After paying the amount on the website I went to check in where I was “informed” that the price on the website was not the actual price and that I would have to pay the difference if I wanted them to “honor” the agreement. I use quotations because the owner was very condescending and smug. After telling him I would not be paying anything extra he became aggressive and told me that he was the owner and if I didn’t like it I could find somewhere else to stay after which he proceeded to pretend to grab a weapon and when I still wouldn’t back down he called the police. He told me that he was the owner so he could do whatever he wanted. Just know you will be treated horribly and ripped off. Don’t pay anything up front unless you are willing to pay a lot more. When I called the main office they were exactly as smug. I am under the impression that they are all related and it’s a family business of ripping people off. Please for the love of who or whatever you worship go somewhere else and save yourself the headache and money.
This hotel has a bad wrap. Its a family owned hotel with a small staff. Its clean and has amazing charm, the bed was so fluffy and comfortable it felt like sleeping on a cloud. The room had been remodeled recently, there were some plumbing issues but they were resolved quickly. The owner has been working on this hotel for a sum of 70 years not counting the partnership he had during the 2000s. This hotel originally was a much grander stay but was altered by the partner and is currently working its way back to its hay day. The overall stay of the hotel was great, I regret not taking more photos, there are murals and lovely vintage furniture. It really is a romantic get away stay
We originally planned on staying at the Motel 6 just a few doors down from here. Motel 6 was such a disappointment that I decided to give this hotel a try. The front desk worker was so helpful and understanding. After I told him about our incident with Motel 6 I asked if he could show me a room before I paid AGAIN. He was very nice and showed us the room he could offer us. The place needs updating and I think they are trying. I would definitely stay here again for a night or 2.
My experience here was absolutely appalling! I called ahead of time for a reservation. I was quoted a certain price and when I went to check-in, The older gentleman at the desk wanted to charge me a higher price. I offered to show him my confirmation email and he wasnt having it. He then stated he didnt want to rent a room to me because he said I would tear his room up because of the misunderstanding. Sir, my mother raised me better than that! I felt so disrespected, I wouldnt recommend this place to my worse enemy. It was dated and not very clean, but I was stopping due to weather and couldnt drive. I ended up finding a place down the road, but this experience was AWFUL!
I was warmly welcomed when i arrived to the hotel by a kind man he gave. I was coming by myself for a night just to get some fresh air from illinois(which isnt that far haha) but i originally was told a different price from the one that was online and we got that figured out which wasn’t much of a difference and I was also offered snacks and drinks whenever I wanted to, which were downstairs overall a great experience as a customer. The only downside was when I was going to take a shower the curtains were a little dirty, and it looked like they haven’t been cleaned.
At 1st I was going to leave an amazing review, until the owner and/or manager accused me of smoking marijuana in the room. I in no way shape or form smoked in there. If I did that whole hotel would have been high!!! I requested that his construction worker come and do a sniff test, which he did and confirmed that there was no smoking done in the room at all. He went to the owner to tell him there was no smoking in the room at all and that he was wrong..... The guy STILL accused me of it AND told me I hurt his feelings and started talking about Our God will be the judge and some other religious stuff....like really??? So basically I AND his worker are liars!!! It is a nice place, the woodwork in the lobby area is BEAUTIFUL, the room wasnt too bad, looks like maybe some remodeling still going on in there but it was decent. BUT the owner SUCKS he screamed at me and because of his behavior I wont stay again.
I like the hotels look inside and outside. The hotel was clean and quiet. My only complaint was the rooms door. There was a loud creaking noise when I opened and closed it. And I heard the other doors were doing the same thing.
They charged me for a room online, then they said they were full in person depsite me paying. Service is truly the worst ive ever seen. Nothing like the pictures. Lobby/rooms reek of cigarettes and weed
Looks can be deceiving bed bugs is a yes didnt realize till I had to toss a band new purse image if I brought up my suitcases! But thats a side note I arrived at 4:30am close to 5am checked in went to sleep and he charged me full price not a pro-rated anything for taking a nap and checked me out sameday I paid he said his hotel is not a 24hr basis stay he even lied on my receipt and said I stayed a night and I never did kicked me out sameday and stole my shorts and headphones I returned for them and he kept saying you had nothing here... elohim knows!
We had a very nice conversation with the owner and he is so hospitable and kind. This spot is perfect for refreshing from a cross country road trip. A sweet, calm vibe to the place too!
We had a very nice stay at Casa Loma. Dean the front desk manager was very warm and welcoming to us and we really appreciated his kindness and hospitality. This is a family owned hotel so if you’re expecting the familiarity of a corporate owned chain hotel, this is not that type of place. Our room was nice and clean. We booked a queen bed and received a free upgrade to a king size bed. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. I had no negative impression of this place like I am seeing in some of the reviews. It saddens me to see because I know the owners mean well and are good honest people. Some people just aren’t into more old world, family owned style businesses. I can see how it isn’t as modern or newly renovated as corporate chain hotels but those pleases don’t have the charm that this place has, they also don’t have stone and log construction like Casa Loma has. I hope to have a reason to return to the quad cities area so I can stay here again! Highly recommended
I would NOT recommend this place it’s dirty, the costumer service is terrible, everything is outdated and broken yet they’re still open. This establishment needs to be shut down permanently for code violations it’s not safe to be running as a business. Again I recommend you find a better place to stay.
Despite the negative reviews we decided to stay there and do not regret it one bit. The front desk was super nice beds were comfortable room was cool. Hot water in shower. Stayed at hotels worse for more money. Some of these other reviewers are very picky. We stayed in room 201 and they take the nonsmoking very serious which I appreciated if I drive through Iowa again this would be the place to stay at.
Hotel slowly being renovated by the owner who lives here locally. This is a unique hotel with personal touches. Log cabin style walls. They have free pastries, chips, green tea, black tea, coffee available 24 hours. I was in a large room with king size bed. Despite getty a room that was not updated I was not entirely disappointed. My major complaints on old hotels is the bad smells, however this hotel does not smell bad at all. I would defy stay here again!
The staff was very friendly and helpful. It looks like they are working on the place. It was in a great location for us. The room we stayed in was very dated, the carpet was frayed at the bathroom entrance. The wood bathroom door was splintered (from water damage) at the bottom and being held open with a plunger. The carpet felt dirty and the smoke alarm was hanging from the wires. Bedding and shower were clean.
I ordered my room online and when i got to the hotel the owner would not let me check in because he said the room was $30 more than what they charged me online. i offered to pay the difference then was told that he wouldnt do it because he wasnt paid the $60 from the online reservation yet. i sat there for 2 hours trying to fix this and got nowhere. now im being told i wont get my $60 back because i checked in and out of the hotel which is not true. i will never go to this hotel or any oyo hotel and recommend everyone to do the same. i would rather stay under a bridge than give these people any of my money. they are rude and liars
Bedbugs and cockroaches?! I paid for a weekend there and couldn’t wait to get out. Should have booked a super 8 but the name was catchy. The hotel manager was rude and unprofessional. When I discovered pests in this supposedly newly renovated hotel I politely brought it to the attention of the manager and he was extremely rude and cursed me out. Since I had paid for the whole weekend and only been there for a few hours I asked if I could get a refund for the following evenings and only pay for the first night he accused me openly of trying to rip him off. I’m sorry. When I pick up a slice of pizza and I see 4 cockroaches snacking on it I’m not going to want to stick around. When I woke up the next day I had bedbug bites all over my neck and face. So I cut my losses and went to a different hotel for the remainder of my stay. I strongly recommend you avoid this establishment.
The room looked like it was painted with the front door open, the wall wasnt painted when you closed it. All drain plugs were removed. The fill valve on the toilet was broken and wouldnt shut off, I shut the water off manually. I had to fix the TV because it didnt have any channels, and the picture was zoomed in when I did. The pool was out of service. The 24/7 continental breakfast is fruit and oatmeal, not warm and fresh food, just a heads up.

Worst experience ever. I booked online the day before through a third party website. When we got there my husband went to check in and the man refused to rent to us because we had booked online and he didn’t like the price we had received and canceled our reservation. So I went in and asked for a letter for the third party website to get a refund and he said no I explained I would need it bc if I didn’t receive my money I would need proof of not staying. He began yelling and calling me names. Telling me that my husband and I were crooks that were trying to steal his money by booking online bc it was way lower than his rate and told me that we were bad people. Saying how he’s been in business for over 40 years and all this but in order for his hotel for be on a website and for him to receive the reservation he had to allow his hotel on those website. He was absolutely rude and disrespectful would never recommend staying.
Booked the presidential suite over a month ago. When I pulled up the website four days before our stay I noticed they didn’t show a presidential suite anymore. So I called and asked about it… I was informed that they no longer have the presidential suite and that I was down for a queen deluxe. When I explained that I was charged over $400 for the presidential suite and that my email confirmation stated “ presidential suite” not “queen deluxe” the guy on the phone got rude with me stating that “he had eyes to see his computer and it said queen deluxe.” As if I didn’t have eyes and couldn’t see my email confirmation stating presidential suite. Lol! Thankfully I booked this hotel through a different website and was able to get a full refund. I also made a complaint to the website that this hotel is offering rooms that they don’t even have and over charging people. My husband and I’s weekend wasn’t ruined by this hotel because we booked with a better hotel. Clearly the people running this place have no idea how to run a business nor do they have any professionalism. I pray that this review reaches someone before they waste their time and money on this business. After reading a lot of other reviews I don’t for see this hotel being open very long.
Great value. Unique interior details that would be too expensive to build today (stone, wood). My room was almost completely remodeled. Welcoming staff. Seems to be a fridge and microwave in every room. The pool looks like it will be down for a while but at this price pool access would be an absolute steal. Expect prices to go up in the future.
I absolutely adore the owner, he is the sweetest! He remembers me and I learn something new about him everytime I come. When im traveling for work I will always come to this location. Every room has its own personality and they are very spacious. I love the small touches the family adds to the place, it just makes it more homey and welcoming. Im never disturbed, the vending machines take debit cards, my rooms are clean, and the beds are comfy. I also love that I can do paper work at night and the place is quiet and relaxing. Ive always had a nice stay here.
Amazing hospitality. Room was beautiful. Recently renovated. Very clean. Stayed in handicap accessible room. Easy to manuverwalker around. Great shower with easy access. Would recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a place to stay in Davenport.
Although this will probably be my last night here, for now. This place is GREAT! If they had extended stay rooms, I could live here. The owner is such a great person. And he loves his place here. He was the GC in 1990 when it was built. When you have a passion for something, you put in your all. Lots of remodeling since I was here last Aug. Sad that they limit you to 5 stars. Ill definitely be back... If hell has me.
Weirdest hotel experience of my life...We booked a Deluxe Room, clearly showing a Jacuzzi Tub in the room.When we got there, the front desk advised us that wasnt actually the room we booked and we would need to pay an extra $30 for it, which wasnt happening. I told him forget about it and just give me any other room.We got a 2 bed room (when we clearly only needed one). The room had stairs leading up to the other bed. It was super outdated and the bathroom floor was absolutely disgusting.It was fine for the literally less than 6 hours we ended up staying here, but I 100% would not come back.
We love old rustic places but the coverlet, & linens had lots of holes in them.The carpet & sofa very stained. It didnt have a bad smell. Large rooms. Loved the peace & quiet. Everything in the room works great. Looks like its under new ownership(OYO) so they should start putting more money into the motel. Free breakfast coffee, fruit, & danish. $80. A night
Worst experience ever booked the honeymoon suite for my wedding day as soon as i checked in the manager was rude when i complained about the condition of the room and lack of usable WiFi the manager kicked me out and called the police. The manager expected me go call the internet company and fix the issue he was having. Holes in the walls faulty plumbing no WiFi and difficulty getting refund. Zero customer service at this place
Terrible experience. Was told on phone when I booked that room would be 60 plus tax when I booked. Rooms looked nice online. I got there to check in and they told me no that it was going to be 100+tax. So from there I was already irritated that I was lied to. So I check in to a dirty rooms, heat didnt work. Told the desk and they said that it would be fixed by MORNING! So I had to stay in a freezing room all night. They wouldnt change my room. Im pretty sure owners and housekeepers are doing illegal activities. Witnessed a couple illegal activities that I was not comfortable with as I was staying there. Mold and stains everywhere half of lights didnt work. Towel smelled moldy. Once I found bugs and bed bugs I got out of there as quick as possible. Lots of people I think are living there and it was over all not worth my money since I didnt even stay all night bc I was not trying to have bed bugs come with me. Do not recommend if you have children or recommend period. So not worth money or safety at that.
The hotel is very unique!!! I love the vibe of the place. The actual room smelled a bit moldy. Not well ventilation for a jacuzzi suite. Sheets and jacuzzi freshly cleaned. Floors are beautiful stone. Very clean and cozy over all
Very unpleased with this place. They said our room would be ready in 10 minutes and it was a half hour later that it was ready. We complained that there was mold in the room and he said since we booked 3rd party that it is not his problem and that it was a 35+ years and said if we wanted a different different room we would have to pay him 100.00 plus tax for a different room even tho we had paid. He would raise his voice at me for asking and telling him what was wrong with the room. I asked for a simple letter to give our 3rd party that we did not stay and he said that I was being a pain and rude and bc I didn’t pay him directly for the room that he owed me nothing. And told me to leave his place and to never come back. The person with me was grabbing stuff from the room and kicked him out for “smoking weed” in the room. Neither one of us smoke. Very unclean. I was told by a contractor that they have live wires hanging down in rooms he’s renting out. The 3rd party tried to reach him and he said that was not his number and refused to give me the company number as it was not his problem. Do not stay here.
It’s was okay, I was charged $8 more than what I was told over the phone.The set up was nice, the carpet in the room appears to have red staining, the toilet seat didn’t flush so I wasn’t able to use the bathroom until check out (in the lobby). No Iron!We visited from the East Coast, if the toilet was working and if the carpet was clean, I would’ve gave them 5 stars.Thanks Anyways!
We had a really good experience at Casa Loma. The room was clean, the bed was comfy, the sweet man checking us in couldn’t be any kinder. They are renovating and the place is really cute. My favorite part??? How quiet the place was.
I booked through Priceline, was offered a nice room and a decent price. Once arriving I was told that they only give you a good rate to book right away, you don’t actually get that room. I was so exhausted from traveling all day I crashed but when I woke up in the middle of the night, noticed there was no smoke detector on the ceiling, the fridge door not only dragged across carpet when opening it, it also had a dent on top that was letting all cold air out. When I tried fixing the heat to actual produce hot air, I notice black mold on the vents and immediately left.
Needed a place to sleep for a handful of hours so I found a discounted room here and booked it around 8pm online because we had a change of plans while on the road and got there late at night. The man checking us in wasnt rude but didnt seem intersted in being friendly. I get it, its late, I didnt hold that against him.We got into our room and it smelled mildew-y and just like old hotel. The switches by the door turned on the bathroom lights instead of room lights so we had to find those. Once we opened the windows and aired it out, the smell went away. The two room lights were lamps mounted on the wall and both worked, however, one was missing a shade, and the other, the bulb was hanging sideways and not attached properly. Then we noticed wires hanging down from the ceiling by the door, which we figured out would have been a smoke detector. Yikes.Oh, and the tub didnt have a shower curtain. Had the plastic rings still on the rod for one, but no curtain. There were towels and little soaps neatly laid out on the side of the tub and I thought that was hilarious in contrast.Checked out early in the morning to get back on the road and the guy simply took my room cards and we left. Lots of things to fix before that room should be rented back out.
Had a confirmed booking through Pri***ine. Confirmed, charged, and on my card.When I showed up to check in, the front desk refused to check me in saying that sales tax hadn’t been applied to my order.I showed him the receipt and confirmation. Again, he refused. He then tried to shake me down for cash, saying he couldn’t pay his housekeeping staff at the rate I had paid for my ALREADY CONFIRMED reservation. I refused his obvious scam.Scammy, scammy, scammy. There were two cars in the parking lot. He was shaking me down without a single doubt.Never, ever, ever again. This place and its current management can eat the biggest bag of you-know-whats.I had to scramble for other accommodations at the last second because of this guy’s grift. To hell with him, and this “hotel” as long as he’s in charge.Anyone that puts their card in this place’s hands is asking for trouble.
Reading previous reviews made me have a feeling to call about the room I selected online to make sure it correlates with the photos advertising the room its supposed to be. Was told no, that the room I wanted (the one with the heart tub) was $65 dollars more and that the internet doesnt have it correct on the site. Had one more day to cancel without being charged. Good thing I checked. So if considering this place definitely call and make your reservation that way and not online.
Needed a place to crash while on the road, came across this little place. On first impression its cute, warm, cozy, however when I got to my room I wasnt so impressed any longer. The only thing about it that i liked was the space. The rooms need a lot of upgrading from carpets to furniture..once that is taken care of this place will be THE spot !
Location was great, very quiet and peaceful. Great customer service, front desk guy was very accommodating! Room was nice size and clean, a few stains but not much to complain about. Overall a good experience and would def recommend!
We did not enjoy our visit:1. Front desk took forever to check us in2. Our room was not finished despite being there after our check-in time.3. The room had many safety concerns. It was missing part of the lock, had no smoke alarm or fire system.4. The room was a non-smoking room that clearly reeked of smoke.Overall, I would not recommend.
Worst hotel I have ever been too, rooms were run down, run down broken dresser draws. Nasty hotel and the front desk person had an attitude because we didn’t like our room and tried to refuse to give us a refund. We ended up having to call the police to be able to get our refund like that’s really how you want to run your hotel place won’t be here long
I called ahead to make sure they aloud service animals, I was told yes they did. We show up and first off the outside is just super sketchy and I did not feel safe. The lobby was gross and the front desk guy was rude af. We show him the dogs service ID cards and he says “no dogs”. I explained I was told different earlier. He didn’t care. I asked if a blind man came in with his service dog he would turn him away? He’s said “yes. No dogs.” He was so rude and I hate that this establishment doesn’t allow service dogs! Wouldn’t recommend supporting this business.
The gentleman was very friendly when I set things up over the phone last minute. He got me in and set up within 10 mins tops. Was very accommodating with me and my pup. The staff are very lenient with me on getting downstairs to pay each morning I’m not much of a morning person and they give me a little extra time past 11 to make my way down. They were very friendly with my pup. The house keeping couple are so sweet and such fun to talk to. All the staff try their best to make things happen as quickly as possibly for you when you ask respectfully. They try not to intrude on your space. Such great conversation with the house keeping gal and her bf. I haven’t been to breakfast so I don’t know how that goes. But their are no bed bugs here! I have been here three days and haven’t seen any bugs! Either they got this fixed or there are just some grumpy previous guests! I haven’t had any issues with this motel. The rates are reasonable. And I absolutely love the interior and exterior look! So rustic and country like! I am in love with the relaxation area and I wish it was winter so I could see the fireplace on!!!! I am very thankful that these folks here are so kind and genuine!
Rented a room here to invite a date too. Front desk saw me walk in with a 12 pack of beer and threw a fit and said I couldnt stay after I already paid. Ive never been more disrespected in my life. They acted like I was going to party all night and trash the place, now I wish I would have. Horrible experience, owners/management need changed, they are judgemental and biased and rude to paying guests.
We love going here. Yeah, there are people who stay weekly, there are people who come to get away have fun on weekends but its not full of bugs, and the housekeepers could do a better job not leaving hair behind but i clean apartments so i get how difficult that is when youre cleaning and things get moving. The staff is always nice to us. Parking could be better when the place is busy. Pool looks nice havent tried it yet. Jacuzzi heart rooms need serious ventilation when using it from the steam. Everything gets wet from steam. There is breakfast and vending machines. There is a fireplace and tv in huge round common area. I prefer second floor 201.
Have been coming here for at least 4 years. Not sure what peoples complaints are about. For the price, it is accommodating. Ive had clean rooms, only doesnt seem the showers always work right, but can work around that! Manager and staff have always been courteous and helpful.
The lobby and gathering areas inside Casa Loma are beautiful. The pool is very nice and clean. The rooms on the other hand are gross. Stained carpets in all 4 rooms I entered. The place smelling like marijuana and cigarette smoke. The linens were very old looking and the lady at the front desk during the day speaks very poor English. I wouldnt put my dead dog at the hotel. Prices and pictures on the Internet are very appealing but not as nice as its pictured online as it is in person.
My experience here was absolutely terrible. At first it seemed like a nice little cottage like motel for an affordable price, but in fact it was actually the worst place Ive ever been to. After my family and I booked the room it seemed very nice. However upon closer inspection we saw blood stains and other unpleasant bodily fluids on the mattress, and the sheets were torn, mold on the shower curtain and floor, pubic hairs on the pillows as well. It was obvious that there was soliciting and high trafficking in and out of the door. We kindly packed as I didnt want my 3 year old around this unhealthy place. When we went to the desk and asked for our refund the lady was being very rude and refused the re compensation. Would not recommend whatsoever.
Receptionist was moody and we couldnt have guests even enter the building. Went on some rant about hes being bought out and his 200 dollar rooms are being sold for 30-50 bucks. Rooms dirty and stained. Glad hes being bought out. Hopefully they fix it up and put someone on front desk that cares about people.
The owner Dean is a joke! I booked the honeymoon suite for tonight Saturday, March 12 2022 through there website. He called me last night Friday, March 11th 2022 and asked if I was still coming. I informed him that my reservation was for Saturday. I let him know that there website must have made a mistake. He then hung up on me. I called back and he became very rude. I asked if they were going to honor my reservation for tonight and he refused. He also refused to refund my money for a mistake on there end. This place is run my a Thief with terrible customer service! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME TRYING TO STAY HERE!
Casa Loma is a comfortable place to stay. Located just off Interstate 80 and Highway 30 intersect, this is ideal when visiting any of the Quad Cities. Be sure to call ahead or bring your key card to gain entry as the doors are security locked after 8m. The rooms at Casa Loma are very spacious and comfortable, with plenty of lighting throughout. The staff is personable and the price is beyond reasonable for anyones budget.
They don’t have elevators! They have a second and third floor to walk up stairs (with luggage).Carpets had multiple stains on them.VERY old/dated. Sink counter had been ‘repaired’ multiple times, and it shows.Desk attendant kept telling me they were in the middle of remodeling, but I didn’t see much evidence of that.
When we checked in the first room they assigned to us was awful. The beds were unmade, wet towels all over the floor and trash on the tables. The second room was a lot better, but the comforters have big holes in them and we are in a non-smoking room. The pool had extremely salty water. Lastly theres a foot of carpet outside our room that smells like pee.
This place is very dirty! We would not recommend this place to anyone. The sink was clogged, the box springs have holes, they do not have fitted sheets on the beds. The linen are stained, the rugs are all dirty so are the walls. If it wasnt that I couldnt find another hotel I would had left.
The hotel and the staff was fine. it was the OYO booking service that wouldnt refund our money when we need to checkout a night early. sounds like OYO gets to keep the money from the second night and the hotel gets nothing. what a rip off. i feel so bad for the hotel owners that they lost out on that money.
We have stayed here multiple times for extended stays and its been consistently quiet and the couple that ran it were very kind. The wife was so sweet, my 4yr old daughter loved it when she swum with us.
I dont recognize what they talking about this hotel was not clean they got bed bugs and roaches the owners was not friendly at all we asked for a refund she said no and hung up I went downstairs to talk to her, she started yelling and kicking the desk I had to call the police, the police came out told me it was nothing he can do, I had to take her to small claims court... They had stains on the wall stains on the carpet the phone in the room did not work buttons missing from the remote for the TV. It was so nasty I do not recommend this hotel to nobody... Everything in that hotel is old they need to upgrade...
Unique, clean, and rustic themed, this is the best motel Ive stayed in as I roadtrip across the country. Sure its a little tattered at the edges (in the wake of surviving the Covids), but proprietor Dean has added touches to the place by hand that make it feel, well, hand crafted, and Id go out of my way to stay there again.
Man and I got a room there this past Saturday. after we checked in i went to the room . To check it out. I work as housekeeping before. So I know what to look for in the first thing I did was lift up the pillow. I found 3 long hair. So I went to the front desk and told the man. He changed the bedding. When I woke up find more hair in the shower. And before getting in the jacuzzi found more hair. Never go again for now on I will do my research before we go to any hotel
Wife and I stayed for an overnight in a jacuzzi suite and though it needs a bit of fixing and some carpet cleaning the price was worth it just to relax watching my movies sipping my mimosas.. Deffinetly booking again for my birthday on Halloween :)
While they are a smidge pricier than other trashy hotels in this area, they do offer a continental breakfast. Rude Staff. I rented a jacuzzi room last night and it was terrible half the lights in the room didn’t work and the jacuzzi sprayed water everywhere that it flooded my room I had to go to the desk and ask for more towels I also asked to be switched to a different room and I got called a crybaby very disrespectful they took more money off my card that we agreed to this is the worst experience I have had here
Absolutely disgusting. Should have known just from pulling into the parking lot it was sketchy. Front desk was extremely rude. Got into the room (which hadnt been cleaned) and pretty sure there were bed bugs. Left immediately.
I booked room through Oyo website, then called property with a ? Only to be told they wont honor that rate for tonight. Are u serious? Its your website I booked it through. What a joke. Will never even try to stay there again.
I have always enjoyed the Casa Loma, however the front desk help is rude at best.They also have a new NO VISITORS policy that put a total damper on my stay. I was in a lofted suite & could not even have a family member in my room with me.
Rude staff. Wouldnt rent a second night lied about the dog trashing the nasty carpet from a previous stay. Claimed it had to be replaced though I confirmed it was not and even nastier months later. Pocketed my cash and accused me of not paying the full amount. Shady stuff here stay away.

I wish I could give it a 1/2 star ! If you need a cheap place to be, go here. The management is rude. The prices are too high for this roach motel. The whole building smelled like cigarettes. I booked 2 rooms but cancelled the 2nd night because the motel was not worth staying another night. DONT GO HERE IF YOU WANT A NICE HOTEL ROOM !
Came in late around 9pm to stay. Gentleman at the front was very nice and accommodating. Got me right into a handicapped accessible room. Was very professional and courteous. Pool was very clean.
Our stay was this past weekend. Our stay was OK for theost part. We were attending the John Deere Golf Classic. Every hotel in the quad cities was booked so we had no choice but to stay at Casa Loma. The rooms were fair but the people that were staying there were all hanging out in the parking lot drinking and drugging. I probably wont stay there again but my weekend was good
Still my favorite north Brady hotel. I like the gentleman that runs the place. I dont care what anyone says hes super nice. Also all the remodeling theyre doing is fantastic!
Got here without reservation, room is big and with plenty space the bed is comfy and clean ,plenty towels ,quiet place and the costumer service is really friendly they told me they been in bussines since 1995 and they will by updated the rooms in this coming days.at least my bedroom had his own microwave and mini fridge in good working order.. so far no complaints good experience and i recommend this place
The hot tub was ok but the room definitely needs up dated the the carpet was nasty if I could upload a photo I would I wouldnt even walk around without slippers on

The hotel clerk was not very professional took forever to check in on top of that i booked 2 rooms a presidential suite 2 queen beds and a 2 queen room but i got 2 single bed rooms instead , other than some of us sleeping on the floor it was pretty good
Everything about my room was either broken, stained, or dirty. Was unable to even shower in the morning due to the broken light fixture IN the shower.
Worst customer service ever. DONT STAY HERE! Online customer rep confirmed our booking that was already over booked. Plus when i called back they didnt trust me and instead of apologizing they were arguing with me. Bunch of lossers!

I had a HORRIBLE experience here! I believe it was the hotel manager and a front desk worker of the night , they were very rude! They were saying rude things, I believe they went in our room when we were not there and they were arguing with us. I will NEVER return here again. HORRIBLE!
Staying 3 nights, 2 rooms. Excellent accomidations, cereal, pastries, bagels, juice, milk and coffee for breakfast. Owner and staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Overall great experience. I would reccomend to anyone
Stains on floor and blankets random hangers on rack hair dryer cord cut Moldy rag in shower half the lights in room did not work booked room on booking.com and when I got there was told “we do no honor that price” so had to pay 60 more dollars for one of the worst hotels I ever stayed at

The casa Loma in Davenport Iowa was very accommodating. The rooms were spacious and very clean and the staff was friendly. Will stay again if givin the opportunity
Horrible customer service! Booked room online for $378, when got to the hotel and checked in they charged $551.05 and wouldnt refund anything even though we had proof of online booking. Very outdated!!

Horrible stay took 30 minutes to get checked in first room they put us in had a busted window second was busted and taped over but needed a place to sleep horrible service highly recommend going down the street somewhere else.

Absolutely no care is made at this place completely run down smelled like mildew and rot burns in my sheets along with questionable stains and host was not helpful Or empathetic or even offered to give clean sheets no breakfast no coffee in rooms the refrigerator didn’t even work I would honestly be appalled as a company to even represent an establishment as this and especially with cleanliness as still during a pandemic so hopefully none of my family ends up falling ill because a lawsuit will definitely be filed against that establishment
