We went there on a Saturday girls night out on the town. They had a live band and then it turns into a dance floor after 11 PM. Music was 1980s til now. The staffs were all super accommodating and friendly. We didnt have a reservations but we got a table towards the end. The drinks were to die for. 10/10 would come back here. But not great for a date night because it was super loud and we had to scream just to be heard lol
This place was an ultimate experience. It was so wonderful for a girls night out to celebrate my birthday.! The vibe inside of the Untitled Supper Club sets in the prohibition period, which has a speakeasy, burlesque type vibe lights were dim it was dark in there but With enough flight to see what you needed to see such as your food, the bar area the show And how to get to the bathroom ;). There were two bars fully stocked, With a huge selection of whiskeys and bourbons. There’s a stage Where the performances are held, which turns into a dance floor Later in the evening. The bathroom were immaculate. There was a Maître D in the bathroom with towels, extra toiletries, and breath, mints things like that. The decor was absolutely lovely. I really enjoyed the ambience. There were nine of us it was a little busy Especially being St. Patrick’s Day weekend. We had one server to serve all of us. She was great, but she did forget a couple of things related to drinks and some of our parings with our meals. She was having other people help her out to bring out her food so I’m sure it wasn’t her fault, but she got right on it We brought it to her attention to make sure we got what we needed. She was serving a lot of tables She was very busy so we didn’t see her much coming back to our table. He had to wait and get her attention that’s for sure, but she was very professional, and A good server overall. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the Seabass, several of us had that it was so well prepared with a savory sauce at the bottom, I also had the Brussels sprouts they were very yummy. Someone had the lamb chops. They said they were very tasty and delicious well prepared, steak was very good as well. Salmon was delicious and well prepared with mashed potatoes, the Parmesan fries, and the calamari were also delicious. The only downside was the crabcakes, they came out later and they were cold so one of our d inner had cold crabcakes so she didn’t eat.She didn’t say anything to take them back and her food came out later than everyone else’s so that was why I gave four stars for the food. There were a couple of dishes on the menu for vegetarian, she got the cauliflower dish that was delicious she enjoyed it.Drinks were very tasty. There was a Women’s History month special drink list, and for every drink that people get they would donate a dollar towards an organization for women, so that was really nice. The drinks weren’t watered down. They were pretty looking and very smooth. Entertainment… What can I say about the entertainment tonight Leon was the guest singer. He was absolutely amazing. He worked the crowd he sang a variety of R&B songs, pop songs, love songs. His range was absolutely amazing. He engage everyone in the crowd, he came out into the crowd, and of course we were standing in the back, singing and dancing. He brought the birthday people up to the front, and we danced to Proud Mary. He had us do an improv performance. It was just a grand old time and then of course we cheered him on to do encore song, after he had ended his performance. He graciously did another song and sang Purple Rain, so we were super excited about that, and just enjoying singing and dancing and we had everyone singing with us !So the tables have a two hour limit, we were probably a little over but it wasn’t a big deal and then we found a space towards the back by the bar. There was a cancellation, so we got another set in a booth and listen to the rest show. After the show was over it turns into a nightclub. We stayed for a while and then they cleared the dance floor reset up the back area near the bar area to a club they removed some table and chairs and put lounge couches, and things like that. It was amazing with the transformation. I have to believe they were open to 4 AM so thet DJ started playing dance music. We got on the dance floor and they played a variety of music to meet the need of crowd. Everybody just enjoyed themselves. It was dancing, drink singing and just good clean fun. A hidden gem in the loop!
This is one of my favorite places in Chciago. I love that you get great food, fantastic drinks, live entertainment, and a chance later in the night to dance - all without a door fee! You can’t miss out on the Fondu when you visit. The service is excellent and personable as well, I just wish they told you when they add the tip on the bill automatically before handing you a bill to sign with a tip line - Update: Untitled reached out to me within an hour of posting this review and credited back the extra tip. Shockingly good customer service! Looking forward to returning.
This place was awesome! The food was delicious and the service was top-notch. We came here back in March, had a reservation at 8:45 for the Whiskey Library. We were contacted a few days before to confirm the reservation, then we were contacted again the day of that there was a private party and we might get seated later. Once we arrived, the party extended their stay, and we were unable to dine in there. However, they gave us a private booth in the Drawing Room, and Ops Manager Kevin, was very apologetic. After dinner, we wandered to the Library to enjoy some after-dinner cocktails. Kevin made us room at the bar so we could enjoy the experience. We caught the tail end of the burlesque show, and from what we saw, it was a really fun performance. All in all, we had a wonderful experience and can’t wait to visit again next time we’re in town.
If you like whiskey, you must visit this place. The food and cocktails were amazing, and worth the price. My favorite was the Paper Plane. The atmosphere is unique, didnt Fer to see the love shows, however the place itself has a unique, cool atmosphere. Service was fast! The only thing I didnt like was the Apple Pie, it was big enough to share with the table but it tasted alright
Went for restaurant week. The food the entirely MEH. Nothing stood out at all and I left hungry after 4 courses and $100 poorer. One course was literally 3 tiny oysters. Also it was my anniversary dinner and there was one off handed congrats from the host. If it isnt going to be anything, dont have a special occasion drop down menu to get a reservation. I would have been fine if it wasnt asked and it reconfirmed with the reservation email that it was my anniversary.I would not eat there again. The space and staff were lovely. It is a cool place for a cocktail but dont get the food. Go somewhere better, there are so many options in river north.
Very interesting and lively speakeasy in Chicago. The inside is beautiful, dimly lit and classy. They have a variety of drinks. I did not have any food but it was a $75 per person minimum to sit at a table. The bar did not have any of these restrictions so I sat there. Wonderful establishment overall.
My company held an event here years ago and it became one of my favorite places in Chicago. Its the best speakeasy Ive experienced, as well (not that the list is long). The atmosphere and grandeur of the place is impressive, and the service and drinks have always been great. Its not cheap, but for the experience its a good value. My 4-star ranking on the service was due to a mix-up where I got charged twice by the bartender. After I posted a negative review, the owner reached out to me to clear it up. He refunded the amount without hesitation.
This is an amazing place and must try whether living in the Chicago area or just visiting. The ambiance is cool and chic. Great for date night or with a group. The food is pricey, but worth it with the overall experience. The service is spot on! Our waitress was attentive, engaging and suggestive. The Yohan Experience band is one of the best bands I’ve seen in years. We enjoyed the entertainment from beginning to end! The burlesque show during intermission was fantastic and on point. The dancer kept everyone engaged and entertained. We will definitely keep this place on our list to visit again.
Dined here on 2.16.24 for dinner. We had a reservation which required a credit card on file to hold our spot.. 24 hours prior to arrival, I received an email from Monica to confirm our appointment and she reminded us of their strict dress code, Just a friendly reminder, we do have a business casual dress code, which means no baseball caps, t-shirts, ripped jeans, shorts or gym shoes. I replied to the message to confirm my appointment and to let her know we would follow the dress code. Upon arrival, a door attendant asks if you have a reservation and asks to see your I.D. The couple at the door in front of us did not have a reservation and the male had on gym shoes. I brought it to the attendants attention and he brushed it off by saying, it depends on which manager is working. One thing that really disturbed me was, my date was told to remove his hat upon entering. His hat was a Winter hat, not a baseball cap. We were standing under an awning, outside in 20 degree weather in February, but he was told to remove it. Not take it off once he was inside... and he was told immediately after the guy with the gym shoes on, walked in.Upon arrival inside, we were seated at our table after receiving a mini tour. The inside is beautiful. The stage and seating area is very dark, luckily I had a flashlight to see the menu and look at my food when it arrived. Moments later two ladies walked past us and both were wearing ripped jeans, crop tops and gym shoes. I dont understand why the dress code was sent to me as a reminder if they dont enforce it.The food was ok, it just wasnt memorable. If we visit again, it would be for the drinks and atmosphere. Our waitress (forgot her name) was amazing and the performers (kendre music and the dancer) were equally great! I would recommend this place and apparently you can wear whatever you want.
I booked tickets to see their NYE burlesque show. The experience was unique and a lot of fun. The shows are really cool and entertaining. IF you didnt reserve a table, the food was not much to brag about; you barely got any cause not enough quantity coming out and/or not enough people serving the food. When we were able to get to the servers on time to snatch something, the burgers and fries were good. Would I do it again? Probably not but nonetheless, a unique experience and great performers!
As soon as you walk in you are presented with great customer service. The aesthetic is inviting, calm, and nostalgic. I really love how things were decorated for the holidays as well. You can automatically feel the Christmas spirit with the music and greeting of Santa Clause. What really topped my experience was the amazing service I received from my waiter Walter. He was very attentive, knowledgeable, and very kind. You can tell he genuinely cares about everyone he serves and is really good at working in fast paced environments. As far as food and drinks go everything was cooked to perfection in my opinion. I had the Hotel Nacional as my drink, and to eat I had a burger with fries.
We went for dinner in the Drawing Room. We were seated in this very intimate and large booth with curtains which was great for the small celebration we were having. The food was great l, especially the oyster presentation and brussel sprouts! Their appetizer size was great for our party of 5. The bar was a little behind making drinks slow, but I’m hoping that was a one-off thing that happened. The ambiance is straight out of a Great Gatsby book/movie. I cannot wait to go back and see a show. This place is a must!
My friend had her birthday party in the Whiskey Room at Untitled Supper Club. The food was out of this world. Every bite was simply delicious. The drinks were yummy too, with every liquor you could imagine available. The staff was so nice and helpful- from the bartenders, to the bus staff, and even the doorman. Super trendy and cool spot in River North. The perfect place for dinner and dancing-or your birthday party!
I had an expression about Chicago that no bartender knows how to make a good cocktail, but Untitled Super Club proves me wrong. The cocktail in Untitled Super Club is top-notch but inexpensive (compared to where I base -- San Francisco)& I fall in love with the band gerald mcclendon aka soul keeper. We ordered 4 cocktails and one dozen oysters & I have to tell you the oysters is so sweet & fresh, we are not sure if its Geralds performance makes us so happy or something else, everything is magical & wonderful. We were sitting at the bar. People comes and goes but everyone sit next to us is all super nice.I ❤️❤️❤️Untitled Super Club, its 80s, Speakeasy, underground, only people who has great taste knows about it.Lets keep it that way & this is the way😉.
Untitled is always great! Come for food and drinks and check out their live entertainment and shows. Their website is always updated with their weekly performances, menu items and dress code. I do recommend to make table reservations. On the weekends you can definitely dance here as well to dj music. Food is excellent and cocktails are crafty. The fried calamari is the best!
Probably the coolest looking bar I’ve ever seen coupled with the most average to below average food, drink, and service. Planned on getting dinner but after tasting the fried calamari (which came with fried rosemary and fried lemon peel) I decided to cut my losses. Very disappointing, hard to believe anyone would want to eat here if not attending a show.
This exclusive club exudes glamour and sophistication with its exquisite decor and upscale atmosphere.Every detail of the club, from the lavish sitting area to the elegant bar, is designed to impress. Its clear that no expense has been spared in creating this luxurious establishment. While the drinks are undeniably pricey, they are also expertly crafted and truly exceptional. The crowd is lively and well-heeled, making for a truly enjoyable evening.Overall, the experience is one to be savored and remembered. I would love to revisit this club in the future and indulge in its opulence once again. Not only were the main areas of the club stunning, but even the bathrooms were a sight to behold. The attention to detail in the design of the restrooms was impressive, with beautiful fixtures and elegant finishes. Its rare to find such opulent bathrooms in a club, but it added to the overall luxurious experience
Great atmosphere. The back bar staff was very nice and attentive. They had a show on a Thursday night so that was an added bonus.
The Untitled Supper Club is everything you want an underground speakeasy to be come to life. From the easy to miss entrance to the fabulous decor this place is a world of its own. We had a reservation for drinks and good in the whisky library... and what a library it was! We spent a large amount of time choosing from the extensive whisky list. The waitress was really helpful. Discussing the best choices to accompany the food. I had a raspberry busy cocktail and it was the perfect balance of tart and sweet. During the night there was a contortionist swinging from the ceiling! It was amazing. There was also live music and a singer who had a great voice. Honestly this is one of the best places I have ever been too. The food was excellent too.
My friend was visiting from out of town and I was lucky enough to come across Untitled while making reservations for the weekend.A big part of why this experience was so special was the care that Alma put into her service. From the moment we sat down until the moment we left, her charisma (and attire!) completed the transformative atmosphere of the speakeasy and made us feel at home. She offered whiskey/bourbon recommendations from their massive collection specific to our tastes and price range as well as dinner options that we loved. Beyond the attentive service, Dave Weld and the Imperial Flames were amazing and we definitely stayed a bit longer after dessert to watch the end of their set.By Sunday I was bragging about being a stellar host of the city, but Untitled did most of the heavy lifting as it was easily her favorite part of the weekend.
I had a birthday dinner here and it was 5 stars all around. The prohibition vibe is the coolest and the bars / venue are absolutely gorgeous! We loved the live music... I was worried it would be too much or too loud while eating but it was great dinner music and at a decent volume level. All of the food and drinks we had were amazing and the server was awesome too! She was very helpful and informative and really on top of her game :) so happy this venue is able to be open again we will definitely Be back!
Really cool spot. They have love music most nights and the food was great. Tuesday is a prefixe menu and it was awesome. Great food, good portions, really good value. Happy hour food was also good. Would definitely recommend if youre in the area.
Soon as you get to the front there is a giant chandelier and mirror that will help you find this place on a busy Friday night. Theres giant stairs (or elevator) to get down to the restaurant. The calamari was disappointing and quite small. We had a large group of people but service was moving as fast as they could but there should have been two waiters/waitresses on our table. The burger and fries was great! Someone else got the duck, pasta, potatoes. I personally didnt like the cornbread; the flavor was off. The drink menu is pretty pricey, so I only got the Godfather. Solid 8.5/10 but I wish it more for the price. The club/dancefloor is on the other side and the music doesnt overlap so we enjoyed the mood while dinning and got to dance for about an hour before closing.
Phenomenal and such a blast! We came for the live entertainment and cabaret - loved every minute of both. Did not expect the food to also be SO GOOD. Our flight was delayed, and we called to see if there was any chance of pushing our reservation later. The staff was so kind and accommodating even on a Friday night (though this accommodation may not be possible all the time depending on the crowd). We were so thankful it was possible tonight so we didnt have to miss out on such a lovely evening. Our server was also wonderful. You will not regret giving this place a try. Will absolutely be coming back next time we are in town!
Such a cool place! I tried the Big Mistake cocktail (very good) and the Southside Italian (also good). The best thing was the lasagna. It was incredible. It had this white sauce and was rolled rather than stacked. Although a very close second was the calamari. It has this crispy rosemary that is to die for. The live music was excellent as well. They have the largest whiskey collection in North America and it shows. The service was good. We would highly recommend this place!!
It’s fancy place. There are a couple room for dining with different style and music. We booked in the quiet room (means no music band in the room) it’s crowded on the weekend. There is a full bar (i mean real full full bar) Our food is great. smoke tartare is fancy presentation. bathroom room is fancy as well. recommended to try.
Food was generally poor. The atmosphere was attractive. We ordered wine by the glass that was overpriced. Appetizer was the fondue that was large enough for the table but tasteless. The steak was fatty and grisly. The jazz and burlesque shows were entertaining. Go for cocktails and the show. Skip ghe food.
I tonight visited Untitled Supper Club in Chicago, and my experience was extremely disappointing. The service was atrocious, especially from a server with red hair. Despite sitting in her section, she completely ignored us, and we had to go to the bar to place our orders. It was especially frustrating to see her actively helping other patrons right next to us while we were blatantly overlooked. The lack of attention felt deliberate, and given that we are Black, it’s hard not to attribute this to racial bias. Such discriminatory behavior is unacceptable, and I expected much better from a venue of this reputation. I hope management takes steps to address these issues and ensures all customers are treated with the respect they deserve. Until then, I wont be returning and cannot recommend this place to anyone looking for fair and decent service.
This place is super rad and unique - immediately waking down the stairs its like youre transported back to a different time - with strong drinks, good music and great food. The burger was delicious and served with a literal mountain of fries. We are lucky enough to catch a great blues band while we were there - definitely recommend going for the more traditional music show and not the EDM style that they have later in the evening.
Very nice Speakeasy with multiple rooms and spots to take pictures. The cod dinner was pretty good, the mushrooms were good but definitely had a strong kick back taste from the sauce put on it. My drink was a little watered down as well, but I loved the show and band seating area. This place will definitely give you an experience.
Love the different spaces or shall we say “bars within the bar”. From live band areas, to more vocal cozy area to the dj area, it was cool.Drinks were pricey so be prepared for about $15-$20 per beverage. It was a bit challenging to get orders in due to how crowded it was as well.Totally dug the atmosphere though and the main bar looked stunning.
One of my favorite bars I’ve ever been to. In the time I was there, I saw 3 different layout of the main room. When I arrived there was a projection screen down in the center of the room playing old movies. About 30 minutes later the projection screen rose and a live band was revealed. In between the bands sets there was a burlesque dancer who came to the stage as well. After the band was finished they cleared the floor which became a dance floor and a dj started playing. The drinks are amazing and the food is amazing. The atmosphere alone is worth the price of food and drinks. Will definitely be back here whenever I can.
I came a tuesday night and I guess it was my bad.We were in a group in town for a conference and I saw amazing reviews for this speakeasy style lounge restaurant. I chose tuesday night thinking there would be a show or live music, there was not.We chose the set menu and food was good but not the best for the price. Service was lacking they started mopping and closing before we were even finished with our food (before midnight).Maybe come on a friday or saturday next time. The rooms themselves were spectacular!
Came here this past Thursday for their DC vs Marvel burlesque show. The performers were amazing! I consider myself a light weight and child like palette when it comes to drinks. I had the bartender “Santana” he is amazing. Made bunch of recommendations and gave the history of said drinks. Honestly love the experience and did not feel awkward or uncomfortable.Highly recommend “Rosemary Fries” and whatever drinks Santana is making. Will totally return for more shows and bring my coworkers with. The performers at the show were super friendly and cool enough to take pictures with.If you ever get the chance go to any shows that have Kaya Sky performing!
We went two nights in a row and had two completely different experiences. The first night, we had a rez in the whiskey library. All was well. Service was good, space is as beautiful as always. I never love the food (its just a little extra for my personal taste...), but the vibes are typically great! We went back last night and it was just...not it. Made another reservation via open table to sit in the area where entertainment was happening. Was told we needed to check our purses because they were small backpacks...ooook, fine. The $6 charge was a little annoying for a service we were forced to use but whatever. we were then told that our table wasnt ready yet, but theyd send a text or just come find us when it was. Cool. We sat in the whiskey library and ordered drinks while we waited. GREAT service in there once again, but never got a text. The hostess came in several times to seat people but never mentioned our table. That this point, its 10:35 (over an hour after our reservation time) and we decided to just grab our check and leave.I got home and became more bothered when I got an email from Open Table saying that the reservation had been cancelled. HOW when we were there, checked in, still spent $150, and never even got seated where we were supposed to be?I think Ill stick to the whiskey library experience on subsequent visits without the food and without the weirdness of whomever is working the hostess stand.
We threw a big college reunion party last night and seriously had the BEST time!! Service was amazing…. Lauren, Numi, Alex in management and our server Mal. Just super accommodating genuine people. Live blues was fun and then the DJ had us dancing all night long! Thank you for making our night so memorable 😊
Went here for the first time this weekend for the birthday and it was amazing!! The live music and burlesque show was entertaining. The crowd was really feeling it. The service was great and the food (I got the cornbread and triople pasta) was AMAZING!! I need to come here again.
This place did not disappoint! I was very impressed with the ambiance, the speakeasy vibes, and the live band (Mario Abney & The Abney Effect) was amazing! Also enjoyed the variété between sets. We sat backstage, which really elevated the entertainment aspect for us. My SO and I grazed through sides and a spread of entrees. The drinks? I recommend the RASPBERRY BLUSH- my fave! When you visit, try the CANON IN D as well. Overall, I loved the vibe and as an Interior Designer- loved the decor in the ladies room- understated elegance!
Went here for the first time on a Tuesday. Most of the staff was busy working a large party that booked out the main dining area, but we still had decent service at the side bar and tables. It was weirdly difficult to get info on happy hour, but from 5pm - 7pm a Manhattan, Martini, or old fashioned is $10. Food was absolutely delicious, remember to save room for dessert!
Wow! My new favorite place on earth!!! Had a wonderful time here - from our pre dinner drinks in the whiskey bar to our fabulous dinner and the live entertainment.Through unsuspecting double doors we entered and went downstairs into the most beautiful space with stunning sights in all directions. We were warmly greeted by Etienne and Adam who directed us to the whiskey bar as we wanted to go and experience it before dinner. Brennan, Erica and Jalen made our experience fun and gave us a wonderful absinthe demonstration! We were then seated for dinner where Nashon Holloway and her band entertained us. Walter our server was great. The perfect measure of attention and allowing us to relax and enjoy our meal. He made excellent recommendations.Fabulous seafood tower that was so fresh and delicious. We shared the salmon and side of fries and indulged in the chocolate pot dessert. After dinner we had the pleasure of meeting the executive chef Chris Lorenz which topped off the whole experience.Places like this are true gems. You feel you’ve stumbled upon a whole secret world! Highly recommend this place.
We were there last Friday and had the best time ever, the staff made everything possible for us to celebrate our honeymoon. It was a memorable night, Livia has the most beautiful voice, she sang some Brazilian jazz and myself being Brazilian can say that I felt like I was back home, the whole band play a very good jazz. They serve great cocktails, not even to mention the food which was delicious and the vibe is just amazing, I highly recommend this place.
The best possible place we couldve gone to celebrate my partners birthday! Service, drinks, and food were all exceptional. Brooke & the Nice Things performed and were incredible. Will absolutely be back for future date nights!
We had a blast. We chair danced, we danced our way to the bathroom, we danced during dinner and we made a dance floor in our small area. Man this was definitely one for the books. Our service was super attentive and personal. The birthday girl really felt special. I had the rabbit. Although it was dry it was good. Our bottle of wine was delish! The chocolate mousse was the cherry on top. Did I mention that we danced the night away? Lol The band really put on a top notched performance. Never a dull moment for all.
What an amazing experience!Had a birthday dinner here with a bunch of friends on a thursday night. On thursday they have a show(burlesque, unbridled) that was super fun.Huge selection of drinks, delicious appetizers, and quick service.Overall experience was super super fun!Pricey, reservatiom required, parking available nearby.Definitely recommend.⭐️🌟⭐️🌟🌟⭐️🌟
Untitled is the best even through out the years. The place is beautiful. Even the bathrooms are glamorous. Prohibition style inspiration adds an extra charm. The drinks are awesome, good selection of beers, good food. Great entertainment, live and DJ music, variety show, including flapper dancers, and even a glamorous stripteaser, very enticing but super classy though. Great night out with friends, or your Beau.
Like the look of this drink? Untitled thinks this is a $35 pour of specialty bourbon in an old fashioned.I used to love this spot, came here last night and ordered two old fashioneds with my buddy, the bartender asked us if we wanted a specialty bourbon, so we said yes.Drinks were poured and it was an ok drink, but very small pour and then the bill came and two drinks were $78. Are you kidding? Old fashioned are listed as $16 a piece on the menu, youre gonna up sell us without telling us?I asked how much the drinks were and the bartender confirmed it was $35 a piece, which makes this the smallest and most expensive drink Ive ever had. She was able to discount the drinks by $10 because she said it was her mistake...Needless to say Ill never come back here.
The atmosphere and vibe here is great, live band that was great, drinks are amazing, staff was great this place was beautiful everything but the food which is why I gave 3 stars me and my husband ordered an appetizer of fries and the pulled pork belly fries was ok the pulled pork was ok but it had a pork after taste. For our meal will both had steaks which they mixed up and gave me my husband Medium well steak and him my Medium steak. These steaks were awful the taste of heavy herbs I cant even describe the taste and the mash potatoes tasted like instant potatos and they dont do loaded potatoes either. I would not go back for the food but I will go back for the bar and live show. Theres even Parking next door that u do have to pay for of course
My sister-in-law held her a gathering of friends here for a bachelorette party dinner. The reservation was made for the wrong date. It was reported that the manager ensured that another table was arranged for the day of. There was no mention of needing to pay the deposit still. They spent around what the minimum was that was being held. I still got charged for the deposit. There were slow responses and miscommunication between several persons that work here. Alex (manager) offered to refund everything but $500. I was told they had to turn away business. The Saturday that they went it wasnt full and who knows about yesterday but having over a week to fill a table shouldnt be hard if its that popular. Cant trust word of mouth anymore it seems. Shame on them for trying to not only get the $900 spent there BUT the other deposit for $750.Edit: I see the response from Alex and need to respond. Alex reported they had to turn away business but everyone in that party said it was empty when they came. You had a week so if you are that popular you should have been able to fill that table. I could see if they didn’t come in at all… They did though and it was reported that after talking with Alex that he was okay with it. Alex even arranged for them to be at a table. It’s a cop out to hide behind a “contract.” Bold face lie when you said that you offered the rest of that charge for a future visit. You said you would refund everything but $500. No I wouldn’t want $500 to dine at your establishment.
I wasn’t impressed with the food. It was just slightly off, you can tell there was creative intent, missed the mark in terms of quality. The whiskey collection is unfortunately a disappointment. Most of the bottles were cheap whiskeys that fill the shelves and collect dust. There were a few allocated bottles, but not worth the time if you are serious about whiskey.
I just discovered this Chicago treasure. The entertainment was good, the food was good and the service was outstanding. Our waiter, Walter was classy, kind and perfect. I’ve never seen a waiter working so hard to deliver a special experience.
SO FANTASTIC!!! Honestly worth every cent! What they have on their menu they do well! (It seems limited but its all excellent) The wait staff Honestly goes above and beyond!!! I hurt myself same day of our reservation while I was in the city and I was on crutches but really wanted to go to dinner anyway to make the best out of a bad situation. We were greeted by an amazing doorman who went above and beyond to get us into the elevator instead of makeing me use the stairs! I wish I remembered his name he was the BEST. I was trying to make the best out of my 30th bday and they definitely assisted! They are Ala Carte but they have generous portions! I had an amazing pasta dish and so did my boyfriend everything was epic! My one gripe which I can over look is the crab cake is $17 for 1 and its not very big and it was for shareing. HOWEVER. I WAS BLOWN AWAY by everything else!!! Our table was wobbly and they swapped out our table with out makeing me move because I was in such pain and they didnt even bat a lash about it! 12/10 110% recommended! They have amazing food and atmosphere and honestly I hope there staff is always so conpationate! THANK YOU UNTITLED you made what really was a tough day feel special! We will make a point to come back when in the city!!!
Ambience was peppy and romantic. Loved the live performance. It will seem a bit distracting with too many things going on, but, the artist had such an incredible voice and the drummer matched the spirit of the evening perfectly!Food was delicious! Enjoyed Ceaser salad and lamb chops and chocolate pot de crème which was simply divine when you are listening to Jazz.Service was okay - they forgot our drinks and did not replace silverware. But overall, I’d go here again to enjoy the the ambience and food.
We attended the Unbridled Thursday night show and it was incredible. We reserved an unobstructed parlor table for dinner and the food was a la carte style. Large plates are main meal and small plates are like sides or appetizers. The extensive whiskey selection was intriguing and we tried a favorite flight and a cocktail of the month; both wonderful. The show was incredible. The burlesque style show was so cool to watch and the performers talents were amazing. We definitely will be coming back.
I had such high hopes for this place. Had the wagyu tartare and the ribeye with rosemary fries. Both were tasty, but the ribeye was cooked to medium despite my ordering it medium rare.Hubby had the snow crab and rabbit. Snow crab was teeny tiny portion and came with a weird relish that completely overpowered it. The rabbit sauce was waayy too thin. For how much I spent I would have expected a much better experience.
We were so excited to visit this place and wanted to love it, but sadly were disappointed at every turn. Our reservation was made through OpenTable for the Unbridled live show. When we arrived I was told I had to coat check my purse (a small hand bag). I politely obliged and was then annoyed to see many others seated with their large purses. Clearly, the dress code is not enforced, as there were men in T-shirts and shorts. Next, although there were several open tables in front of the stage, we were seated behind the stage. However, our reservation was not for the back stage. For dinner, we ordered a bottle of the 2019 Tuscan Chianti Classico, but received a 2021 vintage. The burrata appetizer was very oily and salty. The 18 oz ribeye that we ordered medium rare come out very rare and raw. The potatoes we ordered for a side lacked flavor. The service was so slow, had we sent the steak back it would’ve been another 20 mins to get our food. The portion of the ribeye was perfect for the two of us to share. For the entertainment, it was okay. I absolutely appreciated they had performers of all body shapes and sizes. However, I expected more professional and polished performances. Having attended similar performances in Vegas and LA, my expectations were perhaps a bit too high. The performers did very well for being amateurs.Overall, due to my reservation not being honored, the poor service and poor food, I don’t plan to return to this establishment or recommend it to others.
Awesome time with my fiance for our second anniversary. Food was excellent and the wait staff even signed a card for us for our anniversary. Our waitress, Samantha, was amazing. Very attentive, we always had full drinks and she graciously took our picture. The bouncer was really cool and friendly to joke with. He also took our picture for us. Very lively atmosphere, coat check and comfortable seating. I recommend getting a private booth for romantic occasions. Also, over 600 types of whiskey. If you are feeling adventurous, try new types of food here. Cheese platter was interesting and the cheesecake is not what you would expect, although quite good.
This place is a lot of fun. There are different areas with things going on and we loved it. Great live music and th cocktails are delicious!
We were here for a company holiday party. This is such a cool place. The prohibition theme is unique and really well done. The food was good and the wait staff, bartenders, management and door men were all top notch. I cant wait to come back and sit in the main dining room and be able to listen to the live music.
Damn, where to begin.... First time here was an amazing experience. Its definitely a hidden gem, almost walked right past it. Your greeted by 2 big wooden doors, once inside you walk down a staircase into this relaxing atmosphere with very dimmed lighting. Every table had a single small candle as a light source. Whiskey menu was massive. For starters, the pretzel, had a horseradish sauce, cheese cup,and I would assume a cheddar style butter(not sure) everything was great. Dinner, a melt in your mouth lamb t bone. I mean WOW, thats lamb. As for the live music part, Breezy Rodio, a combination of soul, jazz, and swing. Outstanding performance, if I lived in the city, I would be a regular. Price..... expensive but I did not care.
Untitled is the type of place that has the perfect wow factor for almost any occasion.During my first visit here, a group of us came around 10pm for drinks and apps. We were seated in the room where there was a live singing performance going on. The musicians were talented, but this isnt a room you would want to sit in if you want to be able to easily hear your dinner companion (due to how loud it was). Luckily, Untitled is large and is sectioned off into different rooms and each have their own feel. The second time I came to Untitled, my group was seated in the Whiskey Library, and I liked the cozy atmosphere. Before you come here, please be aware of the dress code that includes no t-shirts, shorts, sandals, or athletic shoes.Untitled has pages of whiskeys and bourbons available on their menu, so whiskey and bourbon lovers will feel right at home here. There are also several cocktails and wines to pick from as well. The potato galette and short baos were both really good. The short rib baos could have really benefited from some sort of light Asian inspired dipping sauce due to the dryness. The pork chop was super tender and full of flavor. The pumpkin creme brulee was amazing, and I appreciate the fact that they offer a pumpkin dessert all year long.During both visits, the service was pretty average. During my second visit, the kitchen forgot about one of the side dishes I had ordered. Since this place mainly offers shared plates, everyones dishes comes out at different times, so I didnt ask the waitress about the missing dish until half way through the meal. The waitress offered to put the order in a second time, but by then all of my friends were done eating. I just decided to order a dessert at that point. Simple mistake, but I know that next time I may need to be more proactive if it seems to be taking too long for a dish to come out.
I heard great things about this place and finally got a chance to check it out. I went here for a friends birthday and the service was amazing. Our server Alma was great! She greeted us quickly, and when she found out we were celebrating a birthday, she brought out a dessert for my friend. Alma was super attentive throughout our time there and accommodating when we decided to move closer to the stage. Not to mention the amazing singer who gave my friend a shoutout and sang happy birthday to him! The staff made our night. We had a great time and will definitely be back!
Hands down the best speakeasy Ive ever been to. Makes sense considering its in the heart of the Prohibition. Originally from San Diego and our DT scene down there has had quite a few phenomenal speakeasies pop up but nothing compares to the Untitled Supper Club. We had reservations for 10pm on a Friday and it made a world of difference. Bouncer was super cool, you walk in and get all the swanky vibes of a Prohibition Era Speakeasy that you swore Al Capone was operating himself but never wanted to admit it. Incredible live music for the seasoned Chicago bluesman Dave Specter followed by an excellent burlesque show. It had the authenticity of the Roaring 20s and I felt horrible I wasnt dressed for the occasion because thats my style.Definitely plan on returning everytime I visit Chicago for the rest of my life. The service was phenomenal and very attentive. Im a huge whiskey fanatic and to see their world renowned selection of over 700 Whiskies made me feel like a kid in a candy store. You can get them by themselves, in a flight(what I did) or in a beautifully crafted cocktail mixed by their seasoned mixologists. One of the girls who helped serve us alongside our main waitress even let me take a whiskey flight tasting glass home as well. 10/10 would HIGHLY recommend. One of the best experiences of my entire life.
I have a habit of mesmerizing on beautiful things. Like my wife shooting baskets, Untitled, the band breezy rodeo, and peaceful efficient experience from our waitress Mal. Follow in my tracks tonight.
The preeminent Chicago experience for dinner, entertainment, and (later in the evening) hot DJs and a killer dance floor.A whiskey library with over 500+ different whiskeys. A weekly Thursday cabaret show. A Michelin Bib Gourmand rated menu. And best of all, a cool, slick speakeasy vibe.Ive been all over Chicago and I always come back to Untitled.
Ive been here before but this time was not great. Our server was nice but our dinner order got screwed up 4 different times that made the night frustrating so Im not sure if the kitchen was having issues or what was happening. We had to request to speak with the manager after our bill then arrived incorrect. So on top of the service issues they were charging us for things we didnt even order. Manager corrected the bill and gave a discount but we really hoped the evening would have gone smoother for the price and expectations of what should be 5 star service.
Great place to have a drink and eat good food. Service is great and the music is good not too loud.
Absolutely amazing dinner and show. Food and drinks were 10/10. My only feedback is that I wish the performance fee was up front and apparent before reaching the minimum amount spent per person. Overall great experience!
My experience here was stellar! From the doorman, security, hosts, staff, band and servers.Great food, drinks music, & showThe Aestetics was beautiful and I loved the vibe. Ill definitely be back.
Ali was amazing every bottle of whiskey he pulled off for us to try was phenomenal some highlights were the untitled private barrels and the vantage bourbon
Loved the live music and fun aesthetic but they completely ignored my food allergies after I informed them and I was served a drink with egg white foam and had a reaction at the restaurant. Once I felt well enough to leave the restaurant and go home I asked them to box up the meal I ordered to enjoy it later. Once I got home I realized that they boxed the wrong meal up (a fish dish that I am also unable to eat) so not only did I have an allergic reaction at this restaurant and spent 90% of my time there in the bathroom but now I can’t even eat the food I ordered for later. happy birthday to me, I will never be going back
Nope ..not.. thats it. I did not like Untitled food selection. I had the Salmon 36.00 for a piece of BLAND fish it came with some broccoli stalks like you would prepare Asparagus , No season at all.. put that garnishment on top to make you think its about to be good... Some onion balls.Like literally no nothing no flavor at all.... I tried the spicy meatball dish 15.00 for 4 or 5 meatballs. It taste like they boiled them meat balls or put it in a slow cook crockpot and added some marinara sauce with a spicy kick to the sauce and melted a piece of cheese on it. The Fondue. 22.00 or 24.00... yuck... It taste like some heated up hummus but with a weird after taste In your mouth.. served with brocichette bread and some type of ... I dont know what .. mushrooms, slices of green apples...and some other something to make it look appealing... Smh. And lets not forget the 24.00 crab cake. 1 not 2. That wasnt good either.. I gave mines back and my friend didnt even finish theres ...The French fries were the best part..😂 Sorry . But for this type of pricing aint no way
Honestly the place is gorgeous. The decor the drinks all of it. The burlesque I’ve been to others and honestly this one isn’t as tasteful as the others. For my taste it isn’t my favorite but if you’re into the more explicit type of burlesque instead of the ones that are manly about performance and art then this is for you.
Went in to expect the 11pm dance floor to be available and it wasn’t. Staff told us another room was available, it was just the bar…very disappointing as I have been in the past and expected to dance. If that’s the case that it’s not available, just put a message on your website.
I remember coming to Untitled years ago. Not much has changed. The atmosphere is solid and the live music is excellent. They showcase some brilliant local talent. The food is alright (you dont come her for mind bending food, you come for the old school dinner and a show experience) and the service is absolutely lovely. 😊😍
Had a great time experimenting with cocktails and chatting with friends. We asked our bartender Crys to recreate a drink that we liked without knowing any ratios, and we were beyond impressed with the results! Extremely knowledgeable on mixology and the best conversation. If it isnt too busy, I would highly recommend having the bartenders whip up a new concoction!Pictured: A smooth combo of soju, amaro, and citrus
Untitled Supper Club offers a fun and unique vibe in the heart of downtown Chicago. It’s a classic jazz club with great music and live performances. It’s elegant and sophisticated. It’s a great place to come for dinner and a show. The last time I went I was very disappointed with my food. I brought a group of friends to celebrate a birthday and we hardly touched anything. The food was cold, dry, and unappetizing. Which was very unfortunate given the price of the food. I’d come back but only to drink and enjoy the music and other live performances.
Would describe as a modern speakeasy. Walked by this place many of times and didnt know it existed! Great place for date night and will most definitely be back. Prices reasonable. Drinks upscale in a relaxing and upscale setting. Decent drink and food menu. Free entertainment on certain nights; be sure to check events calendar. Great atmosphere, staff professional and variety genres of music. Wife and I went on a Thursday night and enjoyed a cabaret style show. We tried a variety of drinks with no complaints and enjoyed appetizer and entree which were tasty. Highly recommended!
Untitled was a fantastic experience, there was excellent live entertainment, the food was amazing, and the mocktail was delicious. Will absolutely be coming back for all my Chicago trips.
Visited this place on a crowded Saturday evening. My love and I went there for the live band (the beautiful and talented Ivy Ford). We sat in the main dining room. Dark and sexy atmosphere. For dinner, I had the amish chicken with foie gras mashed potatoes. Ive never heard of foie gras mashed potatoes so I inquired about it (Im a picky eater). The server (a young lady black lady with a short natural hairstyle) advised that its just a little seasoning on top so its nothing. The presentation of the dish itself was fantastic - but obviously she was as clueless as me. Liver of a goose or duck. Chunks of this was on my mashed potatoes. If I would have known, I would have had it taken off. My love had the roasted salmon. Both of our meals were served more on the cold side. Asked for more chicken jus and that took 10 minutes (when you are hungry, 10 minutes feels like 20 minutes). Couldnt complain if we wanted to because our server didnt come around enough (very nice young lady - but wasnt sure why the long pauses in between requests). (Scrapped the liver off and we ate our food before it got even colder). Had better luck in the Library Room. The wait staff there were attentive and served us drinks quickly. Reservations are a must. Nice experience for the band and drinks but the service and food (for their prices) on this particular night were disappointing.
Awesome speakeasy with a tremendously classy vibe. With a selection of over 100 whiskeys, a mouth watering food selection, and getting down to some live jazzy tunes, this is an amazing place to call home for the night.Staff are extremely professional, food is fairly pricey(worth it, I had the rabbit), and has an incredible atmosphere for all occasions. Check it out if you have never been!
We had the pleasure of hosting a corporate event for over 50 people at the Untitled Supper Club, and I cant express how impressed I was with their service and hospitality. From the moment we walked in, the staff at Untitled Supper Club went above and beyond to ensure that our event went smoothly. They were incredibly attentive, friendly, and professional. They made sure everyone had a great time, and their dedication to providing top-notch service was evident throughout the evening. The venue itself has a unique and charming atmosphere that sets the perfect tone for any event. The food and drinks were exceptional, with a diverse menu that catered to a variety of tastes. The quality and presentation of the dishes were outstanding, and the bar staff mixed up some delicious cocktails that were enjoyed by all.Overall, I cant say enough positive things about the Untitled Supper Club and its staff. They made our corporate event a memorable and enjoyable experience for everyone. Thank you for making our event a success!
If you come to Chicago, you have to come here. Excellent food, drinks and super staff. Live music is awesome. Highly recommended.
WOW. Just went they for drinks right after work because a friends recommended it. The library room really has a great vibe. I had the old fashion which was killer! I cant speak to the food as we did not eat. Looking forward to going later in the evening. If you want whiskey, youll be lost in the choices.
It was my birthday dinner! Everything about this place was great-especially the company!
Food was pretty good and the whiskey selection was excellent. Loved the decor and general vibe of the place. Service was poor. We hardly saw the waitress, drinks were missed, constantly coming to clear plates when we were still eating. We eventually had to go find her to close out and go to the bar area to get more drinks. Im guessing this was a fluke. I hope.
My husband and I ate here last night and it was absolutely amazing! We had the restaurant week 4 course meal with samples from their menu. Everything we ate was divine. The entertainment was on point and Walter, our server, was beyond compare. He gave us top flight service and we will definitely be coming back next time we are in town.
One of the most fun places for a night out in Chicago. Excellent food, a huge whiskey selection, 5 different bars and live music with a tease of burlesque between sets. Our group luckily found a table that someone never showed up for...make a reservation if you know you will end up there. Fun for all ages and a very diverse crowd. Prices are great considering the venue.
I recently took my wife to dinner at Untitled Supper Club to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. I wasn’t sure what to expect because the exterior of the restaurant was so unassuming, but when we entered we were blown away by the beautiful ambiance. By far the best part of our night was our server, Andres. He was so knowledgeable about your whiskey selection and helped guide my wife through the food menu (she’s very particular about food). He made our night so special! We will definitely be back to visit Untitled and will ask for Andres!
The bartenders at the front bar were excellent. Truly knowledgeable with qnd amazing selection. I was a little disappointed in where we were sat because Id specified in the booking that we were there for the show. Granted, my date was late so perhaps thats why we were seat in the upper bar area which is essentially behind the show.Food was decent. The skirt steak tasted delicious. The pasta dish was kinda bland. Over qll we had a good time.
Great jazz club. Fun lively atmosphere. Highly recommend for a date night
My sister got food poisoning from the undercooked lobster. This ruined her baby’s first Christmas because she could not spend time with him due to being so sick with food poisoning. The owner/manager has yet to respond back to us about the food poisoning as a result of their unsafe food handling/preparation. The decor and the server was nice. Also we didn’t expect the burlesque strip tease show since it was a trumpet player on the schedule for that night… so just a heads up - not what we were looking for. Also from the initial reservation to the reminder about dress we were surprised to see some people were wearing gym shoes. We thought it would be more classy overall. We were really looking forward to this after attending the nutcracker ballet and we’re really disappointed. For the prices we were charged for the food, it was severely sub par. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone I know. Needless to say we won’t be back.
If you want the true Chicago experience, this is it. If you love an Old Fashioned, this is it. If you love a fantastic whiskey bar that has a lot of everything you can imagine, this is it. I thought we would not like the food from the menu, but that was the farthest from the truth. We started with what our waiter recommended. We defined our pallet, and ordered our drinks and left it to the waiter to determine what we should eat.We started with the Crispy Miatake mushroom and was enthralled with the flavor and texture. It went very well with 15 year Redbreast. Next, we enjoyed entrees of the salmon and Trofie (which had a black garlic cauliflower puree that was FANTASTIC) and enjoyed Stagg Jr. We moved onto dessert which was Chocolate Pot De Creme and and jigger of E.H. Taylor. FANTASTIC. I wish I had more time and $$$ to taste more of the premium whiskey and bourbon that I can never find where I live. Ill save that for round two for the future. We were in the Whiskey room that had a great chic scene, dark and mysterious, iconic 20s/30s movie streaming in the back ground. It was quiet enough I could talk with my spouse yet loud enough to feel the atmosphere. The other room had live music, with a great Chicago vibe you can only find underground.Check it out and enjoy the enveloping underground domain of downtown Chicago.
Carlos was a fantastic server. Food was perfection. Drinks were tasty and the atmosphere is energized. Bathrooms are gorgeous. You need to go here .
It took 40 minutes to receive water and a cocktail. We waited 40 minutes between appetizer and entree. The servers felt bad and didn’t have an excuse for slow service, so they just avoided us. We were there for over 2.5 hours and eventually asked for our food to go.
A wonderful prohibition style speakeasy influenced by an earlier time featuring live music and exceptional service. Food was amazing and they offer shared menu items as well as lots of amazing small plates and sides. Great drink menu featuring lots of classics made originally and a tremendous amount of different whiskey.
Performances were incredible. We went on a Thursday night and loved all the acts. Service was sadly not great. Took about 20 min for us to get a menu (I had to ask). Then no one came to ask what we wanted or to give us water. I asked for water and got some and we decided not to get food (no vegan options) and left. Would love to come back and have a good experience all through.
Amazing food, exceptional service, great entertainment, and atmosphere. Its a high-end restaurant, so expect a high bill but worth it!
If I could give 0 stars I would. We waited for three hours as they lost coats and lost control of the situation. People were almost trampled. Instead of trying to make a situation better, they were incompetent and kicked people out of the quieter areas. This could’ve been an even worse disaster and we are all truly lucky that no one got horribly hurt.
Super fun club with different styles of music in each room. Food was delicious albeit pricey. Beautiful layout. Only downside was that it was my sisters bachelorette and they enforced the dress code so she had to leave her veil at door (they noticed the sash at dinner and made her remove it). It was nothing obnoxious or crude, just a sash saying bachelorette so it seemed a little silly to make her remove it, but they werent rude at all about it. Would definitely go again.
I was here for a business conference, but I look forward to sampling their massive and amazing whiskey collection in the evening!Very cool decor and atmosphere too.I was especially impressed with service, I had a disabled friend with me who couldnt use the stairs and they were very accommodating.Didnt even have to ask for help!We didnt get a full meal at the conference. The snacks were simple but quality.
Delicious food, drinks, and awesome entertainment to enjoy whike your are there! Been there several times and seen bands, burlesque shows, and acrobatic performers. I always take out of town people here because its a great representation of pricey but delicious cocktails and that old chicago charm.Updated in 2024- still a great place to be! During my last visit, Walter was my waiter and he was great. 10/10.
Would happily go again. Loved the live music, the food, and the atmosphere. It was a great experience - from entering through the untitled door to being seated next to a gorgeously lite bar to the food/drinks/music to the finale (aka dessert). Highly recommend.
Really great shows, the food is good quality with big portion sizes too. Highly recommend the wedge salad. I expected more whiskey options, but was happy with what we drank.
Very low-key and quaint! Soft lighting, huge TV in dining area, comfortable seating. It can get crowded at times but they do have another area to sit and/or dance separate from the dining area. They have bands and djs as well. Valet parking
We booked a room without the music but then where told at the venue they don’t have opened any other room than the music room for the public yet. Then it was possible surprisingly. The service (woman with colored red hair) was the worst we had in a while. At the end we wanted to split the bill and said how much exactly we wanted to pay and she was pretty sarcastic that she is not doing it normally but she has not anything better today today. I was smiling and was confused and she asked me she’s doesn’t know why I’m looking that way to her. That was pretty rude. No excuse nothing. I was actually shocked and destroyed kind of our evening. Never again. Even if the food was good.
One of my favorite places to go drink whiskey (knowledgeable bar staff across the board, with one of the largest collections of American whiskey), and the shows on thursday are always entertaining! Between the burlesque, consistently great live music programming, and the whiskey, highly recommended. I dont go much on the weekends, but thats more due to the weekend crowds than anything.
Untitled has been my favorite bar in Chicago for almost a decade and now. The place has beautiful venue, but more importantly present amazing shows to the guests. I normally look up its website to see when they have circus or burlesque shows. Definitely bring your guests from out of town to show them best of Chicago.
My significant other and I attended the Untitled Supper Club back in June 2022. It was my fiancé’s first time in Chicago and while we enjoyed many aspects of the city, this was our favorite so far.We love speakeasy’s and this did not disappoint. In fact, it exceeded our expectations by a mile! From the atmosphere to the drinks to the food, it was top notch. I pride myself in trying Old-Fashioned drinks everywhere I go, and this location still is top three easily for me.
I loved the atmosphere in this place and overall how all the bar areas looked. Plenty of seating (and standing area). It was so spacious!Excellent live music. We saw a whole band play live, and they were jamming out and having a great time.Overall, very elegant, I’d definitely come back.
What an amazing experience! The band is super tight, the cocktails are excellent, the food is notably good, the service is top notch, and the vibe is incredibly cool!
There are not enough amazing things I could say about this place! We had an area reserved for my bachelorette party and from the moment we walked in the service was top notch. ALL the staff was so kind a welcoming and made us feel so special! The food was delicious and our drinks were never empty. Add live entertainment into the mix and you truly have a one of a kind dining experience. Thank you UNTITLED for a night I’ll never forget.
Took my customer here for dinner on a weekday evening. We had an amazing experience. Ambiance in the library room was fantastic. Server attention was on point. Food was impressive. Whiskey selection is best / largest in the country, and I just cant really say anything bad about the place. It was not busy when we were there, so that allows for better service. Got out of there before the burlesque show though as it might not be up everyones alley.
Was there for a private event. This place is amazing! Great ambience and lots of cozy little corners. We enjoyed passed appetizers, a wonderful charcuterie spread, and a plated buffet. Everything was excellent. But to top it off, the staff was outstanding!! Ever attentive and never had to wait for anything, including bar service.Cannot wait to visit for a night of jazz!!
This place is amazing. My husband and I visited for our anniversary and we thoroughly enjoyed every detail from start to finish. The entire restaurant is underground with low lighting and vintage decor giving it a cool speakeasy vibe. Definitely recommend making a reservation as the place was absolutely packed on a Friday night but it is the perfect place for a romantic evening. Our server, Tyler, was friendly and personable. He gave some great recommendations and even brought us a whiskey sample to try.The entire staff was welcoming and friendly and everyone worked as a team, meaning we never had dirty plates sitting on our table and always had a full water glass. My husband has been to several high-end restaurants all over the country and by his standards, Untitled had the best food hes ever had at a restaurant! We had the ribeye, crab legs, and gnocchi for dinner. All were amazing, but I found myself craving the gnocchi for days afterward! Absolutely exquisite! One tip, (and our server did warn us about this) that although the baked alaska looks amazing (pictured) it did not taste good! The amount of alcohol they use to light it on fire (tableside, which was neat to watch) leaves an undesirable flavor behind...Baked Alaska aside... I HIGHLY recommend The Untitled Supper Club for your next meal in the beautiful city of Chicago.
Id never heard of Untitled until I attended a drag brunch here. I LOVE the atmosphere and would definitely choose to hang out here again! There was a $25 brunch with good food, especially the avocado toast, but I would have appreciated being offered another plate when they took my first one. I saw some people re-using plates 🤢
Great spot!!!!! Amazing crab cakes and drinks. Carlos did an exceptional job waiting on us as well. Will be back!
