Kilroys Sports Bar

Was here on a Saturday afternoon. Not many people here but the bar tender was friendly and glad to see a small group of people walk in. The bar itself was clean, had a lot of TVs and the drinks were well made. The mens room was clean as far as I could tell, but there was no door on the toilet stall. Would stop here again.

Legendary Sports bar, ranked one of the best college bars in America by numerous magazines and websites. They have some big names in The Atrium for concerts, and the bar has multiple floors and plenty of space. I highly recommend Kilroy’s Sports Bar!

Drinks are overpriced, staff is rude, not worth the cover charge. 1 vodka redbull is $20, tipped $1 because I bought 2 and the bartender said “wow thanks for the $1 tip” and got our group kicked out. Take 2 min to walk down to the Vid for cheap drinks and friendly staff, couldn’t pay me to go back into sports🤮

Im a usual sports goer. I payed for my ticket as usual, showed my ID and got my 21+ bracelet WAS in the 21+ area drinking after 30 minutes of arriving. Not even tipsy, not causing a scene, just talking with my partner, when this security lady (Im assuming shes security) comes up to me and my boyfriend, starts saying we cant drink and then literally SNATCHES my purse from me and wants to look through it (all I had was literally makeup) proceed to say we have to leave. We offered to show our IDs AGAIN and point at our bracelets but she PUSHED me and grabbed my arm so hard Im bruised really bad, I was willing leaving anyway because I dont want to cause a scene but she keeps pushing me against walls as I leave. So disappointed, I wasnt even drunk as a customer and she (an employee) was acting more immature and unprofessional than me. My arms are bruised, my behind is bruised because she pushed me so much I FELL, not to mention the embarrassment. Whats the point of showing ID at door and having a 21+ area if Im getting treated like a child?! None of the sports staff have been this terrible in my entire time going. Love sports and its staff, please get better security though.

Even if your cleaning staff is outsourced, you should expect better or hire someone else to clean. First a straw was stuck to the chair seat. Then an ant runs across the counter. Bar smelled terrible last night. Lastly, the bar countertop was sticky like a dirty rag had been used to clean it. Oh! And y’all didn’t have any cold beer, gave us a bar can of beer without even saying anything. Then, when asking if there was any cold, just got told no.🙃 Nobody wants to eat and look at this nasty sign beside them.Food was good, staff was friendly.

This place sucks. They can’t transfer tickets to other tables. Servers are rude. Bouncers are rude. They have a cop try to “escort” you out. Don’t waste your time.

Fun place, but dont get a table upstairs. Its a $300 minimum, and they dont tell you you have to order from a small menu of crazy overpriced bottles of liquor. Anything you buy from the bar doesnt count toward your tab.I spent $350 on 3 bottles of Prosecco and 1 bottle of Pink Whitney.Dont get a table upstairs. Its a straight up scam.

Best bar/club/dance club in 🅱loomington, IN.When buying drinks upstairs, be ready to get the Bartenders attention because it gets extremely crowded.

The blonde manager is super nice to customers. Their specialty drinks are fire and the live music is fire. Where else can you spend $1300 on a table and not regret it.

Ive not eaten here so I cant comment on the food. However, if youre here on the usual good nights, i.e. Tuesdays (sometimes), Thursdays and Saturdays youre going to have a good time. This is definitely a club environment in that youll see drunk people left and right dancing and having fun. So join the fun!

Its a college bar in a college town. Expect huge crowds, loud noises, crappy music and long waits for service unless you are willing to shell out 300 dollars for an hour of table service. The management is good, staff are reasonably helpful. Completely not worth the wait for service.That said, if you get here early, the food is great, and the seating is reasonably not gross for the aforementioned college bar in a college town.

I love going to Kilroy’s Sports! There is usually a wait to get a drink but that is expected. I am leaving a low review to get attention of upper management here. SIDNEIGH SCOBIE is rude and pays no attention to girls waiting at the bar. She socializes and will straight up skip over you multiple times if you are a girl. I let her know that I was next and she said she would have me kicked out!

Great staff and management. There is always something to do at Sports. The venue is so large that you will never get bored. Awesome shooters and other drinks. Live music keeps the energy high. Just an awesome place to have a good time.

The place is great...come to alot of IU basketball and nights at local places .. never had a problem in any way BUT must bring up that was sitting in a loveseat by the bar...the night of 2021 basketball event....ordered one drink and laid down a 50...30 minutes later in a spot no one had access too...there is no change..perfect night no far with a beautiful friend from work (we both make good money haha) there was no change ....I sure didnt wanna change a otherwise perfect night so I said nothing ...even ordered a couple more drinks. Not mad but disappointed...you were gonna get most of it either way...one way I come back and you get more. The other I go to bluebird....sorry

Just reopened Feb 2021 after multi-month COVID closure. Well staffed and they were on it! Crowd was obviously glad to be back, but behaved well. Management has clearly publicized COVID protocols, and held to them from what I could tell. DJs followed by a great live band on this Friday night. Welcome back, Kilroys!

Customer service was amazing!! They helped with my ticket problems and everything, definitely come here 🫶🏼!

This place has really changed in the last year. They have built a new covered patio that is pretty rad, and from what i hear, they will have a new menu in a couple months, which is awesome. I cant wait for $2 Tuesdays at Sports in the summer again!

I went to Kilroys expecting nothing more than a place to watch the game, and someone to serve me the occasional beer. However, the service that I received was so bad that I will NEVER go back. My waitress was completely inattentive, she took her break and had no one cover my table for her in the meantime, so I was forced to sit for over 20 minutes waiting for my second beer. All of this I could have forgiven, but when I went to use the restroom(I had not received my bill yet), I came back to find that she had given my table to another group! When I confronted her clearly upset that I had been unseated, her response was What do you want me to do? Tell them to leave?. This behavior is unacceptable, and I will NOT be returning. If you want poor service, a rude waitress, and extended waiting periods between drinks, this is the bar for you.

Helped a friend move into IU and spent a couple nights in Bloomington. Sports was Great!! I would definitely visit Sports again. It had good vibes and nightlife.

My kilroys experience was more like waking up to coal on a Christmas morning you see my food was black like a very very dark piece of charcoal also I asked for no vegetables and they wrote a note saying I needed them on my to go box for all they know I’m allergic. Horrible experience would love to be contacted for a refund.

Good drink deals, great bread sticks, but the crowd sucks. Its always overcrowded and very fratty. If youre looking for somewhere to go grab a drink and hang out, look elsewhere.

Service can be pretty Ba but the $2 Tuesdays are so worth it. $2 beers, $2 Long Island pitchers, $2 burgers and breadsticks. Cant beat those prices!

Ok so let me get this straight. Dead bar, $5 cover, leave cause whatever, they wont give me a stamp,you just have to pay again. Sure thing buddy. Ill definitely come back to your empty bar.

Tried to go with $2000 cash and I had 5 state IDs and they still wouldnt let me in. Havent been for 8- 9 years now and dont plan on it for life. Made me feel like a turd on a drain snake

Used to be cool now it kinda sucks, charge double to get upstairs and its so packed up there you cant handle dance.

Bloomingtons second most popular bar lacks the character of Kilroys on Kirkwood, but still has the massive crowds and the great drink specials.

Kilroys Sports is a one of a kind experience, really the only club and bar experience in Bloomington. Made a lot of great memories here

Bingo on Wednesday nights is so much fun! $2 doubles and $1 tacos are also hard to beat!

Whether you are jamming out to live music in the Atrium, or dancing the night away in the Jungle; Kilroys Sports has something for you. The best venue in town for concerts, clubbing, and to watch the big game.

I love that they have 4 different areas at Sports, you basically go to 4 clubs at once. Breadsticks are a must.

Was a little drunk before hand and was causing quite the scene unfortunately and it got the best of me. However the server put up with my ranting and hollering and general clumsiness. So due credit to her.

Warning! If you have an out-of-state drivers license, in my opinion, you better have several additional types of identification on you - and even then you may have to prove they’re not fake!

Very diverse range of bars in here; outside bar, sports bar and nightclub upstairs. Go on Thursday after 11:30p or Saturday after midnight.

Great atmosphere. Food was stellar. Bartenders were super personable.

I went outside and they didnt let me in. I needed to go to the bathroom. They just yelled and I grabbed a VIP and paid a lot of money for nothing.
