Pumps has a great atmosphere. I enjoyed drinking and the lovely ladies there.I fell in love with this one bartender Emma. A total 10/10. She took care of me and made me feel special shes divine. I’m going back just to see her again and grab a drink after work

Girls are super hot, and they have all different types. No cover. You tip each girl a dollar when shes dancing on the stage. There is no expensive bottle or room service, just dances and drinks. Very laid back experience.

First time going to this bar yesterday if you’re thinking about going one word DONT The strippers don’t know how to dance Seems like they hire anybody if you sit at the bar every half a second they’re asking for a dollar/tip Because you see their breast (topless bar ) It’s not just one of them asking they form a line lol asking for tips .I spent more on tips than I did on dances it’s $30 a lab dance but the stripper will tell you 40 so they can keep the extra 10 and if they do tell you 30 after the dance, they’ll ask you to tip them. This is my first time in any “adult entertainment” establishment and this is a good one to start if you’ve never been to one. Drinks aren’t too expensive, it’s small and the women are pretty. Mariah, the white and Mexican one, is my favorite. Just don’t be afraid to politely tell the dancers you aren’t interested if you don’t want to be hounded. Great place overall.

Aggressive dancers when you are focusing on someone else. There’s no accountability also is disrespectful. Also is disrespectful.

Its a not of a bad club as I see the other reviews. The club is in a industrial warehouse-ish area so its unique from the typical strip clubs that are on a side street a few feet away from the usually high populated areas. The cover is free. The only thing you have to go through is the typical security ID verification to make sure that you are legally allowed to go to the club, they use a machine to verify the id is not fake. There is no coat check. The security pat you down to make sure you have no weapons. There is a mandatory drink buy, just ask the bartender the cheapest drink there and they will take any type of payment such as cash and credit/debit card(with the fees). If you dont want to drink, just ask the bartender to give it to one of the dancers just make sure that you buy the drink. The dancers are beautiful. Just like any other strip club in the city, you will have your variables of the strippers. The dances are $20 for a 4 minute dance(they have a big sign telling you that next to the semi private room). The club makes you pay for the dance before you get the dance(cash or credit card). They have a change machine so you can take those $20s and turn it to 1(bartender does it). Its a narrow club. It depends on how you make it the time you go to the club. Its all about having a great time. Thanks.

5/5 for hotness of the girls. 0/5 for the customer experience. I cannot believe this place is allowed to stay open. You need to tip like once every two minutes otherwise the strippers yell at you and become super aggro. This business model promotes a very entitled and disrespectful attitude amongst the strippers… fellas save your money

This place is ok, but I probably wont be back. All the girls hustle you to buy them $20 Champagne which is actually a half of a $4 bottle of wine cooler. Its super obnoxious. Im already spending money at the bar and tipping all the girls. The bartenders dont even pretend to hide this. One girl even ordered one of these to my tab without my consent. I got her first one, and then she ordered a 2nd without my consent. Then after I already paid her for a dance she tells me its a $20 MANDATORY tip for her. Another dancer was straight up rude & nasty to me during her champagne hustle. I spent a decent amount of money the two times Ive been here. Based on the way I was treated here by the girls, I dont think Ill be back. Id rather spend my money on a club that doesnt make me feel like a rube being scammed at a carnival.

Went durning the day with a buddy and we had a great time. it wasn’t too busy so space to move, can imagine it get crowded later in the evening. The girls dancing were attractive but not what you would expect from a top end strip club which was fine. Free entry into the club, three poles behind the bar area, girls rotate and ask you to tip after every dance. Private dances are not topless but wasn’t an issue with me.Be prepared to tip all the girls and bar staff. Spent time with Amy and she was great company, she reminded me of the dark haired girl from the Marilyn Manson’s video, Tainted Love! She was a great dancer.There was a good mix of girls from Latino through to Afro American. Be prepared to burn through the cash on tips and you will have a good time

Do not waste your money!! Firstly, Not a strip club. Private dances are all fully clothed, so know what to expect. The dancers stare at themselves in the mirrors with their backs to you.i have visited from out of state twice, horrible experience both times. The dancers are pushy, ungrateful and deceitful. I have money and generally tip well wherever I go. But these woman are disgusting people. Bar tenders are very rude and deceitful as well. I spoke with a manager and he made things right with me this evening, but I will never go back. Plenty of better spots guys if you are decent and not a total creep!!

Went here with my friend. Her and I got asked for tips from the dancers as soon as we ordered drinks. Got a tip for me? The thirst was CRAZY!!! made me very uncomfortable.

I went to this “strip club” and I have to say from experience this club is a 1 star if not 0 at best. I came here after work just to enjoy myself and I was disappointed, the prices are overpriced and the girls barely know how to dance. This place has it all: water bottles, an ATM, and dour bouncers that could protect the queen if she had not recently died. The bar: ask for the secret menu!!! Also the girls will tell you their real names if you ask to the tune of a Queen song; its policy. Ask everyone to explain their tattoos. Bonne danse!!

I have been coming to this bar for quite some time now with my buddy and we love the place. The staff is always friendly, the bar tenders are always perky, and I absolutly love the dancers. they are energetic, gorgeous, always friendly, and never bossy like dancers from other places. This is by far the best club I been to in years I feel right at home when I walk into here.

Was not impressed. 2 out of the 10 or more girls dancing were attractive, hell one almost fell off the pole. Songs were mostly ones they couldnt dance to. The burlesque shows in the East village is way sexier than this place. Good for a laugh though.

Worst place Ive ever been to. Even after tipping the dancers (which I wouldve done no matter what), was not able to receive service in order to buy a drink. I waited over 30 minutes until I gave up. It wasnt very busy the night we visited. Many people were able to be waited on multiple times without me being even acknowledged. Only reason I was able to get a drink was because someone else bought it for me. Not female-guest friendly in any way. Highly advise any woman to choose a different establishment.

Its an excellent place to drink a beer and look at a few boobs from a diverse selection of women. However, its not a full on strip club experience if thats what youre looking for.Also, the lighting and the layout could be better.

Dive Bar meets Strip Club. No cover, but you are expected to have a drink at all times and it isn’t the most welcoming place. Thankfully you have some genuinely nice dancers to make up for the occasionally rude bouncers.

This was a hugh joke. A buddy and I was in town and thought we would stop in and see whats happening. The dancers were behind the bar and the was a 3 foot wide stage for them to dance on if thats what they call it here. None of the girls asked my bushi or my self if we wanted a dance or a drink. The owner came up after we haff been there 30 minutes or less and told us wer need to approach his girls. Hahahahahaha. This is really just a rejected biker bar. There was 2 other customers there as well. WILL NEVER ATTEND THIS PLACE AGAIN. Hope wer have better luck tonight.

I had an extremely negative experience my first and only time in Pumps 1/12/2017. I handed the blonde bartender a 50 asking for change (so that I could tip the girls) She handed me back 25 bucks and said lets do shots. I said thanks but no thanks please give me 45 and keep 5 bucks for yourself. She 100% heard me, I couldnt be more certain that she heard me...I repeated. I dont know if she thought I was drunk or what but she kept insisting the shots, I kindly refused. She said well I cant refund them because I already rang them in. I grabbed my stuff and left. I will never return as long as she is working there. it was a terribly disappointing experience.

Pretty trashy place. Girls dance behind the bar so there is no real interaction. They beg for money every 30 seconds. Bartender has a bad attitude.

The last, real strip club in NYC, Pumps is legendary. I discovered it with my friends when they lived in Bushwick and every now and then well go. Hands down best strip club in town!
