Massage Envy

Nico provided superior masseur skills from when I entered the establishment with customer service asking me if I was enjoying my day in the wonderful weather on that Friday to making nice jokes connecting with me personally to her superb full body massage technique with gentleness and STRENGTH combined. I was even aware of her folding the linens around the limbs technique! I fell asleep several times and feel relaxed a day after the massage to which I generally dont feel the affects the next day. Nico deserves a raise and some praise!

My massage with Sherry was just what I needed. Very attentive and focused. Great techniques. Made sure the pressure was right for me throughout. And was friendly whether you want to chat or would prefer a quiet session. Was a very comfortable session and wouldn’t hesitate to book again with her!

On 8/27/2023 I discovered that Massage Envy had charged my card for an amount exceeding $600. However, my understanding was that my account was on hold, as I had more than 20 services available. At no point was I contacted by Massage Envy to authorize such a substantial charge, nor were there any prior attempts made to charge my bank account for previous services.According to Massage Envy, they claim that the hold on my account had expired, and they had attempted to withdraw the first months payment several months ago. However, upon reviewing my bank records, there is no evidence to support their claim. I did not provide any authorization for Massage Envy to charge my account for over $600.What exacerbates this situation is the lack of communication from Massage Envy. I was not informed that I needed to initiate a new freeze on my account, nor was I notified that charges would commence in the meantime. Additionally, when I spoke to three different individuals at the Davis location, they each provided conflicting explanations for the incident.Furthermore, I would like to express my disappointment with the account managers behavior during our interaction. She was extremely rude and condescending, showing no empathy for the predicament that Massage Envys actions caused. Despite explaining how this situation has affected my ability to pay my mortgage and other bills this month, the account manager displayed no concern and seemed solely focused on maximizing the companys profits.

My monthly facial is a sanity saver! All of the estheticians are great. Recently, Ive had my facials done by Allie. So-o-o-o-o-o-o relaxing!

I am trying to end my one year membership for several months so that it’s not renewed for another year with no success. I’ve been calling Massage Envy as well as talking with them in in person. This morning a person on call who said to be manager told me that she will send me membership cancellation forms over email right away, which of course hasn’t happened. Awful! I don’t understand whom I should contact about this terrible situation.

I have been going to Massage Envy for 4 years. After my first massage, I bought the membership! Moe is my massage therapist and I prefer the medical/sports massage which is a deep massage which is a phenomenal massage! I am a nurse and a mom, so I definitely look forward to my massages! I feel rejuvenated when I leave. Moe is great and I would highly recommend him and his fellow staff! I have had all great experiences in all my times there!

Selena is amazing! Ive had maybe a dozen facials before and shes the first person who I felt really understood my skin. She gave the best suggestions for my skin (and my pocket) and Im seeing the results following her guidance. Book her! She knows what shes doing!!

I have been to several massage envy stores, this one is recently remodeled and top notch. While I do have my favorite therapists Ive never been disappointed when I had to try someone new. Be it acupressure, deep tissue, lymph, reflexology, hot stone, couples they have it all! They also offer facials and sell the Murad skin care line. Worth the price if you are looking to pamper yourself.

Updated review... I have a lot of old injuries from a serious auto/pedestrian accident. These appointments keep me functional. I’ve been coming here for 4 years. The best part is Niko. She is the best, and I have received decades of massage therapy and PT. She has helped me break up scar tissue through the years. She is very good at deeeep tissue massage. For me, it is a matter of life or miserable life. So I am very appreciative of Niko and I cannot say enough great things about her. She has improved my quality of life. Thank you!!!!

This location has done a horrible job with scheduling. I have made multiple appointments and each one has been entered incorrectly or changed and cancelled without my knowledge. When I spoke up and said something the manager apologized and saw that I was frustrated but made no attempt to remedy the situation. It’s frustrating to go someplace to relax but end up becoming irritated with the scheduling issues.The massage therapists are nice and I have had no issues with them.

I had not been to Massage Envy for a few years. I was in need of a massage and that was the only place I could get into quickly. I was reminded again of why I quit going there. You tell them what you want, but they do what they want. I am then sore with what feels like bruises the next day.

It seemed she was massaging my bones instead of my muscles. The lotion was cold and felt like water, didnt lubricate my skin at all so that it hurt every time she rubbed my skin. It felt as if instead of massaging, she was scrubbing, and if that werent enough, her nails scratched me several times. Worst massage ever.

I really enjoyed my time here. I got a back facial and it was the best decision I have made. The estheticians are very knowledgeable and super nice.• Random Tip: dont do edibles before getting a back facial.

I drove an hour to Massage envy only to find out that they will be closed for a month. I booked my appointment online and received an email confirmation 4 days before my appointment. They had plenty of time to call me or send an email explaining the situation. I drove another hour home and I am in pain and disappointed with this business!!!
