Fun speakeasy with delicious cocktails! We actually came for a fun comedy show and got front row :) loved the ambiance and all the comics were great 😊

I must say this speakeasy was a VIBE! Those hot honey wings were amazing, juicy, flavorful, sweet with some kick! I also enjoyed “the Thrill is Gone” it’s an old fashioned little on the sweeter side but that bourbon is still there! Our server was amazing, sweet attentive and took care of us! My girlfriend and I were lucky to try their secret menu for the night and the Phonebooth passion was really good along with the Busy Bee! Highly recommend those if you can try them. We will definitely be back to vibe out!

We went on a Friday night. No instructions on how to get our reserved table- took over 5 minutes to track the gal down to get our table. Then took over 20 minutes to get drinks despite the tables around us ordering later than we did and getting them before us. Maybe our waiter didn’t put the order in? Unclear as she never checked back until we had to wave her down to get our check after being ignored several times. The drinks were very sweet and completely unbalanced for $16 cocktails. The music was good. Wouldn’t return.

I never write reviews for Google reviews but I felt it was needed to do so here. The bar tender - greeter at the door was so kind. But the light skin bottle girl (don’t remember her name) treated me an my date TERRIBLY we will never be coming here again.

Just walked in with no reservation. It was pretty empty so they seated us. Drinks were not very good for the price we had two drinks and paid 42 dollars. We were two people and gratuity was already added to the bill. Thought it was odd that it was added to the bill already for a two person tab, you usually see that for a party of 5 or more. But honestly this place is not worth it. Go up the street to Nickel city. You’ll get better drinks, service, and prices.

Best speakeasy in town! 10/10 recommend if you like a relaxing lounge for a date night or with friends. They have hookah, food and cocktails. My favorite drink is the “Bamba” - fair warning you can’t taste the alcohol (;

If you go ask for Axa! She’s amazing and gives recommendations. Free shots on arrival! The vibe, food and music was great. You won’t be disappointed. My favorite drink is on the secret menu called the Busy Bee!! It gives old fashion vibes but with gin and has a piece of honeycomb in it. My boyfriend and I also tried the Hot and Honey wings— greatness! Theyre big juicy and saucy; you get 6 wings. You will be glad you’ve tried this speakeasy!! We will be coming back very very soon!

Came here for a private event and I have to say, the staff was fantastic. Professional, quick, but not rushed.Jeff in particular upped the ante on hospitality and congeniality, even to customers that closed down the bar!Cool spot. Look forward to returning to enjoy the speakeasy another day when it is open to the public.

Too loud. Two times too much space between seats. Two fantastic drinks. That I had to order at the bar while three servers and three bartenders stood around chatting and smoking hookah. Two stars.

Love going to Busy Signal for a chill night with friends as well as for an epic party! This place is where its at!

Charged $543 for 6 drinks - beware of this business. Will be contesting my bill and reporting them for this rip off.Sharing this now right after the Bolly House night. The person behind the bar was completely unprofessional. I was never given a receipt for my bill and was just handed the card back with no idea how much i was charged. I tried asking for one but was just ignored!! Got a nasty surprise charge of $543 once i got back home.The bartender at the first told me that they add 20% gratuity to all checks and dont give any bills since they have no printer.This is just ridiculous business practice for a speakeasy with $16 cocktails.

TLDR: they try to swindle you and the service and drinks aren’t good.Came here for drinks tonight (a Friday). Had a reservation. Got there a little after 7. Place was basically empty.We inquired about some of the food options on the menu and were initially told the kitchen wasn’t open yet, only to later be told it wouldn’t be opening at all that night.Ordered two drinks priced at $10 each (neither of which we liked - the old fashioned inspired drink basically tasted like Fireball) and then when it was time to close out, our tab magically came to over $40 after factoring in “tax and gratuity”, says the server, without showing me a detailed receipt. Seriously? Essentially 100% gratuity automatically applied? Is that even legal? The service wasn’t even good; our server was not attentive and we had to ask for the check twice.Sub par service and bad cocktails is one thing, but the extremely untoward and frankly downright shady experience with our tab was shocking. Never in my life have I felt taken advantage of on a tab at a bar, until tonight. If you’re still reading, please, just don’t go here and spend your money elsewhere.

We loved this place!! The nicest bouncer greeted us out front and showed us a great time. Good music and good people, we will be back!

Went Friday night for halloweekend. It was my first time going, we were served by one of the bartenders named Jeff and the service was honestly amazing. It gave a speakeasy vibe and the drinks were great! Honestly, don’t really go to east BUT will definitely be going back for the ambiance. 5 stars on my end for sure!!!

Really great speakeasy that beats out all the overcrowded bars. The decor and atmosphere are trendy, drinks were fun and tasty, and service was prompt. It’s intimate enough to have space to sit and talk, but still lively with a good vibe and instagram worthy photo ops.

New to Austin but came across this bar through a friend. If you go, ask for Jeff. The best bartender you will ever have! Hands down. Also the vibe of the place was really cool and something new that I haven’t experienced in a lot of places… would definitely recommend if you like trying new things and dark and mysterious atmospheres.

Busy Signal has great music and a cute little vibe. The ambiance was great for the holidays. They do charge 20% gratitude at the tables and the service wasn’t good. You don’t sign off on the charges at the end of the night. They just close your tab and hand you your card like it’s nothing. I had to follow the “table girl” around to get a receipt. The hookahs weren’t even good. They were very harsh and we had to track down the girl to get someone to fix it which took another 20-30minutes. Mind you, the tables weren’t busy and it was a slow night. There wasn’t a lot of people in there. Street parking wasn’t bad. We didn’t try any food.

Vibes are immaculate. Exceptional cocktails, music is on point, and Black owned. Once they get food it’s a wrap.

A hidden gem on 11th, great vibe, superb ambience, and drinks to match said vibe. Very chill Friday evening, lighting to match. Had a couple of house mojitos here which were beyond delicious and some chill time with the bar owner and staff. If you’re in the area, this is a place to absolutely check out.Don’t be freaked out if the bar is empty, head to the pay phone at the end of the hall and just push….

My friends and I have gone here a few times since we discovered it. Always has a good vibe and the workers are very accommodating! It has become our favorite hidden gem! Great place to grab a delicious drink and hangout/catchup with friends!:)

This place is a VIBE!!! Such a sexy, secret speakeasy in east Austin with an epic ambiance. The craft cocktails are so well balanced, fresh and incredible. They have different live music events every weekend so it’s always popping! Such a great place to go on a date, hang with friends and vibe out. Love it here!

Victory east had some great food and great customer service and the Busy signal was very chill, great music, the vibe mellow and we definitely go back

Awesome atmosphere, amazing drinks, chill vibes. Find cool one off events here or take a friend to something new/different. Classy atmosphere with a secret door. Speakeasy like that’s not stuck up. 10/10 reccomend if you are looking for a fun, relaxing while still high class experience.

5 stars for the one-on-one convo with the bar tender and the exquisite, well-thought-of cocktail recipes. Find the secret door to the speak easy and step down into a swanky, low-light, old world, lounge-type venue with a special history. I wish this business much success. Try the ‘Summertime’. It has enough spice, smoke, balance, and complexity to be a perennial menu mainstay.

Just discovered this place and it surpassed my expectations. Atmosphere and vibes were 10/10! Ask for Lola when you come - she was so kind and made sure we always had a drink in our hands. Highly recommend checking this place out!

We were visiting Austin and we were looking for a place to dance. There were lots of customers when we arrived but the music was so bad and boring that most of the customers left. The DJ was so snobby and rude. He was sitting and drinking the whole time and didn’t care to change the music. We asked him when are you going to play good music, and he answered rudely:at 10 :00. By 10:00 most of the customers have left . We waited on him to play something fun so we can dance but he played awful music and never made eye contact with the customers. This place has potentials. They need to change this smug DJ, and play better music.

Very friendly atmosphere. First time in town with my partner and it was not a disappointment. Service was fast and waitress answered all of our questions. Would definitely come back. 🩷

Christmas drinks were so impressive and on point. Hit this spot if you want better drinks than Nickel City taste wise and if it’s too packed! Bravo, little too classy for myself but my friends loved it!

The overall vibe is immaculate! It’s just a low key, fun, boppy, welcoming vibe! Lola and Steven are amazing and have introduced me to a new place that I will definitely become a regular at. Thank you for the vibes! 🙏🏼

Beautiful place!! loved the speak easy vibe. price is pretty standard for austin. the bouncer was very polite and after going in, we had the best time with the bartender jeff!!! he was very knowledgable and not to mention easy on the eyes ;)

Jeffery and Steven were the best bartenders ever. He was so personable and lovely. He was accommodating and welcoming. Everything I needed in a speakeasy. They were sexy too 😏

Update: made a reservation for 6PM and confirmed it, but no one contacted me to tell me that they now open at 7PM. What kind of business are you running?No way for me to make a reservation or contact the bar. Have tried so many options but no correspondence!

Great place to be. Music was great, service was amazing, (ask for Lola, she was wonderful!), drinks are phenomenal. If you haven’t been, add to your list of places to go when in Austin!

This spot has a great atmosphere and will definitely be a go to spot for me moving forward. Jeffrey behind the bar took amazing care of me and the drink menu was exceptional.

Scam and fraudulent. Guys bartender put extra tip on credit card and told everyone that they dont have printed receipt. Illegal. Check your transaction. You might have extra $10 on each transaction.
