Came here for Victor Ruiz. Ticket price was a steal. Everyone in the lineup had a moving set.Excellent sound, free water, space to dance, the lounge spaces were open to everyone for this event. Near the subway. I appreciate club owners who consider all of these things.
An absolutely amazing venue! SILO is in a converted hangar and has an amazing lighting and sound system. I love that the bathroom is not gendered and allows both men and women to use the individual stalls without ridiculous lines forming. The bar accepts cash as well as all major credit cards, including American Express. You may have issues with your WiFi signal inside the venue but they do have a guest WiFi that you can sign on to. I attended the Locnificent Fest 5.0 - For The Culture event at the venue and it was simply amazing. The loc hair show was breathtaking and the food was divine!!! SILO is definitely the place to be in Brooklyn!❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
Silo hosts unreal underground parties! Ive experienced both Drumcell and Claude VonStrokes mind-blowing events there to name a few. The effortless entry, electric vibes inside, and major props for the freebies, including a free water station! Each party kept the energy soaring. Silo ensures safety without killing the underground vibe. Stellar lineup, reasonable entry fee --Silos the ultimate spot for top-notch underground bashes!
Came here for an event and got a drink from the happy hour menu. Tipped 20% on the drink (on their ipad) not realizing that they had an automatic 15% gratuity on the bill, meaning I had tipped 20% on the drink, tax, and tip together. Beware of tipping scams people.Edit: Changed to 5 stars due to prompt and satisfactory resolution of the issue
A Friday Night trip from Philly to NYC for my birthday. I decided to check this club out. Nestled in 90 Scott. Good vibes with a more mature crowd. The venue is spacey. Nice energy! 2 bars and places to sit. Sound was ok. Fast entrance. Overall, good time. No complaints! Beware time goes fast in this place!
Honestly one of the best venues, if not THEE best one. Tickets are never too pricey, lines go pretty quick, FREEEEEE WATERRRR, spacious but not too big, never overcrowded to the point where you cannot breathe, sound system is incredible, lights and visuals are fun, and overall the vibes are always on point here. My *only* complaint is DO MORE HARD TECHNO AND DNB EVENTS ILY😂😂😂 🫶🏻
Honestly the best club in the world. and i have the room to speak on this. the sound system and lighting and staff and arial work and art and bookings and security are some of the best in the world and every time i come, they unbelievably, exponentially get BETTER! this is home. you are ALWAYS safe here. i trust these people with my life.
I’ve been to Silo a handful of times now and never had a bad experience. Each time it could be set up differently depending on what’s going on that night. It’s a fun way to subvert your expectations each time you attend. Sound quality is great and projection mapping is always fun. Drink prices aren’t bad but I’d still pregame a dive prior.
Just saw Riordan here, awesome venue they do everything right! Echoing the prior review, I appreciate club owners who consider all of the little things. I will certainly be back soon.
My friends and I had such a blast dancing here. Pretty intimate venue but very nice. It was the perfect amount of space for the crowd that night. I believe the divider can be removed to open up the room for higher capacity shows as well.It has a brighter, more spacey and chill atmosphere than some other dance clubs in the area. Not as intense which is great because you can easily bring your friends who are maybe more casual fans of edm / techno. This is definitely on my radar now when browsing Dice / RA. Would happily see a DJ I liked here again.
One of my favorite venues ! On the smaller side but love the atmosphere and the crowd usually has 360 access to the DJs as they play on floor
I want to shout out the security here - they responded so quickly to a patron in need (like literally the fastest I have ever seen at a bar or club) and knew exactly what to do. Also a bunch of them and the bar had Narcan. I would feel super safe coming back here and I felt the need to post this so other people know too!!
One of my fav spots in nyc, not only do they bring great talent but somehow the crowds are always super fun and just a great vibe. They also support the local underground scene.
Loved it all!!!! Accept for the dark skin guy at the bathroom. He gave almost every woman on the bathroom line a hard time. He kept holding his head and flipping out. He allowed 3 women to go into the bathroom together and they stood in there for like 20 mins. When it was my turn I needed to unzip my shirt and he wouldnt allow my bestfriend to assist me. She was so upset she felt discriminated because he treated her like a man (yes shes a stud lesbain) and was being aggressive for no reason. Again he can allow 3 women to fool around in the bathroom but not allow someone to assist me with the zipper on my shirt? The way he was acting....tell him to lay off the drugs.
What a great venue! I went this weekend with a group of friends we had an amazing time! The music was great, the sound was excellent and the lighting was beautiful. It all felt organized and clean. The drinks were perfect! We had vodka sodas and tequila and it all tasted great! The bartenders were nice and helpful! The bathrooms were clean. The club felt spacious, easy to breathe and navigate. We danced all night and cant wait to go back!! Thanks SILO!!
Really enjoyed the venue. It gave me output vibes and had good energy. Will be attending again in the future.
I absolutely love this venue. The visuals are good and sound is amazing! There never seems to be long bathroom lines and they have water at the end of the back bar where you can serve yourself. I highly recommend it
I did go back on my next visit to NYC in October 2023. The venue gets better and better. Some reviewers commented on not quite enough bass initially, and Silo added more subwoofers and brought their ginormous subwoofers out from under the stage. You definitely feel the bass inside your body now. I have no idea how some people were able to dance that close to the subwoofers. One thing I particularly like with the venue is they have the lighting effects of the top venues, way beyond what you expect in a venue for 500+ people. Their sound system is elite, and their lighting special effects and video put them over the top. And now lasers!! It is easy to see why to DJs choose Silo for their performances.I attended a show at the end of March 2023. The venue is in a converted aircraft hangar, and even when full, did not feel crowded in the voluminous space. DJ Natasha Diggs was joined by Soul In The Horn for a night of deep, soulful house and horn-infused treats. There was a cameo appearance by Robin S. It was loud. The sound is outstanding, with bass that you feel. The lights and visuals were amazing, definitely sized for a larger venue. The DJ is in the middle, providing a high energy vibe.I had some of the best drinks I have had in NYC. They have five house cocktails (the four (I was also there another night) I had were all excellent) and top-shelf liquors are available. Will definitely be back on my next visit to NYC. Check their calendar as they much more variety in their shows than most venues. Everything from Fred Again to diverse, local talent.
Silo is a dope venue with plenty of production, great sound and vibe. DJ in the center instead of on stage. Free water. Bathroom good and quick. Will be back
So rude, after spending so much money, the racist bouncer kicked me off because he thought I was not matching vibe due to race incredibly bigoted in this era but, sorry cant recommend. But good for you I guessEdit: Wow! I was almost about to remove my review after calming down but now i see you are creating fake allegation for appearances . let me add something that did happen Your guy threatening me to tip $100 which i refused.
5/5Got ac so you can cool downSound system and lighting production is good for the location. Regular NYC drink prices. Just wish it was a little darker.Intimate crowd similar to boiler room, it should stay like that forever in my opinion. No dj on the stage. Staff are respectful and help you with anything you need. What else could u ask for in a venue. Mostly house music but i guess they have days where they play diff genres. Give it a visit
Great venue, air conditioning is solid, the audio is great not too loud, and free water being handed out self serve at bar.Only down side (in winter I guess) coat check line is very slow. I think it took almost an hour. There was a lot of people on line and only two staffed. They were working hard but more staff needed for sure.Seems like a place with good vibes, so only bring good vibes so we can keep good venues like this going!
Some people have a neighborhood bar that they drop in on all the time and where everyone knows their name. SILO is my neighborhood nightclub. In the year that I’ve been stepping in, I’ve enjoyed many blissful nights of good music and vibes from both big name and local DJs and producers. The venue itself keeps getting better over time - the attention to detail in the physical space, as well as in the audio and visual production, is noticeable. And maybe it’s me, but the staff across the board is exceptionally personable. These things matter to event-goers like me.Also, if you’re on the way to another event in the area, SILO is a great first stop for drinks and loosening up. It’s also great for afters - it’s my default stop after Avant Gardner, when I’m not yet ready to call it a night. I feel lucky to have SILO in my life. 🫶🫰
Huge venue that you would never realize from the outside. I hope the managers and staff read this, the staff is truly so pleasant and accommodating! Even most of the Security were very kind and respectful, when there was a concern they spoke gently instead of yelling or being aggressive(if you know, a lot of security in general are rude). I had a great time at the event while feeling respected and safe. Y’all are doing great!
This place is all over the place. People have no clue about set times. When I ask about it to the woman at the entrance, she was so arrogant, dismissive and rude. İt s shame that underground music scene is filled with this kind of service. I think artists like Machinedrum deserves better. Dont recommendEdits : Thanks for quick response. Review is not really about not being able to get info. Maybe I should be more specific about this; I didnt write this with anger or anything. We are all group of audio visual artists from all over the world, who are passionate about this kind music and it is baffling to see this kind of attitude. I think your employees need to relax. They shouldnt casually call people babe or anything like that while conversing. This is technically considered as sexual abuse. This is just an honest review about attitude. If they wont be able to provide info and behave, you could have put set times somewhere online maybe ? no need to blame your customers. peace
Love it here! Especially the staff Daniel’s the best bartender around always feels like home and the new sound improvements stepped it up so many notches.
Could have had one more bartender but overall a decent space
Had a complete blast at Silo for both the Francois K and Joy Anonymous shows. The sound is amazing, the bartenders friendly, and the drinks strong and delicious. I also appreciate that the ventilation is good so I didnt end up a disgusting, sweaty mess despite dancing all night long. I cant wait for the next show!
Was excited to check out a new venue in my neighborhood. This place is more of a “live event” venue versus a “dance club.” It feels a little disingenuous, corporate and ‘put on.’ The venue security were aggressive and a little strange — from the entry check point to the bathroom attendant to the smoking section security. There were multiple people with cameras recording attendants. It was very difficult to feel relaxed. Sadly I would not return for any kind of dance event.
Solid club. Came for Vegyn, tickets were sold out and capacity was just right. Main dance floor was full but first room had space to chill out. Simple venue but well thought out, would return for sure.
Rude bartender tried to charge us $20 each for shots, when we had JUST paid $10 in the other room! Then had the nerve to catch an attitude when we pointed this out! And snapped “THEN GO TO THE OTHER BAR!” Come to find out their system is broken and is automatically charging 100% gratuity for some transactions! Very nasty to try and scam us out of our money like that!
The music here is hands down some of the best I’ve heard in all of Brooklyn. I love house and this is going to be one of my top spots going forward. The only downside is that the dance floor gets a little crowded because it’s so popular—even on its first night. 11/10. Absolutely recommend.
Atmospheric space but yet still intimate vibe. Sound system is great and not too harsh. They had the DJ booth on the dance floor and it felt more connected than venues of similar size. Would blast off from here again.
Been a few times and the vibes have been great every time. Great nonjudgemental spot with great music, good soundsystem, entertainment and fairly priced. Have noticed the extremely friendly staff as well. Thanks for putting together such a safe and welcoming spot.
Had an amazing experience at this club! Was giving underground rave or Boiler Room, for sure. Good vibes. Mid August and the A/C was FLOWINGGGGGGG huge plus. Highly recommend.
10/10. Im a UK House Music freak and had my first House-club-experience way back in the early 90s. I was in NY for 4 nights (travelling from The UK) and booked tickets to see The Mighty Todd Terry and 2 supporting DJs. It was a truly great night, the sound, the vibe, the people. Honestly the best night Ive had in several years. Have to say that Kilopatrah Jones and Byron the Aquarius were both unbelievably good, I did NOT expect such a high level of musical awareness (track selection, crowd control, mixing competence & PASSION) from these 2 splendid people. Obviously Todd kicked it like we expected.I wish this venue ALL THE BEST in the future.Thank You for showing me that House Music still has a home in Brooklyn, NY.
Really loved the vibe here! The staff was super nice and welcoming unlike a lot of clubs in NYC. Cocktails are also above par for a nightclub which I always appreciate. The party last weekend was really good energy and I especially loved the opening DJ, I think her name was YONIT. I love that they have a lot of female dj’s on the lineup.
An amazing new space, the sound and lighting is out of this world and the staff from the security to the bartenders were in good spirits. I had so much fun I forgot my jacket and lost&found got it back to me the next week. Ty & Will be back!!
My experience at SILO was deeply unsatisfactory due to the loss of my jacket at the coat check service. The lack of a proper response from the staff has left a lasting negative impression. I recommend others to exercise caution when using this service.
Security refused to let me in while insisting my ID is fake. It is very not fake. Gross behavior on their part for not doing their job correctly. If you arent capable of identifying a PA drivers license, get another job.
Incredible sound, highly curated artist, tasty drinks that dont break the bank, and a spacious dance floor are only a few of the reason Silo is well on its way to being the newest spot in brookly. Come see for yourself and decide if Silo is the vibe for you!Edit: By now Silo is established as one of THE spots to party in NYC. Come by for iconic artists and one of the best dance floors in the city.
Well air-conditioned, queer-friendly, good dj
It was standing room only, very minimal seating is at all, staff and crowd were diverse and respectful of everyones space, didnt like the DJ, music was strictly techno all night, the show of dancers dangling from the ceiling was good and fun to watch. Wear sneakers.
I saw Blacklauren, Orphx and Kangding Ray last night (April 1 2023). The layout and sound were excellent. Everyone working at the club was polite and helpful. My wife owns a sustainable store in the East Village I told her I went to my first carbon neutral club. She was amazed, I may finally get her to a techno show. This may sound a bit silly but the easy access to water with out bottles really got my attention.
Space and sound is good. But oh boy people are rude. arrogant and entitled genzs may give you attitude at the door. nobody would go to a spot more than once, if they pay and get treated like this on top of it. no no
Unique and beautiful club with amazing 4-point sound (Danley Sound Labs), both international and local artists booked, and provides a safe space for dancing. Its everything the NYC underground music scene needs today.
Went on a Saturday, venue looked good, music sucked
This Sunday, got to the venue at 11:20, and doors opened at 11:00, after three hours in line, and after probably moving forward only 10 feet, we had to go home. An absolute disrespect to our time. Do better.
First timer. I figure its a venue for rental so, the building is nice, I like the setting. Was there for the Nigerian Independence celebrations, that was lit!!😍🔥🔥
Whoever stole my brick lighter just know a spell has been cast upon you and none of your family will survive
Great place, decent price drinks and parking. BK only place to party in NYC area!
I love SiloIll go to party evertytime when I can
So great to see a place like this open in Bushwick! It was a pleasant surprise. We came here last weekend to support our DJ friends Sleepy and Boo, had a great time!
Doors were at 11. Left us outside for 2 hours. Most disorganized venue Ive ever been at. Trash place. Trash venue. 1/10 would not recommend
Very nice aesthetics, cool location but the sound system is tinny and not that great for a place that promises to be a good club - investing in sound would seem a priority
Big space for events , expensive drinks
Karen says this is a MISS. Been in line for 2 hours to see a nobody… why I do this to myself.. only god knows. Doorman at least looks like Adam Levine so you got some eye candy while you wait
Got my phone stolen here and when I tried to report it to the club management they never responded to me. I told them they should do something to make sure this never happens again but no response… they saw my multiple messages on instagram about how my phone was stolen at their venue, and no response. Overall, a bad experience.
Perfect space for a party. Drinks were good, music was 🔥
GREAT sound, amazing vibe. All the staff is super friendly & attentive -- security included!🥰🎶💃🏾
Amazing new venue - great sound, right volume, great drinks, really cool artistic interior. Bravo SILO!
Great sounds system, very welcoming crowd, theatre in the round.
This is a great space I hope to see more parties enjoy this space without you over-pricing the people doing the event.
Sound system is nice and vibes are good.
Friendly staff, SICK sound system, and definitely try the botanical negroni (it’s delicious)
This is worst club I ever been the music it sucksI don’t recommend anyone going to this clubBy the way to bouncer, it’s rude and the service is the worst place I ever been.
Terrible experience. sketchy crowd, and my friend got his phone stolen… from the reviews seems like it’s a common occurrence
This place is amazing, good crowd, nice staff, airy main room. Excited to come again!
Great sound system. Friendly staff. The best security team in the area.
Wow you’ve a lot of restrooms
Literally obsessed, best club ever 69/5 stars. Nyc has been in deep need of a club like this.
Loved it, dope spot!
Daniel was a super friendly and accommodating bartender. Great night at Silo
Solid vibes. Don’t check your coat unless you want to wait 45 minutes to get it back when you try to leave.
Terrible!!! The staff was so rude and disrespectful towards me and my group. Would not recommend at all
Amazing venue! Would go again
Part of Party Party fun spot with friends and others drinks are ok
I went to open deck parties
Immersive, ethereal, transformative techno/house/electro terrarium for sentient beings and cyborgs 🤖
Proper warehouse rave and subwoofers to dance all night to
Awesome environment, dope bartender and dope music

Best bar in Brooklyn. Total vibes
Clean good vibes well put together
Literally the best time youll ever have at a club.
Bartender is fantastic and atmosphere is unreal
Cool atmosphere
Nice
The best thing to happen to NYC nightlife in recent memory
It was a vibe until they let in too many musty men
Weird vibes but good show
Daniel a great bartender. SILO IS THE PLACE TO BE!
Bouncers are extremely unprofessional and rude
Very spacious and clean.
SERVICE IS AMAZING! What an amazing space !
It was great
Fantasic and well thought out space!!
Not enough bouncers
Good vibes, good times!
Silo is dope
Amazing club 🔥🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
Meh.
Fire
Intimate venue.
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Security here was atrociousThey kept insisting that my ID was fake. There was nothing I could do to prove it was real obviously so they refused to let me in and I, an adult with very real ID, had my Saturday night ruined. They suck.Edit: My ID was real and them responding no it wasnt doesnt make it less real. I also DID have a credit card with my name and they said it wasnt good enough.
Im passionate about clubs with house music. Your venue looks fantastic! I will take this opportunity to come and dance with you starting from Italy!
Good atmosphere
