Great bar, Great staff. Definitely a safe place to be yourself. Its a friendly and welcoming bar for all people. I highly recommend. And the karaoke is great, if youre lucky you might catch one of the talented bartenders singing!

Itd be nice if they restricted smokers to the front patio area away from the bar area so when patrons are here during the summer we arent being hit by smoke ever other second.Especially considering they restrict patrons to the patio during the warmer months so we have no where else to sit or go....

Incredible vibes. Fun. Karaoke Fridays and buckeye donuts right down the street. A perfect Friday night!

Nice space and great staff. Good selection of beers, bottle and draft. Nicely priced cocktails too. Patio open year round, enclosed and heated during the non-construction months (winter). Karaoke and other events happen weekly. Tell them I sent you. Sainte!

The tenders and patrons have always been warm and welcoming. The ambiance is lovely and unpretentious. The drinks can be a bit overpriced, but that helps prevent some folks from having one too many so I wont complain.

This is probably the best bang for your buck bar in German Village. The atmosphere is always sociable and theres a pretty good tap selection. Huge patio space with great winter coverage for the smokers / social smokers / willing second-handers.

This use to be my go to bar, and her in the last few years my husband, and myself get treated like garbage almost every single time, and when I bring it to someone’s attention, and instead of her having someone call me! She says they either like or they don’t!!! She blocked me after I put her on blast on Facebook for the treatment she had given me! I still haven’t gotten a call from the other! They will never get a penny from me! I haven’t been to south bend in 3 years, because of similar treatment! Do better!!!

Wore a kilt at this Irish Pub didnt get a very good reception but I dont care I thought kilts and Irish went hand in hand I could be wrong but Ill take it in stride Im not that insulted by it or insecure Ill wear them again it seems appropriate for me to do so

I scored some brewskies here during a bad snow storm because I can always count on these guys to be open when they say they will. Vincent was very accommodating and extremely attractive.

Visited Cavans on Sunday 5/17/20 at around 6:30pm. Decided Id check out the bar after I had a drink at The Toolbox. I knew there would only be service on the patio so I decided to stop in. I was greeted by a bartender with the words. DO YOU HAVE A MASK!! I did, since I was wearing a blue bandana which doubles as a mask. I looked around the patio which was empty except for four white guys siting at a table without masks. Seemed odd since I was asked to supply one. I told the bartender never-mind since 1. he didnt require the white patrons to wear a mask and 2. I ve had problems with this bartender before. I guess some bartenders are USING. COVID TO PRACTICE RACISM AGAINST BLACK PATRONS. They wont be getting anymore of my money. Im too old for that nonsense!!!!

Tis a nice clean place, fun karaoke, but the bar staff sometimes lacks friendliness. Most of the customers are friendly, a few are typical attitude queens... they can be overlooked ;)

The bar staff are always nice from all of my experiences here. Its a bar that I feel comfortable in and can just relax and chill and let the good times roll.

Such a great crowd to watch RuPaul’s Drag Race on Thursday nights. After RuPaul they play a corny movie hosted by a fabulous drag queen that will gave you dying with her commentary.

It might be a fun bar during the rest of the year, but don’t attempt on Pride weekend. Understaffed, disorganized, long waits for watered down drinks.

Nice atmosphere but the bartender couldn’t make a Manhattan....said they didn’t have the right ingredients. What kind of bar doesn’t have whiskey vermouth and bitters?or did he just not know how to make it?

L&L is actually Cavan Irish Pub, for some reason Google cannot figure that out. Cavan Irish Pub has always been a favorite stop for a fun Gay Cheers-esque time. They have 12 Drafts that are always changing which is great. Always an event going on so definitely worth checking out. Good Times and Fun Open People make Cavan Irish Pub Awesome.
