I’ve been here a few times with my grandma, she’s 89. Lisa does her pedicures. The staff here is incredible with her. Very patient and understanding and kind as can be. Every time we come she asks if we’ve been here before. 😞 but, she is always treated like the star client. Gail did my hair and I am so happy with the results. I highly recommend this business for all your pampering needs.

The salon was very nice and practical. There was a lot of available parking. I didnt have to wait. Jessie was so nice and easy to talk to. She did a phenomenal job on my hair, just what I asked for. I got a massage with Olivia. I’ve had a handful of massages (at other places) and she is by far the best! She takes her time and really focuses on what YOU’RE looking for. If you’re looking for someone to match your needs, she’s the girl for you. She customized the whole experience for me! Also, she was just so sweet. Couldn’t be more pleased!

Must go see Jessie! I get my hair done every 6-8 weeks and she is the best! My color always turns out amazing and she loves trying new things with me. I always get a wonderful experience and she works hard to keep my hair healthy.

I just switched over to this Salon and let me say Im impressed. I have never been a person into my hair. I have previously been to places and paid 300 plus on a highlight job that takes 4 hours. I have better things to spend my time, and money. The Salon on Rahn is not one of those places, I first went on Good Friday and had my hair done with Jessie. The price was completely fair and it didnt TAKE FOREVER. She did an amazing job! So I decided to take my 5 year old today. She had only been to Cookie Cutters, and lets say its has always been a you get what you pay for hair cut. Im so pleased with today! My daughter loved it! She loved Jessie! It will be a work in progress to fix the 3 years of kid cuts. Im a customer for life.

My first visit to the Salon on Rahn and with Madison.She is amazing and alot of fun, we connected right away and she also taught me how to take care of my hair.She did my color and cut that I wanted with some guidance to what would work.We had great conversation and laughed which put me at ease.Thank you so much Madison 💓

Went to Jessie today for a cut and color and once again, was thrilled! She takes the time to listen to exactly what I want, is super friendly and sweet and makes sure i love my look before i get out of her chair. So glad I found her through Groupon a few months ago....i will not be going anyplace else!

Love Jen Miller - a stylist who really listens and then provides the cut you want and need! Salon itself is super spacious with lots of nice people.

I got partial highlights and a cut from Jessie. She did an amazing job and I absolutely love my hair now. I was hesitant to try out a new hair stylist but she was so personable and friendly and did a fantastic job on my hair. I will definitely go back to her again.

This has become my favorite salon! Super friendly staff and great atmosphere. If you are looking for a new stylist I highly recommend Sara Hammond!! I would not trust another person with my hair. She always does wonderful and it always turns out better than I imagined. I always get amazing compliments after leaving her chair. I was in today 2/15/18 with Jessie. She was very knowledgeable and talked with me on everything I needed wanted and what she was doing. I used a Groupon only because new to area and looking for a new stylist and it was well worth it. And the place is so nice and clean and huge they have everything you could want. If needing a good hair experience get a hold of Jessie and give it a shot.

EJ, Trina, Amanda, and Jaye were all wonderful! It was my first time at this spa and salon and they were very informative. My hair looks and feels very healthy and my skin is much improved. A perfect salon and spa in Dayton! I can’t wait to go back.

I would like to praise Jessie Manning, a hair stylist at The Salon on Rahn. She always treats me like a Queen with a smile on her face and gets me to the look I want. She has helped restore my hair to the locks I love. She can work with any style and can be very accommodating. You will love her like I do!

This was my first time here and normally keep my hair very long!!! I was looking to change it up so i opted for the asymmetrical pixie cut!!! Jessie was great at assuring me that i was in good hands!!!! Which I was!!! She did a great job it is perfect my husband and kids loved it!!! I will definitely keep seeing Jessie!!!

I visited for the first time after purchasing waxing services on Groupon with Trina Broadway. The parking lot had plenty of parking, the salon was clean, welcoming front desk staff, and coffee and water station. Trina did a fantastic job and is very knowledgeable about her wax and what works best where. She is quick, accommodating, super personable, and very professional. You are missing out if you don’t book with Trina.

I went in for a cut and color with Jessie and had a great experience. She was kind and peofessional. Jessie provided me with a ton of education regarding which techniques and products are best for my hair and why. I left satisfied with a new product to try at home!

Not only is this salon absolutely beautiful, but Ive received such good service on every occasion I go there! Trina Broadway does my brows(wax and tint) and they look absolutely beautiful, I have never seen my brows look so great and I love them! Shes so great at what she does and so polite, easy to talk to, and just gives off a very positive vibe when you meet her, I absolutely recommend Salon on Rahn & more specifically, Trina Broadways services!! Seriously check her out!UPDATE: Trina still does my brows and she is the only one I will ever trust w them! Also she performed dermaplanning on my face and it was GREAT! So glowy and smooth, made my makeup look fantastic! Wish I could leave more than 5 stars!

Went first time with Groupon purchase for Jessie. She is really really really good hair master and just nice person, who can make you feel comfortable and let you go home with beautiful hair.

Jessie cut and styled my hair. Love it! I enjoy talking with her as she is working on me. The salon is nice as well as everyone Ive come in contact with there.

Brooke didnt even arrive at the salon until 25 minutes AFTER the appointment was scheduled to start. There was no apology for being late. Very unprofessional.

I called to schedule an appointment and the lady at the desk booked me without confirming with the stylist. When I got there they acted like everything was fine and let me sit in the waiting area for ten minutes before telling me that they couldnt get ahold of the stylist! Now Ive waisted my Saturday and no one will for me in last minute! If I owned that salon I would have at least made sure someone else could have got me in, but to just send me home with a sorry is unacceptable!

Bought a groupon- took 6 months to get scheduled. Manicurist picked a fight with me saying it was probably because of the time I wanted. Wrong! When I called in February I asked for first available and they gave me July. Manicure is one of the worst Ive ever had! The nail polish was poor quality but she also painted over my cuticles so within a few hours it was already starting to peel off. Pedicure not much better as she spent the majority of the time complaining about getting the previous polish off my toes. Told me if I wasnt her last appt of the day she would have told me to go home and take it off and come back another day! Great customer service! Never coming back again! Very rude treatment for 2 hours of nothing!

Three of us went to Heathers Cafe for the first time and enjoyed a great brunch. The Cafe is quaint and homey. The staff is very friendly and the food is very good. Looking forward to going back for lunch or dinner.

I came in to the Salon to have a perm that give me a Beach Wave. My hair dresser was Sara Rose. I asked if she needed to see pics and she said she did not that she was comfortable knowing what a beach wave was. Now she never worked on my hair but she did a fantastic job for my daughters up do for her wedding and thought she would be a good choice. I had some pleasant conversation and during time of my hair processing she disappeared never offered me magazine or drink while I waited. She came back neutralize d my hair, cut it and partially dried my hair said she was done. I did not have glasses on did not see a lot and do not remember being handed a mirror. I went outside my car started looking in mirror and put my glasses on and almost cried. I should have marched back in but I think I was to shocked and maybe embarrassed at way I looked. I waited to wash my hair several days as instructed and hair still did not look right. My hair cut looked choppy and frizzy. I tried to talk with Sara and was basically told that there is nothing she could do and everyones hair takes perms differently. I have had perms before and never turned out like this. I fight my hair every day trying make it look OK to go out but I fear I will have to have more cut off. Sometimes a person can be a good updo Dresser but not a good hair specialist that can do good perms. I really wish I had a better experience because I HATE to complain. You know if she even offered to have me come back to look at it and see what may be done to help me I would have a better feel than I do now. So ladies know your hair person well before chemical treatments!

I love the atmosphere here! The receptionist is warm and welcoming as soon as you walk in. Theres even coffee and water while you wait. They offer a wide range of services, theres something for everyone here. Everyone is very polite and professional. And they also do a really good job.

I love this salon! So fancy, professional yet personal and extremely friendly. I see Jaye for all my skin and nail services and she always makes me feel amazing.

I am writing about a technician at The Salon at Rahn. I purchased a Groupon from Trina Broadway on 12/5. I called Trina on 12/21 and left a message that I wanted to speak with her and schedule my appointment. She did not return my call. I called her again on 12/23 and left the same message. She did not return the second call. I called her a third time on 1/5 and left a message. In this message, I indicated I would call The Salon at Rahn since I didnt know what was going on and why she was not returning my calls. She called me back within 10 minutes, but indicated she thought she had missed a call (not listened to any of the messages) . I explained I had contacted her three times and wanted to schedule my appointment. She indicated I would need two appointments for best results before my trip. At this point, she confirmed me for the Groupon and additional service appointment and I had agreed to a second appointment for two services The conversation went well and everything was agreed upon and confirmed. On 1/6 Trina called and told me she had listened to my messages (finally!), and did not feel we were a good personality match. She indicated she had notified Groupon and told them to refund my money, but that I would need to call them for it to actually be refunded to me. When I asked her for the numbers she indicated I dont have the number you would call, youll have to go onto the site and find it. I have now wasted weeks trying to confirm an appointment with her, only to have her cancel it and indicate we were not a good personality match. I am not sure why she is advertising on Groupon, if she feels you need to have a Personality match to wax someones legs. At no point did Trina apologize for not returning phone calls, in fact she was rude when she called me to tell me she had canceled my appointment. One of the poorest customer service experiences I have ever had. Trina was completely unprofessional. Hopefully she is the exception at The Salon at Rahn and not the norm.

If I could give this salon 0 stars I would. I get to the salon where Im told the system allowed me to book appointments with people who arent in the building. As a result, I was told Id have to come back another day for a haircut and gel manicure.Never in my life have I ever encountered such unprofessional behavior. Aside from that, they offered a piss poor apology. I will NEVER come back here.

Bought a groupon for massage. Called several times to set up an appointment. They said they had to check with Molly and asked us to call Molly directly. That seemed unprofessional that we would need to jump through hoops to call a specific person. We did call Molly and left a message and never received a call back. Very disappointed.

Giving one star because it was impossible to schedule an appointment. A couple months ago I had purchased a Groupon for this salon. After leaving a message and calling on several different days I couldnt get a hold of anyone. I got a call from the owner after leaving a one-starred review but it was too late because I moved out of state and now my Groupon is wasted.
