ClearPort ATX Austin Night Club

This is my first time really ever on 6th Street, and the whole night was spectacular. ClearPort ATX was the icing on the cake. The bouncer specifically picked both myself and my boyfriend now and we went in there and it was just a really great vibe. I got to sing Fall Out Boy with the bartender who had amazing hair, shake my booty a little bit, climb up somewhat steep stairs to reach the roof and the couches ( so if youre already intoxicated beyond measure I wouldnt recommend tackling those stairs) and the cross breeze from the rooftops was phenomenal.I had an absolutely spectacular time.

Say no #NOATXSAUSTIN6thStreet ClearPort ATX | Austin Night Club nice venue HOWEVER the management, bartenders and the SECURITY at the door were AWFULIf youve had a similar experience please speak up this! This venue ruined our evening until Paul Oaklandfold finally arrived at 1am. BAD management and establishment tried to over charge us. It leaves a bitter taste in our mouths! Just SAY no please DONT support hashtag #NOATXSAUSTIN6thStreet if you have has a similar experience.!

Heard it was great a while back so decided to to have a drink this trip. Beautiful place. It was open air and had great bar. There was a. blues band that was ok. It was cool but lacked people. There seem to be employees milling around and not alot of clientele for a Friday night. Read some other reviews after returning to hotel.anf it seems accurate. Seems that it would be an amxing place...hope that owners and managment can bring it back!

After spending an hour trying to find nearby parking as a one leg amputee who never goes out to clubs, I went here Friday June 23rd around 10pm to go buy a Clearport hat (just because I lost my old one). I waited in line for about 10 mins when greeted by a hispanic door guy/bouncer with serious paychological/power issues. I explained I talked to someone on the phone prior to coming who told me I could stop by and pick up a hat. He told me to pay to get in or step aside. I told him I wasnt interested in attending the venue on the inside and asked him if anyone could simply help me get a hat and that I was a one leg amputee on crutches. He rudely refused to help and said were all ex-military here...you aint special...so holding my pride, I stepped aside and after a few moments I started to walk away. While walking away, he gets in my face and tells me I was just testing you to see what type of dude you were....I asked him why would he try to test me and informed one of the other black guys who worked on the inside. He said Ive known the guy for a long time and he would never say that. He said give me the money and Ill go get your hat. So I went to a nearby ATM, came back and gave him $40...I waited 45 mins outside the line on crutches and no one comes back with anything...I complained to another worker and was given $40 in cash back from other patrons who entered paying cash. This was the worst experience of my entire life. Long story short...I wont go back to buy any clearport hat, will never club at clearport, and as a local tech worker on 6th and congress with A LOT of acquaintences and friends who club on 6th st and have gone to clearport many times, I am telling them about my experience all over social media as I recorded the incident on video. The more business I can take away from this d-bag bar/club...the better!P.S. - the clearport website mentions sophisticated hospitality and the ideal location for corporate parties..........far from it. I know I will never recommend my company gather here for drinks.

I went on a random Saturday and had such a good time. The music was lit and the open air concept created a great vibe. Also the drinks are delicious.

My daughter attended the New Years party and someone took or stole her purse. We have been leaving phone messages and a message in FB but have yet to hear from anyone from the club. We tried to report the theft to the Austin police but they want us to make sure that its not in the club. I would appreciate someone from the club to return our calls.

Id recommend clearport to all my friends nation wide . Its a open huge venue with great staff , and local ownership. Your not just another number , you will be treated as a real person. #DOPE AF 5stars

We were there to shoot a video so it wasn’t a normal experience to begin with but I had a blast! Was treated wonderful by staff and didn’t feel ancient.

Really neat venue, saw a funk band on a Tuesday night and it was really a good time.

PLACE USED TO B POPPIN THAN ENTIRE STAFF LEFT AND ITS JUST A SAD PLACE NOW PERIOD !!!... DONT COME HERE AT ALL UNLESS U WANNA WITNESS A SAD SAD PLACE AND WANNA WATCH IT GO TO PEICES.... WEEKEND BY WEEKEND !!... WHAT HAPPEND TO TO U CLEARPORT !!!
