Its been a while since I went there. It tends to be crowded . And the bartenders do tend to favorite some other than others. But when we do go. The owner treats us awesomely every time. The last time there was last week and when he saw us he came up and gave us both a big hug and said how nice to see us after all this time. He treats us like we are big spenders every week. Yet we havent been there for over a year. That in itself was the best part of going there. And he always greats us.

My partner and I had an amazing day at the Lady Bunny show during Denver Pride. It was a very welcoming and warm crowd and staff and we felt at ease right from the start.We had some people with us at their first Pride and they loved the experience!Would definitely recommend!

The coolest gay bar in Denver! After I went there, it became my favorite spot! Especially their beerbust Sundays, so fun! I can have beers and interact with people! Also their bartenders are more than amazing! Especially Tank, OB and several others I forgot their names!Their underwear nights Thursday nights are so fun as well if you’re into that! Also, they are active on Instagram and they keep posting about their events! Highly recommended whether you’re visiting or you live here. I think Trade is the best gay bar in Denver

A clean, well run and thoughtful space. The service was excellent over a very busy Pride weekend. Entertainment is top notch. The absolute best vibe in all of Denver. Thank you for an amazing time!

Went to Trade a couple of times for their underwear nights. Each time my partner and I found some cool people to chat with in our underwear outside. The staff were nice and the general culture and atmosphere of the event was very accepting and respectful. Seemed like a nice mix of people (age, race, body type, etc). I cannot say the same to other similar establishments I have tried in other cities. Would definitely recommend to any gay men interested in meeting other gay men, guys just wanting to show off, or women who dont want to be harassed in a traditional bar.

Had a great time here. Like every other gay bar Ive been to, the staff and clientele alike are mad friendly and the vibe is pleasant. Its a bit on the dank side but they liven it up with a lovely Colorado Rainbow flag and a really cool, artsy piece in the middle bearing the bars name. Loved that it looks like a biker bar or something from the outside, haha... great stop if youre partyin in the Lincoln Park area.

Always a great service and great place to be on weekends to relax and have some fun. Now with Monday bingo. Love it

This isnt a Gay Bar. The drinks and service are fine but its definitely not a Gay Bar. This is just another Denver Bar for working professionals. If your looking for a good place for an after work happy hour, a young Republicans meeting or even a fundraiser for Donald Trump

Ive never been to Denver. So, Im pretty intense and I drove to 3 other gay bars before this one and left instantly cause they were all tash. This one (Trade) was fab and the bartender was a star (also the front guy was super nice). Sorry about it.

Im confused why they have a dj... nobody dances because he doesnt motivate them to... he kinda sucks sorry. Tracks and the foxtail. I was lucky

This place is great! The first time I went it was pretty quiet (Monday night), and I met a fun group of guys. When I went again it was crowded (theme night on a Saturday that people were very into), but they have a great outdoor patio if you want some air, and an enclosed outdoor area thats quieter and less crowded if you just want to talk to peopleThe bartenders here are great (and quick!). They genuinely take care of people and are super welcoming. The first time I went Juice gave me a big hug to welcome me since I was new, Ive never had that kind of love come from bartenders before, but it was great. Of course dont expect super fancy cocktails or anything, this isnt that kind of bar, but they have all of the things you would expect from a bar like thisCant recommend this place enough really, Im usually not a big bar guy, but Im looking forward to going back again!

Strange little bar. We went on Sunday for beer blast. They have a nice outdoor area, cheap drinks and friendly staff. Wasnt my favorite crowd, felt a little judged for wearing a pink romper.

Great gay bar and drink prices!

Bartenders are very unfriendly with zero personality. One thing that was new. After buying a few drinks and tipping well, I asked for a cup of water and they wanted to charge for it. Ive traveled to a lot of places and in the very least as long as you were ordering a drink then getting a side of tap water wasnt an issue. A bunch of friends arrive int he near future and we definitely wont go here. The bartenders are very unfriendly and expect to get to get tipped well while having an attitude.

I love this bar. Definitely one of my favs in Denver. They change their outside space from day to day making it feel different every time. The staff is very friendly and know each and every one of their guests.

Amazing watering hole for the community. They welcome everyone and prove it with a night of the week for each subculture. Any day or night you come here you will either learn something about others you didn’t know or you will find the group that shares your same interests and feel at home.

Amazing place. Great staff! Bartender, never got his name, asked, “how I was getting home?” I had a sober friend driving me. The simple fact that the bartender made sure I was getting home safe means A LOT!! Well done, Trade! I will be back!!

I was visiting Denver and someone told me to come to trade so I got a Uber and the night I went which was a Friday they had a goth night and the vibe was fantastic! The bartender made excellent drinks and made me a shot of vodka that was strong and fruity at the same time! This bar was a lot of fun!

Either lost or had my wallet stolen here last night I have been completely unable to get a hold of anyone at the bar and received little help when I came into the bar to look for my wallet.

They were so nice and drinks were affordable and delicious! They have a coin flip discount where you call heads/tails and if you win, your drink is only $1. WHAT A DEAL!!! I won twice so that was a big win for me haha.Bartenders were extremely friendly and even though they were busy, they found time to chat with us and make us feel at home.The outdoor area is nice and we enjoyed sitting and enjoying the atmosphere. They have infused spirits they make from scratch as well. The infused drinks arent my thing but theres definitely some unique flavors sitting behind the bar.We love small, divey gay bars and Im glad we found this place while visiting from Estes Park. This is a must stop if youre in the area!

The staff are entitled peons with Peter Pan syndrome and ego power trips. If youre not appealing to them, throwing big bills, or onion smelling regulars. Theyll ignore you or try to run you out with dictating drug fueled courage. The event flyers and actual day of dont follow thru. Whatevs the other gay bars are lots more welcoming.

A friend and I went on Saturday, one of their busiest days and had a great time. We were seated quickly in one of their outside tents. We enjoyed their drinks and our servers friendly attitude. Great little bar in Denvers art district. Great atmosphere to come with friends to.

I like Trade Bar i go on Sunday’s because im a house head. Originally from chicago. So tonight a white man walked up to me and told me i dont fit in. i wanted to smack his azz but i walked away. blew my entire night. not sure if ill be back plus i get the same drink everytime one week its one price and other week its another price. really sad right now….

Brian and gang are so nice 😊 I had the best time last night learning more about the culture and vibe of this local hangout, just a hop, skip and jump away from Cherry Creek & also minutes away from Denver Sweet. Love we don’t have to go all the way to Colfax to get our fix in for good people & down to earth men. Loud, upbeat music and various events throughout the week make for a great time at Trade. Perfect to chit chat with friends or just relax to an entertaining soundtrack that embodies a very chill, hip vibe; happening, neighborhood joint with friendly bartenders / management.

The beer is ok but at a beer bust we had had 40 bicks in food and one of the servers threw it away without even asking anyone. It was on topOf our cigar case and in plain site it wasnt even touched yet. And we were right beside of it.

I visited Trade during my trip to Denver from Dallas. I felt at home as soon as I walked through the door!Bar tenders were fun, drinks were good, and everyone was comfortable in their own skin!The only thing I regret is closing the bar down before I had to board a 7am flight but it was well worth it. Made new friends while I was there!Go Trade, Go!

Update : I finally made it back Trade after their short closure. It was a definite improvement. Now they now have a dance floor area (lights and disco balls). I am excited to see what other improvements they add.

Had my first and last visit a couple weeks ago. It was dark, dank, loud, and any time I came inside from the patio a wave of port-o-potty stench slapped me in the face. Theyre also not responsive on social media when I asked about an upcoming event. That was my final determination on whether I would try going again.

Always visit Trade when I am in Denver. Friendly, welcoming staff. Got to participate, twice, in Rough Play night last Friday. An incredible experience. Can’t wait to visit again on my next trip.

Meh this manager on Thursday night is full of it!It’s underwear night. And he gave me 2 strikes when half of the people in the room are exposed… bull****Sounds like jealousy to me. If you’re gonna enforce a policy apply it to everyone.Not impressed

Sure, you have plenty of gay bars around Denver to choose from! Trade just happens to be one of the better ones. They have an actual parking lot for one thing, and plenty of street parking in addition. They also have reasonably priced strong drinks, very friendly, handsome bartenders, & a really fun atmosphere. Plus the patio is killer.

Small but fun bar, good atmosphere. Its more of a bear/leather crowd. Great drink pours, great prices. Spent 5 days in Denver and got drunk all 5 days at this joint.

I am visiting Denver from overseas, and have been to Trade twice during my week here. Both nights were very fun! They have a large outdoor area that is fairly well protected from rain until the weather gets really beefy. Hot people of all shapes, sizes, colours, and flavours 😉 seem to attend here quite happily. The bartenders (at least during my two visits) pour GENEROUS drinks - Im terrified to know what they think a double is, lol! Theres also an amazing Latinx owned taco truck that does GREAT food for an awesome price! Just what you need to line your stomach for those heavy drinks, eh?Unfortunately I had a rough night on my second visit; it ended up being one of those nights out where I lost my phone, wallet, bag, everything EXCEPT the clothes off my back (and they probably werent far behind). The following day the bartenders and owners/managers were INCREDIBLY sympathetic and as helpful as possible - we actually got my phone back!(Still looking for the bag... and a cowboy hat... so if anyone finds either, Id be so grateful for their safe return. Probably grateful in a financially viable way, if you know what I mean! 😉 )Just cant say enough good about the staff at Trade, they are really wonderful people, and this venue is a major resource to the LGBTQ community.Its worth mentioning that Im a queer transgender man, and have had great experiences with how I was treated and being wonderfully flirted with in this venue. I dont know if this is the norm, but it was pretty nice for me, as not all gay bars in the world are trans friendly. So kudos there as well!Thanks Trade-folk! I will not forget my time with you - for so many reasons! 😃

I enjoy the staffs friendly and welcoming attitude and the drinks are always great. Trade has amazing theme nights. My husband and I love this dive bar.

Worst experience ever! I had like two drinks and got hit on by some douche bag who stole my straw and lock strike one! Strike two the bar tenders charged me two different prices for the same drinks. Strike three the bouncer wasn’t very understanding when I told him about my I’d. Instead of problem solving he was dismissive and not very helpful with me!

GREAT PLACE!! Very friendly people-nice patio to enjoy, even in the colder months (they have 3 fire pits). Not like all the other LGBTQ bars in Denver because you dont get the typical attitude.

I love how the bar complained to google and took down my earlier review pointing out that myself and many others have been victimized here with the staff well aware. Consenting behaviors are not encouraged. Watch your drinks and watch for predatory people.

This place continues to evolve and grow. Addition of food Thursday to Sunday is great. An outside caterer sells his wares on the patio. Simple food done well. At a reasonable price. Cant ask for more!

Got there a little early in the evening so it wasnt too crowded but had it fair share of people. Staff and bartender were friendly, drinks were good and reasonable priced. Will definitely go back.

Ah, Trade. Formerly the Barker, this bar has been redone in a little bit darker style. Definitely a good place to see different flavors and meet like-minded folks of all different interests. I like to look at puppies, myself ;)

A great gay bar with a theme (leather, daddies, bears) but the great part is that all are welcome. The bartenders are social and friendly. They have a variety of events every week.

Trade is my favorite gay bar. Randy is the best bartender I have ever met. I really enjoy Trade and love the patio.

Its a great space, hot bartenders, and nice look. Just takes a really long time to get drinks when its busy. I prefer this as a great place to relax and drink earlier in the day.

I HATE the whole wait in a line to get a drink thing. Its a bar. Youre supposed to just walk up to the bar. The bartenders should discourage people from queuing up.Thankfully, they got rid of the carpeted floor ;)The patio is cute. and tacos!

Walked up to the bar and tried to order two martinis with the pickle infused vodka they had.Was told that they were too busy to make martinis. Obviously they must be too busy to make money.

A great bar with a diverse crowd! The patio is nice and they have water misters for when it is very hot out.There also is parking available, though street parking is also an option.

Dont think they are not going for the dive bar setting with all the HomeDepot DIY improvements.From the as seen on TV Star Motion Laser Light Shower bouncing off the EzUp Canopies to the busted Pinyon Gas Fire pits.I think it needs a real refresh. With all that said, if your with a group it is a fun time.

Not an excellent bar, in my opinion. The venue is small and cramped without much room to explore. Neighborhood bar feel, if thats your scene. Nowhere near the ambience of the Eagle it replaced.
