I always have an amazing experience with Joshua as my therapist! He listens and adjusts his massage based on your individual needs for that session. Highly recommend booking a session!

Kind and receptive. Uses way too much lotion/oil; I felt as if I just stepped into a bath of it; yuck! Some good techniques were used targeting problematic areas; though there were times that there was a loss of focus and attention to applying an efficient amount of firmness, and just seemed to be more like having someone apply suntan oil.

I’m reviewing for being given incorrect information when I booked my appointment. I purchased a massage gift card over the holidays at the Cool Springs/Franklin location. I was told it was for a 50 min massage for $65 and could use at any location for that amount. I booked an appointment at the Brentwood location and to my surprise when I was checking out, I was charged $130. When making my appointment at this location, I confirmed my 50 min massage would be $65 (amount of gift card.) In addition, I had a promo card for $20 and only $15 was supposedly on it. The ladies at the front said I used $5, which would be impossible since the promo card has been in a drawer till today. So much for the good customer service. Yes it was only $5, but it’s the principle. I do not recommend this location or even Massage Envy, unless you are ok with being misled.

David was very attentive and caring to my needs. He found knots that I didnt even realize I had! I left feeling relaxed and totally satisfied with my massage.

William is an incredible massage therapist who I have been going to for years.Unfortunately, that is changing because of the franchise owners. My membership was activated at a different location. The Brentwood location’s monthly fee increased but the Franklin franchise where I joined remained the same. Brentwood insisted on charging me the difference. I was told a few months ago that the charge would go away when Franklin raised their rates and I had used all of my hours at the lower rate. Franklin raised their rate by $10 but Brentwood turned around and raised theirs by $15. Now I’m being charged an additional $15 each visit. I feel that this is ridiculous. After many years of being a dedicated customer I will not be returning.

William did a get job! He provided a wonderful deep massage exactly where I needed it for pain relief!! Highly recommend him!

Daniel was great and really helped release a lot of tension I had in my shoulders and lower back. No complaints.

Bill is excellent and he listens to your issues on your body aches. We have been remodeling and moving boxes up and down stairs. My back, shoulders and thighs were killing me.After my massage I felt no pain, it was unbelievable. I always feel better after my massages with Bill. I just hadnt felt this bad before. He is excellent!!

I use this service a few times a year, and my experience has been consistent. I have also recommended Massage Envy to friends! If you are in need of a good massage therapist, check out Joshua, he is one of the best at this location!

Why did I almost cry after my massage was done yesterday? My man Joshua went FIRM firm and was not scared. That man decompressed my back and shoulder so good. I didnt even realize I was so tense until the popping started. I needed that massage bad. I somehow fell asleep and woke up to him telling me our time was up as he walked out the door. This is when my eyes started to sweat a little. I know I had just met Joshua yesterday but I wasnt ready for him to leave my life. I just hate it had to come to an end. Joshua at ME Brentwood is the best!

Massage Envy has a well-defined process. “Members” get preferred rates, reminders the day before appointments, clear communication about protocols (when masks were required and now not required), and scheduling. Jeremy does a thorough job working out my knots.

Joshua is great. He asks what your focus areas are and works those specific areas. Will chat with you only as much as you want to chat which is great. Sometimes I come in super chatty and then fall right to sleep. Just seems like a nice guy who wants you to feel better. The lady at the front desk was super nice, too. Very engaging.

Joshua at Massage Envy Brentwood North is phenomenal. It felt like I had a physical therapist, chiropractor and professional masseuse all rolled into one. My whole body feels better from head to toe and Im so glad I have him to add to my self care. Thank you, Joshua!

In addition to a fantastic massage, Joshua was thoughtful and communicative throughout. He took the time to make sure he understood what I needed in terms of problem areas, level of firmness, etc. He checked in throughout to be sure the pressure was okay & let me know what to expect with a new therapeutic balm I hadnt used before. The session was well-paced and nothing felt rushed or over-worked. Highly recommend Joshua & the Brentwood North ME team!

I always feel better after I leave.I upgraded them back to 5 stars because they have a new manager and she took care of my past issue and seems to really care about making this location great.Bill is great and I always feel better after my visit with him. I downgraded to 4 stars because of the management. The people at the desk are wonderful but my appointment was messed up and I drove 2 hours for nothing and I have asked the manager to call me twice. I know Bill asked her to call me and still no communication from her. This is just a poor way to treat a customer who has been loyal for YEARS!Bill is great. I always feel better after a massage with him. He listens to my concerns and is able to help with my back pain.Saw Bill for some shoulder neck issues and wow do I feel better. Thanks for all you do.

I have been getting massages from Jordan since last year and they are always the best. I’ve had 3 lower back surgeries due to a car wreck. I’ve experienced a lot of tension in my whole entire back side and I sit for 8 hrs a day working from home. Jordan takes his time and relieves so much of my tension within a 60 minute session. I feel amazing when I leave every time. My overall experience with these group of people are amazing, from the front desk works to my massage. I would recommend this experience to anyone in need to relieve stress and tension. You guys are amazing. To escape everyday life for 60 minutes is the best gift I could ever receive! I have been experiencing lots of back, shoulder, neck, and hip pain for quite some time and finally booked an appointment for a 60 min massage focused on these areas. Joshua was very understanding during consultation and focused exactly on those areas with the pressure level I requested. He did a really great job releasing over a years worth of tension and stress in such a short amount of time. Communication regarding appointment booking was great. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful😀

Great massage by Josh, be prepared to pay double if you are not a member. Received a gift card for $120. Ended up paying another $110 for the rest of the bill plus tip, tried 4 times to book online with no success, called location and actually got someone to answer after making 3 attempts.i have not been to massage envy in a long time because of last experience but I received a gift card and did not want to waist it,if you are thinking about giving a gift card to your valentine I would save your money and buy flowers, again massage was wonderful but not worth all the hassle and money

Horrible. The scheduling, the massage itself and the service by the people.I had a membership for a year which sounded like a great deal, but I could never get an appointment at this location. I scheduled at this location multiple times and had 4-5 appointments cancelled at the last minute. It’s incredibly frustrating to plan a recovery day and look forward to a massage all week to be let down at the last minute. The massages at this location are average at best too. The service desk is not helpful.Don’t waste your money on massage envy (especially this location), I’m going with Body Balance Massage from now on and, if you’re local, I encourage you to give Vanessa a call.

This ME location is very clean and runs smoothly. From the gentleman at the front desk to the therapists, its an enjoyable experience. Thanks to Jordan for targeting the source of my neck and shoulder discomfort and getting me on the path to relief!

I initially had a poor experience in Brentwood massage envy, but the manager followed up promptly and sought to rectify it straight away. I was impressed with the level of customer service by her. Very professional. She set me up to see Brendan for a deep tissue massage. One of the best massages ever...and I’ve had a weekly massage for years. Turned what would have been a bad experience into a great one. He listened intently to the areas I wanted him to focus on. Great pressure and checked in frequently throughout. Extremely skilled. Will sign up for their monthly plan if I get to see Brendan each time! Front desk very friendly and helpful too.

Diana is a diamond in the rough! She is truly one of a kind and has been a blessing helping me through my first pregnancy. She does an amazing job with the prenatal massages and helps me with stretches and good positioning to make it through the final months. I couldn’t have made it through without her.

I am a female bodybuilder looking for a massage therapist who really understands muscularity and how to address trigger points and release tight muscles. This was my first session with Jordan. Jordan was exceptional in all regards. He listened to my needs and addressed as much as he was able to in the 60 min I had scheduled. I have already made a followup 90 min massage to allow him more time. I highly recommend Jordan for any high performance athlete looking for a firm, deep tissue massage!

It was and incredible experience for my son and his fiancé. I purchased a back to back message for them and they were over the top excited. Once they were done they had nothing but over the top deep tissue messages from Sharunda. Both say she was the best they have and was absolutely brilliant. To the reviews saying they hated it after one visit, it takes clear communication and the right fit. Bill is awesome. He has multiple years of experience and knows what to do. Since the new owners have taken over the Brentwood location, the quality of the service has risen tremendously. Bianca is by far the BEST masseuse I have ever had. I like a firm/hard massage. By looking at her tiny build you would think there was no way she could deliver such pressure, but you’d be wrong. She is powerful. And even better, she isn’t chatty. When I get a massage I like to relax, listen to the tranquil music and maybe fall asleep. That’s hard to do if the masseuse is talking the entire time. Bianca apparently understand that, which I really appreciate.

After a long motorcycle ride I was fortunate to find an available appointment to fit my schedule while in town. My masseuse Shelisa was amazing. She understood my needs regarding where I felt the most tense. Deep tissue massage is what I asked for. And she did an outstanding job. I have been going to this locations for over a year now. In the beginning it was like this but not so much lately. Susan was amazing, she did not neglect anything, she worked areas that most dont (head and face) she also did more on my feet then others have. I was more than satisfied. I now have her schedule and will try to have her as my massage therapist whenever possible. Again she was wonderful.

Deandre was awesome! I asked for the best and he did not disappoint. I have chronic pain and he skillfully relieved the tension in so many areas. He also gave me several tips for how to address the soreness over the coming days and to help address the pain at home in between sessions. I wish Id booked a 90 minute. I will be back!

Well, the overall massage was supposed to be firm, but felt more like medium. I asked the knots in my back and shoulders to be worked on, but they were barely touched. The massage started after the 10 minute mark passed on my start time, and ended ten minutes early. I, dont need ten minutes on each end to take my shirt off and lay down. So I paid for a 60 minute and only got 40. Lastly there was no hot towel wipe down, so when I finished driving home, I noticed massage oil residue all over my leather seats. Ive had better massages in a 30 minute session at a hole in the wall place.

Professional and courteous staff. Very well trained and extremely pleasant demeanor... I would recommend them 10 out of 10 times. Shelisa is an AWESOME masseuse. She knows her stuff and is also just a real nice person.

Joshua is very well trained at what he does. He has an excellent demeanor and you can tell that he knows just how to manipulate your muscles to alleviate any problem you may have.

I get massages regularly and can say this was the worst massage I have ever received. My appointment was at 10. My therapist didn’t take be back to the room until 10:05 by the time she was done asking questions and came back into the room after undressing it was 10:15. I asked for medium pressure to work on knots and she hardly used any pressure at all. The worst technique I have ever felt. I got absolutely no relief from my massage. Then to boot by the time she finished and I got off the table to dress I checked my phone and it was 10:51. There is 25 minutes I lost out on but paid for. Very unhappy with the service.

This was my first time getting a professional massage, and I would warn any other newbies to let them know if you want a relaxing environment. The masseuse I had was nice, but extremely chatty about their life and family, such that it was hard to find any sort of serenity or even balance. At this stage, I feel like the experience wasnt worth the trial cost, much less a membership for additional visits.

Naomi is wonderful. I appreciate the fact she does appointments after 4:00 p.m for people like me who work during the day! She is gifted at finding the pain points and rubbing them out!

I have been going to Taylor for two years now once a month. She is amazing and always goes above and beyond for me. I think she is a great massage therapist but an all around amazing person as well.

Diana gave me a lymphatic drain massage. She is very caring and explained the technic before she began and gave me instructions after the message. I got great relief from sinus and joint inflammation. She is Very relaxing and calm.

First time back post COVID. Lots of great things in place and going on at ME. Josh was friendly and a help to my stressed out body. Would recommend👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Less than 5 stars due to the check in staff causing me to be late to my massage due to them not getting all the forms checked off when I arrived.

I paid for my Mother to have an hour massage for her birthday. A trainee quoted me the price of $65 which is what I paid. Come to find out, he quoted me the wrong price b/c my mother has been there before. Not my fault! Well, my mother got her massage on her birthday and was NOT satisfied at all with the massage therapist named Naomi. My mother stated this therapist never turned her over to massage her back side. She also stated she was not offered water which caused her to be dizzy and weak afterwards. When I asked about this, the manager stated they are not offering water due to Covid. Well, what about bottled water? Something is better than nothing. Furthermore, my mother stated no one asked her how her massage experience was and she was not acknowledged as she was leaving out. I called to speak with the manager and requested that my mother receive a complimentary massage from a different therapist. The manager stated she needed to speak with the director. The manager also had somewhat of an attitude. Well, the director named Emily Veloz declined the request b/c the rate she received was already discounted. Emily stated that my mother could purchase another $65 massage. Why should she pay and it was her birthday gift? The price was discounted due to an error on their part. I dont feel my mother should have to pay out of pocket for another massage. This needs to be rectified the correct way.

Josh was amazing. He made all the tension knots I had in my neck, shoulders and back total disappear; along with the sciatic nerve pain I was feeling in my hip. Thank you, Josh!

I asked for a deep tissue massage which is what I usually get from my standard therapist Candace, but I missed my appointment with Candace and got a hour massage from Blanca and had a very poor experience. She just put the massage lotion on my back and then continued to just apply her elbow rather hard to just my shoulders and lower back to the point of have more back pain after the massage than when I initially came in to take care of. Anyone can simply put lotion on your back and just elbow you in 4 areas, each shoulder and lower back. Not a rewarding experience that Im use too on my visits to Massage Envy.

I originally was supposed to get a 90 minutes full body deep tissue massage. I changed it last minute to the hyper tension tool & a 60 massage. I barely even got a massage. He just pressed on a bunch of places on my back & held it. I selected all areas before going in the paperwork you fill out before hand & my legs, feet, calves, and really nothing besides my back got rubbed & even then it was a lot of pressing/holding & no actually massaging as what I expected was going to happen was done. If I would’ve known this was what the experience was going to be, I would have looked elsewhere for what more do suited me in what I was expecting, wanting, & needing. Very friendly staff though!

I purchased a membership and decided to cancel once it was up because the service was very inconsistent. I had one massage left that I have been trying to schedule since forever but they were always “booked up”, which was never the case when I had an active membership btw. I called today and finally was able to get an appointment but was told that I didn’t have any massages on my account and the young lady couldn’t tell me why. She said that a manager would call me back in 15-20 minutes. After a couple of hours, I received a call only for the manager to tell me that the massage that I PAID FOR was expired. I was never told that something that I PAID for had a cancellation date on it. I was never called to schedule an appointment, which always happened when I had an active membership, and I was told at the time that I cancelled that it would just stay on my account until I used it. The manager, with her smug attitude, proceeded to tell me that it was in the cancellation form that I signed. And again, I informed her that I was told I could use it whenever I got ready. She basically gave me an “oh well”. I’m disgusted and disappointed in her attitude and lack of customer service as well as as feeling like my money has been stolen. As a business owner the lack of loyalty to clients who spend money with them is also very upsetting and disheartening. I will be reaching out to corporate about this. I will never use this establishment again. I even have a gift card for a free massage and I will give it away before I step foot in this place again.

When I booked my massage @ the Green Hills Massage Envy, I did not have a preference of therapists; I was assigned to Ibrahim. My only request of him was “please focus on my back.”That is exactly what Ibrahim did...& he did it so well! He spent so much time, using many different movements, and just the right medium to firm pressure that I’d asked him to use. I left feeling more relaxed and less achy...and wanting more!I will be sure to book another massage soon, asking for Ibrahim, my back’s new best friend!

The front desk staff is always pleasant and helpful.Bill is wonderful. My only complaint is that the clock seems to speed up during my session.😁

It was okay every message therapist isnt the same so if you can get one on a consistent basis, you are good. This place always has a major overturn where you may see a therapist today and the next time you schedule they may be gone. I like consistency. Now they were nice and courteous but a little unorganized.

Im a massage envy member. First time going to this location. And last. I requested a deep tissue masseuse. But I got someone who basically rubbed lotion on my body for 50 mins. I asked him if he could increeAe the pressure as it wasnt doing anything. He said Ive been doing this for 30 years,I know what Im doing. I also again a few minutes later and he said he was just warming up my body. I would rather have not gotten a massage after everything. Nice but not what I wanted. The staff should be honest about the services offered.

While the folks here are nice, youll never be able to cancel your membership. Yes - I understand Ive been a member for quite a while. But when you try to explain that you simply cannot afford their membership anymore only to have them consistently offer their freeze policy, it gets frustrating. Ive tried a few times to cancel my membership. And even though Ive contractually fulfilled my obligation, they will not let me cancel. Whats a person supposed to do if they cannot afford the monthly membership anymore, and after theyve unfrozen your membership, you still cannot afford it?? I need to cancel my membership. But my requests always fall upon deaf ears. I dont get it.

New therapist. She did not listen to what I needed or asked for (or asked to avoid). It felt like a 10 year old did my massage. Awful.

Ive gone to the Brentwood ME for several years. Taylor is a fantastic massage therapist! My favorite of all and 90 minutes is my choice. Im impressed with their Covid precautions, fantastic.

Very displeased with customer service at this location. They state lies and do a lot of double talk. I recommend you go to another company if you are interested in a monthly massage. Rude and full of lies, that when you catch them they say, oh, I was trying to say. Been there twice and very unpleased! As I read some of the reviews, I notice that at least one is an employee there. I know, his name is very unique and he has given me a massage. Beware!

I had a great experience at this location. The staff was very pleasant. My massage therapist, Dimitar, was fantastic. It might have been the best massage Ive ever had. I will definitely be going back.

This was my first massage so I didn’t know what to expect. I do CrossFit, so I had lots of sore muscles and tension. The staff here was SO friendly. Jordan was INCREDIBLE. Definitely going back.

Adam at Brentwood took the time to really figure out what I needed and I felt a lot better after leaving because he put so much effort into working on areas that needed the most work. His knowledge of the mind body connection was really helpful!

Joshua knew right where to get the adhesions! Worked with knowledge of my auto immune as well. Very much recommend him...I wish I could bring him back to Massachusetts with me to get my monthly massage! 😀

Ive always had a good experience at this location. They maintain it pretty clean and have a friendly staff. The parking is a bit tricky. Because its in a shopping plaza you can never really get something close to their door. Overall a great choice. Checkout their specials!

I have a family member who works at this location and I was recently made aware that they may or may not have potentially been exposed to COVID, nothing has been said to the staff, and the owners are simply brushing it under the rug as if it’s no big deal. I am almost certain that Massage Envy corporate has a particular protocol to follow when possible exposure has occurred, but this location and Green Hills are not following through with these protocols. I find this to be quite selfish as people’s health is being risked.

Bill was amazing! Such a nice guy and used techniques that helped the massage be relaxing while still feeling efficient and productive in body soreness.

Beware of the Shady business tactics from this establishment. Im a longtime customer of this location so Im not a one time customer so when I have an issue I would expect it to addressed by management promptly and professionally and not bamboozled by staff.I have back issues and in April I was in for a massage. When checking out I was asked to renew my membership I told the young lady I wasnt able at the time. She explained they had a special and I could get two massages for a special price if u purchased that day and it could be used as a mini membership.I knew I had surgery planned got later in yr and the thought this would be perfect.Long story short I tried to use one of the massages yesterday and told that the ones I paid 150.00 for in April had expired because it was a gift card.😲 huh wait this establishment took my money for a service I never recieved and are refusing to provide the service. I begin to explain that I never recieved a gift card. This wasnt explained I w as d told this can be used as a mini member (long time member ) do Im aware of this works.I ask for a manager the young lady said she will have one call me. I was for a customer service or corporate office number she says I dont know where to locate any of this.Terrible customer service and Ive yet to here from this general manager. I found the corporate CS number and its a voicemail to leave a message. Ive never had an issue until this and I will never return because of this and Im mass emailing everybody I know to want them.You never know who know who so shady business beware.

Masseuse was super knowledgeable on pressure points and working with trouble areas. I generally get massages once a year at the most, but scheduled another one right away.

I’ve emailed the facility about a concern. Crickets! No response. I called and left a message for the manager. It’s been 2-3 days.... crickets and no response. So today, I’ve left a message on the voicemail. Service at Brentwood North has been disappointing and further proven by the lack of response and concern from management. We will see how this goes? I can already tell...

I would leave 0 stars if I could. Save yourself any headache and don’t go to this location EVER! The receptionist was so rude through booking my appointment all the way to the end. I had the worst massage of my life. The lady doing my massage arrived late to work and I had a cold room and cold table. I will never go back there!

If you are looking for a great massage, this is not it. The therapists are brand new. Nothing wrong with that, but just to set your expectations, this is the Mcdonalds of massage. You get what you pay for and dont get what you dont pay for. And, if you ever decide to transfer your accrued massages to another person, there are fees. There are fees everywhere. In that regards, they are the Comcast of massage therapy.

Aimee is the reason to come to this location. She is really awesome and well trained and has good pressure for all types. The front desk staff has really stepped up recently with their customer service also.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS MASSAGE ENVY. I will never step foot into this pathetic excuse of a massage parlor ever again. Theyre not willing to work with you on ANYTHING. I had scheduled an appointment for Friday, (today) being that today was the ONLY DAY OF TH WEEK I was free to go get a massage. Whatever dipshit on the phone that put my appt down evidently put it for Thursday, so at 5 PM yesterday(Thurs.) I get a call from them wondering where Im at. After I discover they had the incorrect appt date I then ask to reschedule, but now my massage is worth half of what it originally was, so I can either pay them more $$$, or take half the massage. After I dispute the appt date, they tell me Well you could have rescheduled when we called you on Wed. to confirm the appt, which upon looking through my call log, never happened. THEY NEVER CALLED, PERIOD. The lady Im speaking with on the phone(Chanelle I believe) then becomes rude and defensive and absolutely insists that I received a phone call. She refuses to do ANYTHING to resolve the issue, and just keeps saying Thats against our policy with a -this is your problem, not mine- demeanor. . So what all started with their own finite internal error, just cost me a massage, and them a customer. If I could give negative stars I would. I wouldnt recommend this place to an enemy, much less friends or family.
