skill in the “massage” he gave me. It was absolute torture and left me with a considerable amount pain.

Ima day this.I went in there with a minor beached and for the pass 2 days I have had a major headache.Applied to much pressure on the same spot. I know you are supposed to be sore but it’s ridiculous. Now when I cough the lower back of my head hurt really bad.After I kept saying “soft softer”I have never felt like I wanted a massage to end.

It is a must everytime I come to Austin. I leave feeling stress free. Foot reflexology is relaxing and the best I have found. I never knew how much tension our feet hold. I feel like I am walking on air after!

The foot massage is my favorite. They quickly accommodate walk-ins, have a dark and comfortable space, and give the best massages. I highly recommend them!
