Ive only attended The Echo Lounge once for a concert. We arrived early since we were not sure how parking would be. We were allowed to park in Handicapped parking since we had a tag that was right on the side of the building. It was quick and easy parking. We had Handicapped seating in the balcony. When doors to the venue opened, the staff showed us to the elevator that went to the balcony. We were excited to try a new venue that just opened in Dallas. The bottom floor is standing room only, and you could get pretty close to the stage. Bars were located on the left as you walked into the bottom area. The balcony was very nice with limited seating and then standing room only on the sides. It was fun to look down at the venue and watch what was going on. In the balcony, there is a bar as you exit an elevator and also a restroom in that area. We enjoyed the concert and the sound was incredible. It was an easy out of parking lot and quick access to the 35 in Dallas. It was a fun time for all involved.

Great little venue! Parking is cheap and pretty easy. I dont drink so I cant comment on the prices or alcohol content of the drinks. They serve food, too! The venue personnel are friendly and the bathroom is clean and not tiny or trashed. My only complaint would be the chairs. Not very comfortable for a concert or long periods. Otherwise, great venue and experience with one of my favorite bands, Zebra!

Fantastic venue with an intimate stage set up. This was our second time attending a performance here, and its definitely in our top three! (We saw Medium Build and Cece Eliot this time, and Reliant K the first time)Prices are not bad at all for a concert venue, and there is almost no bad spot to stand when on the main floor.Well definitely be back!

Came here for the Bop To The Top event and it was a BLAST! the crowd had such good vibes. the line however to get in was not organized at all. the venue could definitely use some railings or even spray paint lines outside on the concrete so a proper line can be maintained and to avoid people cutting (which did happen a lot). drinks were also $22 each which was way too expensive

Excellent experience from this pocket sized venue! We took a Lyft because parking in Dallas....am I right? They use the lot to the Maverick facility right next door so there was plenty. The line through security moved quick and the staff were all super friendly. One bartender, Janine, also got my son and sister to a less crowded area when the crowd got overwhelming! The venue itself is about the same square footage as trees, but it was BUILT for this, so all spots are good veiws AND good acoustics. The smokers patio also isnt the pathetic tiny corner it usually is. Open enough for it not to smell like it allows smoking.I look forward to seeing more shows here!

Venue was probably the best Ive been to in a while. Parking was close and easily accessible from the venue. Balcony was nice, I only small complaint was the rows were a little too narrow. But otherwise fantastic the upstairs bar was well lit and clean, and the server bringing drinks to people through the show and between sets was also fantastic.

First time at this venue. We attended The Movement last night. Parking is plentiful however, they only accept cards to pay and be prepared to be approached by what looks like a homeless person but is really a parking attendant. We almost didnt stop and did ask for credentials because it was sort of sketchy. Be prepared for ID checks, bag checks and metal detectors. It was a very quick, seamless process moving people in. Liq drinks were about $18/each and beers were around $8. The bathrooms were clean and there was an attendant at the womens restroom constantly replenishing. Theres only 4 stalls, so, there can be a bit of a wait. There are plenty of bars to get drinks at and outside area for smokers. The venue is supposed to be vape/smoke free however, people still vape everywhere. I did see someone in a security shirt address someone in the crowd once about vaping. The sound and lights were amazing for the Concert. This was our first time here and Id def go back. You may want to pregame prior or youll have a $200+ bar tab for about 8 drinks 😬

Hands down one of the best venues in the DFW area. It’s small but not cramped, very intimate but you also have multiple areas to choose from if you’re looking for more of a spot to hang out rather than being in the crowd. Speakers all around the venue including outside and in the bathrooms so even if you have to step away from the stage you still feel fully immersed in the experience. There is ample parking in the Mavericks lot next door and it’s more affordable than most venues. I’ve been here on multiple occasions and am always excited to see one of my favorite musicians perform here. This venue also has free water, which we all know most venues want to sell you a bottle for more than it’s worth!

I absolutely loved my experience here. Attended the Elderbrook concert. I was super confused initially about the set up. In case you didn’t know THE LOUNGE is a bar! It’s upstairs super cute and a whole vibe. Like a whole bar! Once the doors opened then you go down to the actual venue. AMAZING set up for the front row people! That’s where you found me!I can honestly appreciate the temperature and the A/C I was definitely expecting to sweat so that was really refreshing for a venue. Great find!

I went here for the first time to see Mother Mother and was so incredibly stoked at the entire atmosphere. The general admission floor seating/standing was small enough that nobody was further than 40 ft from the stage. For such a massively popular band (in Canada), this was the ultimate way to experience them. The balcony around the edges of the GA floor added to the intamcy of the entire set-up. I really am probably biased because I was able to see one of my favorite bands nice and close up but thinking openly, I cant find anything negative to say about this venue. Its close to downtown but not downtown. Its easily accessible off of I35. They have booze and an outdoor smoking section. Nice job, designers. You hit the mark, for sure.Edit: This is by FAR the place I would prefer over any other venue Ive been, to be able to see my favourite bands in such an intimate setting. Perfect.

Been going to concerts for years now in the Dallas area, and this was our first time at the Echo Lounge & Music Hall. Solely writing this review to shoutout to Frank! Probably the best staff worker at any venue in the Dallas area, that truly cares about his job and all the people that attend the venue. He consistently checked on us, gave us water, let us in to use the bathroom while we waited all day since 6am for a concert in almost 100 degree weather. Truly, the best experience. You never see a staff member at a concert venue that cares as much as Frank does! He deserves a promotion! Went above and beyond!!! Can’t wait to come back!

Had a great time there. They have a very nice patio if you need to take some fresh air and chat with your friends. The only thing I didn’t like is that they don’t let you take your water with you after the show is over citing their open container policy. I do understand this when it comes to alcohol, but water, really? I had just paid $5 for a can of water inside, it’s unfair that you made me throw it away.

Love the fact it’s small and intimate #1, if one of your fav artists is here, you’re gonna be so lucky to see them so close cause no matter where you stand you will have a view. Sound was great. Lights great (though I’m sure each production is different). The COOLEST thing was a $6 LOCAL craft beer (12oz can) they had an Amber, Blonde and IPA. Getting a craft beer at a concert that cheap is pretty unheard of with price gouging so that was dope! Also another plus is complimentary water from a sport jug and cups on the side. Always a plus not having to ask bartenders and wait. Not a ton of room on balcony but enough for everyone to have a spot. The seats up there are super comfortable too. The railing is a little high to see over but it’s for drunk idiots im assuming. 4 stars because #1 the security didn’t let me in with a empty water bottle to refill and they don’t sell plastic. They only sell that weird demon water. Such an outdated rule. Let ppl bring in a empty water bottle to fill up. What’s the worst you can allow in?? #2 it was $12 to park and the lot was about jammed full with no clue where else to park nearby for free. So on top of the $40 ticket with fees you have to pay to park. But hey overall, staff was super chill, great layout, beautiful venue. If I could make suggestion you need more signage directing ppl to doors. The building is on a weird angle to parking lot and the windows are all tinted out black. It would be helpful to have signage directing to front doors. Thx for the good times!! Would love to come back.

I went to see Lords of Acid on Friday and it was a disaster. They double booked the venue and the show wasnt supposed to start until 1130 but it didnt start until almost midnight. During their most popular song the venue cut the mics off and no one could even hear it. The guy working next to the stage was pissed off talking about how they were supposed to be done earlier and the band and their fans that they brought up needed to get off the stage. They turned the house lights on during the song and ended the show before the band finished their set. I paid for a ticket to see the full show and got to see a little over half of it. This is not a great venue so unless the band is someone you REALLY want to see dont even bother. I wont be.

So refreshing to have an easy drive into a parking lot with an affordable rate and a friendly attendant just a few steps away from the venue. It was easy to get in, easy to get a drink and easy to find a spot where the sights and sounds were great. I probably dont have to explain how different that is from most venues and how much of a difference it makes. Cant wait to see another show at Echo!

Great venue, food and drinks are solid (albeit expensive).Really modern sound system and good quality. Only complaint is that the past two shows I’ve seen have been run way too loud. I bring earplugs to every show but without earplugs you’re almost definitely causing permanent damage at the volumes I was measuring. Thankfully that’s an easy adjustment for the sound team.Concerts here are great because the venue is small enough you can be pretty close to the talent. At larger venues that may not be the case. The end result is a pretty intimate show, well produced.

Saw Lords of Acid on 5/3/24. What can i say other than this venue completely ruined the experience. First all, they double booked headlining shows, one at 7pm and one for 11pm. So my lords of acid VIP was cut short. Was told i had to go back outside and wait in line again. Finally got inside and got a $19 long island iced tea that was super weak and didn’t even buzz me. The mic on the singer kept cutting out. Then they cut Lords set by 30 minutes. Cut the mics and put up the house lights at 130 am when Lords were contracted to play until 2am. My friend in the band couldn’t escort anyone around. Super rude staff. I wont be coming back. Lords of Acid was awesome though.

This has become my least favorite venue in Dallas. On this particular occasion they double booked acts on the same night leaving one not coming on until 11:30 pm which resulted in the set being cut in half and they even cut the bands mics on the last song!! I was very disappointed in this since I have waited years to see this group all the way from Belgium not to mention a waste of money! Beautiful venue, I love how intimate it is. They sold out the show and it felt full but we weren’t packed in there, so many venues shove as many people as possible in so I really appreciated that! We got valet parking and the staff was super nice, the parking lot was quite large and easy to get in/out of. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the drinks are obnoxiously expensive, my friend got a (single) vodka Red Bull (made with Tito’s) and it was $17??? It was unreasonably overpriced for absolutely no reason, the venue is upscale, clean, and in a nice spot, but that doesn’t justify their drink prices!

There was really no point in purchasing the Pre-show.Sri is in the lounge were overpriced and options for those not drinking d driving were water and sparkle wasted with was in a can and $6.50.The food is low end bar food at best. You get better food from a food truck at the fair.So the Pre-Show: There is no real benefit. The venue. Within the first five minutes the pot smell was overwhelming. If I could’ve gotten a refund at the door I would’ve. Last I check weed was still illegal in Texas. But because of a cowardly manager and owner, there was no enforcing the law. There were also kids at the concert I attended.Y’all want our country to change and be better but you cowards can’t even ensure the law is followed in your establishment and protect kids from being surrounded by illegal drugs.I hope the venue is looked into by the authorities and shut down. The performers were amazing. She came back, I ordered a plain drink, and when she gave me the receipt she said “you better fill it out all the way because I’ll will write in my own tip”. No joke, no smiling, none of that.Thought it was real trashy, bartender or not. Terrible venue! The sound was too quiet, and usually poorly mixed. The lead singer couldnt move more than an inch away from the mic before the sound completely cut off. Intimate venue with good acoustics. Amazing sound response can rumble the floor. Sound and light booth is centrally located and standing in front is the best seat in the house. There is a balcony with TV screens and a live feed from above the booth for better viewing. The patio is spacious, with good lighting, tables, and seating. The bar staff were responsive and hustled. Food was delicious. The bathroom attendant was infinitely patient and kind. Parking is available on site.My only gripe is the bathrooms are not designed for the size of the venue. Four womens toilets for a full house is maddening, and the walkway is too narrow for a line to form without ins and outs tripping over each other. Expand the bathroom and its access, and its 5 stars, easy.

Maybe my expectations were too hight but this place was underwhelming. Cute patio so Ill give them that. Unless youre tall, the balcony or GA front row are the only spots with a good view of the stage. I couldnt see a thing and the sound honestly wasnt the best for metal music.Youll need to pay for parking which is a bit of a turn off for such a small venue. Awesome venue for music! Went last weekend with friends to see Rumors. We love the venue for many reasons. Easy access, location, perfect size to see a band intimately, great, clean, nice staff, good bar stations and drinks. It’s a really great set up. The acoustics are spot on as well. My friends and I only complaint was that the lights were WAY too bright for the main floor. Everybody felt lit up like a Christmas tree. We (and others) were trying to get them to turn them down as they were so distracting but no go. People want to get lost in the music and crowd. Having a bright set of lights flashing around you full blast doesn’t help create that atmosphere. It was very annoying. It’s an easy fix.I’d still go back but stay on the sides or get upper balcony access.

Its a fun music venue. Not the biggest fan of the parking but it is what it is. The venue is fairly clean for the types of shows it has, servers food but Ive never gotten any, it smells good at least. The drinks are a little high priced and unfortunately like many places theyre going to liquid death for water. Not the biggest fan of canned water especially since I cant reseal it. This seems to be a multiple venue thing. The no name water became the contract to over charge for. The drinks are a little pricey for the type of drink, but theyre on par with concert venues. Definitely better than Dos XX or gexa or star plex or whatever theyre called when you read this. The only over all critique Id give is turn down the volume just a little depending on the sound tech. Its cool to be loud but remember the acoustics of the establishment. Sometimes too loud can distort the sound in an unpleasant way. Past that definite thumbs up for this place

Tips and tricks for seeing a show at the venue. The Echo is a fairly small, relatively nice place to see a show. It it primarily standing room only and when I was there was very crowded. Lines are long to get a drink so order a double. TIPS- do not buy a valet pass. Self parking is cheaper and easier. Most people buy the Valet pass and there are only two valets working at the venue at any time. It takes forever. Don’t waste your money. Self parking is nearby and easy. Don’t purchase the patio pass. There’s no attendant ant the door and anyone can easily access the patio with or without a pass. There is no advantage to spending the extra money on the pass. Hope this helps others. Enjoy.

If it’s a seated show be warned you will be crammed in like sardines on tiny cheap plastic chairs where you end up pretty much in your neighbors lap. If you’re sitting on the left or the right of the stage your view could also be obstructed. Every staff member we interacted with was way less than friendly. We went to see Damien Escobar. The show was wonderful. At first we had horrible seats up against the wall where we could only see the side of the stage. Then we were able to change seats which was great. Upon arrival we had issues pulling up out tickets online. Which we were directed to the ticket booth. The young lady at the ticket booth was swamped helping other people who had the same issue as us. We ended up figuring out how to download our tickets on our own. Once inside we waited in the hot lobby area to be seated I know for over an hour. The concert was set to start at 7 and ended up starting at 9. Once inside the seats werent labeled and no one was there to help us find our seats. On top of that for the price of the tickets the seats they had were metal picnic table seats which were setup in a way to were you are literally breathing down the persons neck in front of you. It was complete madness. The kitchen didnt have any power so they only sold pizza and popcorn. The ONLY thing good about that night was the show which was GREAT. Hopefully they get things in order in the future and MAYBE I will return.

This review is specific to The HiFi, within the music lounge and this is where we were sent to remedy the original issue. Husband bought Daughtry tix for our 10 year anniversary. The ticket showed section row and seat numbers . So we were under the impression that we had already purchased seats prior to arrival.for the extremely pricy ticket cost. Well, we go upstairs to where the seats are and and the employee tries to help us. Looks at the ticket and said thats so the site can keep count of how many they sell, but its the standing room general admission down below. He suggested going down to the VIP section to buy two seats. When in line , employees were marketing buying seats as an upgrade for 30 each. We didnt go originally because thought we already had them. So we get to the VIP desk back downstairs and ask for two of the seats . She said she just sold out . (Of course ). She tried to sell us a standing balcony ticket for the same price , when Another employee said she just had a table open up . I asked how much it was and the first woman said $30, bucks each . I was like we will take it . She took phone number and email (twice the first time for the balcony location then for the table) and texted the table number after she told us to go upstairs . So we went back upstairs and that first employee that helped us at the seats asked if we got it all figured out . I showed him where she texted me table 103. He said he was going to go figure it out.Meanwhile we are checking out our view and thinking If we needed to sit, we would just sit on the floor under rail. Later he came back and said we were downstairs and that it is a great view still and those tables had chairs . So we went down and continued the night . The food took a little longer but had good flavor . My tacos were cold. Today I am paying bills and there is a charge from HIFI Dallas for $150. I didnt know what that was so I googled the number and connected it to the fiasco last night . How is $60 bucks being charged as $150!!!!!! If I call them, they will probably argue about what actually happened and we do not have a receipt because what they emailed was only a confirmation .I would stand until my feet fell off to avoid paying $150!!!

Recently went to this venue for a concert and as it is a ga/standing room venue people had been lined up to be in the front. as we were in line an employee comes up to the line and let’s us know that they’re now doing “vip lounge access and early entry” which would essentially get people into the venue and by the stage before doors open. this sounds great upon first hearing about it, and almost the entirety of everyone in line chose to pay the extra $30 (which was the original price of tickets) to gain early access, but we were told that they’d sell 20-30 “vip passes” they ended up selling 80-100 and then proceeded to have us all cram into a small upstairs lounge and offshoot into the lobby. at this point other employees as well as security were telling people that this was the largest amount of “vip holders” they had ever seen. flash forward to in the lounge, because everyone was worried about respecting people’s time who had been there all day we tried to make sure that everyone stayed in line order. as we (people in line) were trying to keep everyone calm as people from further back in the line were pushing us closer to the door to try to get in front of everyone the bartender in the lounge proceeded to laugh at us and yell at us that what we were trying to do wasn’t worth it when all we were trying to do was stay safe in a dangerously over crowded lounge with no security whatsoever. it should also be noted that at this point an employee who was with a private party informed everyone that there were 6-7 people that would be going down before us simply because they paid more money, which is fine and dandy but not when we were all sold the “vip lounge access” with the claim that we would be first on the floor before everyone else. the employee working with the private party was standing near the door that led to the ga area and when they noticed people starting to push forward from the back they removed themself from what seems to have been deemed an unsafe area. i would also like to point out that around 10-20 of us let multiple employees know what was happening and how unsafe we felt with zero security whatsoever and were told nothing besides “what you’re doing isn’t worth it”. i found that this entire situation seemed like an easy cash grab for the venue as the show was sold out and they knew there was a demand, but to not even follow through with what we were told we were buying seems extremely unethical and overall extremely disappointing as most of the fans were minors and don’t have the experience to see through this behavior. not to mention when they did let us in it was a COMPLETE free for all with little to no security around. thankfully everyone at the front of the line was respectful of each other and tried to prevent anyone from falling or getting trampled, but this venue seems one wrong crowd away from a major accident happening as their employees know little to nothing in deescalation and crowd control and not to mention the obvious efficacy issues. long story short most who attended the concert said they wouldn’t be attending another concert at this venue simply because of how everyone’s safety was blatantly disregarded and ignored

We really appreciate your staff Ms. Jenn Bernard from Brent who checked us in, to the Bartender Ashley who gave us water once the concert was over. We really enjoyed you all Echo Live Nation staff at self parking for 10 dollars an event Dallas Mavericks Center at 1333. The Self Parking was so affordable it being 10 dollars. While they had Valet sparking for 20 bucks. Everyone and everything was so great in how they created a great atmosphere to enjoy Hitaus Kaiyote! #ForwardFridaySept9thof2022

The different bars flow really well with the layout. The staff is professional and helpful. The stage is set low which provides more of an intimate connection with the performer(s). The location is easy to get in and out of. 👍🏻

Great venue. GA us standing roo. Only. The VIP passes were worth the money. Reserved seating that was elevated for perfect view and our server was awesome!

Enjoyed the venue the first time I visited, but did not enjoy the second visit. Multiple people were visibly vaping inside the venue, and security did nothing about it.

I purchased a balcony seat as the chart showed floor was standing only for same price. Arrived at the event just to be smushed up under people on both sides of me! I went alone but had to sit up under the arms of strangers. They crammed those of us from the balcony downstairs onto floor seats. The lade next to me asked did you purchase a balcony seat? I said I knew that I wasnt mistaking! I SURE DID, SO THAT I COULD OVERLOOK THE PERFORMANCE & NOT BE IN CLOSE PROXIMITY TO OTHERS! I might go back to this venue again depends on who will be performing but it dang sure better be on point next time! I could not believe how they had us up in there. #covidisstillreal

Wolf Alice Concert 4.15.22. Excellent Venue. This was my first visit. Acoustically Awesome. We had general admission tickets. Great Vibe. WOLF ALICE IS AMAZING. Everything is carded. No cash transactions - including $10 parking - reasonable price. This is a Mark Cuban project. Training the masses for a cashless society?? Crypto Currency, Baby.

This another venue with cashless features. The cards had no chips and could not be used by all vendors. This place is too small. The acoustics are horrible. I would wait to see someone at a different venue.

Really cool new spot. Came for a podcast show. Sound was great. We were in the last row downstairs but could still see everything. Really liked that they have an outdoor space for breaks. Would come here for another show happily.

Horrible place, very uncomfortable seats (foldable chairs) rude personnel and long waiting lines to access, due to one single person reviewing bags (30 mins outside awaiting). Columns in the middle obstructing the scenario view, I won go back
