Such a chill place, super relaxed—we felt very welcomed and comfortable. Friendly staff and relaxed people, not overcrowded. Its not luxurious, and thats a compliment, as its made for people to come and just enjoy the music. This was important to us as we are new to the USA and dont know the specifics and culture. We felt great there. The music was also excellent, although it was sometimes clearly too loud, which reduced the enjoyability of the music, which it deserved. No food, but you can bring your own or order pizza. The selection of drinks is good and reasonably priced. We enjoyed it and would come again.
Came to Rosas Lounge to see a friend of mine play the blues, Stefan Hillesheim. This was the first time that Ive been to this establishment due to work requirements. I had been invited many times before but I couldnt make it due to my work hours. This time I was able to go! It was everything that I expected. I ordered my tickets on line and was at the door when it opened at 8:00PM. The atmosphere was that of an old blues club, where youd come and see Muddy Waters and Buddy Guy. The staff was very polite and friendly. There is no kitchen but you can have your food delivered or bring it in with you. The show started on time and was every bit as good as you would expect from going to see a show at some of the bigger blues venues in Chicago. I would definitely recommend Rosas Lounge for a night out on the town, this is a must see! Put it on your bucket list! Ill be coming back soon!
True to their promise... the friendliest blues bar in Chicago. Tony and his Momma have created a fantastic blues club. The performers and everyone working here are fun to watch working together. The music is top notch!
Don’t miss if you go to ChicagoDo you wanna enjoy a great blues show at a legendary place? Just go to Rosa’s Lounge. Jennifer warmingly welcomes guests! The night we’re there, Win Noll & the Rockin’ Souls we’re playing! Great music! It was 1AM, we’re the last 6 customers and the band still playing! The place does not have a kitchen, but you can order food online and it’ll be delivered to your table. Make your reservation online and arrive 1 hour before the show to pick up a good table. They stream the shows so if you want to virtually visit the place, go online, talk to Jennifer, enjoy good music, and tip the band and the servers.
Hidden Gem! Great Live Blues music. Been here many times and it never disappoints. The music is so good and the staff is very cool. The musician are highly skilled and extremely passionate when they are performing and many guest musician stop in late night and have great jam sessions. This musical oasis is definitely worth a visit again and again.
Rosas is a small and intimate blues lounge with the best blues acts around. Extremely friendly atmosphere with very reasonable drink prices (bring your own food). Great sound system. If your looking for an authentic blues lounge, Rosas is the place to go. Go celebrate Rosas 39th year in business and listen to some of the best blues on planet Earth.
Great little blues bar! Great music played by Sheryl Youngblood! Awesome drinks and was super fun to chat with the ladies tending bar! We were in town from Utah and discovered this gem! We will visit this place again when we return to Chicago and would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun blues club!!
A must visit whenever I’m in Chicago. The vibe is great, even when the music isn’t. But it often is great. The blues is still very much alive as a thrilling, immediate art form at Rosa’s.
Best spot in town for blues nestled on the west side in Logan Square go on a Tuesday to see Dave Herrero and Pete Galanis tear it up. Don’t forget to say hi to Angel behind the bar. You can’t go wrong here.
Great sound quality inside the venue. The band was great. Bartender was attentive and pleasant during the show even as it started to get busy.
The place was packed on this night that international blues star Cros performed. The waitstaff was attentive and accommodating.. I had a great time. Parking was good there too.
Great place to see the blues! Rosa is a real person, the place is owned and operated by her son, Tony. Very intimate, family run operation. We just do not get here enough! They have added food from an outside service that is nice, delivered hot. Glad to see that they are still operating despite the huge impact of COVID. Do yourself and the genre a favor - go see a blues artist here! You won’t regret it!
Loved listening to Little Ed! I watched him play his style of blues 25 years ago with my daughter and this time with my son. Great drinks, also.
Went here to see a 9:00 performance. The band did not start until 9:45 with no announcement or update on the delay. We just sat and watched them mill around in no rush to get started. We ended up leaving shortly after they finally did start. Our mood was soured by the wait. The owner stopped us on the way out and inquired why we were leaving. After explaining to him, he acknowledged and apologized for the delay and offered to give us a refund. We declined, so he gave us a card for free entry on another night. I really appreciated that and very much changed my view on the spot. He genuinely seemed to care and wanted us to have a good experience. I would give the spot another go. The vibe is pretty good and seems like a fun night out. The drinks were decent.
A few of us went there last night. Great little venue, very attentive service, mixed review on that nights music. Sayer was the first performer and he played a helluva good guitar and shared some cool history about the blues. During the first few songs his voice was good but then he kind of screamed the last few. Willy buck was the late act. His band was tight and had some great musicians. To be honest, Willy was the worst blues singer I have ever heard. Going back next month to see Ivy Ford.
Absolutely the place to be if youre looking for a cozy bar with live entertainment. A pretty Diverse crowdand a band called Lil Ed and the Imperials played last weekend and they were AWESOME!!! The Lead singer took photos with us and interacted with our group all night, so if you are ever in Chicago you HAVE to go this spot when they are playing if you love GOOD blues! Drinks were pretty good too!
Just go! You will not be disappointed. Absolutely amazing music and vibe.
A great place to listen to music and make new friends. Reasonably priced drinks and friendly service.
Went on a Friday night for 9pm show. Doors open at 8pm or so, but no rush, no lineups. Quaint, dim, and super historical lounge with huge blues vibe. This is the real deal! As soon as show started, we were blown away. Theres nothing like a live music experience and the virtuosity of the band, particularly the masterful harmonica played by Matthew Skoller, blew us away. Were not blues fans, but we were for that night. Place filled up later, so get a seat at the front. Skoller ended set coming out into the audience. Loved it! Thanks Rosas!
Best REAL Blues joint in ChicagoGreat Music, Staff & Tony
Great place to see a show! Just buy a ticket in advance.
The house band filled in for the headliner, who was a no-show. I purchased advanced tickets, and the show was good.
Incredible place with insanely good music and really funny decor. Not sure why they still have their New Years 2022 decorations up but they do! Really nice staff and great atmosphere. Good live sound too.
For the Love of Blues and a room filled with talent on the stage in an intimate setting, this is it.Parking is street, so if you can take transportation do it! Staff are hospitality with a smile.Great Chicago gem!
Outstanding entertainment and the staff are amazing. The woman at the front door is such a sweetheart and the bartenders were so friendly. Highly recommend this place for a good blues experience!
Great old school blues bar and they have great local beer!
Went to the Melvin Taylor show on Sept 9th 2023. We had an amazing time! Melvin Taylor was absolutely INCREDIBLE, the atmosphere is quaint, intimate, & fills me with sweet nostalgia. Tony, the owner, so kind & sweet. I would definitely go back. We had a blast!
Great neighborhood dive for cool local talent. If you love blues, nowhere better in the city. Beware of parking tickets. They ticket you even if youve paid!
I love it here! Always a blast with amazing music and musicians
Went here for the first time and had such a great evening. Watched Stephen Hull perform live - WOW! The staff at the front door were very friendly as were the bartenders. Very easy to find a seat, very intimate vibe and had a great view of the band. HIGHLY recommend Rosa’s if you enjoy blues music.
Okay dont get my review twisted. I love love love LOVE this place. Ive been visiting Rosas for many many years and have heard so much good music. If youve never been here you might miss it the first time looking for it, but once you know, you know. A quaint place for date night or a great place to gather with friends. I have nothing bad to say about this place except I was a little confused about table service. There was a server, but it seemed like it was only now and then and we were unsure whether to go get our own drinks or wait for the server. Thats my only mild complaint, hence the 4 star rating. Otherwise, Rosas is a great little hangout for live blues.
Thanks Tony for keeping the blues alive. The first time I went to Rosas was in the early 80s. Mama Rosa was behind the bar. It felt like being in someones home listening to good blues. My family and friends went there often. After my mother past in 1987, we went to Rosas to celebrate her life along with her siblings from out of state. Many, many good memories at Rosas. So glad its still there and thriving.
Great Blues location with super friendly service in a cozy atmosphere.
Friendliest place Ive sat down in in all Chicago. Bear Williams, his band, and family all put on a great show, the staff and the regulars feel like friends and neighbors right away. Drinks were good and reasonably priced. Well be back.
Fantastic! Really nice cousy club, super friendly stuff. Best musical experience I have had. The club was actually full of musicians on audience side. In the end they were all on stage... Just fantastic!
Great bar with live music. On that day, the band performing was good and everyone was enjoying it including some dancing. There is a cover charge that is a bit steep but the cocktails and other drinks are good.
Best blues bar in Chicago, hands down. This is the most intimate club where the musicians come down and hang in between sets. They are humble and grateful musicians, and the staff is great too. Bottom line, the music just sounds better here.
Great bands? Staff is very attentive. Cool atmosphere.
Went to Rosa’s while on holiday. This bar is the very reason I wanted to visit Chicago.Friendly, great atmosphere and outstanding blues - Toronzo Cannon played -Forget the bigger venues, go to Rosa’s for real people and music
Nothing to say other than visit this amazing venue. Incredible.
Excellent music, a friendly and service-focused staff, and a great crowd made for an A+ light. We heard John Primer and the Real Deal Blues Band, and they were there to have fun and really perform for us. All at a great price! Highly recommend Rosas Lounge for some classic Chicago Blues.
I visited Rosas for one of their blues dancing events and I had such an amazing time! The music was absolutely my favorite part. I had a great time dancing with other Blues dancers and getting to know the locals. The drinks were great too! I cant wait to go to the next event in August! I would recommend this bar to anyone who likes good company and amazing live music.
Great atmosphere! The music never fails me here. It is always fantastic! The owner is very involved and attentive. He loves his place, the people that come and the music he brings to us. This his heart and it shows. Because of that, Rosas will always be one of my absolute favorite places!
OMG, what an Amazing Place. Lucky we found this place. Excellent Blues. Not only listen to but met the Beautiful Mary Lane and the Smooth Willie Buck. Staff is Amazing. Differently will se us back... A true Gem 🍻🤘🍻
Its great. The sound is always clean and balanced. The music is outstanding. Cover is a bargain for the quality. $15 is what you would pay to see an okay band play one set at one of the smaller music venues in Chicago on an off night. At Rosas, $15 gets you 2-3 long sets by some of the best blues artists around.Update: its now $20, but it still awesome
Best place in Chicago to catch some blues, and thats saying a lot. The musicians are world-class, the owner is amazing and does an incredible amount to support the blues community, and the staff is the nicest youll find. This place is basically my second living room, and Im constantly in awe of how lucky I am for that to be the case.
Rosa’s is the best blues bar! So incredibly authentic and the bands are unbelievable! Also, the owner is super personable and spent time talking to us about the story behind Rosa’s, which is something to go see for yourself. 100% recommend - you will not regret it!
The ambiance is great. When you think Chicago Blues, thats what you would have in mind. The selection of drinks was very decent. Prices were also affordable. Admission is worth every penny once the musicians hit the first few notes! You get what you came for : great, great blues. Come in early on weekends to have decent seats!
One of the most friendly Blues clubs in all Chicago!!)Tony and his staff are truly amazing!!and tuesday nites are my favorite Blues performance to enjoy , with Pete Galanis on guitar ,Dave Herrero & Friends!! Highly recommended
Incredible musicians , the friendliest staff and locals in the bar….just the best. A great , small , local venue that feels like Sweet Home Chicago. ❤️
Truly a hidden gem of Chicago. My first time in Chicago did not disappoint. I wanted to hear some live Blues and was fortunate to stumble upon Rosas. The people were friendly and you could tell everyone was there to enjoy the music and have a good time. Highly recommend!
Pretty solid booze select. It was ~$15 for the cover charge and the band was crushing it.Has that nice dive-bar, blues feel. Smells like a good amount of cigarettes and cigars have been smoked in there over the years, beer was spilled as people whizzed around dancing. Overall, a great place to grab a drink, listen to some music, and enjoy yourself while dancing.
Wow is all I can say. We were traveling from Louisville, KY and did all the typical tourist stuff. Then our air bnb suggested we check out his favorite neighborhood bar. This place exceeded all of our expectations by a mile. Drinks were great- ordered a Manhattan which as a self proclaimed bourbon gal, I was impressed by the quality. The band was incredible with multiple special guests. And for some reason most of the crowd were talented swing dancers. Best night I’ve had in a while, we felt like we had stepped back in time.
Classic blues venue. Great vibe. Super friendly staff. The bar’s “ambassador,” Jeff, even makes out-of-towners feel at home.
Nice neighborhood bar with amazing ambiance and music, friendly staff and great drinks
Great place, great music , great vibe
My family of 20+ had a magical experience at Rosa’s. Tony and Jennifer were so accommodating for our large group in our efforts to celebrate a relative’s 94th birthday. Both the atmosphere and music were unforgettable. THANK YOU!!!
Melvin Taylor birthday show was awesome!!
Absolutely fantastic. Great vibe. Wonderful music. Drinks are very affordable and if your are lucky enough to have Angel as your bar tender then you are going to have a good night! A must see blues bar.
Rosa’s is the bomb. We travelled to Chicago for a short trip and wanted to see some home town blues. We were not disappointed. Intimate setting, good staff and great vibe. We saw Melvin Taylor and he was so awesome. Really capped off our trip. Tony was great. My wife wanted a woman’s cut medium t-shirt and he had to dig quite a bit to find one but came through for her. Cocktails a little spendy but well done.
Cool little club, will go back!
This is a great intimate club to watch and hear blues. Very friendly. Talked to the owner on the way out, very engaged and making sure everyone is enjoying themselves. Im from out of town and wish I could go again. There are other big huge places that seem to be , and they advertise themselves, as drinking places that have music. This is truly a blues and music first experience, that has drinks. Huge experience difference. We enjoyed Melody Angel, really believe up and coming big star. A lot of raw energy and grit on her lyrics and her guitar playing. Awesome. It was great to chat with her during band break. Nuf said. Truly great experience to add to your chicago visit. Enjoy.
Believe it or not, this was my first visit to Rosas. But it wont be the last, thats for sure.Rosas is the quintessential Chicago blues club. This type of club is what I picture when I think Chicago blues. The staff is super friendly, and the space is dark and cozy. The club is long and narrow, theres not a lot of tables from front to back, but to me, its a perfect size. The club holds around 50 people, sitting and standing. The music sounds incredible, and youre close to the small stage, even if youre in the back. Your line of sight is pretty good, even in the very back of the club. You pay at the front door as you come, in, and the host will show you to an open table. On this Friday night, the place was full, and people were dancing on the dance floor and at their tables. The bar is full service with a couple of bartenders, and they will bring drinks to your table. The cocktails are excellent and robust.I believe the show starts at 9 pm and the band plays three or four sets. We arrived around 11-11:30 pm and the band was in mid-set. At the end of the set, they are sitting at the bar or walking around talking with everyone. John Primer & The Real Deal Blues Band was playing this night, and they were awesome! My understanding is this level of talent is here every night. And its been my experience at similar Chicago blues clubs around the city.As we approached the end of the last set and closing time, the mood was still full-on party mood!!
My wife and I had a great time on a Friday night. Met some great people, enjoyed the music, drinks, and overall vibe. Exactly what you expect to get when visiting Chicago.
For starters.. Rosas is the real Chicago Blues deal! Proprietor Tony Mangiullo , Angel & and the rest of the staff are truly the friendliest you will encounter in Chicago. The authenticity of the space and the bands that grace the Rosas stage let you know you are in blues heaven. The vibe is always good here and a good time is a guarantee.
This is a true blues club. No food, no TVs, just great music. We were able to see Vance Kelly last night and it was the best live music experience Ive had in years. If you are looking for a real Chicago blues experience, come to Rosas!
For the last two decades for me was and is the best blues club in Chicago!Cant wait to celebrate my birthday tomorrow at my favorite blues spot and see Tony M.😎and of course enjoy the great Lil Ed!Great music, service and just fun!
One of the best blues venues in Chicago, real legends played and still play here. Casual atmosphere, friendly staff, full bar. No food, but they let you order from places nearby.
Hot. No food service. It is perfect! If you are a blues fan, you really cannot beat this place. We saw Lurrie Bell!! Are you kidding me? Too awesome! This is such a historic venue for true blues fans. I would absolutley recommend this place. If you get the chance to hit other spots like House of Blues, go! Chicago has a lot of great historic places. Next trip we will hit Checkerboard Lounge and maybe Legends. I heard Legends is much better now.
Love this place!! Cant wait to perform here on the 15th of July 2023 with The Mike Wheeler Band
Bands and venue is great, bartenders are awesome. Venue is not optimal location, in Humboldt Park. Door staff is unfriendly and borderline rude. Cover is high for a blues club, let alone in a neighborhood not in Riv N.
My first dip into the blues scene in chicago, and damn can I say it has boosted my want of exploring this city’s potential even more! I went to see John primer perform and man can that old man play! Got there at 9 didn’t leave until they where wrapping up. Great drinks, nice little space to dance right in front of the stage, and the bartender Angel I believe was cool . Alll in all will be back
Four of us excited for live music. First trip to Chicago. Took a $40 cab ride to the middle of no where. Everyone masked, all vaccinated, and excited and turned away from an empty bar due to not having vaccine cards. As a physician, I was one of the first ones vaccinated and couldn’t even go in. Completely crazy and what a way to treat the healthcare workers in this difficult time. $80 in cab rides wasted. Unreal.
Great music and wonderful people. Incredible talent and fantastic shows! This place makes for a great night out!!
Rosas is my favorite hidden live music spot in the city. Awesome blues, divey atmosphere and in a real neighborhood. Get your tickets online and show up early to get a good seat!
The best Chicago venue for serious Blues aficionados. Unlike some touristy venues where people are more interested in talking loudly to each other and the music blares at a very high decibel, Rosa’s actually provides a good listening environment in an intimate space. A small dance area, but usually plenty for those so moved.
Its always a good time at Rosas Lounge!
Went to go see the Sheryl Youngblood Band. Had a blast! Really cool venue, great place for live music.
Great live blues! The atmosphere is super divey, but I absolutely love it. Its authentic. And the bartenders are all so friendly!
I went to Rosas for the first time on Saturday and caught Lurrie Bell. I dont know how anyone would rate this place anything less than 5 stars. The music, bartenders, pricing, environment and Tony = 5/5. Highly recommend if youve never been.
Visiting Chicago and had the most amazing night at Rosa’s Lounge. Intimate lounge with out of this world artists on the stage. Absolutely LOVED it!
Awesome blues music venue. The stars are right in your face, sound is great, bar is great, very friendly atmosphere. Better have your ID and vaccination proof
It was my first there! And the music was so amazing! Highly recommend! And the wait staff has awesome! This place has been there for almost 40 years! Wow
Rosas is my musical Northside home. Tonight, we celebrate the 38th anniversary of Rosas Lounge with my band, Billy Branch and the Sons of Blues. We were the inaugural act for the grand opening. It is Chicagos friendliest Blues club.
Been going to Rosas for many, many years. Tony, Rosas son is as wonderful as his mother. Blues music seems to be a dying art form. I hope Rosas gets rediscovered, it deserves the recognition. I travel extensively...this is one of my favorite places in the world!
Brilliant night with Willie Buck and his band last night. The bar is great, the music excellent. Please support this wonderful establisment
Always an amazing experience. Great live music, good vibes and amazing staff! One of my favorite places to recommend to people!
One of the best venues in Chicago to listen to the best blues musicians
Authentic Blues and soul music. Many blues legends have played here. Has a great atmosphere, music, and drinks.
Rosa is a city icon. Not sure of her whereabouts, but this blues place is one of the few origia last left in Chicago. Neatles in a little neighborhood of the city its a mainstay around an ever-evolving spot. The music is always great, a wonderful date spot, and friendly people- from the bartender and doorman to the musicians...
Great venue to hear the blues. Tony, the owner, works the sound board flawlessly so the acoustics were wonderful. Saw Gloria Hardiman, Matt Skoller and others there. Nice!
The best blues club in all Chicago! When youre here no matter who you are you are treated like family, more importantly, like family they like. Tony and Amberly are passionate about the music and converting fans far and wide.
Great West Side Blues Bar! Melvin Taylor has played there for years & he kills it every time! This is not Lincoln Park folks. Its a real neighborhood though & one of my favs in Chicago!
Hefty cover is the only issue but you have to pay if you want to hear the talented individuals that play there. Love the vibe and the music. This place is a treasure.
Really good blues show. Highly recommend finding a show you want to see and book it now. Great vibe.
Rosas features some of the best blues in the city. One time I paid the cover but had to leave early and the owner gave me two free passes to come back. Thats what I call good service.
Wonderful dancing with Bluetopia!
This is my go-to spot for blues music in Chicago! Always a great headliner every time I go, and not too touristy like other local venues. Always a good time!
One of my favorite blues bar in Chicago for a long time. I like the Chicago blues legends that are loyal to Mama Rosa and wont play anywhere else but here!
Love the ambience here, music was fantastic, the drinks were delicious and well priced. I would definitely recommend this lounge. Very well hidden gem.
A true blues venue, authentic and old school. A blues aficionado paradise. Loved by locals and i can see why. A great place to hear some good music
Love the band . Nice friendly “Cheers Bar” atmosphere. Everyone introduce themselves. Be ready for some smooth down home blues!
Tony is THE MAN. Mello too (lol). I just wish I got the name of the 16 year old guitarist who played the second set with Pete Galanis and friends... whats his name!?!?
Great place. Went here to see Willie Buck. Looking forward to learning more about contemporary Chicago blues artists and coming back here to see some of them live.
Awesome blues dive!
Great times at Rosas ,great small unassuming blues bar, but its always packed, been there several times before, good ticket prices, we saw a Japanese Blues band!!only in Chicago!!!
Great place to experience live Jazz music.Bartenders friendly, great drinks
Rosas has a great vibe. Love the music and atmosphere. Laid back and welcoming. You can also get food delivered as well.
Dive bar of history. You enter and get steeped in the atmosphere of blues legends old and new. It was great being a part of history just by being there.
My first time in Chicago and Im glad I came here! It was really laid back and so much fun to watch and listen to the bands play.
Great night, the Real Deal, John Primer performed. Very friendly place, nice owner Tony, and Jennifer and staff.
This is wonderful place to experience The Blues and similar live music. The staff is fun and friendly.
Rosas Lounge operates in the hallowed tradition of Chicago blues lounges, family owned and operated by Tony Mangiullo, an Italian immigrant who came to Chicago over three decades ago (1978) after meeting blues legends Jr. Wells and Buddy Guy in Milano.Tony found the true spirit of the blues at South side lounges like the legendary Theresa’s, and he opened Rosas (1984) as a tribute to those cradles of blues tradition, and named it after his mother, Rosa, who had followed him here to help.Rosas family of blues performers ranges the entire spectrum of styles from traditional legends like David Honeyboy Edwards, Homesick James and Pinetop Perkins to Chicago modernists like Jimmy Burns, Jimmy Johnson, Billy Branch, Lil’ Ed, Mary Lane, Willie Buck, John Primer, Lucky Peterson, Rico McFarland, Melvin Taylor, Kinsey Report and Sugar Blue. Also attracts second-generation sons of the blues like Eddie Taylor Jr., Lurrie Bell, Vance Kelly. Carl Weathersby, Sharon Lewis, Nick Moss, Dave Specter and to feature local to national exciting new artists: Pete Galanis, Omar Coleman, Will Jacobs Nicholas Barron. Toronzo Cannon, Corey Dennison, Mike Wheeler, Luke Pytel. Albert Castiglia, Jamiah On Fire & The Red Machine. Melody Angel, Bear Williams and more. This s a blues haven that feels like home to both the novice and the seasoned blues fan, Chicago’s Fnend/Iest Blues Lounge . and Rosas was named Chicago’s best blues club” by the New York Times and ...a blues mecca for true believers by Rolling Stone.
A laid-back atmosphere with some awesome music to boot. Thursday night is a good night to go!
Best hole in a wall Ive ever been.My wife and Is 23rd anniversary here hit the spot.Thank youBartender was awesome
Go now. This place is one of the best live music spots in Chicago.
Rosas is always a great venue, but a lot depends on the quality of the evenings talent. Look for Lurrie Bell and youll not be disappointed.
Great music! And the women managing the door (the owner? It seemed like so) is hilarious
If you crave live, authentic Chicago style blues performances, come here. This mom and pop, hole in the wall is the real deal. I WILL be back.
Seriously friendly staff! Very cool atmosphere, we cant wait to come back!
Ivy Ford is incredible!!! Amazing musician, great show and fun atmosphere
30 Bucks for cover charge for such a modest tiny ruined place...
This place is awesome - great mix of old and new blues players and they keep it real (they didnt sell out to tourists like Kingston Mines - oops!)
Good ambiance, sociable crowd. Skews toward the 40s and up age group. Good variety of blues bands on stage.
I enjoyed Rosas lounge a lot, again. Very good music and laid back atmosphere, friendly staff. I will definitely go back.
One of the coolest blues bars in Chicago.you will not be bored going here nor will you be disappointed. Every night is a blast.
Covid protocols in place made it feel completely safe. So great to have live music back! And no crowd!!
Great place. Wonderful staff. The Joanna Connor Band was outstanding!
Always good music at Rosas!! Rico McFarland band is Awesome!! Great blues atmosphere!
Cozy place and talented musicians frequent there. The owner was real nice too!! Loved it.
One of Chicagos greatest blues music venues. Friendly staff and wonderful music makes for a special night out.
Amazing time! Bartender was over the top with they way she takes care of her clients.Definitely recommend !
This place was so great. We were greeted by the owner, stayed for incredible music and cheap drinks.
Love it here!! great atmosphere and amazing talent, super cool place check it out!
Freaking awesome! Open Uber, type in Rosas and get there. Maybe theres a cover but dont be cheap. Pay the money and enjoy. 💯
In my opinion the best blues venue in the city reasonably priced drinks decent crowd good stage and good sound.
Great little blues bar. Always a good time. Decent seating for a small venue, too.
The great live music is the main thing here, but you also have great beer and great atmosphere... What else do you need?
Place quint and music was great. People were VERY nice and helpful. Great place for blues music and pleasant evening.
One of the few blues bars left in Chicago. A relaxed well loved feel about the place.
Fantastic! The best time! Go there when Vance Kelly is performing. Just do it!
Management is suspect. Showed proof of vaccination and they thought it was fake and turned us away. We came all the way from Tennessee to see a friend play and we couldnt.
Great sight lines, top-notch sound, and excellent service behind the bar! Excellent blues club.
Great music, a very intimate setting with the artists.. wonderful people running the place.
Awesome blues place in intimate settings. Get there by 8 for the 9/9:30 start. You wont be disappointed!
One of my absolute favorite live music venues in Chicago. The staff is friendly, the owner is a sweetheart and the music is always outstanding.
Love this place. Great music, friendly crowd, amazing staff... a neighborhood and city institution.
Good beer, great band. Find out whos playing before you make it your destination.
Small, intimate, cozy and friendly. You cant go wrong here. Arrive early for good seating.
