Great service. A friend and I walked in around 9:35am on Picnic day and they fit us right in. Both had gel mani and pedi, done in a little under 2 hours. They were kind, salon was dated but clean. Prices were competitive, if not cheaper than other places I’ve been in this area. We will be coming back!

Nice people. My nails came out pretty nice, but it could have been better. I has asked for my middles nails with glitter lile an ombre, however it was more like half with glitter and half without. My lady also used her finger to wipe off some of the glitter off which meant that she had to layer the glitter even more. A couple of my nails ended a little uneven, but you cant tell too much. She did take her time and was careful with her work.

The photo speaks for itself, my nails were cut badly I looks like I chewed on them and they put the acrylic super thick. My nails are so ugly and chunky. You pay what you get. The lady who helped me was very rough I will not be coming back.

Honestly, this place depends on who does your nail… but in general, they all chat and look at other places while doing your nails…also, they need to learn how to remove nails, the person who did my nails kept poked my fingers violently by using a plastic extension nail (actually caused multiple cuts) and she used the nail manicure machine right after using the acrylic remover, which my nails got too thin and obviously there’s a wound on my nails bleeding.

Worst place ever. I am shocked. The lady was working on my nails, and I said I dont think my right and left hands look like the same. can you shape it a little bit very nice and polite. She said: I cant do what you want, wait for someone else or go to other place. This was so unrespectful. She left me in the middle of the way. I asked the other person she was like I am so busy I cant help you. I just dont understand why she did that. If you respect yourself just dont go to this place.I just asked can you shape it, and her response was, this is bc the shape of your nails, I cant do what you want, go to another place. :/

Melissa always manicures my nails perfectly and the gel polish last at least six weeks.

After a long time looking for a good nail salon I finally found this awesome place. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. This place is by far the best between other nail salons in Davis. Their prices are also cheaper compare to the others. I would definitely recommend it!

Can be quite hit or miss here. I’ve had some excellent pedicures, and some mediocre ones. The staff seems friendly and the place is generally clean. The price is pretty average for Davis. Guess the outcome depends who does your nails and what kind of a day they are having.

I have used Y2K nails for many years and absolutely adore the service that I get normally. Today was an unfortunate first disappointment-but it was a big disappointment. My daughter, granddaughter and I had appointments for mani/pedis. I ended up not getting my manicure because they chose to work on a customer who came in after us before finishing mine. I waited for at least half an hour between my pedicure and manicure. My daughter and granddaughter were already finished so I passed on the manicure. Like I said this was the first time that I have been disappointed so I am hoping it was just a fluke. Next time I will be sure to tell them that we all want to finish at the same time. An offer for a discount would have been a nice gesture but sadly there was no such gesture.

I really loved the times I went in for a fill-in but they totally lost me at removal. The tech PRIED my nails off and hurt me quite a bit. My nails are all rough, thin, and hurt. I went with it because Im very inexperienced with nails but I should have known better!!!

I’ve been coming here for over a year now for my pedicures. The polish lasts forever and the prices are affordable for what you get. I love the hot rock massage.

Went in for a gel manicure, was absolutely impressed by the quality of the technicians job, brevity that it took to apply, and duration of the polish (around a month with no chips or peels!). The salon itself was clean and tidy, conversation was light and comfortable, and selection of colors was many. No more hesitantly trying out salons for me, Ill be coming in for as long as Im in Davis!

Saying Heidi and her team are amazing would be an understatement. Ive never been rushed here, prices so fair, never left unhappy with my results. Pedicure lasted a whole hour and that was just new basic pedicure, which included a hot stone massage by the way. My cuticles and dead skin are history, no pain, no blood no foil. And my nails look phenomenal. Heidis fills last me a month each time and I just cant wait get back in. This isnt my first or second nail stop in Davis since 2012, but it sure is the ONLY nail shop Ill ever visit in Davis again. Have been coming here for about half a year now. Quality depends on who does your nails. Nice people, clean environment but wish they used separate heel scrubbers on each individual for cleanliness. Today I had a pedicure and both big toes were cut too short and one to the skin. Both a little tender to touch. This should not happen.

I asked for a manicure and pedicure. The gal that was doing my nails had a meltdown when she was reminded by her staff colleagues that I wanted a manicure also. She literally had a temper tantrum. I’ve never seen anything like it before!

LAZY / DAMAGING gel removalClearly the nail tech never learned how to properly remove gel manicures. She barely scraped the gel a few times before putting on the acetone.Then roughly scraped the barely soaked off gel using the tool angled towards the nail bed.Scraped over my cuticles numerous times, which was painful.Then she filed off the rest of the gel that was stuck on there, which took a long time and made my nails so brittle and thin.If shed properly buffed off as much gel as possible (GENTLY) before the acetone they would have soaked off almost completely, then only requiring gentle scraping, parallel to the nail bed.I changed my mind about even getting a color. I didnt want to be there anymore.Uneven shaping.Literally another girl was asking for a different nail tech while i was there and they ignored her.Never coming back.

My best friend and I were seen for a walk in pedicure and the service was very good, our technicians were very kind and had a good sense of humor. Ill definitely be back!

I got acrylics/tips put on about 2 months ago and have been getting a fill every month and theyve held up well. The gel paint holds up well for a month too. So far no problems!

Heidi is amazing and so sweet! My nails look great every time!

I got my acrylic nails done a few times here and as they were taking the old nails off they were literally ripping them off. I would not recommend to go here due to the quality of the service

I came in during my lunch break and was helped by an amazing nail tech . My nails are strong and beautiful. Thank you so much - you will not be disappointed!

While other salons were busy and wouldnt take a walk-in on Friday afternoon, I enjoyed a quiet and relaxing pedi at this place. They are also about $5 cheaper than other downtown salons. Solid place!

Hello! I have been coming to Y2K many years now off and on and have never been anything but pleased. They have fantastic service, are on time, and are always willing to accommodate for their customers. I highly recommend coming here, as I havent had close to the experience I at y2k anywhere else in town.

My favorite place to get gel nails in Davis. They looked really good and stayed on for a long time! Good price for great quality and service was great too.

Not a fancy salon by any stretch of the imagination, but friendly, fast and careful. They don’t have a very good selection of current nail colors. This isn’t my “go-to” place, but it is a good option in a pinch.

I went there for a gel manicure. My nails were not super long but now, they are ridiculously short. And the gel nail has been applied badly. It is really ugly... I just lost money and time.

I go to Y2 nails every 2 weeks to have my nails painted, however in September I had a pedi for my daughters wedding and a month later ended up at the ER with a bad toe infection, took all the antibiotics but my toe wasn’t getting better and I realized I have a fungus, today my whole toenail came off, it looks awful 😢

Good product, slightly difficult learning curve but I also had never been to a spa before. Decent price
