Came here for the first time this weekend. Friday night. It was me and my sisters. We got a bottle service and everything was great! Adam was lovely and very attentive.to us. They open at 10pm and by 11. That place is packed. The music was good imo. The DJ was diverse and I enjoyed every minute of it. Good spot to have fun , get some drinks and just enjoy yourself. I’ll be back soon!

They forcefully kicked me out without saying nothing. At that time we just paid for our last round and did not even take a simple sip of our drink. The security suddenly blocked me, pulled me down to the ground from 2nd floor and threw me out. After arguing with the doorman the management team slowly came out and told us I slept at the bar so we should not stay there anymore. But I adjusted my Apple Watch at that time and no one could prove that I closed my eyes for a while. We wanna argue again and they said okay we all got emotional and drunk so please leave here.A moment earlier there were two clusters fought with each other and sprinkled the drinks. But the security just separated, calmed them down and let it be.At the end, one security noted the name of my friend who paid it and promised will refund. Let’s see if they will really do that cause so many people shared about their bad experiences with these stingy racists in the newest Google reviews.

The staff make for an unpleasant experience always--they all look and act money hungry, just like at all the other bars in Hoboken. A lot of them are former and current staff at Djais, and you can tell they try to bring that same shore club energy with a sophisticated spin, but they fail every time. There are good reasons why they call Djais The Mecca, and it has been in business for over 60 years; Birch will never reach that level of quality.The music the DJs play is all repetitive hits that you only hear the first verse of before the song gets cut off by poor mixing.They push alcohol and exorbitant spending on young people under 25 and charge ridiculous prices, so you either have to have a good job or rich parents to enjoy your time there on top of the fact that they encourage alcoholism early in life.The only regulars they have are friends and family of the staff, and even that crowd is starting to move on and avoid the Hoboken area.This bar is also part of the reason that Northern NJ doesnt possess what one could consider a dance club. Club attendees in the 2000s going to Bliss Lounge and Club Liquid used to grind on each other on the dance floor and shake every part of their bodies, but now all these young people want to do is just stand there and talk, even though they cant see or hear each other very well inside the bar.A lot of the patrons are dorky losers who are just looking to get laid, and they have the audacity to ask women who are out of their league if they can buy them drinks and to go out some time. These desperates are welcomed with open arms at Birch, making for a more unpleasant stay, especially for the women.Save your money and dont entertain these clowns with your participation.

Bottomless mimosas are the saving grace of Birch brunch. The $20 bloody Mary was delicious and over the top but a bit expensive. The brunch buffet was all breakfast food with limited options over all. For $40/person for bottomless food and booze, I left wanting more than what I got. The Instagram posts dont match the experience overall I.e no sprinkles on the mimosas unless you ask.

Celebrated my 23 birthday at Birch with bottle service and it was amazing! Staff was super helpful, friendly and fun! The music was great and the themes make it so much more fun! Definitely recommend to anyone who wants to get down and celebrate!

DJ Cream was not good at all. No sleep, nah, it was time to sleep after hearing the same mixed result over and over. He cant even let a song play for a bit. Terrible. Only came because it was my best friends birthday. Terrible really.

Came here for boozy brunch, first time ever.This is a Techno Club ‼️‼️All they played was techno musicSo I guess it’s best when you’re on ACID ‼️‼️I wasn’t on ACID though so I can’t tellDuring the buffet, I loved the shrimps. Menu looked nice and drinks are soooo reasonably priced! just make sure not to get ripped off if paying with credit card seems to be an issue here but I was okayEverything else in buffet reminds me of my MIDDLE SCHOOL BREAKFAST AND LUNCH though‼️‼️but once you’re drunk it’s aiiii, I reminded myself price is okay and not expensivein NYC all these things would’ve been like 90 at leastanywaysstaff was quick and attentiveI’ll make sure to bring ACID next time

Compare to other bars the entry was the highest, also at the start the music was great but later on played songs that nobody knew everyone was just standing. I don’t think ill come back :/

If you’re black or at least want to dance/sing then this is not the place for you. I’ve been a few times and at first it was alright music wise but eventually all the DJs they hired played was EDM and you could barely do a 2 step. They could not read the crowd and see that no one was dancing or having fun

From Day 1 to today it has been 52 weeks in row without losing every weekend living every Friday and Saturday the best experience that Birch has with its theme parties every Friday a different and exciting proposal loaded with lots of fun and excellent music hosted by different djs each weekend. Being the only night club in the area, either hanging out with your friends or being at a ViP table, which has amplified my experience in the venue due to the excellent service from the staff behind it, definitely a place where I feel safe and with the expectation that it will always be the best party night

Not impressed by this place at all. Went here for a friend’s birthday brunch on a Sunday and it was mostly empty and the service was a nightmare. We were a group of about 10 girls and waited over an hour for our food (burgers and grilled cheeses) after ordering despite us being some of the only people there. They then brought out half the order and left everyone else waiting at least another 20 minutes. The food wasn’t even very good so I can’t say it was worth the wait. The waitress was often spotted sitting down too which we didn’t understand. Overall would not recommend this place for brunch and I have no plans of returning.

The music is okay but the place is very small and line takes forever. Then once you get inside, if you want to get drinks at the bar.. don’t expect to receive the deals promoted. Every time i’ve come to this place there has been a “special” for drinks and the bartenders do not acknowledge the deals even when you specifically ask about them. It seems like they want to rip you off which sucks because I would much rather get a deal and give a good tip than feel like the bartender is being sketchy. Especially when the DJ mentions the deal on the mic and the bartenders still don’t give the same price… after that I don’t want to give them a tip at all honestly. For a bar that gets most of their customers by promoting deals and sending out promotional texts messages almost every day, this is very unprofessional and sketchy. After a couple times of this happening I will not be coming back and will not recommend this place to anyone.

We took our daughters and some friends to Birch for a birthday dinner and they were wonderful! We had one kid with significant allergies with us, and the Birch management and staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. Burgers and shakes were AMAZING! And the balloons, sash, and sparklers for the birthday girl made the whole thing super special. What a treat! Thank you Birch!!!

This establishment booked an event to feed 300 girl scouts/parents dinner on 6/17/17. We arrived at 4 pm. There was no seating and no food ready. Many parents and scouts left because of this to go purchase food elsewhere after having already paying in advance for dinner. When the food was served the buffet was salad, pizza bagel bites, chicken tenders and meatballs. The food was terrible. The mac n cheese had no flavor and the meatballs were cold. We were given small appetizer plates for the dinner. Of the scouts and parents that did not leave, the buffet fed approximately 1/4 of the people. The rest of us waited in line for over 1/2 hour. Finally they came out with a tray of Tator Tots and mini egg rolls with no sauce! Unbelievable! It was as if they ran to the nearest store and bought whatever they could find to feed us. My dinner was an appetizer plate of tator tots and mini egg rolls. I asked a lady who seemed to be in charge why they would even have considered booking this event knowing they could not seat us and could not feed us? Her only response was that they ran out of food. For dessert, they brought out mini cupcakes and cookies which looked as if they were bought from Walmart. For drinks they had two bar tenders upstairs to serve everyone drinks one at time. This place was absolutely horrible and they should refund the Chesapeake Bay Council the money they paid in advance. I would never recommend this establishment.

I went here for my 23rd birthday and wow. It was truly an unforgettable night. From the service to the atmosphere it was all hands down amazing from the moment my group and I arrived. Upon arrival we were escorted to our section by door staff and greeted at our section by our bottle waitress. Throughout the night my group was checked up on by multiple staff members ensuring we were having a good time and had all we needed. Security was also very attentive making my group feel safe the whole night. It was a lot of my friends first times at Birch and we already have plans of coming back very soon. The whole experience is well worth the price you are paying!

Ive actually been here on two separate occasions. For the night club and for brunch. Below i will list my experience with each of them.NIGHTCLUB: as far as the night club goes it was overall a pretty average night club experience in hoboken. They played good music, music you would find on the radio the dj was pretty good and they had props which was a plus. Its also best to put your name on the vip list online to avoid paying the cover. The place is nicely decorated. Will i return for the night club? Maybe but would not be my first choice.BRUNCH: so my friends and i follow them on instagram and saw all of the great pictures and brunch that was advertised so we decided to go. The service was not good, very very slow. It took about 15 minuets for them to bring our mimosas. They had about one server working for the brunch they advertised so well. Which i didn’t understand. The menu as far as food went was very disappointing. There is no brunch menu per say just the little appetizers that stick on top of the bloody mary and thats pretty much it. No brunch food at all. Highly disappointed because we had came with an appetite for brunch food. So that led us to have to order burgers off of there regular menu. The burger was good, good quality meat. Would i go back for brunch? Absolutely not. If your looking for a place to have bottomless mimosas and drinks with your friends and just have drinks. This place is a good fit. However, if you are looking for an actual brunch to accompany your mimosas this is not the place. There are plenty of other places in hoboken that serve a good meal and even have bottomless drinks on sundays. Wish my experience was different because i had high hopes according to how there instagram looked.

What a great weekend at Birch Hoboken. Me and my friends came for a 23rd Birthday. The staff from top to bottom was exquisite. The door staff made sure my entire party was checked in, in a timely manner, and then they walked us right to our section. Throughout the night, both the bottle waitresses and management checked with us, to make sure we were having a great time. The music, the VIP presentation, the staff and the crowd made this a night to remember. We will definitely be booking again in the near future.

I celebrated my birthday this weekend at Birch and had an exceptional experience with everyone. Maura helped me with making the reservation and communicated very well to ensure I got everything I wanted, and the manager Paul was great and helpful as well! I highly recommend this place, such a fun time and great customer service!

From start to the end, the customer service was absolutely amazing and everyone went over the top to make sure I enjoyed my birthday party! Their VIP manager did an excellent job communicating with me diligently about pricing and giving me the best possible accommodations. Truly the best place in NJ to celebrate any occasion and I will absolutely be returning in the future for more!

First and last time I ever come here. I’m still trying to figure out why they have to open all bottles and take the caps like what make it make sense then they bring out bottle tables are still a mess no bucket of ice no real cups for champagne and the bottle girls are either slow or I don’t know but they need to get it together. I go out and spend and over tip shorty got her automatic gratuity cause it was not it. Like how do my bottles come out and you’re still looking for my bucket if ice sis get it together that’s the first thing that shouldOf landed on the table and it’s not even busy I work at venues that hold up to 2000 ppl. Don’t recommend save your money go somewhere else this place is TRASH

What an amazing 🤩 night!! It was my first time in the place to celebrate my best friends bachelorette party and I have to say that the reception of the host staff at the entrance until they took us to our reserved VIP table was invaluable the bottle services and the attention from the staff flawless, the promoters team was very nice and attentive to make sure that we don’t missing anything to had the best night bachelorette party and the music experience along with the led lights effects was exquisite it’s def Birch Hoboken Night Club the vibe to follow. I will planning to be back and especially for my birthday 🥳 🎉🍾

Don’t recommend bottle service here its horrible stick to the bar. If you can avoid this place try to but if you have to just bar service. They make you open all you bottles and keep the caps so you can run through your bottles. Bottle girls are ugly have no type of customer service at least be ugly and treat me right. If I could give this place 0 stars i would. Nothing but young college kids.

I went to the front door, and as soon as the bouncer saw that my friends and I were black, they claimed we were too drunk and denied us entry. Experiencing such racial bias is deeply disappointing and reflects the unfortunate reality of dealing with such situations even today. Its disheartening to encounter such incidents in our times.

Overall great bar and club. Definitely recommend the milkshake here. Very friendly staff and pleasing aesthetics on the different levels they have.Was here for a friends birthday and they went the extra mile to serve us. Overall very satisfied

Absolutely horrible, racist staff. My friend was not allowed back inside, despite several intoxicated white men stumbling inside. My friend? He only had two beers, purchased from Birch. Every single bouncer here and at the connected bar next door, told me to talk to management, however there was never a manager available to talk to. They had nothing to say to my friend, but my white boyfriend? They were happy to talk to him, with more elaborate excuses. Do not spend your money here. Do not support this business. If you’re not white, you are NOT welcome here. Do not be fooled by the Latin music. This is not an establishment that respects anyone other than an entitled frat boy.

I wish I could give this place a negative star review. The bartenders basically rob you. I went out for a fun night for a friends 21st birthday and they tried to charge me 65$ for two drinks and a shot. Will absolutely never be attending this establishment ever again and I hope to get my money back.

Wish I read the reviews before I came with my friends. Usually you think of Hoboken and associate it with a good time and well run clubs, so the thought had not even crossed my mind. First you walk up the door and it’s a $20 cover. Fine, we paid. Our main issue of the night was the bar service. First, crazy wait time to get a drink. All 5 of of us were drinking either vodka red bull’s or vodka lemonade, yet somehow every round of drinks was a different price. Literally every tab brought to us ranged between $26-$33 for 2 of the same drink. Still, we didn’t think to ask questions and just figured outrageous Hoboken prices. Bartender also refused to close out a tab below $20, so you were forced to buy at least 2 drinks at once. At one point the bartender closed out a tab for strangers with my friends card (on accident,but still). She was told she would get a refund, the mistake was caught right away, and instead it is now 4 days later and the charge went up $10 because the bartender tipped herself! DO NOT GO HERE unless you want to be scammed out of your money.

Came here last night for the first time with a friend. We thought the music was a pretty good variety! There was a carnival theme going on so that was cute. Very clean space and bathrooms. Unfortunately, we did not stay for more than an hour because our feet were killing us (again we are not familiar with the scene and wore heels.. should’ve gone for sneakers) and since there was no where to sit we left and went elsewhere. I understand the tables are VIP only… on the floor there was not one table being used, so I think it would be great to just charge a fee (I would’ve paid at least $20) to sit down but not get VIP service, just to take a break. I will definetly return 😊 (with sneakers!!!)

The only actual nightclub in Hoboken, it’s great! Always diff Dj’s, the vibe is always great. Ive booked a table here for multiple occasions and the vip experience was awesome! The staff is always super friendly and helpful. Cant wait to go back!

Went for cinco de Mayo with my friends and had the best night ever music was good vibes were good drinks were Frank’s and shots were shot. The dj played bad bunny and with the tequila flowing through me I was having the time of my life. Bad bunny + tequila = pure bliss. After last night Birch will forever be the last bar I hit before strolling down to Basiles pizza to end the night. The long line was 100% worth 10/10 would recommend. Live love !Birch

Came here for a friends birthday, it was fun until the bartenders were so freaking rude for no reason. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CARD ON TAB!My friend bought two shots & was charged $80! The bartender had “mistaken” him for someone else’s drinks, so then proceeds to bring the manager and says money will be refunded. Next few days, they charged the card for $100!!!!!!!

Paid for a table and then was promptly kicked out for no reason. Will never return to this over priced bar. This bar is ridiculous expensive and definitely not worth It. They decide we got to drunk the moment we stepped outside and did not let us in. Be aware of the old self entitled security guard named MARIO who’s seems to be above it all for no reason other than self enjoyment. Came to birch to talk to a management about an ID misunderstanding after getting turned away with valid IDs at their establishment around the corner, and instead got yelled at by grown men bouncers. Grown men bouncers yelling at women what a disgrace. No customer service and very rude bouncers. Bouncers whose main job is to keep people safe and be knowledgeable about IDs as they are the ones who check. And instead of being helpful and making people safe, they yell at women. Stay far away. Would give them 0 stars if that were possible.

The only great thing about this place is gorgeous women and just a chill place to relax after a long week to relieve yourself to enjoy a great weekend.

The Bar was very good and we experienced pleasant moments in it and everything was great, the DJ was also great, the only problem was that I was taking pictures and videos of myself on the stairs upstairs to record the good moments. But one of the security guards, who was short, looked next to me and looked at my mobile screen, as if he doubted that I was doing something immoral!!! I dont know why he did this and I didnt feel good at all because I was texting my mother!! There was no reason for him to come and look at my mobile screen!!! I leave this comment on December 30, 2022 and I was there for the Hang Over Party

First of all the bartender charged my card for the wrong person all night. I was charged originally $37 that she told me she refunded because she used the wrong card. I never got refunded but she apparently gave herself a tip because the charge went up to $46. On the drinks I actually purchased she again added a nice $10 tip for herself that I know I didn’t leave. When I tried calling about this they told me to contact my bank. I would just like my money back and to never return to this place again. I bought two drinks all night and my total charge was $83. Please make it make sense. Anyway, I recommend going literally anywhere else but this place.

Security was not niceClaimed my friend was drunk but wasnt, let someone falling over in the establishment the security guard was letting girls in without checking id. (Even if theyre known, he said there are swarmers that look for them to do mistakes) ofc he would, which made no sense.Place has no dress code on the site. VIP Host Gary always getting the job done when the guys and I show up to have a good time. I recommend anyone that wants great vibes throughout the night to check out BIRCH. Coming here on Friday nights is a great way to kick off your weekend. The nightlife experience here is A1.

The best and only nightclub in Hoboken. The only place I recommend to my friends to go to on fridays and saturdays when theyre looking for somewhere to go out and drink. All of the management and staff are very friendly people and very welcoming. 10/10 definitely recommended if youve never been here.

Always a great time at Birch . They usually have a good DJ and the best time to go is on Fridays for power hour. Also Alessandra is the best bartender there!!

I went to birch with my girl and her friends for a birthday and right as I’m getting in the head of Security said I was too drunk and I was honestly perfectly fine. I was embarrassed in front of everyone and stayed outside thank god mad hatters was very welcoming and fun the security was amazing if you have a fought time just head there !

Place was an absolute mess, me and my 2 friends paid 40$to enter and the place was an absolute **** hole , one of the bar girls got mad that I only gave her 2$ on top of a 5$ shot and gave me a disgusted look and cursed under her breath, you know you guys pride yourself on being professional but don’t show it come night of. sad sad place and they don’t care about your bad experience because they get so much traffic and people every night so what’s 1 bad review gonna do to them😂 screw this place don’t even waste your time drinks are extremely over priced my friend paid 10$ for a water !?!? what’s wrong with you people. highway robbery. go to morris town if you wanna club not hoboken .

Wish they had the option to give ZERO STARS!, season fries were horrible and let’s not even getting talking with the burgers! Uncooked bacon! How hard can it be to COOK bacon! Turn around if your thinking about coming here!!!

Came here for the Halloween Hoboken Bar Crawl (a total scam btw) and my experience was horrible. Lines were crazy long, we were told wristbands only worked till 8pm when there was nothing on the site that said that, only that you need to get it before 8pm. When we finally got in, we had a good time… for about 30 mins. Staff suddenly made an announcement that they needed to “clean” and will open back up in an hour. We were given 10 mins before being rushed out. Couldn’t finish our drinks that we just bought.. when confronting the manager/boss, he had an attitude, shrugged and looked like he didn’t want to deal with us.The floors were gross and the bathrooms were even worse- I could understand shutting down the bathrooms for 20 mins. But what’s the point in closing the whole bar down if the floor’s gonna get dirty right after? Even if you were gonna shut the bar down you have to give a longer notice than that. 10 mins is not enough. Really unprofessional and ruined our night kicking us out to wait in the rain. Isn’t fair to the people that waited in line and have to wait, again. I never leave such bad reviews but this experience sucked. I wouldn’t come back and I don’t understand the hype.

Do not waste your time going here, especially on Halloween night. They’re advisement was a lie. States there were going to have a Halloween party starting at 10:00pm. We went over there around that time we were told the place was closed. Why would you advertise that you are going to have a Halloween party and it is going to be open all day just for the place to be closed when people arrive? I brought tickets too and didn’t even use them. I want a refund! I don’t recommend this to people who don’t want to waste their time!

Went here on a Friday night. Had a large party and promoter at the door told us she could get us all in with the purchase of 2 bottles. We agreed and once we got in and settled the manager told us we needed to buy another bottle to stay. When I asked him why his promoter gave us different info to get us in he accused me of yelling at him and there was no discussion. I felt like we were lied to so they could get us In the door and then they changed their story. Not the way to do good business.On a plus note, the music was great and was the only reason we stayed.

The bouncers here were absolute scum. I tried to find my friends and was lost outside. They attacked my friend and told me to go F my self. In3ill never go here again. I had three friends inside and went out to smoke. They wouldnt even help call my friends or grab them even though my phone was dead and I was trapped in the middle of the street alone. Worst service and worst bar Ive ever been to. Please, for your safety, stay away.

PROS: The nightclub was great! Music, the two bars, the lounge areas, and the atmosphere was all on point! Prices were decent with everything and staff was nice! If you eat their prior to the club opening you get in the club for free!CONS: In addition to having no parking lot it also has no cooks apparently... I went with others to their restaurant part and they took 20 minutes to ask us what we wanted off a menu from dying iPads. Than it took them 40 minutes to make it, and half that came out were wrong. Then they screwed up the bill by overcharging us which almost gave us heart attacks. They also had small bathrooms in the club areas so there were more people waiting in there then on the dance floorOVERALL: it was a great nightclub! I definitely suggest going there to dance, but do not go to the restaurant part

I visited this place for a friends bday some time last month and it was great. For thoughts who came early they were not allowed in until the bday girl arrived. I didn’t like that, they could have at least let them stay at the bar. Once in we were greeted and seating. The dj was awesome and the service was on point. Drinks were pricey but very well made. I found the place didn’t seem to have a big enough place for the package we purchased which was surprising. Bouncers were nice and easy to communicate with. I noticed a lot of fights braking out after closing and found that it happened pretty much every night . That was a bit alarming for the area we were in but over all I know I had a blast and would visit again this time going to the bar.

All the workers there were friendly & professional. Especially the Bartender Vanessa. She made my first experience here while brunching amazing. Even though the food had a bit of a delay she make sure that my friend & I was happy and took it upon herself to keep frequent communication with the kitchen to find out the status of our meals. Celebrated my birthday here. Overall, cool place, great music, fun atmosphere. But terrible customer service. Spent $700+ on a table, was promised a bunch of stuff that I never got(balloons, bday sash, bday shoutouts). Was asked 3 different times which bottles I wanted before getting them, don’t really know how you can forgot a small order of just 2 bottles. Was forced to pay/tip before getting the bottles, which I completely understand, but once I got the bottles and the waitress got her tip, I never saw her again. Also was told that they would let my 2 friends in that were running late.. when they showed up they told me they couldn’t come in because they reached capacity. I’m in the hospitality/event industry myself and this is not how you treat your customers that are paying top dollar.

The racist bartender charged me double for a drink my friend got which was exactly the same , I then asked her about it and she was very rude about it and I put a 0 on the tip and told her had she charged me right then maybe she would of got a tip and I kept my receipt. Two days later she added her own tip. Place is disgusting garbage all over the floor bartenders looks like trash , over priced for disgusting service.

Booked a table here multiple times. The staff is always nice and friendly. They always make me feel special when I’m there. If you haven’t booked a table yet, you are missing out on the experience. Can’t wait to go back!!

Worst experience last night. I went for my friend’s bday last night and a group of us went and on the flyer we had it said ladies free before 11pm. Well when we got there at 10:30pm they charged all the girls in the group $20. They had the nastiest security and person who was at the cashier was not any better. Very unprofessional, yelling at us like we were children. They did not honor that we showed them the flyer and then said “oh, we changed it last minute.” The manager offered us a drink instead but extremely unprofessional. Will NOT return.

I started celebrating my birthday when birch was reign but I have to say, my experiences at birch have been excellent. Tiffany, the VIP manager, has taken care of me and my parties the past 2 years and I could not be happier with her services. She makes sure everything is in order and that we have everything we need, and if there is an issue, she fixes it. I can always count on her to make my birthday something special and her work ethic needs to recognized even more than it may already be!

Boozy brunch is a great concept but really needs work. The buffet food is just ok and they put weird frosting thing over their mimosa glasses. The bloody Mary’s are not included with the special and there was no server to take our drink orders until I went downstairs to ask. It was cheap but I honestly would pay more money for a better experience.

Best spot in Hoboken!! I love coming here and look forward to seeing Shannon at the front door every time. She’s always so welcoming and kind!

This place prioritizes profit over customer satisfaction. There are definitely better places to go to in Hoboken especially if you’re not from the area don’t waste your time and money here.

EXTREMELY RUDE BARTENDER. She seemed racist and she just said she cannot serve us. Very unprofessional. We asked for water and she couldnt understand. We then typed it in mobile and showed. She said she will not serve and called the security to get us out. We didnt do anything. We were extremely shocked and never had this kind of experience anywhere before. The security was not even ready to talk and just escorted us outside. All we want is just water. NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE.

Horrible! The owner was a complete jerk to me while I quietly waited for the rest of my party to arrive at 8:30pm tonight. Their listing specifically says they are open from 12pm to 3am on Saturdays so I was very confused when the owner walked up to me at the bar and demanded to know who let me into his establishment. I asked why he would act so rude to a customer and he explained how would I feel if someone entered their home without asking!?! Very odd! I would never go back there even if it were for free!!

Went here for a Saturday Brunch with a few friends. DO NOT GO HERE FOR BRUNCH, OR FOOD, OR ANYTHING REALLY. We sit down at our table and there is club music playing. I enjoy club music, but it was so loud that we could not even talk to each other without screaming. For a brunch at 12PM on a Saturday that was completely unnecessary.Then we order the bottomless mimosas. These were probably the worse mimosas that I have ever had in my life. Pretty much watered down champagne with a splash of OJ. Honestly it could have bee club soda for all we knew. Im all for getting drunk but I would have enjoyed it to taste a little better. On top of that they serve the mimosas in a flute glass that is rimmed with icing and sprinkles. This was extremely odd and made it taste even worse. I will give props where props are due though. The man refilling the mimosas was on point. Although he should have been on point as it seemed like that was his only job and there were only 3 -4 tables of people in the room.We are all extremely hungry so the server tells us that we can either do the buffet or order from the menus. We look at the buffet and it is all microwaveable foods. Mini taquitos, empenadas, sausage patties, bacon, and powdered eggs. YEAH NO THANKS. If I wanted that I would have stayed home and made my Jimmy Dean Breakfast hash browns and my own mimosas. So we all decide to order off of the menu. Keep in mind that we have no place settings or napkins, our glasses are all plastic, and we are still screaming across the table to talk to each other. Now it took our server a solid 20 mins to give us the Ipads with the menus on it. We all decide what we want and we had to flag the guy down another 15 mins later to place our orders.Now we are all really hungry at this point, so 45 mins pass and we flag down the server again (still no place settings or napkins, and still screaming). He tells us that the food will be out in about 10-15 mins. They are backed up with all of the people. Okay, what people?? There are only another 3 tables of people in the place and all of them are eating the buffet. The waiter apologizes for the long wait and says that we go eat the buffet free of charge because of the wait. We say screw it, and all go to the buffet. We load up and begin eating, and it was exactly as you would have expected. TRASH. Another 15 mins pass and we flag down the waiter again (notice the common theme of us having to flag him down and him not checking in on us to see how we are doing?) to check on our food. He tells us that it will be another 10 mins. 15 mins later our food comes out. HOORAYYY!! I wouldnt cheer just yet. I ordered a Chipotle Burger and the meat was lukewarm at best. I also ordered loaded fries and those were soggy and cold as well. I was extremely disappointed.They also put blue cheese on one of our friends buffalo chicken sandwich when she had asked for ranch, and over cooked another burger to well done when it was asked to be medium rare. It tasted like they made the food an hour ago and let it sit out until all of the food was ready and then gave it to us. If you do all the math her you will see that from the time of ordering to the time we received the food it took 1 hour and 15 mins.Overall this is a garbage place to do a boozy brunch. There are so many other better places in better cities like Jersey City or NYC where we would have paid the same amount and had a wayyyyyyy beter experience. If you like extremely loud club music and eating microwaveable food for brunch then this is the place for you! I can honestly say that I had such a bad experience with the service, food, and drinks that I will never be attending Birch for anything ever again.

Went here pre-COVID19 for a friends birthday. The bartenders upstairs were charging us more $ than the bartenders downstairs! How does that make any sense? I was charged differently for vodka + club soda by 3 different bartenders! The music was trash. & A fight broke out cause some white guys were picking on a brown dude! Horrible experience

Went to this place with friends last night. I was charged $215.51 for a couple of drinks/shots of low end alcohol. After questioning the charge with the bartender, she refused to make it right and called over the bouncers so that we would get kicked out of the establishment. All my friends and I were shamefully and without reason kicked out of Birch so that we would not dispute the unapproved charge. Don’t believe it’s right that a bouncer can kick someone out without reason but at the ask of a bartender who was too busy to charge people correctly instead of just making the situation right. Scammers!EDIT: they even charged themselves a large unauthorized tip!!!!!! $20

Bouncers were very rude!!! I had a pass (which said Birch and other details on it to waive the fee) from a promoter to get into this bar and the bouncers mumbled something and said I couldnt use it to enter the bar and had to pay the $10 cover fee. I was so SHOCKED. The promoter that referred me (literally from 1 block away) was definitely associated with the bar so why did the bouncers act so confused?? Why promote a place you won’t even let people into? When we went in the summer, they literally had trash drinks and the place was filled with old creepy men. I would stay away from this place. If you guys are looking for a fun time to dance and get decent priced drinks, go to Mills, Tally Ho, Green Rock, literally ANYWHERE in Hoboken instead of this trashy place.If I can give this place 0 stars, I totally would!

I had my birthday brunch there this weekend and I can say I had the greatest time. Food was good and drinks were great! I’d read reviews about the food being cold and things like thar but my food was great. If you obviously seat by the windows since they’re open, your food can get cold quickly but that’d be it.All my friends loved this place!

Just had my birthday celebration on Saturday December 23rd in the VIP section and the service I got was incredible. Diane Olivia was my waitress and she did a phenomenal job as well as the rest of her team. Ive also experienced the non VIP areas of this place and it is a definite must visit in Hoboken.

This is just club reign which was a racist establishment in new decor. The club has changed names and is under new management which is the same management behind the scenes. nothing has changed the same-thing occurs here that use to occur at reign. The bartender charged me for two coronas when I asked for two. She wasnt very smart about it. If she was the bill would have been 16 bucks total. Somehow it was like twelve or 13. Basically this was her way of giving herself a tip. reign use to get complaints of taking money from customers all the time. I think this place will close down eventually too. Anyways after discovering she purposely charged me i was cool about it. I mean Im almost 30 I get it. Ive been to enough clubs to realize how establishments that are run like reign or birch operate. You try to dispute a charge and you will either get beat up or tossed out lol. I would avoid this place if I was looking to go out on a Saturday night.

This place was HORRIBLE! The brunch special was listed on their website as “Botomless Mimosas and Crazy Bloody Marys from 12-4pm”. When we got there they said it’s only mimosas and for 2 hours only. The manager was not accommodating at all even though the website is false advertising their brunch. I even tried explaining that we only came for the bloody Mary’s and he didn’t care. We left and will not be returning.

EEhhh... Came here for drinks and dancing ended up getting frys and an over the top milk shake....had a decent time hanging out downstairs, plenty of places to take pics and worth the visit. Bathrooms were accessible and easy to get to. The party area upstairs was cool and set up nicely with a few areas to sit even if you didnt get VIP. Will return if Im in the area as a stop

Jared elevated the experience to the next level. I have never had such good service before being served by Jared. Our party was so impressed with Jared’s performance we immediately reserved a table a few weeks out.

WORST SERVICE EVER!! Had reservations at 9:30 but I arrived at 9:42 because finding parking was also bad especially in Hoboken. Well once we get there the ladys (servers) at the door asked if we had a table and we said yes. Well we go in and waited about 10-15 mins trying to locate the table to eat before enjoy our night. Well the lady who brung us in was confused on where to sit us so me and my friends just decided to grab the first open table available that could fit all of us. Well once we are seated, I’m guessing the manager comes in and questioned us to who gave us that table. I answered we have reservations and he just takes out his phone and says “it’s 10pm, no food is being served, are you ordering a bottle because its 1 bottle per 5 people inorder to have this table.” Mind you , no menus have been given to , nor do we expect to get 2-3 bottles. PRICES HERE FOR DRINKS AND BOTTLES ARE INSANE. I paid 61 dollars for 2 shots and 2 cups of henny with juice. Despite the long wait also at the bar the ladys only served girls who had cash in hand or only served guys who was buying drinks for a bunch of people. Well despite all the negative things that happened last night , the music choice of the dj was also TRASH. This whole establishment has to be reconstructed with better employees and service. When you go to Birch Hoboken , have cash and expect to pay at the door pass 10pm and don’t expect to find a table just grab the first one you see.Ohh by the way, we ended up eatting and getting food inside of the club which arrived at 11:20 and i kid you not, the server added a 20% tip to each bill w/o our concent. I was also pissed about that part . WORST SERVICE EVER the guy server was never at our table checking up on us. I would never go again to BIRCH HOBOKEN. (It should be called BIT** We-broken your pockets)

This place is a one huge unfunny joke. There are so many bouncers on the dance floor cutting through people that it makes dancing very uncomfortable. When I was in the bathroom one of them stood up on the urinal to see what was going on in the bathroom stall! There is no respect for privacy whatsoever, and the staff is also incredibly rude. I was disgusted and will never visit this place again.

I went out clubbing yesterday with a couple of my friends and literally bought two honey jack and coke. I checked my Wells Fargo account this morning and saw that they charged me $50 dollars!! Yikes!! Be very careful when you keep your tab open. The funny thing is that I signed the receipt and it was only like 21 dollars and i gave them a 5 dollar tip. Make sure to check your bank account before leaving this place. Nice place but Ill most likely skip this bar in the future. Take care of your wallet.

As someone who plans many events around Hoboken, I can say that working with the team at Birch is always one of the best experiences I have. Cara and her whole team are not only professional but also extremely flexible, easy-going, and are so much fun to work with. Ive hosted a variety of different events there from yoga classes, to large markets, to happy hours and the Birch team executes top-notch service, decor, music, drinks, and food every time. All guests and attendees of any event Ive ever done also comments on how beautifully decorated Birch is for each season. The space is bright, clean, and feels personal while also feeling special. I highly recommend hosting events at Birch-- you wont be disappointed.

Got a few drinks with my wife. About to get some more and was asked to remove my cap. Interesting I’d been in there for an 1 and a half at the same place and no one said anything, besides being one of the best dressed in there. Instead of getting more drinks (and spending more money) I just left. Won’t be back. Take a note from all the bad reviews and go anywhere else instead.

I went there on a Saturday night. I didn’t like that the security guys were bias and discriminating towards certain types of people and girls that were trying to get on the stage. I think the club was very chauvinistic because the securities were flashing the flashlights on the women’s rear ends. And while I was dancing someone grabbed my behind that can be considered harassment I suggest the establishment reviews their policy. #metoo

Worst restaurant experience weve ever had. Waited forever for food (which never came) and ended up walking out after about an hour of incompetence. The place wasnt busy at all. Three other customers. Waitress walked past multiple times after only having given us water and asked how is everything so far? No staff member seemed to really care, and they were unable to give me any estimate on how much longer the food would take. Avoid.

Brunch Buffet was terrible. Eggs were green. Empanadas and fried shrimp were cold and stale almost as if they were leftovers from night before. No Coffee. OJ was $4 extra per glass. $13 gratuity added to tab for 3 people at a self service buffet. Are you kidding?

This place is an absolute embarrassment. The only reason anyone even goes here is because the inside basically looks like a Pintrest board threw up all over the interior. If you want a very basic Instragram post of your Saturday brunch and thats your only desire, then you have hit the jackpot. If you want to actually enjoy your food and drink, then stay far away from this disaster. The service was so bad it was actually funny. It took an hour and 45 minutes for three bloody marys. Thats a 105 minute turnaround time for you math majors out there to mix some vodka, Tabasco, and tomato juice. The food was also hellacious. We would have been better served lighting our money on fire rather than handing real American currency to these idiots.

Bartenders charge double the actual drink price and stash the extra money into tips. Bartenders tip themselves changing amounts on credit card receipts. Go here if you enjoy being ripped off and paying double then anticipated.. Its unreal how unprofessional this place is.

Was celebrating my daughters bday as first timers to nyc. Music was pretty good, drink prices werent bad for nyc but had talked to management prior to coming to nyc and was told my daughter would get a few things for her bday upon arrival courtesy of them, the only thing we got was free admission that would have been only $5 anyhow. Tried texting Cara after we were in about my daughters bday and she never replied back. Their theme last night wasnt what was described to me either. Was hoping for a better time for my daughter.

Birch made booking a wrap party for our NBC television series very easy. Flexible and very accommodating of our changing needs. The space itself is a perfect blend of hip and classy, plenty of space for dancing - our crew stuck around long after the party ended and the space opened to the public. Most importantly, half our crew lived in NYC and the other half in NJ - Birch is only a single block away from the Hoboken Path station and is a perfect compromise to ensure we had maximum turnout by making it convenient for everyone. Would absolutely book again!

Booked a vip table for my 25th and the staff went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and that I was having a good time. Tiffany, the VIP manager, was really sweet and accommodated everything for me and my guests so well.

My friend had a lunch birthday party here. The food was ok and the service was horrible. The DJ could of been more mindful that it was 12 in the afternoon and the music didn’t need to be obnoxiously loud.

The brunch buffet food was cold and the mimosas were 90% OJ. The ID check process was complicated and pointless. The staff was friendly and attentive.

Sat down at the bar to enjoy a drink and a snack. After sitting there for twenty minutes watching the waitstaff looking at their phones and chat with each other I walked out. Would not recommend.

Poor service. Bar tender tended to bar and tables. Very abandoned restaurant. The menu has many options but only sandwiches and shakes were available. No burgers at all. Im giving this restaurant 5 stars for being a very beautiful venue for an event I went to. It was held on the 2nd and 3rd floor. It is definitely a lovely and intimate space for a party.
