The mountain and resort were beautiful and great. The customer service to rent and buy passes from was terrible however. They almost refused to help us, not sure if its because we were a small group of people that all spoke a different language or what. The girl at the counter judged us right from the go, telling me it was going to be expensive and if I knew how much it was going to cost?! When I never even brought up the price and was never a concern! After all that once she agreed to sell us passes, she pointed to computers to sign waivers at, which two out of four computers were not working and the fourth one was occupied. I asked for a manager to help since she was rude from the beginning, and he pretty much didnt try to help us at all, and didnt seem to be concerned about 2 computer being out of order. He suggested that they dont have Wi-Fi and I should have bought passes before heading to Copper Mountain. I just wanted to show some friends who were visiting from out of state around Colorado. We drove so long to get there and they almost refused to let us on the mountain, because we couldnt sign the waivers electronically and they didnt have wifi to use our phones! After being in their office for over an hour finally, I begged the only American guy in our group to go talk to them, and just like that we were taken care of. This is not the first time I have faced racism in this country. But this blew my mind how clearly obvious they were being about it. My friends are all nice educated people, working for places like Nasa. It was embarrassing for me as a Colorado Native to show them how racist my state is. And having to ask our American guest to get involved was absolutely unnecessary as I wanted to take care of them. NEVER EVER taking out of town guests here. If you speak a different language, pretend you dont until you are checked in.
Love this resort. I like to go early to get parking in the alpine lot. On the weekend traffic backs up from the exit onto the highway starting at 8:00-8:30. It is slow rolling funneling into the parking lots. So either get there early or expect traffic to be backed up. Weekdays it’s fine. You can walk from the alpine lot to the super bee lift or you can take shuttle bus. The shuttles go all around the village. If you are looking for more mellow runs you can get there by the shuttle or ride over from the top of super bee. There is a paid parking lot very close to the super bee lift that is less of a walk. On a pow day I like to lap resolution bowl just because I hate riding the t bar to access the higher terrain. JJ’s bar at the base is a solid place to stop and grab bar food. Although they got rid of the best nachos that have been on the menu for the pay couple years. They should definitely bring that back. I don’t know what they were thinking taking them off the menu.
Had a great day on Copper and its a great mountain with excellent terrain. The weekends have become intolerable for me though. Absurd lift lines and insanely crowded everywhere. I highly recommend a weekday or buying a day pass with fast tracks (upgrade onsite if needed) so you can get some runs in rather than standing in lines all day everywhere.
Copper mountain has a great layout of villages around it. There are many options of food and drinks. They are not over priced like most Vail resorts. The bus that runs often between villages and the free parking lot is very convenient. Terrain has many choices. But lack of features if you are into big mountain stuff. Definitely will go back again.
I love Copper! A beautiful mountain with a diverse amount of terrain. Lifts and gondola in good condition. Lots of good places to nosh between runs or develop some liquid courage. I do wish that there has been more signage to go to west village for the easy runs. The greens at center were fairly challenging for me and I fell alot. But overall I had a great time. Tubing is so much fun as well! Would recommend
As a skier I very much enjoy this place. I don’t know how snowboarding is but most of the time there are plenty of slopes for all levels. West side for beginners, center for intermediate or advanced, East for intermediate and advanced. If you want some fun stuff, I’d recommend Spaulding bowl at the top of Storm King or the new routes over at Tucker mountain. Fair warning: Tucker mountain is only extreme terrain and you must be good at skiing/snowboarding to do those routes safely, as nothing is marked.
Crystal Mountain exceeded my expectations. The green runs that they have at the mountain our fun wide open and over 2 miles long. The blue and black runs are interesting and also well groomed. Despite not having fresh snow this past weekend our group still had a great time. Even though Copper isn’t one of the most well-known mountains in CO I would definitely return.
I really liked this place. Excellent service, nice staff and well maintained ski trails and overall process. The only recommendation to the operator is to establish some rules of behavior and penalties for those who have hard times reading *Slow* signs and run at full pace and cause injuries to others. 50 mph speed is no different from driving s car so some rules are warranted and violations must be punished with fines maybe.
From last March. Love Copper. Been going there off and on since the late 90s. We typically get the Epic pass but last season we got both Epic (Local) and Ikon (Base). Great to take the girls to explore some old haunts and some ones that are new enough that I hadnt been there. Made a tour of the mountain as it was a spring ski day with no new snow.Several years ago when we lived in CA, my daughter and I would come out for her ski week break from school. It was a year that we got the Ikon. Came to Copper with a friend and my daughter. Unfortunately my daughter had picked up an ear infection before the trip and was still in recovery mode. Friend watched my daughter for a bit at the lodge while I did a few runs as it was just dumping snow. Ran into a local who showed me some of his secret stashes. It was magical. So magical that sometimes I wonder if I dreamed it.Great memories here. Hope to make many more in the future.
Great mountain. Spent three days on Copper which is almost enough to take in the whole mountain. I suggest spending at least 4 days and getting yourself lost in the trees or bowls. Only complaint would be some of the lifts were a little older, I’m scared of heights so it freaked me out. Otherwise one of the best mountains I’ve been to in Colorado...shred it!
This place has nice facilities and a lot of terrain to check out. Best to be in good shape if you want the whole experience:) the only thing that I don’t like are how high all the prices are. I imagine when Vale resorts owns this place it will lose a lot of customers. With inflation so bad and places like this taking advantage of consumers it’s not at all like it used to be.
We had our dream winter wedding here, and it was perfect! We had it at Copper Station in East Village and it was an incredible night! The staff was so easy to work with and friendly. The food was perfection and the drinks were delicious. We stayed for a week and enjoy snowboarding, tubing and went down to road to do some snowmobiling. Couldn’t have asked for anything more.
Well not to brag but I was blessed to be at copper during one of the largest snowfalls in their history, but I’ll try not to be biased. It was amazing! Staff = A+, trails = A +, tucker mountain lift access A+, Powder for days A+. We had so much fun during the Dew Tour as well. Highly recommended 17th glade if your feeling spicy. Send it bruh.
Loved it, alot of winter activities have to offer for kids and adults together. Kids loved the huge tubing slide and the ice maze. A few of the shops and restaurants stay open late and the area is beautiful for a late night stroll with the family. Also, 12000+ feet in elevation, so may be a bit out of breath doing things you regularly do with ease.
While fun, this is a very expensive experience for tubing about 80 a person for an hour. The resort itself is huge, and its easy to get turned around 😅 Also the free parking is confusing to find the lot, the entrance is actually outside of the resort entrance, just to the East of the entrance at the light. The black route takes you to the East Village for tubing and a free ice maze and the shuttles are free.
One of my most favorite places to ski in Colorado. Christmas Eve Torch light parade and fireworks were great. It was easy to get around on shuttles. Not much close-in parking unless you stay in the villages. Condos seem to be dated (could use a refresh). Seems to be expensive but probably competitively priced.
Love Copper. Great mountain, great skiing. Stayed at Copper One....ski in, ski out. Walk to all restaurants in Center Village. Just wonderful!
To start.. the mountain and slopes were absolutely beautiful! They have a nice slope for beginners as well. However, The restaurant was a 4/10... no option to dine in. You have to sit outside. I ordered a “hot” drink that came luke warm.... and then the food came out and was cold in 2 min due to the weather.. and it was $20 a plate.
Kiddo had her first lesson yesterday. She is 4 and Copper by far had the best package for learning. We were very impressed with instructors and their attention to the kids. It was amazing how much progress she made! I would highly recommend them for kids Lessons. We were in the newer West village/union village.
Great place so far. Only complaint I have is on getting checked in. IDK if this is an issue with the site I booked from or what but it was a nightmare getting checked in and figuring out where to go. No one really had a straight answer on where to go, had to find out where to go from another resort/hotel place.
I Love Copper but its such a bummer that the only option for food in East Village is JJs restaurant. What happened to the upstairs food court? Why is it closed?
We recently attended a wedding and reception on the Copper Mountain Ski Area grounds and facilities and it was a wonderful experience! The staff worked very hard to make sure all was as good as it could be, and that is the most we could ask. A stunning location, an attentive staff, and a wedding to be thankful for...
This is an awesome ski resorte. Long lifts which are great cause you can get nice long runs in.
East village is a lot like Marry Jane. Some of the blacks have difficult entries but are pretty regular on the way down.
Worst parking organization for leaving Alpine lot. There is one exit. There are no traffic directors. Any backups result in multiple hours sitting in the parking lot unable to leave.
Tubing was great today! Great staff on the mountain. Will visit the mountain again.
Runs were great, first time on the.slopes was great, lots of varietyOver all a first.class experience
Copper Mt is just the right size, not too big and not too small. Great places to eat
Copper has always been a great place and appreciate that free parking is still an option. The lower runs tend to get hardpacked and icy very quickly. Lots of fun places to go on the mountain though. Weekend crowds are a disadvantage as with most front range resorts.
I wish they would open at 8:30 a.m. for the public, but I always have a fun time there. Copper is one of my favorite ski resorts.
I had the best day of skiing at Cooper mountain today and its been more than 30 years since my last time I went skiing lots of runs were open and it was not crowded as usual, the price of lift ticket is outrageous and everything else as well but its the nature of the business and the economy. Overall I had a great time there.
Great free shuttle bus from Alpine Lot on the east side of the resort. Always eat my lunch at Solitude Station, they allow brown baggers. Free microwave, condiments, water and cups. Friendly lift operators. Been going here since 1980. Love buying the 5 day pass.
Had an amazing time at Copper Mountain. Weather was perfect, not a cloud in the sky.
Great ski resort, nice runs, and good village atmosphere.
Close enough to Alpine lot to walk if you want. I took the bus. Best place to go to access expert terrain and avoid the family crowds around the American lifts. Easy access to Copper and Spaulding bowls.
Quaint village and plenty of great terrain to get your mountain fix on a board or skis.
❄️ Wow copper is unlike any other resort! Amazing lifts, long beautiful runs and staff is pretty awesome. Definitely a resort for a more skilled snowboarder or skier as the runs seem steeper than some other resorts. Unfortunately we had to have an interaction with the Ski patrol but they were amazing. Super caring, very professional and overall a good experience for a bad accident. Definitely plan to return! ❄️ 🏂
We had a toddler and a recent back surgery in our group so we were unable to ski. However the tuning was a lot of fun. The lift area was beautiful and less crowded than Breck on the afternoon we visited.
Beautiful place in the mountains to enjoy some snow fun in the winter. Big sized mountain with a small mountain vibe. A Golf course for some fun in the summer. Quaint little village with plenty of cool shops and some great restaurants as well
Copper Mountain, why have you changed for the worse?!I grew up skiing at Copper and eating lunch at the base of Super Bee (Copper Station). We loved the food food options and smaller crowds. Over the past few years, their food offerings at the cafeteria here have dwindled and this year they are closed entirely in lieu of a counter-order “BBQ” restaurant. It took 15 minutes to get a batch of fries delivered to our table, instead of being able to pick them up at the grill like any normal mountain restaurant. The food was good, but not worth the wait. Additionally, the water dispenser was removed this year from the second floor seating area and replaced with a refillable urn, which was always empty. We won’t be stopping here anymore.
Get the Copper card for a reason. Were here now for 3 days of skiing. Best runs!
Anytime the resort is 100% open, and the expert terrain is open... OH YEAH!I didnt get a pass this season, however, Thursdays $99 lift tickets, didnt break the bank for a single day.Keep an eye open for snow conditions, and plan accordingly.
OH MY GOD. What an incredible place. Not only is this place super easy to access from I-70, but it’s also incredibly beautiful. We went snow tubing and we cannot wait to come back. Truly, the best experience and it’s very family friendly. Also, cannot thank the staff enough. They truly made the experience. So friendly & kind & super interactive with the guests. So amazing!
Copper is my favorite mountain in Colorado. The runs are long, and the groomed terrain is delicious. Three villages: West has beginner terrain, Center is more intermediate, and East is advanced. The best is its easy to get between them on the mountain. Food options in all 3 villages, but the most variety is in Center Village. Very family friendly.
Great mountain and great terrain. That said, the staff are less than friendly. More importantly, there doesn’t appear to be the focus on safe skiing behavior that other resorts have. There are few if any skier safety signs or messages anywhere at the resort. In fact, there was a sticker boldly left on lift infrastructure that said “turning is for wimps.”
My husband took his first skiing lesson here and he loved it. The instructors were very nice and patient. They have a great shuttle that takes you around to the various areas, and it runs regularly. I parked in the free Alpine parking lot and a shuttle bus was there and ready to take me directly to the West Village. As soon as I got off the shuttle bus there were people waiting to help me and direct me to where I wanted to go, and answer all of my questions. The customer service was excellent. The staff there throughout the resort kept asking me if I was having a good time, and answered any questions I had. We also went tubing, and it was great fun. We would return.
Beautiful, fun, lively resort. Not as crowded as some of the more main stream resorts which is a bonus to me. Runs felt kind of short and the bus system to free parking is a bit confusing but it gets the job done. Would recommend but not with a lot of enthusiasm
Less crowdedv with fewer dining options than center village although be warned that the closest lift doesnt serve green/easy slopes. The six person, high speed lift gets you to the top quickly. We really liked the setup here.
Tons of runs to try out. It would be hard to do all of the runs even on a 4 day trip. The tree runs and extreme terrain double blacks are incredible. The multiple terrain parks allows for beginner through advanced riding for all skill levels. The lift lines at the tougher terrain and bowls are always quite short and easy to ski right on but the main 6 person lifts near the lodges back up pretty bad on the weekends and you might be waiting a while to get on. I would recommend using the smaller lifts on the outskirts since you’ll be riding more during the day if you use those.
Very nice staff, well organized, nice slopes.Minor problems with the computerized passes.
Ive skied here for multiple days in a row twice now. I love the care that the Copper Mountain team puts into managing their trails and lifts. The staff is generally very, very nice and professional. My refresher lesson with instructor Donnie M was outstanding. Copper is a great place to accommodate a wide range of skiing skills. Based upon this part of the experience, 5 stars are warranted. However, the intensity of Coppers mask enforcement - in light of the fact that you are outside and naturally socially distant 98% of the time - made for a needlessly negative vibe. I felt like I was under constant surveillance when not actively skiing down the mountain. I got scolded frequently while not within 10 feet of anyone outside of my family... While I totally respect reasonable health and safety precautions (yes, I always happily wear a mask in public, confined spaces!), Coppers standards were simply unreasonable if not down right offensive. This part of the experience should earn them minus 2 stars. But, Im going to award them a pandemic-outlier pass and arrive at a 4 star weighted average -- since were all trying to do what we think is right these days.
I love Copper Mountain. Excellent, regular ski bus service from free parking. The terrain here is naturally separated into steep ( East Village & Back bowls) Blues to centre village and easy terrain in the West Village, Union Creek. A great vibe in centre village and a good selection of food options; including a Rocky Mountain Chocolate Shop for a yummy ice cream or chocolate treat.
The only downside to Copper Mountain is the lack of parking near ski lift access. Most times parking is over a mile away and it takes two shuttle buses to whisk you to any accessible terrain.
I come to CO. every year and Copper is my standard gotta do every time I visit. I cant not come here. It checks all the important boxes-affordable, wide variety in runs and difficulty, its not so high in elevation that one gets gassed early. Not only is Copper multi faceted and versatile but the convenient variety in shopping and dining of a relief to those who need to grab some last min gear or grub
I love this place. Ski there about 3 weekends a season. Ikon pass helps. I have been skiing here since you got a Jolly Rancher with your lift ticket, in the late 70s.
I really like Copper Mountain. It has more of a local feel compared to the other big resorts. The Mountain has a lot of good groomed blues. East side has most of my favorite runs and only a 7 minute walk to free parking lot.
Super Bee is a great lift. Lines are never as lengthy here as they are in other villages, and it has some of the best runs! JJs is a nice restaurant, highly suggest their burgers, absolutely amazing! :D and DO NOT forget to go tubbing! Had such a blast with my friends when we went. Totally worth it
Great place to hang out after a day of skiing.
They closed Alpine parking and shuttle service after extending the season. Parking was then stretched but they let people park in the 15min spots all day for free. I thought that was cool.
Its a great place for ski
Spring time super bee laps are the best!!
A great family ski resort and well organized. JJs Restaurant in East Village has the best syaff!
Such a great place. For all ages! Went there for the dew tour and had a blast. And the snow its perfect! Plan in coming here every year
Eats village was very crowded, but luckily the tubing hill is by reservation and only allows so many people at each hour. We had a blast celebrating a bachelorette party and loved that we could pretty much go down the hill any way we wanted to!
I have been to this resort 2 times and both times now the experience has been terrible. I will never waste my money or my time here.Honestly, its.not even the money that my family spent here. The tubing is fun but employees are a joke. Also, it took us 20 minutes to find the tubing area once getting in the resort area. No signage, no map, nothing. Stood in line at guest services just to waste another 10 minutes. So here we are 30 minutes into our 1 hour tubing time just for the tubing employees to cut us off after 20 minutes of tubing? My family and I were told We have to cut the line off somewhere. Seriously?Save yourself and go to Breckenridge or even Echo Mountain. Both were much better this year. Can I give zero stars???
East Villages upper dining hall is a great place to relax and warm up. Spacious eating hall, and good prices for coffee and hot chocolate! Good prices on a generous basket of French Fries, and plenty of BBQ choices.
The east side has great advanced expert skiing and one of my favorite places to ski in Colorado. Make sure you go to the very top and get some bowl skiing in.
Fantastic skiing. The copper bowl a d terrain from the three bears lift are a fun challenge for more advanced skiers but there is terrain for all levels. It does get quite crowded on the weekends at the base.
Ive been boarding before and loved it, but tubing was a new adventure for me on this mountain and it was definitely a fun adventure! Definitely a solid time. Pricey for time versus cost, but Id go again
Copper mountain is a great ski area. Center village has the best food trucks and area to relax with friends and family for lunch. If you’re new to skiing, I highly recommend their ski school which has amazing instructors.
Super Bee 6-chair moves about 1 person a second, so that scary fat 15-deep, 4 rows wide lift line clears in 6 minutes. Tubing hill is overpriced, Frisco Adventure Park is a lot better and cheaper
Good amenities, parking is crazy expensive, but there is a free lot. All the ski runs are soft for the grade, but they have a super pipe.
Great place to go ride. A huge shout out to Glenn Croop for being amazing and helping us get situated and enjoy a fabulous powder day. He’s professional, kind, and personable. Thank you for making it a pleasant experience!
This is the second season my wife and I have been copper pass holders, and the second season we stayed in lodging at copper. The mountain itself has some of the best runs of any “resort” in Colorado, but the experience we had staying there was the complete opposite. Our second day there, my wife and I had just gotten out of the shower, and all of a sudden our room door opens, and it’s a cleaning lady with a personal luggage bag, and her young child. This was a shocking and embarrassing experience, especially for my wife. According to the room we were staying in, cleaning services will not enter your room for any reason, and anything needed has to be requested. According to the first manager I spoke with, Matt, it was common knowledge to him that the cleaning crews will leave their children in already cleaned rooms, and go to work. ANY room at Copper that has already been cleaned, very well may not be. This is concerning, especially in times like these. For compensation, the best they were willing to do was a dinner or let us leave without the penalty fees. I accepted the dinner. That night, my wife was still so upset about it we left early and went back to Denver. We called again, saying we didn’t think this compensation was fair, considering we no longer wanted to stay in our uncleaned room—or any other room considering it could be the same. Instead of dealing with the issue, they informed us that they are not a resort, and they have no control over the third party cleaning crew. When I asked to contact the cleaning company directly to try and get recourse or compensation, they told me they weren’t at liberty to give out that information, and that they would contact the company and have them reach out to us....I wasn’t born yesterday. It’s been weeks and I’m betting now that company will never call us, and Copper will continue to avoid any consequence or responsibility. I would have came back here year after year, but this experience means I will never return, and I will try to continue to inform others so they don’t make our mistake. Avoid this “resort”, it’s not worth all the additional fees for an unclean room and a front desk policy of diverting issues when something happens.
Great ski resort to ski on vacation. Expect longer lines and crowds. But the size of the mountain makes it worth going and skiing here. We always love the lodge at the top of the lift where we catch a quick break and get hot chocolate.
The terrain was great and the lines moved pretty fast. That said, strictest mask enforcement I have seen anywhere to date. Outdoors, blizzard conditions, no one within 12ft, constantly asking people to pull the mask up over the their nose. Keep in mind the altitude makes it harder to breath as is. Went to Arapahoe Basin the next day and didn’t witness this happen a single time. Much friendlier environment in my opinion.
We went Tubing and I honestly didnt know if the cost was worth it. We only managed 4 runs in the hour. But yes, it was worth it! We had so much fun on those 4 runs! Id do it again.
Purchased a 6-pass and was only able to use 4 days before they closed for COVID, instead of offering to roll the 2 days over or giving me an option for a refund they just cancelled the rest of the pass. And then on top of that the manager of the ticket office was extremely rude. Will not be skiing at Copper Mountain anymore
Had a blast here. Snow was great, runs were great, access was easy. People and staff were friendly, lines were short. My young kiddos loved it
The changes to the cafeteria upstairs make lunch a much worse experience. You have to wait in line to order, you can’t get hot water for soup, there is no silverware available. I rarely give one star and this is it.
Tubing and customer service review only. Not overly impressed. Least favorite of 3 tubing areas we visited. Plus I bought tix to their coaster which according to website runs in winter. But according to guest service agent has been closed for quite some time. She was surprised I was able to buy tix 2 days prior. But yet she offered no refund. Kinda like good luck. So not impressed in the least and I will not go back.
I fell a lot and my friend got a parking ticket. Friendly staff and good bus service, would recommend.
Great place to ski, everything was well maintained. There was a fairly long wait to purchase lift tickets...Thats my only complaint.
The staff, terrain, and lifts were all great. The the mountain lacks courtesy and little regard for safety. My kids complained about being cut off almost every run on greens. Riders would routinely chose a tight line between the trees and people stopped on the side of a run in order to do tricks, on greens. People would not clear out of the way at the end of runs and would block the lift lines while waiting. We most likely wont go back due to safety and traffic.
Its fine. Sledding is good: quite expensive for what it is. In 1 hour gets about 6 runs. There are fair food options, nothing great
Just a fantastic place to visit! Beautiful village with condos close buy. Great food, shopping, and slope side skiing. Very hip. Really cool place to ski.
I could fade it a star and just give it four because theres an interstate nearby but the terrain is too good and its just easier to get in and out of than Breckenridge or Vail. The West village is family oriented. The food and dining options are nothing to write home about but Im really here to write Mountain and facilities, not the restaurants. Parking and lift tix getting a little expensive now though
Copper Mountain is a first rate ski resort in the mountains of Colorado, separated into three villages (west for beginners/easy), center for intermediate skiers) and east for more advanced skiers. You can pay for parking if you want but what really sets Copper Mountain apart from the others is ample free parking with free shuttle bus service to the slopes. The villages offer all of the services you would need, including restaurants. The food is generally good - some very good and others, not so much (but make sure you check out the baked potato bar at the center village chalet, the best bargain in town, and really quite good. The ski runs lean toward the beginner or intermediate skier but anyone can find what they are looking for. Some of the green and blue runs get groomed at night but not all and in spite a posted schedule for grooming, even during the day, grooming seems very hit and miss. Its very rare to see any grooming being done during the day, although very much needed. There are several 6 and 4 person chairlifts which get you to the top in short order. In fact, they replaced one of their aging 6 person lifts this past summer with a European-style lift, complete with wind screens but it still has plenty of kinks to work out (it stalls multiple times a day for 2-10 minutes each time). Ugh!There are times when Copper seems too big (it is a rather large complex)! It seems that sometimes the different functions dont work well together. For example on one recent visit to the resort, our shuttle bus from the parking area waited at least 10 minutes (maybe longer) for one of the front loaders, moving snow from one of the large piles at the side of the roadway, to get out of the way. This was at 9:00 am when skiers were anxious to get on the slopes. It wasnt just one bus waiting for him, but 3-4 buses! Not that moving snow isnt an important task for a ski resort, but at 9 AM, keeping paying customers from the slopes? Really? The front-loader operator was completely clueless or at least his supervisor was. But most of the time, the resort does a very good job, sometimes even a great job, of serving their clientele. If youre looking for a family-oriented place to spend a few days skiing (or even one day!), Copper Mountain would be a good place to start. And they offer online discounts for tow tickets that are some of the best, if not the best values youll find.
Had an amazing experience. Loved the scenery. Great place not just to ski but also good for snow tubing. Very fun.
Cancelled my reservation due to Covid reasons and called ahead of time with 96 hours before our reservation and they gave back 90%, the other 10% was kept as for cancelation fee. So buyer be aware, I couldnt find any cancelation policy on their website. I guess 90% is better than nothing.
Lot of fun with the family....went to the tubing hill...can about 7 to 9 runs in an hr..fyi... restaurant right next to hills so super convenient
Awesome and we had extended season
Love Copper but very disappointed in their lack of concern about COVID. They had 15 cases over Christmas wknd that an employee told us about. And summit County has the highest COVID rate in the country right now. They have signs about wearing masks on the busses that most people disregard, and the bus driver doesnt enforce. Some of the bus drivers dont even mention it. Many staff frequently have their masks down, and some of them dont even wear one, such as at the Whiskey bar.
Our first family vacation here in the snowy mountains and the experience we had here was amazing. We all had a blast and enjoyed the friendly staff. Would recommend to anyone.
Access to Super Bee lift, which is the east side of the mountain, so no beginner terrain that I can think of, tubing hill, and a few other activities are over there, JJs is great, you can sit down with the whole family or slip on and out for a bite
This place is legit. We went for the tubing which was a lot of fun of a little pricey but I have to go back to explore the mountain which looks absolutely massive. The ice maze was really cool too.
Absolutely favorite place to ski in Colorado, amazing slopes and resort. I used to go to Breckenridge but the long lines and the price was getting out of control. Copper is the perfect solution!
Good amount of terrain still open.
The resort is very clean and looks new. The runs are groomed well and marked. The staff on the slopes are helpful. I would love to go back!
Beautiful!!! The food here was better than most restaurants.
Very good terrain, lots of steeps for advanced skiers as well as plenty of easy and moderate. Good prices for food (compared to other resorts).
Tubing was so fun! The maze was super cool; definitely more thrilling for those 10 and under though. :)
Signage indicating that the ski in and out to the nearby rentals was hampered by snow melt would have eased the commute. Also the water was turned off at 833 in the morning for repairs at the rental which caused much frustration.
The snow tubing was a lot of fun and the employees were very friendly. We had a great time
Copper is OK - nothing to write home about. The worker bees are extremely nice, the management... a bit less than average on their very best day.
I have explored many ski resorts, especially in Colorado and Copper Mountain is my favorite. As a snowboarder for the past 25 years it is important to have expert terrain available. Copper has plenty of diverse black and double black diamond terrain including a beautifully manicured halfpipe and well designed terrain parks. As a father to a new snowboarder it is also important to have lots of beginner terrain with wide runs and Copper has also done a superb job of designing that area. Their slopes are designed to be gradually harder from the beginner slopes on the West to the expert terrain in the East. The village area is also very well designed to comforaatnle and close to the lifts while offering every amenity I could desire to have within walking distance. Condo rental sites like airbnb or vrbo offer great deals on nightly rentals right in the middle of all that Copper has to offer.
A great place for beginners and experts! One of my favorite places to ski. Great for boarders too.
Rooms are a little run down. They definitely see a lot of use. Lots to do on site and central to a lot of great hiking/ biking in the summer
Parking is by reservation and yet you have to hunt for a parking spot. You would think Copper Mountain would know the approx size of their parking lots. I dunno, possibly have people direct parking as well. You had so many options, but somehow landed on this one.
The Intermediate to Advanced end of Copper. Many food options in one location. Store for forgotten items or looking for some new gear. Tubing hill.
East Village is wonderful, but definitely expect the slopes in East are the steeper, more advanced terrain offered on the front faces at Copper Mountain.
Good skiing and plenty of amenities. Obviously the food options could be better and cheaper but I do like snowboarding here the few times Ive been so far.
If you are looking for tree runs, park runs and powder runs this is the place to be. Take advantage of the fast tracks! This was like a little piece of Utah in Colorado
Love East Village; short lift lines, clean bathrooms, decent sit down bar downstairs (a little pricey), cafeteria upstairs with lots of options. The staff were all super nice!
Took muggins (who had never been skiing before) here on an icy spring day. no lessons. just pushed her down a run at union station. she didnt fare too well. i recommend lessons. still, 5 stars-- yer skiin, ya know!
Shuttle service Is so poorThey should copy steamboat
They handle the crowds like a boss. 1st time and highly impressed by the terrain. I love that resort.
We were on vacation and decided to snow tube...Tyler Volcik, Ben and Spencer were super helpful. They helped us get situated on our tubes and helped us take great pictures! Thanks guys!!! See ya later.
This is where we try to park. Easy walk or bus ride from the lot. Copper is just a great friendly place for all abilities of skiing.
Got out ahead of traffic by spending the weekend. Hit two great bluebird days. Copper keeping up with the competition and running a great mtn even with less employees..
Best ski resort Ive been to. If prices are not of concern, this is one of the most extensive and beautiful resorts to ski in. Great variety in difficulty and scenery.
What’s not to like about every Copper Village??!! Outdoor activities galore with peace and tranquillity. A short walk to either of the other villages.
One of my favorite places to ski in Colorado. Usually Im crowded with plenty of spaces to get away from most folks. Lots of good bumps and tree skiing.
This Ski Resort is a fraud. Keeping hard working families money once they closed down the mountain. If you want your money back contact BBB and an attorney.
$200 Per day lift ticket. As far as I can tell, they dont disclose prices online. Got lost finding the free parking. Got yelled at by an employee.
We have grown up at Copper for the last 8 years. It is amazing and has the best staff.
