They never Disappoint. Here are a couple of photos that I’ve taken over the past year, along with some of the inspirations.

This place is terrible and will never come back. Went in with a set to be removed and start over with color powder. They took all my own naild off with trying to take off the set I had. They didn’t want to give me any of the power I wanted. Had I had to walk out of there with my natural nails all messed up and shorter then how I went in.

I hate that I have to write this review because the nail techs are so nice, but I’ve been in pain since I left two days ago and it actually was so bad that it kept me up last night. I’ve gone to this salon 6 or 7 times now and I’ve had an issue almost every time. I kept going because it’s so much cheaper than other salons but I got what I paid for I guess. And what I got was a deep gash in my finger because the nail tech went to file down my cuticles but she used the same harsh drill bit and same speed that she used to file down the hard acrylic and literally filed down my flesh. And even missed my cuticle. I can’t even get a picture that shows how bad and deep it is in person. And it just keeps getting worse as time goes on. This isn’t the first time they’ve cut my finger taking off my cuticles either because they usually use these sharp plier things to pluck your cuticle and catch your skin sometimes because they do it fast and pluck like their tweezing hair. All this on top of them accidentally taking off half of one of my eyebrows one time and trying to cover it up. And not once was I offered a discount. Not to mention I had to repaint my nails this time around. I’m a very understanding person. I even still tipped the nail tech after this incident because she still did my nails and like I said she’s sweet. But to not even offer a discount after my finger was gushing blood? And the pain is a horrible throbbing pain. You really don’t realize how much you use your fingers until someone takes a chunk of one of them and you feel a searing pain every time you accidentally brush it against something. I also asked her to file down my natural nail underneath because they never do and she just hacked a few pieces of them and left the majority of my nail underneath. Also, one time the other nail tech realized that the color polish I picked out was old as soon as she put it on my finger and kept applying it. I thought maybe I was overthinking it and that it actually wasn’t old polish but it sure was and it looked like a child painted my nails when they were dry. I switched to the other tech after that. Not to mention that they rip your grown out nails off with the same sharp pliers they use for your cuticles. Because of that, she ripped my natural nail off and glued it back on like I wouldn’t notice. I know I should have started going to another salon but I’m a creature of habit and like I said they’re way cheaper. I thought maybe it was just a fluke those times and I do like the techs. I didn’t even want to write this review because the techs are sweet but they obviously don’t care about their customers to not even at the very least offer a discount. I also can’t sit here and let someone else spend their hard earned money just to be in pain for a week.My suggestion to the techs, stop rushing on everyone who comes in. I know you’re trying to get things done as quick as possible to get the next person is and that’s probably how you keep your prices low, but I think I speak for everyone when I say we’d rather pay more than have to leave with half a finger and half an eyebrow. Also, stop using the pliers to take off cuticles because it’s inevitable that you’re going to pluck someone’s skin. And you end up leaving chunks of cuticle behind anyway. Use the electric drill with the softest drill bit and on the lowest setting. You don’t need to use the same harsh drill bit and the same speed that you use to file down hard acrylic. And if you want to keep going fast and taking peoples skin and half their eyebrows at least offer a discount. Because you just lost a well paying, well tipping customer from this.

Great place. I have tried so many nail salons and I always come back here. Clean and friendly. Always quick and GREAT PRICES!!! Plus they are always ahead of the newest nail fashion. Love them

I have been coming here since I moved to elmwood park in June 2020. They have always given exceptional service and are very courteous. They even copy designs I get from the internet perfectly. And the price is very good.

I have been going to Crystal Nails for a very long time and of course I will always be going for as long as I can, Kelly has been doing my nails and I am totally satisfied.There was another lady I forget her name that did my nails when Kelly was away on vacation,she does very well too…the people there are nice people.I recommend them.

My daughter and I do our nails with Linda. She’s pretty good at what she does and she gives the best massages once she’s done with your nails. My only problem was the last time I was there I cut my natural nails shorter and did the dip powder. So did my daughter. We both had lifts the very next day. In which I’m surprised because she’s usually pretty good with our nails.I have noticed that when people start arriving she tries to rush and that’s when the oops come. All I ask for is please take your time with your customers. We all pay to do our nails. To maintain nails is expensive. Don’t feel intimidated by those that come in rushing you. You are human not a robot. If they can’t wait, let them leave. Otherwise you are going to lose your good customers the ones that tip good, in my opinion.This is why I give you five stars because youare human and we all make mistakes. Besides you are always careful with me because my skin is very sensitive. You always try not to cut me because I freak out. I appreciate you.I will be calling for an appointment soon. I recently had surgery so I haven’t been able to do my nails.Thank You Linda for always doing your best. I can’t wait to do my nails and pedicure again.

I would not recommend this place to anyone or ever go back. I went in for a pedicure and gel mani. I have not gotten a pedicure in 2 months and this lady was able to do my pedicure in 7 minutes. She did a terrible job cleaning up my manicure. Left a lot of cuticles and also a lot of nail dust. Instead of asking to wash my hands, she just added oil so you can’t see it. Once all that oil leaves from my feet and hands, I am going to be back to where I was before I walked in. Terrible

I have been going to this Salon for about a year now Kelly is amazing at what she does, even though I always call her Nancy lol Sorry for that Kelly. you are amazing I have never had a bad experience since I have started going there, I always call in advance so I have my appt when I get there this is very helpful being that I go there straight from work. I would give Kelly a 10 stars she is kind, respectful soft spoken and gets the job done :-)

I always come here to see ruby, she is very nice and talented. I enjoy the spa pedicure as well, love it and will definitely come back.

Ive been coming to this nail salon since 2017. Some experiences were bad, but nothing to make me so unhappy to never come back. Sadly after today, I will not be coming back.I went in for a UV gel manicure, something I’ve gotten done a handful of times for around $40-$55 depending on if I got a design or not. Today I was charged $65 with no one telling me there was an increase in pricing. The money is not the main issue here, but a heads up would’ve been nice.The problem was the new guy who did my nails. I previously had powder on my nails but asked for UV Gel to prevent further chipping and breaks. My nails have natural length, and I needed tips on 2 nails to make them even, something I’ve gotten done plenty of times here. The guy doing my nails CUT my nails without asking if I wanted them cut down or not. A very sad experience for anyone growing out their own nails. Again, I’ve been a customer since 2017 & NEVER has anyone cut my nails without asking me first.Please inform him to ASK before cutting someone’s nails, so no one else has to experience the pain of their natural nails being cut after growing them out.

I came here for the first time about a week ago and I got a spa pedicure and a gel manicure by Aurora (I don’t know if I spelled her name correctly). She was absolutely amazing!! When I first arrived, I was immediately greeted and 2 different nail techs came over and assisted me right away, even with no appointment! Aurora was super friendly, and took her time with doing both my hands and feet. I noticed throughout my time here that she genuinely cared about how my nails turned out. I have been getting gel manicures and pedicures for a while from other salons in the area, and they always end up chipping a few days later due to me being a waitress, and this was the first time, even after the first week that not one single nail has chipped!!! Every employee that works here was super friendly, and from reading other reviews, it seems that people complain about their services being pricey; but in my opinion, you get what you pay for. I have received other services cheaper from other places, but this is the first salon in the area that I am fully satisfied! I will definitely be returning as a regular customer from now on! 🙂

I have been going to this nail salon for a long time. However, the last time that I was there the technician, Auora was very rude to me.She is the young girl that did my pedi the day before. I came back the very next day because Tahoe missed some spots on my toe nails. I explained my problem and was totally ignored at first. They stated that it was dead skin on my two toe nails and that was the reason why the polish was chipped on the two toe nails. I explained that if that was the problem, the dead skin should have been removed when I got my pedicure. They began talking in their language and ignoring me. Finally, Amy did my two toes over and until this day, I have never gone back. This is America, speak English. It’s very rude to the customers.Ann

I have been coming here for years everyone is always friendly!!!! but sadly I noticed they changed most of the workers specially after the pandemic.. each week I went there was always someone new giving pedicures. The new people don’t know how to do a pedicure both times I went I got someone new and my pedicure was horrible. They also don’t have enough people working on pedicures like they used to, they always have about 5 or 6 people doing nails and 4 people doing pedicures and now I only see 1 person doing pedicures because the rest are only doing nails so the wait is long. This place has changed a lot and not for the better I won’t be coming here anymore I’m not going to keep paying for a pedicure that isn’t done properly.

I appreciate them for taking me last minute when they were about to close. I did my eyebrows and pedicure.

$10 regular manicure. $20 regular pedicure.Manicure didnt stay well - I got it done Wednesday night (I was the last appt - they close about 7/7:30pm), and by Friday MORNING 6 nails were halfway chipped. I couldnt believe it. Was very disappointed. I dont make time for relaxing things like this, so it was a treat for me, but will not be going back. Nice people, dont know much English, but I dont know what brand of nail polish they used. I shouldve checked. Ive had regular manicures done before and they lasted approx. a couple weeks with minor chipping. Not this time.My pedicure lasted 1 month. Was a different brand of nail polish and a different person was putting it on (one person was doing manicure while the other a pedicure.)

The worker was inexperience,Two people worked on me at same time and it was horrible, I went back next day they laughed and talked about me in their language.I asked for owner they said they were not there.I paid 75$ for a manicure and pedicure and tip them both.I will never there again. Very unhappy unsatisfied.

Horrible experience & the manager did absolutely nothing to resolve my issue! Just took my money & said “next time.” Customer service means nothing to them! They are all about the money! Stay away from this place!

Haven’t really had any issues here. Their gel mani’s& pedi’s usually come out really goodI would just say it does get fairly busy it’s better to go during the week.

I got my nail done with Linda. She is always doing nice nails with me. The best service around the neighbors. Definitely will come back.

Chris is a great job! (With a lil massage at the end ☺️) Issa took her time on my feet. The establishment is clean and good ambiance.

I had a pedicure done my toenails were mis shapped they keep pushing gel polish which is more expensive. They dont listen to you, very money hungry and way over priced.

I just went to get a pedicure for my mother and I and he kept asking my mom like are you going to pay whos payingShe finished before me I was going to pay when I was done I didnt even get a chance to dry my feet and you know I just never felt more uncomfortable in my life Im never going back there again

Only did my eyebrows, but not my upper lip chin because the hair is too short I will not be coming back here again.

Horrible service, no proper management just a WHOLE mess & 2 and a half hour wait was so upset painted my 4yr nails paid and left will never return, what’s the point of making a appointment?!

The first time I went the person who assisted me was very kind, but today I went and it was the most unpleasant experience Ive ever had when getting my nails done, they did my pedicure and manicure and they didnt remove the cuticle, while they did my feet they came a lady and she started to apply my nails quite aggressively, that is to say that at this moment I have a strong pain in my nails, she left them dirty with acrylic, apart from the fact that I showed the administrator how my nails were, I did not feel what she did nothing to remedy this and how expensive this service was.

First time coming and they did a great job for me and my boyfriend. Thank you Kelly and Aurora 💚

These people can’t do nails for their life. They get upset at you when you tell them you want your nails a certain way & don’t care if you’re satisfied or not.

Everytime I call the guy that answer needs to know how answer with business name. When I call not sure if I have the wrong # or what. Also what and where is Dave.

I really liked getting my nails done in this place, but I will stop going because all their clients say yes and waiting for more than three people so that in the end the wait is longer, that was repeated so many times it seems disrespectful to me and The mockery of the employees for this leaves much to be desired. I will never return, I think Kelly lost one more client since previously we were a group and the only one missing was me not to return.
