Honestly a waste of time!!!! The music was not clear, the speakers were literally broken and sounded god awful, the people were okay but the DJ snax played bad music and the crowd went dry and $30 cover was a waste of money 📉📉📉

I recently visited this club when i was in town with my 22-year-old sister and her friends, and our experience was nothing short of appalling. After paying the cover charges, we were subjected to rude and aggressive behavior by the club guard. Shockingly, he pushed over my sister and her friends without any provocation. It felt as though we were targeted because of our race. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable, and I would strongly advise anyone, especially women and people of color, to avoid this place. This club clearly has a problem with respect and basic human decency.

I’ve been to this place a couple times within the last 3 years and I think the most recent time is my last. First of all it’s $35 entry every time (the most expensive entry in Boston nightlife btw) and unlike other clubs in Boston where there are consistent deals going on aka a guest list, this place has none of that. The guest list they have listed on their official website doesn’t work. If you sign up you will get the people at the front say it’s not a real thing and doesn’t work… so why it there? Second, you pay $35 to get in, and for that, you would expect the atmosphere and the music to be good (AT LEAST), no it’s not. The Spanish side is a little better but the hip hop side is atrocious. The only redeeming thing venu would have going for them is the music since no other club in Boston specializes in just rap and Hispanic music, however they can’t even get that right. Third, the people at the front/ door are freaks, so strange every time, making it seem like it’s so packed and wild in there and you get in and there’s no one lol. This place would get way more business if 1. The entry fee wasn’t the price of two drinks and 2. The music was consistent and actually good.As I stated, they have a good business idea aka the rap and Hispanic side as no other club in Boston does that. There is definitely a need and a market for that, especially in Boston, but whoever runs this doesn’t understand how to make it work. $35 is insane and definitely need better music and maybe this place wouldn’t be half empty all the time.

Wow wow wow! I love how diverse this establishment is, the staff are great & helpful especially Taki, thank you for your great service and professionalism. It’s never a problem but always a great time here. If you’re looking for a fun experience , great vibes , and great music of all sorts you’d want to visit here!!!5 stars for me

Horrible service and no diversity. The Bartenders are inpatient, unkind and dont know the value of customer service. Its overpriced for undervalue service. Dont waste your time here.

Witnessed a group of Hispanic guys be discriminated against prior to entry, and eventually kicked out for no reason. Music was garbage. Drinks were overpriced and seemed watered down. First club I’ve been to in Boston & praying this isn’t standard for clubs in this city.

Admission is overpriced. Bartenders over charge for drinks and are rude and impatient. Not worth it if youre looking for a good time.

Bad experience, a place where immigrants are apparently not welcome, at the entrance when they realized that we didnt speak English in an arbitrary way they said that we couldnt enter wearing a cap until then, ok, right, house rules, but when we entered there were at least 8 people wearing caps , but that wasnt the worst thing after about 30 minutes after we entered, we were harshly expelled from the place with the justification that we couldnt drink near the bar where we were paying and consuming without causing any type of inconvenience.

Absolute horrible experience, mainly due to the bouncers working outside. Went there on Sunday 4/23/23 to celebrate my birthday - I immediately received a bad reception by the bouncers due to wearing a hat. Not the end of the world, so I took my hat off and began to clip it on my pants. I was told by immediately that that was unacceptable, so then asked if I could bring it in and check it with the coat check…and again with their horrible attitude I was told that couldn’t happen either. I then asked them if I could place it by the door safely and grab it upon leaving. Again with their horrible attitudes, one security guard tells me, “ You can do that, but if someone takes your hat we’re not responsible.”I replied stating that if their duty is to secure the door, patron safety, and belongings in coat check, that if someone indeed steals my item of clothing under their watch, then it would be their responsibility. They continued expressing their toxic macho mannerisms, and I told them that it’s 10:30 PM in Boston and I had to park a long way away to return my hat, mind you it was also raining ! They said it wasn’t their problem…I’m a pretty non confrontational person, and it takes a lot to upset me, but I was frustrated to say the least. I bit the bullet, returned to my car - and in hindsight I should have told the 3 other patrons that came with me that we should relocate to a different place just from the bad taste they left. When I came back, I paid $30 to get in plus $5 for coat check (money wasn’t the issue, I went their to celebrate my birthday at 12AM and just wanted to get in and make the best of it.)When I finally got inside, the venue was riddled with guys wearing hats. Skullys, fitteds, beanies, you name it.Rules are rules, and if they applied to everyone I wouldn’t of even taken the time to write this review, but the combination of horrible customer service and hypocrisy really set the tone for my experience throughout the night. I’m one person, and it probably won’t make a difference, but I’m never going that establishment again. Bad enough the venue was the size of a closet.Exceptional customer service goes a long way! Unfortunately, I’d rate the bouncers a -5/10. Their attitude felt personal, and they should truly seek proper customer service training. This was a horrible way to bring in my birthday.

This is a great place to dance and meet people, I was alone because I was visiting the USA as solo traveler, the guards were really nice, Im Mexican and they allowed me to enter without any problem (you must to show your passport), this was my first nightclub at Boston and was really cool, $35 USD cover!

Bouncers allowed his friends to trample girls in line this past weekend instead of bringing his friends out from the side. No respect for general safety of potential clients for the establishment. Disappointing as a first time visitor but I guess they have money to spare for a bad review and experience.

My friends and I bought tickets for NYE Midnight ranging from $50-90. The ticket guaranteed admission but the entire line waiting outside was denied admission with claims that they were at capacity. The bouncers couldnt care less about looking at our tickets or helping with refunds. They told us to figure out the refunds ourselves, meanwhile Eventbrite doesnt even have customer service so were all struggling to get refunds now. Your money is better spent elsewhere!

This place is riddled with an arrogant and toxic almost clique like group of staff who go and above and beyond to make sure that there is a hierarchy. Specifically the older manager like figures who handle employees , hiring managers and male bosses . Furthermore there is instances of preferential treatment . If you don’t believe me read all the reviews . There’s definitely a theme . Do not work at Venu . Get your extra cash somewhere else . When push comes to shove you won’t be protected or spoken for unless you are one of the bunch .

Had a great time! , Went by myself last night and had a blast The DJ was playin absolute hip hop boppers, all the bouncers were super friendly when I talked to them nice and clean place, overall had a blast and would definitely go back! :) Only reason I wouldnt give it five stars is cuz some of the bartenders and bottle girls were not in a positive mood but there was one that was really nice and made my night better :)

Zero stars. From the start of the night to the end, the attitudes and actions my friends and I experienced from the staff and bouncers was REPULSIVE. Staff, bouncers and management are sketchy, disrespectful and have no regard what so ever for the safety or experience of their guests. Staff gave off horrible attitudes and sass for no reason. A bouncer physically assaulted our friend and based on the response from management this must be something that happens a lot and they are used to covering up for the staff. Do not waste your time, money or risk your safety coming here.

Waste of time, full of underage cringe college students. Such a stupid system of creating a guest list queue for everyone to stand in. Girls who are attractive can skip the line just by flirting with the arrogant security staff. Clearly not a top club!

Having gone here three times to give it a chance, I have to say it is one of the worst clubs in Boston. Terrible music, overpriced cover, sketchy crowd. The bouncers are always on a power trip and single out people for absolutely no reason. If you treat them with respect they will still be very rude. They also have only targeted poc whenever we went so It makes us hard pressed to believe race isn’t a factor.

Bartender started serving us red syrup instead of rum for our shot. Had to call manager. Be careful.Good healthy crowd. Good music for Thursday night. I recommend but please keep an eye on bartenders. I dont think I will go there again. Unfair to take advantage of tourists like that.

Really unpleasant experience and unsafe for women. When closing time came, we were not only physically pushed out of the bar by the bouncers but also was also yelled and laughed at by them. Would not recommend this to anyone for a fun night out in Boston.

The bouncers towards the end of the night were rude and unprofessional. They were rushing everybody out when my friend was at the entryway simply waiting for the rest of our friend group to get out too. He wasnt wearing a winter jacket, which is why he refrained from walking out the door right away. The bouncers were trying to force him out when he was simply stating to them that he didnt wanna wait outside cuz he didnt have a coat. It was really cold that night and I dont blame him for wanting to wait inside for a minute while he stayed warm waiting for the rest of our group to get out. The bouncers kept pushing my friend. They were both arguing and yelling at each other. My friend was simply trying to defend himself while pleading his case for wanting to wait for our friends. I was outside waiting for him when one of the bouncers pushed him outside and then PUNCHED HIM IN THE FACE 😡. I was SHOCKED!!!! I couldnt believe what I just saw. The bouncers were extremely immature and handled the situation poorly. My friend then called 911. We left a few minutes later so well never know if the cops actually came that night cuz we were all in a hurry to get back to our bus. Terrible experience would not go back. I hope this place shuts down!

The security are very unprofessional we was on the front line they went all the way down on the line to grab 6 girls that was already drunk to put in because they need more girls than man that is what the latino security said! That is why happened a lot crimes over and over again because of they unprofessional jobs! I NOT A PLACE TO BE BECAUSE ITS NOT SAFE BECAUSE THE SECURITY DONT DO THEY JOB VERY GOOD!!! I got harrased by the security when he touches me without my consent and they didnt even care to hear my side of the story. They even accused my friend of stealing the employees phone. And they also tried to avoid taxes by taking cash only. They don’t treat me like human.

Expensive drinks but fun place

I would suggest going somewhere else. The door snobs running up front are obnoxious.Dropped ID outside, out of reach behind the gate, politely asked one of the bouncers if they could grab it for me, and was met with some “pseudo-alpha male” bs. “You can walk around and get it yourself.” Formerly being a bouncer, there’s really no reason for that, and also there was a gated crowd in line behind me. Unruly and drunk people are one thing, not regular patrons who were asking a favor because they literally could not get an item they dropped. We were removed from the line because I called Hamplanet Billy a dbag, no excuse there, but dang. Don’t act like a knob for no reason.Edit: read the previous reviews - it isn’t just me who thinks the bouncers are rude for no reason.

I ended up here looking for a night club with latin hispanic music. Paid $40 to get in. For my surprise, they had two dancefloors, one with what i was looking for. But on the other dancefloor, they were banging rap and hip hop tunes. People were having fun. I had fun and danced on both sections. Light show and animations were top quality and updated with times for me. Lots of colors. 50\50 you get a good bartender. Drinks were just ok. They close late so thats awesome. Overall, the vibe felt adecuate for ages 24- 35. Will definitely try again! Thanks.

The staff members were rude and mean. I decided to celebrate my birthday there and I arrived a few minutes after my friends and I asked if I could stand in line with them and they wouldnt allow it. They said they didnt care that it was my birthday I had to go to the back of the line (not even in a nice way) One of my friends had my ticket, I had to call them to come back outside once I finally got inside for them to bring out my ticket. I will never go there again

Went here to see Tory Lanez, I was getting close to the stage where there was some pushing going on. A girl screamed for security who came immediately off stage dragged me out ( being 5x my size) and did not see nor ask me what happened. The “owner” or “manager” outside did not pay me any mind but instead was taking large sums of money from gangs who had no identification. He requested the security man to come outside, but never came. Wonder why! I have bruises on me and a mark on my face from being man handled for no good reason. I paid over $300 for myself and friends and Tory never showed up, will see if I receive a refund. This place needs better management.

Not a bad place to go out with friends on the weekend. Drinks are not cheap, as the other clubs in the area. Staff are a bit rude but the music and crowd is good. Overall a good ambiance. They have 2 rooms, on with pop and the other is Latin music.

Extremely rude and arrogant bouncers who will ruin your night. We paid a lot of money to rent out the place for a small group of people and the bouncer (specifically the one with the pony tail) took it upon himself to kick out and embarrass many sober and respectful guests. They gave wrist bands to people under 21 and held them back from sober people over 21. They have no idea what they are doing and just enjoy being rude and arrogant to inflate their egos. Do not waste your money here.

Worst place ever, one shot is $16 plus I had a fight with someone who wanted to steal my jacket and he had 3 more firends with him, the security literally told me if you end up fighting with them we cant protect you and we have to kick you out instead of kicking 4 people out although he knew the guy wanted to steal my jacket and he took my jacket from the guy and he gave it to me then asked me to leave. I went to this club last night for a fashion show event. While the show was amazing with a variety of designers, models, rappers, and dancer I dont give the credit to the management team of the club but the organizers of the event, #laced and #reinavalentina. The club was in poor conditions, water dropping from the roof due to the rain, staff not very friendly, and expensive drinks.

I dont know how the atmosphere is inside because I and my friends couldnt even get in because of this host Iffy. The worst person Ive ever met. He doesnt even answer your questions. He was rude when a woman just touched him on the arm but he was touching all the women outside including my friends. I just visited Boston for the weekend with my friends and came here to have a good time. I was happy to wait for longer even till 12:30 or 1am but the only reason I left there was that he was unfair while allowing people in. If you have money to burn then you can enter by paying $2000 for a table for 10.

White lady security guard at front entrance was very rude and she pushed me in my back. It was my first time there in forever and I’m not sure why she even was rude. I heard Sunday’s are good there but I turned around after she pushed me and decided to go somewhere else and spend my money. If I decide to go again hopefully her attitude is better.

Beyond overpriced. Loud music with poor acoustics. Drinks at VIP table were poured by servers who consistently overpoured resulting in spillage. I visited here on Friday, music was great and all but im seriously questioning if their liquor was watered down... I ordered a vodka cranberry and it tasted purely like juice I even took it back to the bar and he poured it in front of me again and didnt taste like vodka at all. Never in my life have I paid $15 for a cup of cranberry juice!

This places needs better doormen, they are very rude and aggressive trying to pick fights anytime they Can that includes when their asked a question. They also charged me double the cover so $60 to enter because I had an all white shirt on. Inside the club is very small and no place to stand or anything

The cover to get into the club is incredibly overpriced for the subpar music that is played by the DJs. In the winter must pay $5 for coatcheck, in addition to $14 for every drink which is generally watered down. To make matters worse the bouncers are extremely rude and act like big bullies.

It may just be the Boston club scene in General, but I had a few puzzling observations. Entry and coat check are cash only. This is ok, but they dont have an ATM available for people like me that dont carry cash. The DJ in the main room (Top 40) sucked, but I had a really good time in the Latin room. They also advertised one entry fee but when we got there, did not honor it. The drinks were over priced .

The entire area is very sketchy, security act like a gang and make you wait in line just to make the place seem more packed. The security said I also would have to pay $50 to get in because of my shoes then took my money and put it in their pocket and told the door guy I was all set, $50 the owner doesn’t get.

Usually have a good time here.. Security lady at the door almost ripped my arm off looking into my wristlet, she didnt even give me a second to hand it to her. Best club of my young life... I fell in love with Jordan Kelley...Her service was impeccable...Always smiling and there to cater to our needs... I really hope she is single because I want her babies.... All of them... Family of 25... White picket fence.. Everything....10 labradoodles and maybe a horse... Drinks were beyond delicious... Very strong and worth each dollar....hands down best club in Boston. Request Jordan Kelley she is more than just a server/bartender she is the face of the club and her charismatic, passionate attitude towards each customer makes my night and Im sure many others as well.... I was assaulted by the security guards because a accident occurred off of work premises with the female bouncer Olga iris robles about 3 weeks ago. I am disgusted with the security team and how they are willing to jump on a female the way they did me. No man should use all his power on a woman. Or maybe it was just because my skin color.

I’ve been reaching out to these people for a little over a week regarding a vip section for my birthday, i have not gotten a response, i’ve submitted a form for the vip reservation online twice and still no one has gotten in touch with me. I’ve called over 4/5 timesand texted twice and still nothing smh

Renovations look great and opened up a lot of space. Bouncers are friendly. Drinks are reasonably priced. Overall great place to spend your weekends.

Be aware of racist security guards at the door, denied us entrance because of our skin color even though we had purchased tickets on Eventbrite.

Poured 3/4 of a beer and charged me for the whole beer. Watched the bar tender put the 1/4 of the drink I paid for in the trash. Go somewhere else.

I stood at a bar waiting to order drinks and a employee came up to me and accused me of hitting them in the face and they forced me to leave my girlfriend at the bar and my coat in the rack. Worst nightclub ever. Staff abused me. Planning on suing

Had such a great time !! Went on Saturday and it was such a great atmosphere . The music was live and I just kept dancing the whole night ! No problems at all with getting in and leaving . Highly suggest this place .

All Thought I have only been to venue a hand full of times, I must say its the worst night club I have ever seen in my whole life. The bouncers are poorly trained and thats coming from someone whos been in Law enforcement for a while.

Clowns took my vape pens and lighter at the front door and wanted me to take care of him wanted me to pay him off but half the club was smoking weed . Its one thing if its not allowed but if half the club is smoking weed they are playing favorites and want to be payed off .
