Club Illusion

I’m going to give this place four stars only because the food has went down from its glory time. I’ll chuck that out too Covid. I paid $15 for chicken 7 wings… Very small actually, possibly switched chicken . Not sure.Now the review of the club:If you’re visiting St. Louis and want a good night out, venture about 6 minutes across the bridge.This club caters to a 30 and up mature black crowd. It has its moments of being in East St. Louis, but it’s a good spot to have a good time.It’s classic old school vibes with small chairs and tables with mirrors across the walls. Good priced cocktails and stays open until about 4 am.

Used to be one of my favorite spots as a young gentleman getting his first tastes of the St. Louis/ East St. Louis night life...now I just come for the shrimp and chicken combo plate. Unbeatable!!!

I go for the wings cause they are so good. But I went and got the 7 wings tonight got home I had 7 wingets and fries they charged $13 for this it was whole wings at first things are going down I want do that again.

The chicken tasted old and it was tuff and dry. The fish I ordered was more bread then meat. But the shrimp I ordered was 👌 And theyre over priced...

Went last nite for a snoot and fries...waited in line almost an hour to get a snoot that tasted like the Styrofoam container it came in but the only difference is the container is tender and probably had more flavor

Ive always loved their food but they need better business practices. Dont tell someone to pull around to the window and then shut the window and turn off the light... You can have the decency to tell a customer that you are sold out especially if you told that customer to pull around...

We ordered a meal and this establishment tried to charge us $6 more for a large shrimp and chicken combo meal, and when we called them out we said give us the same thing but small combo they said $21.50 and that was less thanLarge 29.99Small 20.99

Food was atrocious!!! Too high too!!! Our order was wrong and the line was too damn long to get back in it. Ill never eat there again and wouldnt recommend them to my worst enemy!!! Real talk!!!

The food was horrible! The chicken taste dirty and still had feathers on it. I don’t remember it tasting like that.

I always enjoy myself every single time I go to this club. Love the drinks, the music and the atmosphere, Ive been going here for over 30 years. Love it.

There are photos of the poles but there are none in the real place? When I called to kindly inform them of this I got hung up on? Very rude and strange.

Do not go across the Street they will try to trap you in the club and the local police won’t do anything about it ! Funny how they came out after i called 911 after the front doors being lock 🚩🚩🚩🚩

Horrible customer service, horrible people, Id advise whoever reads this need to avoid this place. They Are NOT FRIENDLY
