I was having a tough time going through a difficult situation so I decided I needed a new haircut. I selected Spa Bliss because I have been here a few times for massages and had a really good experience. I wasn’t disappointed with the salon either. When I showed up to the appointment with Avery I explained to her the difficult time I was going through and she was so responsive and accommodating to help me get a better, newer look. She was prepared for the task. After talking about a few options she went right to work only stopping to discuss what would be best for the next stage be it a lower guard or a longer length on top. I let her decide as I was too unsure of what I even wanted. Just something better than what I was doing. It was a very therapeutic experience for me and rather emotional. I was quiet in the chair mostly, and I am rarely not talking. I am excited about the new look and hope to continue with the upgrades in other areas of my life also. This was the best first step for me. The building is gorgeous inside and out. It is more like an art gallery in the entire building as opposed to just the one floor. Not many places can you get a haircut and a massage and watch a game at the same time. Truly a unique experience in Charleston. Excited for my 3 week follow up. If you’re looking for an experience with your new doo, this is the place.

This is definitely a spa facial and massage experience. The routine of receiving the services is one of the best I have seen. My group all thoroughly enjoyed our servers. The staff was great! This is a well thought out spa. The only improvements I could pinpoint are there was not any hot water ready for tea, the atmosphere is relaxing, but I would want it to have a few more softer touches and updates, and the room I was in, the air system was so loud I didnt realize there was music...

Fantastic service. Maleah is a total pro, and I will be coming back for facials with her as often as I can. The atmosphere is relaxing and I always feel very well taken care of when I come.

My friends and I enjoyed a relaxing spa day for my Bachlorette Party with each of us getting facials and massages at an amazing price. Everyone was so kind and professional. We had appointments and were in and out in no time. No waiting around. The relaxation room was so tranquil, but the time we left, we felt like brand new gals!

My husband got called out to work suddenly so I had no way of making my appointment. My appointment was at 11:00am, he called to cancel at 10:00am and they charged him $75.00 for that! Absolutely ridiculous! I will never go back, there are too many other spas around here now to be charged that ridiculous of an amount to cancel.

So disappointed with Spa Bliss! I wanted to treat my aunt to a spa day, so I booked two hour-long massages. My aunt lives in the Charleston area, but I do not. Less than three hours before our appointment, while I was already driving to pick up my aunt, I received a call from Spa Bliss indicating one of the massage therapists was leaving early for a family emergency, and they had to cancel one of our massages. I asked if they could find a replacement, and they said they were not able to do so. As I was already en route to the spa, we kept our appointment, and I sat around while my aunt had a massage.Im giving them three stars, as my aunt enjoyed her massage and the facility itself was nice. Its possible our disappointing experience was just a one-off. But be aware that your appointment may be cancelled last-minute.

I had a hydra facial booked (45 minutes). I was 15 minutes late due to a wreck on the interstate but I did call ahead and let them know & they said this was ok. The lady doing mine was very rude and rushed the facial and was extremely rough, I was in tears. I understand we were short on time but she could have at least stated she couldn’t do everything due to time. The facial lasted maybe 20 minutes if that.

Iv here a few times. I have had just as many disappointing experiences as good ones. It’s just a really hit or miss place. My hair color and cut service was not good nor was a waxing service I had. It is a nice cute place (when it is clean which is also hit or miss). I am going to give it another try probably and hope that my experiences were just kind of one off.

Had a great spa day! A wonderful massage with Whitney, facial and then pedicure. Each of the therapists were professional and took great care with me and my treatments. Clean facilities and overall just lovely experience.

Holly deliberately hacked the back of my hair when I asked her to tweak the stacked layers she cut the previous week. The original stack that she cut had a bit of a mushroom look and I asked her to blend the top layer a little shorter. I was very respectful and not insulting with my request. She thanked me for allowing her to fix it but then she hacked it so short it is cant be fixed. She did this 3 days before Christmas and Im embarrassed for people to see me.

Best place for lashes and brows. The staff is always upbeat and positive. Very relaxing in the lash lounge with Becky doing your lashes. ❤️

Go. See. Chris. He was wonderful, and he did an incredible job taking my lack of knowledge and inspiration photos to create such a gorgeous gradient and beautiful color. I am truly obsessed.

Go to Holly! She is a sweetheart and will take care of you.💇‍♀️ She has me melting the snow with these fiery locks! She is also a pro at Brazilian blow outs!😍❤❤I have been going to her for a few years now and she has grown to be more than just a hairdresser, she is also my friend 🥺After I had my baby a lot of my hair fell out and she helped me look and feel beautiful through the time it took to grow back in. 10/10 recommend 🙌

I scheduled a consultation for a hair cut since I was looking at cutting 8 inches off. The stylist seemed fine with the photo of the style I wanted. I came back in and again showed the photo as a reminder of the style I wanted. We discussed the cut and layers it had all over Then I got placed into the wash bowl with ow towel around my neck...gross. My cut has zero layers and is a blunt cut, losing 8 inches.... I called and left a message for the owner because I was so upset when I left I couldnt discuss the condition of my hair. She has not called me. A manager called offering me another free cut with a different stylist who has not called me and doesnt have any photos of the of cut I want.... with long layers. She hasnt called .... the hair brushes had tons of old hair in them and smelled rotten. My scalp was so itchy when I got home I had to wash my hair and treat my scalp with cortisone.The stylist was very cordial but should have told me he couldnt do that cut.

The massage therapist did a wonderful job as did the technician who did my facial and body wrap. The manicure and pedicure was terrible. The quality of the manicure as well as the service provided by the manicurist was just not up to par. 5 days later my manicure and pedicure are totally a wreck. They did not help us out and we were lost and ended up in the basesmemt. The building is like a maze. At the time the elevator was out of order which required us to go up and down five floors.

Had my hair done a couple of months ago by Kyrstan(not sure how her name is spelled). First off, shes the nicest cosmetologist Ive ever had doing my hair. She wasnt really talkative, but neither am I. I showed her some pictures of hair coloring & styles I thought were pretty & told her it had been so long since I professionally had anyone touch my hair & I just wanted to feel pretty!! She was very honest with me about what my hair would do & would not do. It was a long process, but it really didnt feel like it! When I finally saw my hair 😍😍😍 I loved it! IAlso, Kim does my eyebrows (wax & tint) & shes so good at it! Her demeanor & her personality are a whole vibe!!I definitely recommend checking them out!!*thanks for reading*

I booked hair services and brow waxing. I got my times mixed up and showed at 11:35 (I thought my appointment was at 11:45). The stylist had marked me as a no call no show, and I was refused service. She could have very easily done the color and not cut it since my appointment was 11-1:30, and they don’t take walk-ins, so I know the stylist didn’t have anyone in her chair. Spa Bliss charges 50% deposit at booking, and the remainder when you leave. The receptionist wouldn’t let me reschedule using the same deposit. I ended up going to Hair We Are and had excellent service, same day. As I’m sitting in the chair, Spa Bliss charges the remaining amount to my debit card. I called and was advised that since I didn’t show, I was liable. But I did show. Things happen, and I did show up, but Spa Bliss was the one who essentially canceled the service. I’ve been there before and always shown up, early. So now I’m out $190 to them and never received a service. 0/10 don’t recommend.

Great experience from the moment I walked in! Everyone was very nice, and Tristan who did my nails was great! Very friendly and she did a fantastic job. I’ll definitely be back.

I scheduled two massages for my daughter and her boyfriend, they had Kellie and Nikki, and they both said it was the best massage they ever had! The receptionist was super friendly when scheduling and when they got there! The atmosphere was very cool, old brick building with a modern vibe! Thank you for a great experience!

Ive been dealing with some upper back pain for a while now. Thankfully I found spa bliss and booked with Brandy. She definitely knows what shes doing and shes very knowledgeable with regard to muscle groups and how they work together. Ive been getting massages for 20 years and have experienced good, bad and everything in between. My massage tonight was one of the best massages Ive ever had. Im starting to feel back to normal within 2 sessions a week apart. Highly recommend this place as long as they keep quality therapists who know what theyre doing.

First time here and absolutely loved it. Front staff were so sweet as you walked and and helped me find my way through. I had a massage from Lauren who I would highly recommend. She listens to your pain areas, and highly focuses on helping you feel better as you leave.

Best massage I ever had. I am from out of state visiting a friend and she booked our appointments. Kelly did a phenomenal job. It wasn’t just relaxing, it was therapeutic. She knew what she was doing and was able to focus on my problem areas and provide a deep tissue massage. My friend had Christy; and she shared the same experience, saying she also felt it was the best she has had. Atmosphere was great, reception was personable, and we both left feeling the money was well spent.

Everyone was so kind and approachable. The atmosphere was so positive, and the place was like a luxury salon. 100% going back, Jacob did a beautiful balayage, not to mention he was so easy on my head/hair. Great experience.

Had a massage by Elijah last weekend and I am sorry but it was one of the worst massages I’ve had. It didn’t seem like he knew what he was doing. I called last minute and he was the one available. Also no water in the tea kettle in the relaxation room and the sink in the bathroom was plugged up full of water. I don’t know what’s happening to spa bliss but it’s going downhill. I understand some may like his technique that don’t know much or just need that rough hardness but I get massages often and I know what is good and what’s not. The other massages I’ve had there are good but not this time. And even though only two people were working upstairs, they still need to be on top of it and make sure water is available in the kettle at all times and the bathrooms are in good shape.

My husband has gone to Ted for years for his haircuts, he will not go to anyone else. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable which speaks volumes to the ownership and management as its a direct reflection from the top. Also, I love the wonderful RMS Beauty line and Aveda products they sale. Lastly, MAKE SURE you visit the WILD GRAZE....EVERYTHING they offer is Magnificent and DELISH!

My mom and I went for a massage, facial, and pedicure today and I genuinely could not be more happy with the service we received. All of the people there are super sweet and helpful. We will definitely be back!!

This spa/salon is my goto for everything. The atmosphere and setup reminds me of a high end spa that I frequented in Portland, Maine. That being said, I think it’s important to also comment about Elijah’s massage because I almost never came back after his massage. It was an alarming, unnerving, and bewildering experience in so many ways. My close friend/coworker also knew exactly who I was talking about when I shared my experience because she had a similar absurdly painful massage. I don’t care if he’s worked at the Greenbrier…. That doesn’t change my opinion.I’ve had amazing massages since then with Tim and Kellie. They are wonderful, ask questions, and will modify their pressure for you.

Hands down the best place I’ve been for a deep tissue massage. Elijah and Kristi are excellent and have both helped me so much with chronic neck and back pain. I always ask for gift card here every holiday. The lotus room is real nice too.

Zero stars if that was an option. Cashed in a Christmas gift certificate this evening and got a couples massage tonight with my husband. I was looking forward to relaxing and left more tense than when I walked in. Elijah was my therapist and it didn’t even feel like he was licensed by his actions. It was literally the worst massage I’ve had in my life. I wanted to laugh at how ridiculous it all was. Some of his “techniques” I have never experienced before and I hope to never again. It couldn’t have been over soon enough. I am glad I didn’t spend my own money on such an awful experience, however I’m upset I wasted my time and a loved ones money. I will not be back.

I was really disappointed by my pedicure. The nails do look cute and all, but I was really expecting my legs and feet to be rubbed as part of the 1 hour pedicure. She ended 15 minutes early, so there was plenty of time for her to do it. So I wouldnt do it again.I went back and read the description of the 1 hour pedicure and there is nothing written that would say my feet and legs would be rubbed, but that is part of every single pedicure Ive had before now, so I dont know why it would be apart of spa bliss 1 hour pedicure.Did i ask about it? No. I dont want to be considered a Karen and so I just paid for the pedicure and left.

I got my hair done by Emily. What a wonderful experience. Emily was able to get all the red out of my hair and add highlights that were just beautiful and complemented my skin tone. I highly recommend her and will use her services anytime that I’m in town. The salon is very clean and very organized. Definitely recommend this place for massages hair or nails

I had Nikki today and it was one of the best massages I’ve had in years! She took her time & worked out all the areas I told her that bothered me. Looking forward to my next visit!!

While I have never actually been here, it is my mothers go-to spa in the Charleston area. Every special occasion she makes shopping easy because she always wants a gift certificate for a massage!One thing I absolutely love about this places website is the gift certificate shopping options. You can get a service instead of an amount, or you can even get a bundle of services. If you want to make it VERY easy for the person you are shopping for you can even include the tip! 11/10 stars for convenience.

Massage and facial were great! Pedicure, not so much. My husband bought me the package for Mother’s Day. It was for a 30 min massage, 30 min facial and an hour pedicure. The pedicure girl was unfriendly from the get go saying the other ladies sent me down too late so She didn’t have time to do gel polish and I only got 40 minutes. Not sure I’ll go back. The girl at the front desk just made excuses.

Very disappointed in service. Had 2 shellac gel manicures apts for my daughter and I. and basically received only our nails polished! Did not receive any of what the service stated!! Supposed to be 45 mins each well both apts we’re barely 30 minutes total. When checking out they did not even asked how our appointments / services were? Will not be going back anytime soon!!

Hands down my favorite spa in the area. Every facial and massage has been the best and I’ve tried several. When my sister in law is in town, she always wants to go here so we have a spa day. Everyone is so friendly and professional. HIGHLY recommend Spa Bliss.

I had my lashes done a few weeks before Christmas and made a follow up appointment for a fill in. No one gave me a card with my appointment time or called/text to remind me of when the appointment was. I missed the appointment, but Spa Bliss still charged me $60 for the appointment. I have had lash extensions applied at other locations and honestly this was the very worst experience. It was beyond overpriced but I thought if I paid more maybe they would be better quality/stay in longer. All of my extensions had fallen out within two weeks. I bought the lash care system, took all necessary precautions with the extensions, etc. I will never use Spa Bliss again for any type of beauty service.

This is definitely my favorite spa in this area! I have gotten massages, sugaring, hair treatments, pedicures, facials etc. And never had a bad experience! Destinee has done my hair the last two times and she is amazing! Great personality and my blonde highlights turned out perfect. Linda did my last massage and I felt like a new woman when I left that place.

I had a massage yesterday and the price was changed after I already booked the appt. I know this because you have to pay half at booking. There was a ten dollar difference and I would have liked to have known before my service, or even at check in. I wouldn’t have paid 95 dollars for that massage I got. Also, I made a reservation for hot bamboo, and didn’t find out until I was in the room that’s not what I was getting. I would have cancelled my appt. and not make the trip to town. A failure of transparency and communication.I didn’t change it, I had no option I was told. Also , you require 50% down when reserving so I paid 42.50 at that time then charged over 50 when checking out. This should have been told to me. You know that I already paid half when I checked in.

The stylist that I really like moved, and they suggested another stylist that did similar work, and I tried her, she did a great job other then being a little careless with the color. It was all over me. My ears, hair line, forehead. It was very messy. And with your color you also get a cut,wash and style. Which is how I justify paying what I do for the color. But it always feels rushed and that they arent listening, not asking anything about how you what it are what your thinking for the cut. And what I what is not anything dramatic or difficult.

I had a facial with Kim and a haircut with Holly. Both were amazing! Kim made me so relaxed and rejuvenated and Holly did exactly what I wanted done! So pleased! Thank you!

The facility was clean and had good practices during this covid time. James, my hair dresser, made me feel relaxed and comfortable for my first time getting my hair lightened. Results are wonderful! Also had a great experience getting my eyebrows waxed by Andrea. Plan to return and definitely recommend to others!

I cant even begin to express how much I love this place. Every time I come in for a haircut I just ask for whoever is free because everyone who works at this salon is equally and very talented at cutting hair. Ive had so many bad haircuts in my life and I dont take for granted when I find an amazing place. I am beyond impressed with the skill this staff presents, every time I come in I give them a vague idea and they go from there- and every time my hair comes out amazing. Im never going anywhere else

I have arthritis extremely severe case and the woman who gave me my massage was terrific. I have had several massages but I am pretty sure the one I got today was the best I ever had. My wife got her first massage and i am glad she got it at spa bliss. She loved it we both had a very wonderful experience. We are already planning to go back next month and have the same women do our massages.

I made an appointment for my daughter. I confirmed with a credit card, and I received a text confirmation. I show up for my appointment, and I’m told someone at Spa Bliss canceled it but no one notified me. I have a broken hearted 6 year old who really was looking forward to her haircut.

I ~LOVED~ my facial here. I got the Dermalogica peel and it was my first time at Spa Bliss at all. great view of the baseball field and city scape, and Andrea did a great job with my facial. I felt like she was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions about their other services and what Dermalogica products I would benefit from for my skin type. I would love to have the chance to have a party there someday with friends because the lounge area was so perfect I could have stayed there for another hour.

The wife and I received a couples massage and it was heavenly. Jason and Angie worked some miracles to get all the knots out of us, thats for sure. Both of us felt like Jell-O after what was surely the quickest hour in history. I was pleasantly surprised by the complimentary champagne, strawberries, and brownies while we waited for our appointed time. Well definitely be back!

Great use of this funky warehouse space. They have a wide array of spa offerings and convenient, later hours to accommodate many schedules. Ive only tried the pedicure so far, and would not recommend this service here, as it was lacking in the amenities I prefer (intensive callous removal, massage chair, etc.) However, they do a good job with the pedi they are offering. Every staff person I interacted with were so helpful and professional. I will definitely be back to try their other services!

Way overpriced for all the services. Kept trying to push me to schedule my Brazilian wax with someone other than who I requested. Had multiple areas missed, then when I said something about it, I was told dont worry about it. Well get it next time. Terrible customers service. Will NOT go back. Found a great new place in South Charleston that charges a fraction of price and gives excellent customer service. Neu Aesthetics Spa is much better!

I was very impressed with the way the staff at Spa Bliss followed guidelines of protection with clients during this Corona virus pandemic. I was met by my nail technician at my car, escorted in,where my temp was taken and I answered questions on my health history.. Everyone wore a mask, and hand sanitizer was everywhere. Social distancing was followed .And I got a great pedicure. I highly recommend Spa Bliss.

100% recommend for a massage. The atmosphere is perfect, sandals, robe, hot drinks and a sweet while you wait. Just book it you wont regret a single penny.

My boyfriend and I booked a couples massage here with Sara and Jay and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The spa itself is a cool industrial loft and the next time I’m in town I am definitely booking again. Worth every penny!

Typically I would give it 5 stars but their elevator has been down several weeks and I find it odd that they don’t inform clients with appointments. Not every customer can hike up 4 flights for a hair cut. Until it’s fixed I won’t be back.

My biggest fear going in to get a massage was that it would be awkward or uncomfortable but it definitely was not. It was so calm and relaxing. The masseuse was very professional and the space was peaceful. The price was affordable too. Would recommend to anyone.

Very clean and very professional. They take your temperature when you come in and everyone is required to wear a mask. I have never felt this confident on the cleanliness of a salon/spa. Will definitely be back!

The holidays are here, but DONT buy a gift certificate for your loved one! Got one for my birthday and it’s a hustle scheduling the appointment. People who answer the phone are rude, last time I spoke with Britney who was supposed to look at the schedule and call me back, I did not receive a call back. Don’t go here. There are other spa’s in Charleston that can take good care of you as a paying customer!

Wonderful experience. Suggest not going on a Saturday if possible, way too crowded. Recommend Therapist Whitney Pauley for many reasons, one being that her husband is again deployed to Afghanistan.

Services were great but I found the receptionist to be rude. When I called she was very short and did not say goodbye or end the conversation in a polite way. One time she said yep and as I went to say thank you she hung up. Some of the staff during my visit was nice but others didnt make me feel welcome. They need to improve on the way they interact with customers.

I got my haircut by Stephanie and she seemed great at first but she gave me an hour to get my hair washed, dryed, cut and styled. Needless to say, I went home with wet hair cuz she didnt want her next client to wait. However, she didnt see anything wrong with charging full price PLUS extra because I have thick hair. Never going back.

Very polite and courteous staff from the time one walks in. Both the personnel who gave me a smooth haircut and exceptional manicure and pedicure were truly wonderful. Thank you for a pleasant experience.

Deanna performed my first sugaring and it was great. She was so polite and made me feel comfortable. Sugaring is 1000x better than waxing too!! The atmosphere is gorgeous too.

I have been getting Brazilian waxed and or sugared for over 5 years. Being new to the area I went to Spa Bliss to be sugared a few months ago and had the worst experience. I was left with bruises and stray hairs. Ive waited over 8 weeks to attempt hair removal again... save yourself money and get a much better sugaring at Neu Spa.

This was great. Exactly what I needed. The staff is very friendly and the massage was perfect. They do walk-ins or you can schedule. A great little kept secret. I will definitely be coming back.

Worst deep tissue massage I’ve ever had. Therapist just rubbed lotion into my skin and that’s it.

I got full body massage. I dont want to write name of therapist but it was useless and waste of money.i went there because I had real bad pain at one spot but she mostly ignored that portion and kept working on other body parts despite me clearly stating my objective. I had same pain when i came home. Used 40 dollar massager i had from amazon that night which was WAY better than massage i got

Would not recommend this spa. Ive had sugar waxing that I paid too much for and didnt get all the hair removed. The girl doing the waxing acted like she didnt like doing her job and didnt care if it was done right. Will not go back!
