I had a blast!! Best part is the basement which felt like Matrix underground party. I loved it.Very welcoming, inclusive, respectful.Drinks 🍹 were good. Awesome bartenders.🍻🥇Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

I come to Cleveland every now and then for a quick getaway. This is by far one of the best bars in town. Diverse crowd, awesome drag shows, cheap (yet strong) Drinks. Parking isnt a hassle. I can go on. I would leave other places just to come here.

Came to the bar. Second door was locked. We didn’t see the sign for the buzzer to be rang. Some either employee or a local with a scooter and green hair condescendingly told us that we had to ring the buzzer and that the sign was blatantly obvious. And they all were watching us through the camera. We are not from here. Didn’t know the procedure but the guy was a jerk. So if you’re traveling and need an LGBTQ+ establishment with either friendly patrons or employees, this ain’t the place.

Went last night omg I had a ball I didnt even know this place existed. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. Its a cool Vibe.

Quant speakeasy style bar in a quiet part of Cleveland. Two pool tables, a tiny performance stage, half a dozen high tables, and no dance floor create a chill hangout bar without pretentiousness.The smoking patio is equipped with both open and covered areas, and a large heater for chilly Ohio nights.Theres also a small fee parking lot and easy street parking.

Very laid back and friendly during the week and if you like crowds it gets pretty busy on Friday and Saturday Nights. They also serve pretty good food on select nights currently its Spaghetti and meatballs every Friday 5-8 until mid February. The bartenders are super friendly and funny and the drinks are reasonably priced.

Tommy is fantastic!Just landed in town from the good Ole show me state and he took care of me. When the bars around you are closed on your flight landing I would highly recommend this spot for a drink.One quick note is that youve gotta ring a doorbell to get in. I was genuinely confused by that at first tbh

Laid back, friendly, neighborhood bar. Ring the doorbell to be let in! Once inside, wow, is everyone friendly! Within minutes we knew everyon who walked through the door.Upstairs and downstairs bars, and partially shaded patio.

Was having a good time until the bar tender decided he was done with touch tunes and turned off the jukebox to play old dirt music after I paid to play my songs. Not to mention lots of songs are filtering out anyway. Probably won’t be back anytime soon :/

Good local gay bar, nothing fancy really blue collar. But welcoming. Can see drag shows, Karaoke, and other events

I have a great time every time I visit! Its a lively atmosphere, and everyone is really nice. I just wish they served food! On the weekend I saw my first drag show. It was really fun!!! And I plan on visiting Wednesday for karaoke night. Ill keep you guys posted! Recommendation- Eat before you go! Relax, enjoy yourself!

Stop here often. Love the bartenders and crowed. Grill nights are great too. Need more great bars like this in akron and Cleveland.

Uhhhh I tried to call to see if they had karaoke for our gay (male) friend. A man answered the phone announcing that it was Cocktails, and after i said do you have karaoke tonight? And instantly after, the line went silent and i havent been able to get a dial tone since (straight to mailbox not set up message). I asked my wife to call on her own phone and it went through until she spoke, and then she recieved similar treatment to me. I think the bartender blocked us based on our female sounding voices??? Because its a gay bar, and maybe that means women and trans men arent welcome??? Thats the only thing i can think of. Really weird. Hopefully our experience is abnormal. But I cant recommend this place based on that.

Terrifically hospitable staff, plenty of space for social distancing (also well-followed and enforced). The inside of the bar has a lot of character — be sure to visit the basement bar when its open! The patio is lovely — lots of space with good exposure to the sun, but easily shaded from about 3 to sunset thanks to the climbing ivy offering a canopy from the sun during later hours of the afternoon

Last night I went with my girlfriends to celebrate a birthday. I did not like the atmosphere. The bartender seemed very impatient. My group was taking their time figuring out what they wanted to drink. I was the first to order and the bartender asked me if my friends were going to order anything because there was a 1 drink purchase requirement for being in his bar. The way he said it to me rubbed me the wrong way. He was not helpful when my friend was asking about a drink she has never had. Instead, caused frustration for her because she needed to know about the ingredients for health reasons. It was definitely not a busy night. For being such a slow night, I would have thought he would have shown more appreciation for our business with him. We did enjoy the back patio where their was ample seating. I found the drink prices to be very reasonable. There were couple pool tables available for anyone who wanted to play inside. He did have the TV’s turned on with the games playing. It seems like it could be a fun place, but I wish the bartender wasn’t so picky about his business.

Fun place. Very laid back and very friendly. Went to the other 4 gay bars in the area and wasnt talked to at all. Our Bartender at Cocktails Cleveland talked to us and introduced us around. It is a bit older and out of date inside but no pretense.Oh! You need to get buzzed in you cant just walk in. Felt like an old private club instead of a modern business.

Good drinks. Friendly staff. 2 pool tables and a small covered patio. Parking is limited. Neighborhood feel. Would recommend for a night out with your buds. Not so much a date destination.

Nice old style gay neighborhood bar. Not the best of neighborhoods, but bartenders are good about keeping panhandlers and trouble makers out. I prefer happy hour as nights tend to be handed over to drag and karaoke. Just a personal preference for music and conversation over bad singing and entertainment. Nice patio and downstairs bar on the weekends.

Cheap drinks, was pretty empty on an early Saturday afternoon but the staff was nice and the space was great size with lots of decorations (loved cloud ceiling)

White chubby older bartender on 09/16/19 at 12Am was super rude to me and my friend, overcharging us for our Drinks. I’m under the impression that perhaps he thought we were substantially intoxicated. However, it was an interaction that didn’t make me feel welcome nor did it rub me the right way. I won’t be returning to this location ever again!!!! I should warn you to not come to this place in Sunday’s which is when he bartenders!!!! Harassment as it best!!!!

Got asked to leave the bar 5 seconds after walking in when bar hopping for a friends birthday because we wanted to decide what to drink first before buying. Walked outside to leave and the place was surrounded by cop cars with a lady holding a child crying that wasnt there when we walked in and have heard several mostly bad things about this place. Dont plan on going back anytime soon.

Got to love a good local bar with all types of entertainment and people. Great place for an after work drink or to hang out for the many events that they host each and every weekend. Drinks are good and inexpensive. Crowd is friendly and diverse.

This bar is great, never any drama. If you want a strong drink, order the long island, we named them strong islands as theyre filled with so much liquor that one will get you tipsy depending how much of a drinker you are.

Love this bar... they know how to pour a drink (and NOT over charge you! ), and the staff AND the patrons are ALWAYS friendly... very easy to meet new people here and have a relaxing good time!

Drink prices are decent, usually entertainment of some sort every night, including karaoke twice a week. Not a classy joint; typical gay dive bar, but good atmosphere

Cocktails Cleveland is a Gay bar frequented by mostly middle-aged and senior Gay men. The drinks are very good and the staff is very friendly. They have DRAG shows on Fridays and Saturdays and sometimes on certain holidays. They also have KARAOKE on Sundays 10 PM til closing and again on Wednesdays 10 PM til closing.

This is a great fun place to go! The LGBTQ staff that run the bar are friendly and the community that frequents the bar are too. Great drinks! Awesome drag shows! Go and support!

Cocktails Cleveland has karaoke on Sunday and Wednesdays they have drag shows on Fridays and Saturdays its a lot of fun they always do things on Saturdays and Sundays Friday Saturdays and Sundays fun place to hang out its also good place to hang out for good gay family and fun as a gay bar is one of the best ones and the city of Cleveland and the state of Ohio cocktails Cleveland

Stopped in for a drink Sunday night at 6:00. Food was spread lavishly. I grabbed a piece of pepperoni pizza and the food police immediately confronted me stating a one drink minimum. I said no problem. I asked for a Manhattan which the bartender didnt know how to make. I ordered a Makers Mark and coke. I finished my pizza and handed my drink back to bartender. $5.50 for a mediocre piece of pizza. I wont be back.

Good karaoke on Sundays and Wednesdays, heated smoking patio where you can take your drinks.If youre into drag shows, they usually have them Fridays and Saturdays.

This is the third time with in a year ( moved here from the west coast ) that the bartenders have “ cleared “ or thrown out my drinks while I went to use the facilities while sitting at the bar. Yes I informed said bartenders what I was doing then they played stupid. Which I am calling BS that’s ok there are other gay bars and they are always Accomidating . As a result you will not be getting any of the National gay bowling leagues money this year I’ll be sure if it.

Cocktails is hit or miss depending on the night and the crowd but it is one of my favorite places to visit in Cleveland on a good night, the drinks are pretty good and cheap too

Karaoke Wednesday is the night for me. Primarily African American clientele. The bartenders are always miserable but this is Cleveland. So, by Cleveland standards they get 4 stars.
