The food was good, but not great. Service was quite slow even though we were the only customers. Also, the ambiance is in my opinion too intense for a restaurant, makes you feel like youre eating in a mosque. But thats just my taste.

I like Mediterranean food. So I was keep searching in google nearby good Mediterranean food and I found your store near me. So I went there and ordered lamb chops with rice. I got my food and came back to my working place, opened the box and I got extremely burnt food. I called the store and they started to fight me.

A taste of the middle-east right in Doylestown! The friendly host brought me back to my cherished memories in Lebanon 🇱🇧 with the authentic shawarma, Turkish 🇹🇷 coffee, and the memorable mixed shwarma. You always know when people put effort into the food and it’s made from the heart. Count me in when I am home in Doylestown to order from here again and again. Special thank you Ahmed - people never forget how you made them feel 😊😍🍽️🧆

Our host, who is the owner and our server welcomed us warmly. She treated us like we came into her home.We ordered hummus for an appetizer and I then got the shawarma and hummus as my husband got the falafel platter. It was scrumptious! We were filled both with our appetites and d joy!Give them a visit!

Incredible food and service! I dined here with some friends and were very pleased with our experience. They were very warm and welcoming. I also loved the presentation. We got some Moroccan tea and they brought it on a platter with beautiful tea pot. The food was wonderful and delicious. With fresh vegetables and very good flavor! It was one of the most pleasant and relaxing dining experiences. The food was a nice portion as well and we were able to share the grilled platter for 2-3 people with another dish. The Moroccan tea was pleasant and clearly made with fresh mint which was delightful!

My mom took me here to celebrate a big achievement in my life. Id give a lower score if I could. Service was not good. Food was horrible. I could have made it better at home. There was no flavor in anything. Iv been eating ethnic foods my whole life. We have made better hummus, and tabbouleh at home...My mom got the special was supposed to be mixed veggies. She got Asian mixed frozen vegetables. There was a water chestnut and sugar snap peas and celery in her Mediterranean vegetables...along with a slice of tomato and raw onion also there was a bug in the container they brought our check in. My special had more hummus then meat. They had the audacity to char $25 per specialWorst food iv ever had out.Very disappointing. The atmosphere was horrible. Im an energy person and as soon as I walked in a felt heavy and un welcome. We will never go back here nor send people there way. 💯The best part of the meal was getting Ritas on the way home.EDIT:all these good reviews are probably forced onto the person by the owner. As soon as I started taking pictures of the food the owner was very pushy wanting me to post them a good review on social media....these good reviews also show that people dont know good food. You want great Mediterranean food? Try Blue Olive! 🫒🫒🫒

This place was so clean, had great vibes, and the owners are so kind and friendly! The food portion sizes are very generous. They even have belly dancers on weekend. Lots of variety on the menu! Worth the drive. Just do it. Go! This is exactly what I look for when I want to smoke real Arabic SHISHA. Arabic style, made to a perfection. I don’t want to smoke in a club in the dark. If you want to smoke, enjoy conversation and have AUTHENTIC Arabic food this is the place to go. Get the mixed grill, the meat was well marinated and delicious. Lamb chops with meat falling off the bone. Even the Moroccan tea was perfect (I’m Moroccan, I would know!) The kunafa was the real deal, the color, the floral syrupy, cheesy goodness. On top of that you experience real Arab hospitality! A real gem.

The desserts are to die for. She even threw in a delicious mint lemonade on the house, which couldn’t have been fresher. This place may have been good at some point..but I went there last Friday night hoping to get a healthy and tasty shawarma platter and baba ghanoush for dinner and sadly I was BEYOND disappointed. The entire experience, from walking into music BLASTING AND BLARING so loud that you cant hear anyones voice to the lack luster food... And terribly overwhelmed by hookah and teenage drinking. To the outstandingly bad service... Nobody greeted me initially, I was standing around for about 10-15 minutes just waiting for one of the waitresses/hostesses to acknowledge my presence. 2 of them were openly eating on the bar counter and spitting seeds into a plate. I got approached by a SoundCloud rapper selling his mixtape before any of the staff did. Long story Short- I got my food and luckily the environment I walked into really helped me lower my expectations..the food was all under spiced and overpriced and the meat smelled rotten I don’t think chicken should have a gamey smell.I did not eat the food, mainly finished a quarter of the bland baba ghanoush and fed a few pieces of the shawarma platter to my dog. The next morning my dog had an upset stomach and did not eat for a whole day.

A Disheartening Experience at a Place That Should Promote UnityI am deeply saddened to share my recent experience at this restaurant, a place that ostensibly serves up community alongside its cuisine. Instead, it served us an unsavory dish of discrimination, rudeness, and undercooked food. From the moment we entered, there was an unmistakable disparity in the level of service and respect provided. The staff seemed to go out of their way to cater to white patrons, providing them with prompt and courteous service. I left feeling unwelcome and uncomfortable. A restaurant is a place where all customers should be treated with equal kindness and respect - a fundamental aspect this establishment seems to have overlooked. To add insult to injury, the food served to us was undercooked. This not only showcased a lack of care for customer satisfaction but also hinted at a disregard for basic food safety standards. Its truly disheartening that this restaurant, which should be a beacon of our local Muslim community, instead chose to become a symbol of inequality and prejudice. As someone well-integrated within the local Muslim community, I find this deeply unsettling. Our faith teaches us to value unity, respect, and equality for all, values this restaurant has chosen to ignore. In conclusion, this restaurant failed to provide not only quality food but also the basic courtesy and respect that all customers deserve. I strongly urge those looking for an inclusive, welcoming dining experience to seek out other establishments.

Was so excited to finally try this place. The restaurant is beautifully set up and the food smelled so promising. However what we got was beyond disappointing. Falafel platter was not only a tiny portion but lacked any flavor. Falafel was a dense tasteless puck aside mushy bland rice and very acidic unappetizing hummus. I did not finish it after 3 bites. Felt like a chore to chew. My partner was not happy with his shawarma hummus. Needless to say we definitely dont recommend the food and wont be ordering again. I hope this was just an off night. I see so many good reviews and they were nice when I went to pick up but that food was just straight up off putting which is sad because I adore Mediterranean food. What a bummer. :(

Food was fresh and authentic, establishment is clean and well decorated. The owner was very friendly, but I feel he overstepped. He brought out two appetizers that we didnt order and hand-fed us immediately, ensuring we wouldnt be able to send them back. We couldve created a stink about it in that moment, but we were hoping he would cut us a deal on the bill (spoiler alert: he didnt). We came in, two college students, excited for $9 shawarma wraps and left crying on the inside after having spent $70 unwillingly for lunch (including a generous 20% tip). The food is reasonably priced for the area and its great to support a family business, but the place was packed for 2pm on a Tuesday. Getting the extra money out of us seemed hardly necessary.

Very pleased with our takeout order. The service was outstanding. The woman who took the order was friendly and organized, even though the restaurant was crowded and busy. It was prepared in a timely manner, and packaged very well. The food was delicious! Truly authentic feel and you can taste the time and effort put into each dish. We will definitely try to do a dine in experience very soon. Highly recommend this new gem in Doylestown!

I want to like this place so much, I love the idea of variety amongst the food scene coming into Doylestown but unfortunately, after three visits here Ive made up my mind. Its a pass for me. The service is always so strange, from a woman who wanders (almost on the verge of hovering) and only says I dont speak English when you try to make conversation. Or the waitress who needs to be asked several times for more water. Or plates being removed before youre finished eating. I was also shocked that we were charged for extra pita bread that we didnt request, the owner suggested we need another and we obliged, I would have been happy to pay if someone had just mentioned there is a fee. We were only given 1 pita to share despite ordering the large appetizer, which is a $30 course consisting of 6 appetizers, 1 pita is hardly enough. We were also charged the full price for the calamari appetizer although we ordered it as part of the large appetizer, now there is a chance the menu mentioned this charge somewhere but the waitress never mentioned it and if it was excluded then we only wound up ordering/receiving 5 appetizers of the 6 we paid for. Im sad to say I wont be returning.

Very dissatisfied Doylestown needs a better Middle Eastern restaurant. I’m surprised this even made it here. Most of these reviews are fake. Owner is pushy & disrespectful. He was giving us food we did not order then charging us for it…Slow service, dry/overcooked food, small portions, over priced & no delivery. Waste of money!! Try The Good Gyro in New Hope!

The atmosphere immediately put me at ease, and the service and food ( the lamb shank special and the homemade zatar and divine and genius nonmessy sweetly designed homemade baklava) only added more and more peace to my soul. This is certainly a place of peace and good company. A newer establishment where I had loved the tapas place there, prior. A true jewel of Doylestown and Bucks County! Thank you, Soraya and staff for respite from a demanding day of legal work, and an enriching experience to prepare me for the next days morning conference. Unforgettable, and immediately a new go-to for a sanctuary of blessed communion of a days treasured meal. Perfect stop after a visit to the Mercer Museum and/or the Free Library of Doylestown, a short walk away even for my weary bones. Thank you.

What a delightful find! The food is delicious. We tried the mixed mezze dishes and got a scrumptious assortment of felafel, labanah, sambousek, fried cauliflower, mouhammara, and an incredible dish of foul mudammas. Four of us split two different lamb platters. We brought our own wine as the place is BYOB. Couldnt have had a better meal. The host was delightful and helpful. We will definitely revisit.

This is an outstanding restaurant run by wonderful people. They make you feel like you are in their home, welcoming you with Arabic coffee (a real treat) and dates, then pita chips and zaatar. The menu has much more than the usual Mediterranean choices. Today I had shakshuka and it was perfect. Another time I had the moussaka. The restaurant is clean and attractive and has a peaceful atmosphere. Downstairs they have a comfortable hookah lounge: not my thing but it is really cute.(BTW - I used to live in Dearborn Michigan where i had lots of restaurants as well as friends’ kitchens to compare with. I was not asked to write this review.)

My husband and I stopped in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Our experience started off great and we really enjoyed how the restaurant is decorated and the Arabian coffee that is served with dates. A great start quickly turned into a poor experience. We waited an hour just for our appetizers to come out, as did everyone else who was seated. Our entrees came out almost an hour and a half after we had arrived. Our server told us that their cuisine takes longer to cook... we wouldve just appreciated the truth that they were really busy and probably understaffed. My husband did not receive the meal he ordered and both of our dishes were not warm and incomplete. No vegetables on the side like there should have been. We were frustrated and annoyed and ate as fast as possible so we could head out the door and leave. I dont think well come back.

Amazing. Fresh and flavorful. There was more than enough for both of us. Pita bread was refilled numerous times . Coffee came with a dessert sampler. Do not eat at the restaurant upstairs. The food is disgusting and over priced. I got a “Shawarma” thick as a number two pencil. The falafel was the frozen kind you get at the supermarket. And different it was.we had a huge appetizer of 6 dishes and loved them all. The muhamarra , caponata, hummus, felafel, grilled calimari are all amazing. Even the pita was warm, fresh and delectable. I was so excited that there was a Middle Eastern restaurant in Doylestown. I took my daughter last night for a celebratory dinner. Thinking back...walking in, there was no aroma of all the spices that make the food what it is known for.We ordered the special appetizer...fried artichkokes (14.99)...what a disappointed! We also got the cold mezze appetizer plate...tabbouleh (strange flavorless mass mostly cucumber) They called it Hummus...what!It had absolutely no flavor...store bought sabra (which i do not like) tastes better. The third was copanata...had the best flavor out of the three...that is a gift!We also had to try the Fallafel...my favorite...ugh...over cooked ( I make a better vegan version my entire family raves over!!) The tahini sauce (served in a black plastic to go container) was runny...watered down? Really...for that price! We both got the specials. My daughter got Spicy chicken kofta...it was two very small pieces of meat on the plate(darkest chicken I ever saw)...with another cup of the flavorless stuff they called hummus...rice...and what seemed like costco frozen asain stir fried vegetables???I got the Veggie Grill...was literally one thick...very thick onion slice (that was raw ...no seasonings whatsoever ) and a piece of toamato on a skewer on top of not so good rice and a pile of those asian frozen veggies...I even got a water chestnut...since when is that medditeranian???I could say more...We usually give places a second chance...for a grand total of $93...we will not go back.

Great atmosphere, but these are the smallest most expensive portions I have ever seen. My sandwich was light as a feather and 80 percent bread. You order meat, but there is no meat.I get in the short term charging more for less makes profit, but it will cost you when customers dont return. You could get away with these micro portions for a high cost if you were a fancy Michelin star restaurant or a fine-dining tapas place. I get people in Doylestown have money, but this is not a good pricing scheme.I want you guys to succeed, Doylestown needs more ethnic restaurants that arent Italian, please work on your pricing/portion ratios.

We stopped in somewhat later on a Thursday night and the place was nearly full, but we still were well-taken care of by the staff, who were attentive to our needs. We split a large mezze plate and a platter of chicken shwarma. The mezze plate came with three cold and three hot apps - we chose muhammara, bab ghanoush, and houria for the cold apps and falafel, kibbeh and ful mudammas for the hot apps. All of the dips and apps were delicious, and the shwarma platter was beautifully presented, with tender strips of chicken and veggies on a bed of rice. A cute little saucer of zaatar was a nice touch. Complimentary Arabic coffee is also served at the beginning of the meal, and the price point makes it a great value. Definitely worth checking this place out!
