Atmosphere was alright. Security guard wouldnt give me my spray back, even though I was peaceful.
Cool place, but the coat check is slow and also are the bartenders. The space distribution and different rooms are great !
Great, GREAT space! The vibes are immaculate and drinks are strong. Honestly, the owner needs to promote a little more, and this could be THE gay space of Brooklyn! Def will be coming back!THIS POST WAS NOT SPONSORED…. but if y’all are looking for a brand ambassador… hit me up😚
I honestly think the cover charge is unnecessary, the hookah is over price i felt like the city bars is cheaper than going here. First and last.
The owner needs to promote this place a lot better. There should be a separate Instagram page for the Brooklyn location as it can be difficult to notice which event goes with which location. We had a pretty nice time, the cups drinks were served in were really cheap, but maybe they changed that by now. Cover was expensive and not worth the entertainment inside. I suggest investing in better promotion so you can draw bigger crowds to lower the cover, especially since the club is far in the middle of an industrial area. People want the travel to be worth it.
Showed up with a small group of girls.. the white girl was charged half price at the door. So this is not the place for black girls. Got it. And people were fighting in the back. Tired.
Been waiting SO LONG for an all the time black queer space and Lambda absolutely delivers!!! Especially the BK location! Tons of space, beautiful ambiance, great music, cheap (but strong) drinks. Thank you to the owners for paying attention to detail and making this such an amazing safe space for black/ brown LGBTQ people!
Definitely will be back! Great music, fun crowd, queer and black which is awesome and refreshing! Highly suggest, its around the corner from the gas station if you get lost initally!
There is a cover 10$ after 12 am. It seemed wack af at first but by 1 am it was packed af. I was digging the crowd . You can smoke hookah and weed in there. I liked it and willbe back. drinks are lilke 16$ each
I LOVE the spot…. I love the location, i love that it’s black owned and queer… but they need new DJs with a fresh ear to CURRENT music. I believe with new DJs this venue has the potential to be a destination. People aren’t coming because they know the same DJs at EVERY function is going to be there…. That’s not good!
Im a black architect. This place is a death trap. The exits are poorly designed and security company is ignorant of safety protocol. There is no way people will survive in a fire or shooting emergency if they are in the basement. Its unfortunate because I wanted this place to succeed.
I went with a friend of mine for the first time and it was really lit but couldnt stay for too long but we decided we were going to come the next night so we could enjoy the full experience. The next night we got there about 12:45 am only for security to tell us that theyre closed when obviously we saw ppl in there and they were listed as open on the website. It was unfortunate that we our time and car fare to come from so far to be turned away. Im not sure if well be coming back. Sorry
Horrible service from the bar staff and the girl at the door was NOT happy at all!! Was excited to visit this black owned establishment but was horribly disappointed!! Guess this place is one for the young young crowd who doesnt care about proper service. IDK..but will never go back.
The vibe was lit lit lit!!! And the music was great. And the crowd was a great mix of people. They have like 3 dance floors
Always an amazing time... Sonya works the front door and she is so amazing, she is the party before you get into the party
Black owned queer spot in Brooklyn! Lovely staff. Dope venue with decent traffic flow.
Typical black gay club. The first time being in a gay club and the DJ was horrible (for their deviant event). Idk what kind of DJ that was.
Really nice space. Not a lot of people
Great atmosphere and great music
