Cool spot to experience live music! Bartender’s were really nice! Cute spot.

I came for a show a few weeks ago. I was 15 to 20 minutes early. The building was dark and didnt look like anyone was there. The names of the bands were not on the Marquee. I watched 8 people walk up and leave. After 9 pm I saw a person at the downstairs bar, but paid no attention to anyone outside. By 915 pm I left. I returned and heard from a number of people that the doors didnt open until almost 930pm. I dont recommend this place as a venue for anything.

Love this place! They have old school arcade games in the back along with a pool table. Drinks were great and so were the servers! Definitely will be returning! Great atmosphere 👍

I believe they become a night club at night. So I didnt get a chance to try the food yet. But the night club experience was ok.

The music was great but overall the space wasnt. The bar staff was a bit rude and the drinks were overpriced

Nice vibe band was jamming, it was a cool space. A little upset that the sets were over by 12 just seemed a little early to me. But drinks were reasonable and they serve food but I didnt order so dont know how it was.

Honesty is amazing! He is so personable, kind, and fast to assist with whatever you need! Amazing experience with him as me and my boyfriend chatted and ate at the bar! 100% will be regulars from now on !!

This place was horrendous!!! You would think for the 4 people that were in that place the staff would be less snotty to attract more customers because their lack of other amenities definitely are not doing it . NO MIXED DRINKS! Because it so hard to mix equal parts vodka and cranberry.The music is great if your a burnout and have two brain cells left. $15 for the very underwhelming show and the very disrespectful girl that was not doing her job at the door but giving a attitude because she wasnt doing her job . Make it make sense . Event so horrible the lady should have paid me for attending. Do save your hard earn money and waste it on another place than here .

Came here to attend the gig of Sarah Longfield ! Nice cozy venue , perfect for small crowd. You get a chance to interact with artists in such venue

Went here with a date to see my friends bad perform.Walking up to it was the lost lethargic security I’ve ever seen. It appeared he drank NyQuil before work.After that went to the upstairs area and see no one at the entry only to walk into the bar and have some random lady drag us back to the entry and charge us which is understandable and I asked you don’t take card she responded a little snobby we have an atm outside.For $15 a pop I was expecting a decent establishment. But we walk into a rinky dink less than generic atmosphere. The floors were sticky and the bathrooms atrocious.Then I get to the bar and the bartender gave a less than friendly vibe I ask him for a moscow mule and proceeds to say he can’t do that since they don’t have ginger beer. I ask what other drinks he can make and basically the “bartender” only does shots and beer. In the middle of wicker park/ Bucktown/ Logan this is the only spot where I’ve heard a bartender say they can’t make a simple mixed drink.I tried their only cider, overpriced and nasty but it was enough to say I had a drink at their establishment. I can’t judge the food since I didn’t try it, god knows that nothing up to that point inspired me to try the cuisineDefinitely not worth it, can’t find any redeemable quality aside from the convenience of an atm available. Would not recommend it, even under duress. And as much as a good bunch of my friends perform in the area I think I’ll sit the next one out if it’s at this establishment

They have a great live band, Midnight Sun, on Sunday nights. Great drinks, good food. Cant go wrong.

Saw some cool DJs upstairs, and beers were reasonably priced, but Im awarding minimal stars because they had literally zero seating or anywhere to leave your coat. And they snap a photo of you when youre entering the bar, without telling you... atmosphere definitely seems a bit Orwellian for my liking.

Came here a few weeks ago for a live performance and was not disappointed. Nice, intimate venue with great staff, great service and solid bartending. Would definitely come back to check out shows in the future.

Came for a wedding after-party. One bouncer allowed us on the rooftop, another bouncer stopped us at the stairs. Three bouncers had a disagreement out at the front door; nobody communicated what the actual issue was or if we were allowed up or not.

Such a fun vibe and great service as well!

I came here for a local event that was being hosted in their upstairs space. I got bag checked by some big dude but he made me feel comfortable. He pat down my boyfriend. The upstairs was small but had a great time. The downstairs seemed fun as I checked it on my way out, but didnt stay for too long.

Last week, my girlfriend and I came here to celebrate our anniversary by spending time here. Because I thought it would be an enjoyable site for a date, I chose to pick this location. The inside has a pleasant atmosphere, our date turned out to be one of the most enjoyable times in our lives. Even my girlfriend like the food thats available here. We went for the Lamb Meshwi bowl that came with mixed greens, and we also got the Lentil fritters and the Roasted Cauliflower. The quality and flavor of every dish was outstanding. Everything about it is perfect for us. Everything was wonderful in every way. From the location, to the staffs and to the cuisine. Unquestionably a well worth for time to spent. Our date became more and romantic thanks to this resto. We will definitely return to this place so that we can taste more of their delicious food. And I will undoubtedly suggest this to each and every one of my friends.

As a neighbor of this establishment they have no regard for their neighbors. Theres loud music and drunk people fighting and puking outside till 4 am. Its unbelievable the alderman does nothing to shut this place down.

This bar is awesome. My friends and I went here on our last day of visiting Chicago, and we did not regret it. First of all the drink were good and inexpensive. The bar tender was so sweet to us ( i unfortunately dont remember her name), but she had great conversation and helped me figure out what i want to drink for the night. They have what looks like a 10-piece band, that sing a bunch of their own songs and then take request the other half of the night. When i say that band is amazing, they are AMAZING! They sung a lot of blues, jazz, and older R-n-b songs. After theyre done they go into the crowd and mingle with everyone on the floor and at the bar. We met the owner right before we left and he was just as nice and courteous as all of his other employees. I cant wait to go back the next time i visit Chicago. I definitely recommend this spot for anyone whos looking for a really home-y, friendly environment.

By far one of the best bars in Chicago. This place always has amazing events going on, and they are open late on most nights. Met one of the owners of the place and he is very nice. Always shows great hospitality whenever he is around!

Nice restaurant/bar with friendly staff. The upstairs turns into a nice place for events in the evenings.

Pros: June the owner and his staff are super nice, its open till 5am, depending what time youre here it can be nice and chill or a big party, great selection of bottles, havent tried the food but it looks fantastic.Cons: Cant think of one go check this place out!Big props to this place I left my coat here at the end of a rowdy night and they kept it safe for me till I could get it back the next day. Says a lot about the people who work and come here that nobody would take my wallet out of it or take the coat itself. Thanks again June!

I drive 50 minutes in any weather every Tuesday night to see Krue the Bartender, DJ Burr, and all my friends for Emo Night here. Open Mic during songs for Kareoke. All around great time.

Very chill spot. The drinks are well priced and strong. Many different types of bourbon and a lot of them are very good. Theres a pool table in the back. It does get crowded later on into the night and the place turns into a dance floor. Music was good, but not great. I would recommend this spot.

Went here on New years it was alot of fun very easy to find. They have 3 bars so very short wait time to get a drink. They also have a few pool tables and a boxing machine. They also have 2 different levels that you can choose to hangout.they also have a nice size stage for performers. I would definitely recommend this place to small groups looking to have a good time.

Extremely dirty sticky floor shoes were stuck to it, just filthy .restroom was gross for $18 a shot (tiny plastic). You would think they would give their patrons a clean establishment.

First time here, awesome place, good vibes. Drinks were good, place was clean and servers were nice. Parking is impossible, so arrive early or find other means of transportation. There are so many places to eat and drink in the area as well.

I went here a couple of times to dance. It was empty both times and the music was just okay. I left shortly after arriving to the place across the street

If you want bad service and being charged for an incomplete order without notice from the restaurant then do order from here. I placed a food order through a popular food app thinking that this place is a restaurant because it pops up as a restaurant with pictures of different food on the app. I went to pick up my order on time and it took twice as long then informed. To top it off this place is a disco/ bar and they are not concerned with food first! I got my order which was incomplete but was charged the full amount. If I knew this was a bar I never would have ordered from it. The Manager didnt care the least about my order being wrong. Poor attitude and bad customer service. Nasty food as well. Please dont order from this place. If I knew my order would be incomplete I will have cancelled it. Thanks GrubHub. Please inform your customers that this is a club that serves bar food and not an upscale restaurant as portrayed on the app.

Okay, so the venue is great. The people were great. The show was great. The bartenders were great. If I came here again: I would try to arrive earlier and stay later. Thats how much fun it was. Cheers.

This bar is trash. Nothing is very obvious on the floor. Security is very rude, cant get your drinks on time. Very obnoxious staff.

Despite this being one of the last small live music venues in the area.. my friends and I will never come back. The upstairs bar operates in a grossly desperate way.. taking advantage of the patrons, up-charging for every drink. The upstairs bar manager has the moral high ground of a used car salesman and when I told him we were up-charged he acted as if it were normal to be charging $10 each for well-drinks in plastic cups (Im sure they get away with this all the time). Really disappointing to see a bars desperate attempt to make a buck by ripping off the few patrons that they have. As a bartender, I cannot get behind this place. I would never treat my customers with such deceit and disrespect. Sleazy establishment.

Finally got to hang with coworkers and friends and must say it was amazing, music was dope the employees are nice and its a great place!Edit: 5 year later and bourbon continues to be a wonderful place, had a lil birthday get together and had a blast with friends and loved ones

Nice drinks & decent a surroundings but they sold my friend fried chicken that was still bleeding & not sure if the refund went back on her card because they lost company copy. Plus I believe the most of the workers were under the influence even tho it was 2am still not good look...😒

Fun place with very Respectful staff, good service and drinks, fun diverse crowd with some games in the back and some benches for outdoor seating in front. Just a great place to be after hours or just before.Definitely one of my new favorite hangout spots!

Youre definitely in for a fun time its a 4:00 a.m. bar with great atmosphere people loving moments and great lives all the time who knows you might even catch free drinks

Enjoyed the dark intimate upstairs part of the venue watching a live R&B tribute by Aniba & the Sol Stars featuring songs by Erykah Badu and Jill Scott. Did not hang out downstairs, only walked through it. The venue as a whole gives casual and low key vibes. More dive bar than upscale.

Good place for a show. Green room upstairs. The elevator in the back makes load out at night super easy. Awesome staff.

Would give this place 0 stars if I could. Staff are terrible and wouldnt recommend going there. Go to the point or Estelles better places, similar enough selection of beers, and more space to actually move around so that you can enjoy your time.

Everything abot this place was fun. Multiple levels for Multiple grooves. I ended up chillin upstairs at the Hyryder show and had an absolute blast umtil the power grid blew right as they were going inro Terrapin.

This bar has slow service, high prices, they charge for water (wouldn’t just give a cup with water from the gun), and add an automatic gratuity along with a Covid surcharge still in 2023. Don’t waste your time or money here.

Cool Halloween decorations... Way over priced for run of the mill bourbons found in any restaurant or bar. A 2oz pour will be half the cost of the bottle. Service is very slow, bartender would rather sit down and eat right infront of you, then go out and smoke and just make you wait to cash you out

Playful, industry-friendly bar that hosted karaoke night on this particular Thursday night in which I ventured out with some friends from #CityWineryCHI.The bartender, Ashley, is totally wicked behind the bar and is incredibly easy on the eyes too. Majestic Eyes & Holy Guns, Batman! She single handedly juggled over 30 guests on this particular night and made it look way too E-A-S-Y! The employees are very kind. The live shows are everything.The drinks are made well.The food is good.I had a great time!

Too expensive, to empty. The people there are very rude. Particularly the people assisting the bar tenders. People puke in the faucets and the cleaning crew does not clean up the mess. Not enjoyable.

Beautiful 14th century style tavern with mysterious strawberry milk fountain blocking the entryway. The enchanted golem that guards the bathroom can tell you how to approach web design in a more methodical way. The staff will burst into song every time you order the brisket sandwich, and make you feel like you are the mayor of Wisconsin. The stage is surrounded by an array of anti aircraft missiles that allows bands to perform with out the fear of wyvern attack.

Tacos were tasty! Widow cider was delish! And the sound was stellar!!Gray night and the band made it magic!

Its a place to relax, dance & have a beer while listening to music. Great place to chill & relax.

Bouncer threw my friend from Ireland who’s here on vacation, to the ground, knocking out two of his teeth and busting 2 more. Worst part is my friend had nothing to do with the fight that was going on, just a bystander.
