Anastasia was absolutely incredible! She took two people who didn’t know much about dancing and created a beautiful first dance for us (to a challenging song with a lot of tempo changes, might I add)! We really enjoyed our lessons and saw the expertise of the many instructors, especially Anastasia. If you’re looking to spice up your first dance for your wedding or even just have some fun in a supportive, fun community of dancers, Fred Astaire is the place to go!

Great experience! My fiance and I had 0 formal dance experience and this was a fun and informative introduction to get us ready for the big day! We saw much improvement over the 8 weeks and highly recommend Anastasiia!

Fred Astaire Doylestown has enhanced my life tremendously. Ever since my first lesson, I feel consistently motivated to workout at the gym and eat healthier. Although I had no dance background, the instructors at FAD made me feel comfortable yet challenged me to improve each lesson. The owner and instructors are top notch professionals and are very talented dancers and teachers! We are so lucky to have them! In addition, they are all so accommodating with the schedule, which is amazing! Whether you want to dance for fun or you find yourself taking the sport more seriously and wanting to compete, there is room for you at FAD. I only wish I had walked through their doors sooner. I will be enjoying my journey of dance at FAD for a long time to come. ❤️

My wife and I took dance lessons at Fred Astaire in order to prepare us for our wedding last weekend. We (me especially) went in with little dancing knowledge, but were given a 150-second choreographed dance over the course of five lessons. Our dance couldn’t have gone better at the wedding. Anastasia, our teacher, was extremely attentive, helpful, and passionate about making us the best dancers we could be. We couldn’t recommend them more highly.

My husband and I got married on March 10, 2023. We came here to choreograph our first dance together (Marry You by Bruno Mars) and we came in knowing absolutely nothing about dancing. With the 11 lessons that we had with Grace and Nastya, we not only choreographed our dance, we also learned so many different ballroom dances that we will always remember. When I signed us up for dance lessons, my husband was definitely not on board, but after our consultation, learning just a few steps, and what our dance could possibly look like, we both were excited to move forward in learning together. Grace and Nastya worked great together to choreograph our dance (you can see a few action shots in my photos here). During our time here, we were also invited to the February Valentines Day Social where we got to meet all of the amazing dance instructors, and all the people who were also taking dance lessons at the time. During this social, they created a mock dance floor for me and my husband so that we could practice how it might feel on our big day when all eyes are on just the two of us. We would definitely recommend this place to not just couples who want to learn a dance, but to absolutely anyone, from not knowing anything about dancing, to experts, you will learn a lot here. We will definitely miss you guys, and will come again someday to learn something new.

After having taken only two lessons so far I can say with certainty I love the space. I am a dancer by degree but with no ballroom dance experience. Ilya has been a wonderful instructor and I hope to continue learning. Grace has been amazing with getting me set up for my lessons.

The staff here is great. I am a novice dancer, and the instructor, Anastasiia, is very good at explaining and teaching me international ballroom dances. She has a lot of patience and does a good job of getting me to focus on how to improve my style. The manager, Grace, is always on top of my appointments and is always helpful when I need to change my lessons.

We heard this studio won the best large studio award last year, so we visited the studio and joined their Latin Night social dance party on our way to NY. Everyone there was so happy. The instructors are very professional and friendly. Love it and hope to come back soon.

My husband and I took lessons for our first wedding dance with at Fred Astaire Doylestown with Grace and we couldn’t be happier! She’s a great teacher, very patient and understanding, and extremely easy to work with. Our experience was great and we are forever thankful to Grace for making our first dance so unforgettable and unique!

After 20 years of lessons with my resistant husband, he finally signed us up. He liked it so much, he signed us up again after our sessions were completed. Can’t wait for round two. Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Doylestown is my happy place.Ive always wanted to ballroom dance but never had a partner who wanted to go with me. On a whim, I purchased a Groupon for two 30-minute dance lessons because the studio advertised lessons for individuals (not just couples). Bonus: It was a low-cost way to try out the studio. In other words, it was a win-win situation.From my very first call to schedule an appointment, I was impressed by the staffs responsiveness and helpfulness in providing information and answering questions. Graces friendly smiling face at the door is ever a delight.It is impossible to say enough wonderful things about my instructor, Ilya. He is a consummate professional -- skilled, knowledgeable, patient, encouraging, and attentive to detail. Whether Ilya is providing enthusiastic positive reinforcement or a gentle correction, I appreciate his constant immediate feedback, which is vital for improvement. Honestly, the first lesson was so overwhelmingly positive, it only took minutes for me to know that ballroom dancing was something I wanted to continue doing.Injuries from past dance classes have made me vigilant about not twisting my knees. So far, these lessons have been a fantastic low-impact exercise, which is a polite way to say theyre kicking my rear (and legs and back and arms). My posture is getting better. My mobility and balance are improving. (Once AARP starts sending you mail, these are things you think about.) Even my brain gets a workout.For me, the best part of these lessons, though, is how they force me to center myself and focus on the present moment. At the beginning, there is the awkwardness of being hyperaware of everything from oneself to the instructor to the room. But as you gain comfortability and confidence, that awkwardness transforms into a holistic zen that comes from being connected -- connected to ones own body and mind, connected to ones dance partner, to other people on the floor, to the music, to the ground... It is a truly engaging, creative, and FUN activity. Its more than fun. Its pure joy.

Amazing dance studio! We worked with Roman for our wedding dance. He listened to our song, helped to choreograph it and taught us the moves. We had private lessons once a week with him and he was very patient, knowledgeable and made every session fun! He is a very good instructor and worked to fine tune our dance to the very last lesson right before our wedding! He took pride and passion in teaching us and our dance came out beautiful!Absolutely worth every dollar!

Couldn’t be happier with this dance studio! Val is our instructor, and he is so fun to work with! My husband and I took private lessons for our first dance for our wedding. I had danced ballet previously, but neither of us had danced ballroom, but within 20 lessons, Val had us ready to wow! Our first dance was fun and exciting, and our guests were wow’d with our new found skills! Thank you Val!

I went to Fred Astaire Doylestown a few months ago to get back into ballroom dancing. I started taking private lessons with Elena. Shes is a professional in every way pushing me to get better and better. Having just won the top male performer at the winter ball shows how good she is.But my experience at Fred Astaire is about much more than ballroom dancing. In addition the becoming a better dancer, my posture is much better, my confidence has gotten much stronger and best of all I have true happiness! Elena and Igori are like family to me. It is not possible to thank them enough. I highly recommend Fred Astaire Doylestown for anyone looking for what I just described!

Only a few dance lessons in, and already my fiancé and I have learned so much! Igori is extremely talented and very patient with beginner dancers like us. Everyone there is so welcoming and makes us feel at ease. Highly recommended, especially for engaged couples who want to learn to dance for their wedding, as well as any other beginner or experienced dancer. Looking forward to our next lesson already!

I have been taking lessons there since they opened. So much fun. Great exercise. Great instructors and people who are there. Now is the time to think about doing something fun when we can all be out again.
