Went there on Wednesday for a show. Wanted to ask the bartender where the show was happening (it was my first time there), but they kept actively ignoring me despite the place being nearly empty. Later I wanted to order a drink, and the bartender served everyone else first, including the people who got there after me, and when they finally decided to take my order, they did so with a dead stare, without saying a single word to me. The whole experience felt upsetting and unwelcoming, not sure what the bartender’s problem was, but treating visitors like that is just rude and unacceptable.
This is a really cool spot, from the bar selection to the lighten, it has everything you’d need for an evening (especially on a Friday) wind down. The bar caters to most taste and is stocked to offer a variety sure to satisfy most thirsts. The lounge area is spacious, clean, and filled with music just loud enough to add to the atmosphere without being deafening or forcing you to yell over it. The back room where the stage is has a smaller bar which is a nice touch, and the lighting and smoke machine definitely add to the appeal of an already nice place.
This venue is really cool. I went to Balls Deep Disco. Had a fantastic time. Diverse crowd and chill vibes. Will most definitely attend other events here
Left my backpack here last week…came back this week…it was there. Thanks to Jamie and all the awesome staff. Great bar as well.
Cute bar with small, raw dance space in the back and seated tables in the side room next to the bar. If you’re looking for top notch AV to dance to this is not your spot. If you’re looking for a great local LGBTQIA++ watering hole; or a nostalgic, hole in the wall, raw space like when you first starting partying and needed an after hours or pregame spot to just relax with friends - which is more about the vibe of the clientele and music than fancy lights and sound anyway - than this is your spot!Saw Lady Bunny DJ for a friend’s bday (not the best mixer by any means but music/vibe was fun and crowd was SUPER diverse)! If you’re throwing a private party I’d say you can fit 75-100 if spaced throughout the venue. Service from the bar could be better (our half-finished drinks kept disappearing for no reason all night while chatting with friends and not paying attention, so we had to keep ordering more; and getting new ones was not as easy with the smaller bar area unless you camp out there); however, the small bar staff of 3 did their best slinging to a full house that just kept getting busier through the night, so give them props for staying nice through the night and not losing their cool.
Bit pricy but the entertainment was amazing. Service was great and drinks were great too.
Nice music and drinks, air conditioning and a clean bathroom. Very good dancing music !!
Ill give the benefit of the doubt before I totally bash this place. The drinks made by Jamie the bartender were superb, Her ? attitude was horrid. She was not pleasant. Maybe you have to be a regular, this is Nyc, im not expecting to be Friends with everyone you meet. Id hope, Her ? attitude would be better next time. chiiiit, I left a tip on my first drink, I didnt even get a thank u; unless, she ? whispered it. smh. The place is a dope venue tho. I witnessed a show by Kiah victoria and Joy Morales. Ill give cmon everybody another shot. I tried to break the ice by asking Jamie the bartender about the menu that she stated, she created.
On 8/4: There was one male bartender who was bald and wearing a dirty white wifebeater there that kept ignoring me and a few other patrons. He also kept walking away from the bar area. I thought it was very rude. The female bartender from the opposite side of the bar came and assisted me. She was pretty nice.Overall, I love the atmosphere and drag shows! Besides the bartender, the staff are overall really cool and courteousSpecial shout out to the Queens, especially Jender Role who gave a riveting performance!!
It is a great bar, sure. Nice friendly service with a chill, loungey vibe... but thats not why I keep coming. Its like the Tardis of music venues. The stage in the back is something else. It ends up feeling bigger because the lighting and the sound are at pro-league levels. Then theres the mini bar. If there was seating back there Id never leave. But Im glad there isnt. More space in which to dance! And whomever is booking the talent... youre going to bankrupt me with reasonably priced double gin & tonics and cheap tickets to double billed shows, because its not like I can go every. single. week. Its insane. I go to see paris_monster and find 2 more bands that I have to follow like the Pied Piper of Hamelin. The music starts and I lose all free will. Ugh. My life is SO hard. There are too many cool things happening in this neighborhood. Yall gonna make me move back to Brooklyn!
Best queer bar in BK. Molly is the best bartender Ive ever met, not only did they treat us right but they had the hook up on all the best queer and trans parties in New York11/10
I loved coming here before 2020: not sure if management or priorities have changed since the pandemic. Like someone else said for a place called C’mon Everybody it seems like they want to present a sanitized queerness that doesn’t include poc, except if they work there. One particular bartender is always rude to me, not sure what their problem is. Another night, some friends to check it out and the bartender decided she didn’t want to work so we were told to leave. And they charge crazy prices for drinks. Don’t think I’ll be back unfortunately.
Guys really? 😀 20 💰just for enterance ? 😀 And not gonna offend personally any DJ’s but - Person who plays music from YouTube can’t be DJ and 20 💲 too much (even there are famous artists and shows which have same price .Not going to judge about stuff and drinks but price is crazy high 😀
Great atmosphere, awesome shows, and a chill vibe!
You can tell the vibe is normally great and they have a lot of events going on.... but there is one employee who gave me the death stare the entire time I was there. I accidentally misgendered them on a conversation I was having with my friend at the bar and they corrected me but I didnt notice because they were not part of the conversation. I understand that people want to be gendered correctly, but people are going to make mistakes. Butch Molly (as they referred to themself) did not earn a good tip in my book as they wanted to punch me in the face the entire night. After paying the bill and paying a small tip, I realized Molly was not the one receiving it but actually another bar tender. I had thought about it all the next day and went to go pay the girl who received the tip more money to make it right (because she was great). Molly was the one working when I went to pay more and they were so angry with me and told me they wanted to spit in my face (amongst other things). They said this with other customers paying attention at the bar. This is true very reason I gave a bad tip. If your energy is that of a fight and spit in my face, why do you think I am going to give any extra money? I am only posting this so the girl bar tender knows it had nothing to do with her and she was great and the tip wasnt supposed to be for her.
Went to see the In Living Color open set last week. The show was amazing and awesome DJ sets before and after the show. But only giving three stars because the bartender was understaffed and extremely rude to customers and the performers specifically. Super disrespectful to the queens for no reason.
It’s a cool little spot, with fairly cheap drinks and regular live music. Every show I’ve gone to see there has been phenomenal. I especially loved the The Jelly jam night held there on the first Monday of every month. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because on a few occasions I felt some of the bar and door staff were not to friendly. May have just been a couple of difficult nights, so I won’t hold t against them.
Top-down excellence from the owners, staff, the talent/programming, and the patrons. Literally one of the only venues I legit LOVE showing up at on my own and feel good/safe just dancing/listening. Performing there is also pleasant cuz the crew is so nice and it looks/sounds good esp for a small venue. Intimate & vibeyyy~
Pros: Ive enjoyed both parties Ive attended. The calendar of performances/DJ sets is great.Cons: The back area gets very humid. There are only two bathrooms. Given all the space used for coat check, I wonder why more space wasnt laid out for bathrooms.
Been coming hear for years. I love this place. Whether it’s a drag race viewing party or a dance party in the back I have a great time here.
Cmon Everybody is one of the best bars Ive ever visited. The bartenders were friendly, the entertainment was excellent, the atmosphere was inviting... I could go on! After visiting some not-so-great gay bars in Manhattan, Brooklyn blew me away. I cant wait to come back!
I came here on October 1st to the Jxst J show.My only complaint is for the security guard who was overly aggressive and shoved me for no reason. When we arrived, he asks me and my girlfriend to show our vaccine cards. I show him a picture of mine and then I help my girlfriend look for hers. So, Im standing close to her and we are sifting through the photos in her phone. The security guard pushes me out of the way nearly lifting my body with his one arm and repeats VACCINE CARD!, as if I were being hostile or something. It was embarrassing and uncalled for.Thankfully the night ended on a good note; the live sound in this place is awesome! Jxst J was phenomenal! Also, the bartenders were so kind and personable. We ended up having such a good time!
I love this space, but tonight the bouncer assaulted me by grabbing my backpack and dragging me backwards because I didn’t hear her when she asked to see my ID, which I had already shown her. It sucks to feel unsafe in a queer space, and I will miss this space very much.
Not good as a Drag Race viewing party. They have one tiny TV in a crowded bar, with a live music venue in the back, so you usually can’t hear much of what’s going on. Otherwise a cool spot.
This venue is incredible. A great size with plenty of lounge space, bar space, dance space! The perfect blend of dark and stylish with a relaxed vibe and awesome acts. Gotta go play here!
Always a fun time! Awesome bar staff and events! Love the community this place brings together
My local live music venue offers eclectic programming ranging from live Afro-Punk to deep-house DJ sets and everything in between. Its really cool to have a local Clinton Hill live music venue supporting local music. By the way, the only reason I deducted 1 point is that Ive had trouble with the 1-eyed bouncer a few times.
I love this place! They have really great bands and parties and the drinks are good...too good. The lavender drink and the rose drink are dangerous! I also love to come here and watch RuPauls Drag Race!
I love the music always, good people and great vibe but it always stinks. BO & vomit sometimes I cant walk in. They need Windows!!! If you can stand the smell youll have an awesome time.
I went for A Party Called Rosie Perez. Nice place, great music but typical hipster crowd that cant dance. I was hoping for a true NYC underground vibe but I didnt get it here. Bartenders are slow af at the main bar and not good at keeping track on whos next. go to the back bar which has less of a wait. the 2 drinks I had were nasty one of which I had was a rum punch. how can you mess up rum punch? it tasted like medicine.
Nice bar, cool drag shows, not so great music
Such a cool spot with affordable drinks. The bartender is cute & sweet & the open mic on Tuesdays are dope. Def one of my new fave spots in Brooklyn.
Come On Everyone is a chill local spot. I didnt get the name at first. I never played those words games when I was a baby. Just pictures and stuff. Like colorful blocks and stuff. But the bar tender told me what it means. Its like, everybody needs to go somewhere together. And thats how I felt there. I felt like I was in my family. If it gets late, dont worry. Theyll let you plug your iPod in and rock to what ever!
Cmon Everybody is a great spot to catch some local artists. A colorful venue with intimate size and great sound, Ive seen tiny bands and much larger sets have great shows here!
Was there tonight for the 2nd time for the monthly Everybody Everybody party which features 80s and 90s music. While the music and crowd was fun and friendly, the bartender nearest the front door with the open shirt and glasses was especially rude and hostile. I waited in her empty section of the bar for over 3 minutes (honestly, the duration of TLCs Creep) and she didnt acknowledge me as she cleaned glasses and busy-bodied behind the bar. I purposely leaned forward with money in my hand, a sure sign that Id like to order drinks. A new group of folks came up to the bar and without hesitation, the bartender started engaging them and taking their order. I started to head to the other end of the bar and the the bartender began berating me and tossing napkins about, apparently upset that I was gong to a different bartender who would actually acknowledge my existence and the money in my hand. Shameful, embarrassing outburst overshadowed what should have been a fun, carefree night out with friends.EDIT: In less than 24 hours after this incident, Eric, the owner of the bar, along with one of the DJs, sent very nice emails to apologize for the bartenders behavior. Based on the care and concern of their emails and the professional manner in which they are handling the situation, Im adding a star. Will definitely be returning this summer for more dancing!
Great venue. Sound was great & a great space. Security was kinda dumb, but one doesnt hire goons like that for their stellar wit & personality
Amazing place great vibes live music! Bar when you walk in back space with stage and side seating! Nice bar selection so go visit this Brooklyn gem!
Its one of the best bars and live music venues in the city. truly a place for everybody. good sound, inclusive, great programming, a delight on all accounts.
Kinda stress free night out. Live music. Beer not the most expensive. BUT... there was a minimum plastic card of $15. Not sure when it starts, but it was after my second drink?
First nightlife I’ve experienced after having moved to NYC, and it’s exactly what I was hoping for. Good atmosphere, small dance floor, and a nice seating area. Planning on coming back soon!
Enjoyed the Madonna Dance Party. Great DJs and scene overall 🌈
Love this bar. Great dance floor with a mix of live and dj music. Delic drinks, a lounge. Its everything I want in a local bar. I go dancing here at least once a week.
A very nice place with live music! The music and people are wonderful here! A pinball machine, a small concert venue, nice bar. All you’ll ever need!
As a brown man. Did not imagine a bar tender telling me how much to tip. Was ready to tip 25% but bar tender insisted we tip more….. maybe cuz I’m not from here. But I thought tip was personal.
I know saturday nights are crazy but there was no space to breathe. It says that place is good music was fantastic, I loved everything except drinks are just bad. Going back for sure.
I see a funny moms cum show there often and its great. Lots of jokes and some of the jokes are really funny. I often have a joke with the bartender, whos often super busy but takes her time to say hi to me even though I dont be drinking alcohol. Theres often a really obscure movie playing on the tv-- probably V.H.S.!!!
My favorite place to dance! Great events here.
Went with some friends for a night out and we had a blast at the dance party on Saturday. Would highly recommend as a place to take friends, have a drink, and dance!
I love cmon everybody its a dope scene, usually a cover.certain nights depending on the event,.but the drinks are cheap and usually the atmosphere is.always welcoming
I had a beautiful time. Cynthia Rose is a wonderful hostess. Great music by Rich Medina and more special guests. I had a wonderful time.
Five stars for the pretty good drinks and the good atmosphere. Minus one star for jacking up the amplification of the first band I saw so damn loud that the sound was distorted.
Great little music venue. Also heard trivia going on in the next room that sounded fun! And the bartender, Jamie, is fantastic!!
Great bar great service great shows. The comedy night I went to was likely the funniest thing Ive been to in years. Had such a great time
The venues dope cause the bar, dancefloor and seating area are all separated providing the freedom to move around to different vibes.
Spencer the dude!!! Is an awesome bartender. Friendly, personable, and a great dude. Cant wait to come back here. Spencer definitely made our night a fun one !!! MnM
Great drag shows! Essa Noche is the BEST!
A fun little neighborhood bar and space for local performers. Nice choice of beers, standard cocktails, friendly staff.
Great drinks and a really cool performance space in the back, have seen something different and fun every time Ive been
I went to their monday get together called the jelly i believe. Amazing energy! Definitely the place to check out for the musicaly inclined!
Sunday Funday is the only event Ive been to here but the staff is welcoming and the atmospheric brings relaxed vibes. Would definitely go back!!
At the end of the night I order from the bartender Christina 5 shots of mezcal for me and my friends. i got charged TWELVE DOLLARS for each Union Mezcal shot. TWELVE. i previously ordered the same mezcal with soda and was charged the same price, so were charged the same for one and two ounces? wow.
I attended one of the weekend parties while in town and had a great time! Friendly staff and attracts a young, fun crowd.
Really fun events. I went to the cruel midnights Taylor swift dance party and had an amazing time
Great bar, fun vibe, cool back space for shows.
The charm of the venue is Mr Muhammad. He treats patrons with respect and dignity. Thanks for a great evening.
Super inviting, warm venue, incredible shows, sensational drinks
A neat little place to check out some live music! Very intimate and great sound.
What a fun and exhilarating place! Lovely people, fun types, a great sound system and impromptu shows of high entertainment!
Great DJ good space but too many millenials that dont understand that dance is sacred and ritualistic.
Small spot to dance but i got a good dj and i loved it even tho it got really crowded
Small but great atmosphere. Drinks were average priced. DJ was great.
Great cocktails, great crowd, good prices. A nice smallish venue for awesome concerts
Nice venue for private and public functions. Cool layout and well stocked bar.

Love love and more love for this place. A fun and safe concert venue
Good times, good music. Its a retro bar but retro from what era? Is it 70s? Is it speakeasy?
Cool venue. Shows start a little early, but its very nice.

Great spot for drinks with a small space to show art
Played some Fortnite at Matts place. Kinda hard to control the characters, no? I suppose I should play more for the full scope of game play right, Matt?
The customers in place does not respect the neighborhood extremely loud very rude.
Great DJs especially when rich Medina comes into town
