This place is incredible! The flavors were overpowering at times, which is a commendable experience in a city where flavor is skimped on. The service was personalized and so friendly. The quality of the ingredients, and the innovation of the flavors, plus the incredible weekend Happy Hour deal, made for an awesome date night.Janae and Christian provided spectacular service. We will be recommending Villa Denver to our friends.

I mean, just get it all. You cant go wrong. We kept eating past full because it was so damn good. The service was killer and she gave us amazing suggestions that we loved every bite of each time. Go. Go now. Its great for a date night, girls night, any night. It will not disappoint.

As what some of the reviews have said- the food was okay but the portions were woefully small. The arepas were the size of a half dollar coin yet pricing did not match that (from memory it was $18 or so?). Ceviche portions were also tiny and this was the full price menu. I would understand if we had chosen the HH the portions may reflect that but these were standard menu items. The drinks were good so I would say if you were to come to this venue, have 1-2 drinks here and then move on to a more worthy menu.

I went here for the first time a few weeks ago and was just blown away! The atmosphere was perfect and I loved the immediately cool and trendy vibe. The space is nicely laid out; open but also intimate. I really liked the different seating options and areas and felt very comfortable. Villa was the perfect choice for a nice but affordable date night.I got a few small plates and some drinks to share for the table. The food was incredible and just the right size for sharing. The drinks blew me away! They had amazing flavors and were genuinely beautiful. We tried a few of them and they were all delicious! Nobody could pick out a favorite because they were all THAT good.Our server Janae was so kind and attentive, even though it was pretty busy that night. She made sure we were always taken care of and never had an empty drink in front of us. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and all of her suggestions were perfect for us.I fell in love at first visit with Villa! I will most definitely be back and bringing friends! The pricing is pretty reasonable, but when you factor in all the above, it was more than worth it.

I really enjoyed the ambiance and vibe at this spot! Also one of the only places I’ve been to since relocating to Denver that had some spice. The tapas are fire! Bartenders were kind and the DJ was great! I would like to see more R&B played for a more grown and sexy vibe next time

Great new addition to the neighborhood! The cocktails use fresh squeezed juices and the ambiance is top notch. The bottle service girls are SO fun!! Loved our experience with Kelly! Its a bit pricey, but 10/10 would recommend going! We couldnt stop thinking what a lovely spot it would be for weddings and private events!

Are you looking for a sexy spot to have fabulous food and dance the night away? Look no further. Villa Denver has opened it’s doors and is providing all of that and more. Villa is a full-service tapas bar with bottle service, live music, and entertainment right in downtown Denver.We arrived at Villa and headed inside to grab a drink. The aesthetic was European with white brick, stucco, deep greenery, floral wallpaper, and chandelier & lantern lighting. The décor was beautiful. The staff of Villa were chic & professional; everyone was dressed to impress and quick to serve.Once we had our first round of drinks, we headed upstairs to the parlor. The parlor is where we ate dinner, got bottle service, and had various forms of entertainment wow us throughout the night.The parlor was outlined by green velvet booths and ivy walls. We found our reserved table and sipped on champagne and espresso martinis. A magician came around and performed some card tricks for us; he was amazing.Then it was time to eat some tapas. The Sugar Daddy (Sugar & Fire Steak) was made with NY Strip, chili piloncillo rub, and charred heirloom tomatoes. The steak was delicious, juicy, and had that rich flavor characterized by a NY strip. The chili piloncillo rub added a sweet molasses taste to the meat. The charred heirloom tomatoes added pops of robust citrus.The Octopus Ceviche was made with octopus, tomatillo, avocado, & red onion. The ceviche brought fresh and tangy flavors together with the combination of tender octopus, creamy avocado, and acidic tomatillo. A fabulous spring and summer dish.The Escabeche De Tomate was made with heirloom tomatoes, apple, Anaheim pepper, & red onion. The Escabeche De Tomate was vibrant in color and flavor - smoky, spicy & sweet.We had both kinds of empanadas, bison & pork. The Bison Empanadas were made with bison, olives, & egg. The Pork Empanadas were made with pork, chicken, & potatoes. The empanadas were savory and filling. The warm, flaky empanada pastries were piping hot and stuffed with pork or bison. I loved these.The Pork Belly Arepas were made with pork belly, pineapple, rajas, & queso asadero.Once we finished eating, it was time to party. We got bottles of champagne and danced the night away. There was a fabulous saxophone player that came through. I also got keyed (a custom key necklace from Villa) to officially become a house guest. What a night!

It begins with a red carpet. I seriously felt like a celebrity walking into this beautiful new space right in the heart of Denver! I was sat in Abbys section and I cant tell you how amazing she was to us. I went in with a few friends to celebrate my birthday, and she immediately had birthday drinks over which is their a specialty drink! She gave us food recommendations, so we didnt even have to think. she brought out the best of the best. I would definitely recommend the sliders. The bread and sauce was to die for. We also got a charcuterie board that had a unique mustard that I will definitely go back for.At night it turns into a club upstairs with fire dancers and magicians. I will need more friends if Im going to do that experience! Down stairs had live music though which was perfect for the occasion!

Villa Denver has added a chic new option to Denver nightlife. The live music, decor, and atmosphere almost feels like teleportation to a different state or country. Drinks are imaginative, those were great.However, the food leaves something to be desired. I’ve eaten all over the world and I have to say these are the smallest “tapas” I’ve ever seen. Additionally the taste is lacking. Service is pretty slow and bartenders didn’t feel welcoming. I sat at the bar first then moved to a table because they barely uttered two words to me.My recommendation would be to come here only for a drink but don’t be in a rush to get it.

Gorgeous boho-chic vibe with wonderful staff, drinks, and tapas. I will definitely return!The live music ensembled impeccably with the vibe radio hits, and we were even serenaded by saxophone.A couple of things, seating can be a bit scarce, and the live music is in the back corner without a lot of access or standing room. So if music is your jam, try to request or arrive a but earlier for your coveted back booth area 😉 or the plush stools near the end work well, too!Presley(our server), Ramon, Chichi(musicians), and everyone were such a delight!Thank you, everyone, for such a magical evening! ✨️

The service is attentive and fun, the atmosphere is great! Christian was a great server. Cocktails are tasty and unique. The food overall is fine, pretty small bites and nothing mind blowing. Definitely try the chicken thigh dish. Bathrooms could use some TLC.

One of our favorite bars in all of Denver! Such a cool upscale vibe. The bartenders are awesome and the drinks always crush it. Food is good for snacky but not a ton of options or portions. Awesome spot!

Villa will be my new spot. Both managers Christian and Logan took great care of me! Made sure I had one of the best times at a bar in awhile. Music is phenomenal and Sam the battened was top tier even though she was new. Both managers on duty were great but double shout out to Christian. He is the man!

We had the best night out here! The atmosphere was electric- with the entertainment and music being second to none. The drinks and meal (had the steak) were delicious and the service was outstanding. Our server Janae really made the night an unforgettable one! Definitely recommend.

Christian is one of the most knowledgeable yet entertaining servers we have ever had, he was a blast! Lily, the VIP hostess, brings the fun and brings the value! The new food menu is amazing. Little hint- Wednesday night the menu is half off! Unreal!

Walking into Villa I was instantly impressed with how warm and welcoming the employees are. The entertainment was super cool and the ambience was something I haven’t experienced in Denver in years. It felt nice to be surrounded by good people with great energy. I haven’t danced or had a fun night like that in a while. The drinks were tasty too! Overall great experience! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a fun night out in Denver!

Villa is my favorite spot in Denver! From the food to the cocktails to the entertainment. The service is truly above all else I’ve experienced. You have to try the steak and the simply problematic cocktail. They blew my mind and my taste buds. Maddi is such an amazing bartender. David, Johnny and Andy will go above and beyond to ensure an amazing time. The magician and live music are something you won’t want to miss.

My friends and I came here to celebrate a bachlorette party and we had a blast. DJ Pruitt played such fun music, our server Christian was so attentive and very nice. I didn’t get the bartenders name but she was great. They have a policy were they take any unattended drinks, and as a women I felt safe there with my friends. Thanks for a great time, we will be back.

Villa provides an experience unlike anything else in Denver. From its incredible events, like the White Party or weekend house party entertainment. They provide a home for the DJs to collaborate with percussion and brass players providing the perfect ambiance for a great evening with friends. Theres even a magician that will provide an unforgettable table side experience. Where else in Denver can you see mind blowing magic? Villa is the vibe that Denver was missing…I haven’t had everything on the menu, but my friends love the ceviche and the sugar steak (what i had) was marinated to perfection. So deliciousBottle service is perfect, I’ve seen Birthday parties and wedding groups having a great time as well as NBA champion nuggets having an unforgettable night on the upper level.The service has always been great and the drinks are definitely next level.

My husband and I went to Villa for the first time, and had a great experience! The staff was very friendly and the drinks were great! We didnt try any food since we had just come from dinner but that looked great too. The music was great, the seating was comfortable and it was a good mix of people so we didnt feel out of place since we arent in our 20s 😉. Definitely the kind of upscale place Denver has been lacking for a while. Well be back for sure!

Fantastic array of options. We tried pretty much everything and had Malbec to drink. The dessert flan was excellent. All perfect portions bursting with flavor and the right pairings of sauce and dips. It is nice to have a fulfillment meal and drink in such a cool vibe. Loved the vibes here and how festive it was decorated for Halloween, and the service was good too. The food was mostly salty but lacked other flavor. Empanada was our fav but everything else was okay. Cocktails were so good though so if you’re here for a drink or two it’s perfect!

Womp womp!! was excited to go here for a friend’s birthday celebration, but they cancelled our reservation the evening of due to “inclement weather” It was snowing all day so they could’ve given us notice in the morning instead of 3 hours before our reservation, leaving us scrambling to find dinner for a large party elsewhere, which, while difficult, was not impossible because most other restaurants in Denver are actually able to handle a light snow storm! Kinda lame if you ask me.

Amazing experience. I love this vibe!!! Here at least 3 times a month. I love the VIP host Lilly, she’s amazing and always makes my time here 10/10. Food is excellent

The Good:Great Ambiance, great dj and music upstairs. They have liquer43 to make Carajillos. Nice décor(except the green chairs at the dinner tables, you sink in so unless youre tall you wont eat comfortably).The Bad:My $20 (give or take a couple dollars) bill came out to $41.69 after they added a 49% tip. Not only is 23% forced tip bad enough, but to not check that the system is accurately reflecting that percentage is bad. I realized the charge after the server had run my card, I asked him to fix it, he did not. I have filed a dispute with my credit card company since the restaurant wont open till Weds.The service provided by both bartenders downstairs and service did not warrant 23% gratuity. I must say its not the servers fault. He was nice and friendly, apologetic, but how is he expected to cover the whole front of the house alone? He did not provide us with silverware, obviously did not fix the percentage issue. Didnt check up on us frequently.The Snapper ceviche - the fish was blandThe Vegetarian arepa - the flavor was good, it was the size of a silver dollarThe Plantains & Yuca - Plantains were over fried and salty the Yuca was ok.Definitely not a place Id go back to.

The environment is amazing, warm and inviting! The tapas are absolutely delicious, especially the ceviche! We had a drink with yogurt in it that was to die for! The music on both floors was fantastic and the fire performers were super cool!

Got to stop into villa for my first time a few weekends ago and it was everything I’ve heard about, plus the door guys got jokes lol. Haven’t had any snacks just yet, unless you count JANAE cause she cute AND she put good alcohol in my mouth. Loved it so much I’ll see you tn for round two!

So excited this place exists now!! The location is perfect, the atmosphere is AMAZING! It gives me upscale cocktail vibes on brand with something found in NYC!! The drinks and food were sooo good!! My favorite was the CHICARRÓN DE POLLO!! I’m slowly but surely going to try everything on their menu!Their staff was so amazing, Christian and Kate made our date night so much fun! They were both so warm and welcoming! This place is going to be a GEM!!

One of the best & most diverse nightlife spots in Downtown Denver. One of my favorite places to go to get dressed up, have a nice cocktail, and meet awesome business people.

If I could give this place a negative stars I would! The absolute WORST!! Waiting 45 minutes for a drink that never came. We watched the bartenders standing around. When we told Christian our waiter we were leaving all he could say was “ yeah I was going to say”. Will NEVER ago back and will tell everyone I know. Walked to STK and had an amazing meal and service. Don’t waste your time at this place!!

I went to Villa with a group of my friends this weekend and were served by Calai pronounced California and she was incredibly helpful and attentive and really made the experience a great one. The atmosphere and food was exceptional and she went above and beyond to take care of us all night. Will be back for sure!

AWFUL! The drinks are weak and overpriced and the service was SOOO terribleThe staff just stands around and then when they take your order it takes them forever to make your drink which is mediocre. I was going to reflect the poor service in the tip but they charge 23% AND a credit card fee so no wonder they just stand around. Two weak cocktails ended up being a $50 tab. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I really wanted to like this place. I saw it all over Instagram and was excited to check it out. However, the service was sub par (at best) and slow, the food and drinks were overpriced for the quality.FOOD: FRIED YUCA & PATACONES- bland and the sauce paired with it needs some work, CEVICHES – was just OK, plantain chips sit in the ceviche liquid and become soggy. AL PASTOR SKEWER—Octopus overcooked and rubbery, AREPAS - They were super bready, not enough flavor from filling, also not arepas at all, bread isn’t arepa bread more like a huarache sandwich. SUGAR DADDY (SUGAR & FIRE STEAK)- NY strip was overcooked, and the chimichurri was weird (sweet versus herby and savory like usual)DRINKS: VILLA MARGARITA ($18) Just a marg with the name Villa in front, nothing sets it apart, besides being hella overpriced. SEXY UNIQUE – Nothing about this is Sexy or Unique lol its Raspberry Basil Simple, Cointreau, Grapefruit and Gin/Vodka, again for the price, these cocktails should be $12 max.The ambiance and vibe were tacky/cheesy, esp if they are trying to target 30+ adults. Magicians, fire spinners in a Spanish costume. For the price, I expected a lot more. Whats even crazier is the auto gratuity of 23% with 0 communication from the servers. Their hashtag of “#bespoiled” while providing subpar food and expensive drinks is very odd to me. This place has a lot of work to do if you want the customers to “feel spoiled”. For the price, food quality, bland drinks, and service, I would not recommend.

Do not recommend. I understand tapas are small shareable plates, but these plates are literally 1 - 3 bites max. Example? The croquetas de papas... on the menu in plural form so youd expect AT LEAST 2 to share? Nope. Its a single croqueta sliced in half. Knew we were in trouble soon as that arrived, and all the plates were similar. The $17 - $19 cocktails, while delicious, are SO small. When our $110 bill came for 5 plates that my husband and I got 2 bites from each and 2 tiny drinks, we knew we would not be back. They are REALLY seeing how little food they can get away with serving while calling it Tapas.. check out Barcelona in Rhino for ACTUAL tapas

THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Myself 2 of my friends, came to have some drinks and dinner and waited for 45 minutes and never got our drinks. When we addressed Christian that we wanted to leave, he said “that’s what he was going to say”. I would not ever recommend this place to anybody.

Great food, service, music and atmosphere! Fun to hang out with a friend and a funky drink like “Hard to Reach” or “Simpatico!” The tapas are good esp the Sugar Daddy, plus a few Croquetas. But don’t waist your time w the “choripan” they really should use a bao mi or a soft moist light bread if not sourdough…and should be served w chimichurri and the “salsa golf” plus a spicy mustard instead ….there is a really awesome red pepper dipping sauce that is to die for. Should be served w the croquetas and the empanadas. But didn’t love the Al Pastor. Would be nice gif the empanadas and el pastor to serve up a trio of each for $15…that would be good!
