This is a horrible business, lacking in professionalism and compliance with state laws. They do not allow you to give notice of your intent to cancel your membership after the membership has run its term, at which point the front desk may or may not give you the appropriate forms in a timely manner to cancel your term. I am confident that they will not do so, and we will be in a fight in a few months when they bill me for membership renewal I do not want. It makes no sense to me why you can’t provide a cancellation form now to cancel by the end of this term instead of making me wait until the end, but I suppose that’s how you stay in business. It is sad for the people working here to have to under such a horribly run franchise, although the front desk seems to relish in the opportunity to take advantage of people.
Avoid becoming a member. You pay every month but may not be able to get a massage every month. I have racked up quite a big credit there but found it difficult to make appointments. I asked for a standing every first Sunday of the month at 1 pm, they can’t do that. They make it incredibly difficult to cancel. I emailed the clinic in November to cancel. Took them some time to respond. They asked why. Took another week to let have them tell me I needed to fill out a specific cancellation form. Mailed it in the U.S. Mail November 15th. I was charged in December but I was expecting that as they said it would take 10 days to cancel. I got charged again in January?! I called yesterday and they said I had to email to forms and they never received my mail. How bad are the workers, they don’t know how to process mail. The massages were great but the Membership is a scam. You will save tons of money by just paying for each massage rather than a constant charge and you may never get an appointment.
Really regret getting a membership here. It is impossible to schedule appointments in the app and there is limited availability. When I emailed notice to cancel my membership after the initial term, the front desk ignored my three emails requesting confirmation that my membership would not renew. Overall poorly managed and not professionally operated. This location is also very poorly staffed. There are five providers total, two female and three male. Good luck trying to book an appointment with the membership they keep you trapped in.And the front desk girls are condescending and rude.
The massage I received was satisfactory but the place made for a less than satisfactory overall experience. The room was dirty, oily fingerprints all over the walls. The carpet smelled and looked wet and dirty and was the overall smell of the room throughout the duration of the service. When I left I had to use the microfiber sheet to wipe the excessive oil off my body. I think there was so much oil that my clothing will be stained from having to put it on with all the oil. For the price, I will not return due to general lack of attention to the overall therapeutic experience that getting a massage should be.
Non stop problems with this location, every single time we book an appointment. Tomorrow we had a message and they sent us an auto email saying it was canceled, no call from them, just canceled via email. Constantly calling in to update things that they mess up it never fails and is so frustrating. This review is for the edgewater location
I received a gift certificate for a massage and honestly wasnt expecting much, but I was proved wrong today. Tina is an incredible massage therapist who paid attention to the areas I asked her to and avoided those I requested as well. As a bonus, she took my lead and wasnt chatty during the massage which I truly appreciate.I asked for deep tissue thinking maybe Id get kind a firm pressure, but boy did I get what I asked for. She has expert hands and really got in there. I felt like a sentient noodle on my way out. While I was there I got a facial from Jaylin. I often avoid facials as my skin is extremely sensitive. I expressed that and she told me shed keep it simple and she delivered. My skin is glowing and so soft!Because I read a few reviews prior to going and the membership seems to be a major sticking point for most, I refused. I would come back for those to practitioners, though, as well as the very kind humans working the front.
Tim was absolutely amazing! This was my first massage and I couldn’t have asked for better. Thank you
AVOID AT ALL COSTS. An absolute scam run by individuals who have ZERO concept of customer service, empathy or accountability. I accrued more credits than I felt like I could use in a reasonable time so I wanted to cancel my monthly membership and use the credits I ALREADY PAID FOR. Surprise... they dont allow that! You have to continue paying every single month to be able to use the credits you paid for. Now Im going through the cancellation process and shocker of the year: they also make canceling difficult! They tell you it takes 10 days (!!!!) to process a cancellation. But also, you cannot cancel if you have an outstanding monthly payment due. Such a racket, such a scam. Stay far away. Ive met 12 year olds who could provide better customer service and a more fair system. Notice how all their responses to the negative reviews are canned, copied and pasted, worthless drivel?? Bunch of 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
DO NOT GO HERE. I read the bad reviews and tried to like this place anyway, but they proved their incompetence. My massages were wonderful, which makes it worse that their employees and management are TERRIBLE. I used a gift card that was a gift with an anonymous amount, and on the first day there was told it had a balance of $250. The employee even wrote the amount right on the card. Later I was told it had a balance of $49.99, which I found an odd amount for a gift card. A MANAGER told me in person she would credit my account for $250 to honor what the first employee told me. The communication and organization was so bad over there that I had to spend 15 minutes explaining what happened to whichever employee was working each visit, which I found so stressful that it negated the entire massage. On my most recent visit, they flat out refused to honor their word and give me the remainder of my credit quoting, they had already done enough for me, and this time my card only had $9.99 on it! I had to walk away without my massage, and their wonderful massage therapist didnt get her client. Im also left wondering if Im getting shorted what my gift card had on it at one time. LUCKILY, because I had the gift card, I never put a real credit card on file, which they kept trying to get me to do every time. If this experience doesnt scare you away, you should also know that parking near here is AWFUL. It took me 25 minutes one day, which cut into my massage. Later they told me that I could have parked at orange theory and they would validate it, but that they didnt want people to know they do that. I also found that off-putting. Additionally, their rooms are not very warm, and I was cold during all my massages.
1. Poor front staff communication2. Prices different from website when you make appointments3. Will change your appointment and not notify you that it is changed and make you pay the same price.4.Not good with allergies, be careful and advocate for yourself.5. Best massage therapist Nick. This was a gift from my close friends doing the best they could after my father past this January. Please dont put your loved ones through what was supposed to help me feel better. I have never been to this franchise before and thought the process was traditional from one company to another. The staff up front ruined it for me. We had 3 separate conversations one, in person day of appointment, two over the phone before I even met my massage therapist all over a two month period. Their first available appointment from my initial phone call to book was two months out no big deal. I took it, ask for the therapists name for my record. I like to address people by their name. They called me later to change original appointment that therapist is not available ( I didnt know him anyway so it didnt matter to me) and tried to convince me to move to a facial or another less minute massage and just add a facial from original 90 min. Massage appointment made 6 weeks earlier. I had no issues to move therapists and requested the same 90 min. Massage scheduled as the first time. I was pressured as they tried to get me to schedule a facial I told them at this time I was only comfortable with a massage. I have allergies to products, with massage its easier using one ingredient. I asked them to look at note made at first appointment to see my allergies. Made no comment and stopped pushing the facial. Me, asking 3 times before second call end if I had a 90 min Massage scheduled. She assured me yes. They also did not give my therapist the note that I am allergic to coconut I found out when I arrived. Something we discussed both phone calls. He was standing there when I arrived and handled it professionally! Most of my confusion from the first phone call while scheduling was about price difference from the website to the store front phone call. We are talking like a $75 different or more. It was as if she didnt believe I had never been to the store or any location at the matter. It made me really uncomfortable to proceed that I was even going to get what I asked for. As I was in the facility filling out paperwork for my appointment a man walked in and had the same conversation I did at the first phone call about prices and website differences from in person. He also inquired why as I did 2 months ago on the phone. He left the store giving them no business unhappy with their answers. That is when I realized they do this with everyone in hopes they continue.⭐⭐⭐ All three stars go to Nick my massage therapist who did the best he could with what the reception left him with! He was great at massage handled my shock and upset from my appt change from 90 to 60min without notifying me until just when we were set to begin. I was confused about only receiving local area spots I was to pick out to work on because there was no time. We had to make due with the time left 30 min short. I hope he receives the $65 gratuity left for him. I had them take the rest of my gift certificate and give it to my therapist. They also quoted me the same introduction price for 90 to 60 minutes and could not understand why I was upset when I explained after the portion massage type I did receive. They told me to reschedule a 90 min would be $215 if I didnt decide to be on a annual package. I told them I do not like monthly deductions out of my account. They responded with we will notify you, totally not understanding what I was talking about. I even asked them to check the booking history of my calls and appointment changes they made as I felt totally cheated. That is when they lost me, I got the gift to avoid aggravation and relax. Nick you did great. Thanks.
This business is a scam and some of the most rude, threatening and verbally aggressive customer service staff I have ever experienced. I had and evening appointment scheduled and contracted food poisonings or the flu after lunch and have unexpected gastrointestinal issues that was not expected or foreseen. I called to reschedule and the front desk attendant was rude, would not let me speak and just kept speaking over me. her tone was aggressive and rude and she said you should have known better these things dont just appear, were charging your card and we dont reschedule. When I asked to speak to the manager, she kept talking over me and yelling, and gave me one excuse after the next including that no manager existed, the manager does not accept calls, the manager wasnt there. When I asked for the manager name and email, she refused and would not let me speak, then hung up on me twice. I could not believe an adult could act that way in public as it was so mean and aggressive. Please save yourself the verbal abuse and go elsewhere. This place does not deserve to be in business.
I had an extremely unpleasant experience at Massage Envy Edgewater, which unfortunately marks the second time this has occurred. As a result, I requested the cancellation of my membership. When I initially signed up, I specifically inquired about being able to use my membership on the first day of each month, and I was assured that this would be possible. However, this information turned out to be inaccurate, as it was clearly stated in my membership paperwork when I was charged for my first service( I went near the first of the month). While this was the first time I encountered this issue, it has been frustrating to receive incorrect information from an employee.During my second visit, I was automatically rescheduled for a massage without my consent after I had informed them that I was unable to attend due to having contracted COVID-19. At the time, I didnt think much of it as I assumed that submitting the necessary paperwork would suffice for cancellation. However, it seems that these forms are not actually used for cancelations, but are ok to use for and rescheduling. I find it disappointing that I was rescheduled using the form and the no show but was deducted my credit. When I attempted to discuss these issues with the staff, one particular employee exhibited unprofessional behavior, yelling, interrupting, and speaking over me, despite not being directly involved in assisting me.Based on my experiences, I have no desire to recommend this particular location to anyone. The problems I have encountered seem to be ongoing, with an evident lack of satisfactory customer service. Furthermore, the unprofessional treatment I received, only adds to my dissatisfaction. Additionally, the excessive noise from the adjacent workout studio and foot traffic made it extremely challenging to relax during my sessions.I did infom the staff I would not pay for the session, proceeded to let the establishment, and put an immediate stop payment on my card.
Just as most reviews already say, avoid this place at all costs possible. You can count on your appointments being cancelled the day before, no options to reschedule, and terrible customer service.
Tina gives an amazing massage! This is my second session with her and she’s consistently strong, creates balance on both sides, and is able to accommodate all pressures.
Just like everyone else complaining about the management here. Truly felt like mean girls on the phone while trying to explain my situation to her. I called another massage envy and had a very nice conversation with the girl in cheery creek but unfortunately could not do much since it’s a different location. Speaking to this manager she was nasty, disrespectful, and was not about customer help. After countless bad reviews you think cooperate would take action. Not only did she refuse my service she told me I could never come back to her location after trying to resolve the issue over the phone. She started gaslighting me telling me to stop yelling when I was not yelling calm but trying to figure out a resolution. This location needs serious help and on top of it stole my money and refuses to even pick up the phone for my number. I called back and she cancled my apppontment and gave me zero credits after a personal emergency.
My kids gave me a massage to say thank you for helping with the 2 year old. Good lord knows after 2 weeks of wedding stuff, gam was worn out! It was a nice gesture but they didnt cross the ts and dot the is. What could have been a very disappointing day turned into be not only one of the best massages Ive ever had, but without a doubt, some FANTASTIC customer service. Denver is not known for good customer service, but I believe the young lady who took care of everything is Holly. Maybe Molly and im sorry if I messed that up. She called for the credit, made the arrangements and she did all this while I was getting my much needed massage. She did not make a fuss about doing this. She could have sent me home or made get a hold of the newly weds...but she jumped in an sent me in for my massage.Thank you for your very good and kind service. Now, Issac was my massage therapist. The first thing he noticed is that the info he was looking at didnt match me. Im neither young or a man. He explained why he needed afew facts about my health...such an astute therapist. I was already impressed. But then....oh lawdy...His hands are gold. Because I travel all over the world, one thing I try to do is get massages everywhere I go. Issac is a magician...Im sorry he doesnt live in Alabama. Thank you again for making my travel day a great day. I will come back the next time in town. Absolutely fabulous!
I’m new to the area and found an amazing massage therapist at this location. Brandon Hines was phenomenal here. Now he’s at the Westminster location and appointments are already booked up. I’m unable to schedule with Brandon and they’re forcing me to choose a therapist at this location. This is poor management at its finest.
This location along with other ME locations have stolen $$ from myself and other customers over the years. I would avoid at all costs the manager at this location is completely incompetent as well. Long time members like myself cant even get an appointment scheduled since they block out appointments for new members instead of us veterans. How is that manager still there after months of issues identified by myself and other reviewers? Someone at ME Corporate needs to take a closer look versus ripping off loyal long time customers!
I’m so happy I didn’t take in consideration all these negative reviews I saw on here cuz I wasn’t disappointed. I came with zero expectations as it should be when you’re trying a new spot and new person/esthetician/masseuse. I had a regular facial today. The girls at the front desk are super sweet and welcoming, Cinthia ( apologies if I misspelled it) was the one who did my facial and was amazing. She let me know every step she took and while waiting for certain products to stay on the skin she gave a very relaxing neck shoulder and arms massage. Very unexpected as they’re not obligated to do so. Thank you so much
I was looking for more information on the membership and came into this location after lunch at the marketplace. Cherise was very helpful and helped me understand the whole membership deal. Sending my wife and son here to get massages. 👍🏼
So glad I didn’t listen too these negative reviews! The girls at the front were so nice and were able to help me get a gift card with ease! Will come back to this location in the future.
Went for my massage. ALL customer hand sanitizers pumps were empty and hand soap in the women’s bathroom was also empty. I informed one of the employees. Not saying much for such an important time for us to be protecting ourselves. I won’t be going back to this location. Front staff was rude as well
The therapist started the massage by complaining about her abusive boyfriend And how horrible his probation officer was.. then proceeded to tell me about her own run ins with the law!!!She then kept talking through out the massage telling me how tense I was which only made me tense up more. I could not relax at all. The entire experience was very uncomfortable. She used her forearm or elbow most of the time. Overall, I could tell she was very inexperienced. Furthermore, the room had a weird odor to it like a basement as the therapist had no essential oils. This is the first time I have ever had a negative massage experiance and i usually get one twice a year. i will not be going back and do not recommend. The one plus was that the front desk staff was very polite and helpful.
I absolutely do not recommend booking a massage here! The first time I called, the receptionist confirmed my appointment for the day I requested with two female masseuses, because that’s a very important thing for me. She called back two hours later and told me the time slot had been booked online and she couldn’t override it. That’s ridiculous because she should have put the appointment in right when I called. She offered me an appointment for the next day which was completely inconvenient because obviously when you’re visiting somewhere you have already made plans. Reluctantly I accepted the appointment and confirmed once again that there would be two female masseuses available. We showed up 45 minutes early, waited the entire time and then two male masseuses greet us to take us back to the room. The manager stated they had no other therapists available and offered points for an enhancement to a massage that we could book some other time. That’s absolutely ridiculous that we went through all of this with them and that’s all they offered. I will be contacting corporate tomorrow to get this resolved. Do not waste your time booking at Massage Envy!!
I went into Massage Envy back in 2018 when I moved to Denver. This has honestly been the most horrible business experience and if anything, it has added SO MUCH STRESS and anxiety to my life. When I signed up I worked with Brandy. I told her my finances were tight so I wanted to make sure I understood all of the terms and conditions and costs, since I was budgeting for the expense. So, I took the time to be sure I knew what I was getting into. Everything was great. Signed up. Booked my first massage. I specifically said, SO THIS WILL COUNT AS MY FIRST MASSAGE IN MY 6 MONTH MEMBERSHIP? And she said yes. I come in for my first massage, have it, go to check out and the girl at the front desk says I owe $55. I said, on top of the $65 monthly membership I pay? She said yes. It was all downhill from here. I told her I SPECIFICALLY asked Brandy if this was my first massage of my membership and she said it was. If it was before my membership started, then Brandy should have said, Come in on this date, but know itll be $55 but it felt like she intentionally left that out, as again I specifically ASKED in an effort to avoid any additional charges. She ended up not charging me. I continue to have my next 4 massages. I make sure to call months before my membership ends to cancel it as I do NOT want to ever come back to Massage Envy. Im coming on my last massage and this is where the nightmare really starts. I call to make my appointment. I say, I signed up for the 6 month membership, Im booking my last massage and as we were going through dates, we settle on a time I can do, again after having had that first experience with Brandy I SPECIFICALLY said MULTIPLE times, So this is my last massage, it will be my last $65 charge on this date, I am all set to go? and the girl at the front said YES, so I took the date thinking all was fine. I get the call to confirm my appointment, and I AGAIN make sure to SPECIFICALLY ASK, I had the 6 month membership... this is my last massage... I am coming in on this date... we are all good? The person on the phone confirms yet again, YES you are all set, this will be your last massage, the membership is cancelled and its your last charge of $65. Great. I go in, have my last massage, go to check out, and the girl at the desk says Im outside of my 6 month membership timeframe. As you can imagine I am absolutely FURIOUS as this happened on my first massage, and after all the effort I put in specifically making sure I was doing everything correctly for my last massage. She said shed leave a note, someone would call me, so I leave. No one ever calls me. Then as I go to pay my credit card I see a $95 charge that I NEVER AUTHORIZED AND NO ONE EVER CALLED TO SAY THEY WOULD END UP CHARGING ME. That is where I feel scammed. I called to talk to Brandy, explained to her everything (WHICH SHE AGREED WITH ME ON), said it mustve slipped through the cracks, that she completely understood my frustration and would refund me the $95. She said she put in that request, I gave her my mailing address, she said call us back in 7-10 days if its not there. THIS WAS THE END OF FEBRUARY AND IT NOW THE MIDDLE OF MAY. I have called Massage Envy at least 15 times, had to explain myself, apparently Brandy doesnt even work there anymore, and now the gentleman Ive been speaking to has been leading me on for MONTHS. Every time I call and talk to them, they said, let me check my email... it should be there in this many days... blah blah blah.... AND STILL NOTHING. $95 may not sound like a lot to some people but its a lot to me and this has been going on for almost 3 months and Ive been told MULTIPLE times... someone will call you back... ITS IN THE MAIL... all of this BS and none of it is true. NO ONE has called me back like theyve said and I still have yet to receive the refund which Brandy and the other gentleman Ive been in communication with have BOTH said to expect it in the mail in a week in 10 days by Friday.... AND NOTHING. Save yourself the trouble and dont go here.
I have been a massage envy member for years and when I moved to Denver I had a bad experience at Cherry Creek so I switched to edgewater and it’s been so awesome! Everyone from the manager and front desk to the team in the back has made my experience awesome. Really appreciative of how helpful everyone is!
Completely incompetent management. They got me to cancel my membership in San Marcos, CA and rejoin with them. They promised my credits would transfer with me. The turnover is awful and at one point the Manager told me they were not going to honor the credits they promised me because the person who promised me shouldn’t have. Talk about anything, BUT relaxing, which is what a massage membership should be. It took a year with dozens of calls to get it correct.
Ive been to Massage Envys across the country and unfortunately, this location may have been the worst experience by far. I was informed prior to my appointment that my therapist had over 6 years experience, but it felt like I was his very first massage...Ever. I got up after 20 minutes into a 50 min. session. And I wish the girls at the front desk were more empathetic about the situation, but they also had no experience and no clue why I was checking out after just 20 min. They just didnt care. Overall, better management is needed...
Stay far away from this place! They will lock you into a 12 month contract and you will be unable to book a massage for months. When you try to talk with the front desk about the problem, you will be treated rudely and youre problem will go unanswered. Simply put, they will charge you for a service that they cannot provide.
I was a loyal patron with a recurring monthly membership for 2 years and have decided Massage Envy Lodo no longer deserves my business. I dont know if they are under new management or if they rolled out company wide policy changes, but the last 3 times I have come in, Ive been straddled with miscellaneous charges that werent communicated to me at the time I scheduled my appointments. To add to that, when I questioned the staff about the charges they never seemed to have an answer for me other than we are sorry you werent told, but this is what you owe. Isnt it customary to at least try to please your patrons and have good customer service? Nope, not here!My advice to the franchise - train your staff to communicate what charges are going to be incurred and to not charge someones credit card without their knowledge. Also, maybe let your members know when you roll out policy changes, dont just drop it on them with their $100 bill at the end of their session - after theyve already paid $60 for their monthly membership.Fellow patrons - save yourself the headache if you like your hard earned cash. There are plenty of other options for massages in Denver.
Really, really unhappy with Massage Envy. I honestly cant even remember what the massage was like after dealing with all the hassle- they try to sell their membership so hard that I was put into the system with a membership when I had NOT signed any paperwork or authorized them to charge my card. Got the membership fee returned and was assured I was out of the system... only to be charged for membership twice more. When I called to rectify the issue, they kept telling me I was just being billed for my membership. Told them I have never signed up for membership and basically got told that I was wrong. Not very helpful to just tell the customer they are wrong instead of actually doing your job and checking my file. Had to get extremely short and impatient on the phone in order to get anyone to even check the paperwork- not like I like getting mean, but its incredibly frustrating to repeatedly deal with an issue like this and have the customer service refuse to acknowledge or look into my claim. They actually had the nerve to say to me, after I had explained that the reason for my call was that I was being charged in error, But maam, you did authorize us to charge your card. NO, I didnt, as I just explicitly explained is the reason for my call. Instead of just fighting with me, could you take a second to look at the evidence and figure out why the error is happening? I get that billing errors happen, but to have the staff fight with me so hard instead of attempting to resolve it was extremely disappointing. Ultimately the issue is now resolved, but it took 3 months, many, many frustrating phone calls and I had to visit the shop in person to be sure everything was cancelled. It even felt necessary to change my credit card in order to ensure they wont charge me again. Despite the fact that this issue was resolved, I couldnt possibly recommend this place to anyone.
Let me count the ways this place is a RIP OFF:- massages are hit or miss to begin with- memberships are where they get you:- Youre locked into 6+ months for a membership. This means youre auto-billed every month for a massage, whether you use it or not. They do roll over though.- After 6 months, if you want to cancel, you need to give them 30 days written notice.- At that point, you only have 30 days to use all the massages that have rolled over. The ones you already paid for but have received nothing in return for.- You can gift them, but for a $10 fee. And only once a month, and only to the same person once every 6 months. So dont count on bringing your partner along.- After all that, they have the gall to ask you for gratuity. Im a happy over-tipper, but not when you throw it in my face.Just avoid this place, and all Massage Envys.
Disappointed in the customer service. Scheduled an appointment same day to sneak in for a massage. Ended up having a meeting run long and sadly was going to be late for my appointment. When I called to work with them on rescheduling they told me the policy is to charge me 50% cancellation fee and then I could reschedule. Given it was same day and poor circumstances I would’ve thought they would work with me but they said “policy is policy” and charged me. Won’t be returning unfortunately.
Very nice employees and the massage was great. My only complaint is that the location makes parking a bit of a challenge. If you have the option, I would recommend taking a driving service to drop you off. Eventually I did find parking but as a result I was a few minutes late to my appointment and had to walk through some poor weather.
Ive been to this location 3 times, and just signed up for the membership because of my experience with Dylan. His demeanor has always been friendly, professional and calming. His experience level and passion is apparent. I struggle with hip dysplasia, a labral hip tear, and loss of the curve in my neck- all of which lead to a lot of imbalance, tightness and pain. Dylan has done amazing work on my muscles and even given me great tips for a daily routine. Also anytime Ive been in the office all of the staff have been very friendly, professional and prompt.
If youre expecting a 5 star spa experience, this isnt it. But its really good for the class its in. Honestly, Ive paid $hundreds for really high class massages/spas, but I still come back here once a month. Sometimes you get a therapist whos overqualified too. Theres been once out of all the times Ive been there where the therapist forgot(?) to remove her wedding ring -- and that was pretty painful. My only bad experience though.I have no complaints at all. If youre complaining then go spend a big chunk on a world class spa. Otherwise, this place is fine.
I spend a great deal of time driving often times 10 hours in a day. The hour I get once a month is great because it helps me find my center and releases some of the tension in my body & mind. Jeffery is amazing & does a great job at working out the sore spots.
Came to this location with my fiance for our anniversary for a couples massage. I was very dissatisfied with the level of service we received.I had a spinal fusion about 7 years ago and get massages monthly to help with pain management. I have never left a massage feeling worse then when I went in. Until visiting this location. The massage therapist seemed to not really be into it. It felt like the therapist was just going through the motions. During the scalp and neck portion the way my neck kept being moved gave me a stiff neck. The other portions of the massage were just as lack luster. I just remember thinking is this over yet? I left feeling terrible. My fiance has a similar experience. She had her hair all done up for the night. Her therapist kept messing with her hair while having some sort of lotion on his hands she kept moving to keep him from messing with her hair. Finally she asked for a towel for her hair and he gives her a wet towel. When she asked for a dry one he said he didnt know where one was. Apparently thought the massage he was dripping sweet all over her. With out going into details she described him as very creepy in the way he was massaging her.We originally had a 2 hour massage scheduled so glad I knocked it down but wish I would have avoided this place all together. Go to massage heights instead.
I just got a massage from Amber and will recommend her to everyone. She was smiling and so nice from the time I was introduced to her till the time I left. Her massage was EXCELLENT!!! She is one of the best I have ever had and will go back again. Overall experience would be a 10 out of 10 for me.
Probably going to use my massages and cancel my membership. Totally ruined a couples massage and responded with “oh we called you” no....no you didn’t. And you didn’t call both of us and didn’t bother to make sure you got a hold of someone. So we show up and neither had missed calls or voicemails on our machines. So....do you want to reschedule” was the response I got. The therapist called in “sick” that morning, you had a whole afternoon to figure it out, get another therapist in, or actually call us by 3:30. Sad really. Three people standing at a desk....and that’s the customer service that occurred.
Staff is very friendly and professional. Loved my therapist Isaac!
I needed a gift card and of course downtown parking impossible.I just moved here so don’t know downtown.Jayson took my info, stayed on the phone till Pulled on front of office then brought the gift card to my car.Great service Jayson!
I have been a member for about 5 years off and on and always sign up at this location. The front desk staff is always really friendly, and the massages are consistently good. I have found a couple great therapists which is nice.
Extremely difficult to get my account canceled…it took 6 months with monthly charges still coming through. Very difficult to work with in using up my credits. I couldn’t use my credits for my daughter after I cancelled my membership because that’s a “ membership only’ benefit. What a pain in the $;/@$. This Is the second time I have been a member and I have not had good experiences
Naomi is the best masseuse Ive ever had - deep tissue especially! Had many masseuses before but will have no one else after being with her for 2 months. I go back every 2 weeks cause she cares about her clients and goes the extra mile for them. Thanks Naomi!
Ive gone to many massage envys around the country. Im a member. At the Lodo Massage Envey, some of the massage therapists are good. However, there seems be high turn over of therapists and front desk girls/sales girls (primary job)The parking is hard to find - so add an extra 15-20 minutes to your drive so you can find meter parking. The front desk is not personable - more like cash machines that are only interested with collecting your money. Its a real turnoff to ask if I want to pay & tip prior to my massage. This location always loses my files. They never update their computer system so when they lose your file, you have to refill out your paperwork (even if you did so recently). The AC was out for a while. It was so hot in the building. They did fix the AC recently. They shut the business for a while. However, they didnt notify clients, there was no personalized VM - and they never returned the messages. Poor management.Im going to take my business to another massage envy to see if they are better. Honestly, most massage envys ive gone to are very inpersonal and appear to be following a script with their front desk and the massages. However, LoDo massage envy is poorly managed.
They were vert accommodating! This was my first message ever and it was great. When I initially called I didnt mention the fact that Im 6 months pregnant but after talking to a friendand calling back to inform them of this small important detail they were very pleasant and still able to schedule me with my friends! They are amazing!!!!
There are many talented therapists at this location, but the manager, Janelle Nansen has no customer service skills and therefore does not provide customer service training for the front desk staff. I am leaving this location due to poor management.
This location has been very helpful. The therapist here are fantastic and very respectful. The front desk and manager made me feel welcomed. I recommend going here.
I didn’t feel a bit of difference, probably worse not better than when I came in. The person didn’t seem to have any experience, she seemed to just do certain motions without much effect. I had way better massages where I felt amazing for a week afterwards! This one not even few mints afterwards! Very disappointing!
Always a great massage, no matter the therapist. I had Issac and Nick recently. Both great!
This place is seriously a rip off, aside the fact that i paid $120 for a resheduled session (because there was nothing else they could do), the therapist dont really know what they are.doing. Youre locked into a year contract and.they have some stupid 30 day cancellation policy, which is.just another way to make.money if.u forget to cancel. I would not reccommend a membership here, there is no perks.
They never have openings. Never. They take your money but you can never get an appointment because they are reserved for new clients. The massages are great but only when you can get an appointment.
Worked with Tony at LoDo location. It really helped. Was very happy that the manager and staff were so helpful in working with an already and always packed schedule. That is the level of service that sets a location aside from others and creates customer loyalty. Thank you!!!
Asked for a female massage therapist, got a male. They charged a 30% gratuity on my card without asking. I called and complained and they said they would refund the gratuity. They didnt.
David’s hands should be a national treasure. Best massage of my LIFE! I was just in town for the weekend, and he was all booked up, otherwise I would have signed up for a second helping.
I love coming to this location, everyone is always so nice and helpful! Especially Hayley she always brings light to my days:)
First time I ever had a professional massage it was great and the therapist had hands of magic, but the receptionist insisted on me signing up for membership but failed to mention its a 12 month contract.
Ive been going here about a year. They have s frurnd, highly skilled staff that can sooth your muscles. Recently, theyve begun stretching sessions. I tried a wondeful 30min session!
I love coming here every month!Friendly customer service and a firm massage with Nick is always a blessing. Thanks Nick!
Parking is tight and schedulers do not communicate with each other for special circumstances. I will not refer any of my friends to the 120th location
I was very happy with my first visit in Lodi branch. Girls and boys are very polite considerate and professional. Will be back.
Best massage ever😍 also booked a stretch service it was amazing helped me remove tension 10/10 recommend booking tawny
Best ME location Ive ever visited. Jill & Matthew do amazing trigger point.Park on the garage under orange theory across the street for $6
Very nice
Great place, they got me in quick. Kat was amazing! I wished I booked a 90 instead of a 60. Thank you so much!!
Booked a message online. Got a confirmation email. Showed up for my appointment and the place is closed and moved to a new location yet to open. No one answers the phone. Poor, poor job guys.
Nick was amazing! Perfect therapist for a traveling RVer. Cant wait to pass this way again!
Allie is the best deep tissue extra firm pressure masseuse. Good friendly schedulers and nice waiting area.
This Location Is One Of Their Best. Therapists Are Higher Quality Than Other Locations. Hard To Get An Appointment Though!
Always a great experience! Have had 5+ therapists and all have been average to awesome
This location is hit or miss depending on who you get. Once you find a good masseuse they leave. :(
Cynthia was amazing! 10/10
Thank you! I’ve only been here once but nice small getaway tucked amidst Denver.
Michelle is the best deep tissue in the joint. Easy access. Good to work with.
Outstanding service from lodo massage envy. Very nice staff and the facilities are clean.

If you are wanting a relaxing massage, make sure you do NOT get Gabe.
AWESOME! Friendly staff and easy in/out appointments! Clean and relaxing environment.
Nick is awesome!! The employees at the receptionist are very friendly and helpful.
