Bouncer wont allow re-entry to certain patrons...As you can see from the attached photo, the club is not at capacity, as the allotted capacity to this music venue is nowhere near reached.Therefore a stamped, ID checked, previously entered, sober customer, is unable to reenter, under false reasoning.Good luck

My favorite Lamb Kebab Dinner in all of greater Boston was here. tender, marinated and nice clean rice pilaf and Greek Salad. Time it right and an eclectic array of after dinner talent shows up.

I was there for a quick drink. The place was beautifully designed representing middle east-ish places. I bet there were lots of beautiful memories of the photos on the wall.Outdoor seat were available in the summer time in Boston. I would like to test the food there soon.

Same experience with bouncers questioning the validity of IDs— after traveling far to specifically go to their shows they consistently turn down valid IDs at the door for undisclosed reasons.Zuzu/middle east are not places that underage people try to frequent. The crowd is usually well into their 30s&40s. I prefer that crowd over others since I like underground dance and music. Being over 21, this is only a case of ageism that arises from the stress of getting fined by the city and laziness. To avoid that stress, I would recommend learning how to tell a fake from a real ID in an age where travel is ubiquitous and coming across IDs from other states is common. I am a relatively frequent patron but the bouncer who looks like a pirate acts like border control (very un-pirate of him). The pirate didn’t even ask me if I had another form of ID, he just made sure me and my friend did not get into the show we have been meaning to see all week. There was no disrespect on our part, they were just being weird for no reason.If they are so concerned with IDs being valid, they need to buy a scanner. Or be explicit in which types of IDs they accept or do not accept. Put it on their website if I need to bring a passport, but don’t tell me they can’t accept my valid ID and not give a reason why. Terrible energy from the door on this occasion. I’ll be back obviously but hope that one door manager retires, he needs a rest.

Great place to catch up with friends, friendly and mostly quiet atmosphere until it switches over to a club after 10pm on Fridays and weekends. Food is okay but nothing worth writing home about. If you like cocktails, do try the Dutch raspberry lemonade!

Celebrated my husband’s 40th birthday with friends and family - Nabil was the best - he ensured everything went as planned - the food was phenomenal and so was the staff - great venue!!

Super laid back diner and club with many vegetarian and vegan options, delicious food. We had live music on Saturday! On picture fried green tomatoes.

Really enjoyed the roll up falafel here. The service is good, price is cheap and food is good. They do have belly dancing show on Sundays if you are into that. Overall good experience. Highly recommended.

Attended a Jazz jam session. The place is very small, bench type seats, probably 35 patrons about half standing room only. If youre a college student probably just fine. Music was very good....Berkley folks.

The bouncer was so incredibly rude and wanted to confiscate me and my friend’s ID even though we are both 22/23, just because we are from florida.

Didnt have any food. But the drinks and service were great. The event that night was fun. Want to come back and play more retro video games.

What a cool place. Must try if you are in Boston. It has a Bazaar like feel with multiple functions/businesses in one building. Lots of young people around. We had some great kabobs, humus and tabouli

Its a small but nice club. I enjoyed the DJ who was hosting with House music for the evening. It was an energetic atmosphere and the positive energy was infectious!

This place is interesting. The food is pretty good. I had steak and it was very good. Surprisingly not many middle eastern dishes on the menu. Desserts are also good. Most interestingly, they set up a dance floor late at night. So its an interesting place to have dinner and spend some good time.

Was here for a club night it did not disappoint we had the best time. Great music and crowd would love to go back next tuesday for sure.

My daughter Randi and I, came here for a bite to eat, after visiting a niece at Brigham & Womens.. Not only was the food delicious, but the owner, his wife and their daughter were unbelievably welcoming and nice! They came over to our table, not once, but a few times to make sure we were happy with our meal, and our visit!. After our meal, the owner, brought the most DELICIOUS baklava, AND chocolate baklava to our table.. on the house! I have never tasted chocolate baklava before, and it was OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!!What a wonderful experience we had! Thank You, for the food, and for making us feel at home! We definitely want to come back ❤❤❤

Usually when Im in here its for Soulelujah soul night on Saturdays, but this time I went for dinner with a friend and was reminded of how good the food is! The sampler platters are definitely the way to go, with generous helpings of multiple small dishes that are perfect for sharing. They also had Lebanese beers in the bottle, which are light and easy to wash it all down with.

Party of four just passing through Cambridge/Boston. Saw this place on Google and wanted to try it. Food was impeccable. Loads of vegetarian and even vegan options. Our server, Kathy is extremely friendly and likeable. I would come back just for her. 5/5. Wish I could give 6/5 tbh. Have never been this pleased with a restaurant I found on Google. The atmosphere was great. Not too many people. Not empty either. Its 7pm on a Thursday night though. But we were going to go to the Little Donkey, and they were completely packed. So we came here. So glad we did!! The food came extremely quickly; I was surprised. You have to try their vegan baklava!! Ive never had better baklava. So good.

Bought 2 well shots of rum, came out to $18 pre-tip. Bar atmosphere and crowd were very low energy, definitely not worth that amount just to be hanging out there. Wouldnt go again

Been going here about a year. The staff is wicked friendly and the atmosphere is awesome. Friends always want to know why I live in Cambridge instead of Boston... Its funky little places like this. Awesome food, fun drinks and even better atmosphere. Every night is a different crowd of interesting people. Love it here!

I wouldn’t come here for nightlife. Bouncers didn’t let me in cause my ID didn’t exactly match the photo they have in some arcane book they keep in the bar. I asked them to scan it but they didn’t have a scanner. I’m about to turn 25. Pretty ridiculous. Looking at other reviews, this has happened to other people as well.

Food was delicious! We has the pupu meat platter and although the price felt a bit high, the food was good. The baba ghanoush was missing something, but all other dishes on the platter were full of flavor. The naan as well was fresh and crisped beautifully and the hummus and tabbouleh was particularly flavorful! When we walked in it was a little on the busy side and so our server was very much all over the place.

Great location for brunch. From great Jumbo Bloody Marys to unique food options this is a must for foodies. My two favorites are the Kathy Bates, which is waffles topped with fried green tomatoes, and the Chicken & Waffles. This is also a great location for late night eats as well.

Food was OK. I was very happy with my chicken and waffles, but none of my companions were blown away by their dishes. Service was very slow, and one of our glasses had lipstick stains on it (none of us were wearing lipstick).

It was a full of interesting people who gave of a good vibe. Also service was fast, tending towards rushed. They also seemed to be trying to be helpful, unlike some wait staff that choose to act like arbiters of etiquette. They were eight empty seats near the window but the host/bartender said we had to wait - I assume he had a reason. They made good home fries otherwise the food and drunk was bad; the bloody Mary was icy and tasted of celery salt, the hard fried eggs were soft and runny, the corned beef hash was a bland mush, the bacon was unevenly cooked and the toast. The concept of toast is that you have a warm piece of bread, you apply butter and it melts. Otherwise, you dont have toast you have stale bread.

Cozy! Great music DJ Dabu is so creative! I love his set, awesome personality. Good size dance floor, where you can have a drink and express yourself through dancing without being judged. Vj knows her stuff, nice effects! I met some amazing sociable people of all ages. Good energy!

Good food, and amazing portions for brunch. Its a really nice place to go if you are in the mood for leisurely brunch with unlimited coffee refills and no one waiting in line making you feel like you should hurry. The Huevos Rancheros is my go-to!

Fun music on a Thursday night. DJ Catalyst blew it away. Hope to see him there again!

We had an amazing dinner here, with the plate to share Zuzu, with a mix of different classes of humus, salad, lamp and cheese spinach baked goods, chicken and rice. Super tasty! and fast and nice...

Warm, cozy atmosphere.. Varied menu selections, good portions, comfort food. Try the guiness braised leg of lamb!! Deeeelish! Moderately priced. Nice selection of mixed drinks. Awesome service, of course.👍👍👍

Came on a Friday when the cover was $5 but ladies got in free so wooo. Had to go find my friends friend because my friend didnt have cash...but by the time I found him they decided to let him in because he looked sad :)Fun time, good music. Weird that there is a wall of mirrors...but oh well, people loved to dance in front of it with friends!I had the jalapeno margarita (of course) and it was strong, spicy and super salty on the rim. Ususally I go around and get all the salt by the end of the drink but there was no need for that because of how much there was for one sip!

Its not the fanciest food but the price and quality in Cambridge is hard to beat. The fries are hot and the beer is cold. What more can you ask for?

This is a hidden brunch gem, which is surprising because everyone I know at MIT knows of this place. We were turned off by the ridiculous wait at veggie galaxy for Sunday brunch, came here to no wait, and a delicious, vegetarian brunch selection.

Soullelujah should be a lot of fun except their sound systems suck both downstairs and upstairs. Really unclear tone that leaves you unable to hear music well and too loud to make conversation. Could get much better visiting DJs w upgraded system.

Very good, home cooking style, lebanese food. In addition to the lebanese food, the menu lists burgers. Zuzu (assuming is short for ziad?) is worth the visit, service is cordial, and it is cozy.

Elegant. It is not. But the hummus, lentil soup, lamb kebab and baklava were delicious. Only downside, limited selection of bourbon.

Went here for a show last night and the interior was very unique. Bartenders and staff are friendly too, a fun place to go out to and dance with some friends!

Despite a strange five dollar cover, Zuzus has never let me down. They may not always have the best DJ, but the people they attract are always cool.
