What a nice place! Loved the old historic building 👌 Amazing selection of craft beer and friendly service! I went here with my girlfriend and this was our first stop downtown Eau Claire and we definitely had a good time! Try a flight of the beers 🍻

Great beer on tap and tons to choose from. If beer is not your thing, all the bartenders are more than capable of making you a delicious cocktail. The music is good when played by staff, otherwise there is TouchTunes available. I did five stars for food, so my rating wouldnt be low. They dont really have any food options besides Mokes pizza or free popcorn. There are always some sort of event going on, whether it be trivia, bingo, drag shows, and themed events. They also have live music. If youre looking to see music there, I would check out their Instagram or Facebook. They have darts to keep a group entertained. They have a large seating area and a nice bench area for you and others to play a table top game, if you bring one in. Overall Firehouse is a top tier bar downtown! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Awesome beer selection — not just quantity, but unique choices. The bartender was very knowledgeable about beer. We stopped in on a July afternoon, so doors were open for fresh air. Very cool atmosphere.

The bar with the 2nd most taps in Eau Claire. Only beer though. No ciders or kombucha or Mead or sangria. I think they make mixed drinks. They have trivia nights, dartboards. Its located in a great spot downtown. My server Clayton was one of the most knowledgeable bartenders Ive ever had, great reccomendations. They have flights available.

My favorite beer, even better from the keg!Great service and atmosphere that allowed us to talk with friends for a couple of hours, *without* having to yell over other people.Appropriately lit bar. Clean bathrooms. 38 taps! Im not from here, but there is no question I would hang out here if I did.

Great spot to grab a beer!Bartender was super friendly and gave us samples and insight into their 38 beer tap list! Had a bunch of Halloween themed activities going on as well. Would highly recommend popping in for a drink

Really unique bar in downtown Eau Claire. Authentic Midwestern atmosphere. The only things youll see on the menu here are a few options for frozen pizza and over 90 beers on tap. Also, free popcorn.

One of probably the original 20 patrons from when the Firehouse first opened. Used to be treated quite well. After the new owners took over, basically loyalty no longer mattered. Place basically became a pickup joint and mixed drinks took a front seat. Conversations used to be focused on quality craft beer, local farm to table establishments and local music. Now its more of a political statement hangout which is fine but you wont be seeing my wallet make an appearance. Good luck.

First time at any location of Fire House Subs...have to say was an amazing stop all around...from the food being amazing..to the nice young lady taking our order, to the young man that finished our amazing sandwiches...will definitely be coming back...give more than a five star rating...will probably order for lunch and dinner next time..( since I live to far away)...Keep up the amazing work

Do you like beer? Im not talking Coors or Bud Lite, I mean do you REALLY like beer? This is your spot! The board is some twenty feet wide and six feet tall and literally chalk full (written in chalk) of craft beers from pale ales and lagers to thick bourbon stouts. Nearly 40 taps of everything you can think of. The cocktail selection is limited, but theyll put together something for you if you ask. And they have bottled wine. A bit of a raucous atmosphere with a few games on the side but large space so its not too terribly loud. Older furnishings could use an update but it has lived in charm. Also I learned that tips are not required but still appreciated, and these guys put in the effort. Gotta say Im glad to see more spots moving away from tip culture, but the prices here were low enough I still tipped.

Firehouse is our fav spot for date night or meeting up with friends. The drink prices are very affordable especially during happy hour. Great selection of beers for the beer lover! We enjoy when they open the big doors and can see the downtown and glimpses of river as we have drinks. The frozen pizza is very delicious. Perfect for a filling quick meal for two people or light snack for a group.

The variety of beer, mixed drinks, and NA options coupled with the friendliness of the staff here makes for a great place to be.

One of the best places in Eau Claire. Especially for queer folk!!! Love the drag shows they have. Thank you for the constant support! Very rare that a business goes above and beyond to support queer people.

A friendly little bar with a large selection of beers. Tonight they unfortunately had a larger crowd than expected and service was a bit slow.

Always a go-to when we need a chill place to hang out and try new beers! We also love taking our guests here. Love the building and the staff! The popcorn is a must and the pizza (although frozen) is just what you need after a few beers!

The girl working on 11/12 needs to look into a different gig. We walked in at 3:25PM and the place was far from busy. For whatever reason she made it a point to ignore my girlfriend and I. She continued to make it a point to ask other patrons sitting at the bar what they wanted for their next drink instead of serving us. The customer next to us said I know you have other customers waiting referring to us and she went to another set of people who had half of their beers left and asked what they wanted to try next. We finally thought oh its finally our turn, after shes asked every person at the bar if they needed anything else as we patiently stood there waiting to be served. Then she hiked her foot up onto the ledge of the counter and started tying her shoe as if we werent even there. Weve always had a great time here in the past and enjoyed the experience but this put a damper on our date. After waiting for 10 minutes basically right in front of her face as she intentionally ignored us, we decided to leave since the bartender had still not even acknowledged we were standing right in front of her waiting to be helped. Maybe something changed after this place was bought out, the service and friendliness used to be wonderful and we really enjoyed this place.

I always have a good experience at the fire house. The taplist changes often enough to keep me interested but my favorite beers stay on long enough to let me enjoy a few visits with them. The only complaint I had previously was rhe challenge in ordering if not seated at the bar but recently the establishment has removed a few barstools and allowed for an ordering area. I love this change. The staff are always incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and I bring all sorts of friends to this place.

I love getting their sour beers when they host drag shows!

Ive been going to this bar a few times a year for the last few years but the last time we went every beer tasted like dirty tap lines (we got 4 different beers). If youre going to be a beer bar you have to to keep your tap lines clean. Every other time Ive been here the beers have tasted awesome. Hopefully it was just an off week because Ive always enjoyed the feel and tap list at this bar.

Fun Trivia night. Great selection of craft beers. Not very handicap friendly. Very few low/regular tables way in the back. Difficult to navigate past bar and high top tables.

Although the extensive beer selection is quite formidable, the bartender seemed like she was afraid of me. Tried to strike a conversation with her and she was dismissive. The patronage was cliquey at best and not very inviting to people who were new to the bar

Our sever was super nice and the place was cute! Our kids got firefighter hats and enjoyed looking at all the memorabilia! Food was good and my husband enjoyed their beers. Would come back!

I really love The Fire House because they are constantly updating and rotating their menu. This is a wonderful place to go if you want to try something new. All the bartenders I have met seem to be very personable and help me picking the best beers for my taste.Even when they are busy, I have always got my drink in a timely fashion. Good music, darts to play, and you can definitely go to have a great conversation. Love this place!

This is the happening place in Eau Claire. This place is pretty chill and crowded on weekends. Everyone in this town seem to be very very nice and friendly. ( But then I always feel like everybody is nice when I go out of NYC) . Anyway this place has a good selection of beers and if you are into cocktails the bartender can make you one. But definitely go for beers.

Super cool venue in a former fire station. The beer selection is the best Ive found in Eau Claire. They keep it fresh and rotate their 38 taps to keep it seasonal. The service has been great every time I stop in. Definitely worth a visit if youre into craft beer.

Great beer selection. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICEI went here a week ago to check out the 30+ beers on tap. I got one pint from the less than friendly bartender and it was tasty, but a bit flat. I ordered one of the Lucette beers and it was absolutely awful. I asked the other bartender if it was supposed to taste like that and he told me that it was a screw up from when they were trying to make their Easy Rider Ale. I thought it was a bit odd that they would buy a beer that was a mistake. I made it clear to the bartender that the beer was bad, but he didnt offer to swap out my beer and walked away. I asked the first bartender and she informed me that she could not pour me a different beer and walked away. I couldnt actually believe the lack of customer service. All she had to do was offer me a different $6 beer that they pay $1 for and I would have been a customer for life. Instead, they lost me as a customer and I will now tell everyone I know (and you) that they should never give this place their business. Enough said.

I love the firehouse! They always have a giant selection of beer. Even though they have a large selection of beer they make amazing bloodies and old fashions. They always have arguely the greatest bar tenders in Eau Claire. They dont have live music often but when they do the sound is decent.

Best beer selection in town. 38 rotating (mostly) taps of top notch crafts. Awesome bartenders. Always a great atmosphere. Free popcorn. They have Lotsa Mozza Pizzas. Domestics in the cooler if youre not worthy of real beer.

Its pricey lets not kid ourselves. Its downtown not a water street bar, but its eau Claire pricey which isnt Minneapolis pricey so do what you will with that knowledge. However this place has got to have the largest selection of craft brews on tap. Its got a great location and a great vibe. Go here and have a few.

Great section of different microbrews. Very friendly staff and will help you figure out what beers to try. Went to the 3 Floyds takeover and was able to talk to some of the people that work there. Part of the deal was getting a 3 Floyds glass. The bartender wrapped it up to try and keep it from breaking in the saddle bag...well it worked. Customer service is awesome. Albeit a little pricey for drinking downtown. However thats for the different microbrews.

Great craft beer selection, Full bar, friendly staff, plenty of seating, open and airy in the summertime, free popcorn, & they will cook a frozen pizza if you are hungry. Seems like they occasionally do tap takeovers too. Whats not to love? Ill be back next time Im in downtown Eau Claire.

The drinks were great and we loved the support for the community! My only complaint and it is only my personal opinion but I didnt care for the music playing. It was a tad loud and it felt more like a college bar with rave music.

This place is located off of Barstow and is extremely difficult to find parking depending on the day of the week. It has excellent beer selection and seems to always be packed in the later evening. I will be honest its one of the places I will stop by before another bar or getting food but is really going to be different for each person.

Good beer selection. Music is a bit loud for quiet conversation, but not bad. Darts, big screens, foosball style hockey game. For a wide variety of ages also.

Ugh. A great place for beer enthusiasts IF you can get service. Can be a little daunting to walk up to the bar during busy times and fight for a bartenders attention. But Im told buy my fellow beer enthusiasts friends that this place is worth it.

The selection of brews are vast! I try a new one each time I go there. My favorite is Potosi Steamboat Shandy, but they have a blueberry flavor that is damn fine.During the warmer months I am able to bring along my dog Beau (yes, theyre dog-friendly, as long as your pooch is well-behaved). I love it because I can walk there from my house, and Beau loves it because of all the popcorn people give/drop to him.Ive even gone there just for the live music. Its that great of a place.

Im not a big beer drinker, but this bar might just convert me. Relaxed atmosphere with knowledgeable bartenders, a frequently updated beer menu, lots of tables, popcorn, and pizzas. My groups favorite by far!

Great and formative bartenders. We like being there a lot, but had to leave after one drink because of the noise. With the music so loud and the acoustics it was impossible to talk. May try to go back on a slower night.

Apparently the bartender wasnt prepared to actually WORK on a Saturday afternoon! I realize that an entire wedding party and many guests was probably NOT the normal for 5pm ....but she spent much of her time texting and on her cell phone...very long wait for drinks! The mead I had was excellent...just took forever to get waited on while the bartender girl was busy on her phone....

The bartender took forever, was very short with us and that made it uncomfortable. We didnt even drink our beer, I couldnt see staying and spending money somewhere we didnt feel welcome. On top of that it was dull compared to other Eau Claire bars. No laughing, just everyone quiet sitting forward in their barstools. Just not for me (or anyone I know)

Didnt know what to expect but found 40 beer names on the wall and only knew 1 of them but not in their flavor, also they have 2 fruit beers, what....fruit beer.... if I drank beer I would have to try that

I was surprisingly disappointed by my experience at the ECFH...Rating them at a 0 for customer service, I suggest you keep a sharp eye on what the bartender is handing back to you for change.
