The Savoy online marketing and voicemail claimed yesterday (Friday) the club was going to be open once again for Afrobeat style music starting at 10:30pm. However, when my wife and I drove up to the club at 11:30pm it was completely CLOSED. We saw several other confused ladies walking away in disbelief. If you havent recovered since Covid then fine up just ensure your marketing reflects the reality of what your offering. Thanks
Fun night we had a blast. One thing though we were on the dance floor next to some women that were just standing there. No two stepping nothing. Standing there with frowns. I guess they were mad no body was trying to holler at them. One had on a bathing suit type outfit. Guess she thought she was Beyoncé. My cousin bumped her as we were dancing. Now that kind of thing happens all the time on a dance floor. Its usually not a problem. But oh girl told my cousin with an attitude oh you bumped me ...my sassy cousin was like ok and.....I mean we were on the dance floor. So we kept dancing with guys and with each other. Guys buying drinks. We were living are best life. All the while these broads still standing there looking thirsty and mad. No drinks in hand nothing. At the end of the night we were walking out conversating with some guys. One of my cousins said she noticed them girls park in front in they old impala staring at us. We hit the corner still talking as we walk to our car. These hair hat broads hit the corner with one standing out the moon roof and started throwing glass bottles at us. We told them get out the car if they had issues. Long story short they wouldn’t get out. So We had a blast that night but the haters were definitely in the house. My thing is why come to a club and stand in the middle of the dance floor and expect not to be bumped. Weirdos.
This establishment is Excellent. They saved my life.. The owners booked my party same day, due to another establishment canceled on me last minute for my daughters birthday party. The staff were very nice & friendly. Armed Security went above and beyond. I was very impressed and pleased. The building was clean and spacious. Great business and location. I would definitely recommend this venue
I was summoned to the Savoy last night for my Queens Best friends birthday, Happy Birthday Talia. Another great night @ The Savoy once again, with beautiful woman and my boy DavonThe Savoy is for Grown, Mature & Sexxy with some handsomeness such as myself. There is a certain standard of greatness I look for in everything I involve myself with, and if that is the way you go about LIFE, well come enjoy yourself solo or with that special someone @ The Savoy.P.S. they also have awesome comedy specials through the week too.
It was fun. The crowd has changed over the years. Drinks are just ok, expensive for what you get. Prefer other venues in the area... and prefer long beach bars/clubs by far! Savoy was better years ago. Now it just seems people dont go there. Staff is too young. Need more experience, I think, but go and see before you go off of my review because your taste might be different. 💁🏽♀️
Went for a concert spend $70 total including drinks and admission still wasn’t enough for a seat. I literally had to buy a seat for $100. I had to stand up the whole night. Damped my fun, I won’t be returning.
Jon was AMAZING to work with. I had reached out to him last minute about being the DJ for our wedding. Originally, he was unavailable, but took the time to reach out to all of his DJ friends for their availability. Due to COVID, the other wedding canceled and he reached back out to us. He had a charming, professional personality and we knew we had to book with him. We played such a great variety of music to keep everyone on the dance floor all night long. He was able to read the crowd and play songs to match the vibe of the crowd. He had such an upbeat energy that spread to all the guests! Got so many complements on him and would highly highly recommend him to anyone!!!
Had an awesome time! Every night has a different theme, which is nice for those who do the night life often and appreciate variety. Great music, nice people, and accommodating service from the staff. Although there were a few upsets in the beginning of the night, such as the VIP table which cost around $550 had glass on the floor and some of the glasses set aside for drinking were not polished, but after everything was said and settled we had a great night.
Aaron Belyeu Sr the security guard here works with law enforcement to entrap all the scammers and drug dealers to get them arrested. Be aware ! Dont do any business with Aaron Belyeu Sr, I have paperwork on him that he is a informant for the LAPD CRIME DIVISION UNIT. He is 55 years old and claims to be a Crip from compton but has gotten over 17 individuals arrested.
Had an awesome time the DJ really surprised me had me on my feet the entire time, I was there. My bartender was nice only took me two drink and I was done. Everybody look like they enjoyed there selves. Grab a water and left great spot. (Friday Night)
The floors seem to never be cleaned thoroughly, however the night life lighting is great, and if you go on Tuesday they have $1 tacos out back that are delicious. Friendly, beautiful bartenders and waitresses, also a tight and well communicative security team.
Clean, plenty of seating, and friendly workers. I visited on Soulful Sunday and if you are a Stepper or into Ballroom Dancing Sunday night is for you. I dont know how to dance like that; so youre basically just going to watch because the men knows who steps. I was ok with it because all that spinning and twirling I probably would throw up anyway. 😄
I recently attended an event to see one of my favorite Nigerian artists. Normally, places Ive visited that were a club/music venue were usually smaller and I was stuck by how big the space was. The event started quite late, however it was phenomenal. Special shout out to the catered meal that I had there. It was certainly something to write home about.
It sad that y’all opened back up with me owners and it is empty on a Taco Tuesday night and plus Joe Moses is supposed to perform tonight. This is not the Savoy Taco Tuesday I’m used to. It seems like on your Instagram page you’re not posting the events that are happening.
Went on a Tuesday. Big crowd, early arrival suggested. Got inside around 11pm was charged $10. Drinks are to expensive. Taco truck was good. Nice music and plenty of women.
This club is casual. People still dress up though. The charge is 15$ after 11pm. They play reggae, hip hop, and R&B. Tons of fun! It gets hot if youre dancing. Its a place where everyone wants to have a good time, judgement free.
I went for my birthday and I have to say: The line was very long!!!!! I waited for over an hour just to get in. I got in line at 10pm and did not enter until 11:15pm The staff (security) was very rude to people. I had bottle service and it was my birthday and I was told I still had to wait in line. Once inside it was pretty cool and a fun atmosphere, but their customer service sucks.
It was my first time in there but heard about it plenty of times from my nieces/ nephews and their friends. They do have regular live bands / artists performances which is nice. I went there for Afrobeat night which was postponed but I still enjoyed the music the DJ played. The place is very spacious, varied seat setup, stocked bar, decent size dance floor etc... only critique is it could use some upgrade furniture wise. The material on the seats and booths is peeling/ torn / worn out so it kind of looks rundown. Some sprucing up here, a lil upgrade there would do wonders IMHO!!
Super cool place. Free all night on Tuesdays and Fridays. Crowd is mostly African American but there are other races too. Ages range a lot too 21+. Real cool place. I personally like Tuesdays best thats when the most young ppl are there ....
Nice place younger crowd I went on taco Tuesday. They say free b4 11pm but they make you stand outside for what seems like hours in a long line. Then you get inside and the place is empty. My guess is they want that $10 cover. But I would have rather just pay the cover than having to stand for such a long time in a not so safe neighborhood. But once everyone makes it inside its a massive crowd. The drinks are somewhat expensive but not too much more than other clubs. If you dont mind partying with the 20 something crowd youll have fun. They also have valet parking which put you at the front of the huge line.
Sucks..Over priced. Charge $40 for a Polo casual hat..I didnt know they charge. I thought Sundays was free. I was recommended to this entertainment center as I am a promoter. I seen other customers in there with baseball hats. I asked other customers in the venue with baseball hats how much they paid? They said, they didnt pay. The dude at the front named Bobby told me it was about capitalism. Weak and bad customer service. I WILL NEVER EVER COME BACK TO YOUR CLUB. I guess he was able to pay a bill. You welcome Bobby.
EVERY time I come here on a Tuesday I have the best time! I love the dj DreGhost and the fact that theres a patio with a taco truck. The staff is all cool except for the one bouncer who guards the side bar on the main dance floor where the pretty girl bartends and he expects everyone to throw their own empty cups in the trash instead of leaving them on the bar top. Im not in charge of clean up but I do tip for every drink I get. Dont tell me to pick up my cup and throw it away! Somebody check him this aint McDonalds
Lets just start with the fact that the dance floor is nice BUT EMPTY!! $20 Cover and you get inside and it is TRASH!! NEVA COMIN BACK HERE! waste of my black $
Atmosphere was great! Great vibes! Poetry night was Very entertaining with poetry, live comedy performance , and live music. Then dance floor opened up afterwards. I thought this was the total package. I would definitely recommend stopping by.
Im at the comedy show on Wednesday night and the show is great comedians are on point but tell me why they still selling tickets online for regular seats and there is no seating and they let people smoke marijuana inside the place causing my cousin to have an asthma attack. I was told by keisha that she would have a waitress bring seats for us but she never did that. I dont understand why establishment like this always have to be ghetto. Smdh
The establishment needs IMMEDIATE remodeling, repairs and cleaning. From the chairs to the restroom, it was unclean. As Judge Mathis would say, Its nasty! I wanted to try the tacos, but when I saw the conditions of the establishment, there was NO WAY Id use a napkin from this venue. Its unfortunate because they host some enjoyable events, which I attended The Flypoet Showcase. Thats why I gave them 2 stars, for their lineup. Otherwise, I wouldve chosen 0 stars!
It is in need of a deep cleaning, and seems that they only focus on patrons that purchase VIP spots. Very dissatisfied with the drinks. The margarita mix was old and tasted funny and they refused to make it right. I will not revisit this place not recommend it.
Grrrrrreat!!!! I go here pretty frequently. This place is large, big dance floor, and plenty seats. I pick and choose my nights that I go. Its usually Friday night (Afrobeats) or Sunday night (Kingston Sundays... Caribbean night). However I went last night (Saturday) and I still had a blast soooo. Who knows... maybe Ill make Saturday a regular thing, maybe not 🤷🏾♀️. Probably not but it sounded good 😂.
I love the music and the atmosphere. I only go on Friday and Sunday. WHAT I DONT LIKE THOUGH is the fact that I keep getting charged at the door when it says free cover. I went on a Sunday no special event was going on and I was charged. Sundays are supposedly free unless its a special event. I think if you gona change that at whim then notify that will happen.
Poor door service! I read about it in a few reviews and sadly experienced it for myself. Imagine paying $35 for a ticket and being told if you step outside and re enter u have to pay again. Ridiculous! Also upon entering there was no seating available meanwhile half the seats were reserved and empty. Crazy! I gladly left and went elsewhere.
I got the impression that the majority of the people in the club were not from L.A. I would guess Jamaica, Trinidad, Belize, etc. I liked the crowd. The D.J. had some very fancy and seemingly expensive equipment. The crowd was standing around waiting for the DJ to get the party started.
My go -to spot for African music once in a while!!!!! whoa! i always have so much fun with my friends. This African music special is only on Fridays, by DJ Lentini. Sometimes other Deejays stop by; but he is the main one to come. African celebs usually come through while in town. Its really a nice way to enjoy your Friday night.Be aware that while the crowd is really cool, (at least in my experience) you must keep all your personal belongings in your trunk. My friends car once got broken into and all her stuff was stolen including her ID.I recommend taking uber there or valet parking (with nothing in the car).I like the VIP tables over there. I always have a good time, like I said! enjoy!
So, I went on a Saturday night hoping for a big or at least decent crowd. The line was short so we got in quick. Maybe it’s because i’m from the east coast but it was trash. They played a couple of new songs (migos, cardi) but the rest of the playlist was a bit old. The crowd was much older. The guys had gold teeth and dressed like Paul Wall the rapper, the girls were ... idk. Very different crowd I’d say. Maybe it just wasn’t the right night to go. Best of luck to ya!!
If you want to turn up properly on Taco Tuesday or Freaky Friday THIS is the SPOT. Dope music, well priced drinks, and wild atmosphere. Everybody lit. Just watch for 5-0, because they are on EVERY single corner in the area. Lol.
I loved the vibe of this club. The music was on point, I only wish they played more African music through out the night. They only played one song by whizkid towards the end, but other then that it is a beautiful club inside ,very elegant... and friendly ppl.
It was Afrobeat night the one time i went and it was worth all the hype! DJs were on point (shout out to DJ Lentini). I didnt particularly like how hot it was, air conditioning didnt seem to be working well so it got stuffy really quickly. Aside this I liked everything else. Cocktails were awesome. I would definitely visit again next time I am in town. Huge Afrobeat fan so yes all the way.
Love this place! Always great music, cool ppl, strong drinks and a patio in the back for smoking 😉 just make sure u get there early because after 11pm you pay a door fee and the line gets pretty long!
This place has completely gone downhill. I think I was slipped a mickie by the Bartenders who was high as a kite . The next morning I had no idea what happened after a point that night. The music was sub-par . The crowd was a mix of all ages and a little slow and rough around the edges.
Been here several times. Not the same crowd. No tacos. Surprised to see dudes in casual wear for New Years Eve. Felt robbed for paying 40.00 entry, then 15.00 for a mini sized dixie cup of watered down alcohol.
Had a great time SATURDAY NIGHT!! Just dont go there thirsty because the liquids there are COSTLY!!!! A bottle of water was $5 & it wasnt even a high-end brand. The dj was great kept me on the floor from Midnight when i got there til when i left, which was around 1:30a.The TACOS there ARE AMAZING!!!
Good decor, great DJ, and pretty good food. I dont drink alcohol so I dont care about that just virgin stuff for me. However if youre man coming to dance with a girl youre gonna get disappointed most of the girls are there to just be eye candy, wall flowers, are married, dating some dude or sadly to many want other girls (they on the lesbian tip). I feel the place would benefit from a true singles night also it would be beneficial if the DJ actually asked the women and men to dance together like dis used too. They used to say every guy grab a girl etc. if its youre birthday get on the floor that doesnt really happen. Its to me a example of how anti social and materialistic we have become as a society we have become.I dont expect the staff to control everyone to make them dance. However its getting rediculous even around 12 most guys can be clearly seen standing on the walls. Many guys get shot down immediately at this club and the girls dance in huddles or sitting while dressing sexy the whole time. Basically as a guy you come there to watch a girl but you cant actually dance with her. ok so Im done but dont think I hate the club just want them to think about the guys too Im just saying what other guys wont it aint just me. Im only saying this so they can maybe get some survey or something of how things could be better.I dont want to inspire drinking so thats not my point but we need social events especially as people of color who are jaded as we already are with each other peace say this blessing Jesus is lord
I rate it 1 star only because of favoritism. I love rap and the music, staff, and crowd are all great but its this.. On Mardi Gras we came here and i was wearing a hat. Security said i couldnt get in with one. I love wearing hats and even offered to pay extra but they said no. I go in there and about a quarter of the club had hats. Used to swear by this place but will not be returning. Aside from that, if you are a guy who isnt friends with security (those are the only people who get to break rules) and doesnt have a problem not wearing a hat then this is the place to go.
Show started EXTREMELY LATE!!! Club chairs, floors and bathrooms are disgusting! This place needs serious renovations. The show ended up being good. Dont know if I will continue to support this venue
Music is loud and the dance floor is spacious. They have a big smoking area outside and inside the club and area to buy food. They have free cover for certain nights before 1130, they have different themes.
Although this club is in the heart of Inglewood, this is the most secure and fun night club you will go within 5 square mile and they also accommodate every race and ethnicity. Another reason to be here is there music with multiple background like Afro, Dancehall, Reggae and hip hop. Finally, the food and those tacos will get you jumping...
Very Bad customer service from the overweight security guard! On 10/11/19 at 22:30 I and my girlfriend traveled over 50minutes to Savor for some african food. It’s very disappointing and disrespectful how the armed security guard ignored me when I asked him about parking as free parking was advertised on Instagram, after parking same security guard turned us away because according to him I can’t get In with shorts on.
Always a good time, music popping, taboo truck has good tacos and toppings, free birthday table gives your party experience stability and its local to the urban LA community. Can get crowded and rowdy but for the most part its a cool hip hop and reggae/African music club
This place is not for the average party goer. The crowd is mostly Africans/black and a ton of ratchet women. Drinks are to expensive. The only positive is the music and taco truck.Forgot to mention, watch them Stick Up Boys when walking to your car. They are out there looking to rob you.
I feel the clubs is ok but food and drinks are little high. But if you like to party. Party on and thats a great atmosphere for it. All ages welcome. No children. 21 above
I enjoyed Comedy Night with guest star Michael Blackson. Im happy that they offer valet parking as well. The only complaint is not enough seating inside and we got there 30 mins early!😐
Despite the club needing some renovations to the furniture it was kool. We had a VIP section so that was what made the night #lit and we for sure had bottle service (bottles) so didnt need to bother nobody and was in our own world partying!!
Security staff with incompetent and they don’t know how to do their job. April 5th Friday night, I go to savoy only to be humiliated by security staff because they felt that I didn’t look like the picture on the I’d and even tried to say they knew then girl on the ID. Which is false because I’m the girl on the ID I just lost 60 pounds I even have proof that it’s my ID and they still wouldn’t let me in because they didn’t want to admit they were wrong. They made me resight whAt was on my ID and I even had pictures of my bigger self and my face with no makeup. I had my ID checked by a guard up the street and he could clearly tell it was me. Savoy step your security up because they don’t know how to do their job. Will never be back at that club. Sad thing is I’ve been many times before and never had a problem. They lost a 25 year old customer who don’t need a fake ID to get in anywhere.
A Cool, Lively, Urban or intercity, Classy environment at The Savoy! Staff are polite, and music is Great! Best hip-hop club in L.A. county by far! Taco Tuesdays & Hip hop Saturdays are my favorite!
Bad service, rude owner, expensive but no good. I wont go there anymore. Sorry. Waitress was drunk serving us. Crazy place and pricey, however, you dont get your money worth. I had a bottle service and just wasted my $300 x 3 days.
Went to the poetry night IT WAS AMAZING!!I had a great time and the poets were awesome. I totally recommend going to this event. -tip arrive early seating is very limited.
Just a hole in the wall, although its very nice on the inside. Well lit and decorated. It is a hit and miss with the DJ. Alot of under 21 and above 40 in attendance. No need to get dressed all up
Went for a birthday celebration, upon leaving a fight starting to erupt on one block , got in my car to take some friends to their car, around another corner, right in front of me bunch guys white t-shirts and jeans and some in dress cloths throwin up gang signs, out comes guns, bullets flying i had to back up with people hanging out my car door, could get away fast enough, Im cool on that club. I thought it was 35 and up Im in my fifties dont need the drama!!!!!
I was on a date. We danced alllllll night on a taco Tuesday! Staff was friendly, which is a challenge to find sometimes! Drinks were good, I even enjoyed the taco truck!
I have shared wonderful memories on Wednesday nights with my friends Corey Holcomb, Luenell, Sean Elliott, Mario Hodge and have met Chris Spencer, Spike Lee, Faison Love and many more ... #actorslife #radiohost #hollywoodlife 🎬📽🎧🎙✌ (Deno Brown Entertainer)
Great place for Caribbean music on Friday nights. I recommend getting there before 11 or 11:30 so you dont have to pay the $15 cover.
Taco Tuesday is awesome and so is security, but they have over priced drinks and are over crowded. The music is not diverse. Definitely a hood spot.
Will the real comedians please stand up! The line up every Wednesday is something special, I mean these comedians were born funny, the host knows what hes doing, great OG comedians and great upcoming as well, superior straight up!
Great place to go on friday nights for afrobeats. Everypne is there just to have fun and no drama. Waitresses are attentive and there are seats available when you need a break.
Taco Tuesday,-wednesday comedy night,-thursday hip hop night,Friday reggae,Saturday I forgot Sunday reggae night the Savoy is off the chain the security guards are strict so dont come with any bull and everybody can dance and have allot of fun so please visit the Savoy where the party begins
Its a nice venue open lay out. Vip sections around the main dance floor and in back. I went for Tank show. It was all right. They appear to have events every week. I will visit again
This is just a dump 😒 pathetic bouncers especially the female ones were rude, ghetto & stole money from my bag that i left in the bathroom, guys are wanna be’s, Black Girls r gorgeous just missing some class, subpar menu/cocktails...I suggest the management sell it.Fake African vibe not sorry ✌🏾
Tacos are good on Tuesdays. The crowd is raunchy, and they sometimes charge. The drinks are overpriced and watered down and they dont believe in Air Conditioning.
Its the turn up in the hood so much fun the best music on Tuesday and Saturday best tacos ....just pre game the drinks are kinda high price
Disappointing! Back in the day this place was jumpin.. Now a days its an embarrassment. They claim Reggae but now they are playing African Fridays hardly Dancehall anymore once DETOUR POSSE left the scene not much happening the only reason why I have it 3 stars is that they have awesome Jamaican performers.
Dj mixing for Reggae nite was choppy...Didnt blend well...killing the vibe and dance movements.the Crowd was young and middle age group...people kept dropping their drinks on the dance floor..clean up was prompt but again taking away the vibe of dancing freely...Awkward...Overall...it was an adventurous nite...The restroom host was nice and offered a variety of freshing up products...She also tidy up the place and lit some candles creating a great vibe...The food hostess was also pleasant
Love it.. Always a good time at Savoy. Best days are taco Tuesday and reggae Sundays. Drinks and decent and the security it tight!
Its a nice place, but they are ALWAYS LATE starting their events. Never let you in on time. You be standing outside for an hour and they need to do better!
The Savoy sucks the owner is greedy hold up line so they can charge doesnt stick to the flier presented before opening very rude 2 party guest kept changing the price for the bottle service one minute it was 225 then it was 200 then went from 200 to 230 then why the line was crowded that was trying to book people to go in front of the crowd so that they can make more money before letting people in free and instead of fries before 11 they started charging way before 11 I reserved a table and they still try to make me wait in line so that me and my crowd could pay they technically messed up my birthday I will never booked any parties there ever again in their tacos was not all that Not only was the drinks expensive but they were watered down my niece asked for a Hennessy and Coke and they gave her Coke and water my drink was too that place is bad business all around they thrive of of greed parking was 5 they went up to 10 just to hustle the people they wanted gratuity lol a handout really but treated me and my party guest horrible the Savoy caused 4 of my friends to leave they were so rude do yourself a favor stay outta that ghetto club I attended 10_22_2016.. Jonathan the owner u a greedy dude ull have today and Chris not koo u suck ass worst experience ever I slept on it before this they suck
The Savoy is always fun. Great music, people dancing, pop-up celebrities (Meaku, Wande Coal, etc. was there when I went)and the staff are mostly friendly. And the security got jokes!!! Although people say its rachet, I always have a great time at the Savoy. You should visit for yourself and see how good it really is.
I am a local resident in this Inglewood neighborhood. Frequently I pass by the club. I have not yet gone in due to being a SWF in my fifeties. Imagine?!! From the outside looking in I am very tempted. From the middle of the week into the weekend there is a well dressed crowd, an impressive sound system, sophisticated doorman and security people (red velvet ropes) and gorgeous neon reflecting an ambiance typical to a Manhatten nightclub. This is a perfect location to choose for booking black tie events. An innovativeapproach for planning private parties for memorable celebrations. This club is the real thing for music lovers of hip hop ect. ect.One day soon, I wont be able to resist the energy and draw of this charismatic club. Regaurdless of being a SWF.
Really enjoyed myself spacious club served food didnt try any but looked good drinks nothing special I dont think good music ppl still stand around like most places I think i paid 15 at the door not bad I went on Friday and Sunday for reggae night prob will be back
Another great place with a lot of potential but owners don’t put money back into place! Very spacious club.. outdated furniture and decor!! Step it up your a staple in the black community!
I been going here fr awhile now. Its cool nice atmosphere, great music, & great drinks. Bottle services is the absolute the best
Great Comedy show ! The Savoy needs to STEP UP their game and get those busted benches fixed and Re-upholster!! A lady sat down and almost toppled over because the legs bent inward.
Very spacious. When i went they were selling food that was so delicious. Curry shrimp, curry chicken,m mac n cheese, rice and potatoes yummmmyyy
Need new security gaurds because They somehow cant differentiate right from wrong!! Theyre very unprofessional and ruthless. The club would definitely be better if they had better attitudes.
Eek! Okay. The Savoy could really monopolize since LA doesnt really have an urban night life scene but they need some renovations PRONTO. Its spacious and could really be something special if they had the money to do it.
Good place to go to get your dance on all ways packed with people. I love Tuesdays they tacos or so freaking good and they only a $1
First time at the Savoy, visiting from SD. Very impressed. Large dance floor with many places to sit. Loved the vibe.
Love Love Love Spoken Word on Friday night. Its only once a month. I make sure I mark my calender. Im never disappointed only entertained.
Reggae night Sundays @ Savoy the DJ played a variety of carribean hits and they had a large assortment of authentic carribean dishes to order with your drinks if you were in the mood for food.
It was good for a couple a minute and then a Harass from the staff security it sad because I was Celebrating a birthday laddy not a good Experian I try to explain to the supervisor and he didnt care it Took me be mad Disappointed to speak to another supervisor and he somehow understood
Went to Wednesday night Comedy hosted by Chris Spencer. The lineup every Wednesday is excellent however the place needs a serious make over.
If you are from the caribbean and dont mind experiencing a different type of music this place isnt so bad . However I would recommend that some caribbean music be played for example soca music .
Im over fifty went on a Saturday night for my daughter who turned 40 birthday party atmosphere is okay but not a great night to go on a Saturday lot of youngsters
Its chill out here after so long I havent been here its a big improvement with the place.
Its an okay Club the drinks were okay the security not so much because one of the security guards spit in my face why a lady security guard was taking me out for videoing in the club and all he had to do was say maam no videos in the club but he chose to spit in my face, not a place that I think that I would return to a recommend anyone to go
Loved the music but the food was nasty. Had z great time tho danced til I couldnt dance no more
Went on a taco Tuesday.. It was lit, DJs was real live, celebrities come through, drinks were made right and the tacos are bomb..
Went for the Konshens show. Cool Urban crowd. Felt safe inside although surroundings are a bit unsafe. Saw Police on patrol.
This venue is strictly for adults 21 years of age and over so if you buy any concert tickets make sure parties involved are of age and have ID present.
I would appreciate this place more if they had a better top shelf liquor selection. They charge top shelf prices for the cheap stuff. No es bueno en mi opinión
My car was messed with by someone putting something under the car in snatching on my transmission around the corner from the savoy on market and manchester it was a tow truck driver involved and my daughter ended up paying this crook a 100 dollars because our car wouldnt start when she left there anybody else had this problem because I seen him doing this before
Love this club Friday night African n regeea music and Saturday nights American its local n they have velvet and also I met my boyfriend there.
Good time, and lots of laughs!I also saw Jackson from Greys Anatomy. He was so nice.
Really nice place. It was Uncle Jammz night with lots of throwback tracks. Ice-T performed live. Casual, friendly and lot of boogie 🕺
Whomever answered the was rude.. Everyone knows you dont hang up in someones face when their asking a question youre not comfortable answering. Id have preferred you transferred me then coincidentally hung up on me #neveragain
My First Time There & I had A Ball It was So-oo-oo Comfortable A VERY NICE ATMOSPHERE... Ill Definitely Come Here Again!!!!!
A little to crowded for me,But they do have great shows. Go early unless you dont mind standing.
Comedy was outstanding, Ray Gray deserves all Stages in the world. Waitress need more personality and training.
Went on a Tuesday dollar tacos cool but over priced drinks were not... i ordered 1 beer 1 Hennessey and red bull 30$
Taco Tuesday is BACK IN FULL AFFECT. EXCEPT DIFFERENT taco people and they open @9 now..and its free til 10:30.
Please dont your time or money in this place . Hole in the Wall establishment. The advertised for hip hop Saturday not one hip hop song played
I celebrated my 41st bday and rung in the new year at the new renovated Savoy. Its worth the$$ and the wait. I would recommend the Savoy to anyone!!
Com venue but they could stand to invest a little in it. New chairs would be an awesome start as most of the chairs felt fairly unstable to sit in.
It was poppin but best when gonon Tuesday night club. Ill say it enough hand down rather Ryan Saturday because it dry
If you love African music.. this the place to go in LA.. i recommend taking an uber to this place of parking issues and leaving before the club officially closes...
Best Club in Inglewood or the South Bay area especially for Afro American community and Caribbean Community...Good music and comedy too...Hosted by Chris Spencer (Thursdays) and Reggae on Weekends
Wednesdays comedy night be on fire... The BBQ meat is good but the sides can do without
It was extremely hard on my feet I had to stand up for the entire 5 hours that I was there. Would have been better if there were chairs
Good DJs but the crowd is very very hood (trouble makers) and Security doesnt make it no better because a few of them are gang members as well as
African night is amazing on Fridays. The DJ plays a blend of many rythms from the Motherland to help you release the weekly stress.
THe music selection is sooooo good! Definitely had an amazing time and the staff are so kind and warm.
Its cool, only problem is that all the ratchet girls go there. They play great music so thats a plus.
Pretty fun Everytime i go ....& very good tacos and burritos...saturdays need more promotion....
Very nice atmosphere. Too crowded during the concert though but overall great place
I went to the open mic night and had a good time it wasnt packed but the show is pretty good
I dont know what to say about this gas station I went in for 10 and he gave me 20 but I did give him his $10 back in the lady behind me he did the same thing she wanted 10 and got 20.
I dont know what all the hype is about. Went there once and it was incredibly lame. Too hot, boring DJ.
One thing i learned is that losing your wallet, politely trying to contact the club to see if a lost wallet was found then come back a couple weeks later trying to forget the whole ordeal & have a couple drinks will get you banned by a sleazy, delusional security guard cause i just wanted to know if my wallet was found or not.
Drinks were a little expensive. First club that Ive been to where you had to pay to get back in if you went outside to cool off.
Had a wonderful time listening to The Comedians but the place needs remodeling the chairs the booths are raggedy the bathroom was not clean
Cool place, drinks are over priced but I like the sitting area and the dance floor so I guess I get what I pay for.
Not from Cali but had a good time here to hit the club on Taco Tuesday. Real LA hip hop/rap scene.
Nice atmosphere, great music, and bomb dtinks but a mixed crowd young and old heads lol
My first time going and the venue was really nice. Drinks were a little pricey for the location.
Freshly opened, fresh/fine bartenderettes, and fresh Raggae music me an my Wife were loving and dancing to
Good music danced all night drinks definitely high two little plastic cups for 18
I love this club. Great place for live entertainment. Good drinks. Drink specials are good also.
This is marketed as grown and sexy, but its really tired and sad. I wanted to have a birthday there, but it wouldve been quite embarrassing.
Love this place. Awesome vibe. Great music. Strong drinks. No thugging.
This is a nice club but it has been closed for at least the last 2-3months 😥
Terrible use to be the best taco tuesday in la the place has gone to trash so disappointed will never step foot again
Dont like that they try to slow the line down to make ppl pay at 1130 when taco Tuesday used to be free all night
The older Male bartender was very rude. His attitude ducked. He spoke to me as if I was his child.
The way the security and that big guy manager are, at the end of the night, pushing , yelling, and even getting into people faces. Ill never take my clients there again.
Comedy. Im here for it. But watch ya seat, you might stand up look around and sit back down into someones lap, they swipe seat so fast.
Another club goer got drunk and tried to steal my phone and coin purse. Security was slow in responding and they couldn’t find her.
Had fun I would go again but 20 is a bit much for a Cover to get in.
Good music party people. Old fashion pick up spot. Oh they clean up spilled drinks timely.
Went to the Savoy for my birthday celebration the staff member named Chris was very nice and kind the staff at the club was very nice
Went for my birthday.....Good music.Good vibes... you can wear what you want from my experience...
Had a great time at the live show and the drinks were tasty and reasonably priced.
The Fly Poet was awesome. The setting was nice. We really enjoyed it
I have fun here Wednesday is comedy night but you got to be full before you come
Securities were very rude. Have no respect for women. Dj kept saying too many bad words.
Long queue only to be told entrance fee for the night was $45 some unknown artist like seriously
Friday night Afrobeats with iamdjnicealex, dj major league and Tomitribe was awesome experience
Ratchet fun..thays all I can say oh but great chicken tacos on Tuesday and they are $1
His club is a bad club the male security gaurds men handle women push em spray em with mase so b very careful
Been here a couple of time , the atmosphere is dope. I love the afro vibes
Great place to kick it. Big location. People rude. People had jeans, tennis, and hats.
The new remodeled edition of the club is really nice & elegant. I had so much fun
Fun i hadnt been there in awhile. Love the remodel!! ✌
Need more something maybe better lights and dj to start with. But mostly ppl still hang out here
Good music, beautiful woman, and spacious enough. Door price is a little high though

It’s great on Afro beat nights; other nights I can’t say.
Love Taco Tuesday..good atmosphere always packed!
This is a happening spot! Live music stiff drinks and food vendors last time I came I had the jerk chicken legit
Wack DJ, crowd was too young, it was not a place to party, it was a place to kick it Tacos and drinks were excellent!!!
Wednesday Comedy great night. So much fun, food great.
Youll have a great time but the drinks are tooo expensive. $9.00 a Corona. 😑
I wanna no when is a good nite to go when its reggae & Nigerian music someone tell me please thanks
Too expensive for the hood! Beverly Hills prices, for a good club. Nothing to write home about.
The club was fine it was the ghetto patrons that I didnt like
Best nights are friday and sunday for afrobeats and reggae dancehall.
The music is relaxing . And their is always a crowd who want to go their
Nice clubbing environment..mixed crowd...great music
Do not put your number on their sheet. Constant spam. Club isnt worth the door cover.
Not as packed like it usually is but it was fun dancing to trap music lol!
Last night was poppin but taco Tuesday is better
